The Royal Family sent a subtle message to Prince Harry in a touching Father’s Day message.
To celebrate Father’s Day on Sunday, the Royal Family’s official social media accounts posted archive video footage of King Charles as a young boy with his late father, Prince Philip.
They captioned the post: “Wishing all Dads, and those who may be missing their parents today, a relaxing Father’s Day. Footage sourced from BFI National Archive.”
The phrase “those who may be missing their parents” could be a subtle message to the Duke of Sussex, 39, who lives in California.

In 2020, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped back from their positions as working royals and moved to the US.
In the subsequent four years, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have publicised many details about their rift with members of the Royal Family, including the King.
Earlier this year, it was reported that the rift between Prince Harry and his father could be healing, as the duke made a swift dash across the Atlantic to meet his father after learning about his cancer diagnosis.
Harry later told Good Morning America: “I jumped on a plane and went to go see him as soon as I could.
“Look, I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”
The duke, who declined to comment further on his father’s diagnosis, added that he hopes to see Charles again soon.
He said: “I’ve got other trips planned that will take me through the UK, or back to the UK, and so I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can.”
The Royal Family’s Father’s Day message also showed the great bond between the King and the late Duke of Edinburgh.
Royal Scandal? Prince William and Kate’s Body Language Sparks Major Controversy! Their Body Reaction Hints at Hidden Drama – What’s Really Going On?
Prince William’s and Princess Kate’s body language during her first public appearance since her abdominal surgery in January has gone viral.
Kate spent the first half of 2024 resting after the January 16 surgery and later being diagnosed with cancer, for which she began chemotherapy in late February.
Before announcing her diagnosis, she was the subject of wild and sometimes morbid conspiracy theories, which appeared to have been undermined by her dramatic return to the limelight for Saturday’s Trooping the Colour ceremony, which marked King Charles’ birthday.
The princess’s lengthy absence from public life brought a focus on Kate’s and William’s body language as they looked out at the crowd from the Buckingham Palace balcony on Saturday.
One clip posted on X (formerly Twitter) by a Prince Harry and Meghan Markle supporter, which was viewed 4.5 million times and liked 3,200 times, appeared to show William scolding Kate.
However, a longer version of the moment that available on YouTube seems to show that he was leaning forward to try to talk to the king, who turns his head to reply moments after the Twitter version cuts out.
Newsweek reached out by email to Kensington Palace for comment.
The post referenced a backlash against Harry and Meghan in the British media over the timing of an unrelated Instagram post, about her new brand of jam, by a friend of theirs, Nacho Figueras, on the same day Kate announced her first public appearance since Christmas Day.
It read: “I knew it wasn’t long before they say Meghan is overshadowing Kate where is the so-called body language experts when you need them. When y’all come for #PrinceHarry & #PrincessMeghan. #SussexSquad will remind you that #ThatFamily don’t reciprocate the happiness they Portray.”
The message was accompanied by a 15-second clip, slowed down, which focused only on William and Kate. In it, the prince appears to bend down and lean in close to the princess’s face.
However, YouTube has a three-hour livestream of the Trooping the Colour event that features the moment (at around 2:59:00) and appears to show William trying to talk to Charles past Kate’s wide-rimmed Philip Treacy hat.
Moments after the prince leans forward, the king can be seen turning his head and nodding in reply, looking across Kate toward William.
At the time, they were watching a Royal Air Force flyby. The rest of the conversation among the family members appears cordial, but none of their words are audible.
Judi James, a communication and body language expert, told the MailOnline: “The most touching mutual reward signal came from William and Kate, though, when their eyes finally met.
“William’s eye-crinkling and the puckered muscles around his lips showed his inner pride and possible relief to have his beautiful wife standing beside him again, while Kate, who had relaxed visibly by this stage, pinged back a wide, dimpled and very loving smile,” James said.
Prince Harry’s Brutal Swipe at Queen Camilla: Exposes His Cruel Mean Two-Word Nickname!
The Royal Family has only one hope of solving its “withering problem,” and it involves ending a huge rift.
Thousands of well-wishers were seen celebrating the return of Kate Middleton to Royal life this weekend, alongside most of the family, as she appeared on the iconic Buckingham Palace balcony.
She lined up to join in with the King’s Birthday Parade, alongside her three children, Prince William, Queen Camilla and other Royals. But also there was an 88-year Duke of Kent, and other Royals aged well over 65.
She wrote, for news.com.au: “Even with the remaining HRHs who officially represent the Crown carefully splayed out there (including the choreography of different family members walking out onto the iconic perch via different doors based on seniority), the end result is an image of a shrunken, somewhat withered royal family. The balcony on Saturday just looked empty, like half the guests to a BYO potluck had not deigned to turn up.
“This might not be anything new, but moments like this weekend and Kensington Palace’s tweet make this particular harsh truth impossible to ignore, no matter the mega-wattage of Kate’s smile or Prince Louis’ reliably impish antics. ”
But to solve the issue, Elser has mused that the family needs to repair its rift with California-based controversial royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as this could see the group getting the refresh it appears to badly need.
“Looking at the images from Trooping, what is clear is that someone needs to dispatch an emissary to Montecito to see if some sort of making-up can be brokered over a wheatgrass shot,” she said.
See, it’s not just Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are missing from the balcony scene but their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet
George Clooney denied bold claim about Meghan Markle’s wedding: ‘I didn’t!’
GEORGE CLOONEY denied dancing with Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton at the former’s royal wedding, despite reports suggesting he was the last man on the dancefloor.
Meghan Markle is a ‘kind young woman’ says George Clooney
Prince Harry and Meghan are celebrating their three-year wedding anniversary today. In 2018, the pair tied the knot in Windsor, an event attended by George Clooney and his human rights lawyer wife, Amal. Not only were the Clooneys invited to the main event at St George’s Chapel, they were also asked to attend the exclusive evening reception at Frogmore House.
George disappointed fans when he denied reports he had danced with “everybody”, insisting he didn’t dance at all.
Attending a ceremony where he received a Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Film Institute at the Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre, he said: “There were lots of stories, I heard I danced with… everybody.”
Amal added: “Yeah… the bride…”
George quickly clarified; “Yeah, I didn’t dance, I didn’t.

“There wasn’t beer pong. I heard there was beer pong, no beer pong.”
Tennis star Serena Williams, who also attended the wedding, had already denied that there had been a beer pong contest, despite reports she had won.
Talking to an AP reporter at the French Open in 2018, she said the claim was “not even remotely true”, adding that she doesn’t “even drink beer”.
She was not annoyed about the reports, however, admitting that she and her husband, Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian, had a “big laugh” about it.

“I was really happy Meghan wanted to incorporate that into it.
“I think it was just a whole cultural shift and change.
“It was seeing how far African-Americans have come. I thought it was an incredibly inspiring and beautiful and really motivating thing.”

There were also reports that George Clooney coaxed guests to the bar and made people laugh by free-pouring shots of tequila at the reception.
The Hollywood star has created his own brand of the spirit called Casamigos, through which he has another royal connection; Princess Eugenie’s husband Jack Brooksbank is its brand ambassador.
In the book ‘Finding Freedom’, co-authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand wrote: “George Clooney was also on hand to help.
“Coaxing people to the bar, he had partygoers laughing as he started free-pouring shots of Casamigos tequila, the liquor brand the movie star co-founded.
“‘I wanted to make sure everyone had the best time,’ Clooney said.”
While journalist Rachel Jonhson claimed the Clooneys did not know the Sussexes very well at the time of the wedding, they have since seen each other on a handful of occasions.
The Clooneys invited Meghan and Harry to their villa at Lake Como, and to their home in England twice.
Meghan also invited Amal Clooney to her baby shower in New York in 2019, when she revealed to the lawyer that she was having a boy.
Finding Freedom was written by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand and published by HQ in August. It is available here.
LADY COLIN CAMPBELL FEELS PRINCE HARRY & MEGHAN MARKLE PURPOSELY ‘DO THINGS TO GRAB THE PUBLIC’S ATTENTION’
SOURCE: MEGA
Lady Colin Campbell is sick and tired of seeing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in the headlines.
The royal expert was on GB News when she gave her two cents about the couple and their public behavior.
“They are in our face three or four times a week. I mean, they’re paying [PR firm] Sunshine Sachs vast sums of money and they’re earning their keep very well,” she stated. “Every few days, it’s no accident that every few days Meghan and Harry are in the news. They do things to grab the public’s attention.
Campbell’s words come after a report claimed that the couple want to hire PR consultant Ollie Ayling, who worked for The Pussycat Dolls’ Nicole Scherzinger.
“Harry and Meghan are rapidly expanding their business empire and want the best in the business to help,” a source told The Sun. “Ollie Ayling has been key in guiding Nicole’s career, making her money and keeping her relevant, so he was deemed a perfect fit. The Sussexes are already way more famous than the Pussycat Dolls. Now they want a fortune bigger than Nicole’s.”
At the moment, the couple have a multimillion-dollar deal with Netflix to produce original content, and they also work with Spotify to produce their podcast, Archewell Audio.
Their first project with Netflix will focus on the Invictus Games.
“Since the very first Invictus Games back in 2014, we knew that each competitor would contribute in their own exceptional way to a mosaic of resilience, determination, and resolve. This series will give communities around the world a window into the moving and uplifting stories of these competitors on their path to the Netherlands next year,” the father-of-two shared. “As Archewell Productions’ first series with Netflix, in partnership with the Invictus Games Foundation, I couldn’t be more excited for the journey ahead or prouder of the Invictus community for continuously inspiring global healing, human potential and continued service.”
Meghan Markle accused of stealing Princess Kate’s return to limelight
Meghan Markle and a friend of the Duchess posted photos on Instagram just as Princess Kate was making her return to public life at Trooping the Colour, sparking claims they were trying to steal the limelight.
Meghan Markle has been accused of trying to steal the limelight from Princess Kate’s triumphant return to official royal duties at Trooping the Colour. Kate returned to the public eye on Saturday months after the world learned of her cancer diagnosis.
Argentinian polo player Nacho Figueras, who is a friend of Meghan and Prince Harry’s, posted photos of the Duchess of Sussex’s raspberry jam on Instagram just as Kate was set to arrive at the King’s Birthday Parade.
Some media reports claim Meghan and her pal had allegedly tried to steal the limelight from Kate, whose return to the public eye has been widely hailed as a success.
The latest Instagram post came after Meghan’s new venture, American Riviera Orchard (ARO), unveiled a couple of new products only hours before the Princess of Wales made her first public appearance in weeks.
Mr Figueras later posted a photo of Meghan’s new product on his Instagram Stories and hinted ARO would also offer dog treats.

A second pic showed his dog, Nina Iggy, sat next to a jar filled with treats, with a label which appeared to be written by Meghan.
The jam label read “2 of 2”, suggesting Mr Figueras was one of only two people to receive a jar. Meghan’s previous batch of strawberry jam totalled just 50 and was given to the Duchess’s friends and celebrities.
Meghan announced her new lifestyle brand in March, dropping a 16 second long video on Instagram which showed the Duchess cooking, arranging flowers and strolling around her home in Montecito, California.
Prof Pauline Maclaran, a marketing and consumer research professor at Royal Holloway, University of London, told the BBC Meghan looked as if she was trying to lean into a “more domestic goddess kind of market” with the rebrand.
She suggested Meghan was trying to position herself as the next Nigella Lawson or Martha Stewart.

MEGHAN MARKLE is a topic of conversation in Lady Colin Campbell’s new book which sees the royal biographer and TV personality open up on the “huge problems” that are looming for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex
Meghan Markle’s ‘ambition’ is to run for president claims Lady C
Lady Colin Campbell, 70, spoke on the inspiration behind her latest book Meghan and Harry: The Real Story in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk. The British aristocrat “knew” she wanted to publish a book on the Sussex couple because there are “huge problems looming” and there is a “great story to be told”.
Strictly forbidden for royalty

Lady Colin explained: “It is history in the making, and when I started the book last year I knew huge problems were looming with them.
“Through my royal friends and my palace connections. I knew there were huge problems with them.” (sic).
She further alleged that Meghan knew for a long time that she wanted to split her time between the UK and Los Angeles.
The TV personality continued: “Meghan wanted to live between California and Britain and [she] was already setting up commercial enterprises which were strictly forbidden for royalty.

“There were huge concerns that she was introducing politics into her activities which again are strictly forbidden for royals to do.
“So I knew that huge problems were looming and that there was a great story to be told.”
In order to create her book, Lady Colin met with a variety of sources, including members of the “Markle family”, who she hosted at her Castle Goring estate.
She revealed: “I have spoken to people who have known her all her life. I had members of the Markle family to stay at this castle.”

Lady Colin noted that Meghan is a divisive person for those around her, as have “positive things” to say, but some insiders believe she is “egotistical” (Image: GETTY)
Although Lady Colin does not name who in particular stayed with her, soon Meghan could be facing her father Thomas in court.
After Thomas claimed back in January that he would “testify” in the trial about “things that have been said” about him by Meghan.
The duchess is currently suing Associated Newspapers for publishing a letter she sent to her dad, just before getting married.
According to court documents related to the case, as seen by the BBC, Meghan suffered “tremendous emotional distress” over the publication of her letter.
However, in the preliminary hearing regarding Meghan’s case held back in May, a judge dismissed the claim that Associated Newspapers had deliberately “stirred up” problems for the former royal.
Lady Colin claims Meghan is a divisive person for those around her. And while some have “positive things” to say, other insiders believe she is “egotistical”.
She said: “I’ve spoken to people in Canada, I’ve been friendly with people in Hollywood, I’ve spoken to all sorts of people.
“One of my closest and oldest friends is a close friend of Gigi Perreau who taught Meghan drama at school, and she has very positive things to say about Meghan.

Princess Eugenie has broken her silence with her first Instagram post since missing Trooping the Colour on Saturday.
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie did not appear on the famous Buckingham Palace balcony after many fans were hopeful that the King’s nieces would be present.
On Sunday, Princess Eugenie, 34, took to Instagram with her first post since missing the King’s official birthday parade.
On her Instagram story, the princess shared a new photograph of her husband Jack Brooksbank and their eldest son, August, three, to mark Father’s Day.

The Princess of York captioned the post: “Happy Father’s Day.”
She later added two more photographs, one showing Jack and August walking hand-in-hand on a pebbly beach, facing away from the camera.
The other picture featured Ernest Brooksbank, Princess Eugenie’s younger son, who celebrated his first birthday last month.
The latter post contained the caption: “We love you!!”

King Charles and Prince William have also taken to social media today to mark Father’s Day.
Many royal fans were gutted that Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie did not appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony on Saturday.
Last month, the sisters joined the Prince of Wales at a Buckingham Palace garden party, which many saw as a sign that the princesses could be enlisted as working royals.
However, the monarch has made it clear Beatrice and Eugenie will not become working royals, despite being permitted to support the Royal Family in a personal capacity.

Duchess Sophie ‘relieved’ she no longer has to curtsy to Meghan Markle
When Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh’s rank changed she was no longer duty bound to curtsey to Meghan Markle.

Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh is “relieved” she no longer has to curtsy to Meghan Markle due to her change in ranking, according to reports.
Previously the Countess of Wessex, Sophie was given a new title after her husband Prince Edward was promoted to Duke of Edinburgh after Charles became King.
She was duty-bound to curtsey to the Duchess of Sussex as Meghan was a higher rank when she was a senior working royal. But a friend of the Duchess of Edinburgh told the Mail on Sunday Sophie is relieved this is no longer the case.
The source explained: “Sophie is relieved. She no longer has to curtsy to someone in the family who has not only left Royal duties but has spent the past three years criticising the institution that Sophie works so hard to support.”
Meghan Markle, as revealed in her Netflix docuseries, once believed that curtseying was a joke. The Sussexes revealed that before a meeting with the late Queen, Harry asked Meghan: ‘You know how to curtsey, right?’ Meghan told the crew: “I just thought it was a joke” before re-enacting the exaggerated curtsey she gave Queen Elizabeth II and laughing.

The claims about tensions between Sophie and Meghan featured in Elizabeth: An Intimate Portrait, by author and friend of the Royals Gyles Brandreth.
He writes that Meghan “made it clear” she didn’t need Sophie’s help when she became a royal and would instead rely on Prince Harry, according to the Daily Mail.
The King made his brother Prince Edward the Duke of Edinburgh on his 59th birthday on Friday as a reward for his loyal service to the crown. King Charles also appointed his brother to the Order of the Thistle on his 60th birthday.
Prince Philip held the title of Duke of Edinburgh before his death in April 2021 – a title that was then passed on to his youngest son after he died. Edward was exceptionally close to his father and in his later years took on much of his work with the Duke of Edinburgh Awards scheme.
Speaking of the moment that Philip asked if Edward would take on the title after his death, Sophie revealed how she felt at the moment to the Telegraph.
She told the publication: “We sat there slightly stunned. He literally came straight in and said, ‘Right. I’d like it very much if you would consider that’.”
Meghan Markle: Lady Colin Campbell warns Duchess of Sussex not to ‘hustle her way to top’
MEGHAN MARKLE is still settling into her position within the royal family and Lady Colin Campbell wasted no time in giving the Duchess of Sussex some advice on today’s edition of Good Morning Britain.
Meghan Markle urged to ‘come up with a new act’ by Lady C
Good Morning Britain hosts Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard were joined by Lady Colin Campbell in the studio today.
While she was initially there to talk about her Celebs Go Dating debut, conversation quickly turned to her giving advice to Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex.
The Jamaican-born British writer and socialite has published three books about the British royal family and she made her thoughts on the newest royal very clear.
“I think the verdict’s out at the moment,” ITV viewers saw her tell the presenters.
“I’m rooting for Meghan, I hope Meghan is going to do as well as she appeared in the very early days that she would be doing.”
“I have to say, the ride has been rather rockier than one would have hoped,” she continued.
Ben then asked: “Do you think it will calm down now she is a mother?”
“I have an awful feeling that Meghan needs to understand things she doesn’t yet understand,” Lady C replied and Ben probed: “Like what?”
“Like there is a massive difference between being a celebrity, hustling your way from the bottom to the top, and she was a very proud hustler.
“She used to use the word hustle for herself and her first husband, very proudly.”

Lady Colin went on to discuss the transition Meghan is making from Hollywood celebrity to Royal.
“And being a royal; you don’t hustle, the values, embodiment is completely different, she’s sorted, she’s got it, I think she needs to now embrace it and understand it’s a new game in town.
“She’s an actress, she needs to come up with a new act!” the socialite concluded.
Meghan celebrated her 38th birthday yesterday and Prince Harry took to their shared Instagram account with a message of celebration.
The post caption read: “Wishing HRH The Duchess of Sussex a very Happy Birthday.
