Four months after Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift began their whirlwind romance, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes revealed how the tight end handles the big conversations surrounding him.

Patrick Mahomes is giving a toast to his real friend, Travis Kelce—who doesn’t care about the “he said, she said.”

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback recently commented on the craze surrounding his teammate over the last few months amid his relationship with Taylor Swift.

“It’s been cool to watch for me because he has all that attention but he’s just been himself the whole time,” Patrick told NBC Sports in an article published Jan. 24. “He’s still Travis Kelce. He still will walk through the stadium and treat every single person like they’re his best friend. And he’s going to be like that in the locker room every single day. It hasn’t been any different.”

And while Travis’ relationship with the “Karma” singer has given him a big reputation, Patrick added that the tight end’s hosting gig on Saturday Night Live in March—six months before his epic love story with Taylor went public—was a “dream of his.”

“It was really, really cool,” Patrick continued. “He knows all the skits from guys that were on Saturday Night Live. He was telling me the ones from before I was even born. I was like, ‘Trav, I’m not the same age as you, I don’t even know who that is.’”

Travis’ fandom of SNL came to fruition again late last year, when he and Taylor had a date night at Studio 8H to support Ice Spice as the musical guest at the Oct. 14 show with host Pete Davidson. The Chiefs player appeared in a sketch about the hysteria surrounding his relationship with the Grammy winner, while Taylor introduced the rapper for one of her songs.

And as for how Patrick feels about Travis’ relationship? He thinks it’s nice to have a new friend in Taylor.

“It’s been cool to interact with her because she’s top tier of her profession—and how she drives and she becomes that, it’s really cool to hear about and to see,” he said on a Dec. 25 episode of CBS Mornings. “He’s lucky enough to be with a great girl and a great woman.”

Taylor also appears to be enjoying her time supporting the guys on the Chiefs—having attended 11 games so far, often with Patrick’s wife, Brittany Mahomes. Read on for highlights from her latest visit to Chiefs Kingdom.

Fans of Taylor Swift are going mad as AI-generated pictures of the singer are circulating on the internet. Lately, AI-generated content has been a topic of great controversy. Several renowned personalities like Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, and Pope Francis have been victims of AI controversy. The Swifties are infuriated after the Blank Space singer becomes the latest victim of the infamous trend.

AI or Artificial Intelligence has made several aspects of our daily life easy. However, we have witnessed several dangerous effects of the technology recently. From snatching numerous jobs from ordinary people to the controversial use of deep fakes, AI has been a notorious menace, especially for celebrities.

Taylor Swift is currently one of the biggest names on the internet. The singer has a massive fanbase worldwide, and Swifties can go to any extent for their idol. The fans are wildly infuriated as some fake AI-generated NSFW pictures of the Bad Blood singer have taken over the internet.

Swifties have been outraged by the photos and have filled X (formerly Twitter) with pictures from her Eras Tour to raise voices against the offensive images. They have also urged the singer to take legal action and give a lesson to the culprit. In the past, we have seen several celebrities take legal action for unfair usage of Artificial Intelligence.

According to Variety, last year, Scarlett Johansson also took legal action against an AI app, Lisa AI, that stole her likeness without any consent for their advertisement. The presently deleted advertisement stole a small clip from behind-the-scene footage of Black Widow and used a fake voice imitating her to promote the app.

Scarlett Johansson’s attorney, Kevin Yorn, did not take the situation lightly and publicly stated- “Per our usual course of action in these circumstances, we will deal with it with all legal remedies that we will have.” Swifties have also urged Taylor Swift to tackle the situation legally and put the culprit behind bars.

Cardi B was also embroiled in an AI controversy when an individual used fake images and AI audio of her former husband, Offset, to claim that the latter was cheating behind her back. The WAP fame took to a now-deleted Twitter voice note to threaten the user with legal action.

According to TMZ, Cardi B openly told the user that she would take legal action against the games being played with AI.

“All these little games that you guys want to play online, it’s going to be over with. You’re going to be getting sued, and we’re going to make an example out of you. Yeah, and that was a terrible AI voice, by the way.”
 

Sadly, although numerous people have taken action against these individuals, there has not been much progress. Unfair usage of AI and deep fake controversies are still prevalent and have haunted uncountable people around the globe. Scarlett Johansson (via Washington Post) has also claimed it to be a useless pursuit as the internet is a vast wormhole of darkness.

The Black Widow star said that no matter how demeaning it is, the victims have to fight for their own image. It will be seen if Taylor Swift takes any legal steps and reaches to the source of the controversy.

Travis Kelce is ensuring he has no bad blood with Taylor Swift’s father, days after meeting him for the first time.

The Kansas City Chief’s tight end spoke at length about his trip to Argentina to visit Swift this past weekend on his podcast “New Heights” with brother and fellow NFL player Jason Kelce.

“How does it feel to officially be the guy on the Chiefs?” Jason inquired. During her Saturday night performance, Swift sweetly changed the lyrics to her song “Karma” to reference her new beau. “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me,” she sang.

“You mean ‘Karma’?” Travis replied. “Yeah no, I had no clue that — well, I might have had a little bit of a clue, but definitely when I heard it come out of her mouth, still shocked me… I was like oh… she really just said that?”

“You were so shocked you left Scott [Swift] hanging. Scott’s over here looking for a high-five,” Jason joked, referencing a video that went viral of the two men reacting to the lyric change. In the video, Scott can be seen trying to give Travis a celebratory high-five.

“Yeah, Mr. Swift, I apologize, big guy. Aw man, I missed that. I never miss a high-five, too. Big high-five guy! It’s the most electric thing you can do at an event… So sorry,” he reiterated.

Jason noted that Scott, historically a Philadelphia Eagles fan, was wearing a Kansas City Chiefs lanyard at Swift’s Saturday concert. Jason is currently a center for the Eagles. “You’re gonna let this man’s devilishly good looks and relationship with your daughter sway you from a lifetime of fandom, Scott?” Jason teased.

“I might have persuaded him at dinner the night before when I met him,” Travis clarified.

“Yeah, Mr. Swift, I apologize, big guy. Aw man, I missed that. I never miss a high-five, too. Big high-five guy. It’s the most electric thing you can do at an event… So sorry.”

Travis shared that he arrived in Argentina on Friday, with hopes to watch Swift perform her second of three shows in the capital city. Swift is currently on the international leg of her Eras Tour. The Friday show was postponed due to poor weather conditions.

“She wasn’t too happy about it,” Travis revealed. “She kind of prides herself on performing through like weather or rain and things like that, but when it’s unsafe to her and her crew and everybody in the stadium, you got to do what you got to do. But it wasn’t canceled — it was postponed, as she noted.”

The couple was spotted out to dinner after Swift shared with her followers the news about her concert.

“Really the only night we had a chance to go to dinner was the night the show got postponed, so we didn’t wanna just go and have a blast throughout the city like we didn’t care about the show. So, we made sure we stayed in the hotel and kind of kept to ourselves,” Travis said of his downtime with Swift after they grabbed dinner.

“It’s crazy how many sold-out shows she has,” Travis gushed. “And these venues that she keeps going to… I was blown away… It was an electric crowd, too. And for everybody who went to the shows, Taylor was on record saying it was one of her favorite places to play. So hats off to you guys for showing the love.”

“For those of you who haven’t seen all the videos of me on your TikTok and your Instagram feed, I was enjoying myself down there in Buenos Aires. The show was even more electric, knowing I had a little bit more to enjoy for… Taylor absolutely ripped it. She killed it. And it looked like she was having some fun up there,” he continued.

After the show on Saturday was over, Swift was spotted gleefully running into Travis’ arms and giving him a kiss. The video went viral online, with fans in disbelief at their public display of affection.

In one snap, Swift, 34, stuck out her tongue while holding up a plastic cup filled with champagne in one hand and wrapping her other arm around Kylie Kelce, who is married to Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce.

The “Cruel Summer” singer was also featured in a group shot in which her boyfriend and several of his teammates smiled and raised their hands in a celebratory pose.

Travis, also 34, gave a huge smile while making a horn sign with one hand and holding a canned beverage in the other.

The tight end, however, was saddened at the jeering directed at, amongst other things, his girlfriend Taylor Swift by fans at Highmark Stadium.

Kelce then reflected on the heart signs he directed at Bills fans during warmups and his two touchdown celebrations on the latest episode of his ‘New Heights’ podcast.

While refraining from commenting, Taylor Swift’s official account liked the post of the podcast clip. The singer seemingly approved of her romantic partner’s message of ‘spreading the love’ amongst the derogatory chants directed at the couple and even the Mahomes family (according to Kelce). “I’m not going to relay it, but some things were said about the family. Swift got candid about the timeline of her relationship with Kelce in an interview for Time’s 2023 Person of the Year. The pop star explained that it all began when the Chiefs’ tight end “very adorably put me on blast on his podcast.”

Kelce talked about going to see Swift in concert on her Eras tour in the July 26 episode of his New Heights podcast (via YouTube). He told his brother and co-host Jason Kelce that he was “butthurt” he didn’t get to give Swift a friendship bracelet “with my number on it.”

“I thought [that] was metal as hell … We started hanging out right after that,” Swift told Time.

Swift and Kelce went public with their romance in September when she attended a Chiefs game with his mom, Donna Kelce. By that time, the pair’s relationship was already fairly serious.

“So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other,” Swift said. “By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple.”

“I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game?” she added. “We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”

For Swift, attending Kelce’s games is all about supporting her beau, not making headlines or increasing the audience for NFL games. (When she attended her second NFL game on Oct. 1, female viewership was up by more than 35%, Variety reported.)

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care … The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other,” she said.

As for critics who say her presence at Chiefs games is a distraction? Swift doesn’t really care.

“I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in…There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once…I’m just there to support Travis,” she said.

“I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads,” she went on to say. “Football is awesome, it turns out … I’ve been missing out my whole life.”
