The secrets behind the brand-name watch that former One Direction star Liam Payne ‘wore hours before’ when he fell to his death from a balcony have been revealed.

Liam Payne’s £30k Rolex watch still missing nearly a month after his death as police launch hunt for designer timepiece former One Direction star ‘was wearing hours before’ fatal balcony fall

Argentinian police probing Liam Payne’s death are still hunting the singer’s missing £30,000 Rolex, it was claimed today.

The designer watch was not discovered during raids last week on the homes of three men made suspects in an ongoing criminal investigation.

Respected Argentinian daily La Nacion says searches of the homes of two female escorts Liam spent his last hours with before his third-floor balcony plunge at his Buenos Aires hotel, who are being treated as witnesses and have not been accused of any crimes, also turned up nothing.

It reported this weekend the CasaSur Palermo Hotel would be searched again for the expensive timepiece.

The operation in the ‘next 72 hours’, according to La Nacion, is set to focus on the former One Direction singer’s deluxe suite room in case the watch, which investigators reportedly suspect may have been stolen, was missed first time round.

Liam is said to have been seen wearing the Rolex in CCTV images and other photos incorporated into the prosecution case files shortly before he died around 5pm local time on October 16.

A judicial source told La Nacion: ‘We know from images that have been analysed that Liam had the watch on the day of his death.

‘He had it in one of his hands and he had it at least two to three hours before his fatal hotel fall.

‘We looked for it in his hotel room and couldn’t find it.

‘The watch was searched for in the homes of the three people being investigated on suspicion of abandoning Liam and the supply and facilitation of drugs, as well as in the homes of the two female escorts who were with him in his room the afternoon he died.

‘The room is still sealed off by court order and no- one can enter.

‘Searching for the watch in the homes of the people Liam had contact with before his death was the initial priority but now another inspection will take place to see if it remains somewhere in his room.’

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline this week, Liam’s close friend Rogelio ‘Roger’ Nores denied being a suspect in the 31-year-old’s death and rubbished claims police had raided his home in his native Buenos Aires.

It came as Argentinian prosecutors probing Liam’s death confirmed the arrests of three suspects who are now under formal investigation, with one being an unnamed ‘friend’ of the late pop star.

A description given by authorities appeared to indicate Mr Nores, who had accompanied Liam in the days before he died, had been charged with ‘abandoning a person followed by death’.

The individual in question has also been charged with being complicit in the supply of drugs – both crimes are punishable by a prison sentence of up to 15 years on conviction.

However, Mr Nores has slammed claims that he was under investigation connected to the One Direction star’s death in an emotional statement shared with MailOnline.

‘I never abandoned Liam, I went to his hotel 3 times that day and left 40 minutes before this happened,’ Mr Nores said.

‘There were over 15 people at the hotel lobby chatting and joking with him when I left.

‘I could have never imagined something like this would happen.

‘I’ve given my statement to the prosecutor on October 17 as a witness and I haven’t spoken to any police officer or prosecutor ever since.

‘I wasn’t Liam’s manager. He was just my very dear friend.’

He added: ‘I’m really heartbroken with this tragedy, and I’ve been missing my friend every day.’

Prosecutors said in their lengthy statement released last Thursday three men they did not identify by name were now being formally investigated on suspicion of abandoning a person who subsequently died and supplying and facilitating drugs.

The statement described one as the person who ‘routinely accompanied Liam during his stay in Buenos Aires.’

Tests have shown Liam had consumed alcohol and cocaine before he died and also had traces of an antidepressant in his system.

Prosecutors also made it clear the idea Liam had committed suicide had been ruled out and said he was in a state of ‘semi or total unconsciousness’ as he fell to his death when he ‘didn’t know what he was doing.’

The singer’s dad Geoff flew to Argentina two days after his son died and returned to the UK with his body last Thursday to help finalise funeral arrangements following a second visit to the makeshift shrine set up by fans outside Liam’s hotel.

The funeral is expected to take place in Liam’s home town of Wolverhampton.

Chương mới của Beyoncé và Jay-Z: Hoà hợp trong hôn nhân và đỉnh cao quyền lực - Tạp chí Đẹp

In the days and weeks to come, it is likely that more details will emerge. For now, however, Liam Payne’s death remains shrouded in mystery, leaving fans to wonder whether the young star was the victim of forces far beyond his control. While his contributions to music and his lasting impact on pop culture will be remembered, so too will the questions surrounding his untimely demise.

As we reflect on Payne’s life and legacy, one can’t help but think of the many artists before him who voiced concerns about the industry, only to meet untimely and suspicious ends. Could Payne’s death be part of this troubling trend? The truth may still be out there, waiting to be uncovered.

  • Alone, gnawing at loneliness. YES!!!! This perfectly describes Liam Payne when he continuously “called out” to those around him BUT has never received a response.

Alone, gnawing at loneliness. YES!!!! This perfectly describes Liam Payne when he continuously “called out” to those around him BUT has never received a response.

In the days leading up to Liam Payne’s heartbreaking death, concerns had begun to emerge about his increasing isolation. Friends and family had noticed a significant change in his behavior, with many

expressing worry that the pressures of fame were taking a toll on his mental health. Liam, once known for his vibrant personality and close-knit relationships with fellow bandmates and friends, had started to withdraw from social interactions, prompting alarm among those who cared for him deeply.

As a prominent figure in the music industry, Liam’s life had always been under the public eye. While his career with One Direction catapulted him to global stardom, it also came with an overwhelming level of scrutiny and pressure. As he transitioned into a solo artist, the expectations only intensified. This shift brought a unique set of challenges, as he grappled with the realities of navigating fame on his own, without the support of his bandmates by his side. Many have speculated that the weight of these responsibilities contributed to his feelings of isolation, leading him to retreat from the very people who had supported him throughout his career.

In conversations with close friends, it became evident that Liam was struggling. They noted that he often canceled plans or avoided gatherings, preferring to spend time alone rather than engaging with others. This withdrawal raised red flags for those who knew him well, as they recognized that such behavior was not typical of the Liam they had always known. Friends reported feeling helpless, wanting to reach out and support him but unsure how to bridge the growing gap between them. The emotional distance that Liam created during this time left many feeling concerned and anxious about his well-being.

Compounding his isolation was the ongoing dialogue around mental health, a topic that Liam had become increasingly vocal about in recent years. He had shared his struggles with anxiety and depression, advocating for mental health awareness and encouraging others to seek help. Ironically, as he spoke out about these issues, he seemed to find himself in a more isolated position, grappling with the stigma that still surrounds mental health. The very act of opening up about his challenges may have led him to feel more vulnerable, causing him to withdraw further rather than seeking the support he needed.

Moreover, the impact of social media cannot be overlooked in this context. While it can serve as a platform for connection, it can also amplify feelings of loneliness and comparison. Liam’s online presence showcased the glamorous aspects of his life, but behind the scenes, he was wrestling with his own demons. Fans and followers often project a sense of perfection onto celebrities, which can lead to even deeper feelings of inadequacy and isolation when they struggle. In this sense, the very platform that had once connected him to millions may have inadvertently contributed to his sense of detachment.

The loss of Liam Payne has sparked important conversations about the need for greater awareness and support for mental health, particularly in the entertainment industry. His tragic story serves as a reminder that even those who seem to have it all can struggle in silence. Friends and advocates are now calling for more resources and open discussions about mental health, encouraging individuals to reach out to one another and foster connections rather than letting isolation take hold.

As fans mourn the loss of Liam, they are also reflecting on the importance of community and support. Many have shared their own experiences with isolation and mental health struggles, creating a sense of solidarity in the face of such a devastating loss. This collective grieving process can serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of reaching out to those who may be suffering in silence, offering support and understanding rather than judgment.

In conclusion, Liam Payne’s increasing isolation in the lead-up to his tragic death highlights the complexities of mental health in the realm of fame. Friends and family observed significant changes in his behavior, raising concerns about his well-being. As conversations around mental health continue to evolve, there is hope that Liam’s story will encourage a more compassionate and supportive dialogue, reminding us all of the importance of connection and reaching out to those in need. His legacy will not only be remembered for his musical contributions but also for the conversations he sparked about mental health awareness, urging us all to prioritize compassion and community in a world that can often feel isolating.

The tragic death of British tourist Liam Payne, who fell to his death in Argentina, has gained considerable attention after Argentinian media reported that CCTV footage captured the heartbreaking moment.

Payne, a young traveler full of hopes and aspirations, was reportedly on holiday in Argentina when the fatal accident occurred, leaving his loved ones and many who have since heard of the tragedy deeply saddened.

Media sources in Argentina have shared that the footage, captured by surveillance cameras near the incident, shows the devastating accident in real-time.

Payne’s fall, and the circumstances leading up to it, have prompted further inquiries from local authorities, adding layers to an already profoundly sad situation.

From what has been reported so far, Payne had been visiting Argentina as part of an international journey, an experience that friends and family have described as a lifelong dream for him. The allure of exploring new places, immersing himself in diverse cultures, and creating memories had been among Payne’s primary motivations. His loved ones remember him as a passionate and adventurous young man who was determined to live his life to the fullest, taking every opportunity to experience what the world had to offer. The news of his death has therefore come as a tremendous shock to those who knew him best, as they struggle to comprehend how such a vibrant life could be cut short in an instant.

The CCTV footage, which reportedly captured the tragic moment, has provided authorities with critical information regarding Payne’s final moments. According to media reports, the surveillance footage has allowed investigators to piece together the sequence of events leading to Payne’s fall. Although specifics have not been released to the public, it’s been suggested that the footage reveals the moments preceding his fall, potentially offering clues as to whether any external factors or unfortunate accidents played a role in the tragic incident. This level of detail is crucial for local authorities as they work to determine the circumstances of his death and address any outstanding questions.

In addition to the investigation itself, there is a complex emotional aspect tied to the release of this footage. Payne’s family and friends, now grieving his loss, are understandably shaken by the thought that his final moments were recorded on video. The existence of the CCTV footage brings with it mixed feelings. On one hand, it may provide much-needed closure and answers to questions surrounding his death. On the other, the family has expressed concerns over privacy, worrying that the footage might somehow be shared publicly or used in a way that doesn’t respect Payne’s memory. Many close to the situation have urged the media and the public to respect the family’s need for privacy during this difficult time, emphasizing that the tragedy is a personal one, not merely a news story.

As the investigation proceeds, friends and family have been paying tribute to Payne, remembering him as a caring, adventurous soul who had a profound impact on those around him. Those closest to him describe him as a person who always went out of his way to make others feel valued, a trait that endeared him to many. Tributes have poured in from those who recall his warmth, humor, and passion for life, painting a picture of someone who will be deeply missed. His death has sparked an outpouring of grief, not just among family and friends, but also among individuals within the traveling community who were inspired by Payne’s adventurous spirit. The tragedy serves as a solemn reminder of the risks that sometimes accompany international travel, even for the most seasoned of adventurers.

For the family, the sudden loss has left a void that is difficult to articulate. They have requested that his death be handled sensitively, not only by the media but also by those who may come across the details surrounding the incident. The media’s continued focus on the CCTV footage has led some to question the balance between journalistic responsibility and respect for the deceased and their loved ones. Friends and family have expressed that they hope the footage will only be used for investigative purposes, to ensure that Payne’s memory remains untarnished by speculative coverage.

Amidst the grief, Payne’s loved ones are determined to honor his legacy in ways that reflect his adventurous spirit. Some of his friends have organized a memorial in his honor, celebrating his life with stories of his travels, his kindness, and his boundless enthusiasm for exploration. They aim to remember him not for the tragic way his life ended, but for the joy and energy he brought to the lives of those who knew him. In time, his family hopes to create a foundation or initiative in his name, possibly one that promotes safe travel or supports young adventurers as they embark on their own journeys around the world. Such a tribute, they believe, would reflect the values Payne held dear and the love he had for exploring new places and cultures.

For now, the family, friends, and loved ones of Liam Payne continue to mourn the sudden, heartbreaking loss. The questions surrounding the incident remain a difficult backdrop to their grief, but they hope that, in time, the answers they seek will come, offering them the peace to remember Liam in the way he would have wanted. As they navigate this challenging time, they find solace in the memories he left behind, the joy he shared, and the knowledge that he lived his life as fully as possible.

Liam Payne’s death is under investigation

Three people have been charged in connection to Liam Payne’s death last month, and prosecutors have confirmed the lengthy sentence they could face.

It was confirmed on Thursday that three suspects are now under formal investigation following the One Direction man’s death in Argentina on October 16. The prosecutors revealed in a lengthy statement that, if found guilty, the crimes were punishable by a prison sentence of up to 15 years on conviction. They also confirmed one of the suspects included a hotel worker.

The statement, which was the third by prosecutors since the tragedy, explained the in-depth investigation they had been carrying out and seemingly ruled out suicide as a cause of death. In their statement, which has been translated into English, they said: “In the state he was in, he did not know what he was doing and could not understand it.”

In their comment, prosecutors said: “From the beginning of the investigation and within a few days, exhaustive and meticulous actions and measures were carried out to clarify the circumstances surrounding the death of the artist. In this sense, several dozen statements were received at the headquarters of the Public Prosecutor’s Office including the testimonies of hotel staff, family and friends and medical professionals.”

It went on to say they had analysed more than 800 hours of video footage from various security cameras in the hotel and others in the street. It’s thought Liam’s dad, Geoff, was informed of the three charges in person. He had been in the country in the weeks following Liam’s passing, before the star’s body was allowed to be flown back to the UK.

Prosecutors said one of the accused had been accompanying the star on a daily basis while he was in Argentina, while another was an employee at the Casa Sur Palermo hotel where Payne was staying. The third person allegedly supplied drugs. It’s thought there have been a total of nine raids ordered on properties in Buenos Aires so far and the investigation continues with some of Payne’s devices still being analysed.

In the wake of the tragedy, a petition was launched by fans of the singer calling for legislation to protect the mental health of artists in the entertainment industry. The petition, which was launched on Change.org by a fan of the late dad-of-one, seeks to “implore lawmakers to create legislation safeguarding the mental health of artists within the industry”.

To date, over 134,000 people have signed the online document which calls for “Liam’s Law”. The law would necessitate “regular mental health check-ups, adequate rest periods and the presence of mental health professionals on-set, including any ongoing support during their career”. Liam had previously opened up about his struggles with alcoholism at the peak of his success. In a chat with The Diary Of A CEO podcast host Steven Bartlett he described hitting “rock bottom” before saying in 2023 that he was sober after going into rehab.

Liam is survived by his seven-year-old son Bear Payne.

Liam Payne did not intend to take his own life, Argentina prosecutors said, while tonight revealing three people were charged over his death.

The public prosecutor’s office said three people were charged with “abandonment of a person followed by death” and supply and facilitation of narcotics in connection with the death of Liam. The One Direction star tragically fell to his death in Argentina on October 16, aged just 31.

The singer died at upmarket CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, falling from a balcony on the third floor. The lengthy statement released on Thursday indicates investigators have seemingly ruled out suicide, with it stated the late star “was not fully conscious or was experiencing a state of noticeable decrease or loss of consciousness at the time of the fall.

Liam’s heartbroken father Geoff Payne was informed in person of the proceedings and investigations prior to the three arrests being made. Geoff flew over to Argentina upon hearing the tragic news of his son’s death last month and remained there until Liam’s body was cleared to be flown back the U.K on Wednesday.

Argentinian prosecutors probing his death confirmed the arrests of three suspects who are now under formal investigation. They said the crimes were punishable by a prison sentence of up to 15 years on conviction. They also confirmed one of the suspects included a hotel worker.

In only their third statement since Liam’s death, the public prosecutors revealed only alcohol, cocaine and an anti-depressant were found in the star’s system. The long statement, which appeared to also confirm Liam’s dad Geoff was told of the proceedings in person, began: “The National Prosecutor’s Office for Criminal and Correctional Matters N°14, led by prosecutor Andrés Esteban Madrea, informs, following the lifting of the secrecy of summary proceedings, that within the framework of the investigation into the death of British musician Liam James Payne, which occurred on 16 October when he fell from a balcony in a hotel in the Buenos Aires neighbourhood of Palermo, unlawful conduct was discovered, as a result of which three people were charged with the crimes of abandonment of a person followed by death, supply and facilitation of narcotics.

“From the beginning of the investigation and within a few days, exhaustive and meticulous actions and measures were carried out to clarify the circumstances surrounding the death of the artist. In this sense, several dozen statements were received at the headquarters of the Public Prosecutor’s Office including the testimonies of hotel staff, family and friends and medical professionals.

“A detailed analysis of more than 800 hours of video footage from various security cameras in the hotel and others in the street was also carried out, with staff from the prosecutor’s office and specialised analysts from the Superintendence of Special Investigations and the Technological Support Division of the City Police, made available from the outset by the Deputy Chief of the City Police, Jorge Guillermo Azzolina.”

Respected Argentinian newspaper Clarin said a friend seen with him shortly before he died in his hotel lobby, is reportedly being probed on suspicion of “abandoning” the 31-year-old. It was not immediately clear last night if the trio said to have been placed under investigation, but not yet charged, have been formally questioned as suspects.

It comes after a total of nine raids on properties are said to have taken place. Outlet La Nacion reports that sources involved in the investigation say eight of the nine homes raided are related to the three people being investigated. It also claims one man has been charged with abandonment, and says investigators had called him on the mobile phone numbers provided by the hotel managers on the day of Liam’s death, but he never appeared.

Early on police hunting the singer’s “drug dealer” were said to be focusing on hotel staff. Unconfirmed claims said a Dove soap packet also pictured in leaked photos had been used to smuggle drugs into his hotel room. In one of only two official statements since Liam’s October 16 death investigators linked the tragedy to a substance-induced ‘psychotic episode’ they said they believed he suffered, saying there didn’t appear to be any ‘third-party’ involvement in his balcony plunge.

Liam’s father Geoff flew back to the UK yesterday with his son’s body to prepare for his funeral after nearly three weeks in Argentina. Liam’s body returned to the UK this week in preparation for his funeral. His dad had flown out to Argentina as he waited weeks to be able to bring his son’s body home. Now, his body has been returned to his family, as confirmed by public prosecutor Andrés Madrea.

Dad Geoff flew back to the UK, arriving back with Liam’s body on Thursday morning. Fans who were aware of the plane’s departure tracked the flight all the way to the UK and so many fans kept an eye on the flight that it meant it became the most tracked aircraft in the world. It is believed a service will be held in Liam’s hometown of Wolverhampton later this week. However, it has not yet been confirmed. The service will be an opportunity for his family, friends, and millions of fans a moment to say goodbye to him. Currently, it is not known if Liam’s former One Direction band mates will be in attendance.

A source told MailOnline: “Liam will have a very big send-off, quite probably at a large cathedral somewhere close to his heart. Liam was so loved by so many people, there will obviously be enormous demand and so the service will necessarily be a huge affair.” As details of his funeral emerged, social media users urged others to stay away and let his family grieve in privacy.

Geoff Payne was initially been warned by investigators upon his arrival in Buenos Aires that it would take up to 15 days before all their examinations would be completed.

Just last week local police raided the Casa Sur Hotel where the fall occurred as they followed up on allegations that staff had sold Liam drugs in the hours leading up to his death.

Prosecutors have since explored the theory that Liam was in ‘a state of semi or total unconsciousness’ during an apparent drug-fuelled episode on the morning of his death.

Liam had been in Argentina with long-term girlfriend Kate Cassidy, with the influencer sharing in a touching online tribute to her boyfriend that they had planned to tie the knot next year.

Kate had left the couple’s holiday to return home to the US two days prior to Liam’s death.

Police investigating Liam Payne’s death raid the homes of a ‘friend’ and two workers at the hotel where he died

Police in Argentina investigating the death of Liam Payne have raided the homes of two hotel employees and a ‘friend’ of the former One Direction singer, it has been reported.

The raids were carried out on Tuesday night, while lockers of the workers at the hotel where the 31-year-old died were also searched, law enforcement sources in Buenos Aires told TMZ.

Police believe the employees had been in contact with Liam before he plunged to his death from a third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel last month.

According to TMZ’s report, Liam’s ‘friend’ was identified by police by looking at messages on his phone to see who sold him drugs.

However, it is understood the person officers were looking to speak to was not at home during the raid last night.

This development comes after police raided the same hotel late last month and seized electronic and paper records.

Argentinian officers were following up on allegations that staff had sold Liam drugs in the hours leading up to his death.

A post-mortem examination in the wake of his death determined that the 31-year-old’s cause of death on October 16 was from the head injuries sustained during his fall.

Prosecutors have since explored the theory that Liam was in ‘a state of semi or total unconsciousness’ during an apparent drug-fuelled episode on the morning of his death.

A hotel reception worker made a distressing 999 call requesting ‘urgent’ assistance after Payne had been acting erratically and was escorted back to his hotel room.

The hotel worker made two calls, saying in the first: ‘We have a guest who’s off his head on drugs and is destroying everything in his room. We need someone to come.’

He then phoned back after the line went dead, saying: ‘I don’t know if the guest’s life is in danger. The room has a balcony and we are afraid he might do something.’

Payne was said to have been ‘acting erratically in the hotel lobby and smashed his laptop’ before he ‘had to be carried back to his room’, according to local media.

Seconds later the employee, who identified himself as Esteban, added: ‘Just send an ambulance, only an ambulance.’ Workers had heard a loud sound in the courtyard before the singer’s body was discovered just after 5pm local time (9pm UK time).

The singer had travelled to Argentina earlier last month for his ex-bandmate Niall Horan’s concert.

His girlfriend Kate Cassidy had been with him on the trip but left two days before he died.

She posted a heartbreaking tribute saying she had been at a ‘complete loss’ following his death.

Kate continued: ‘Thank you for all of the kind words and love that has been sent my way. I have been at a complete loss.

‘Nothing about the past few days have felt real. I ask and pray that you’ll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private.

‘Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam.’

Liam Payne’s close friend Rogelio ‘Roger’ Nores tonight denied abandoning the former One Direction star in the hours leading up to his death.

In an exclusive conversation, Roger denied being a suspect in the 31-year-old’s death and rubbished claims police had raided his home in his native Buenos Aires.

It comes as Argentinian prosecutors probing Liam Payne’s death confirmed the arrests of three suspects who are now under formal investigation, with one being an unnamed ‘friend’ of the late pop star.

A description given by authorities appeared to indicate Rogelio ‘Roger’ Nores, who had accompanied Liam in the days before he died, had been charged with ‘abandoning a person followed by death’.

Two hotel workers are among the three individuals now being formally investigated by authorities in connection with Liam’s death, according to ABC News.

Several reports tonight said three people had been ‘charged’ with offences, however sources familiar with the Argentine judicial system said they had instead been arrested and placed under official suspicion, and had not been formally indicted.

In their third official statement released since the star’s death, Argentinian public prosecutors revealed only alcohol, cocaine and an anti-depressant were found in the former One Direction singer’s system.

Despite previous speculation, they have ruled out that the pop star took his own life after falling from the balcony.

The statement from the  investigation led by prosecutor Andrés Esteban Madrea confirmed ‘unlawful conduct’ was discovered in relation to the pop star’s death.

The statement read: ‘Three people were charged with the crimes of abandonment of a person followed by death, supply and facilitation of narcotics.

‘From the beginning of the investigation and within a few days, exhaustive and meticulous actions and measures were carried out to clarify the circumstances surrounding the death of the artist.’

They divulged that 800 hours of CCTV footage was examined as well as several dozen statements having been received from hotel staff, family, friends and medical professionals.

They confirmed that they had analysed the pop star’s mobile phone during the investigation as well as the hotel guest registry as well as bar and restaurant orders.

They also confirmed that necessary thanatological and laboratory studies were carried out and completed during the post-mortem.

The statement continued: ‘As a result of the evidence gathered and after analysing the various bodies of evidence and numerous documentary annexes and the background of the case, prosecutor Andrea Madrea formally charged three people, requesting their indictment and detention in a 180-page report presented last Friday before Judge Bruniard.’

They confirmed that an individual who accompanied the artist on a daily basis during his stay in Buenos Aires has been charged with abandonment of a person followed by death.

The person in question has also been charged with the supply and facilitation of narcotics, according to authorities.

The second defendant who is a hotel worker has been charged with the supply of cocaine to Liam Payne during the period he was at the hotel.

The third person has also been charged with supplying narcotics to the pop star on October 14, prosecutors say.

It comes as Police investigating the death of Liam Payne raided the homes of two hotel employees and a ‘friend’ of the former One Direction singer on Tuesday in the province of Buenos Aires.

Toxicology reports, which have already been communicated with Liam’s family, revealed he had consumed alcohol, cocaine and a prescribed anti-depressant in the last 72-hours of his life.

An autopsy carried out by Forensic Medical Corps (CMF) concluded ‘polytraumatisms’ and ‘internal and external haemorrhage’ was the cause of pop star’s death.

Prosecutors confirmed that the injuries were ‘compatible with those produced by a fall from a height and that self-injury of any kind and/or the physical intervention of third parties has been ruled out’.

Geoff Payne was initially warned by investigators upon his arrival in Buenos Aires that it would take up to 15 days before all their examinations were over.

Liam had been in Argentina with long-term girlfriend Kate Cassidy, leaving the couple’s holiday to return home to the US two days prior to his death.

The pop star’s journey to superstardom began at only 14-years-old Liam impressed XFactor judges with his own version of Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra – but was later eliminated from the show.

However Payne gave his singing career another go auditioning for the competition again in 2010, where he quickly shot to fame as part of One Direction.

He and his former bandmates Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, were brought together by Simon Cowell and former judge Nicole Scherzinger who saw their potential as a group.

After just a few weeks of getting to know each other and non-stop rehearsing, the group impressed Simon at their Judge’s Houses audition and sailed through to the live shows.

The pop Svengali later admitted to Rolling Stone that it took him ‘about a millionth of a second’ to spot the group’s worldwide potential.

The fan reaction was instant too, with 1D hysteria soon dwarfing the show. Despite the adoration, the band ultimately finished in third place on the X Factor but shortly afterwards Cowell sealed their fate by signing the fivesome to a reported £2million Syco contract.

Keen to capitalise on the boys’ already devoted fanbase, Cowell moved quickly with recording for the band’s debut album beginning in January 2011.

By September of that year One Direction’s first single was released with What Makes You Beautiful soaring to number one on the UK Singles Chart, after becoming the most pre-ordered Sony Music Entertainment single in history.

Their debut album, Up All Night was also a best seller, becoming the UK’s fastest-selling debut album of 2011, with the record leading to their first tour which kicked off in the UK that December.
