Chris Brown told a story that seemingly detailed a bizarre outing from Kanye West, without mentioning him by name.

The Grammy-winning singer, 34, appeared Sunday on the R&B MONEY Podcast in a segment called I Ain’t Saying No Names, in which the guest tells an amusing story about a person without naming them.

The Tappahannock, Virginia native told the story about a ‘huge artist’ who said they ‘wanted to go out to the club with’ him and his entourage.

Brown said he was initially optimistic about the outing: ‘I’m like, “Alright, cool, meet me at the crib, we gonna go to the club.” It’s n**** night, it’s turn-up night.’

The Forever vocalist noted that another prominent artist was slated to take the stage that evening, ‘and that artist’s song was the number one song in the country.’

‘We get in the club, I make sure we got the whole section full of women,’ Brown said, adding that the mystery artist was ‘looking around.’

He continued: ‘The song come on, the other artist is onstage, starts singing the song, the whole building erupt. I’m talking about it erupts – everybody – girls in our section, they going crazy.

‘I look over to this person … not a smirk, not a head nod – nothing.’

Brown said that the mystery artist (believed to be West) then vacated their section and relocated to the DJ booth where the featured artist was performing the song.

He said that the mystery artist was nodding his head along to the rhythm of the track being performed, before taking the microphone away from the featured artist.

Brown said he deduced that the mystery artist was overcome by ego, artistry, or a combination of both after he derailed the show from the featured performer.

‘So I’m thinking this artist is about to do some songs,’ Brown said. ‘I’m like, “OK, he got the itch.” Some artists can’t take it, you know, they self centered though, they got main character syndrome.’

‘I’m talking about talking, I’m talking about saying all of everything about nothing,’ Brown said. ‘It’s so disappointing, when I was in there, I started looking around.’

He said that the club’s vibe went from upbeat to ‘the waiting room in hell’ and that attendees ‘turned into psychopath people’ after 45 minutes of the mystery artist’s nonsensical rambling.

‘The topic of what his rant was about, it was like ‘What the f***, put the music back on!’ Brown said.

Brown said he left the main area of the venue to ‘smoke a blunt’ and escape the torturous ranting for about a half-hour, but by the time he returned, the mystery artist had taken ‘over the club’ and most of the women in their section had departed.

Brown said he was about to leave when the mystery artist made a remark that especially put him off.

‘The last thing I hear, “Such and such ain’t stick their finger in my booty. I don’t even play that way” – I said, “Yeah, I’m out this motherf***er.”‘

The comment could be the giveaway that the mystery artist was West, as West’s ex-girlfriend Amber Rose claimed eight years ago that West was partial to anal stimulation when they had relations.

Kanye West recently opened up about feeling hurt by a diss from his fellow Chicagoan and former collaborator, Lil Durk.

F1 Journalist Nate Saunders once put Lewis Hamilton under the spotlight by asking him if he thought he had improved as a driver since 2016. Not only did Hamilton reply positively to the question, but he also claimed he had improved as a teammate over the years. The response from the seven-time world champion left his 2016 teammate Nico Rosberg almost frozen as he watched the press conference alongside fellow Sky Sports presenters. 

With Hamilton and Max Verstappen were engrossed in a fight to the finish in 2021, Saunders asked the Mercedes driver, “Lewis, are you a better driver now than you were in ’16?” A confident defending champion replied – 

“Yes. And teammate.”

As seen in the video clip uploaded on X by user @sedici44wdc, the cameras immediately cut to Nico Rosberg, who opted for a stoic demeanor. Presumably, any reaction from the 2016 world champion could have become a major talking point in the F1 world, which Rosberg realized. Hence, the German former driver opted to stay silent and not react to the claim in any way, shape, or form. 

Teammates at Mercedes, Hamilton, and Rosberg found themselves in a fierce battle for the championship in 2016. However, things were not always hostile between the former teammates.

Competing together in the karting series, Hamilton and Rosberg became the best of friends. With dreams of competing in F1 together, the young drivers had little clue that their friendship would turn into one of the most iconic rivalries of F1. 

Now an F1 expert, Rosberg has become increasingly appreciative of his former teammate. Each time the seven-time world champion performs well, the 2016 champ is there to applaud him. 

Have Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton buried the hatchet?

Ahead of the 2024 season, Nico Rosberg had fans in for a shock when he revealed heartwarming news about him and Hamilton. The German revealed he and Hamilton had repaired their friendship. He added that they even meet each other from time to time outside the F1 paddock. Furthermore, Hamilton makes sure to send Rosberg’s daughters “a huge box full of gifts” on every Christmas. 

The 38-year-old also sat down to discuss his former teammate’s upcoming move to Ferrari recently. While the move came as a surprise to Rosberg, he doesn’t see any fault in it. Having known Hamilton personally, Rosberg is aware of how big a fan Hamilton is of Ferrari’s road cars.

Hence, Rosberg doesn’t see why Hamilton shouldn’t get to experience what it is like to drive for Ferrari in F1. Furthermore, the former #6 driver claimed that it was a jump from one legendary team to another, and that was totally fine. 

Looking forward to things not becoming too spicy between Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, Rosberg hopes his former rival and friend can return to winning ways with the Italian outfit.

When Michael Schumacher came out of retirement in 2010, his primary aim was to help a newly formed Mercedes find its feet in F1. Defeating a dominant Red Bull team was not Mercedes’ aim, and there was no way Schumacher could get the better of Sebastian Vettel on the track. Unable to overtake Vettel during a Grand Prix race, Schumacher joked about out-pacing the Red Bull driver on a different mode of transport.

Ahead of the 2011 Canadian GP, the drivers took to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve track to get a feel of the surface, as is tradition. Championship leader Sebastian Vettel opted to go around the track with his team on foot but Schumacher chose to ride a buggy. Schumacher, who knew he could never defeat his young compatriot on the track, went ahead of him and said, 

“At least I can overtake you once this weekend.”

A humored Vettel shook Vettel’s hand and replied,

“Let’s keep it that way.”

Vettel and Schumacher shared a brief time in the paddock together and were on opposing teams throughout. Still, they share a close friendship, largely due to Vettel idolizing the seven-time world champion and the latter playing a significant role in mentoring him on his journey to becoming an F1 driver.

Even outside of F1, the German drivers hung out with each other. Their families would even meet up for vacations and dinners, allowing their bond to grow stronger. As such, when news of Schumacher’s tragic accident in 2013 broke out, Vettel was heartbroken, especially because of their final conversation before.

Since suffering a near-fatal accident while skiing in France in 2013, Schumacher has been under intense care and hasn’t made a public appearance. Speaking to a German channel (quoted by Mirror), Vettel admitted it was difficult for him to see what Schumacher went through.

Vettel revealed what his last conversation with the former Ferrari driver was about. It was particularly emotional because Vettel shared huge news about his personal life with his mentor and idol.

“The first thoughts immediately went to the last conversation we had together, and that couldn’t be more positive. I told him that I was going to be a father and what was coming for us.”

In hindsight, the former Red Bull driver feels happy that he was able to share the news with Schumacher. Getting to know each other more and more before the accident, Vettel claimed they understood they had more in common than just racing. However, with life in general revolving around the racing realm, Vettel continues to miss his friend.

Mercedes denied Lewis Hamilton an exclusive brand ambassador role last year and experts believe it to be one of the reasons behind the seven-time world champion’s decision to move to Ferrari. Despite this, Hamilton is doing his diligent duty as a Mercedes driver, and using all his fame to promote the latest car from the German manufacturer.

Hamilton, no stranger to Mercedes cars and its silver color, appeared on a photo shoot with the company’s latest Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ recently. As seen in a post by Mercedes AMG’s official Instagram account, the Briton stood by the four-door supercar donning a chequered blue and white jacket paired up with white sneakers.

The AMG GT 63 Coupe comes with a 4.0 Litre V8 bi-turbo engine that pumps out 630 horsepower and has a Speedshift MCT 9-speed transmission. It goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds. As of 2023, the car comes with a price tag of $170,350.

The post comes as a surprise as Hamilton seemed to have agreed to promote the car despite their bad blood last year. Needless to say, this caused a rift between him and the team, which ultimately led the seven-time world champion to choose the best option available to him.

John Elkann, the president of Ferrari, took advantage of this situation and lured the British driver to Maranello for 2025 and beyond. Hamilton is all set to move to the Prancing Horse after agreeing to a mammoth $435 million multi-year deal, which includes the same ambassadorial role.

The shift in dynamic after Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari

Lewis Hamilton’s sudden decision to move to Ferrari next year came as a surprise to many as the Mercedes man agreed to cut off his 12-year-long ties with the Silver Arrows that started back in 2013.

What baffled the F1 experts and fans more was that the shocking move arrived despite the 39-year-old’s repeated admission to finish his career at Brackley. That too after agreeing on a two-year deal till the end of 2025, just six months before his Ferrari switch.

Nevertheless, Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari next year to race alongside Charles Leclerc is final. Going by the specifications provided by Sportune, the #44 driver will take home a salary of $87 million, including an extra $20 million for his foundation. However, F1 journalist Vincenzo Landino claimed that the yearly payment for Hamilton is around $100 million.

Apparently, Hamilton managed to convince Elkann to fund his Mission 44 initiative as well as take up the much talked about brand ambassador role for the Italian giants post his retirement. All in all, it is a befitting reply to Toto Wolff and Mercedes, who did not fulfill the Briton’s demands.

Before the start of the 2024 season, Lando Norris reportedly rejected Red Bull in favor of staying at McLaren. The British driver was due to run out of a contract at the end of 2025 as part of his previous deal. However, before a heavily-interested Red Bull team could draw up an official offer, the Bristol-born driver signed an extension with the Woking-based outfit.

Red Bull is the most dominant team in F1 today and is considered to be a seat that drivers find difficult to turn down. Former driver Jolyon Palmer, meanwhile, explained why he wasn’t surprised with Norris’ decision to do so, per his column on F1’s website.

“As tempting as a Red Bull seat would be, the way that Pierre Gasly, Alex Albon, and Sergio Perez have been annihilated by Verstappen would make anyone think twice about joining a team so galvanised around a superstar driver.”

Following a strong end to 2023, McLaren continues to improve with a stable driver lineup in Norris and Oscar Piastri. The pace of their car is consistently improving and the drivers are starting to challenge for more and more podium finishes. However, a race win still feels far away. 

Max Verstappen and Red Bull continue to lead in that department thanks to the RB20’s superiority compared to other challengers on the grid. Aside from a mechanical failure in Australia, the Dutch driver remains unbeaten in all four races this year, taking his points tally to a staggering 110. 

While the current ground-effect rules greatly benefit the Red Bull car, there are chances of the Milton Keynes-based outfit losing their advantage once the regulation changes kick in in 2026. Aside from that, other elements might also make Lando Norris‘ decision look like a smart move.

Red Bull’s increasing problems could be a great sign for Lando Norris

Intra-team turmoil has been haunting Red Bull throughout 2024. Some of the team’s biggest names are reportedly unhappy and are looking to leave the Milton-Keynes-based team. Rumors suggest that Adrian Newey is looking to step away from Red Bull as well. Should that happen, Verstappen and Helmut Marko could choose to head elsewhere too. 

Furthermore, McLaren was able to secure the services of key members from Ferrari and Red Bull, strengthening their charge for 2024 and beyond. 

Hence, if stability remains strong within McLaren, the team could soon become a strong contenders for the World Championship. Before that happens, however, they will have to become a team that will compete for race wins. This is something Lando Norris is desperately waiting for.
