David Beckham’s stylish better half is designer and Spice Girl alum Victoria Beckham.

And on Friday, the 41-year-old soccer star enjoyed some bonding time with their 11-year-old son Cruz as they supported another singer turned fashion designer, Kanye West.

The father-son duo hit up the rapper’s pop-up store in Los Angeles, which is one of 21 stores worldwide that is open just for this weekend to sell the rapper’s The Life Of Pablo clothing line.

David and his son appeared in high spirits as the duo shopped the temporary boutique on Fairfax Avenue, during a VIP session with few other customers inside the store. 

The hunky footballer dressed down in a dark grey T-shirt which was rolled to show off his muscular sleeve tattoos. 

He teamed the casual look with a pair of slim-fit dark blue jeans.

The scruffy-faced soccer star sported his favorite Ben Sherman Military Cap and a black and gold watch.

The Beckhams spend most of the holidays in Los Angeles – where they previously lived for five years while David was playing for LA Galaxy – but live in London during term-time, where the children are enrolled at school.

David Beckham admits he understands the pressure on Gareth Bale at Real Madrid, after the former England captain’s own first season at the Bernabeu ended in disappointment.

Beckham and Bale have both lined up for the Spanish giants, and both have had to deal with speculation of a move back to the Premier League after a testing period.

Speaking to the Daily Star on Sunday, the ex-Manchester United winger said: ‘In my first season we didn’t win La Liga and people were talking about me going to Chelsea. But I was happy in Madrid and knew as long as I worked hard the Real fans would notice that and that I would gradually win them round.’

‘I got to know Gareth when I trained at Tottenham a few years ago – and he’s a fantastic guy with so much talent,’ Beckham continued. ‘I wasn’t surprised when Real Madrid signed him for the amount they did. But, obviously, with that comes a lot of pressure.

‘And when you are at Real Madrid, whether you sign for £1million or £100m, there is always pressure on you to perform.

Speaking about the project, David took to a small stage to greet the guests and give background on why he took on the documentary.

He said:  ‘A lot of people wanted me to make a documentary for many years but I didn’t feel like it was the right time.

‘It was all about piecing the team together and putting the right director in and making sure I was surrounded with people that could jog my memory.’

It comes after David admitted he and wife Victoria have wondered how they have survived 27 years together given all that they have been through.

The former Manchester United player said they both became ’emotional’ watching the recent documentary series about him.

He said that despite all the ‘ups and downs’ in his life he is grateful they are still happy as it approaches their silver wedding anniversary in July.

David said: ‘That’s one of the things we both, me and Victoria, probably both get emotional about, and after watching the documentary after everything was over and we watched it finally, that’s the one thing that we looked at each other and was like, “I don’t know how we got through the last 27 years, but we did and we have an amazing family, amazing business and we’re happy.”

‘And yeah, of course, when you’re with someone for that amount of time, of course you have your ups and downs, everybody knows that and at the end of the day we were lucky because we had each other at those moments.

‘You know, she was a Spice Girl, I was playing for Manchester United, and even when we were going through the difficult times, we actually had each other to feed off and that was the best part.

‘Obviously we were 21 and 22 when we met. We got married when we was 23 and 24 and we had our first son when I was 23, so as soon as we had our first son, Brooklyn, that also added another layer to the family and our responsibilities then were to our son.’

David told the latest edition of the SmartLess podcast, which goes on general release on Monday, May 20, that he is ‘so happy’ at where his life is now.

David is busy pursuing his business interests with fashion and beauty brands as well as being part-owner and President of MLS football club Inter Miami after a glittering career as a player.

He explained: ‘I’m so happy. I am very happy because I feel very blessed to have had the career that I’ve had and played for the teams that I have and experienced that.

‘And the one thing that I always wanted for me, I was lucky I met Victoria when I met her because I always wanted to have kids young.

‘I always wanted to have kids that lived through my career with me and I was lucky the three boys all lived through most of the teams that I played for and that, for me, was a really important part of my life.’

He told show hosts Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, Lara Spencer and George Stephanopoulos: ‘The only reason I did it was because it was kind of a love letter to my career and the sport and also, more importantly, my family.

‘My family have been such an incredible support system throughout my whole life and my whole career.

‘To have all that archive and all that footage in one place, literally I could go, ”there you go” and that really was the only reason to do it.’

‘I think we were all nervous going into it because we are… even though we have been pictured all over the world, and people know, most places, who we are, to let people into our home… But I also said that if I am going to do this, I am going to do it right and I am only going to do it once so everyone got on board,’ he added.

BECKHAM premiered in October 2023, and while chatting on GMA, David revealed that it wasn’t until then that his youngest son, Cruz, realised just how good his father was at football.

Speaking live in Times Square on the show, he said: ‘But one funny thing was, we watched the premiere and as we are driving back to the house, my youngest son Cruz turns round to me and says ”Dad you were really good, I didn’t know.”’

David also revealed that he when he first retired from football, he was not ready to do to an documentary but after ten years had passed he thought it was the right time.

His documentary amassed a record breaking 3.8million viewers during its premiere week.

The second instalment was also a success reaching 2,868,800 viewers by the week ending October 8.

BECKHAM was the streaming service’s topped watched show for two weeks when it was released, with 11,600,000 fans watching globally, according to Netflix’s own data.

It follows Posh and Becks in their personal and professional lives, going through their history together with interviews of the couple.

The footballer told of his struggles with his mental health after becoming public enemy No 1 following his infamous red card upset during the 1998 World Cup, with abuse being levelled at him and his family including angry fans throwing their TVs out of windows and an effigy of him being hung outside a pub.

Up until Madrid sometimes it felt like us against everybody else but we were together, we were connected, we had each other. But when we were in Spain, it didn’t really feel like we had each other either. And that’s sad. I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it was. And how it affected me.’

David stunned the world when his alleged relationship with Rebecca was revealed in the now defunct News Of The World newspaper. At the time Victoria had decided to remain in the UK so that her young sons Brooklyn and Romeo could stay in their schools. The decision left David lonely, and he admits that he struggled.

‘Today, we lost my angel on earth,’ Bradley — who, along with Nicola, is the son of billionaire Nelson Peltz — wrote in the caption.

‘She was not only the happiest but one of my favorite souls I ever came across. She was the light that would brighten your day,’ he went on.

‘Her heart was so big that you could feel it when she smiled, and in turn make you smile. May her soul rest in peace and in paradise in heaven. I love you Bunny.’

In the last photograph the two were seen wearing matching white suit jackets while posing together.
