“After all, Meghan always hoped she’d end up with someone super-successful [so] of course she would have her eye on a guy like George! Not only is he one of the hottest men in the world, but he’s also totally charming and hilarious.”

Of course, the two couples have become fast friends, with George and his wife Amal attending the royal wedding – at which George is said to have danced with the bride.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex then holidayed at the Clooney estate on Lake Como, where Meghan and Amal reportedly solidified their friendship and the boys bonded over George’s motorcycle collection.

Amal was also at Meghan’s New York City baby shower in February.

They can all laugh about the romantic vibes of the past and that it wasn’t meant to be – but the fact that George leapt so readily to Meghan’s defence recently speaks volumes about the, ahem, Mark-le the actress has made on him.

“[Meghan] is a really kind and smart and intelligent young woman,” he told Good Morning Britain, describing the royal duo as “a really wonderful, loving couple”.

“I think it’s a little unfair at times,” he added of Meghan’s treatment by the British press.

CANADIAN fashion stylist Jessica met Meghan in 2011 and went on to become one of the closest members of her inner circle.

In 2016, during the early stages of the future Duchess’s relationship with Prince Harry, it is claimed Jessica invited him over for dinner to allow them to bond, away from prying eyes.

But it is claimed that in 2020 the friendship hit hard times when Jessica was accused of “white privilege” after a row with a lifestyle blogger about the Black Lives Matter movement, and Meghan did not appear to back her up.

Rick, 53, claimed the person he was sitting next to had halitosis.

He said: “Hence the face. That is apparently all over the place.

“So it’s as simple as that, Charlie. Love you guys. Yah. Halitosis. Disgusting.”

While it doesn’t seem that he and Meghan have been out in public together, Rick has shared several throwback photos from their filming days.

They included a snap of them drinking wine, which he captioned “The good ol’ days” in 2021.

THE majority of the Suits plotlines centred around dashing Gabriel, who starred as Harvey Specter and appeared in every single episode .

The star, who has since taken a break from acting, beamed at cameras on Harry and Meghan’s big day and revealed that it was “an incredible honour to be a part of the whole celebration”.

It seems Gabriel has had little contact with the Duchess since, and he has been careful when speaking about her to the Press.

He recently told the Hollywood Reporter: “I have not communicated with her other than seeing her big support for the [Suits] resurgence and that has been really nice.”

Ahead of the Golden Globes, Gabriel was asked what it would take to get Meghan to appear in the remake – but he swerved the question.

“I think the question is how much money would it take to bring me back,” he joked.

SERENA WILLIAMS

AFTER bonding at a celebrity event in 2014, Meghan said she “hit it off immediately” with Serena.

But one year later, in 2019, Sarah hinted that the woman she previously called “family” was no longer a big fixture in her life.

“She is really busy. She’s super-busy,” the actress told US TV show Today.

Sarah, 51, has remained tight-lipped about the Duchess since then, often shutting down questions about Meghan, and has not been pictured with her in public.

In September 2022, following the death of Queen Elizabeth, Sarah tweeted a tribute to Meghan, thanking her for “normalising having a respected woman in power”.

DAVID AND VICTORIA BECKHAM

MEGHAN first met Victoria Beckham in 2013 and, according to Posh’s former pal Lizzie Cundy, Meg “squealed” as she was a “big fan”.

WENDELL was there for Meghan’s screen wedding in Suits but was notably absent from her real-life ceremony in 2018 due to a work diary clash, though he described being “irrationally happy” for his co-star.

Wendell, 60, who played attorney Robert Zane in the show, has since said they have not spoken since 2019, and while working together the chat was on “what was in the script and what was happening in our lives”.

“Meghan . . . we are so grateful to be here to watch you both take this monumental step. Love deeply and live well.”

But in the years that followed, the stars became estranged, with Patrick describing the dramatic change in Meghan’s life- style as “wild to watch”.

In 2020, he revealed he felt “too intimidated” to phone his former pal.

The presenter joined Brenda Edwards and Coleen Nolan on the panel today (June 24), where EastEnders’ Natalie Cassidy was also making an appearance as a guest panellist.

It was during a debate about punctuality that Charlene found herself exposed by her colleagues.

Charlene backed this up, saying: “Natalie, apparently, was early for our morning meeting today. I say ‘apparently’ because I was late! But you’re always on time for everything, right?”

“On time for me is early,” she added, prompting laughter from both the studio audience and her fellow Loose Women.

However it seemed it wasn’t entirely a laughing matter for Coleen, who voiced her opinion that: “If you’re late for work, for me, that’s really unprofessional.”

Jumping to her own defence, Charlene claimed: “It was out of my control, just saying!” as Coleen continued to scold her: “Well I’m going to take a note. That’s your first warning, live on-air.”

We have no idea when William and Catherine will be able to tour abroad next, but when it happens, it will be a major event. Both Catherine and King Charles have taken every opportunity to connect with fellow sufferers, and no one can do this more effectively than members of the British royal family.

Meanwhile, Princess Anne is spending her fourth day in the hospital after being injured by a horse on Sunday evening. Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence said Princess Anne is recovering slowly as he left a Bristol hospital after visiting his wife. According to medics who previously treated her, Princess Anne will only listen to three members of the royal family in order to behave in the hospital. Hospital staff said that she constantly wanted to get up and go home, but it was only when three members of The Firm were brought in that she followed the medical team’s advice. The best strategy is to keep her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, or one of her children, Peter Phillips or Zara Tindall, on hand. These are the only people who could tell her to behave. Once home, she was generous with thank you notes, flowers, and a charitable donation.

Meghan Markle hinted at a possible reason she and her husband Prince Harry fell out with his brother Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton – the Princess of Wales.

The two royal couples appeared close at first – and they were even nicknamed the Fab Four. However, in a resurfaced interview that the two couples gave together more than six years ago, the Duchess of Sussex made a revealing comment that seemed to suggest all was not well.

Back in February 2018 – during what was then dubbed as an appearance by the Fab Four at the Royal Foundation Forum – both couples shared the stage.

Meghan admitted that she and Harry have “differing personalities” compared to William and Kate – perhaps hinting at the deep rift that was developing between the royal siblings and their spouses. It would appear Meghan was aware of the contrasts between the couples from the outset.

The event marked Meghan’s most prominent Royal engagement thus far. As the quartet sat together, Meghan faced a question about her experience collaborating with Kate, Harry, and William.
