Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk‘s undisputed heavyweight fight later this month has been immortalised in a bespoke handmade timepiece.

The Gypsy King meets the Ukrainian in Riyadh on May 18, following the postponement of their initial February date.

The clash could see one of the fighters crowned the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the world since Lennox Lewis in 1999.

And to mark the momentous occasion, watch makers Jacob & Co. – in collaboration with design studio Big Time Creative Shop, which is owned by General Entertainment Authority, a government department responsible for bringing global events to the Gulf State – has handed each fighter their their own unique timepiece.

In addition, a third watch will be auctioned by Sotheby’s to raise money for Make-A-Wish International, an international children’s charity that grants wishes to kids living with a critical illness.

The ‘Ring of Fire’ watches have been designed in tribute to the boxers, with each including figurines of the pair as well as red and blue boxing gloves.

As anticipation builds for the dual, Fury and his family arrived in Saudi Arabia this week. After a seven-hour flight from the UK, The Gypsy King and his entourage were welcomed with bouquets of flowers and hot drinks.

The initial clash with Usyk had been scheduled to take place in Riyadh on February 17, but was postponed after Fury sustained an injury during camp.

He suffered a severe cut above his right eye while sparring, which has been labelled by his promotion team as a ‘freak cut’.

Fighters have promised to forfeit $10m (£8m) if they pulled out of the fight.

Last month, Usyk’s promoter Alexander Krassyuk has revealed fears Tyson Fury will withdraw from next month’s undisputed world heavyweight title fight.

Krassyuk told Boxing Scene he still has doubts that Fury will step into the ring with Usyk next month, claiming the Gypsy King has already withdrawn four times from the fight.

‘Usyk has actually had a triple camp for this fight,’ Krassyuk said. ‘He started in September for the fight to take place last December.

‘We showed up to the Ngannou fight to step in the ring to announce the fight for the undisputed, but his team jumped and said he didn’t look that good, so Usyk gave him some space to prepare at his camp in Saudi Arabia.

‘We were then meant to fight on Feb. 17, then we were rescheduled for May. Tyson Fury has withdrawn four times already from this fight.

‘I’ve not got too much confidence in the rematch happening, by the way. If Tyson Fury loses, will he have the confidence to step inside the ring again? Theoretically he can, but we all know what happened in the rematch with Wladimir Klitschko.’

Tyson Fury needs a NUTRITIONIST to ‘step in’ after revealing shock new-look before facing off with Oleksandr Usyk in undisputed heavyweight title fight, warns Carl Froch

Carl Froch has voiced his concern over Tyson Fury‘s significant weight loss ahead of the Gypsy King’s showpiece clash with Oleksandr Usyk on May 18.

The Briton is due to meet his Ukrainian opponent at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh next week as they vye to become the undisputed world heavyweight champion.

Fury and Uysk were initially due to do battle in February of this year, but their long-awaited clash was postponed after the former sustained a nasty injury in training.

The additional preparation time appears to have only stoked Fury’s desire to come out on top, with the fighter repeatedly wowing fans with his body transformation in the build-up to the clash.

But former boxer Froch suggested that Fury’s obvious change in physique could come with a downside – even though the 35-year-old has likely been consuming around 6,000 calories a day.

‘When it gets on top for Fury, when he’s under pressure, he’s able to sit back, get hold of the back of his opponent’s neck, lean on him and use his body weight to get himself out of trouble.

‘If he’s losing weight and he’s slimmer, he could struggle. I’d like to see him perform at a slimmer weight.’

Froch went on to state that he wondered if a nutritionist should intervene to ensure that Fury doesn’t slim down past the necessary point.

‘Fury’s upped the training, he’s upped the diet a bit more,’ the ex-super middleweight added. ‘He’s eating more healthily and the weight’s just falling off.

‘His body and the way it looks is a product of his training camp.

‘So maybe the nutritionist needs to step in and say, right, get some more red meat down here. Get some more protein down you and do some weight resistance exercises.

‘I think he needs the muscle on now though. He needs to be bulking up muscle.’

Fury – who weighed in above his last opponent Francis Ngannou in October 2023 at a career-heaviest 277.7lbs – has previously stated that he believes his size gives him an additional advantage in the ring.

‘I actually embrace being fat because my love handles separate me from the rest of the world, ever in history. There’s never been anyone like me and there never will be,’ the fighter told Mail Sport in October.

‘That’s what makes me so tough and that’s what makes me, me. If you said to me, “Right Tyson, we will give you the opportunity to get rid of the fat on you and we will give you a full six pack,” I wouldn’t take it because that’s not me.

‘I am fat now, I was fat as a baby and I will be fat on my death bed. We’re all fat. Hughie is fat, Shane’s fat, my dad’s fat and even my mum’s fat. I hope she’s not watching this. But, we’re a fat family.

‘He trains every day, my brother Hughie, like unbelievable. He’ll run, train, box. I am the same. Two-three times a day, in or out of camp but I’ve always been fat. Even when I got down to 17stone, like this, I still had love handles. It’s my trademark for sure.’

Froch agreed, adding: ‘One of the main advantages Fury has over Usyk is his size.’

‘And if he’s going to bring that size down, he then has to rely on his speed and his movement and his boxing ability.

Jake Paul fires back at KSI and names 'biggest difference' between him and Mike Tyson

Jake Paul has fired back at KSI’s criticism of his fight against Mike Tyson.

Paul will face Tyson on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in a fight that will have a specific set of rules.

After the shock announcement, fans spotted an interesting detail in the fight poster.

UFC boss Dana White slammed the booking while Eddie Hearn pulled no punches as he shared his honest thoughts.

KSI also poked fun at Paul taking on Tyson.

And the social media star continued to take aim at Paul vs. Tyson, asking ‘The Problem Child’ if he’ll fight Muhammad Ali next.

On the IMPAULSIVE podcast, KSI said: “Honestly, I just think it’s sad, bro.

“I think it’s super sad. I don’t know why Jake took it. It’s a lose-lose. Literally, he knocks out Mike Tyson and he’s beaten what, and OAP? Old-Age-Person… He’s 57. Mike Tyson is 57 years old. Yes, in his prime, this would have been crazy. But now it’s like, this is just sad.”

The 30-year-old added: “I guess because legacy is my thing, I just feel like for Jake Paul, his legacy is going to be, ‘He can knock out old people’.

“What’s next though? Who is he going to fight next, Muhammad Ali? Is he going to dig him up?!”

Paul has reacted angrily to KSI’s taunt, revealing the difference between his rival and his upcoming opponent.

Jake Paul responds to KSI’s criticism about him fighting Mike Tyson 🤬 “You wanna know the difference between Mike Tyson and KSI? Mike Tyson will actually fight me. Who’s a b*tch now?”

He said: “You wanna know the difference between Mike Tyson and KSI? It’s that Mike Tyson will actually fight me. So who’s a bitch now? ‘Oh, Mike’s this, Mike’s that’, but Mike signed the contract you f**king b*tch KSI.”

Paul and KSI have been linked to fight each other over the years, but nothing has materialised.

The American, who scored a big win over Ryan Bourland earlier this month, will instead look to claim the biggest scalp of his boxing career when he takes on Tyson.

Logan Paul reveals real reason why he turned down Mike Tyson fight unlike brother Jake Paul

Logan Paul has revealed how he thinks a fight between him and Mike Tyson would go, following the announcement that his brother Jake Paul would be taking on the former heavyweight champion later this year.

The announcement of the fight was made last week and the news sent shockwaves through the combat sports world.

One of the more notable details of the fight reveal was the involvement of Netflix, who will stream the event from the AT&T stadium on the 20th of July.

This marks Netflix’s first foray into streaming combat sports events, adding to its repertoire as it expands beyond traditional entertainment content.

Following the announcement, both Jake Paul and Mike Tyson have received their fair share of backlash with the huge age difference being the main cause for concern for boxing fans.

When the pair step into the ring Tyson will be 31 years Paul’s senior a never-before-seen age disparity at this level of the sport.

Paul’s brother Logan has also recently revealed his thoughts on the bout, and defended his brother’s decision due to the financial rewards of agreeing to the event.

“For both Mike and Jake… The bag (payday), I mean at what point can you say no,” Paul said speaking on his podcast Impaulsive.

However, Paul also revealed he had also had the chance to step in the ring with ‘Iron Mike’ but turned down the opportunity.

“I said no to fighting Mike Tyson, I mean I was offered yeah I was offered but not on Netflix, and not for a big a** bag. It was just like you know this could be a real fight,” Paul sensationally revealed.

The Prime co-owner also had his say on how a fight with Tyson would play out, with the 28-year-old very confident in his chances, despite only winning one of his four fights due to disqualification.

“I’ve been asked before and I’m sure you have to (KSI) whether you think you can beat Mike Tyson and my answer was and will be yes, I just think he’s too old bro, he’s senile,” Paul argued.

It is unknown when Logan will step back into the ring following his victory against Dillon Danis, but it is expected if there is a second MISFIT’s Prime card Paul would be involved.

Amir Khan has sent a warning to Jake Paul as the former professional boxer has held nothing back when reacting to the shocking news Mike Tyson would be facing the YouTuber turned-boxer.

The announcement of the fight came last week and sent shockwaves through the combat sports community as the unprecedented bout was confirmed.

The event will be shown live on Netflix, with the streaming giant set to broadcast the event from the AT&T Stadium on July 20th.

The controversial fight has divided those in the boxing world, and former lightweight unified champion Amir Khan is the latest to make a comment on the matter.

Speaking to Gambling Zone, the 37-year-old said: “The fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, wow, no one would have ever expected a fight like that fight to be made. Mike Tyson is a legend of the game and not someone who you want to mess about with, even though he’s older now and has been retired for a long time, he’s obviously done a few exhibitions.”

While many have criticised Paul for taking a fight with a nearly 60-year-old while he is in his physical prime, Khan has taken the opposing view and sent a brutal warning to the YouTube star.

“I just feel that he can really hurt Jake Paul. I just can’t believe what Jake Paul’s thinking. He’s fighting a heavyweight great and I think he can get hurt badly,” Khan explained.

“Is it just hype with Mike and Jake posting it at the same? This is unreal and I hope that Mike doesn’t end up hurting him because at the end of the day, I like Jake, but Mike is not a person you want to mess with or do an exhibition with, especially when you’re a lot smaller and lighter.

“I don’t know how this is going to go. Is it really going to happen? It amazes me and I’m shocked.

“I’ve got Mike Tyson winning by knockout. Even though he’s in his fifties, he’s still a dangerous guy not to be messed with,” The Brit reiterated.

“Whether you’re tuning in on Netflix or showing out in person, whether you’re team Paul or team Tyson, or whether you’re a lifelong boxing fan or watching your first fight, you’re not going to want to miss this event.”

He added: “My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion of the world, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. Time to put Iron Mike to sleep.”

Chuck Liddell has predicted how Mike Tyson and Jake Paul’s upcoming fight will play out.

Tyson, 57, is set to return to the ring for the first time since 2020 to fight YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Iron Mike last competed in an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. four years ago, while his last professional contest came back in 2005.

Tyson, who will be 58 three weeks before the Paul fight, became the youngest heavyweight champion in history at 20 in just his 28th professional fight. He had won 26 of them by knockout.

He went on to become the first heavyweight boxer to simultaneously hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles in 1987.

Meanwhile, Paul enters the fight fresh from having beaten Ryan Bourland in his 10th professional bout.

Ahead of the encounter, UFC legend Liddell claimed that despite the age difference Tyson was likely to be far too powerful for his counterpart.

“As soon as Tyson hits him, it’s over,” Liddell told TMZ. “The last thing to go is power.”

“If he hits him, it’s over. If you’ve seen Mike, he still hits.”

Liddell then sent an ominous warning to ‘The Problem Child’: “Hey Jake, keep covered up, man.”

Nevertheless, Paul announced the fight by claiming he was going to knock Tyson out.

He said on X: “My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion of the world, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. Time to put Iron Mike to sleep.”

Paul has won nine of his 10 boxing fights, mostly of which have been against former UFC fighters.

His sole defeat came against British heavyweight Tommy Fury back in February 2023.
