Why Ruth Langsford is still wearing her wedding ring following Eamonn split

The pair shared they had split in May

Ruth Langsford appears to still be sporting her wedding ring, despite recently splitting with her husband of 14 years, Eamonn Holmes.

A representative for Eamonn and Ruth announced their split on in May and since, they have very obviously been living separate lives.

The former couple, who share son Jack, have showed no signs that they could reconcile. So why is Ruth still wearing her ring?

WhyRuth Langsford is still wearing her wedding ring

Eagle-eyed fans have reportedly spotted that Ruth is still rocking her wedding ring.

Heartbreak coach, Manj Bahra, has detailed the reason behind why Ruth apparently looks to be still holding onto her ring. They told Express: “We can only speculate as to why Ruth is still wearing her ring. One way we can think about this is understanding what a ring represents – commitment to a significant other. After 14 years of marriage, it’s possible Ruth finds removing the ring too large a step right now as it represents such finality in a sense.

“It would be an acknowledgment to herself and the public about what was and what no longer is. That can be incredibly difficult.”

Perhaps she is simply not ready

Manj concluded: “Perhaps she is simply not ready.”

ED! has contacted reps for Ruth for comment.

Meanwhile, reports claim that Ruth has been left feeling guilty over her split with Eamonn.

Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes split

Eamonn was seen looking “frail” at the TRIC Awards last week as he admitted he is on “borrowed time” amid health issues. Due to this, a source claimed to Bella that seeing Eamonn “frail” has been “torture” for Ruth.

They alleged: “Even though she has every right to live her life and do what is right for her – she’s convinced the public will see her as abandoning Eamonn in his time of need as he struggles with his health.”

The source continued: “Pals have begged Ruth not to be so hard on herself and to take everything in her stride and as slowly as possible. Ruth knows in her heart that she hasn’t done anything wrong. She’s just a very kind and sensitive soul who is grappling with her new normal while still wishing Eamonn all the best.”

Former Loose Women star Carol McGiffin left the show in 2023 and has made no bones about the reasons why. And in a new interview she has revealed what she told some of her co-stars after her exit.

Speaking to OK!, Carol, who lives with husband Mark Cassidy in the south of France said she didn’t miss the show at all.

The 64-year-old told the publication: “It was once a great job. It doesn’t really have many alternative opinions now. And I do watch it occasionally to remind myself that I made the right decision. I don’t regret leaving – I don’t fit in there any more. Someone, somewhere will be offended by absolutely everything.”

She went on to say: “I’d rather not be on a show that panders to that. It’s boring – and I won’t be told what I can or can’t say. I’m still very good friends with a lot of the Loose ladies though. Denise Welch popped down here with Lincoln [Townley, her husband] last year and we met them for lunch.

“I’ve seen Kaye [Adams], Jane [Moore] and Nadia [Sawalha] a few times.”

Carol then revealed the somewhat brutal comment she made to some fellow panellists when she left.

“Some, I have nothing in common with. As I said to them, ‘You’re not friends, you’re just people I work with, who I really like.’ Which horrified them.”

During the interview Carol also revealed that although she loves Ruth Langsford, she hasn’t contacted her since following marriage split.

Carol she felt Ruth would be “inundated and won’t want to hear from me, right now”. She went on to say she will send Ruth a message when she knows “what’s really going on, not before.”

    Carol McGiffin quits Loose Women

Carol left Loose Women in 2023 and then admitted she had been forced to ‘step away’ from the daytime show because of a “difficult issue”. She said that she was suffering from “too much stress” due to contract negotiations.

Carol then appeared on GB News to discuss her exit. Speaking to host Dan Wootton, Carol was asked about the “general wokery” on the show. Carol said: “Well put it this way, reading all the comments from the article at the weekend there are a lot of people who think the programme has gone very, very woke.”

Carol then made a sad admission. She said: “It’s not a place where I feel I fit in.”

It comes after Carol discussed the reasoning behind her stepping back from the ITV programme. Speaking to Best magazine, the star said: “It was causing me too much stress, which was mostly down to a difficult contract issue I’d been challenging since January.

“The problem was, ITV were insisting, for the first time since I went back in 2018, that if I wanted to carry on doing the show, I would have to sign a contract that was totally unjust and unworkable for me, so I had to say no thanks.”

    What did Carol say?

She then added at the time: “It’s not really that I’ve left, I’m just not doing it at the moment. I feel quite upset about it, if I’m honest, because although it is my decision, I felt like it was one I was being forced to make.”

An ITV spokesperson said: “ITV will not comment on or disclose details of individual contracts but all ITV contracts comply with the required employment and HMRC legislation.”

A spokesperson also said recently: “ITV will not comment on speculation around individual contracts. We understand Carol has decided to leave Loose Women and we wish her well.”

Loose Women’s Linda ‘unhappy’ as she fumes ‘I can’t tell you or I’ll lose my job’

Linda Robson has recalled the moment she was targeted by a troll as she enjoyed a cooked breakfast with Birds of a Feather co-star Pauline Quirke – but refused to reveal what she told them

Loose Women’s Linda Robson has opened up on the moment she was confronted by a troll while out for lunch with her co-star.

The 66-year-old actress was back on the panel for Tuesday’s (July 9) episode of the ITV lunchtime show alongside Christine Lampard, Coleen Nolan and Gloria Hunniford.

They kicked off the programme by discussing whether or not bad behaviour should be called out. As the famous foursome debated the topic, Linda explained: “A quite of things have happened over the years when people have been quite rude. I can remember once I was out having lunch with Pauline Quirke.

“We had a big fry-up breakfast in front of us and this women comes marching over to us and goes ‘You shouldn’t be eating that or you’ll end up looking like her’. It was terrible. I won’t tell you what I said because I’ll lose my job if I tell you but I wasn’t happy.”

It comes after Linda left viewers confused during Monday’s (July 8) edition of Loose Women as she made a crytpic comment about her marriage.

She confirmed her separation from Mark Dunford last year and earlier this year ruled out finding love again as she planned to move out of her long-term home into a two-bed house near her children.

However, Linda spoke about about her “husband” and being married for 33 years live on air, leaving viewers confused. The panellists aired a debate titled: “Does marriage work better for men than women?” at the time.

Linda said: “I think once the kids leave home it’s all different then, because that’s the glue that keeps you all together. I think once the kids are gone and they’ve got their own lives and they don’t need you anymore – I think then it all changes.

“So yeah, I’ve been married 33 years and I’m getting old now. I just want to enjoy the last few years that I’ve got left, so I went on holiday on my own but my son and his partner were out there as well. So it was just really nice, but I’ll go away on my own anyway and I’m very sociable but my husband’s not that sociable, so I’ve always done things on my own anyway.”

Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were left confused over Linda talking about being married for 33 years and calling Mark her husband following their split. One person said: “I thought Linda’s marriage was over? #LooseWomen” to which others interacted with the tweet. The Mirror has contacted Linda’s representative for comment.

It comes as Linda opened up about her split earlier this year from Mark, the father of her children Louis, 32, and Bobbie, 28. The TV star said at the time that there was nothing dramatic about the split and they simply grew apart, telling OK! magazine: “People do, sometimes, don’t they? We never had that much in common. I’m very sociable. Mark never enjoyed that side of things.”

“I’ve been sad about it, of course I have,” she added. “But we had two lovely children together. But they’re all grown up, living their own lives now. Now, it’s me and Dolly the dog. [But] I’m in a really good place. Work’s good.”

Prince Harry Regrets Marriage: Throws Meghan Markle Out Over Betrayal Plans

The betrayal that has shaken the kingdom has brought accusations against Meg of plotting against her husband, creating a dramatic upheaval…

The betrayal that has shaken the kingdom has brought accusations against Meg of plotting against her husband, creating a dramatic upheaval that has reverberated throughout the realm. Publicly, Ha has pointedly accused his wife Meg of orchestrating a deceitful scheme aimed at undermining and sabotaging his carefully laid plans. What was once a formidable power couple now finds themselves entangled in a bitter feud that threatens to dismantle the alliance they spent years cultivating.

The turmoil began when Ha claimed to have uncovered compelling evidence suggesting that Meg had been covertly colluding with his political adversaries behind his back. In a heated confrontation captured on camera, an visibly enraged Ha confronted Meg, accusing her of betraying him in the most egregious manner possible.

“Meg has been lying to me and manipulating me all along,” Ha declared, his face contorted with a mix of fury and betrayal. “I have proof that she contacted my enemies, all in an attempt to destroy everything I’ve worked so hard to achieve. Well, I won’t stand for it. She is no longer my wife after this treacherous act.”

Meg vehemently denied the allegations, passionately asserting that Ha had misunderstood the situation. However, her protests fell on deaf ears as Ha remained steadfast in his conviction, insisting that Meg had woven a web of deceit that had finally unraveled.

“She thinks she can stab me in the back and get away with it,” Ha growled. “Well, I’m here to tell her that she’s sorely mistaken. I will make her pay for this. I swear it. I’ll ensure she and her co-conspirators never recover from this.”

The shocking revelations have left the kingdom in turmoil, with supporters on both sides rushing to defend their champions. Ha’s supporters applaud his decisive action and unwavering commitment to rooting out treachery, while Meg’s defenders condemn Ha’s actions as hasty and vindictive.

“Meg has always been Ha’s most trusted confidante and closest ally,” argued one of Meg’s supporters. “To suggest she would betray him in such a calculated and malicious way is ludicrous. Ha is letting his emotions cloud his judgment, putting the entire alliance at risk.”

Despite the backlash, Ha remains resolute in severing all ties with Meg and undermining her position within their alliance. He has already begun publicly denouncing Meg’s actions, portraying her as duplicitous and untrustworthy.

“Meg had her chance, and she blew it,” Ha declared. “Now she’ll face the consequences. I’m done with her, and I won’t rest until everyone in this kingdom knows exactly what she’s done.”

The fallout from this explosive clash has left the kingdom in uncertainty, wondering how this bitter feud will ultimately unfold. Will Ha succeed in dismantling Meg’s credibility and influence, or will Meg manage to salvage her position and turn the tide in her favor?

As the kingdom awaits the resolution of this saga, one thing is certain: the betrayal that has rocked the kingdom will forever alter its history, leaving behind lasting repercussions for all involved.

EXCLUSIVE: Prince William is ‘adamant’ he doesn’t want Harry in King Charles’ succession talks

Prince William is said to be exluding his younger brother from succession planning with the Duke of Sussex thought to be ‘not trusted’

Prince William is thought to be shutting out his brother Prince Harry from succession talks as William is ‘adamant’ that the Duke of Sussex can not support the royal family.

Harry, who stepped down as a working royal in 2020, is said to have “zero chance” of being asked to help whilst his father King Charles undergoes cancer treatment and may need other senior royals to step in. Harry, whilst keen to support his family, is thought to be excluded from family planning with William leading the decision making.

Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, royal expert and author Tom Quinn said: “As a non working royal Harry is also no longer a counsellor of state and he is not being kept in the loop because there is zero chance he will be asked to help out. William is adamant that he does not want Harry involved in any aspect of succession discussions or in planning for counsellors of state to help out if and when it becomes necessary. And as the next in line what William wants William gets.”

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, Prince William, Prince of Wales and Catherine, Princess of Wales
Prince William is said to be ‘adamant’ he will not include his younger brother Harry in succession talks
Quinn also suggested Charles’ plans centre around the Prince of Wales. He told The Mirror William is at the heart of the succession planning”, but “no one trusts Harry”. He explained: “Charles is also aware that, as future king, William is at the heart of the succession planning that is taking place right now – officials had assumed Charles would remain healthy at least into his mid-eighties before succession planning would need to begin but in fact it has now begun and indicates perhaps that Charles’ cancer is more dangerous than we have been led to believe.

“Succession planning is highly secret and no one trusts Harry to be part of it for the simple reason that if he feels in any way slighted or not given what he feels he deserves he will run straight to the media.”

The King’s illness is believed to have led to his succession planning, with a “highly unlikely situation” involving Harry and Meghan returning to royal duties. Royal expert Jennie Bond said Harry would likely “uproot his family” if he was called upon.

Speaking to Heat magazine, she said it’s an “extreme precaution” to be planning for an instance in which Meghan and Harry would return to royal duties. However, she said: “But, from the rumours that he was willing to step in on some kind of official basis while the King is in treatment, Harry probably would uproot his family and fill in for the short-term.

“I don’t think regency is something he’d welcome, but he’d be able to do things his way for once.” Jennie pointed out that any involvement Harry had would be for a “very short period” as Prince William’s son George can legitimately become King when he turns 18 in seven years.

A source also told the publication that Harry and Meghan are finding it “hard” to hear King Charles is making concession plans without consulting them. However, they insisted the Sussexes are “not going to kick up a fuss”.

HOT NEWS: Meghan Markle Breaks Down as Prince Harry Reveals Her Deceit and Archie’s True Paternity

Meghan Markle faces criticism following the disclosure of controversial details from a recent podcast, adding to her public scrutiny.

In a surprising twist, Paris Hilton shared her thoughts during an interview on Kinsey Scofield’s YouTube channel. The topic of discussion? The Duchess of Sussex’s podcast on archetypes.

Addressing the podcast’s premise of advocating for women’s empowerment, Hilton remarked on the irony of its guest list, predominantly comprised of affluent celebrities.

“I thought it was funny,” she quipped, highlighting a perceived disparity between Markle’s proclaimed advocacy and the podcast’s actual lineup.

Scofield, the interviewer, expressed difficulty in aligning with Markle’s perspective and ventured to inquire about her American Riviera Orchard project’s potential success. Hilton, unexpectedly supportive, forecasted triumph for the venture.

“Yes, I think the American Riviera project would be a success,” she affirmed, attributing it to the divisive yet captivating allure of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Acknowledging Hilton’s stance, Scofield reflected on the polarized opinions surrounding the royal couple, likening public interest in them to that of a reality TV series. The exchange highlighted diverging perceptions of Markle’s initiatives and their potential impact.

This critique comes amid recent revelations that a notable designer declined collaboration with the duchess.

Julian McDonald, a prominent British fashion figure, openly favored the Princess of Wales over Markle at the Fragrance Foundation Awards in London, underscoring ongoing tensions within the fashion industry.

Former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan has shrugged off the record number of Ofcom complaints that he received during his time on the show.

Back in March, Piers stormed out of the studio after an on-air spat about Meghan Markle with weatherman Alex Beresford which led him to later quit the ITV show and thousands of people to complain to Ofcom.

The 56-year-old pointed out that none of the Government-related complaints against him were upheld, writes The Mirror.

Piers then referred to Meghan as “Princess Pinocchio” as he suggested that complaints made against him for remarks he made about her wouldn’t be upheld either.

Over 54,453 people flocked to Ofcom to complain about the presenter after Piers suggested that he didn’t believe the Duchess of Sussex when she said she felt suicidal during her explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.

It overtook Diversity’s Black Lives Matter performance on Britain’s Got Talent as the most complained about moment ever.

Piers also bagged the sixth, seventh and 10th places after his interviews with Helen Whateley MP and Victoria Atkin MP.

Sharing an article revealing he had nabbed four spots in the top 10 most complained about moments, Piers tweeted an emoji wearing sunglasses.

He then tweeted a BBC article about the complaints, suggesting that Ofcom had seen “unprecedented” numbers of complaints with Piers attributing to a large portion of them.

Piers wrote in response: “What this doesn’t say is that NONE of the Govt-related complaints against me were upheld, and I don’t expect the complaints relating to Princess Pinocchio to be either. How can @Ofcom possibly conclude I must believe a proven liar…?”

Ofcom confirmed in the report that “in many of the cases above, [they] did not find the issues warranted an investigation”.

A spokesperson added: “We’re a nation of TV lovers, and it’s kept us entertained and informed like never before during lockdown. From time to time viewers see things that trouble them, and that’s where we come in.”

HOT NEWS: Princess Anne announces her intention to assist Harry in ascending to the throne and Meghan becoming Queen: With one condition.

Prince Harry’s recent behavior towards Princess Anne has stirred speculation about tension within the royal family, particularly ahead of an anticipated reunion. According to a body language specialist, Harry displayed unusual gestures towards his aunt at last year’s king’s coronation. With just a few weeks until his next trip to the UK, Harry’s previous visit was marked by signs of nervousness, observed during a significant event where he was seated alongside his cousins, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. Notably, Meghan Markle chose to stay in the US with their children, leaving Harry to attend alone.

Body language expert Judy James noted Harry’s apparent anxiety, citing increased blinking and lip movements, possibly indicative of nerves or heightened adrenaline levels. When Princess Anne approached Harry’s seat, his demeanor shifted, with his head dropping and gaze fixed on her. Despite this, Harry seemed content chatting with his cousins and their spouses, demonstrating a strong bond with them, particularly evident in his interactions with Eugenie and Beatrice’s husband.

Amid preparations for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, Harry is slated to return to the UK for a special event at St Paul’s Cathedral. While Meghan’s attendance remains to be confirmed, both are urged to reconcile and set aside past grievances for the sake of the royal family’s cohesion and growth.

Royal author Christopher Anderson suggests that Harry’s return presents an opportunity for him to contribute part-time to royal duties, easing the burden on other family members, particularly amid King Charles and Princess Kate’s undisclosed health concerns. However, reconciling with Prince William, who is reportedly dealing with Kate’s illness in secret, may pose challenges.

Ultimately, Harry’s potential return could either enhance his value to the monarchy or exacerbate existing tensions within the family. The path forward involves navigating past grievances and prioritizing the collective welfare of the royal household.

Hot news: Prince Harry unexpectedly had his inheritance assets, including a mansion and cars worth $100 million, “confiscated” after daring to refuse King Charles.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle once had a hidden gem of a home in the UK, valued at an impressive £2.5 million, although it’s rarely discussed.

Nestled in the picturesque Cotswolds, this enchanting property served as their temporary sanctuary while they awaited the completion of their beloved Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

The Cotswolds abode was a charming Grade II listed house dating back to the 18th century, featuring three distinct structures.

It included a main farmhouse, a delightful two-bedroom cottage for staff and guests, and a converted barn with two kitchens across its two floors.

The main farmhouse boasted four luxurious bedrooms, one of which was rumored to be transformed into a lavish dressing room befitting royalty.

It was here that Harry and Meghan enjoyed tranquil walks with their beloved dogs and hosted intimate gatherings for their closest confidants, including star-studded guests like Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, and glamorous power couple George and Amal Clooney.

King Charles left in stitches after joke catches him off guard ahead of major speech

Tennis legend Serena Williams and her partner Alexis Ohanian also graced the halls of this hidden haven.

Despite its allure, the Cotswolds property was only a temporary chapter in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s story. Frogmore Cottage, situated in Windsor, was intended to be their permanent residence.

However, circumstances led them to relocate across the Atlantic, closer to trendy spots like Soho Farmhouse and the luxurious country home of David and Victoria Beckham.

Unlike Frogmore Cottage, which held official status as a royal residence, the Cotswolds cottage lacked robust security measures and stood just 200 yards from the publicly accessible Long Walk. This proximity raised concerns about their cherished privacy.

Despite their affection for this idyllic countryside sanctuary, Harry and Meghan were forced to make a swift departure.

Prince Harry expressed his disappointment in his memoir, “Spare the Prince,” recounting how their privacy was violated by intrusive paparazzi, even resorting to helicopters and telephoto lenses aimed at every window, including their intimate bedroom.
