Mike Tyson's priceless response when kid asks who has the higher body count between him and Jake Paul

Mike Tyson had a priceless reaction when a kid asked who has a higher body count between him and Jake Paul.

Paul and Tyson took part in a launch press conference on Monday ahead of their blockbuster fight on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with tickets going for crazy prices.

And the New York presser descended into chaos when a kid asked an inappropriate question to Paul and Tyson, who responded in brilliant fashion.

After the media asked their questions, Paul and Tyson fielded questions from fans – with one person inexplicably asking who has the higher body count.

The young fan, who called them both ‘f**king legends’, asked: “Who do you thinks got a higher body count? What’s your body count Jake?”

The outrageous question stunned host Ariel Helwani and Paul himself as Tyson replied: “Where’s this kid’s mother?”

Needless to say, Paul and Tyson didn’t answer the question.

Aside from the ridiculous body count question, the returning boxing legend sent his upcoming opponent a chilling warning while ‘The Problem Child’ talked up the monstrous clash.

“I really like Jake a lot,” said Tyson. “But once he’s in that ring, he has to fight like his life is depending on it. Because it will be.”

Paul added: “He was game. I think he’s always wanted to do this. This has been a long time coming. We’ve been calling each other out for years and we finally got to make it happen, on Netflix, the biggest platform in the world. Things just keep on getting bigger and better.

“Mike wanted this. Mike wanted it to be a pro fight. He wants the war. I respect that. I respect him for taking this fight, for stepping up, to try to put an end to me. Because that’s what all these fighters have been trying to do, is end the YouTuber – and if Mike can do that, then he’s a hero.”

Floyd Mayweather to make shock return to boxing in rematch of hugely controversial fight

Floyd Mayweather is set to make a shock return to boxing in a rematch of a hugely controversial bout during his professional career.

Mayweather called time on his storied pro career when he registered his 50th victory against Conor McGregor in a money-spinning Las Vegas showdown back in August 2017.

However, the former pound-for-pound king has returned to the ring in the form of several exhibition bouts.

In 2018, he stopped Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa before facing Logan Paul and Don Moore in non-scored contests.

The boxing legend then beat another Japanese opponent in Mikuru Asakura before defeating Deji Olatunji in Dubai.

He also took on former MMA fighter Aaron Chalmers and hasn’t fought since his chaotic clash against John Gotti III, which ended in a mass brawl.

But the 47-year-old is set to lace up the gloves again for another exhibition bout in what will be a rematch of one of his pro fights.

According to Salvador Rodriguez of ESPN Mexico, Mayweather is in line to meet former foe Victor Ortiz on August 24 in Mexico.

Per the report, Mayweather vs. Ortiz 2 will take place at The Plaza de toros Mexico, which is the world’s largest bullring, boasting a capacity of 41,262.

‘Money’ met Ortiz in the 42nd bout of his pro career and the fight ended in controversial fashion.

He stopped ‘Vicious’ in the fourth round to defend his WBC welterweight world title.

Ortiz inexplicably head-butted Mayweather, who complained about the move to referee Joe Cortez.

The official separated the fighters and signalled for time out before deducting a point off Ortiz.

Upon resuming the fight, Ortiz hugged Mayweather, who wasted no time in launching an attack.

He landed a brutal combination that landed flush on his opponent’s chin, flooring him in the process.

Ortiz failed to beat the count as he was beaten by Mayweather.

The first press conference ahead of the highly anticipated fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson has taken place, and fans think there is a clear winner following the face-off.

Both Paul and Tyson took part in a launch press conference on Monday ahead of their blockbuster fight on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with tickets for the fight going for insane prices.

At the presser, Tyson sent Paul a rather chilling warning while his YouTuber opponent talked his usual talk.

“I really like Jake a lot, but once he’s in that ring, he has to fight like his life is depending on it. Because it will be.”

Paul added: “He was game. I think he’s always wanted to do this. This has been a long time coming. We’ve been calling each other out for years and we finally got to make it happen, on Netflix, the biggest platform in the world. Things just keep on getting bigger and better.”

Following the press conference, the pair took part in their first real face-off, with both men seemingly in good spirits as they were seen laughing and joking with each other.

While there wasn’t any crazy headbutts or shoves to report on, fans were all gobsmacked by the size of Paul who looked considerably bigger than his opponent.

One fan wrote: “Bruh when was Jake that big, the hell!”

Another added: “Just from the eye test, something don’t look right. Jake looks a little too big right now. Coincidence? I think not!”

More fans even shared their concern for the former heavyweight champion after seeing the size of Paul.

“Mike getting slept gonna be bad to see,” One fan commented.

Another posted: “Jake Paul is a scum bag for doing this, a guy Tyson’s age could get killed. This fight shouldn’t be allowed to happen.”

A third added: “I’m sorry yall but Jake is bout to knock Mike’s ass out.”

However, one fan remained confident Tyson would emerge with the win:

Saudi authorities make decision on punishing John Fury for headbutt on Oleksandr Usyk team member

Saudi Arabian authorities have come to a decision on whether to punish John Fury for headbutting a member of Oleksandr Usyk’s team.

On Monday mayhem broke out at a hotel in Riyadh when Tyson Fury’s father, John, headbutted a member of Usyk’s entourage after sustained chanting of the Ukrainian’s name by his contingent.

Angry words were exchanged between the 59-year-old and Stanislav Stepchuk, before the former lost control.

Fury Sr sustained heavy bleeding from a gash on his forehead after the incident, while Stepchuk was seen donning a tiny cut.

While some fans on social media have called for John to face legal action for the attack, Sky Sports have claimed that Saudi authorities are set to draw a line under the incident.

Moreover, with Stepchuk unlikely to press charges, John is set to remain in the country and support his son for the undefeated heavyweight bout on Saturday.

After the altercation, John was heard shouting: “We can’t be beat! We can’t be beat!

“I live for this f***ing s***! I live for blood, guts and horror! Blood guts and horror! I live for this s***, my boy lives for this s***!”

Meanwhile, Tyson Fury laughed when hearing of the incident and said: “I didn’t see anything. I was in the room doing interviews for Sky Sports, but I’m not here for all that. I’m here to get the job done and go home and rest.

“They do what they do. I’ve definitely seen worse than a cut on the head.”

On the altercation, Stepchuk told Seconds Out: “I was just supporting our team.

“We were only shouting, ‘Usyk, Usyk,’ I didn’t touch him. He went crazy… Yeah [I wanted to punch him], but because of the age difference it would not be very fair.

“He should not look for an actual fight because he could have a heart attack and finish in the ambulance.”

How to watch Fury vs Usyk in the UK

What to know about the fight

The ‘Gypsy King’ is looking to become the first undisputed champion in boxing’s blue-riband division in over 24 years. This title was last attained by fellow Brit Lennox Lewis when he defeated Evander Holyfield in 1999.

Even though both boxers are undefeated, Fury backs himself to beat the Ukrainian.

When speaking at a press conference, Fury explained: “I’m very confident in my ability and I’m very confident I’ll beat the guy. When the cruiserweights step up to the big boys, usually they get found wanting.”

Usyk was previously the undisputed champion at cruiserweight level. However, only five of his 21 wins have been as a heavyweight. On the other hand, Fury has had 34 wins during his career – and just one draw with Deontay Wilder, back in 2018.

But Usyk responded by declaring: “I will speak in the ring. Every time Tyson Fury speaks a lot. For me it doesn’t matter.”

What time is the fight taking place?

Even though the main card will start at 5pm, here in the UK, it looks like the Fury vs. Usyk ringwalks are scheduled for 11:05pm. However, these timings could change on the night, so you’ll want to keep an eye on the PPV to make sure you don’t miss the start of it.

With both boxers currently undefeated, it’s one you won’t want to miss.

Oleksandr Usyk's furious reaction after seeing footage of John Fury headbutting his teammate

A new video shows Oleksandr Usyk’s immediate reaction to a member of his team being attacked by John Fury.

Usyk was left stunned by John’s shocking actions as his interview with Sky Sports was interrupted.

Saudi Arabia authorities have made a decision on whether to punish the 59-year-old for his headbutt.

Fresh footage of the aftermath has emerged online, showing Usyk watching the incident with his entourage, including promoter Alex Krassyuk.

After watching a clip of John headbutting a member of his entourage, the unbeaten world heavyweight champion says: “It’s bad behaviour… because it’s a big man. It’s father… It’s not a street fight,”

He then pointed to the person who was attacked, adding: “He’s the son of my friend.”

Usyk continued to call out John’s ‘bad behaviour’ before walking away from the scene of the incident.

It’s worse than bad behavior, it’s an assault and so out of order and really shows up wat John fury IS. if he was my father He would’ve been on a plane instantly after this and never ever allowed near any boxing events. even Usyk can see

Krassyuk was also unhappy at the situation as he hit out at Tyson Fury’s father.

He said: “I said, ‘Hey, listen, calm down. Let me deal with my guys, I’ll take care of that, I give you my word, if someone was wrong, he will be out of the team’.

“That’s what I told him. Now I see that no-one was wrong. But someone from their team was wrong. Would they do the same? It’s up to them.”

The promoter added: “I saw John Fury was bleeding, it was almost out of control, so I jumped in and told everyone to calm down. I apologised for my guys because I thought initially that my guy, one of our guys, hit John.

“But then I saw the video and it was vice versa! So, I have to take my apologies back or what? What should I do? It was his misbehaviour.

“So, I think it would be proper if he brings his [apology] because this kind of behaviour does not give a good impression about us to the rest of the world.

“This is a classic sport. This is the diamond of combat sports. And people have to know that boxing is a sport of intelligent people, that’s why [he must apologise]. It’s up to him, but let the world know that we are intelligent people.”

Rare footage of John Fury getting knocked out resurfaces after Oleksandr Usyk team headbutt incident

Footage of John Fury getting knocked out in his boxing career has resurfaced after his shocking headbutt on a member of Oleksandr Usyk’s team.

A pre-fight event was held at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia ahead of the undisputed world heavyweight title fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk on Monday.

However, it descended into chaos after Fury Sr planted a headbutt on Stanislav Stepchuk, a member of Usyk’s entourage.

The fracas took place while Fury was taking part in interviews, with the 59-year-old screaming as blood poured from his head.

Saudi Arabian authorities say no further action will be taken, with the much younger and smaller Stepchuk not pressing any charges.

Fury is therefore expected to be in his son’s corner for the superfight, where the WBA, WBO, IBF and WBC belts are on the line.

John is known for causing chaos anytime either of his sons are in action, but he was a boxer himself many moons ago.

    Image: Getty
    Image: Getty

He had a total of 13 professional fights, making his debut in defeat back in 1987 before embarking on a seven-fight winning streak.

However, he suffered knockout defeats to former WBO champion Henry Akinwande and Steve Garber and retired with an 8-4-1 record.

The loss to Akinwande was particularly brutal and saw Fury sent crashing to the canvas and lay against the ropes.

Garber also made his knees go weak when he caught him with a right, with Fury not quite up to the level.

Both Tyson and Tommy have made millions from their exploits inside the squared circle but for John it certainly wasn’t the case.

He collected just less than £4,000 from boxing – claiming he made more from bare-knuckle fights

“I made less than £4,000,” he wrote in his autobiography ‘When Fury takes over’.

“I wasn’t making any real money from Queensberry Rules boxing; in thirteen fights as a pro over an eight-year period.

“Fighters often make excuses after they’ve been beaten, but some of my challenges were laughably one sided. Like when I fought Neil Malpass. It was my first ten-rounder, and at the time I had only had a handful of fights and experienced six two-minute rounds, while he had had over forty professional fights. I lost narrowly on points.”

The Ukrainian is currently finishing up his preparations for the mouth-watering undisputed heavyweight title fight in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

Should there be a victor, he will be the first man to hold all four heavyweight belts since Lennox Lewis in 1999.

With the stakes so high, you’d be forgiven for expecting a solely sombre tone. But Quigley captures a calm and playful Usyk who shows little sign of an impending date with destiny.

World champion Tyson Fury paid tribute to Lawal ahead of his bout with Oleksandr Usyk this weekend

The remainder of the card was cancelled.

Fury, who is fighting Oleksandr Usyk in their undisputed heavyweight title bout in Saudi Arabia this weekend, paid tribute to Lawal today.

The Gypsy King said ‘Rest in peace. poor fella. We all know the dangers of getting in the ring. The dangers of having our brains knocked out.

‘We’re not in there to tickle each other to death. We are there to do serious damage to each other. It’s what we’re paid for.

‘I’ve known the risks all my life. You know that if it’s your time to die it’s destiny.’

A witness told The Sun: ‘It’s unbelievably sad. This was his pro debut – he has died while chasing his dream.

‘His fight was first on the card, but the event was cancelled and the remaining three fights scrapped after Sherif was taken to hospital. That tells you how serious it was.

‘He was hurt at the end of round three. He then came out for the fourth and final round with his guard up, and took a right to the temple.

‘He dropped to his haunches and the referee started a count to ten – but then stopped and waved it off because he could see Sherif was in a bad way.

‘Doctors arrived and worked on him in the ring for about 20 minutes, including CPR and the use of a defibrillator.

‘This was in front of a packed house, and everyone was in total shock.

‘Sherif was then taken away on a stretcher before news came through later that he had passed away.’

The Islington-based Lawal had been boxing since 2018. Last year, he competed in the National Elite Championships and turned professional earlier this year.

In a statement, Warren Boxing Management said: ‘Last night, Sherif Lawal was making his debut at a show at Harrow Leisure Centre, in which our boxer Courtney Bennett was scheduled to fight.

‘Unfortunately during Sherif’s fight, he collapsed and despite the best efforts of the paramedics, he was later pronounced dead.

‘Warren Boxing Management would like to send our condolences to all of Sherif’s family, friends, coaches and all those close to him at this tragic time.’

Costakis Evangelou, the promoter of the Clash of the Titans event, told The Sun: ‘This was a tragic incident and my profound sympathies go out to Sherif’s family.

‘It’s a difficult time for everyone involved in the boxing fraternity and we’re trying to absorb what’s happened. No one wants to see something like this in any sport.

‘Sherif was a great boxer and man. It’s now in the hands of the Board and they’re going to assess the incident.’

Writing on X, fellow boxer Denzel Bentley paid tribute to Lawal, writing: ‘Went to a boxing show last night and a young man making his debut lost his life.’
