Late Queen’s heartbreaking final act for her people that ‘meant more to her than anything’

Shortly before the late Queen Elizabeth passed away, she conducted one final act in front of the public, and there was a heartbreaking reason behind it, that showed just how much it meant to the former monarch

The late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee saw celebrations take place all across the country, but despite being all smiles during public appearances, the former monarch didn’t feel particularly well throughout the weekend of celebrations and even had to back out of some of the events.

She didn’t appear at the Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Epsom Derby, or the Platinum Jubilee concert, but after a last-minute appeal from King Charles – then Prince of Wales – she agreed to make one final appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony with the other senior royals, at the culmination of the pageant that marked the end of festivities.

The late Queen was reportedly unsure about whether she would be able to attend the balcony appearance, but King Charles was keen for her to make the journey and push through, so she would see the great affection that was waiting for her in the crowds below. Royal experts came together to discuss the historic moment – which saw Queen Elizabeth appear and wave to the public who had gathered to see her whilst donning a bright green ensemble – during a Channel 5 documentary, Secrets of the Royal Palaces.

One royal expert – writer Emily Andrews – explained just why the moment would have meant so much to the late Queen, Britain’s longest-reigning monarch. “She felt it was her duty to come to London, to acknowledge the crowds,” the expert said. “But it wasn’t just about duty, it was about Charles wanting the queen to see how much she was loved,” she added, noting that the former monarch “always put duty above personal pain, above family, above personal sacrifice. Duty always comes first.”

The documentary also explored claims made by Robert Jobson in his book Our King, which revealed that behind the scenes the royal household had laid incredibly detailed plans to mitigate any mobility or health challenges the former Queen faced during the weekend – including the secret use of a wheelchair when she was out of the public’s sight.

Andrews explained, “‘The crowd didn’t know any of this…They didn’t know she was ill, they didn’t know she was suffering in pain and they didn’t understand why the Queen wasn’t there.” However, Charles’s persuasive phone call worked to bring his mother to London, to make the appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony – which would turn out to be her last.

After hearing out spiritual leaders, King Charles is reportedly open to a ‘truce’ with his estranged son Prince Harry.

The father and son’s bond fractured after Harry and his wife Meghan quit royal duties in 2020 for a new life in California, with the Duke of Sussex then railing against his family in his Netflix series and controversial memoir, Spare. However the King is now allegedly relying on his strong faith to help the pair overcome their struggles.

The Mail on Sunday claims the monarch has drawn comfort from the guidance of religious leaders and after taking ‘spiritual nourishment’ from his discussions, the 75-year-old is open to the idea of a reconciliation with Harry.

The publication reports that following a meeting between father and son in February after the news of the King’s cancer was revealed, relations ‘deteriorated’.

Just hours after the shock announcement was made to the world, the Duke dashed across the Atlantic back to the UK to see his father. But many were left puzzled when the pair only shared a 30-minute meeting at Clarence House before Charles took a helicopter to Sandringham without his youngest son.

According to The Sun, the short meeting was down to a very important reason. The publication reported that after his diagnosis, ‘Covid-style tiers’ were put into place to limit his contact with people and to minimise the potential risk of him contracting any infections while undergoing treatment.

And with Harry flying 5,000 miles in a commercial airliner to see his father, the newspaper reports it was “not ideal” as the King had to “reduce his social contact”. After his diagnosis was revealed, Charles stayed away from public-facing duties for several months before easing himself back into his summer programme of events.

Later this year, he is set to travel to Australia and Samoa for a tour. A source close to the King told the paper: “The sun wasn’t shining in February but it is shining now.” However, since that meeting, Harry has not come face to face with his father despite them both being in London on the same day in May.

A source has now said of the King: “Faith has always been a part of Charles’s life and something he’s explored, but since becoming King it is playing a more central role. That reliance on faith and quiet contemplation has become a comfort and asset to him and helps him cope with the role as he adapts to being King.”

And of his beliefs aiding a possible reconciliation, they added: “Harry will always be Charles’s much-loved son. He has faith that Harry could return. He misses the bond they once had, and the door will always remain open to him and his family. He does not want years of discord and disharmony clouding his reign.”

Harry came to the UK to attend a service at St Paul’s Cathedral to mark 10 years of the Invictus Games but he did not meet his dad, with a statement suggesting the King was too busy to see him. But it was then reported that Charles had offered his son a room at Buckingham Palace for his trip to London, but Harry declined it and opted for a hotel.

A source told The Times : “I don’t know what more the King could have done. He offered Harry to stay at Buckingham Palace but it seems even that wasn’t good enough. It was far from clear what the duke’s plans were. When it came to it there was no space in the King’s diary in between treatment and other scheduled events.”

Meanwhile, last month it was reported that father and son are no longer speaking with one long-running issue seeing their estrangement deepen. Harry has been embroiled in a long-running battle over his security when he comes to the UK after he automatically lost the right to his police protection when he stepped down as a working royal.

He has lost his subsequent court battles to have it reinstated for him, Meghan and their two children and is planning an appeal. According to PEOPLE magazine, Harry believes his dad could help to have this reinstated, although this has been dismissed as “wholly inaccurate” by a palace source.

And now a friend of Harry’s told the magazine: “He gets ‘unavailable right now’. His calls go unanswered. He has tried to reach out about the King’s health, but those calls go unanswered too.” While another friend added: “Harry is frightened and feels the only person who can do anything about it is his father,” while another source added: “Harry is determined to protect his own family at all costs.”

They added that the couple “didn’t feel they had a choice”. “The only option was to leave – for their sanity. I do think they thought if they got out of this bubble, there would be less focus on them,” the insider said.

Painful! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Lose Inheritance Snub By King Charles For Allegedly Disrespecting the Monarchy

The Windsor family has been no stranger to drama over the years, but the latest chapter in the saga seems to have reached a new level of intensity. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have found themselves on the receiving end of a harsh rebuke from the newly crowned King Charles III, and the consequences could be severe.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Allegedly Cut from Royal Inheritance by King Charles

The tension between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and the British royal family has reportedly escalated to a new peak, with claims that King Charles III has decided to exclude the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from the royal inheritance. This decision is seen as a direct consequence of what the King views as disrespectful behavior towards the monarchy.

    The Alleged Snub

Following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022, the royal family faced not only a period of mourning but also a resurfacing of tensions, particularly with Harry and Meghan. The couple, who stepped back from royal duties in 2020 and moved to California, had already strained their relationship with the family. However, their actions—or perceived lack of involvement—during the mourning period for the Queen reportedly sparked further outrage within the royal establishment.

King Charles, known for his strict adherence to royal protocol, was allegedly incensed by what he saw as a lack of respect and loyalty from his younger son and daughter-in-law. According to sources close to the palace, the King was deeply offended by the couple’s behavior during this sensitive time, viewing it as a challenge to his authority and the values of the monarchy.

    Financial and Emotional Impact

In response to this perceived disrespect, King Charles is said to have made the drastic decision to exclude Harry and Meghan from the royal inheritance. The inheritance, estimated to be worth over £100 million, was to be divided among the royal family members, including a significant portion for Harry, Meghan, and their children, Archie and Lilibet. However, with this reported decree, that portion will now be redirected to other branches of the family, leaving the Sussexes without the expected financial support.

Royal commentator Samantha Maiden described the situation as a “devastating blow” for Harry and Meghan, who were allegedly counting on the inheritance to support their life in the U.S. and their various philanthropic endeavors. This move by King Charles is being interpreted by some as a clear message that Harry and Meghan are no longer welcome within the royal fold.

    Ongoing Royal Feud

The reasons behind King Charles’ decision are said to be multifaceted, but they largely revolve around the perception that Harry and Meghan have failed to uphold the traditions and values of the monarchy. The couple’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, where they made serious allegations against the royal family, including claims of racism and neglect of Meghan’s mental health, is believed to be a major point of contention.

This latest development has reignited the ongoing feud between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family. While Harry and Meghan have remained publicly silent on the matter, sources suggest they are deeply hurt and angry over the King’s actions, feeling betrayed and isolated. Some speculate that the couple might consider legal action to challenge the King’s decision, though such a move could further deepen the rift.

As the situation continues to unfold, the future of Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the royal family remains uncertain. The ongoing conflict appears to be far from resolution, with both sides seemingly entrenched in their positions. The world watches closely as this latest chapter in the Windsor family’s saga plays out, wondering whether the Sussexes will be able to weather this storm or if they will remain on the periphery of royal life.

Princess Anne had her suspicions about Meghan Markle when the American tied the knot with Prince Harry, back in 2018.

The only daughter of the late Queen Elizabeth, 73, is said to have believed that the “Suits” actress, 42, would have a “short shelf-life” as a member of the royal family.

Her prescience was soon proven — in 2020, Markle and Harry, 39, took a step back as senior figures of the Firm, ultimately moving to Montecito, Calif.

Royal expert Neil Sean gave some insight into the relationship between the princess and Markle, saying that when the two women first met, “Anne gave very sage advice to the new royal.”

“This senior royal takes no nonsense, much like her father the late Duke of Edinburgh,” Sean said in a recent video on his YouTube channel.

When the Duchess of Sussex first encountered Anne, she “left the meeting dumbfounded” after the latter said that she should view being a royal as “job” rather than a route to being famous.

“She [Anne] does endless amounts of engagements. She turns up, does the job and does not seek the limelight,” Sean explained.

He continued: “Princess Anne reiterated this mantra, she pointed out that it wasn’t a working monarchy, it was a job, you turn up on time, you do your research, and do the duty.”

Sean noted that Markle “failed to warm” to Anne, leading the accomplished equestrian to believe that the duchess’ days were numbered.

While Anne is one of the hardest working royals around, she still has a “soft spot” for Harry — despite him abandoning the crown.

“Reporting Royalty” author Jennie Bond told OK! Magazine earlier this year how the one-time Olympian has become “furious” with the Duke of Sussex in recent months, following the release of his bombshell memoir “Spare” in January.

“I’m sure she is angry at the damage he’s done to the royal reputation because she works so hard,” she said. “She says what she thinks, she doesn’t pretend anything.”

Anne also warned this past May how a “slimmed-down” monarchy wasn’t such a good idea following Harry and Markle’s exit.

In an interview with Canada’s CBC News, she was asked about the idea and shared that the concept “doesn’t sound like a good idea from where I’m standing.”

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Screamed In Agony as Princess Anne Cancel All their Rights For Netflix Deal

The royal family drama has reached a fever pitch once again, and this time the stakes are higher than ever before. In a shocking turn of events, Princess Anne has single-handedly canceled the lucrative Netflix deal that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had signed just a few years ago.

The move has left the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reeling, with sources close to the couple describing their reaction as one of “pure anguish and despair.”

Royal Drama Intensifies as Princess Anne Allegedly Cancels Harry and Meghan’s Netflix Deal

The ongoing tensions between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and the British royal family have reached new heights with recent reports suggesting that Princess Anne played a key role in canceling the couple’s lucrative Netflix deal. This dramatic development has reportedly left Harry and Meghan devastated, throwing their plans for financial independence into disarray.

The Netflix Deal: A Major Setback

The couple’s multi-year production deal with Netflix, estimated to be worth over $100 million, was seen as a cornerstone of their post-royal life. However, Netflix recently announced that it would not renew the deal, citing the couple’s inability to deliver content that resonated with audiences. Royal commentator Nigel Fairweather noted, “Harry and Meghan’s projects just never seemed to catch fire the way Netflix was hoping.”

But the story took a more complex turn when insiders revealed that Netflix’s decision was not entirely independent. According to multiple sources, it was Princess Anne who orchestrated the cancellation, using her influence within the royal family to pressure Netflix into terminating the deal. Anne, who has been openly critical of Harry and Meghan’s actions, reportedly leveraged her royal connections to convince Netflix that continuing their association with the couple would harm the company’s reputation.

    Harry and Meghan’s Emotional Turmoil

The news of Princess Anne’s alleged involvement has reportedly plunged Harry and Meghan into deep distress. Sources close to the couple describe a scene of emotional turmoil, with Meghan in tears and Harry pacing in frustration. The couple had pinned their hopes on the Netflix deal as a means to achieve financial independence and fund their lifestyle in California. Without this revenue stream, they now face a precarious financial situation and may have to reassess their spending.

Adding to their woes is the belief that Princess Anne’s actions were part of a broader strategy by the royal family to undermine them. The couple reportedly feels betrayed and isolated, convinced that the royal family is systematically cutting them off from sources of power and influence.

    Potential Legal Battle Looming?

As Harry and Meghan grapple with the fallout, there are reports that they may be exploring legal action against Netflix and potentially even Princess Anne. However, legal experts are skeptical about the viability of such a move, given the royal family’s formidable resources and legal expertise.

The cancellation of the Netflix deal is a significant blow to Harry and Meghan’s plans, raising questions about their future and the sustainability of their independent ventures. As the royal feud continues to unfold, the public remains captivated by the high-stakes drama, wondering what the next chapter will bring for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Prince Harry Expresses Frustration Over Althorp Estate Inheritance Issue

Recent reports have surfaced revealing Prince Harry’s disappointment and criticism directed at Prince William for failing to secure Princess Diana’s ancestral home, the Althorp Estate, for their family. The estate, located in Northampton, UK, holds significant sentimental value as it serves as both Princess Diana’s childhood home and her final resting place.

Prince Harry’s frustration stems from the deep emotional connection he has with Althorp Estate, where Princess Diana spent her formative years and where she is buried. The estate, owned by the Spencer family for over five centuries, is more than just a piece of property for Harry; it represents a tangible link to his mother and her legacy.

According to sources close to the Duke of Sussex, he had always hoped that the estate would remain within the immediate family, possibly as a shared legacy between him and Prince William. However, recent developments have dashed those hopes. The estate is reportedly set to be transferred to another royal, which has left Harry feeling betrayed and let down by his brother. The decision, which was ultimately beyond William’s control, has nonetheless fueled Harry’s sense of alienation from the royal family.

This latest episode adds another layer to the ongoing tensions between the two brothers. Harry’s frustration is not just about the loss of Althorp but also about what it symbolizes—another missed opportunity to honor their mother’s memory in a meaningful way. Friends of the Duke have indicated that Harry believes William could have done more to secure the estate, which has only deepened the rift between them.

The emotional weight of losing Althorp is compounded by the fact that Harry sees it as part of Diana’s enduring legacy. For him, the estate represents more than just a physical location; it’s a place where the memory of his mother is most alive, and where her influence can be felt most strongly. The news that Althorp will pass into the hands of another royal has left Harry feeling not only disappointed but also further distanced from his royal roots.

As the rift between the brothers continues to widen, the issue of Althorp Estate serves as yet another painful reminder of the complicated dynamics within the royal family. For Prince Harry, the loss of the estate is not just a matter of inheritance but a personal loss that resonates deeply, adding to the ongoing struggles he faces in reconciling his past with his present.

Prince Harry and Prince William seemingly avoided each other at a family event as the feud between the two royal brothers carries on.

Harry, 39, and William, 42, both attended a memorial service for their mother’s brother-in-law, Lord Robert Fellowes, on Thursday, according to the BBC.

The Duke of Sussex departed from his home in Montecito, California, to join his family, including the Prince of Wales, at St. Mary’s Church in Snettisham, England.

Meghan Markle Contemplates Legal Action Against Royal Family Following Charles’ Decision to Remove Archie from Line of Succession: ‘UNFAIR’

In a move that has sent shockwaves through both the British royal family and the public, Meghan Markle is reportedly considering legal action against the Royal Family after King Charles III made a controversial decision to remove her son, Archie, from the line of succession. This development has sparked widespread debate and criticism, with Meghan labeling the move as “unfair” and expressing her intent to challenge it through legal channels.

The issue began when King Charles III announced a significant change in the line of succession. Traditionally, the line of succession follows a clear protocol, but recent adjustments have led to Archie’s removal from the immediate line of succession. This decision is reportedly rooted in changes to royal protocols and Charles’ desire to modernize the monarchy’s approach to succession.

Meghan Markle has been vocal about her dissatisfaction with the decision. In a statement issued through her legal team, Meghan described the removal of Archie from the line of succession as a direct attack on her family and a move that undermines the values of fairness and justice. She has expressed deep concern over how this decision might impact Archie’s future and the legacy of her family.

“To exclude Archie from the line of succession is not only unjust but also reflects a broader issue of fairness within the royal institution,” Meghan stated. “We are deeply troubled by this move and are exploring all legal avenues to address this injustice.”

The potential legal action is significant as it could challenge the very foundation of royal succession protocols. Meghan’s legal team is reportedly consulting with constitutional experts and solicitors specializing in royal law to evaluate the viability of their case. The situation has drawn parallels to previous legal battles involving royal family members, but this case is unique in its focus on succession rights for a non-heir family member.

Public reaction has been mixed. Supporters of Meghan argue that her stance is a necessary fight for fairness and equality within the royal system. They believe that the decision to remove Archie reflects outdated practices and fails to consider the evolving dynamics of the modern monarchy. Critics, however, contend that such legal battles could further tarnish the public image of the royal family and undermine its credibility.

This situation is unprecedented in modern British history. Historically, changes to the line of succession have been rare and often involve extensive deliberation within the royal family. The last major change occurred with the passing of the Succession to the Crown Act 2013, which ended the practice of male primogeniture. However, the current situation involving Archie is more complex, as it involves an individual who was previously in the line but is now being removed.

The Royal Family has yet to issue an official statement on the matter. However, sources close to the family suggest that the decision was made with careful consideration and reflects the need to adapt to contemporary royal protocols. The move has been described as part of a broader effort to streamline royal roles and responsibilities, particularly in light of the changing roles of younger royals.

As Meghan Markle and her legal team prepare to challenge King Charles III’s decision, the world watches with bated breath. The outcome of this legal battle could have far-reaching implications for the British monarchy and its approach to succession. For now, Meghan’s assertion of unfairness and her fight for her family’s place in royal history remain at the forefront of this unfolding drama.

Rumours have been circulating that Meghan Markle is set to make a big return to Instagram, with one expert suggesting she could overtake Kate Middleton in terms of popularity

Meghan Markle has faced a tough few months recently, but things could be about to change for the Duchess of Sussex.

Speculation has been mounting that Meghan is set to return to Instagram and relaunch her popular blog The Tig, with one PR expert suggesting she could overtake her sister-in-law Kate Middleton when it comes to popularity. A recent survey showed Kate and her husband Prince William way out in front in terms of popularity among the public.

However, PR to the stars Mayah Riaz believes this will soon change. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, she said: “It’s no doubt when Meghan re-joins Instagram she will overtake Kate in terms of popularity.

“Kate’s Instagram is curated with huge precision. There are things which Kate isn’t able to post.”

“She wont have to run it by anyone for approval before posting it,” Mayah explained. Speaking about what we could expect from Meghan’s Instagram, she added: “We can see all aspects of Meghan and her family life.”

Mayah said Meghan is likely to grab widespread media attention with her Instagram account. She told us: “We don’t often see Kate’s Instagram posts making headlines. However, Meghan’s life on Instagram will lead to headlines. We can also expect to hear news of projects announced first on her Instagram.”

Meghan and Harry were recently spotted dancing the night away at Beyoncé’s concert in California. Mayah said: “We have seen footage of Meghan dancing at Beyoncé’s concert as well as public display of affection with Harry. We would never see Kate and William like this.

“This is why there will be day and night difference between Meghan and Kate’s Instagram. Let’s not forget, people who love to hate Meghan will bizarrely still follow Meghan’s Instagram.”

However, she warned Meghan could be targeted by online trolls. “We are more likely to believe that Meghan herself will be posting on her Instagram. This will lead to an explosion of followers very quickly when it’s confirmed that @meghan is her account.

“Along with the explosion of following, I fear that a lot of it will be trolling. We have seen the amount of hate directed her way on Twitter (X) and sadly, I think that will follow on Instagram too.”

Prince Andrew Forced to Pack Up and Leave Royal Residence After Camilla Pressures King Charles to Kick Him Out!

The Sun on Sunday reported that Prince Andrew’s older brother, King Charles III, did not renew the contract for the Duke of York’s private security team.

In 2019, Prince Andrew announced that he would be taking a break from his duties as a monarch following the disclosure of his ties to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In the fall, it will expire after the prince lost his police protection in 2022.

The Sun reported that the king, who is battling cancer, has been paying for Andrew’s security at Royal Lodge.

Charles is said to spend nearly $4 million annually on the security team. A close-up of Prince Andrew in his matching black suit as he walks behind King Charles.

King Charles III, according to a report in the Sunday Sun, did not extend Andrew’s private security team’s contract when it came to an end in the fall. According to royal experts who previously spoke with Fox News Digital, the king wants Andrew to move out of his lavish 31-room home with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson. The Queen Mother, their grandmother, lived there until her death in 2002.

In 2003, Andrew bought the house for more than $1 million, according to the UK Times. According to reports, he has spent more than $9 million on renovations and repairs. He currently pays approximately $337,000 in rent annually. The property is said to be worth $37 million and needs about $53,000 annually to be maintained. The lease can only be passed on to members of Andrew’s immediate family, including his two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

According to the Times, when Prince Andrew dies, his lease to Royal Lodge can be passed on to his two daughters, Princess Eugenie (left) and Princess Beatrice (right), both of whom are wearing navy blue coats. After being asked to leave, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s former home in the United Kingdom is still empty.

Due to his connections to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, it was previously reported that the disgraced Duke was likely to reduce his staff. According to the Times, security would be provided if Andrew moved into Frogmore Cottage, which is located within the secured grounds of Windsor Castle. Meghan Markle, wearing a white coat dress and a matching hat, was standing next to Prince Harry in a black suit with medals.

In 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex resigned as senior royals. However, a decision might be made quickly. On August 19th, Scotland held a brief ceremony to welcome the king. His annual summer retreat will take place at Balmoral Castle, where he will stay. Andrew is expected to join him, according to the Times.

She shared that the king wants to simplify things for his brother by moving him into Frogmore Cottage. A great many dollars have been spent on refreshing and modernizing the property, and there is a very sizable amount of room, Scoffield asserted.

Prince Andrew is not a team player. He is entitled and wants what he believes the late Queen Elizabeth promised to him. Since she has passed away, his mother was his most powerful ally. He lost any ability to negotiate when he lost his mother, Scoffield continued. He has two very supportive daughters who do plead his case to their uncle. She was a significant source of support for the unhappy Duke. It is unfortunate that Andrew has placed this additional burden on the king by refusing to follow instructions, say palace sources.

The king has gone to great lengths to seek healing and peace after a terrible year for his health. Andrew continues to be a source of irritation for him because of his controversial relationship with Epstein. Andrew resigned from his position as king in 2019. Additionally, he lost his honorary military titles. The queen also banned him from using the title “His Royal Highness” in official settings and removed his honorary leadership of various charities known as royal patronages before she died in 2022.
