KIM Kardashian and Kanye West’s turbulent relationship has seen little improvement since their nasty divorce almost three years ago.
Now a psychologist has lifted the lid on their spats over their seven-year marriage and warned that Kanye’s “better parent” antics must be contained for good.

Kanye returned to Instagram on Monday after a long hiatus.
The 46-year-old rapper also showed up at a basketball game in Los Angeles with wife Bianca Censori, 28, and his kids in tow.
Kanye’s latest appearances came after he ranted about Kim, 43, during a rave on December 15 for his upcoming album release.
“Kim, this is what you been waiting for, ” he shouted angrily in Las Vegas.
Psychologist Dr. Danielle McGraw, Ph.D. — who has not treated Kanye — suggested the music producer displayed “traits of narcissism.”
“Kanye’s rant showed narcissistic traits and contained statements of grandiosity, entitlement, and aggression,” she told The U.S. Sun.
“There may be an inability to empathize or consider other’s needs.
“These traits can make co-parenting difficult.
“This and other attacks on Kim seem to reflect Kanye’s desire to appear to be the better parent.
“It is never advised to knock the other parent down in front of the children or, in this case, on a public platform.”
The feuding couple has not been able to see eye to eye since their divorce kicked off in 2021.
Before Kim and Kanye split up their family, warning signals were already there.
In 2013, Kim told Fabulous magazine: “We live different lives, but I love being open.
“That’s who I’ve always been. That will never change because that is who I am.”
On Kim’s admission, McGraw said: “Living different lives does not lead to a successful marriage.
“If Kim and Kanye were living different lives, it is not surprising they got divorced in the end.”
KIDS & COUNTING
After dating in 2012 and marrying in 2014, Kim and Kanye disagreed over the number of kids they would have.
By 2013 Kim had given birth to North, now 10 — with Saint, 8, Chicago, 5, and, Psalm, 4, following soon after.
Kanye said he wanted to add to his brood with his reality star wife.
In 2018, he told the president of Uganda: “I would like to have seven.”
Kim responded: “I would not like to have seven.”

Kim struggled with health issues during her first two pregnancies. She had her third and fourth kids via surrogates.
“This was a situation that could cause long-term resentment,” McGraw said.
“This would be if Kanye prioritized what he wanted over Kim’s health and well-being.
“It is possible that this caused plenty of issues throughout their marriage.”
BAND-AID BLOWUP
In a 2018 Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode, Kim revealed that her husband was mad at her for giving him the wrong type of Band-Aid.
The mom-of-four said: “He said I should have a skin-colored Band-Aid. So I’m running around looking for different colored Band-Aids when I’ve got three kids to look after?”

McGraw said: “This is one example of multiple of Kanye having very specific wants and not considering others needs.
“He clearly did not understand Kim or take time to see that she had more important tasks to deal with.”
MUGLER MOMENT
In 2019, Kim had a latex dress made for her by the fashion designer Thierry Mugler for the Met Gala.
The flimsy creation showed off the Hulu star’s breasts while making her waist look slimmer.
Kanye told Kim to cover them and said her dress was “too sexy.”

During another KUWTK episode, Kim said: “So the night before the Met, you’re gonna come in here and say that you’re not into a corset bust?
“I’m getting really bad anxiety. What are you talking about?
“I don’t need any more negative energy for you to now say that you’re not into me in a tight dress.”
Talking about Kim showing her body, Kanye said: “I didn’t realize that that was affecting my soul and my spirit as someone that’s married and loved.”
According to McGraw: “When he married Kim, she had a long history of risky fashion choices.
“So for Kanye to suddenly have an issue with it is not healthy relationship behavior.”
WEST RULES
Kim once said that Kanye had banned them from using mobile phones whenever they were out having meals together.
By 2017 he was also masterminding how she looked and just after they moved into their renovated Hidden Hills mansion.
During a KUWTK episode, Kim said: “My husband loves me without make-up so,” before adding: “I would wear make-up 24/7 if I could, but he likes me without it.”
Then came Kanye’s styling efforts where she recalled he told her she had the worst taste.
“He was really nice about it and cleaned out my whole closet,” she told W Magazine in 2018 before admitting he made her cry.

McGraw said: “Criticism in a relationship is one communication pitfall that can lead to divorce.
“Kanye telling Kim she had bad style and throwing out her clothes is criticism and contempt.
“This would not feel good.”
AT ODDS
When the couple divorced, it was reported that Kanye would not cooperate at times and through their co-parenting arrangements.
In 2022, Ye told Good Morning America: “I do have a voice, but I had to fight for it.
“That hurts you when you have to scream about what your kids are wearing. It was all a disregard for something I co-created. I co-created the children.”

McGraw said: “Based on what has been said about the couple, it seems unlikely that Kanye had to fight for a voice.
“Kim was probably able to set boundaries with Kanye and not allow him to control and gaslight her.
“Here, Kim would have just been asserting independence.”
LAST LAUGH
Kanye’s attitude toward Kim started to change when she began dating comedian Pete Davidson.
In October 2021, he called her his wife and said he wanted her back. Kanye even showed up to support her SNL hosting.
Several now-deleted Instagram posts followed which attacked 30-year-old Pete — whom Kanye called “Skete.”

McGraw added: “It seemed more likely that Kanye’s ego was bruised.
“Kim chose someone else over him, which was apparent in his attacks on Pete.”
GOING NORTH
By February 2022, Kanye was criticizing Kim’s parenting over North going on TikTok.
The rapper shared an alleged text message conversation with Kim’s cousin.
He told Hollywood Unlocked: “My children ain’t going to be on TikTok without my permission.” His posts were deleted.

McGraw said: “To say North can’t be on TikTok without his permission seems like another attempt to control.
“My best advice for Kanye and Kim is to learn how to co-parent properly.
“While they do not always have to get along, it would be most helpful to respect one another.
“Kanye needs to allow flexibility for Kim so she can parent in her way.
“This means giving Kim the freedom, for example, to dress her children how she wants to.”
McGraw continued: “Trying to control the other parent never ends well.
“Putting differences aside to be able to remain civil is important now.
“They must come to agreements that prioritize the children’s well-being.
“On Kanye’s recent rant, I would advise him to not make these types of comments at all, especially publicly. ”
