Looks like the Beckhams are no longer friends with the Sussexes. Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle used to be very good friends with David Beckham and his wife Victoria,

but this relationship is said to be now in the past. According to various news reports, ties between them were severed when Meghan

and Harry accused David and Victoria Beckham of leaking private information about the former royals to the media. These reports reportedly made the Beckhams “furious”.

David and Victoria have been accused by Harry and Meghan of revealing sensitive information about the Sussexes in the middle of their public battle with the rest of the royal family.

The Beckhams are said to be the British Royal family’s sympathisers and disagreed with the Sussexes’ attacks on the royal family.

At the time, Meghan and Harry gave public interviews, including one with Oprah Winfrey

and then their documentaries made several claims against the royal family for being racist and discriminatory against them.

There’s one place on earth where sports fans can watch both Lionel Messi and Lewis Hamilton – two of the greatest athletes in history – at the top of their game this weekend: Miami.

The South Florida city, once renowned for the chaos of its Spring Break party scene, has emerged as one of the sporting capitals of the world.

Formula 1 is set to host the third Miami Grand Prix at Hard Rock Stadium Sunday, while Messi will take the pitch with the David Beckham-backed Inter Miami CF Saturday.

The Hard Rock, which is already home to one of the NFL’s most exciting teams, will host the Copa America final this summer and seven World Cup games in 2026.

It comes on the heels of the Miami Open, the 2020 Super Bowl and the 2021 College Football Playoff National Championship Game, all of which were held at the world-class Miami Gardens stadium.

Just this week, billionaire Dolphins owner Stephen Ross reportedly turned down a $10bn offer to purchase the team, opting to keep control in his family.

The deal, which would have marked the biggest sale in NFL history, also would have included Hard Rock Stadium and the F1 race.

‘When I first came here in 2013, this was a 28-year-old stadium with a bunch of empty parking lots,’ Dolphins CEO Tom Garfinkel told DailyMail.com.

‘Now it’s truly a global entertainment destination (and) Formula 1 has only raised Miami to new heights,’ he added.

‘Combining the prestige of Formula 1 and with the culture of Miami has created an event that people across the landscape of business and entertainment want to come to year after year.’

The historically Europe-centric sport, which now has three American races on the calendar (Austin and Las Vegas take place later in the year), is finally capitalizing on the $83.1billion American sports market. And they’re going all-in.

Up to 90,000 F1 fans will descend on South Florida this weekend, ranging from F1 die-hards to cashed-up punters in town to sip champagne and enjoy the spectacle.

The ultra-exclusive paddock club, which can set guests back more than $10,000 per ticket, was so successful in the race’s inaugural year that a new structure was built from the ground up.

The facility, which would normally take up to 24 months to construct, was designed and completed in just seven months in time to serve top-shelf liquor and five-star fare to the highest-paying attendees at the 2023 race.

However, luxury drips from all corners of the track at Miami. Guests can party at the Hard Rock Beach Club while Steve Aoki mixes tunes on the DJ decks, or toast champagne aboard a yacht on the MIA Marina, which features a sheet of aquamarine plastic designed to look like real water.

Even the general admission areas have a carnival-like atmosphere, 30-year-old Connecticut resident Molly Bierce told the Mail.

‘I only started watching F1 a few years ago but we’re making a whole weekend of it down here in Miami … coming to the track on Friday then going to the Inter Miami game on Saturday,’ she explained.

‘Having a big soccer team here that David Beckham owns makes it even more of an enticing trip,’ she added. ‘This is the most beautiful part of Florida- we’re spending time at the beach, eating at lovely restaurants – it’s brilliant.’

It’s not just attendees who are reveling in the Florida sunshine.

‘I love being here,’ Hamilton told reporters this week. ‘I get to go in the water, the weather is great.’

Sport has quickly become one of the driving forces behind the South Florida economy.

Inter Miami, which is constructing a new billion-dollar facility, is regularly selling out the 19,1000-seat Chase Stadium, with average ticket prices increasing by 459% to $850 after announcing Messi’s signing.

Restaurateur David Grutman, who counts Beckham and Messi, along with the Kardashians and several other A-listers as close pals, described the palpable ‘Messi effect’ when the Argentina captain joined the once-struggling Major League Soccer team.

‘It reminded me of when the “big three” played here,’ he told the Mail, referencing LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh’s time playing for the Miami Heat.

‘But this is on an even more international scale. I’m getting calls from people all over the world who are coming to Miami and wanting to go to a game or visit one of our restaurants.’

While some of the world’s best footballers – Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba – now call Miami home, NFL stars Tyreek Hill, Braxton Berrios and Jalen Ramsey have also taken up residence.

Morale is high within the Dolphins organization, a once-floundering franchise which is now among the league’s most exciting teams.

Miami finished the 2023 season ranked first in offensive yards per game, while Hill became the team’s first player to lead the NFL in receiving yards.

Away from the field, the Dolphins were the top-ranked team in a player survey about facilities, food, the locker room, training staff and head coach.

That is thanks, in no small part, to Ross’ investment in the team. And this week’s race is another glittering symbol of a sporting city reborn.

Fashion mogul Victoria Beckham threw an opulent birthday bash recently to celebrate her 50th.

While the occasion, held at private members club Oswalds, was very much a family affair, ‘Posh Spice’ also invited a fleet of starry A-list guests.

Among those hot-footing it to the exclusive jaunt were Gordon and Tana Ramsay, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and her fiance Jason Statham,

Eva Longoria, Salma Hayek and singer Marc Anthony, who had flown in from Miami with his new wife Nadia.

But there was one guest who made a surprising appearance at the celebratory bash – enter Hollywood legend Tom Cruise.

And according to MailOnline, the Tropic Thunder actor, 61, floored fans with an impressive ‘breakdance’ routine after dinner which culminated in the splits.

While Tom’s attendance may have come as a surprise to many, he has actually known the Beckhams for 20 years.

Their friendship crystallised back in 2007 when lovebirds David and Victoria moved across the pond to Los Angeles as part of the former professional footballer’s transfer to LA Galaxy. And prior to making the big move, David divulged that he’d spoken to Tom, asking for his advice.

“I was on the phone to him for about an hour last night and the night before,” David said when addressing his new club by video-link from Madrid in January 2007. “I asked for his advice because he’s a very wise man and a very good friend of mine. He couldn’t speak any higher about LA. It’s a big help to us to have friends in LA when we arrive.”

During their time in the US, Tom and his then-wife Katie Holmes forged a friendship with the quartet regularly stepping out together in public. Meanwhile, Tom, who is an ardent football fan, was spotted at several of David’s matches.

While David hasn’t spoken at length about his friendship with Tom, he did mention him in his Netflix BECKHAM documentary. Sharing a rare glimpse inside their bond, he said: “The funny thing was that I was friends with Tom Cruise. I remember Tom turned around and said, ‘Will and I are going to throw you a party.’ I was like ‘Will?’ And he said ‘Will Smith’.”

The party in question was a lavish welcome bash held to mark the Beckhams’ arrival in Los Angeles following David’s transfer from Real Madrid. It took place at the Museum of Contemporary Art in LA, with Tom reportedly taking to the dance floor to recreate the choreography from his 1983 film Risky Business.

Other guests in attendance included Jim Carrey, Matthew Perry, Rihanna, Eva Longoria, Forest Whitaker, Serena Williams and Kerry Washington.

Recalling the party, David’s close friend David Gardner said: “It was like being in Madame Tussauds, everywhere you looked there was a famous person.”

He added: “The next minute the piano starts going and Stevie Wonder startings singing him happy birthday. And I was like ‘[expletive] this, he’s gone, we’ve lost him.’”

Beyond this, Tom, Katie, David and Victoria also made glittering group appearances at the 2008 Met Gala and at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in 2012.

2012 nonetheless heralded a shift in the quartet’s close friendship in the sense that it also marked the year of Tom and Katie’s divorce after five years of marriage. Following their split, the Beckhams appeared to deepen their bond with Tom and were pictured with the film star at several sporting events.

In May 2013, David and Tom watched a game between the Los Angeles Kings and the San Jose Sharks at Staples Center, while in July 2021, Tom could be seen clapping alongside David at the UEFA EURO 2020 final football match between Italy and England at Wembley Stadium.

And judging from his latest appearance at VB’s lavish bash, it seems that power couple David and Victoria have continued to rekindle their friendship with Tom.

One of the biggest scandals in David’s career was his affair with former personal assistant Rebecca Loos.

Eva Longoria has really upped the ante for her visit to Cannes Film Festival this year.

The new mum, who has spent the past week in Cannes for the annual film festival, has taken to the red carpet in some seriously amazing gowns and given us all the glamour with her hair and makeup.

But on Thursday evening she arrived at the Kering Talks: Women in Motion event and she was dressed head-to-toe in Victoria Beckham.

The 44-year old actress, who has been in Cannes with her L’Oreal family, wore a look straight from the Victoria Beckham SS19 runway.

David and Victoria Beckham have been enjoying a family trip to Muskoka in Canada this week and have been sharing an insight to their holiday on Instagram.

The former footballer, 48, and the fashion designer, 49, were joined by their son Cruz, 18, daughter Harper, 12, and their pals Jamie and Sheryl Salter.

David gave a glimpse at the getaway on his Story as he showed off his shirtless physique in short black swimming shorts while posing with a pal.

Another shot saw him cosying up to wife Victoria as they enjoyed a dip together in the lake as they made the most of the summer days.

Victoria also enjoyed a water-skiing session with David and Cruz during the trip as she showed off her sporty side.

The fashion designer, 49, took on the adrenaline-filled activity in Muskoka as she took to the waters with confidence.

While she was known for being Posh Spice in the Spice Girls she could have easily taken on bandmate Mel C’s role of Sporty Spice.

She looked in control as she kept her balance and showed off her toned figure in a flattering black swimsuit.

Another snap saw her looking loved-up with David as they spent quality time together as she looked summery in a large cap and shades.

The Instagram album also showed a lovely snap of David and daughter Harper in a sweet embrace before he called her his ‘surfer girl’ as she took to the waters.

Cruz also joined them on the trip and took on some waterskiing as well surfing.

They holidayed with their pals Jamie and Sheryl Salter who they had a group snap with while posing on a boat on the water.

David shared a snap of ‘the boys’ enjoying a bottle of red wine together before posting a group snap of the women including Victoria as he penned: ‘looking good ladies’.

It comes after earlier this week David and Cruz joined Elvis actor Austin Butler in lifting a fallen tree blocking their path on a road in Canada.

Victoria revealed she became stuck when a tree fell – meaning her husband David Cruz and Butler, 31, had to lift the tree to allow cars to pass.

The incident happened before the group travelled to Texas to watch David’s football team Inter Miami – which he co-owns – play FC Dallas in a Leagues Cup match.

Victoria posted a video of the moment on Instagram and also tagged Austin’s girlfriend Kaia Gerber on Instagram Stories, but she was not seen in the clip.

The incident happened in Muskoka, a regional municipality in Central Ontario, where Beckham went on holiday in August last year and spent time with his old neighbour Mark Wahlberg – but Victoria did not reveal the family’s connection with Austin.

In a caption, Victoria wrote: ‘Did u ever think u would see Elvis and Beckham lifting a tree? Helping the community in Muskoka. I’m impressed gentleman! Kisses VB.’

Victoria also narrated the clip, saying: ‘There’s a tree that has fallen down and look how manly my husband is. David looking very manly. Push harder, come on guys.’

The Spice Girl also filmed the group’s first stop in Dallas, in which they visited Lou’s Barbeque where David stunned an employee with his appearance.

The man serving David revealed he was shaking during the meeting and stated: ‘I’m a huge, huge fan. That’s the only reason I came to America, to meet him.

David was given a foil wrapper filled with beef brisket, which he displayed to Victoria, who was filming, and stated it was his first taste of Dallas.

He posted a picture of Cruz, in front of a sign for Blu’s Barbeque & BBQ Catering, which sits just over a 15-minute drive away from Toyota Stadium.

‘When in Rome, go big or go home…BBQ,’ Beckham wrote alongside the photo.

David had travelled with his club from the family’s temporary Fort Lauderdale home to Toyota Stadium for the Leagues Cup game.

After sharing the clip and reaching the match, David was on hand to bask in another triumph on Sunday evening as Inter Miami won their first away game since the historic signing of Argentinian legend Lionel Messi.

The resurgent MLS side clawed their way back from 4-2 down to beat east coast rivals FC Dallas on penalties, a comeback owed in no small part to the mercurial talents of their new signing.

The win takes Inter Miami into the quarter-finals of the competition, and the former Manchester United and England midfielder shared a handful of triumphant snaps shortly after their latest victory.

Taking to Instagram, Beckham shared photos of himself alongside supportive wife Victoria, 49, youngest son Cruz, 18, and 12-year old daughter Harper.

Captioning the post, he wrote: ‘WOW what a night in Dallas… thank you for the Love… what a game.’

Footage posted after the game appeared to show Beckham greeting fans while leaving Toyota Stadium following the penalty shootout.

A mass of supporters and camera phones greeted the former footballer, who shook hands with fans as they shouted for the former England captain and patted him on the shoulder.

It was a similarly chaotic scene as they drove away from the stadium, with fans lining the streets and rushing for high-fives as Beckham dangled his arm out of his car window.

Fans ignored warnings to stay off the road – instead the screaming masses raced along the sidewalk and on to the street, forcing Beckham’s car towards the middle lane.

He was joined in Texas by his co-owners Jorge and Jose Mas.

David Beckham turned 49 on Thursday, and he celebrated with his family by his side.

His wife Victoria Beckham shared several photos and videos of the special day, and it’s uncanny how much his daughter Harper Seven, 12, looks like him!

The fashion icon shared a video on her Instagram story of David blowing out the candles on his cake, surrounded by silver balloons wrote. “We love you so much!!!!” she wrote.

Victoria also shared a photo of David sitting at a table with his arm around their son Romeo Beckham, 21.

Their son Cruz Beckham, 19, sits behind them, and their daughter Harper rests both of her hands on her dad’s shoulder and smiles.

Their face cards are identical — right down to their noses, big eyes, and soft cheeks.

“Happy birthday!!!! You are our everything!!!!” Victoria wrote, adding a shout-out to their eldest son Brooklyn, 25: “We miss and love u @brooklynpeltzbeckham.”

Another photo includes Victoria this time and shows off Harper’s chic style. She wears a white lace tank top with jeans, and her long blonde hair is parted in the middle. She looks gorgeous — and so grown up!

“Special day celebrating you!!!!” Victoria wrote. “The best daddy and husband.”

To further drive home how much everyone has grown, the former Spice Girl posted “a big flashback” of the family (including Brooklyn!). Everyone is so young that Harper even has a pacifier in her mouth!

Romeo Beckham posted a throwback photo as well, with him giving his dad a big kiss. “Happy birthday dad thank you for everything love you always + forever 🤍🤍 @davidbeckham”

Brooklyn posted photos of him and his dad, too. In the first one, Brooklyn is a toddler, riding on his dad’s shoulders, wearing matching Manchester United shirts. In the second one, a young David holds Brooklyn and offers him a bottle. “Happy birthday to the best dad in the world x love you so much dad ❤️❤️,” he captioned it.

Last month, the Beckhams celebrated Victoria’s milestone 50th birthday. “Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife …” he wrote on Instagram. “As you head into this birthday you should look back and be proud of what you have accomplished, achieved & what you have built, Posh spice, business woman & of course marrying an England captain 😂”
