SHE keeps a famously tight rein on her kids – but Victoria Beckham’s dreams of the perfect family have been dealt a blow after son Romeo split from his long-time love Mia Regan.
The model, who was said to idolise Victoria, once posed in a bikini on the beach with the word “Posh” written on her bum — and the pair even collaborated on fashion designs.

Victoria prides herself on closely mentoring her children — but with Romeo breaking up with Mia this week, and Posh’s own spiky relationship with daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz, the mum-of-four is said to fear losing control of her family.
Romeo, referring to his sweetheart by his nickname for her, confirmed on Instagram: “Mooch and I have parted ways after five years of love.

Mia, 21, shared a selfie of them together and wrote: “This is Ro, we have grown up with each other since we were 16!!

A source said: “Everyone in the family loves Mia, but she and Romeo just grew apart. It was their first real love and it is sometimes hard to accept when that comes to an end.
“Mia has her own career and works hard, making her own way. She flies off around the world a lot for her modelling, and Romeo has his football here and his family.

Meanwhile, footballer and model Romeo, 21, has already made it clear he’s back on the market by checking out a string of nude and bikini-clad pictures of models on Instagram.
In recent days he has liked around ten pictures of Aussie Liv Grivas — who some have noticed bears a resemblance to mum Victoria — along with a revealing photo of catwalk beauty Ida Zeile in a bath.
He even liked a sizzling image of Grivas dressed in a short black dress on Valentine’s Day — days before announcing his split with Mia.
He has since deleted all traces of his ex on Instagram while she has not posted anything about Romeo for two months. The pair were last seen together at the world darts final in North London, where they cheered on teen sensation Luke Littler.
At the time the pair seemed perfectly loved up. Romeo had his arm around her as she sported one of the comedy green hairpieces handed out by sponsor Paddy Power, and later wore one himself.
‘Lots of secrets’
Insiders claim the break-up dashed Victoria’s hopes of building on Brand Beckham and following in the footsteps of “momager” Kris Jenner, who helped turn the Kardashian name into a multi-billion-pound industry.

One source said: “Victoria was a huge fan of Mia and hoped the pair might end up getting married.
“She’s been known to want to create a big celebrity family like the Kardashians. That looks unlikely — for now, anyway. She can’t control what goes on with her kids — as much as she’d like to.”
PR expert Mark Borkowski told The Sun that being a ‘momager’ means Victoria has to “take the rough with the smooth”.
He said: “If you create a soap opera out of your life, you have to accept the ups and downs — just like the Kardashians have proved.
“Break-ups might not be pleasant but they carry on the family narrative and make it interesting.
“I think Victoria has ultimate control as far as she can and it goes without saying that any mum wants their children to be happy.
“But these are still young people making their way in life and it’s not always a happy story.” Victoria has a notoriously tricky relationship with eldest son Brooklyn’s wife, heiress Nicola Peltz, after the pair fell out over the design of her wedding dress.
Youngest son Cruz — a budding singer who Victoria once managed — ended his year-long romance with model Tana Holding last October.
Victoria, 49, runs her own fashion brand and is said to be the brains behind husband David’s off-field success.

The couple, who are worth around £425million, have a home in Miami due to David co-owning the city’s football team.
Their celebrity friends in the US include actress Eva Longoria, Kim Kardashian, tennis player Serena Williams and Katie Holmes.
The pair’s kids Brooklyn, 24, Cruz, 19 and Harper, 12, and Romeo think nothing of seeing famous faces around their £17million home.
But Posh is said to be careful about who she lets into the family circle for fear they will kiss and tell.
A source said: “When the boys first brought home girlfriends, Posh was always the one to take them under her wing.
“She wanted to check out the girls and ensure they could be trusted in the family circle and weren’t just looking for 15 minutes of fame.
“There are a lot of secrets they are exposed to so Vic is always keen to make sure people are a good fit for the household.”
Romeo, who plays for West London club Brentford’s B-team and has modelled for the likes of Burberry and Vogue, started dating Mia in 2019 after moving in the same social media circles. The source added: “Mia worships Vic and takes all her advice. Mia thinks Vic is superwoman. She’s her hero — and Posh lapped it up.”
The pair were so close that in 2022 they designed a fashion collection together featuring vintage denim and also sat next to each other on the front row at London Fashion Week.
Hostile feud
Mia gushed at the time: “I felt that Victoria really trusted me. To see her in full work mode was cool.”
In return Victoria said: “I love that she’s fun and not afraid to try new things when it comes to her personal style.”
Posh looked on course to emulate the Kardashian family success when Mia and Brooklyn’s then-fiancée, Nicola, appeared in a photoshoot for her fashion range in 2020. A £1,450 yellow gown worn by Nicola, 29, flew off the shelves while a Nineties-style bralet and trouser set donned by Mia also sold fast.
But relations fractured amid rising tensions between Mia and Nicola, with Victoria scrambling to stage an “all-girls lunch” to clear the air.
The meeting never materialised before Victoria’s easy relationship with Nicola turned sour in a hostile feud over the heiress’s wedding dress and her son’s first dance.
Transformers actress Nicola said Victoria promised to create a gown for her marriage to Brooklyn in April 2022 but allegedly pulled out.
Post-wedding, Nicola and Victoria rarely liked each other’s Instagram posts and it emerged there was a row at the wedding over the first dance. There were claims the newlyweds had to change their original first song, Marc Anthony’s You Sang To Me, because Posh “stole” it for her mother-son dance.
Two months later Nicola hinted that Brooklyn — who has been a barista, model, footballer, photographer and now chef — felt a “lot of pressure to please people with his career.”
While she didn’t explicitly mention the Beckhams, her comments would have devastated Victoria, who dotes on her three boys.
It looks like the women have now buried the hatchet after walking down the red carpet together at the premiere of Nicola’s film Lola.
But the loss of Mia has apparently hit Posh hard.
As Victoria counts the cost to brand Beckham, she has also lost an ally.
