Miranda Lambert slammed by fans on social media

Miranda Lambert slammed by fans on social media… after failing to apologize to the concertgoers she called out for taking a selfie during emotional song at her Vegas concert

Miranda Lambert was slammed by fans in the comments section of a post she made to promote animal safety and responsibly owning a pet.

Her Instagram post comes just two days after she stopped mid-concert to call out friends taking a selfie while she sang the emotional song Tin Man during her Las Vegas residency.

The animal advocate, 39, ignored the backlash and instead focused on a cause close to her heart.

The star, who appeared to subtly shade her critics, wrote ‘It takes balls….’ before adding that she was speaking about animals.

‘To learn why it’s important and y’all can get shirts at the link in my bio,’ adding hearts and a dog emoji.

DailyMail.com reached out to her reps for comment.

The latest: Miranda Lambert was slammed by fans in the comments section of a post she made to promote animal safety and responsibly owning a pet

Her tee said that same thing – ‘It takes balls. Spay & neuter your pets.’

Miranda posed with her hands pointing down at her shirt, as she grinned ear to ear.

The blonde country star paired the top with jeans and wavy tresses.

During the Sunday concert, Miranda stopped in the middle of singling the emotional tune Tin Man to tell a group of fans taking selfies with her in the background to stop.

It took place at her Las Vegas residency.

‘I’m gonna stop right here for a second, I’m sorry. These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song.’

‘It’s p*****g me off a little bit. Sorry, I don’t like it. At all. We’re here to hear some country music tonight. I’m singing some d**n music.’

Fans appeared divided in the comments section of the post, while some sharing their support for her and also commending her animal advocacy, others called her names and demanded her to apologize to the women she berated.

One commenter appeared to have been at the same concert where all the controversy started, siding with Miranda.

‘Team @mirandalambert she owes no one an apology. Saw it all first hand and those girls had taken 1000 selfies before she finally had had enough.’

Adding: ‘They were so disrespectful, the media missed the entire story on this one! She’s a queen and will remain a queen!’

Others demanded an apology from her to the women in question, calling her a ‘true narcissist’ and a ‘petty’ person with a ‘God Complex.’

Another wrote: ‘This girl is taking a selfie when she should be apologizing and it’s really p*****g me off,’ in a play off the country’s star’s harsh words at her concert.

Where it all started: During the Sunday concert, Miranda stopped in the middle of singling the emotional tune Tin Man to tell a group of fans taking selfies with her in the background to stop

Opinions: Fans appeared divided in the comments section of the post, while some sharing their support for her and also commending her animal advocacy, others called her names and demanded her to apologize to the women she berated

Others made an announcement they were unfollowing her on Instagram; she has over 4.8 million followers on Instagram.

‘Unfollowing for the way you disrespect and humiliate your fans. It takes balls not to apologize or see a problem with your actions,’ they wrote.

A fan said that ‘Taylor Swift would never,’ in regards to chastising a fan taking a photo during a concert.

Some fans just called her ‘rude’ and ‘classless’ while others said that while they love her, she needed to ‘address this situation.’

‘Takes balls to realize fans are your paycheck. I’ll keep my money. Vegas should cancel you,’ someone wrote.

Another person applauded what she does for animals but said that she ‘really’ does ‘owe those women in VIP an apology,’ adding that we all have our minutes.’

One of the women – Adela Calin – chastised by Miranda spoke to TMZ about the moment, claiming that they were in the VIP bench and lower than the audience – when asked if they were blocking others.

She claimed it only was 20 seconds for the duration of the picture and that the flash was from the phone.

When asked if she was still a fan, she said: ‘I wont’ buy another ticket to go to her concert.

She added that she felt like she was back at school when a teacher would chastise her.

Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, have largely chosen to keep their kids — Isaiah, 8, and Jacob, 4 — out of the spotlight. The Christmas tree pic, however, provided a rare look at the tots, as their pics make up a large portion of the holiday decor.

“Fisher family Christmas tree 2023!” Underwood wrote alongside the festive pic.

They’ll have to come out and visit. But it’ll be the first time I haven’t had a baby on the road in years — years, years! So I am looking forward to being able to really work and not be so tired.”

Blake Shelton could make surprise return to The Voice but has secretly told producers two strict conditions must be met

BLAKE Shelton has been rumored to make a surprise return to The Voice, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.

“There are ways [Blake] could return,” a source has exclusively told The U.S. Sun.

“Blake may have said his time on the show is over, but he has not closed the door for good,” the insider gushed.

“He would come back to the show if Gwen was invited too, and then they could enjoy working together again.

“[Blake] has got to a point in his life where he doesn’t want to be away from Gwen for long periods of time, and of course, he feels that the experience was better with her at his side.

“He certainly is aware that the fans have engaged the most with the show through social media when Gwen and Blake were together and all through their journey from rival coaches to man and wife.

“Everyone loves a comeback in these shows and none would be bigger than those guys.

“Network execs know that too and will be aware of the value of that partnership returning for viewership and commercial opportunities,” the source claimed.

    GANG’S ALL BACK

The source added: “Blake has also been vocal about his hope to bring back the gang that started the show so well.

“He feels getting Adam [Levine], CeeLo and Christina would be a cool way to promote the show.

“Realistically it would likely take a large amount of money to get them all back, and that comes at a time when keeping costs down is a priority.

“However, if the network could bring in major sponsor and endorsement deals, that could help make the [original] team reuniting a possibility,” the source claimed.

The Voice arrived on NBC in April 2011, with Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Adam Levine, and Blake as judges.

Season 25 will premiere Dan + Shay as the competition show’s first duo judges chair.

Other returning judges will include Reba McEntire, John Legend, and Chance the Rapper.

    BETTER TOGETHER

Blake and Gwen will make a united public appearance when he is honored at the Keep Memory Alive 27th annual Power of Love® gala at MGM Garden Arena, Las Vegas, California, on May 10.

Insiders have revealed that Gwen is expected to attend and “perhaps even perform on stage” at the event, which raises essential funds to benefit Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.

Blake is scheduled to perform a 30-minute medley.

Other performers include Grammy winner Colbie Caillat, Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress Kristin Chenoweth, and country music singer-songwriter Jay Allen.

As the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health commemorates its 15th anniversary, it continues to use philanthropic support to find, fund, and facilitate the most effective and innovative research, treatment, and educational support programming for patients and their families affected by brain disorders; including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Huntington’s disease, multiple system atrophy and multiple sclerosis.

    LOVE IN THE CH-AIR

Blake and Gwen began dating in 2015 after meeting on the set of The Voice back when they were both judges.

After a five-year relationship, the celebrity couple got engaged in 2020.

On July 3, 2021, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Blake’s Oklahoma ranch.

In an interview with Nylon earlier this month, Gwen reflected on some internal issues impacting their relationship.

“I had been going through those times where you’re questioning, ‘Oh my gosh, am I just getting older? Am I cute?’” Gwen told the publication.

“In my own relationship, even though I know the truth of what’s happening today, you still create drama in your own mind about your insecurities and what might happen. I was in that phase of the relationship with Blake and getting paranoid,” she revealed.

“It’s an insecurity we both have,” Blake contributed.

“These are conversations that she and I have with each other, ‘Are you still going to love me when I’m old or if I forget who I am?’” he said.

Gwen admitted she “overthinks” and her insecurities are not always as severe as they seem.

“The truth is I am in love with my best friend, and all this s**t I’m thinking of in my brain, that’s all it is — I’m overthinking,” she concluded.

  • The Voice Needs to Make This Change in next Season

The Voice Needs to Make This Change in next Season

The Voice Needs to Make This Change in next Season — and We Mean Immediately

Brace yourselves, because I’m about to do something that The Voice very rarely does: offer constructive criticism.

The Voice' Season 25 coaches, finale date — everything to know - GoldDerby

By and large, NBC’s long-running sing-off doesn’t change a whole lot from season to season. We get new contestants, of course, often a new coach or two, maybe a new tweak to the rules.

But that’s about it — and that’s just the way that we like it, right? It allows us to devour the show like it was so many servings of reliable comfort food.

There is, however, one element of the format that desperately needs alteration — and I doubt I’m alone in thinking so: The coaches have got to start being allowed to offer constructive criticism to their teams.

The Voice Season 25 Coaches: Who Are the New Judges, Mentors For 2024?

We all understand, obviously, that the coaches want to hype their recruits and build them up in the eyes of the audience.

But we don’t need a shelf full of Grammys to know when a performance has gone awry. So it just comes off as disingenuous when the coaches praise to the high heavens singing that wasn’t exactly music to our ears.

The Voice' Reveals Dan + Shay Will Be In Its First 'Double Chair'

Mind you, I’m not saying that they should be brutal in their honesty. I — don’t we all? — like that The Voice is a pleasant, positive sorta show.

But it is possible to be pleasant, positive and helpfully frank.

It does the contestants no good to be told that what was OK was a KO, and honestly, it makes it harder to respect the pros when they treat a performance that was off like it was off-the-charts amazing.

Monday’s episode of The Voice — and the end of Season 25’s Playoffs — served up a painful reminder that sometimes it’s not enough to be “cute as a button.” Chance the Rapper and Reba McEntire had to shrink their teams of five contestants apiece to just three each. Along the way, some promising singers were cut (although, to be honest, none that I was as sorry to see go as Anya True and Mafe last week). Which six acts were the last put through to the Lives? The Voice’s Best Performances of All Time, Ranked: The Good, the Badass and the Downright Amazing
    View List

    TEAM REBA

Josh Sanders, “Black Water” — Grade: A- | Josh’s rendition of The Doobie Brothers’ classic wasn’t the most exciting performance I’ve ever seen or heard, but it was awfully good nonetheless. And I definitely appreciated the extra helping of personality that the country boy put on display; that goes a long way with me. The only thing that worked against Josh, really, was probably that the song wasn’t the most explosive number that he could have chosen. Don’t take us to the pony rides, man, take us to a horse race!

Justin and Jeremy Garcia, “Castle On the Hill” — Grade: A | Dunno how the endearing tag team managed to navigate those soft-as-a-summer-breeze harmonies, but they pulled it off like it was no harder for them than pulling off the inhale/exhale combo. The brothers even did an amazing job of maintaining the quality of their vocals as they dashed around the stage. Really sincere, really sweet and just a really lovely performance. They’re much more than, as Reba loves to tell them that they are, cute as a button.

Jackie Romeo, “The Story” — Grade: C+ | Damn, after knocking it outta the park last week (and getting stolen by Reba), I had high hopes for Jackie. Alas, her take on Brandi Carlisle’s ballad was impassioned, for sure, but shaky as hell. The more Jackie got to belt, the more comfortable she seemed to get, but the overall impression that this performance gave was that the pieces might have all been there, they just didn’t quite fit together. Reba disagreed (but, as you’ll read below, not that strongly).
    L. Rodgers The Voice
    L. Rodgers, “All I Know So Far” — Grade: A+ | Damn! L. hit that stage breathing fire, like she knew we’d been like, “Really, Reba, that’s who you’re giving your Playoff Pass to?” and utterly destroyed her Pink cover. L. didn’t so much sing as roar, thrillingly pouring into her performance enough soul for half a dozen people. Is it too late to go back and have her do Brandi Carlile instead of Jackie?

Asher HaVon, “Titanium” — Grade: A | On a stripped-back, piano-only intro, Asher showed us once again just how gorgeous and emotion-filled his voice is. Perhaps even more impressive, when the band kicked in, his vocal didn’t fade into the background, it surged forward, expanding to fill the room to the point where the producers had to have started worrying that he was gonna blow out the doors. Massive voice, massive talent.

Reba’s Picks | Asher HaVon, Josh Sanders, L. Rodgers

Eliminated | Justin and Jeremy Garcia, Jackie Romeo

    TEAM CHANCE

Nadège, “Clocks” — Grade: B- | It feels odd when we so often complain about contestants’ lack of enunciation to now gripe about Nadège taking too much care to make sure that we could make out every syllable of her Coldplay cover, but I’ve gotta do it, anyway: It was distracting. Moreover, this was altogether the wrong song choice for her. John suggested that she’d taken too many melodic liberties, but I had a feeling that even if she’d taken none, she still would’ve sounded pretty but just pretty on it.

Kyle Schuesler, “Something in the Orange” — Grade: A | After opening his Zach Bryan cover on harmonica, Kyle delivered a flat-out captivating performance. Without ever moving from his spot behind the mic, he reeled me right in with a vocal that sounded like he’d been around the block more times than someone his age could possibly have. It was so good, in fact, that I’d have added this number to a Spotify playlist if The Voice still released its singers’ numbers.

Serenity Arce, “Lose You to Love Me” — Grade: A+ | Excellent song choice! On Selena Gomez’s ballad, Serenity absolutely soared. Not only was her vocal damn close to perfect — powerful, passionate, ear-popping! — but the performance that she gave was just incredibly in-the-moment. Her gestures and facial expressions were so spot on, so evocative that even if you’d been watching with the sound off, you would’ve known exactly how she was feeling. Of course, if you’d been watching the with the sound off, you wound’ve missed a helluva number. Final Five for sure!
    the voice rletto
RLETTO, “Holy” — Grade: B+ | Although the self-proclaimed “pop oddball of Team Chance” was undermined by a kinda dull song selection (by J.Biebs and his own coach), it hardly mattered. The moment that the spotlight landed on him, he reminded us that he doesn’t just look like a superstar, he sounds like one, too. When you’re that strong, I figured, it doesn’t make a difference whether your number has given you one or 100 opportunities to really show off. (Although Chance did note that he’d wished RLETTO had shown off more of his range… hmm… )

Maddi Jane, “Stay” — Grade: A | Man, this kid — she never just sings a song, she lets it explode out of her. Here, she slayed Rihanna’s ballad, performing with an intensity that demanded that you stop playing on your phone and give her your full attention. Stunning vocal, compelling presence, the total package. Shay told her afterwards that the show included a number of hidden gems, but she wasn’t one of them — she was a straight-up diamond. Agreed.

Chance’s Picks | Serenity Arce, Maddi Jane, Nadège

    Eliminated | Kyle Schuesler, RLETTO

So, did any of Reba and Chance’s decisions surprise you? Reba cutting J&J surprised me, although that said, I can’t imagine who she would’ve cut to make room for them. I think it’s a strategical error on Chance’s part to have kept Nadège; her tone is as lovely as she is, but there’s no “wow” there. RLETTO stood a better chance of putting on the kind of show that might win viewer votes. Anyway…

Keith Urban & Nicole Kidman’s Daughters Are So Gorgeous During Their Red Carpet Debut

The two Aussie stars looked super proud of their beautiful girls.

We recently got a rare glimpse into Keith Urban’s and Nicole Kidman’s family life for a very special reason.

On April 27, when Kidman was given the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award, her and husband Keith Urban (The Voice Season 25 Mega Mentor) stepped out on the red carpet with their family. There, we got to see their two teenage daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith, make one of their first public appearances. Needless to say, they totally resemble both their parents.

Better yet, during his speech to his wife, Urban honored what a wonderful mother Kidman has been to Sunday and Faith.

“Her and I both come from tight four member family units as well, so we try to do the same for our girls — keeping a tight little unit wherever we are,” he said. “We’ll make homes of film locations all over the world.”

Urban and Kidman met in Los Angeles at an event for Hollywood Aussies in 2005, and tied the knot a year later in Sydney, Australia. They now share two gorgeous daughters, Sunday Rose, 15, and Faith, 13.

Urban and Kidman have elected to keep Sunday Rose and Faith’s life mainly private from their social media accounts. However, Urban gave details about his daughter’s interests when he appeared on TODAY in 2015. (Hint: they’re both musically talented like their daddy!)

“Sunday and Faith, they have a few instruments they like to play,” Urban said. “A little bit of piano and Faith, she’s got a little pink guitar that she likes to play as well. Bongos, maracas, tambourine, triangle — she’s just getting started.”

Meanwhile, when Kidman appeared on TODAY in 2017, she talked about how she respects her daughters’ abilities to stay humble despite their parents’ A-list status.

“The great equalizer is showing the Emmys to Sunny and Faith,” Kidman said. “They don’t want them. It’s so funny. It’s such a kid thing. Sunday was like, ‘Mama, I know you said we could put in our shelf but it won’t fit. We have enough things on the shelf.’”

She also talked about learning to give her daughters space as they grow older. “So much is stepping aside and letting them become who they are. I don’t know if I’m teaching that as much as giving them their voices. I let them negotiate so they get a sense of who they are and what they can achieve and accomplish,” she said.

Asher HaVon’s “Anointed” “Grammy Moment” on The Voice Was Compared to Whitney Houston

John Legend likened the performance to a religious experience.

The Voice Artist Asher HaVon, who hails from Selma, Alabama, advanced to the Live Shows and earned tremendous praise from Coach Reba McEntire during the show’s Playoffs.

Asher Havon appears during The Voice Season 25 Episode 14.

HaVon, who was one of six remaining members of Team Reba vying for just three spots for the Lives, performed David Guetta’s 2011 song “Titanium” on April 29th’s episode of The Voice. The original song featured vocals from Sia, but HaVon was not intimidated by the challenge of living up to her.

“Asher’s voice is otherworldly,” remarked In the Heights star Anthony Ramos, who was there as a Mentor. “He makes it look so easy. He’s effortless.”

During rehearsals, Ramos had the idea for HaVon to strip back his cover, making it an acoustic ballad. McEntire suggested splitting the difference and having the performance start that way but for the instruments to eventually come in, rising and building to a powerful finish.

“I feel empowered singing this song,” HaVon said before stepping onto the stage. “Everything I’ve gone through in my life has brought me to this moment, and I get to look back at my life and say ‘I’m titanium.’”

Wearing a suit with a long white train, HaVon crushed his performance, and the Coaches had nothing but the most effusive praise for him.

“Every Artist, throughout their career, has their staple performance. I think of Adele at the Grammys,” said Shay Mooney of Dan +Shay. “This felt like a Grammy moment for you, man.”

“It feels important when you sing. I feel like you have a strong chance of winning this entire show,” added Dan Smyers, and the Coach duo joked that they hoped HaVon would remember them when they’re trying to get tickets to his arena show someday.”

“There are certain things about you that remind me of Whitney Houston. She would take these songs that weren’t written for a soul singer and have that restraint and regal presence on the sound but also throw in a dope run that you would hear in church,” said John Legend, who likened the performance to a religious experience. “In church, we save a descriptor for certain vessels, we say they’re anointed. I just felt that anointing on you. That was divine.”

It was almost a foregone conclusion when McEntire named HaVon first when announcing the three members of her team who would be advancing to Lives. He’ll be joined by his teammates  L. Rodgers and Josh Sanders.

“Asher brought it tonight,” McEntire said. “He could sing the phonebook and make it a hit.”

He even touched on his recent divorce announcement and career arch, while weaving in Bible references, a common practice in his music to celebrate his Christian faith. Some of the track’s most talked about lines are:

“The boy who lived got tied up for marryin’/ Tryna ride off into the sunset with nary goodbye/ Shot him off his high horse, ate his American pie,” and “Where’s his money now? Whеre his wife at? / Wherе his manager? Where his hype at? Then they threw the dirt in the casket and into the hunt for the baby in the basket”.

“Buried Alive” is a possible track on Chance the Rapper’s upcoming mixtape titled Star Line.

When discussing the meaning behind the title of his second album, Star Line Gallery, in 2022 he explained on Sway in the Morning the deeper meaning behind “Star Line”.

“I was inspired by Marcus Garvey in the early 1900s, 1919 through actually 1922, so 100 years ago now,” he explained. “He started and ran this very important, integral shipping line. He had a fleet of ships, these giant ocean liners which are the size of cruise ships, that he owned and funded with common Black folks’ money.”

He continued, “When I think about the Black Star Line and all the spaces that it’s been in, the Black Star is the representation of Ghana, in their flag, in the fabric of how their country was set up. They believe in global Blackness, Black connectivity and a free Africa.”

The lyrics to “Buried Alive” by Chance the Rapper

I was in a dark space, between a rock and a hard place
Knew I was alive when my heart raced
    Buried alive, but very alive
They’d be very surprised to find out Harry survived
The boy who lived got tied up for marryin’
Tryna ride off into the sunset with nary goodbye
Shot him off his high horse, ate his American pie
Called out his arrogant lies, tossed him in a hole
The middle of nowhere you never could find
Where’s his money now? Wherе his wife at?
Where his managеr? Where his hype at?
Then they threw the dirt on the casket
And into the hunt for the baby and the basket
Nobody Moses, alone with the mallet
That’s when the pen turned the stone to a tablet
Jailbreak stylus, I chiseled like Shawshank
I fought for my life, Ray Gibson, Claude Banks
My ideas turn a cage into shark tank
Tears over war paint, gotta give the Lord “Thanks”
Walkin’ through the desert, same mighty sword
Not yet tired, but I might be sore
I was in a dark space
My mind was playin’ tricks like Scarface
My pen strong like an one-inch punch
I eat all they cornbread, they don’t want they lunch
I was in a dark place, it was me and my pen
None of my friends, none of my kin
None of my weapons, one of my limbs
One of my arms, I made a beat with my elbow first
Then my fist started knockin’ like the bell don’t work
In my palm was the pen from that one fable
The old legendary story of the lunch table
Then I kicked a technique that was so fatal
It went fall down Babylon, Jericho Dagon
Melt every wall in the dungeon dragon
We was in a dark place, now the lights back on
I just needed, I just needed somethin’ I could rap on
Right then and there the roof caved, quick rubble stone
The kid kicked another hole, the dirt filled another hole
The pen in the hand of a hero arose
Clenched fist clawin’ its way out, the highs and the lows
