Victoria Beckham’s Instagram account has been hacked — by her husband David Beckham!

On Saturday, May 11, the soccer star, 49, posted a video and photo on his beauty mogul wife’s account, taking her millions of followers through his morning routine, which featured a cleanser, serum and moisturizer from Victoria’s eponymous beauty brand.

“THE DAVID BECKHAM MORNING SKINCARE ROUTINE,” the caption of the video began.

“My wife recently launched a cleansing duo, I like to use the @VictoriaBeckhamBeauty DAILY LACTIC ACID GEL CLEANSER. I then follow this by combining the @VictoriaBeckhamBeauty POWER SERUM with the @VictoriaBeckhamBeauty PRIMING MOISTURISER,” David, 49, continued. “That’s my skincare routine … how did I do @VictoriaBeckham? 😘 – DB x.”

The businessman, who was shirtless in the video, explained that Victoria, 50, nudges him about keeping up with his skincare.

“So, my wife will be very happy right now because I’m about to do the Victoria Beckham daily lactic acid gel cleanser,” David began narrating the video. “She’s always trying to get me to cleanse my face so… why not?”

The athlete said the product “smells good” and “feels good.”

“Let’s see how good it looks, or how good I look,” he continued, before washing the cleanser off of his face.

David joked that Victoria will probably tell him he didn’t leave the cleanser on long enough before saying that he actually does mix his wife’s serum with her moisturizer product and put it on his face every day.

“It makes a huge difference, especially when you’ve been traveling.” he said as he was applying the mixture.

He raved that his wife’s brand has “the best products,” before joking that the serum and moisturizer mixture “also doubles up as hand cream.”

“That will probably get edited out,” he joked with a cheeky smile.

A second post on Victoria’s Instagram grid featured a photo of David shirtless and laughing as he looked away from the camera while holding the Victoria Beckham Beauty products.

Victoria Beckham took to her Instagram on Sunday to wish all mothers living in the United States a happy Mother’s Day.

The 50-year-old fashion designer uploaded a sweet snap of herself and her four children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, whom she shares with former footballer David Beckham.

In the sweet tribute post, Victoria can be seen in high spirits as she posed with her four children amongst an extravagantly decorated table.

David Beckham was notably missing from the sweet snap, however, he previously addressed her as one of the ‘most amazing Mummy’s’ in his life when they celebrated UK Mother’s Day in March.

It comes after Nicola Peltz truly cemented the end of her ‘feud’ with mother-in-law Victoria last month as she issued a sweet message to the star.

As the Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer turned 50, she was greeted with a slew of incredibly sweet messages from family, friends and fans alike.

One stand-out message came from Victoria’s eldest son Brooklyn’s actress wife Nicola, 29, who wed the superstar offspring, 25, in 2022, in which she once again silenced rumours of ill-feeling between the pair.

Nicola penned: ‘Happy birthday to my beautiful mil @victoriabeckham i love you so much and love being your dance partner forever’, to which Victoria swiftly responded: ‘Love you so much!!!!! Xxxxxxx kisses xxxxxxx’.

Rumours of fall out between the American beauty and Victoria emerged after Nicola’s multi-million dollar wedding in April 2022.

Whispers of ructions launched when it was claimed that Nicola refused to wear one of Victoria’s eponymous designs – instead opting for various designs from Valentino, Christian Dior and Versace.

As the wedding plans were underway, insiders alleged Victoria was displeased with Nicola’s reluctance to involve her in the plans for the lavish affair.

It was claimed the Beckhams’ took a backseat on the big day – leading to yet more fury from Victoria, with a source telling Daily Mail: ”The top table was all Peltzs and it really felt as though the Beckhams were not at the forefront…

‘There was a feeling that the wedding was all about the Peltz family, as you can imagine, as it was their house and their daughter and their son making the speeches.’

Nicola later confirmed the rumours had begun after she didn’t wear Victoria’s design. While she denied there was a ‘feud’, she explained that Victoria’s atelier simply hadn’t had time to make the dress, as she insisted: ‘No family is perfect.’

Nicola said: ‘It’s not a feud! I keep seeing everywhere that word, ‘feud, feud, feud!?’ I mean, maybe they picked up on something? And now they’re labelling it feud?’

‘I think it all started, and I’ve said this before, because I didn’t end up wearing Victoria’s wedding dress, but the real truth is, I really, really wanted to wear it and I thought it was so beautiful that Brooklyn’s mom got to make that for me!…

‘And I was really excited to wear it! And I didn’t end up wearing it. But I, truthfully, was really excited to wear her dress. It makes me sad when I read things that people say I was never planning on wearing it. That’s just not true.’

Nicole and Brooklyn were hardly seen with the Beckham family in the months following, however, they have since continually quashed any speculation of a row.

In an interview with Byrdie magazine, Nicola opened up about the importance of family, as she gushed over her ‘strong support system’. She told the publication: ‘Family is everything to me, and I mean that with my whole heart…

‘It honestly makes me so happy to wake up and have my siblings around. It’s really hard to get us all in the same place because there are so many of us. When we’re all together, it’s so fun.’

Nicola went on to say she felt ‘inspired’ by David and Victoria’s 25-year marriage, as well as her parents’ own 40-year union. She said: ‘Anyone who has been married for a long time, it’s such a beautiful thing,’ she says.

David Beckham admits he and wife Victoria questioned how their marriage survived after watching Netflix documentary: ‘I don’t know how we got through the last 27 years’

David said: ‘That’s one of the things we both, me and Victoria, probably both get emotional about, and after watching the documentary after everything was over and we watched it finally, that’s the one thing that we looked at each other and was like, “I don’t know how we got through the last 27 years, but we did and we have an amazing family, amazing business and we’re happy.”

‘And yeah, of course, when you’re with someone for that amount of time, of course you have your ups and downs, everybody knows that and at the end of the day we were lucky because we had each other at those moments.

‘You know, she was a Spice Girl, I was playing for Manchester United, and even when we were going through the difficult times, we actually had each other to feed off and that was the best part.

‘Obviously we were 21 and 22 when we met. We got married when we was 23 and 24 and we had our first son when I was 23, so as soon as we had our first son, Brooklyn, that also added another layer to the family and our responsibilities then were to our son.’

David told the latest edition of the SmartLess podcast, which goes on general release on Monday, May 20, that he is ‘so happy’ at where his life is now.

David is busy pursuing his business interests with fashion and beauty brands as well as being part-owner and President of MLS football club Inter Miami after a glittering career as a player.

He explained: ‘I’m so happy. I am very happy because I feel very blessed to have had the career that I’ve had and played for the teams that I have and experienced that.

‘And the one thing that I always wanted for me, I was lucky I met Victoria when I met her because I always wanted to have kids young.

‘I always wanted to have kids that lived through my career with me and I was lucky the three boys all lived through most of the teams that I played for and that, for me, was a really important part of my life.’

David was asked on the podcast – hosted by Hollywood actors Jason Bateman, Sean Haye and Will Arnett – about his recent Netflix documentary series, with Ozark star Jason asking him what part he was most excited for people to learn about him.

He said: 'The one thing that we looked at each other and was like, "I don't know how we got through the last 27 years, but we did and we have an amazing family, amazing business and we're happy" - L-R Brooklyn, Harper, Cruz, Victoria, Romeo

He replied: ‘To be honest I was nervous about the whole thing, you know? When I retired eight years before, or 10 years before, it was actually 10 years, they wanted me to do it there and then and I wasn’t actually ready to look back, I was ready to jump into something else, which was the club in Miami.

‘But then about two years out from my 10-year retirement anniversary, we started to discuss and talk about it and think, “OK, maybe this is the right time.”

‘In all honesty, one of the reasons why I wanted to do the documentary was for my family. I wanted them to have something all in one place for them to watch and for them to look back and reminisce. And that’s what really we created.

‘You know, there was a hell of a story there from the upbringing, to the different clubs that I played for, to the ups and the downs and my career was always kind of a rollercoaster, but obviously I was very lucky to be as successful as I was because of the team that I played for and the team-mates that I had.

‘In all honesty, I’m shocked with the reaction to the documentary, I can’t believe the reaction that we’ve had to the documentary.’

Meanwhile, in a fun revelation in the interview, East End London-born David also revealed he has been teaching his only daughter Harper, 12, Cockney rhyming slang.

‘Of course, since it’s French, a lot of butter,’ the star said letting two little squared pieces of butter in the heated pan.

Once it was fully melted, he added the mixed eggs to the pan, and then proceeded to gently mix it with a silicone ladle.

Referencing one of his inspirations, he said: ‘I learnt this from chef Ludo, one of my favourite chefs.’

Brooklyn referred the Michelin-star French chef and restaurateur Ludo Lefebvre.

‘Don’t judge me, well, of course you do!,’ the aspiring chef said before adding very bluntly: ‘Everyone is always like: ‘Oh Brooklyn thinks he’s a professional chef”

‘I’m not a professional chef at all. I just love cooking.’

Once the mix was cooked he pushed it from the edges and then gently folded it.

The former model proceeded to move the omelette on a plate and admitted: ‘Is not bad for not doing it in so long.’

The son of David and Victoria Beckham added a tiny piece of butter to massage it around the hot omelette, added a pinch of salt and pepper.

The gourmet touch came as the last but not least, as Brooklyn added a chunky piece of the expensive seafood on top of the omelette and ultimately sprinkled with tiny pieces of chives.

‘I’ll tell you what, that is not a bad looking French omelette. Let me know what you guys think,’ he said before proceeding to have a bit of his own creation and showing a satisfied grin.

Fans took inspiration from his cooking tutorial and stormed his TikTok post with comments.

One said: ‘Looks banging to be fair.’

    ‘Super relatable content bro’; ‘I love Brooklyn! He seems such a lovely, humble lad. He’s only playing the cards he’s dealt, and making best of himself. He comes from such a lovely, down to earth family ❤️’;

‘I was wondering what to do with that caviar I had rolling round in the back of the cupboard, I think there might even be two’; ‘Add black truffle and drizzle a tad of rosemary oil and a glass of champagne! my fave breakie’.

Just earlier last month Brooklyn got a grilling from his followers after he whipped up a burger and fries in another cooking tutorial.

The budding chef secured a sponsored advertising deal with Chosen Foods but fans joked: ‘I’ve heard McDonalds are hiring’.

Brooklyn said: ‘Today I’m making a Flying Dutchman. You first start off with grounding your meat, then we cut up some potatoes. Next up is the onion. Two similar sizes so it can be replaced by the bun.’

The star then filled a saucepan with ‘pure avocado oil’, which costs £21 a bottle, fried the potato chips off, tossed them with salt after draining before moving on to the burgers before plating up.

Brooklyn got plenty of critique from eagle-eyed followers who took umbrage with processed cheese slices and ‘the wrong type of potato’.

They wrote: ‘No not the processed cheese slices’ and ‘Not the right kind of potato to make fries.’

‘What has life come to. I’m watching Brooklyn Beckham try to cook a burger’.

Others joked he could work in McDonalds, the fast food chain with his meal which was similar to one offered at the chain restaurant.

Followers joked: ‘I heard McDonalds are hiring’ and ‘He could get a job at McDonald’s’.

‘You just made burger and chips’, said another.

Others were impressed with Brooklyn’s cooking skills with one telling him he cooks like his father, David.

Another wrote: ‘Good for you Brooklyn, you’re a lovely young man.’

His dad David also jumped to his defence as he took to his Instagram Story writing: ‘My boy just love to cook. Just like his dad. Burger was sooooo good Bust’.  But Victoria argued: ‘He gets it from me!!’

Brooklyn’s cooking has come under fire in the past as many have slammed either his simple recipes, use of pricey ingredients or bandied around accusations of nepotism.

In a new interview with Insider, Brooklyn insisted he is not fazed by the criticism as he knows himself he is ‘working his bum off’ and ‘cooking makes him happy’.

He said: ‘To be honest, I’m used to the hate. It doesn’t really bother me. Cooking makes me happy. I have more important things to worry about than people saying a little bit of rubbish about me… I’m doing my thing and working my bum off’.

‘I’m gonna be king again’ Tyson Fury interview showed prediction came true with Oleksandr Usyk his next big obstacle

Few believed Tyson Fury would even make it to the ring when he first announced his boxing comeback, let alone become world champion once again.

The Gypsy King famously dethroned Wladimir Klitschko in 2015, but it soon all came crashing down as he suffered from serious mental health issues and spiralled into drink and drugs binges, ultimately vacating his belts as a result.

After a period in the boxing wilderness, Fury first revealed he was intending to return in March 2017, having addressed his mental health issues, and started a weight loss journey which saw him finally fight again in June 2018 after a two-and-a-half year absence.

A remarkable interview from midway through this process in November 2017 shows the Gypsy King successfully predicted exactly how his comeback would play out.

Fury told iFL TV at the time: “If I’ve been through it and overcome it, to get back to where I am today, then anybody can.

“Because I was as low as anybody could go. I couldn’t go any lower, the next thing was suicide.

“But now I’m back, back on top, and I’m gonna be king of the world again, for the second time. This time no-one will be able to take it from me.

“Because what don’t kill you makes you stronger. I’ve got more fire burning inside than I did before. I want it more, there’s more pain involved.

“When they say you can’t have something it makes you want it even more.

“And when you’re told you’re gonna get banned for a long time, you want it more and more and more.

“And there’s not a man out there born from his mother that can beat the Gypsy King.

“Especially not a man with a pair of gloves on, in a boxing ring, with a referee, with judges.

“You haven’t just gotta overcome the size and the reach and the movement and all that.

“You’ve gotta overcome the burning passion inside never to lose a fight.

“The will, the determination, the drive of this individual.

“I don’t call it ‘Return of the Mack’ for nothing. I am the mack daddy of it all.

“It’s my throne that I never lost. I’m the king of that throne in the heavyweight division, the emperor, and I’m still here.

“They may have tried to shut me out in the cold, but I’m still here, I haven’t gone anywhere.

“My fans love me even more now than they did before, my popularity is on the up.

“Nothing can stop me or deter me away from my path.

“No-one can stop me on this mission back to the top.

“It’s a real life Rocky story. From zero to hero to zero back to hero again.”

Fury returned to the ring in 2018 with a couple of underwhelming fights against Sefer Seferi and Francesco Pianeta before leaping into a WBC world title clash against Deontay Wilder.

This bout ended in a controversial draw, which the Brit rectified by dramatically stopping the American in the subsequent two fights of their trilogy in 2020 and 2021.

He’s since defended his throne against Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora, and will now face Oleksandr Usyk to crown one true king of the division on May 18.

Time will tell if Fury’s prophecy will be completed.

  • The heavyweight bout between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury is certain to take place at Wembley Stadium, according to a Saudi powerbroker.

The heavyweight bout between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury is certain to take place at Wembley Stadium, according to a Saudi powerbroker.

In order to ultimately face off, Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury might agree to a two-fight deal. Eddie Hearn has revealed that Wembley Stadium might host one of the fights.

Joshua has now engaged in three fights in Saudi Arabia over the previous five, the most recent being an early-month victory over Francis Ngannou in just two rounds.

Furthermore, Fury and Ngannou recently fought in Saudi Arabia. He is expected to return in May for his much awaited fight with Oleksandr Usyk.

A victory for Fury may lead to a matchup with Joshua, but supporters are worried that the fight might not take place in the United Kingdom because Saudi powerbroker Turki Alalshikh can pay fighters a lot of money to compete in the Middle East.

Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, has expressed optimism that his client and Fury may meet in the UK and even stated that Alalshikh is looking into the possibility.

According to Eddie Hearn, Anthony Joshua may face Tyson Fury twice.

Fury has to get past Oleksandr Usyk first, but may then focus his attention on Joshua

Hearn claims that one of the fights may occur at Wembley Stadium.

Hearn stated on The Sports Agents podcast, “This is a gentleman named Turki Alalshikh, who is obviously a very influential figure in sports and entertainment in Saudi Arabia.”

He’s the greatest fight enthusiast I’ve ever encountered, too. Amazingly, he’s now discussing holding two fights between Fury and AJ: one in Saudi Arabia and one at Wembley Stadium.

Both Fury and Joshua have fought at Wembley previously, having had some of their greatest boxing performances at the storied arena.

In front of 90,000 spectators at Wembley in 2017, AJ overcame Wladimir Klitschko by coming off the canvas to halt the Ukrainian in the eleventh round in a back-and-forth battle.

The next year, he made a comeback and defeated Alexander Povetkin of Russia in the seventh round.

In 2022, Fury defeated fellow Brit Dillian Whyte at the national team stadium and repeated the victory.

Hearn asserted that Saudi powerbroker Turki Alalshikh (above) is in favor of starting one of the fights in the UK.

Hearn acknowledges that major bouts will inevitably continue to be staged in Saudi Arabia in the upcoming months and years, but he would love to bring a Joshua-Fury bout to Wembley and says Alalshikh is on board.

Hearn said, “He’s one of those guys that listens and reads everything,” in reference to Alalshikh.

“He has so undoubtedly seen statements such as “It’s a shame the fight is in Saudi Arabia” and “I wish this fight was at Wembley”.

“I mean, we really need to have a more global perspective in sports. Boxing is more than just two British guys fighting for the undisputed world title. I really believe he would bring one of them to the UK.” And that they are able to accomplish that financially.

Tony Bellew believes Anthony Joshua would knock out Tyson Fury if the two British heavyweights finally agreed to fight each other.

Joshua dispatched Francis Ngannou inside two rounds in Saudi Arabia earlier this month, and has now had three of his last five fights in the Middle Eastern country.

Fury also fought in Saudi Arabia last time out, beating Ngannou on points in October, and is set to return there in May for his undisputed heavyweight clash with Oleksandr Usyk.

A win for Fury could set up a fight against Joshua, a mouthwatering prospect for British boxing.

And Bellew believes Joshua’s recent performances would make him the clear favourite against Fury, who only beat Ngannou on points in the MMA star’s boxing debut.

Joshua has enjoyed a brilliant return to form, winning his last four consecutive fights

Fury will take on Oleksandr Usyk in an undisputed heavyweight clash in May

‘I believe he faces the winner of Tyson Fury v Oleksandr Usyk and if that is Fury who comes out as the winner and the undisputed champion, then Anthony Joshua knocks him out,’ Bellew told Spinbet.

‘I just think he will let his hands go and stop Fury. His power is ridiculous and he has once again proven how destructive he can be, it is scary.’

Joshua demolished Ngannou in Saudi Arabia two weeks ago, just four months after the former UFC heavyweight champion knocked down Fury and pushed him all the way before losing a razor-thin points decision.

But the 34-year-old delivered a dominant performance as he knocked down the MMA star twice and then finished him with a devastating right hand that left the Cameroonian-born star requiring medical attention.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn suggested earlier this week that his client and Fury could sign a two-fight deal to finally face each other, with one of the bouts potentially taking place at Wembley Stadium.

Joshua has now won his last four bouts since losing his rematch to Usyk by split decision two years ago, an emphatic return to form that has impressed Bellew.

‘You have to say well done to AJ because he is the one going out there and knocking these guys out,’ the former WBC cruiserweight champion said.

‘The job he did with Otto Wallin was absolutely clinical, it was a brilliant performance from start to finish.

‘The finish was ridiculous and then we cross over to the Francis Ngannou fight and everyone thinks he’s going to be in a world of trouble. I pretty much said it would be over within six rounds but what I did also say was that if it went past six rounds.’

Hearn feels Joshua has put himself back at the top of the heavyweight division, and admits even he was shocked by how easy the Brit made it look against Ngannou.

‘The comeback for Anthony Joshua is unbelievable. I’m talking about the mental comeback,’ Hearn, who is Joshua’s promoter, told iFL TV this month.

Eddie Hearn (left) believes Joshua is the best heavyweight in the division

One of the fights between Fury and Joshua could take place at Wembley Stadium, according to Hearn

‘I’m talking about the comeback from criticism. I’m talking about the comeback to form. Should he retire now, or is he the best heavyweight in the world? It’s one of the two.

‘So, what this guy has done to come back to the position he’s in is unbelievable. Like a broken man after the second Usyk fight, searching for answers, searching for form. He has worked so hard to find it.’

Bellew echoed Hearn’s stance, suggesting Joshua is mentally much stronger than he was even when he won his two world titles.

‘Anthony Joshua is in a place now where the mental fragility that he’s had placed on his name has now gone,’ he said.

‘There is no mental side anymore. He doesn’t have much to think about because Ben Davison has taken care of most of that. He knows he’s fit and can go and let his hands go.’

WBC chief Mauricio Sulaiman tells fans ‘don’t blame Tyson Fury’ for scrapped Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua fights and says why there is ‘no hurry’ for a mandatory contender

WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman has told fans not to blame Tyson Fury for the collapse of the Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua fights.

The boxing kingpin highlighted how it was not Fury’s fault that they fell apart and also explained why there is no urgency to find the world heavyweight champion a mandatory contender.

Fury is due to share a ring with Francis Ngannou in Riyadh on October 28 in a controversial crossover event with the MMA behemoth.

Fans have slammed the Gypsy King for confirming the Ngannou bout after dreaming of an undisupted face-off against Usyk, and the WBC belt will not be on the line in Saudi Arabia.

‘He is not fighting Oleksandr Usyk because he was not ready last December. Then they couldn’t do it in March and then they went their separate ways. Anthony Joshua – the same thing, so don’t blame Tyson Fury. He has been there and been there ready,’ Sulaiman told Gambling.com.

WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman has told fans ‘don’t blame Tyson Fury’ for the collapsed fights against Anthoyn Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk

Tyson Fury will not be risking his WBC world heavywieght belt when he fights Francis Ngannou

There had been hopes for Fury to take on either Oleksandr Usyk (left) or Anthony Joshua (right)

‘I love the event [between Fury and Francis Ngannou]. Those crossover events are giving the sport respect and doing it within the rules of boxing. Conor McGregor against Floyd Mayweather was a huge event and so will this. We are fine, respectful, and supporting our champion.’

A bout against Usyk would have crowned a first undisputed heavyweight champion since 2000, but the Ukrainian pulled out after weeks of negotiations.

With no mandatory contender, the decision to fight Ngannou for the time being has left some fans frustrated, but Sulaiman insisted that there is no hurry to find a mandatory challenger to Fury.

‘If you force the mandatory just for the sake of it, you are doing a disservice to the sport. We will not be rushing up a mandatory contender.

‘We had ordered Wilder vs Ruiz and the winner would have been a sensational mandatory contender and that fight did not take place. They are not participating in it so there is no mandatory contender. Fury is the best heavyweight without a doubt.

‘We would like to see Fury vs Usyk so we will not interfere in the plans to have a major showdown for all the belts so there is no hurry to find a mandatory contender and we will see what happens at the WBC convention.

‘Tyson Fury is the WBC heavyweight champion. He has been willing, able, and trying to fight Oleksandr Usyk, Anthony Joshua, Andy Ruiz Jr or anyone (available) and has not been able to land the fight that the fans would like to see.’

Speaking with Mail Sport, Ngannou said that training with Mike Tyson is preparing him mentally and technically

Boxing legend Tyson is helping Ngannou, but while Fury has huge respect for him, Fury still makes himself favourite for the fight

Ngannou has stepped up his preparation for the fight by bringing boxing legend Mike Tyson into his training team.

Speaking exclusively to Mail Sport’s Charlotte Daly, he said: ‘Having Mike Tyson present just makes you realise what is happening.

‘Even when you’re tired, even when you’re done for the day, I’m like man one more. I want to do one more. I’m like I just want to be like that man.

‘Then of course, there is the technical aspect that he is bringing too. We all know how technical Mike Tyson was so obviously having his tips and hearing from him is very helpful for me.’

But in another exclusive interview with Daly, Fury brushed off the suggestion that training with ‘living legend’ Tyson would bring Ngannou on an equal footing with him.

”Mike Tyson is a great guy,’ he said. ‘He is a living legend in sport. He is a living legend in boxing. He’s got a lot of knowledge on boxing, I think he will teach Francis a lot.

‘But, I don’t think it would matter who trained Ngannou for this fight. He’s got to fight Tyson Fury and I’m not an easy opponent for anybody no matter who is training you.

‘Everyone’s got a plan until they get punched in the face. That’s exactly what’s going to happen to Ngannou when I fight him.’

I sparred Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk and both gave me ‘nightmares’, but mentality gives Ukrainian the edge

Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk is fast approaching – and Fabio Wardley believes one fighter has the edge.

Fury and Usyk will seek to make history in their May 18 encounter, with the winner set to be declared the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis completed the feat in 1999.

British heavyweight Wardley knows both fighters well.

Heo stepped in to a training shootout with Fury before his win over Francesco Pianeta in August 2018, and travelled to Ukraine to spar Usyk ahead of his win over Briton Tony Bellew in November of the same year.

Having touched gloves with both, Wardley believes Usyk could have his hand raised given his military-like dedication focus on the sport.

“I always will back the Brit and I want the Brit [Fury] to win the fight,” the British heavyweight champion told talkSPORT.com in an exclusive chat.

“But I think I am edging it towards Usyk, I think mentality plays a massive part in boxing.

“Especially in terms of focus, where you are at and what you want and I think Fury has achieved so much and been in the spotlight for so long.

“I really like him and he’s a great bloke, and I think he under-estimated Francis Ngannou – and I believe some of that may carry over.

“Both were a complete nightmare in their own right, and certainly weren’t a comfortable spar.”

It is certainly an interesting match-up, with Fury seemingly the narrow favourite going into the contest.

This is largely down to his size as a natural heavyweight, holding a six inch height advantage over his rival, standing at 6ft 9ins in comparison to Usyk at 6ft 3ins.

But like Wardly, Usyk’s promoter, Alexander Krassyuk, believes his client’s mentality will give him the edge over Fury.

“I can tell you about the secret weapon of Usyk’s, the only problem is it’s not a secret,” he said

“His weapon is his mind, his heart, his experience and boxing skills.

“And the main thing about him that is different from Tyson Fury is his discipline.

“That is what makes him great and it is his toughest weapon.”

It is a legacy-defining night, and one which the winner could see them ranked as one of the greatest heavyweights of all-time.

The ‘Gypsy King’ comes into the contest on the back of an unconvincing win over Ngannou in October 2022, but he has been training hard and has shown off a remarkable transformation.

Equally, Usyk faced a tough outing against Daniel Dubois last time after rallying to win following a controversial ‘low blow’ knockdown.

But both fighters will be hoping to get the better of a saga, which is expected to play out over two fights with an immediate sequel contracted.
