Samantha Markle launches rant against Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland

Now Samantha Markle takes aim at DORIA: Meghan’s half-sister claims the Duchess’ mother ‘wasn’t around much’ when she was growing up – and says the royal owes ‘everything’ to their father

Following her ongoing criticism of her half-sister, has now turned her attentions to the Duchess of Sussex’s mother, Doria Ragland, in a new social media tirade.

The 53-year-old took to Twitter to enlighten her followers on her version of Meghan’s childhood, saying Ms Ragland ‘wasn’t around much’ for the Duchess as she was growing up.

Markle arrived in London last week claiming that she hoped to move ‘forward with peaceful resolve’ after her frequent outbursts against her sister – but the latest comments are unlikely to enhance any chances of reconciliation.

Despite arriving in the UK last week hoping to make peace with her half-sister, Samantha Markle has issued fresh criticism, this time targeting Meghan's mother Doria Ragland. (Pictured: Samantha on Jeremy Vine earlier this week)

The tweets posted yesterday from Ms Markle's Twitter account; she has been a vocal detractor of her sister since the royal couple announced their engagement in November last year

Markle accused 62-year-old Doria Ragland of being absent in Meghan's formative years, saying on Twitter 'Doria wasn't around much' (Meghan pictured with her mother the day before her wedding to Prince Harry on May 18th)

Ms Markle also praised Thomas Markle for being the 'best father in the world', saying that 'everything' that Meghan is, she owes to her 74-year-old father

On Twitter last night, Markle told her 7,000 followers that Meghan owed ‘everything’ to her father Thomas Markle.

She wrote, replying to a tweet praising Doria and Meghan: ‘Glad you love people you don’t even know. But everything that you think you know from tabloids is a lie. Dad pretty much raised her most of her life on his own and Doria was not around very much.’

She followed up later praising Thomas Markle as the ‘best father in the world’ and reiterating the influence she feels the 74-year-old had on the Duchess’ early years.

Ms Markle penned: ‘The world does not know that our dad raised her most of the time without the input of her mother especially from age 12 through high school and he gave her everything she had and is.

‘She was never raised as an only child. Truth kids! He is amazing and successful. And Mags lie.’

Ms Markle also accused Meghan of 'ghosting' her family, saying that's the reason she first began speaking out against her half-sister in public

Harry and Meghan stand outside St George's Chapel in Windsor after their wedding in May

Neither Mr Markle or Samantha Markle attended Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex’s wedding in Windsor on May 18th this year.

There was anger too reserved for Meghan, with Ms Markle accusing her half-sister of ‘ghosting’ her family, saying she only began speaking to the press about family relationships when Meghan stopped talking to them after becoming involved with Prince Harry.

The 53-year-old wrote: ‘She has ghosted both sides of the family she needs to earn our trust it is the other way around. You don’t crap on an entire family and then run around crying that you cannot trust everyone.’

In another ‘ghosting’ tweet, she suggested that Doria and Meghan were close because the Duchess had shunned friends, writing: ‘Doria might be her best friend now because she ghosted her best friend of 30 years. Nikki Priddy.’

Samantha Markle’s message for Meghan on Channel 5 show Jeremy Vine

Samantha Markle was asked on Channel 5 today if she had a message for Meghan. This is what she said:

‘There is so much water under the bridge and so much has spun out of control that was never intended to.

‘I think everybody was hurt by not being included or invited to the wedding.

‘But I felt as though it could have all been nipped in the bud had everyone been included and we all just agreed to move forward with positive resolve, and the hurt feelings wouldn’t have snowballed.

‘But, believe it or not, it doesn’t mean that we love you any less.

‘I just think that families can be this way when there’s confusion and when people are hurt.

‘So, moving forward, I apologise and I wish things could be different.’

And she added that Meghan had ‘ignored’ their father while he was ill in hospital after suffering a heart attack, penning to another critic: ‘You have no idea what is going on behind the scenes.

‘She ignored my father through a heart attack there is no excuse for it. You would be mentally ill to think that is OK. Maybe you were the one who needs the counseling.’

Earlier this week, Samantha Markle was hit by a barrage of criticism herself as she took part in a phone-in with members of the public.

The 53-year-old received a backlash from callers to Jeremy Vine’s programme on Channel 5 today who said she had ‘no relevance’ in the UK.

Chris from Kent told Ms Markle: ‘All we’ve seen is the hate you’ve spewed against your sister. If you actually love your sister I think this should have been done in private, not on social media, or going on television saying you’re sorry… what you’re doing is not right.’

But Ms Markle replied: ‘Most of what you read in the tabloids is not true… There have been so many times I’ve said, in live interviews, favourable things but they were not printed.’

Lindsay from Leeds declared that Ms Markle should have been ‘stopped at border control’, adding: ‘She’s got no relevance to be here’.

However Victor from London called in to say Ms Markle was an ‘absolutely lovely lady’ and that should Harry and Meghan have a baby, she should be godmother.

Earlier, Mr Vine tackled Ms Markle on why she had been rude and insulting to Meghan, having called her Cruella de Vil, Duch-ass and the Duchess of Nonsense.

‘(My father) was being purposely ignored,’ Ms Markle replied. ‘We were hoping that private channels would be used. When they failed we went public.’

Thomas Markle is father to both Samantha and Meghan. She added: ‘The goal at that point wasn’t just getting closer. It was also about bringing out a very important point that you don’t isolate family, you are a humanitarian.’

Vine replied: ‘You want to shame her – that’s what it is.’

Ms Markle added: ‘The public were making a mockery of the family and it had to stop. Perhaps I was frustrated. I was lashing out more at the media.’

Ms Markle said she was doubtful of being able to make contact with Meghan while she was visiting the UK. ‘I was hoping that maybe we would have the chance to speak, that she would know I was here. But I don’t think that’s going to happen.’

She added that the whole saga could have been ‘nipped in the bud’ had the Markle family been invited to Meghan and the Duke of Sussex’s wedding.

‘I apologise to Meghan, to Harry, all the royals..’

Samantha Markle was interviewed on Channel 5 today about a range of topics. Here are her answers in brief:

    On being in Britain

‘I wanted to make the trip and sort of speak the wishes and thoughts and sentiments of my father and hopefully get a message to my sister that things aren’t really what they’ve seen’

On why Meghan hasn’t been in touch with her father since the wedding

‘This media madness has been quite overwhelming… I think it’s been quite hurtful to our family, I can’t imagine how hurtful it’s been to my sister.’

On why she encouraged Thomas Markle to pose for photos

‘The logic behind that really is that I became so tired of him being purposely photographed in such a hurtful way, in a disparaging way.’

On whether Thomas Markle had a heart attack before the wedding

‘He had two actually. One earlier, and I think because of the pressure of the wedding, he really wanted to be there, he had a speech planned – he was really looking forward to it. And the doctors finally said ‘you can’t ignore this’.’

On whether Meghan has frozen her out

‘I think that perhaps she was hurt – I felt like she should know better than to believe tabloids, but I think quite frankly she probably believed what she was seeing as well.’

On if she will apologise to Meghan for calling her a Duch-ass?

‘To my sister, absolutely, and to Harry as well and the royal family.’

On having a message for Meghan

‘I just think that families can be this way when there’s confusion and when people are hurt. So, moving forward, I apologise and I wish things could be different.’

    On Prince Harry

‘He is such a gentleman and so savvy and I would say that she has found her prince.

She admitted she should not have used the phrase ‘duch-ass’ – and, asked if she would apologise, said: ‘To my sister, absolutely, and to Harry as well and the royal family.’

Asked by Mr Vine if Meghan had frozen her out, she said: ‘I think that perhaps she was hurt – I felt like she should know better than to believe tabloids.

‘But I think quite frankly she probably believed what she was seeing as well, and I guess there’s also protocol that you say nothing.

‘So I think that snowballed unfortunately to a lot of hurt feelings on everyone’s part, and I’m hoping that we can have a happy ending.’

Ms Markle told the show that she was in Britain because she had ‘always wanted to see London’, but added that she hoped to ‘speak the wishes and thoughts and sentiments of my father and hopefully get a message to my sister that things aren’t really what they’ve seen’.

She continued: ‘There’s so much misperception and hopefully we could clear up record and move forward with peaceful resolve. ‘

Meghan’s father Thomas pulled out of walking his daughter down the aisle at her wedding to Prince Harry due to ill health and after being caught staging photos with photographers for cash.

Asked why Meghan has not been in touch with her father since the royal wedding in May, she said: ‘Honestly, I think, well you know, but if you can imagine this media madness has been quite overwhelming. And maybe it’s quite powerful.

‘And so when you take something as powerful as that, that goes around the world at lightning speed, larger than life, whether you say nothing or you say something it’s almost always twisted, we’ve experienced, for negative effect to sell publications.’

She said it had been ‘quite hurtful to our family, I can’t imagine how hurtful it’s been to my sister’, adding: ‘But so much of reality has been twisted, is unknown and it’s been unfortunate.’

Speaking about how Thomas posed for the staged photographs, she said: ‘The logic behind that really is that I became so tired of him being purposely photographed in such a hurtful way, in a disparaging way.

‘I said “you know, you have a right like a business card to defend yourself and have the world and the British royal family see you as you accurately are – don’t lay down and let them disparage you like that”.

August 14, 2018: In another interview with the Mail On Sunday, Thomas Markle claims he hung up on Prince Harry in a heated phone exchange

‘So with regards to the money and this idea of cashing in, he was turning down $50,000 (£38,000) interviews.

‘So clearly money was not the goal, and the small amount of money that he received, £1,500, photographers made the money – not my father. It was never a goal.’

She was also pressed on whether she regretted her idea of him posing for the photos, and said: ‘I would regret more allowing paparazzi to continue to make him look like a horrible slob and do everything they could to disparage him.’

Ms Markle said it felt ‘really wrong to allow that to continue’, and told him: ‘You cannot let yourself be seen like this, and as a representation of who you are.’

She was also asked if he had actually had a heart attack before the wedding.

Ms Markle said: ‘He had two actually. One earlier, and I think because of the pressure of the wedding, he really wanted to be there, he had a speech planned – he was really looking forward to it.

‘And the doctors finally said “you can’t ignore this”. He was literally working his speech right up to the last minute.

‘He had had one earlier, and really I think like so many men was avoiding some of the signs – the stress, the shortness of breath, pins and needles.

‘He really wasn’t up to par, but because he wanted to be at the wedding, he ignored the signs – even though the doctors said “you had a small one earlier”.

‘I think he was in denial, he wanted to be tough and brave it – be able to walk my sister down the aisle.’

Asked if she blamed herself for what happened, she said: ‘I don’t see what the other option would be.

‘No matter what, I found that certain publications make you look as bad as they can. And I think it really reflected poorly on everyone. I couldn’t let that continue.’

As Prince Harry, Ms Markle said she was happy for her sister – and praised him for being ‘such a gentleman and so savvy’.

She told the programme: ‘I would say that she (Meghan) has found her prince.

‘And, as my little sister, and being older, I would think when I get older and when I pass away you wonder will your kids and your younger siblings be left in good hands? Well, I’m thankful she is in very good hands.’

The Duchess of Sussex is pictured attending the Royal Academy of Arts in London last Tuesday

Who is Samantha Markle and how is she related to Meghan?

Samantha Grant – also known as Samantha Markle – describes herself as a writer, a mental health counsellor and a ‘blabbermouth’.

She is the half-sister of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex from her father’s first marriage.

A one-time actress and model, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2008 and uses a wheelchair.

Based in Florida, she is 17 years older than Markle and sells jewellery to raise money to fund the feature films she writes.

Twice-divorced, she has three children – Ashleigh, Christopher and Noelle.

Like her father, she once filed for bankruptcy and is estranged from her mother Roslyn – Thomas Markle’s first wife – and brother Thomas Jr.

Also known as Samantha Grant, Ms Markle has see-sawed between criticising and praising Meghan on social media.

More recently she has vented her fury, accusing the duchess on Twitter of hypocrisy and being cold and inhumane in her treatment of their father.

Since Meghan became a royal, Ms Markle has hit out at her for being ‘cold’, accused her of ignoring her father, branded Harry a ‘wuss’, and has gone as far as to say she would blame Meghan should Mr Markle die.

The length of her stay in the UK is unknown, but it is thought that she intends to confront Meghan over their father’s ill-health. Meghan is believed to have last seen her father around two years ago.

The 74-year-old did not attend his daughter’s wedding at Windsor Castle after suffering a heart attack in the lead up to the big day, according to his family.

Despite Ms Markle’s apparent determination to see Meghan, her friends believe the Duchess will not see her half-sister.

Last month, Samantha went on a furious social media tirade about her sister and her new husband.

Branding the Duchess the ‘duch-ass’, she slammed Prince Harry on his 34th birthday, saying: ‘Happy Birthday Harry! As you ‘Mack down’ on your birthday cake, think about the birthday wishes you never extended to your FATHER-IN-LAW.’

Meghan Markle’s mother Doria Ragland has broken her silence.

During the Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, Doria speaks for the first time publicly about her daughter and Prince Harry’s headline-making romance, and minces no words when it comes her feelings towards ex-husband, Thomas Markle, and the scandals that led his estrangement from the Duchess of Sussex.

“I was absolutely stunned that Tom would become part of this circus,” Doria said in episode three of the series, released Dec. 8. “I felt sad that the media would run with this…that he would capitalize, certainly as a parent. No. That’s not what you do. That’s not parenting.”

She further reflected on her own experience with the paparazzi before Meghan and Harry wed. “I felt unsafe a lot,” Doria explained. “I can’t just go walk my dogs. I can’t just go to work. There was always someone there waiting for me.”

Thomas has not responded to the remarks by Doria, with whom he split when Meghan was a toddler.

Thomas drew controversy days before Harry and Meghan’s 2018 royal wedding when the Mail on Sunday reported that he posed for staged photos—which featured him looking at photos of the couple and reading a book about the U.K.—for paparazzi in Rosarito, Mexico, where he lives.

Thomas, who was set to walk Meghan down the aisle at her wedding—a role later performed by King Charles III—ultimately he didn’t attend the event, citing a recent heart attack. He has since stated in interviews that he has not spoken to his daughter since days before the wedding.

Thomas has not responded to the remarks by Doria, with whom he split when Meghan was a toddler. In June 2018, a month after the wedding, Thomas said on ITV’s Good Morning Britain that he thought the photos would “be a nice way of improving my look,” adding, “I feel bad about it. I apologized for it, and that’s all I can do.”

Meghan said on Harry & Meghan —of which her and Harry’s media company Archewell Productions is one of three producers—that her and her husband’s press secretary told them that the Mail on Sunday planned to publish the staged photos and that she confronted her father about it. “H and I called my dad,” she said. “I said, ‘Look, they’re saying you’re taking money from the tabloids to stage photos. Is this true?’ He says, ‘No.’”

Meghan also noted that learned her dad no longer planned to attend the nuptials during an interview with TMZ five days ahead of her wedding. She said, “I’m finding out you’re not coming to our wedding through a tabloid.”

She added that despite attempts to reach him at the time, her dad would not return her calls or messages until two days before the wedding, when she received a text from his phone number that read, “I’ve done nothing to hurt you Meghan or anyone else I know nothing about 20 phone calls I’m sorry my heart attack is there any inconvenience for you.”

The message gave her pause. “He’s never called me Meghan any day that I’ve lived on this planet,” she explained. “All my friends call me Meg and my parents call me Meg. And I was like, ‘That’s not my dad.’ So then, we knew that his phone had been compromised. And we said, ‘Pick up the phone. We need to know it’s you.’ Never spoke to him.”

Meghan Markle ‘picked the wrong side’ in Taylor Swift feud, says commentator

The Duchess of Sussex sent out 50 jars of her strawberry jam to celebrities and influencers, each with their own unique number. Kris Jenner received (unlucky for some) number 13, as she took to her Instagram stories to thank Meghan.

“Thank you @americanriveriaorchard,” Kris wrote alongside a pic of the product.

“She’s picked the wrong side in the Taylor Swift feud scenario,” Talk TV’s Mike Graham said. “If she’s siding herself with the Kardashians, doesn’t that mean that the Taylor Swifities will come for her? This is one of the enemy.”

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield happened to agree, as she joked: “There’s no way in h*** I would go against the Swifties.”

She then went on to speak about the time Meghan reportedly ‘handwrote a note’ to Taylor, asking her to come on her Archetypes podcast.

However, the Bad Blood singer’s representatives reportedly declined, instead of the singer responding directly.

Recently, it was reported Kris Jenner wanted Prince Harry and Meghan to cameo in the hit show, and the couple reportedly saw “no harm” in doing so.

The Duchess will not join Prince Harry on his trip to England next month

Prince Harry will be returning to England next month for the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games. His visit has been planned for a while, and there have been months of speculation whether his wife would be joining or not.

It’s now been revealed she will not be joining the Duke on the trip back to his home country, as royal expert Chris Ship took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to confirm the news.

“Additional confirmation this morning that Meghan will not be joining Harry for the Invictus Anniversary service at @StPaulsLondon in London,” he wrote. “But the Duchess of Sussex will join the Duke for an Invictus-inspired visit to Nigeria immediately after Harry leaves the UK.”

The mom of two was last in the UK in September 2022, as she was due to appear at the WellChild Awards. However, they had to pull out due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II and ended up staying in the UK longer than originally planned.

Meghan & Harry setting up an ‘American Royal Family’ to rival Charles with ‘tour’ & ‘presidential’ rebrand, experts say

PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle are trying to set up an “American Royal Family” to rival King Charles, a royal expert has claimed.

The couple this week launched Sussex.com to replace their Archewell.com website – using their royal titles and crest.

Archewell.com now automatically redirects to Sussex.com.

The website boasting ‘The Office of Prince Harry and Meghan’ will share “personal updates for the couple” that are not related to Archewell, sources say.

Royal biographer Angela Levin believes the Sussexes are using their rebrand to try to rival the firm.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: “It seems as though Meghan is trying to make an American Royal Family with Harry sort of following her.

“They’ve got this ridiculous ‘The Office of Prince Harry and Meghan’ which almost has presidential tones.

“They’re referring to their children as Prince and Princess and the use of the coat of arms is truly astonishing.

“They’re using what they told the world that they hated the most.”

The couple did not consult the royals before launching the rebrand, The Sun understands.

It comes as Harry and Meghan have landed in Canada to launch the Invictus Games

Harry is expected to tell crowds in a speech how much the country means to the royal duo, according to The Telegraph.

The 60-Second News Briefing: Meghan and Harry cause a stir and Gavin & Stacey ‘returning’
Meghan yesterday used their new website to reveal she will launch a new podcast months after her £18million deal with Spotify fell through.

The new agreement with American podcast network Lemonada Media will see the duchess front a new show.

Her old – and widely criticised – podcast Archetypes will be distributed by the firm.

In a statement, Meghan said: “I’m proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting.

“Being able to support a female founded company with a roster of thought provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024.

Couple to come ‘under fire’ over royal crest

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry are set to come under fire for using their royal coat of arms in their US-based rebrand.

The Duchess of Sussex worked closely with the College of Arms in London to create the design, Kensington Palace said at the time it was first revealed after their royal wedding in May 2018.

The crest – which harks back to their royal life despite walking away to live in the USA – has a blue shield representing the Pacific Ocean and rays symbolising sunshine of California

The lion relates to the Duke of Sussex and a songbird supporting represents Meghan.

Beneath the shield is California’s state flower the golden poppy and Wintersweet and was also depicted on the duchess’ wedding veil.

The three quills illustrate the power of words and communication.

The royal crest has barely been used by the couple before.

And a royal expert tonight slammed the Sussexes for “cashing in” on the crest.

Angela Levin told The Sun: “They are cashing in on their royal connections that they say they hate so much.

“Queen Elizabeth II would be furious because they promised they wouldn’t do that.

“They should be stopped from using a title that they spent years insulting

“They left the Royal Family because they didn’t want anything to do with it but now realise they can use Sussex rather than Archewell.

“Four years after they left they are trying to be royal and also setting up the ‘Office’ of Prince Harry and Meghan, it is so hypocritical.

“It is pathetic, they couldn’t use SussexRoyal so they have found a way round it.”

“Our plan to re-release Archetypes so that more people can now have access to it, as well as launching a dynamic new podcast are well in the works.

“I’m so eager to be able to share it soon, and am overjoyed to be joining the Lemonada family.”

Ms Levin believes this launch is a sign that Meghan will “never be able to learn from her mistakes”.

She explained: “We’ve been down this road before. Meghan has already had a podcast and it flopped. We watched her be pushed aside by Spotify.

“But now she’s doing the same thing again expecting a different result.

“Meghan simply does not want to improve herself because she thinks she is perfect.”

Their fresh move to rebrand as Sussex.com comes after the Queen banned the couple from using ‘SussexRoyal’ after they stepped away from royal duty four years ago.

The Queen ordered the Sussexes to mothball it in the January 2020 exit settlement, when Meghan and Harry stopped being senior members of the royal family.

It seems as though Meghan is trying to make an American Royal Family with Harry sort of following her.

    Angela Levin

But the new site still links back to the Sussex Royal website.

Visitors to that site see a notice that reads: “This site was established in 2020 and sets out the work streams of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex prior to their move to the United States.”

A link then takes the pair back to Sussex.com.

This is the first rebrand the couple have undergone since they launched Archewell in October 2020.

They had previously used Sussex Royal setting up a website and social media profiles.

Megxit terms mean the couple can use their Duke and Duchess titles but cannot use HRH in their new financial endeavours.

However, the couple has now been accused of “cashing in” on their royal connections – after using their royal crest.

    MEGXIT TERMS

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced on January 8, 2020, they would be stepping down as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family.

On January 18 it was announced that Harry and Meghan would “no longer be working members of Britain’s Royal Family”, and would not use their “Royal Highness” titles.

A Palace spokeswoman said the couple would no longer receive public money and that they would repay the £2.4million cost of refurbishing their cottage — Frogmore — in Windsor, Berks.

The following day, Harry said in a heartfelt speech: “Our hope was to continue serving the Queen, the Commonwealth, and my military associations without public funding. Unfortunately, that wasn’t possible.”

The Duke of Sussex said he had found the “love and happiness I had hoped for all my life” with Meghan.

The Duchess of Sussex worked closely with the College of Arms in London to create the design, Kensington Palace said at the time it was first revealed after their royal wedding in May 2018.

Earlier this month it was revealed the couple was making a last-ditch bid to rescue their £80million Netflix deal.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning “unscripted” shows and a film after experts dubbed their deal with the streaming giant a “ticking time bomb”.

Harry and Meghan signed a deal with Netflix in 2020, but rumours have been swirling that it had been a flop.

The couple then last week headed along to a film premiere for a Paramount Pictures film – the streaming giant’s opposition – with experts claiming they were “desperate to be seen”.

However, a Netflix boss said earlier this month that the Sussexes “actually have a bunch in development”.

Meghan Markle SLAMS Hollywood For Labeling Her ‘Hysterical’ & ‘Crazy’ — Addresses ‘Irrational’ Female Stereotypes In Latest Podcast

Meghan Markle came for Hollywood, slamming the business she desperately wanted to be part of after Tinseltown turned its back on the former Suits actress. The Duchess of Sussex lashed out on her podcast Archetypes, claiming she’s been labeled “hysterical” and “crazy,” adding the “irrational” stereotypes of women have been perpetuated by television, RadarOnline.com has learned.

In the episode called Decoding of Crazy, which dropped on Tuesday, Meghan began by telling her listeners, “Raise your hand if you’ve ever been called crazy or hysterical, or what about nuts? Insane out of your mind, completely irrational, okay? You get the point.”

Prince Harry’s wife continued, “Now if we were all in the same room and could see each other, I think it would be pretty easy to see. Just how many of us have our hands up? By the way, me too. And it’s no wonder when you consider just how prevalent these labels are in our culture.”

Meghan attacked two television shows in particular. First up was How I Met Your Mother. Playing a clip from the popular sitcom, podcast listeners heard Neil Patrick Harris’ character, Barney, say: “If she’s this crazy, she has to be this hot.”

She followed up NPH’s line with a quote from conservative philosopher Jordan Peterson, in which he said, “I don’t think that men can control crazy women.”

Meghan’s next sitcom attack included Sarah Chalke on Scrubs. “I can’t take it, Carla! I cannot hide the crazy a minute longer! I’m just this big mountain of cuckoo is about to erupt and spew molten crazy, all over him and he’s gonna die like this,” her fictional character Elliot said.

The duchess explained why lines like these are harmful.

“Calling someone crazy or hysterical completely dismisses their experience and minimizes what they’re feeling,” Meghan said. “It keeps going to the point where anyone who’s been labeled it enough times can be gaslit into thinking that they’re actually unwell or sometimes worse, to the point where real issues of all kinds get ignored. Well, that’s not happening today.”

Later in the podcast, Meghan told her listeners that she feels the word “crazy” can cause serious damage.

“I feel pretty strongly about this word, this label crazy, the way that it’s thrown around so casually and the damage – it’s rotten [for] society and women, frankly everywhere,” she stated.

“From relationships to families being shattered, the reputations destroyed and careers ruined. The stigma surrounding the word, it also has this silencing effect. This effect, women experiencing real mental health issues, they get scared, they stay quiet, they internalize, and they repress for far too long,” she continued.

Meghan has dealt with a lot since starting a relationship with her now husband. From being berated in headlines to thoughts of suicide, she opened up about her experience with Oprah Winfrey last year.

However, the interview did not go over well with her royal in-laws and created a deeper wedge between Harry and his family.

Prince Harry ‘directly asked by King Charles not to leak any more Royal Family secrets’

The Duke of Sussex has been estranged from the royal family, including his father King Charles and brother Prince William, since stepping back from the royal family in 2020

King Charles has asked Prince Harry to stop giving away any more details about the royal family behind closed doors, an expert claims.

Harry, alongside wife Meghan Markle, stepped down from the royal family in 2020 and the couple have spoken out about their experience in The Firm. They made controversial comments in their 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, the couple’s 2022 Netflix docu-series and Harry’s 2023 autobiography, with them seemingly deepening the ongoing royal rift. However now it seems that Charles has had enough and asked his youngest son to ‘stop publicly complaining’ about the royal family, according to a royal expert..

Royal author and expert Tom Quinn exclusively told the Mirror: “Harry has been asked directly by his father not to write or say publicly anything further about the family or his brother that might cause trouble. And everyone knows that when a king asks you to do something there are going to be consequences if you do not obey.”

Prince Harry is said to be waiting for an apology from his father and his brother Prince William
He continued: “Over the years that Harry has complained about his treatment by his family he has had just one aim – to get an apology and to see his father and brother make amends. Harry just can’t see that complaining in private might work; complaining publicly just makes things worse and in Harry’s case that means more and more ties to his past being severed.”

Harry’s relationship with his father and brother has appeared strained in recent years, appearing to start from 2020 when Harry and Meghan stepped back from the royal family and moved to the US. His previous comments have included allegations of racism in the royal family to revealing a physical fight between himself and William, with all comments thought to have angered the royal family and soured the tense relationship further.

This isn’t the first time the impact of Harry’s outspoken comments has been pointed out, as earlier this month royal commentator Jennie Bond highlighted the impact the family feud could be having on Harry’s children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Speaking to OK! magazine she said: “Children grow up and are innately curious about their heritage and background… and when your heritage is one of the most famous families in the world, it will undoubtedly seem rather odd and perhaps sad that you hardly know or remember them.”

She added: “Imagine Archie, aged 15, telling his friends, ‘My grandpa is/was King! And my Uncle is/will be King too.’ But he hardly knew or met them. How sad… and Meghan would have to bear the brunt of the responsibility for that.”

Speaking to Closer magazine she said: “She was never an A-lister, so she needs to stop acting like one.

“Royalty do not behave like celebrities do. It’s cheap, vulgar and irresponsible.”

The royal writer went on to say that Meghan was “letting down” those who admire her by behaving this way.

This is not the first time that Lady Colin has warned the Duchess of Sussex of being wary of her behaviour.

In April she advised that Meghan should avoid becoming a “political activist” as the “royals must represent all of the people” and she should know when “keep her mouth shut”.

Lady Colin added: “There are many conservative people, all over the world, many religious people, who do not have these ‘woke’ and ‘right-on’ views.”

The project saw the Duchess of Sussex select 15 women to be featured on the cover, choosing not to star herself, whom she hails “forces for change.”

The magazine has sparked a storm of protest, with critics reminding Meghan that royals must remain neutral at all times.

Meghan has since been criticsed for the “leftie” cover by Leo McKinstry who, similarly to Lady Colin, warns Meghan must stay out of politics like Kate.

Brexit Party MEP Ann Widdecombe said: “Royals have not only got to keep out of politics but they have got to be seen to keep out of politics.”

Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, said: “The Duchess of Sussex has done a huge favour for the House of Conde Naste (Vogue’s publisher) and rather less for the House of Windsor.”

The criticism came after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a new video promoting their Archewell Foundation, which has struggled to collect donations over the past 12 months.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been slammed by people in the US who claim they are “trying to act like an American Royal Family”.

The backlash came after the couple released a new video promoting the impact of their Archewell Foundation as the charity faced a multi-million pound drop in funding, compared to when it first launched. The video was embedded on the Archewell website as part of the charity’s 28-page Impact Report for 2022-23.

It was released shortly after Kensington Palace issued footage on Monday of the Princess of Wales helping out at a baby bank with her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – with some speculating the timing was “calculated”.

Commenting on TalkTV’s discussion about the video on YouTube, one person wrote: “Why are they trying to act like American Royal Family. We don’t have that here nor do we want that here. Please come pick up these horrible people.”

One person responded: “That’s going to be a solid ‘NO’ absolutely not. Seriously you can keep them, they’re not welcome over here.”

Another accused Meghan of being “jealous” of Princess Kate, adding: “How can she ever compete with our beautiful future Queen?”

Speaking to Vanessa Feltz, royal expert Emily Andrews questioned the timing behind the release of the new video.

She explained: “I think the issue here that has perhaps got those eyebrows raising is the timing. Obviously we saw that lovely video yesterday from Kate where she took George, Louis and Charlotte to a Baby Bank last month and they were helping out volunteering, picking presents for children.

“[Archewell’s] video is normally released in January, that’s when Archewell has done it every year but of course this year they’re releasing it in December so that’s why people are saying, well of course if you know Kate can use her children to get such good publicity, Harry and Meghan can play that game too.”

Throughout the one-minute clip, the couple are seen hugging veterans, taking pictures with supporters and are seen packing bags for school girls in Nigeria.

The report states: “We are committed to a simple but profound mission: Show Up, Do Good.”

Martha Stewart doesn’t see Meghan Markle’s new lifestyle brand as much competition.

Prim and proper Martha Stewart is publicly saying polite things about the Duchess of Sussex’s latest lifestyle company, American Riviera Orchard, but sources dished the domestic diva is no fan of Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Stewart, 82, apparently can’t wait to celebrate the kitchen copycat’s downfall!

Sources claim Stewart isn’t a fan of Markle.

Markle, 42, recently unveiled the new lifestyle brand and tipster tattle the former Suits actress plans to peddle crockery, serving ware, table linens and dog food to coincide with a cooking show.

“Martha has seen hundreds of Meghan types come and go — and says they all come in with the same self-inflated hype, only to find out it’s a whole new ball game when it comes down to brass tacks,” an insider told the National Enquirer.

Markle recently announced a new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, and has plans for a cooking show.

The tipster added, “She’s tired of being quizzed by people over how she feels about Meghan’s venture because, honestly, it’s irritating and insulting to her that she’s being compared to a rookie!”

This isn’t the first time Stewart’s claws have come out against a competitor. The reigning homemaking queen has taken savage swipes at Goop guru Gwyneth Paltrow!

The 82-year-old accused the Oscar winner, 51, of trying to mimic her and huffed, “She just needs to be quiet. She’s a movie star. If she were confident in her acting, she wouldn’t be trying to be Martha Stewart!”

According to the insider, Markle should be prepared for just as much backbiting now that she’s stepping on territorial Stewart’s turf!

Stewart slammed Gwyneth Paltrow in the past for venturing outside of Hollywood.

“Martha spent decades building her brand from a foundation of raw talent, hands-on hard work and an original vision,” the mole said. “If Meghan thinks she can come along and replicate that with barely any experience simply because she’s married to a prince, she better think again.”

“Martha doesn’t put a whole lot of faith in her succeeding. But if she does prove to be any competition, Martha won’t hold back in trying to take her down. She’s still just as competitive as she’s ever been!”

“She plays nice for the cameras — but behind the scenes she’s vicious,” the insider said of Stewart.

However, moles insist the threat of earning Stewart’s wrath isn’t likely to derail the dreams of Markle, who sees her latest scheme as her make-or-break chance to finally prove herself in Hollywood. But her project has apparently hit a speed bump!

Sources claimed Stewart is ‘vicious’ when cameras aren’t rolling.

Meghan missed a self-declared April 7 public announcement about her brand — and critics are wondering if troubles in the royal family have scuppered the launch.

“That would be a total disaster! She’s poured so much money and time into this. Her whole brand and reputation are on the line,” the source said.

Nelson Mandela’s granddaughter ripped into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, accusing the estranged royals of “stealing” her grandfather’s famous words to “make millions.” Ndileka Mandela, 57, warned the Duke of Sussex that he needs to “stick to his own story,” adding it’s “deeply upsetting” that they quoted him and used iconic footage of the anti-apartheid activist in their Netflix show Live To Lead “without the Mandela family benefiting,” RadarOnline.com has learned.

“That’s chalk and cheese, there is no comparison,” Ndileka said in a new interview. “I know the Nelson Mandela Foundation has supported the initiative but people have stolen grandfather’s quotes for years and have used his legacy because they know his name sells – Harry and Meghan are no different from them.”

Speaking to The Australian, she urged Harry to stop piggybacking off her grandfather’s success.

“I admire Harry for having the confidence to break away from an institution as iconic as the Royal Family. Grandad rebelled against an arranged marriage to find his own path in life.

“But it comes at a price, you have to then fund your own life, I’ve made peace with people using granddad’s name but it’s still deeply upsetting and tedious every time it happens,” she continued.

“Harry needs to be authentic and stick to his own story, what relevance does grandad’s life have with his?”

Ndileka questioned whether Harry or Meghan had ever met her grandfather before his death in 2013.

“I don’t believe he nor Meghan have ever properly met granddad, maybe when Harry was young at Buckingham Palace, but they are using his quotations in the documentary to draw in people and make millions without the Mandela family benefiting,” she stated.

Her comments were in response to the release of Live To Lead, which was co-produced by the Nelson Mandela Foundation. Harry and Meghan are listed as executive producers on the project.

In the trailer, Harry said the show “was inspired by Nelson Mandela.” He also quoted Mandela, leaving his wife to finish the meaningful words.

“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we’ve lived,” Harry said. Meghan then appeared on the screen to say, “It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.”

The Mandela-inspired program falls under Harry and Meghan’s $100 million deal with Netflix, along with the docuseries about their life after leaving the palace and their turbulent relationship with the royal family.
