The disgruntled actor said he sucked his co-star’s toes on an obscene TV show

Bridgerton’s Jonathan Bailey had no issue sucking on his co-star’s toe in a racy TV show. In fact, he thought it was “really hot” – but there was a slight problem behind the scenes

Jonathan Bailey has shared how he had no issue with sucking on his co-star’s toe for a racy on-screen romp.

The actor shot to fame playing Anthony, Viscount Bridgerton in Netflix’s smash hit Bridgerton. Since then, he’s turned his hand to an array of different projects.

And the British hunk has returned to screens once more for a new racy romance drama. Titled Fellow Travelers, the Paramount+ series follows two male political staffers who fall in love and hide their affair.

Jonathan stars alongside Matt Bomer in the show which is set in 1953 at the start of the Lavender Scare; when the government cracked down on gay federal employees. Jonathan plays Timothy “Tim” Laughlin and Matt portrays Hawkins “Hawk” Fuller.

Jonathan didn’t mind the racy sex scenes (Image: Jeff Spicer/Getty Images)And it’s fair to say the eight-part series has a ton of racy moments. And in one saucy scene in the first episode, Hawkins forces Timothy to suck his toe before performing a sex act on him.

But for Jonathan, he wasn’t phased by the the racy moment involving his co-star’s feet. In fact, he thought it was “really hot”.

The British star said the scene was ‘hot’

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, he said: “If in the first episode that’s what we are doing, it’s going to be worth five months moving to Toronto, and it’s going to be a series that I would want to watch.

“Because not only is it incredibly complicated, not only is it really hot, it’s also something that masks as being provocative, but actually it’s really psychologically impactful and the people who get it get it.”

There was a problem behind-the-scenes though

However, it seems there was a slight problem behind the scenes before Matt got his feet out, and Jonathan started kissing them.

Bomer stubbed his toe two days before filming and thought it was broken. Executive producer Daniel Minahan told Variety: “He had a big bandage on his toe. I said, ‘Well why don’t we put the other toe in Johnny’s mouth?

“And then of course, in between takes, we would wash his feet. You have to think those kinds of things, especially poor Johnny, he had to do that scene a number of times.”

Henry Cavill says snogging co-star with tongue was ‘too much’ after slamming sex scenes

Superman icon Henry Cavill might not be a fan of filming sex scenes, but he’s also pretty against snogging with tongues with his acting co-stars – leaving Amy Adams red-faced

Henry Cavill declared kissing his co-star with tongue was “too much” in a candid sex scene confession.

The Superman star had to snog Amy Adams for the 2013 Man of Steel movie, and the pair discussed things on The Graham Norton show while promoting the film. Asked about her “really specific” kissing technique from director David O. Russell when she was working on The Fighter, Amy learned to put her tongue on display in snogging scenes – and tried to carry that over to her next project.

Amy explained: “David O. Russell has a thing with tongue, okay? He likes to see it, like a 1980s music video or something. I tried that with Henry, it didn’t work! They were like, ‘Ew, what’s that?’” Henry chimed in to admit it was “too much” as Amy said: “I was such a creeper for poor Henry.”

She went on: “Like I know it’s all you know, but I talked to other people like, ‘Oh, Henry is beautiful, he’s such a nice guy’, but then you say it in front of him and then you feel really creepy.” At this, Henry jokingly moved a few inches away from his co-star on the couch, before detailing his own experience filming sex scenes.

Henry Cavill said snogging his co-star with tongue was ‘too much’ (Image: BBC/Youtube)Amy has confessed she “wished Henry had misbehaved” while chatting to OK! Magazine, explaining: “He’s the nicest person on top of being just a wonderful actor and wonderful looking. He’s also got this great humility and he does a really great job in the role. He’s got a great sense of humour, but he’s not cheeky at all, so… I kind of wish he’d misbehaved!”

Henry confessed on the programme: “When you think of it, when you’re having sex with someone you’re normally alone! When you’re on set, you’ve got at least 12 really very heavily set men watching you and it’s not comfortable, and things aren’t happening as naturally as they should. You know, there’s a lot of this [thumping].”

The Superman star slammed sex scenes (Image: BBC/Youtube)

The Witcher star has previously admitted that he became “aroused” during a sex scene, telling Men’s Health that it happened while he was filming The Tudors. Henry said: “It’s happened to me once… and it was very embarrassing. A girl had to be on top of me, she had spectacular breasts, and I hadn’t rearranged my… stuff into a harmless position.

“She’s basically rubbing herself all over me, um, it got a bit hard. I had to apologise profusely afterward. It’s not great when you’re in a professional acting environment and somebody gets a boner, is it? No, not acceptable.”

Now he thinks sex scenes are unnecessary unless they add something to the plot, telling the Happy Sad Confused podcast: “There are circumstances where a sex scene actually is beneficial to a movie, rather than just the audience… [but] I think sometimes they’re overused these days. It’s when you have a sense that you’re going, ‘Is this really necessary, or is it just people with less clothing on?’”

He said: “That’s when you start to get more uncomfortable and you’re thinking, ‘There’s not a performance here. There’s not a piece which is going to carry through to the rest of the movie.’”

  • More than superheroes: Gal Gadot’s DCU co-star criticizes Warner Bros. give up Wonder Woman

More than superheroes: Gal Gadot’s DCU co-star criticizes Warner Bros. give up Wonder Woman

The exclusion of Wonder Woman in the new DCU does not make sense according to one of Gal Gadot’s co stars.

Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman made her debut in the DCU in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and made a great impression on audiences. They loved Gadot’s charm and ease with which she portrayed the character. Her solo film in 2017 further proved that she was not a fluke and was born to play the character.

Gal Gadot as the titular character in 2017’s Wonder Woman

However, audiences did not enjoy 2020’s Wonder Woman 1984, and it seriously affected the reputation of the character. With James Gunn taking over the brand, the character was excluded from his plans for his new DCU. Gadot’s co-star from Wonder Woman 1984 is lamenting the decision and questions the new DCU for not recognizing Wonder Woman’s immense potential.

Lynda Carter Does Not Understand Why The DCU Pulled the Plug on Wonder Woman

Lynda Carter made a cameo appearance as Asteria in Wonder Woman 1984

The DCU’s Wonder Woman had a topsy-turvy journey in the DCU. Her presentation and narrative arc in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Wonder Woman were received very well by fans. However, Wonder Woman 1984 was a colossal failure, even though fans loved Gadot’s portrayal of the character.

The character continued to make cameo appearances in The Flash and Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Unfortunately, Gadot’s tenure as the character came to an end when James Gunn took over. This exclusion caused a lot of debate among fans, and now former Wonder Woman actress Lynda Carter is confused as to why the DCU would leave out such a pivotal character in their new universe.

Carter, who starred in the popular 70s Wonder Woman TV show and played Asteria in Wonder Woman 1984, told Yahoo Entertainment that the current DCU is not interested in doing Wonder Woman unless there is pressure from fans. This is confusing to her as the character has so many layers to her that are worth exploring. She called Wonder Woman a great franchise and felt it a waste that they were not utilizing her.

Wonder Woman was among the big three of Zack Snyder’s DCEU films. Gunn does not seem to be interested in the character (for now) and is instead focusing on the larger Amazonians as a whole with the upcoming Paradise Lost project. It remains to be seen whether Gunn incorporates the character in the future.

The Escapist Nature of Action Films Draws Gal Gadot More Than Any Other Genre

Gal Gadot as Rachel Stone in Netflix’s Heart of Stone

Gal Gadot has been a part of so many action franchises in Hollywood. Be it playing Wonder Woman in the DCU or playing the charming Gisele in the Fast and Furious franchise, Gadot has made her name in the action genre. In an interview with Vogue, she stated that she loves the action genre more than any other genre due to its escapist and thrilling nature.

Gadot claimed that she is the most comfortable doing action and loves going on an emotional roller-coaster for two hours around the world with her action films.

Gadot starred in the Netflix action thriller Heart of Stone last year alongside Alia Bhatt and Jamie Dornan. She is set to star in the drama In the Hand of Dante alongside Oscar Isaac and Gerard Butler and will play the Evil Queen in Disney’s live-action adaptation of Snow White.

  • From superhero suits to shared pain: Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck reveal surprising similarities in how they express anguish.

From superhero suits to shared pain: Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck reveal surprising similarities in how they express anguish.

In the dynamic world of Hollywood, actors often find themselves delving into the depths of human emotion, portraying characters who grapple with pain, loss, and adversity.

Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck, two esteemed actors known for their iconic portrayals of superheroes, have captivated audiences with their ability to convey raw emotion on screen.

While their paths may have diverged in terms of the characters they portray, Cavill and Affleck share surprising similarities in how they express anguish, both on and off the screen. In this article, we’ll delve into the nuances of their performances and examine the shared threads that bind them together in their portrayal of pain.

    Physical Pain: A Shared Experience

One of the most striking similarities between Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck lies in their experiences with physical pain, particularly during the filming of action-packed superhero films. Both actors have spoken openly about the physical toll that rigorous training and intense fight scenes have taken on their bodies.

For Ben Affleck, the grueling demands of portraying Batman in “Batman v Superman” resulted in numerous aches and pains, as he pushed his body to the limit to bring the iconic character to life on screen. Cavill, similarly, has faced his own share of physical challenges while embodying the role of Superman, enduring long hours in the gym and rigorous stunt work to convincingly portray the Man of Steel.

While the expression of physical pain may not be unique to Cavill and Affleck, their shared experiences on the set of superhero films highlight the sacrifices that actors often make in pursuit of their craft, as well as the physical and emotional toll that comes with inhabiting larger-than-life characters.

Discomfort with Interviews: An Insight into Frustration

Another surprising similarity between Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck lies in their shared experience of discomfort during interviews, albeit for different reasons. While Cavill has not publicly expressed discomfort with repetitive interview questions, Affleck has been vocal about his frustration with the constant scrutiny and interrogation surrounding his portrayal of Batman.

In interviews following the release of “Batman v Superman,” Affleck candidly expressed his annoyance with the relentless questioning about his role as the Caped Crusader, lamenting the repetitive nature of the inquiries and the lack of focus on other aspects of his career. This frustration with the media circus surrounding superhero films offers a glimpse into Affleck’s psyche and his struggle to maintain his composure in the face of relentless scrutiny.

While Cavill may not have experienced the same level of frustration with interviews about his portrayal of Superman, his shared experience with Affleck highlights the pressures and challenges that actors face in the public eye. Whether it’s dealing with repetitive questions or navigating the intense scrutiny of the media, Cavill and Affleck’s shared experience underscores the complexities of fame and the toll it can take on one’s mental and emotional well-being.

Conclusion: Exploring Shared Themes of Pain and Resilience

In conclusion, while Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck may have divergent career trajectories and portray different superheroes on screen, they share surprising similarities in how they express anguish, both on and off the screen. Whether it’s through the physical demands of portraying iconic characters or the emotional toll of navigating the pressures of fame, Cavill and Affleck’s shared experiences offer valuable insights into the complexities of the human experience.

As they continue to captivate audiences with their compelling performances and enduring charisma, Cavill and Affleck serve as reminders of the resilience of the human spirit and the power of storytelling to evoke empathy, understanding, and connection. Whether portraying larger-than-life superheroes or grappling with the challenges of fame, Cavill and Affleck’s shared journey is a testament to the enduring power of cinema to explore the depths of human emotion and inspire audiences around the world.

Henry Cavill was fired from the DCU after giving one of the best portrayals of the Man of Steel fans had ever seen. Ever since his departure, fans have been hoping for the actor to enter the realm of the MCU. And it would be such a waste of talent for the superhero world if Cavill does not make his MCU debut, since the actor seems to be the living embodiment of several Marvel characters.

From Captain Britain to portraying Doctor Doom, in the past few days, there have been several rumors of the actor taking up one or the other Marvel roles. But recently there were rumors that the actor is apparently playing a Wolverine variant in the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine (via GiantFreakinRobot).

And during Cosmic Circus’ Discord Q&A Alex Perez, an industry expert, remarked on the nature of the latest rumor,
“There is credence to this rumor.”

Marvel fans are now eagerly waiting to see whether Henry Cavill will be a part of the MCU or not. Yet, his starring as a possible Wolverine variant is still far from confirmed. While we await further news, Perez has even more exciting news that Marvel fans will much appreciate.

The Agents of Atlas (Image: Marvel.com)

Alex Perez revealed that MCU has several other projects in development and is reportedly having discussions about developing Agents of Atlas and MI13. While details of these rumored projects are scarce, Marvel fans are already speculating on what the projects could entail.

Agents of Atlas largely comprises superheroes of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage and MI13 is a British intelligence agency similar to that of S.H.I.E.L.D. As Perez stated to Cosmic Circus the Avengers are all busy with their own lives and problems, to have another superhero team in the form of Agents of Atlas would potentially prove to be a much-needed help for the recently failing MCU.

With the MCU having a proven track record of being one of the most popular and profitable franchises in the world, despite its recent box office performances, Marvelholics can hardly wait to see what they have in store for us.

Henry Cavill Spills the Beans: Guy Ritchie’s Unconventional Approach to ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’

The Madness Was A Necessity For Henry Cavill And Guy Ritchie’s Film!

Based on the historical event of World War II, when several countries allied to fight the Nazis, veteran director Guy Ritchie depicts the tale of a band of soldiers who do not follow the common rules of war.

Henry Cavill as Gus March-Phillipps in The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare

Being an ungentlemanly way to win the war, Ritchie’s upcoming film looks impressive as Henry Cavill takes the lead with some over-the-top madness. In an interview with ExtraTV, Cavill talked about how Ritchie did some over-the-top scenes in the film which were not based on true events.

The Witcher actor, however, quickly defended the director by stating that the entirety of the World War was madness and that some scenes were there for just entertainment purposes rather than a real historical lesson.

“World War II. An extraordinary time. Horrendous time. When you really look back at what happened, you realize quite how mad it was. I mean, if you made it up, people would say ‘Don’t be so ridiculous. That’ll never happen and things like that would never happen within the war’”
    He further continued,

“Yet they did and so, there is a responsibility to speaking to the bravery, heroism, and, madness of people like the SOE operatives. But, at the same time, it’s okay to have some fun with them”

As the interview further continued, Henry Cavill talked about director Guy Ritchie’s unique style of making movies and how the madness of Ritchie was necessary for The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare!

Henry Cavill Calls It The “Guy Style“!

Jake Gyllenhaal in Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant

For the people who might not know who Guy Ritchie is, Ritchie is a veteran director known for creating some iconic movies like Sherlock Holmes, Wrath of Man, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., and, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. Each of these movies shares one thing in common and there’s no better name than what Cavill calls, the “Guy style“!

“Guy style lends to that and there is absolutely an hyperbole to the telling of this story, but at the same time, it’s suitable and it’s true to the spirit of the story.”

With an ensemble cast of iconic actors alongside Henry Cavill leading the team, Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare has been setting up high expectations with its trailers and promotions. The movie is set for a release date of 13 April 2024 in theaters across the U.S.
