The Voice’s Reba McEntire reveals how her new sitcom will be the ‘same’ as her iconic WB series

THE Voice coach Reba McEntire has shared the deets about her return to the world of scripted television.
Reba, 69, transformed television with her early aughts self-titled TV series, which ran on the WB from 2001 to 2007.

Fans of the country music star’s first sitcom will be pleased to know that some of Reba’s cast and production are going to be involved in the A-lister’s upcoming project.
Reba co-star Melissa Peterman, 52, is being brought back for the I’m a Survivor singer’s forthcoming sitcom.
The Grammy-winning songstress opened up to Entertainment Tonight about the show’s NBC pilot, which she says will be titled Happy’s Place.
Reba is starring in the pilot as a tavern owner named Bobbie.
“My dad was the owner, and I’ve been running it for the last ten years, and my dad dies,” she told ET.

“So I find out some information at the reading of his will that I’m not too happy with, so…”
Bobbie’s half-sister, portrayed by Blue Beetle star Belissa Escobedo, joining her business as a partner is the news Bobbie wasn’t “too happy” with.
There will surely be much comic relief during the power struggle between Bobbie and her half-sister.
Meanwhile, Deadline reported that Melissa is set to play Gabby, a bartender who wishes she could be Bobbie’s sister.

Executive producers Kevin Abbott, Michael Hanel, and Mindy Schultheis are the masterminds behind the pilot.

Prior to being called back to the world of scripted TV, she has been focusing on her music and training budding superstars.

For the last few years she’s offered her wisdom to The Voice, officially becoming a coach in 2023.
Additionally, Reba took the stage to sing the U.S. national anthem at Super Bowl LVIII in February.

Stagecoach turned into hell on heels when Miranda Lambert and Reba McEntire came together for flaming performances of three of their songs.

Lambert, 40, surprised fans at Stagecoach on Saturday, April 27, by bringing out the country icon during her headlining set.

McEntire, 69, came out in a fiery outfit and together they belted McEntire’s “Fancy” and Lambert’s “Mama’s Broken Heart” and “Gunpowder & Lead.” With fireworks flying and flames bursting into the air, the crowd went wild watching two country queens share the stage.

After their final song, Lambert and McEntire walked hand-in-hand and took in the crowd’s roar before walking backstage.

Before McEntire came on, Lambert played hits like “Bluebird,” “Tin Man,” “White Liar” and more. She also debuted her new song “Wranglers.” The studio version is set to drop on May 3.

A day after the performance, she expressed her gratitude for McEntire’s appearance in a message shared on X (formerly Twitter): “@Reba at @stagecoach y’all. 🤯🤩Thank you to my hero and friend for coming out here as my special guest. I’ll never forget it. She brought all the fire 🔥.”

Lambert is one of three headliners throughout the festival weekend, alongside Eric Church and Morgan Wallen.

Lambert performed her final Las Vegas residency show earlier this month.

“Thank you so much for coming out to the last Velvet Rodeo,” she said onstage, referencing the name of her show, before adding, “We’ll be back Vegas. Don’t you worry about it.”

The residency ran for a year and a half at Bakkt Theater, where she performed songs that spanned her entire career, weaving in classics like 2005’s “Kerosene” and 2007’s “Gunpowder & Lead,” which she meshed with 2023’s “Drunk.”

Paris Hilton recently revealed the meaning behind her daughter’s middle name and the significance of her birth date.

The media personality, 43, opened up about her and husband Carter Reum’s five-month-old baby girl — who she finally introduced to the world in first snaps this past weekend.

On a ‘very special’ episode of her iHeartRadio podcast I Am Paris released on Sunday, she said their daughter was born on 11/11 last year — just shy of one year after they welcomed their first child, 15-month-old son Phoenix.

The Simple Life star began by mentioning how just days earlier, she had unveiled her daughter’s face for the first time in adorable family photos, introducing her by her full name — London Marilyn Hilton-Reum.

She then explained the special meaning behind the name they picked for her.

‘I chose London as her name because it’s one of my favorite cities in the world,’ she began.

‘And ever since I was a little girl, I just always dreamed of having a little daughter named London. I think it also sounds so cute together, Paris and London, and it’s just such a beautiful and unique name,’ she shared.

As for London’s middle name Marilyn, she said she was inspired by her grandmother as well as a certain famous Hollywood icon.

The reality TV personality also noted that her son Phoenix was also named after her grandfather as well.

‘I wanted to honor my grandmother, Marilyn. I think it’s such a beautiful name,’ she explained. ‘And Phoenix, his middle name is Barron, which is my grandfather’s name.’

She continued: ‘It was just an honor of both of them, and I love them so much.

‘I love Marilyn Monroe as well,’ the entrepreneur added.

During her podcast episode, Hilton also explained the significance of her daughter’s double number birthday and why it is ‘so special’ to her.

‘Obviously, as you all know, 11/11 is such an important date to me, [an] important time,’ she said.

‘Carter and I were married on 11/11. My media company is named 11:11 Media. I make a wish every single day at 11:11. So for my daughter to be born on that date was just magical and so special.’

‘So perfect birthday for my little princess.’

Even though London is only five months old, the DJ said she sees ‘early glimpses’ of her personality, adding that she resembles her sister Nicky [Hilton].

‘I can already tell that she is very serious and so sweet,’ she said. ‘She reminds me so much of my sister Nicky.’

She noted that they look alike too.

‘When I look at my baby pictures, Phoenix is my twin and then little London looks like Nikki.’

In January 2023, Hilton and Reum welcomed Phoenix via surrogate. Less than a year later, London was born via surrogate in November 2023.

Just last week, Hilton shared the first family photo including her baby girl.

She took to Instagram to share the cute pictures and gushed about her ‘angel babies’ in her caption while promoting her new collaborative song with Sia.

‘Introducing London Marilyn Hilton-Reum,’ she began. ‘I’ve dreamed of having a daughter named London for as long as I can remember. I’m so grateful she is here. I truly cherish every moment I spend with her.

Harry Potter’s Daniel Radcliffe reveals he had secret crush on co-star – and even wrote her a gushing note

THE stars of the Harry Potter movies have reunited – and revealed the secret crushes they had on their fellow actors while making the huge box office hits.
Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint have spoken about what went on behind the scenes as they celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of the first film in the franchise.

Daniel, who debuted as the boy wizard in Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone, said: “I feel so lucky to be where I am and have the life that I have.
“But none of that is possible without Harry Potter. It was a very good ten years.”

Helena Bonham Carter, Ralph Fiennes, Robbie Coltrane and Gary Oldman are among the other stars who appear in Sky Max reunion show Harry Potter 20th Anniversary — Return To Hogwarts, which airs on New Year’s Day.

But JK Rowling, who created the Potter world with her best-selling books, features for less than 30 seconds during the 155-minute special.

The author, who has fallen out of favour with some after sharing her views on transgender issues, is mentioned only fleetingly by the films’ directors and cast.
Instead of being interviewed on the show, 56-year-old JK appears in short films made in 2019 for the Warner Bros Studio Tour.
She says in one clip: “I have found it an extraordinary world to be involved with.”
JK aside, the special looks at every element of the production, from the hunt for actors to play Harry, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger and the creation of the film’s sets.

And the cast reveal behind-the-scenes secrets from the movie — shot in Warner Bros’ studio in Leavesden, Herts. Daniel admits he had a crush on Helena Bonham Carter, now 55, who played Bellatrix Lestrange.
Reading out a note he once sent to the actress, he says: “Dear HBC, it was a pleasure being your co-star and coaster in the fact I always ended up holding your coffee. “I do love you and I wish I’d just been born ten years earlier so I might’ve been in with a chance.”
And he wasn’t the only one who liked a fellow cast member. Actor Matthew Lewis, 32, who played Neville Longbottom, says: “There were endless crushes, people were going out with each other, breaking up.”
Daniel added: “We were all hormonal teenagers, so when in (fourth Harry Potter film) The Goblet Of Fire they brought in a whole bunch of new people for the Triwizard Tourn-ament who were purposefully hot, well . . . ”

‘I felt very lonely’
Emma, 31, had a crush on Draco Malfoy actor Tom Felton, 34, while she was playing Hermione — and still holds a candle for him.
Recalling one of their school lessons on set, she explains: “The assignment we were given was to draw what you thought God looked like. Tom had drawn a girl with a backward cap on a skateboard and at that moment I fell in love with him.
“I used to come in every day and look at the call sheet, and if he was on it, it was an extra exciting day.”
And touching on her struggles with fame, she added: “Tom was the one I could be more vulnerable with.  Nothing has ever happened romantically with us. We just love each other and that’s all I can say.”

Emma was just 11 when The Philosopher’s Stone was released. Daniel was 12 and Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley, was 13.
The global fame almost proved to be too much for Emma — and she came close to quitting in 2006. David Yates, who directed four Potter movies, explains how he had heard she was not sure she wanted to start filming the fifth film, The Order Of The Phoenix.

And Tom said: “Daniel and Rupert had each other and I had my cronies. But Emma was not only younger, she was by herself.”
Emma says: “I did find a diary entry from that time. There were times that I felt very lonely. I think I was scared. I felt like, this is for ever now. The fame thing had finally hit home in a big way.”

Daniel added: “We never talked about it ’cos we were just kids. As a 14-year-old, I was never going to turn round and say to another 14-year-old, ‘Hey — are you OK?’”
And Rupert, 33, said: “I also contemplated what life would be like if I called it a day.” The support of Harry Potter fans helped Emma to stay on board until the final film, The Deathly Hallows Part II, was released in July 2011.
But the struggles went on, with all three of the child stars admitting they found the later movies tough. Rupert said: “I lost track of who I was and who the character was. I didn’t really know where they ended or began.
“Even my name didn’t feel like my name.” Daniel agreed: “Yes, like who I am and what do I like to do and what is important to me.”

‘Utterly devastated’
But it wasn’t all misery, with the trio recalling some of the hilarious and dramatic moments that never made it to film.
Emma revealed the child cast were all covered in bruises because they were “obsessed” with paying Slaps — where two players try to avoid getting whacked on the back of their hands.
And Daniel recalled a day on set that could have ended in disaster.
He said: “The candles hanging from the roof of the Great Hall, one day they were burning through the ropes that had them hanging there. So much of that would be special effects now.”
On another occasion some damage really was done — Goblet Of Fire director Mike Newell ended up with several cracked ribs after a fight on set went wrong.

The accident happened as twins James and Oliver Phelps, who played Fred and George Weasley, were filming a scuffle.

James, 35, revealed: “Mike said, ‘No, no, no. This is a fight — really go for it’. So he stepped in and fought me.” Mike said: “I was a tubby 60-year-old gent, so I really shouldn’t have done it — and then I ended up with cracked ribs.”
Lucius Malfoy actor Jason Isaacs remembers how he injured his on-screen son Draco, played by Tom, in a scene that was later deleted.
Jason, 58, said: “I used this cane to whack his hand but I didn’t know how sharp the teeth on it were and they went into his hands.

“He looked up to me with tears in his eyes. Then he said, ‘It’s OK, it’s good for the scene’.”
Tom said: “He’d be this evil father then ‘Cut!’ And he’d give you a cuddle and say, ‘Did it hit you too hard?’ Very Jekyll and Hyde, that one!”
A touching sequence in the TV special honours the acting legends from the Potter films who are no longer with us — Alan Rickman, who played Severus Snape, a actor Richard Harris and Helen McCrory (Narcissa Malfoy).
‘All spirals from Harry Potter’
The cast say they are all now family — and the show ends with their love letters to the saga.

Wiping away a tear, Hagrid actor Robbie Coltrane, 71, said: “My children have grown up while I did this. My children’s generation will show it to their children’s generation, so you could be watching it in 30 years’ time.”
Emma added: “On the last day of filming I just remember all of us holding each other, all three of us were utterly devastated.”
And Daniel said: “Every part of my life is connected to Potter. My first kiss is connected to someone here, my first girlfriends were here.
“It all spirals out from Harry Potter.”

Heartbroken mother, 36, took her own life saying she ‘wanted to be with’ son, 17, who hanged himself four weeks earlier after break-up with his girlfriend, inquest hears

A heartbroken mother took her own life just four weeks after her teenage son hanged himself following a break-up with his girlfriend, an inquest heard.
Harriet Belmore, 36, was devastated after her son Charlie Belmore-Hawkes, 17, was found dead in woodland near their home on October 2 last year.
She repeatedly declined mental health treatment, despite overdosing on medication and alcohol five days after her only child died.
The laser aesthetics technician who had spoken of ‘wanting to be with her son’ was found hanging on October 31 at her home in Taverham, near Norwich, Norfolk.
The tragic story of their deaths emerged at separate inquests held just minutes apart at Norfolk Coroner’s Court in Norwich

The inquest into the death of Charlie heard he had been involved in an argument with his girlfriend of three years just days before he died.
Det Sgt Matthew Hendry of Norfolk Police said that the row blew up after he had attended a music festival with an ex-girlfriend.
He and his girlfriend argued and she ended up telling him that she wanted to take a break, he said.
Charlie who had recently started work as an apprentice bricklayer was found hanging just days later in a wooded area off Eastfields in Taverham.
Miss Belmore who had split from her son’s father told police afterwards that she had never seen Charlie more depressed than he was following the argument.
Det Sgt Hendry said in a report to Charlie’s inquest: ‘Both sides of his family were loving, responsible people who clearly loved him very much.
‘He was clearly struggling greatly with this matter and his father and mother had not seen him this low before.’
Norfolk’s senior coroner Jacqueline Lake recorded a narrative conclusion, saying Charlie had ‘taken his own life but the evidence does not reveal his intentions at the time.’
A separate hearing was told Miss Belmore had been been admitted to accident and emergency at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on October 7 last year after an overdose of medication and alcohol.
Hospital staff initially recommended she be given a mental health assessment, but it did not take place after she told a member of the mental health liaison team that she wished to be discharged.
Miss Belmore was then referred to the crisis team at the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.
Staff from the team visited her at her mother’s home on October 11, but she again made it clear she did not wish to receive any support, the inquest heard.
Two days later she was discharged from crisis services.

Melissa Moss, a crisis nurse from NSFT, said in a statement read to the court that Miss Belmore had told the team she was ‘fine’ and that she found offers of support ‘patronising’.
Ms Moss said she had then spoken to Miss Belmore’s mother Frances, and provided contact details for the team and other available support services.
But Miss Belmore was found unresponsive in her home on October 31 and was pronounced dead at the scene, despite receiving CPR.
Ms Lake recorded a conclusion that Miss Belmore had died by suicide.
The coroner said: ‘She self-discharged from the hospital on October 7 and then did not engage with mental health services or her GP.
‘She continued to ask how she would manage without her son – and spoke of wanting to be with him again.’
The inquest heard how Miss Belmore had been on good terms with the father of her son, despite their split.
The medical cause of death of Miss Belmore and her son was given as hanging at the inquests.
Miss Belmore’s solicitor father Michael Belmore also died in tragic circumstances in 2007 when he drowned at the age of 53 while on holiday in Crete. He had founded Belmores Solicitors in Norwich in 1981.

Gym Tan, a mother from California who is known as @californiaistoocasual on TikTok, continues to wow followers with her go-getter attitude as well as her young appearance.
The fitness enthusiast shared a video with fans recently where she explained she believes she is aging like a fine wine, stating: ‘I said before that I actually think I look younger this year than I did last year.’
But what is the 63-year-old’s ultimate beauty secret to unlocking a Benjamin Button-esque aging process?
According to Gym,  it all boils down to a positive outlook on life as well as one key ingredient – not thinking about your age.

‘I have said it before but more than that just focus on what makes you happy.  Focus on what makes you feel good.’
She stressed the importance of surrounding oneself with people who appreciate and love you and who can also teach you different aspects about life.
The middle-aged influencer has amassed a TikTok following of a round 247,000 and has continually reiterated over the years that the best is yet to come as she ventures further into her 60s.
At the age of 61, Tan posted a video joyfully running along a street with a Cheshire cat grin from ear to ear.
In the video with nearly 150,000 likes, the fitness fanatic divulged that she was in ‘the fittest and best shape’ of her life, inspiringly adding: ‘I’m running further and stronger than in my 20s.’

Feeling the party vibe, Ashlyn and Sophia also attended a late-night soiree at the Swiss Ambassador’s Residence hosted by TIME and Amazon MGM Studios  in Washington, D.C.

In each of Justin’s solo selfies, he was crying.
With the camera so close up on his face, you could see the tears rolling down his cheeks.
Hailey, 27, wasn’t included in his post at all, but she did leave a comment under it.
She appeared to mock the award-winning singer as she wrote, “a pretty crier,” adding a smiling cry emoji.

Some fans in Justin’s comment section side-eyed her reply.
“Is that a sign,” one fan queried.
“I think he and Hailey might be in a bit of a crisis,” one person replied.
“Justin, are you okay,” a third concerned fan asked.
Rumors of marital problems between Haily and Justin have been circulating online since late 2023.

The author and KUWTK star have launched a cleaning range

Chrissy Teigen and Kris Jenner unveiled their new business venture with a controversial advert that has sparked a huge reaction from fans.

The cookbook author and Keeping Up With The Kardashians star have joined forces with Good American CEO and founder, Emma Grede, to launch a cleaning products line called Safely.

Launching on Thursday, Safely is “dedicated to clean cleaning with natural aromatherapy scents,” the company said in a statement, according to People.

The collection will include self-care products such as hand cream, hand soap and hand sanitiser in addition to their plant-based cleaning supplies such as glass cleaner, a universal cleaner and more.

In an advert shared on Instagram, Chrissy pitches one terrible idea after another to Kris, who shows her disdain by slapping Chrissy around the face with a fake hand.

“I want my own product line because, honestly, everyone has one already,” Chrissy jokes in a confessional at the start of the clip, adding that she wanted some “extra help from the branding master Kris Jenner”.

Sadly for Chrissy, her ideas of “pre-chewed spaghetti” and a “dog jet pack” are met with a stream of slaps to her face.

After one knock too many, Chrissy then yells: “Goddamn it, Kris! I just wanted a place I could come where I could pitch my ideas safely!”

Picking up on the word “safely”, Kris suggests that the dup should “create a line of super-effective cleaning products, plant-based, that are safe enough for the entire family, and we can even use them to wash our hands.”

Chrissy Teigen has posted a long, public apology after past tweets calling Courtney Stodden derogatory slurs emerged.

The tweets, shared between 2011 and 2013, also included private direct messages Chrissy sent to Courtney, who has revealed them in a new interview.

In response, Chrissy acknowledged that she was “mortified and sad at who I used to be” and that she was “ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior.”

Chrissy apologized for her words

“Not a lot of people are lucky enough to be held accountable for all their past (expletive) in front of the entire world,” she tweeted.

“I was an insecure, attention seeking troll.”

She continued: I have worked so hard to give you guys joy and be beloved and the feeling of letting you down is nearly unbearable, truly. These were not my only mistakes and surely won’t be my last as hard as I try but god I will try!!”

Mom-of-four Chrissy added that she has “tried to connect with Courtney privately” but that she also wanted to publicly apologize.

Chrissy also apologized to her fans and said she was “so sorry I let you guys down. I will forever work on being better than I was 10 years ago, 1 year ago, 6 months ago.”
