This is the luxury presidential suite where Harry and Meghan stayed on their trip to Nigeria – as officials revealed they have already invited them back later this year.

Meghan and Harry’s quasi royal tour took on a presidential feel as they were swept through Abuja and Lagos in a 14-car convoy with balaclava clad machine gun toting soldiers.

Initially the couple had been due to stay at the Transcorp Hilton but then for security and logistics – a major gathering of African leaders was taking place at the same time – they switched to the Fraser Suites.

The Duke and Duchess, their security, various Invictus Games directors and aides took over the entire top floor of the Fraser Suites in central Abuja which was their base for the trip which started on Friday.

On its website the Fraser Suites – which has partner hotels in Paris and London – describes itself as the ‘undisputed choice of business and leisure travellers with its impeccable facilities and service s and highly secure location’.

Meghan and Harry had the four bedroom £3,000 a night executive penthouse on the top floor which comes with its own living and dining area and spectacular views of the Nigerian capital.

The couple used the hotel as their base for their numerous wardrobe changes throughout the trip which started on Friday and ended on Sunday night with a charity polo match and fundraiser in Lagos.

They left Abuja early on Monday morning after flying back there from Lagos and were given a military escort.

The Fraser Suites also has a state-of-the-art gym, swimming pool, two restaurants and private gardens but Harry and Meghan ate in their suite and were not seen in public areas of the hotel.

A staff member said: ‘We were all told not speak about them staying here but now they have gone it’s ok to share.

‘They arrived here Friday morning very early and left on Monday morning very early for the British Airways flight back to London.

‘They were supposed to stay elsewhere but because of security and other events going on they came here and to be honest this is a much quieter and discreet hotel.

‘I only saw them briefly, but they seemed very happy to be here in Nigeria and everyone loves Meghan because of her Nigerian heritage.’

The Duchess sparked wild scenes from locals who were delighted after she revealed a DNA test had shown her to be 43% Nigerian and she described the west African nation as ‘my country’ at a talk she gave.

Sussex Squad groupies – fans of the Duke and Duchess – followed the couple throughout the trip, waving flags with pictures of the couple and declaring Meghan their ‘sister’.

After finding out her ancestry Meghan said she called her mum ‘because she wanted to know if she had any awareness of it’.

She added the discovery was ‘exciting’ for both of them and that it was ‘really eye opening and humbling to be able to know more about my heritage and to be able to know this is just the beginning of the discovery’.

The couple had been invited to visit by the chief of defence staff Charles Musa and Harry was keen to showcase the troubled west African nation’s part of his Invictus Games project for wounded service personnel.

While visiting military top brass she thanked them for ‘welcoming me home’ – and proudly wore traditional Nigerian clothes on the final day of the trip she had been given by dignitaries on Saturday.

It came as Nigeria’s Air Vice Marshall Abidemi Marquis, exclusively told MailOnline he had invited the couple back in November when Nigeria is due to host the African Military Games.

He said:’ Harry and Meghan’s visit was a fantastic success and they enjoyed themselves immensely as our guests, they loved the welcome they got, especially Meghan as she is 43 % Nigerian.

‘The objective of the visit, to show how Nigeria is helping it’s wounded soldiers was achieved but it was also an opportunity for them to see the country which they have never visited.

‘The warm welcome they received was obvious and you could see they were enjoying themselves always smiling and waving, I have invited them back for the African Military games later this year.

‘They hope to come, and they are more than welcome here any time, especially with Meghan being Nigerian.’

Then speaking of Harry’s visit to a military hospital in Kaduna – where he went on his own as the area is deemed dangerous AVM Marquis praised Harry for his compassion speaking to injured soldiers.

Paying an almost Mother Theresa style compliment he said:’ For the wounded and injured soldiers to see him and meet him was morale boosting for them.

‘They were encouraged by his words and for them to see and meet the Duke raised their spirits and gave them courage to face what they are going through.

‘Everyone was happy to see him and Meghan from the soldiers to the children and they brought happiness to the people they met that’s why they are welcome back anytime.’

Why Megahn didn’t find time to mention cancer-hit Kate in Nigeria?

MAUREEN CALLAHAN: It’s the Me-Me Markle Tour! Why DIDN’T Meghan find time to mention cancer-hit Kate amid all her self-promo peacocking in Nigeria?

    How’s that for a non-royal royal tour?

A whiplash 72-hour visit to Nigeria saw Harry and Meghan as if on official business — as though they were still working royals, pressing the flesh in pursuit of soft power.

I’m sorry: Wasn’t Megxit spurred, in no small part, by their desire to avoid such ceremonial drudgeries? By what the Gruesome Twosome clearly saw as the pointlessness of diplomatic photo ops, ribbon-cuttings, speeches given in drab rooms to little effect?

‘I can’t believe I’m not getting paid for this.’

That was Meghan Markle during her official 2018 royal tour of Australia, as reported by Valentine Low in his book ‘Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown.’

‘Although she enjoyed the attention’, Low wrote, ‘Meghan failed to understand the point of all those walkabouts, shaking hands with countless strangers.’

Walkabouts are looking pretty good right about now, aren’t they?

Capping a week in which Meghan was absent from the Met Gala — as well as a private, star-studded party thrown by her Montecito neighbor Gwyneth Paltrow (more on that in a bit) — plus Harry’s trip to promote the Invictus Games in the UK, Meghan alighted in Nigeria, her self-proclaimed ‘motherland’, to sing her own praises.

Yes: That’s exactly what one should call a foreign nation when one’s husband, a prince of the blood, has just been seemingly shunned by his father the King, and his entire family, in his actual homeland.

A country that Meghan has not stepped foot in since the Queen’s death — aside from the VIP lounge at Heathrow, where she greeted her husband en route to Africa.

But hey — Meghan’s 43 percent Nigerian, according to her self-reporting, which in her mind makes her Nigeria’s ‘people’s princess,’ I guess.

After calling Nigeria ‘my country’ — ever subtle — Meghan lavished praise upon herself under the guise of complimenting her host nation.

Of course, no individual quote was directly cited. Perhaps she’s learned from her ‘Lion King’/Mandela debacle.

Instead, we get groupthink in the ether.

Here was Meghan co-hosting a Women in Leadership event, bringing it all back to herself:

‘What has been echoed so much in the past day is, “Oh, we are so not surprised when we found out you are Nigerian.” It is a compliment to you, because what they define as a Nigerian woman is brave, resilient, courageous, beautiful.’

Just when you think Markle’s delusions of grandeur have reached peak de-lu-lu.

Day One saw Meghan and Harry speaking to students at a mental health summit.

Because when we think of emotional stability, proportionate responses, and a general healthy, optimistic outlook on life, who among us doesn’t think of the Sussexes?

After calling Nigeria ‘my country’ — ever subtle — Meghan lavished praise upon herself under the guise of complimenting her host nation.

Meghan offered up her typical garlanded vagaries, California sprinkles that mean nothing.

‘You know, every single one of you has a story’, she told students at the Lightway Academy. ‘We all have our story.’

    No kidding.

‘And there’s no shame in any single one of your stories,’ she blathered on. ‘Even on the hardest days or the darkest days, everything is a pillar of your strength by each of you being there.’

    Huh? Being where, exactly?

She should team up with Kamala Harris for a Grand Word Salad Tour of 2024.

Next came a story about Harry and Meghan’s daughter Lili, who is not yet three.

‘A few weeks ago,’ Meghan told the students, ‘she looked at me and saw her reflection in my eyes. She said, “Mama, I see myself in you.”‘

Ah, the Zen of royal toddlers. Princess Lilibet knows what’s up: Affirm Mommy’s greatness at all costs. Push through that limited vocabulary to praise and pay tribute.

Now, this quick trip, undertaken for the ostensible purpose of promoting Invictus (which Harry just promoted in Britain), meant that Meghan was away from her children on Mother’s Day.

    No matter.

‘It feels appropriate,’ Meghan said, ‘that although we, of course, are missing our children, I’m missing my babies, it feels very appropriate to be in the motherland and amongst family.’

If that isn’t a slap in the face to King Charles, who was too ‘busy’ to see his younger son, and to Prince William and Kate Middleton, who have all understandably kept a firm distance — well, what is?

Charles and Kate, of course, are fighting their own cancer battles. Yet hardly not a word of kindness from Meghan amid her in-laws’ own ‘hardest days or darkest days,’ not a nod to ‘everything’ being ‘a pillar’ of their ‘strength’.

But remember everyone, as Meghan always says: Be kind!

Back to Meghan’s reply during her Socratic exchange with Lili.

‘I thought: Yes, I do see me in you, and you see me in you,’ Meghan told the students. ‘But as I look around this room, I see myself in all of you as well.’

Vintage Markle: Me, me, me, me, me. Have I told you about me?

It calls to mind, all too painfully, her acceptance speech at the Ms. Foundation Awards last year, which I recorded as a service to humanity.

Never forget: Markle entered the ballroom through a rental car office. That’s our Duchess of Hertz.

‘Ms.’, Meghan said in her acceptance speech, ‘was formative in [my] cocooning. It piqued my curiosity, and it became the chrysalis for the woman that I would become and that I am today.’

Equally unhinged was Harry reviewing Nigerian troops, standing at attention, as if he hadn’t been stripped of his official military titles upon stepping down. As if King Charles hadn’t officially named William Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps — Harry’s old unit, and a title he would otherwise have been given — on the very day Harry spoke at St. Paul’s last week.

And for all the gripes Harry makes about needing taxpayer-funded security in the UK: These two multimillionaires benefited from government-funded security in Nigeria, despite 87 million Nigerians living below the poverty line.

Equally unhinged was Harry reviewing Nigerian troops (above, on May 10), standing at attention, as if he hadn't been stripped of his official military titles upon stepping down.

But Harry and Meghan are icons of social justice, of equity and fairness everywhere.

It’s theater of the absurd at House Sussex, cosplaying as the royals they so otherwise seem to despise, Meghan swanning about in ill-fitting dresses that fairly sweep the floor.

Can this woman add a stylist, a tailor and maybe a speechwriter to her LinkedIn search?

If only Harry and Meghan could have played the long game. It would have been Meghan front-and-center at the most glittering events, generating tons of goodwill stepping in for sick royals. It would have been Meghan accepting, say, Tom Cruise’s outstretched hand at the next ‘Top Gun’ premiere or sitting front row at the BAFTAs, wearing the crown jewels.

    Alas, it’s faux-royale-with-cheese wherever they’ll be accepted.

Compare this to an event much closer to Meghan’s home: A glamorous, invitation-only outdoor dinner thrown by Gwyneth Paltrow at her Montecito estate, celebrating a collaboration between Goop and the Italian luxury brand Loro Piana.

Per a Vogue dispatch just before the Met Gala, Gwyneth’s guest list included Oprah Winfrey and Ted Sarandos, head of Netflix.

Maybe Meghan’s invite got lost in the mail?

Think about it: Meghan’s new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, is a pale, content-less imitation of Gwyneth’s Goop.

It’s theater of the absurd at House Sussex, cosplaying as the royals they so otherwise seem to despise, Meghan swanning about in ill-fitting dresses that fairly sweep the floor.

Meghan so wants to be Gwyneth, messy buns and sun-kissed California glamour, all mixed with aphoristic, merchandisable self-help.

The kicker? Gwyneth isn’t even likable! But she’s a success nonetheless.

If only Meghan could square that circle. How frustrating that must be for her.

As for Oprah? Well, she’s kept her distance ever since Meghan leveled those ‘royal racist’ claims – the same ones Harry backtracked last year.

Netflix’s Sarandos effectively cancelled Harry and Meghan’s reality docuseries deal but has greenlit a dubious cooking show, hosted by La Markle. Awkward cocktail hour chatter, that.

And American Vogue, which has yet to give Meghan a cover, issued that glowing report from Gwyneth’s star-studded event, throwing A++++ shade all the way.

Calling Gwyneth’s dinner party ‘a note-perfect evening outdoors surrounded by lemon trees’ — ahem — the magazine noted that the meal was in ‘keeping with Montecito’s reputation as the American Riveria.’

    Ha!

If Meghan sent Gwyneth one of her limited-edition jarred jams, replete with peeling stickers and bruised lemon surrounds — well, it seems, Vogue was kind enough not to mention.

As our Discount Duchess once said: ‘Be grateful for the little things.’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem a match made in heaven, with similar values and shared hobbies, including hiking and boxing, but there is one activity that the Sussexes don’t seem to have a joint love of.

In his memoir, Spare, Prince Harry revealed that he and his ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas, whom he dated for two years, had a shared love of skiing, going so far as to call the activity “sacred” and “symbolic”.

WATCH: Inside Prince Harry’s dating history

Harry wrote that during a trip to Switzerland with Cressida, she asked him about his mother, causing him to cry for the first time since Princess Diana’s burial.

“Skiing was so sacred for us, so symbolic, especially after our previous skiing holiday, in Switzerland, when she’d miraculously opened me up,” Harry wrote.

“It happened late one night, after a long day on the slopes, and a fun time at après-ski. We’d gone back to my cousin’s chalet, where we were staying, and Cress was washing her face, brushing her teeth, while I was sitting on the edge of the bath. We were talking about nothing special, as I recall, but suddenly she asked about my mother.

“I answered her, straight-out, and then started to cry,” he shared, before going on to reveal that it was during another ski holiday that he realised his relationship with Cressida was over.

“At some point during that ski trip I’d realised that we weren’t a match,” Harry said. “How odd, I thought. Every time we go skiing… a revelation.”

Prince Harry has been skiing since childhood

Despite his love of snow sports, Prince Harry has never been known to ski with Meghan Markle, despite the couple having visited snowy locations.

Over New Year’s Eve in 2017, the couple took an ultra-private trip to Norway, with royal reporters and co-authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand revealing details in their book, Finding Freedom.

“Harry planned a New Year’s trip where they could really get away from it all,” the book read. “There, Harry and Meghan enjoyed seven days of dog sledding, whale watching, dining on local delicacies, and snuggling to watch as the aurora borealis lit up the skies.”

Meghan and Harry share many active hobbies

As noted, skiing was not on the Sussex’s itinerary. It’s not known whether Meghan can ski, but as someone who is keen on many sports, and has lived in California and Canada, we’d be surprised if she was unable to navigate the slopes.

We wonder whether Meghan and Harry have been on secret ski trips, or if it’s something the pair prefer not to try together. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for snowy snaps of the couple and their children, Archie and Lilibet.

Prince Harry’s former flame then wrote underneath the picture “#quotestoliveby”.

Her followers applauded the quote with many saying “wise words” and others calling the picture “perfect”.

Cressida, an actress, dancer and model, could be expected to attend the wedding at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle in May 2018.

Many people speculated their split could have been because Cressida struggled to deal with the attention of being the girlfriend of the Prince.

Meghan Markle once “couldn’t imagine life” without 1st husband who “worshipped the ground she walked on” – Celebrity Life Talk

Meghan Markle has been happily married to Prince Harry for six years now.

It’s fair to say that the couple have embarked on an extraordinary journey, having two children, leaving the Royal Family entirely, and moving to the US.

Of course, her union to Harry isn’t the first time Meghan Markle has been married – she actually tied the knot back in 2011 with Trevor Engelson.

    Meghan Markle

Meghan and Trevor divorced just two years later, and she went on to become a big television star through her role in the series Suits. Trevor, meanwhile, continued his journey in the entertainment business.

What really caused the divorce between Meghan and Trevor is still quite the mystery. However, a royal expert has now suggested that Meghan divorced him “out of the blue” – and that there was a particular reason for her doing so.

Here’s all you need to know about Meghan Markle’s first marriage.

Meghan Markle was born on August 4, 1981, in Los Angeles, California.

At a young age, she was welcomed into the world of show business thanks to her father, Thomas Markle, an Emmy award-winning lighting director. On many occasions, Meghan got to join her father on set.

She attended the all-girls Immaculate Heart High School in Los Angeles, which was a big contrast compared to being on set.

“Every day after school for 10 years, I was on the set of Married, with Children, which is a really funny and perverse place for a little girl in a Catholic school uniform to grow up,” she told Esquire.

“There were a lot of times my dad would say, ‘Meg, why don’t you go and help with the craft services room over there? This is just a little off-color for your 11-year-old eyes.’”

As a child, Meghan showed a strong will to change the world to a better place. By age 11, she saw a commercial for a dishwashing soap only aimed at women, which upset her.

“I don’t think it’s right for kids to grow up thinking these things, that just Mom does everything,” she said.

Her father supported his daughter’s will to change things, and aided her in writing to high-profile people, including Hillary Clinton, hoping they could help. Just a few days later, the company producing the soap changed its slogan from “Women All Over America” to “People All Over America.”

Since Meghan was very interested in show business, she went on to study communication at Northwestern University. She says she always wanted to act but “hated the idea of being this cliché a girl from L.A. who decides to be an actress.”

    First job in show business
Later, she moved to Illinois to double-major in theater and international relations at the prestigious Evanston school.

Following her getting an internship at the U.S. Embassy in Argentina, Markle thought she might head into a career in politics. However, the theater was always her biggest dream, even if her first job in show business wasn’t all that great.

Markle auditioned for shows at the same time as she studied, but her first role was actually as a briefcase girl on the game show Deal or No Deal.

“I was the ill-fated number 26, which for some reason no one would ever choose,” Meghan told Esquire.

“I would end up standing up there forever in these terribly uncomfortable and inexpensive five-inch heels just waiting for someone to pick my number so I could go and sit down.”

Soon after, she started appearing in productions, landing more minor roles in films such as Get Him to the Greek and Remember Me, as well as the television series General Hospital. However, everything changed in 2011 when she landed the part of paralegal Rachel Zane on USA’s monster hit Suits.

She got great advice from her dad, having been a photography director.

“I will always find my light, no question,” she said. “And if I don’t, I’ll know, because my dad will be the first person to call me and say like, ‘You need to have him bring another 2K in,’ and ‘Why aren’t you using this sort of lighting gel?’ The crew guys know that it’s where I grew up.”

Meghan Markle – who is her first husband Trevor Engelson?
Meghan played the part of Rachel Zane on Suits until 2018. That was the year her life would again change forever when she met and married Prince Harry.

As we know, however, Meghan had actually been married once before.

While yet at the beginning of her successful acting career, Meghan met her first husband, Trevor Engelson. According to IMDB, he was born on October 23, 1976, in Great Neck, Long Island, New York, and attended the University of Southern California’s School of Communications.

Engelson started as a production assistant in the film business, but worked his way up to become a film producer. He’s worked on many projects, including the 2006 film Remember Me, starring Robert Pattinson. His then-girlfriend Meghan Markle had a cameo in his movie early in her acting career.

Moreover, Trevor has been involved in productions such as License to Wed and All About Steve. Furthermore, he’s acted as executive producer on six episodes of the Heathers television remake.

According to Grazia, the 45-year-old manages screenwriters, novelists, actors, and film directors in Los Angeles when not on set working with films and television shows.

So, how did Trevor and Meghan Markle meet? According to The Sun, they crossed paths for the first time in 2004. The couple dated for about seven years before marrying in September, 2011. Their wedding took place at the Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios in Jamaica, and lasted for three days.

Trevor was ‘to busy’ to visit his wife
According to The Sun, the couple arranged for around 100 guests to attend parties, drinking games at the beach, brunches, and even a wheelbarrow race. The ceremony? Well, that only took 15 minutes.

As mentioned, Meghan was one of the briefcase models on the game show Deal or No Deal. However, according to the author Andrew Morton’s book Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, Trevor wasn’t too keen on seeing her while she was on set.

According to Morton (via Express), Engelson didn’t visit her as other husbands or friends of the models did, which was “unusual.” Apparently, this was because he was occupied with his work as a producer, and even skipped out on traveling with Meghan during her downtime because of it.

“They were driven individuals, Trevor as busy, if not more so than his girlfriend,” royal biographer Andrew Morton wrote in Meghan: A Hollywood Princess.

“It was also noticeable that unlike the boyfriends and husbands of her Deal or No Deal sisters, Trevor never visited Meghan on set.

“It was so unusual that his absence was commented on by the other girls.”

“However, there were plenty of other celebrities, mainly sports stars, who dropped by, some clearly trying to get up close and personal with the girls,” he added.

Meghan Markle allegedly posted her wedding ring to Trevor Engelson
In 2011, the same year Meghan and Trevor married, Meghan Markle debuted on the television series Suits. It was an instant success, and not long after, she moved to Toronto as the show was mainly filmed there.

Meghan landed the role just months before she married Trevor, and having to take a five-hour flight just to see each other became an obstacle for married life. Though they stayed connected through video calls, it didn’t solve the challenging situation.

“Whether she wanted to admit it to herself or not, Meghan who once said she couldn’t imagine life without Trevor by her side, was now building a new world for herself,” Andrew Morton wrote in Meghan: A Hollywood Princess.

“As Toronto was becoming more her home than LA, the dynamics in their relationship subtly altered.”

Markle stayed on Suits for more than 100 episodes, until 2018. But by 2013, she and Trevor Engelson had divorced. The couple cited “irreconcilable differences” at the time.

At a later stage, Markle’s half-brother Thomas told Express that Trevor “worshipped the ground she walked on”.

“Trevor was devastated at the split,” an insider told The Sun in 2017.

“She suddenly had no more time for him. Meghan broke Trevor’s heart, pure and simple. He is still in love with her and so the revelation of her new relationship with Harry has hit him hard.”

Royal biographer Andrew Morton suggested that the split shocked Trevor – and that Meghan even posted her engagement and wedding rings to him as a sign that their marriage had ended.

“Whether she wanted to admit it to herself or not, Meghan, who once said she couldn’t imagine life without Trevor by her side, was now building a new world for herself,” he wrote.

“He would arrive for appointments slightly late and dishevelled”
“As Toronto was becoming more her home than LA, the dynamics in their relationship subtly altered. She was her own woman now, earning a steady income, making new friends on set and off, no longer dependent on her husband’s connections.”

Indeed, the spit between Meghan and Trevor seems to have been quite dramatic. Meghan’s former childhood friend Nikki Priddy and author Lady Colin Campbell seem tot hink so, in any case.

In the book Meghan and Harry: The Real Story, Campbell wrote that after moving to Toronto, Meghan began hanging out with celebrities, among them celebrity stylist Jesica Mulroney.

It led the former Suits star to distance herself from her then-husband.

“Trevor had always been laidback where she was controlled and controlling,” Lady Colin Campbell wrote.

“He would arrive for appointments slightly late and disheveled, his shirt out of his trousers and maybe a spot of food on his lapel, while the perfectly contained and self-possessed Meghan was always immaculately turned out.”

Nikky Priddy – Meghan’s maid of honor when she married Trevor – alleged that Meghan thought her husband was “embarrassing” for her image.

Trevor Engeelson to speak out in new tell-all book?
“According to Nikki’s interpretation of Meghan’s motives, having found herself a new and more ‘classy’ circle of friends, she did not wish to be bogged down with her embarrassing misfit of a husband or even her old and less Establishment circle of friends,” Colin Campbell further wrote in her book.

Meghan hasn’t spoken about the divorce with Trevor Engelson in public. Interestingly, though, royal fans might soon get to know her ex-husband’s story in full.

Author Tom Bower is set to release a new book about Meghan Markle. In an interview with Closer, he has promised fresh interviews with Trevor Engelson.

“This particular individual would truly have a remarkable story because, after all, he would have first-hand experience of what it was like, yes what it was like, to be married the first time around to the actress from Suits,” Bower said.

Rory filed for divorce in Florida on Monday, according to TMZ, seven years after they walked down the aisle and four years after they welcomed their daughter, Poppy.

Amid the shocking news, FEMAIL has rounded up everything you need to know about Rory’s extremely rocky dating history.

Long before he kicked off his romance with Erica, rumors swirled that Rory was dating Suits actress Meghan – after they were caught hanging out in a video shared to her social media accounts in 2014.

The two also reportedly enjoyed a late-night rendezvous together, enjoying a drink at a swanky New York City hotel before grabbing dinner at acclaimed celebrity hotspot Cipriani.

The speculated pairing came fresh off Rory’s split from tennis star Caroline Wozniacki – who he started dating in 2011 and was with for three years before he called it quits while they were in the middle of planning their wedding.

Before that, he was linked to one of his childhood friends, named Holly Sweeney, for years, but after they went their separate ways, she accused him of leaving her for Caroline.

Around the same time that he was seen hanging out with Meghan, Rory also made headlines for attending a college party, during which he was seen draping his arm around a young blonde.

As Rory splits from his wife of seven years, take a look back at all of his past romances – from his rumored relationship with the Duchess of Sussex to his other shocking breakups.

Rory’s first romance began when he was a teenager – and just as he was starting his wildly successful golf career.

He began dating his childhood friend Holly when he was only 16 and she was 14 – right after he became the youngest-ever winner of the West of Ireland Championship and the Irish Close Championship.

‘She knows me better than basically anyone else in this world does, apart from my parents. And someone like that with you is very grounding,’ he gushed of Holly in the 2011 documentary Rory’s Major Breakthrough.

They were together for years and she was by his side almost every step of the way as he became a massive star, but they suddenly split in 2011 – soon after he met Caroline.

In a statement at the time, Rory said that the split was ‘amicable,’ but afterwards, Holly alleged that the sports star had left her for Danish tennis pro Caroline.

She told Irish Sunday Mirror, ‘Rory ran away with Caroline. I never thought he would do this to me.

‘It killed me – I went away to Dubai as soon as we split up so I didn’t have to look or think about it.

After their split, Holly alleged that the sports star had left her for Danish tennis pro Caroline Wozniacki. Rory and Holly are seen together in 2011

‘I always suspected he had a thing for her. He’s always been a big fan of tennis. When he was watching the women’s games he always said he fancied her but I didn’t take it that seriously – little did I know.’

She claimed they had a brief separation before that, but had gotten back together, insisting that things seemed to be ‘going really well’ before he dumped her.

‘We hadn’t been back together very long but I thought things were going really well,’ she continued.

‘But then to he sat down and told [me]… that was just a shock I was just upset that he hadn’t learned anything from the separation before. I felt like all the effort I put in to make the relationship work was completely wasted.’

Holly eventually moved on with hockey player Jeff Mason, and after she announced she was pregnant, Rory sent her his well wishes.

‘I’m happy for her,’ he said. ‘It’s great to see she’s happy.’

Shocking split: Rory reportedly dumped Caroline during a three-minute phone call – just after they had sent out the invitations to their wedding

Soon after his split from Holly, Rory started dating Caroline, and they got engaged in 2013 (the couple pictured that same year)

They split months later - just after they had sent out the invitations to their wedding - and it was reported that Rory broke up with Caroline during a three-minute phone call

They split months later – just after they had sent out the invitations to their wedding – and it was reported that Rory broke up with Caroline during a three-minute phone call

Soon after his split from Holly, Rory started dating Caroline. It’s been said that the two stars met at a boxing match in Germany after they were seated next to one another, and immediately hit it off.

Rory and Caroline were together for three years before he got down on one knee and popped the question on New Year’s Eve in 2013.

But things came to a screeching halt months later – just after they had sent out the invitations to their wedding.

Rory announced the split in May 2014, claiming ‘it was mutual’ and that they ‘both thought it was the best.’

Afterwards, however, reports emerged that said he broke up with Caroline during a three-minute phone call.

He later confessed that it was his decision to end the romance, stating, ‘There is no right way to end a relationship that has been so important to two people.

‘The problem is mine. The wedding invitations issued at the weekend made me realize that I wasn’t ready for all that marriage entails.

‘I wish Caroline all the happiness she deserves and thank her for the great times we’ve had. I will not be saying anything more about our relationship in any setting.’

In 2017, he hinted that their popularity played into the split. He admitted, ‘I thought at the time that being with someone that was in a similar position to you was the obvious answer.

‘But it isn’t, because you can never get away from it. You can never detach yourself and try to come back to the real world.’

Rumored fling with Meghan Markle: Rory was seen getting flirty with the Suits star in a video shared to her social media in 2014 – long before she met Prince Harry

Rory and Meghan sparked romance rumors in 2014 after the two were seen getting flirty in a video shared to her social media account

Rory and Meghan sparked romance rumors in August 2014, after the two were seen getting flirty in a video shared to her social media account.

At the time, the golfer helped the actress participate in the Ice Bucket Challenge – a viral social media trend designed to raise awareness for ALS.

In the clip, Rory stood behind Meghan and poured a cooler full of ice onto her head before she erupted in laughter.

It was reported that they got a drink at the Fitzpatrick Hotel in New York together afterwards, followed by a dinner at Cipriani.

Former BBC journalist and renowned royal expert Tom Bower later wrote in his 2022 book Revenge: Meghan, Harry, And The War Between The Windsors that she and Rory met for the first time that day after he ‘unexpectedly’ nominated her for the ice bucket challenge.

‘She accepted the challenge, on condition that Rory came to her friend’s apartment and personally poured the bucket over her on the balcony,’ he wrote.

Meghan, who was reportedly dating chef Cory Vitiello at the time, later gushed over Rory on her blog, The Tig.

‘Ah yes. Rory McIlroy. THE Rory McIlroy. Whispered (and shouted) to be the foremost golfer in the world, loved by Tiger, respected by Palmer, and dumper of frigid water on to my lone head for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. That Rory McIlroy,’ she wrote.

‘He is a force who has the propensity to actually work hard and play hard – relishing intense practices to substantiate his title, embracing nights of sipping Opus One (his bold and impressive choice of wine) and indulging in group dinners at Cipriani – for the balance, of course.

‘And yet, beyond his work/play ethic, the most endearing quality of this man is his character – as real and honest as they come, appreciating a simple smile, never shunning a fan photo, enjoying a plate of pasta with veal ragu, and expressing a love for his parents that is rarely seen in men his age. Or at any age, to be honest.

‘He is not just the real deal… he is real. And perhaps that is what makes him even more cherished.’

In October 2014, the two were also spotted dining at Fade Street Social in Dublin, where an onlooker said she looked ‘smitten.’

Afterwards, Tom claimed in the tome that Meghan’s boyfriend ‘challenged’ her and asked, ‘Had there been an affair?’ but that she insisted they were just friends and ‘he believed her.’

Tom also alleged that Meghan was ‘keen to use their close relationship to promote herself.’

Rory, then 25, was seen getting cozy with a mystery blonde in October 2014 while attending a college party in St. Andrews.

A snap showed the golfer with his arm draped around the woman, as the two grinned towards the camera.

‘There were students, top golfers, caddies [at the party] – all having a great time,’ an onlooker told the Daily Record afterwards.

‘People were smoking rolled-up cigarettes while drinking their champagne and Rory seemed quite relaxed around it all.

‘It seemed pretty incredible one of the world’s most famous sportsmen would be quite happy to be photographed with a bunch of students at a party.

‘But he didn’t appear to be concerned at all and immediately after the picture was taken he chatted to the girl for a while.’

In addition, the Irish Mirror reported that Meghan and Rory were ‘never more than friends.’

Finding the one… or so he thought: Rory married Erica Stoll in 2017 and they welcomed their daughter in 2020 – but he has now filed for divorce

In September 2020, they welcomed their baby girl, named Poppy, but the golfer has now filed for divorce. The former couple is seen in 2016

Rory and Erica met in 2012 and were friends for quite some time before things turned romantic.

‘The thing I love about it is that we were friends before anything romantic happened,’ Rory previously told Irish Independent about his and Erica’s relationship.

‘We met when she was working for the PGA of America and renting a condo in Palm Beach, and I found it refreshing being with someone who was living a normal life rather than, “Oh! My jet is 30 minutes late.”

‘I feel in such a good place now. I don’t feel Erica wants to change me in any way. I can be myself around her – there’s no bulls**t, no acting, no show.’

They got engaged in 2015, and officially became husband and wife two years later during a star-studded wedding held at the Ashford Castle in Ireland.

Celebrity attendees at the nuptials included Jamie Dornan, Ed Sheeran, Niall Horan, Stevie Wonder, and Chris Martin.

In September 2020, they welcomed their baby girl, named Poppy, who he called the ‘absolute love of their lives.’

Harry and Meghan break their silence after Archewell “scandal”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hint there are more quasi-royal African tours in the pipeline as they thank Nigeria for ‘the first of many memorable trips’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have hinted they are planning more quasi-royal African tours in future after thanking Nigeria for the ‘first of many memorable trips’.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been flying back to California after leaving Abuja yesterday following a three-day visit to the country at the military’s invitation.

And the couple hailed their time in Nigeria as ‘unforgettable’ in a press release on Sussex.com today following the visit related to Harry’s Invictus Games competition.

Their statement added: ‘The Duke and Duchess would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all the event organisers, military officials and the whole Nigerian community for their tremendous hospitality and the first of many memorable trips.’

But the Sussexes did not mention the news emerging overnight that their Archewell Foundation was listed as ‘delinquent’ by a US charity regulator. Sources close to the couple claimed today that this was because state officials did not process a cheque.

The couple hailed their time in Nigeria as 'unforgettable' in a press release on Sussex.com

There have been eight press releases on Sussex.com about the couple’s Nigeria trip which took them to Abuja and Lagos and ran last week from Friday until Sunday.

Harry and Meghan are thought to have flown from Abuja to London Heathrow yesterday before heading onto Los Angeles to be reunited with their children Archie and Lilibet.

Today, in a press release about their trip coming to end, the Sussexes referred to the reception they received in Lagos and their attendance at a polo match.

The statement said: ‘Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex concluded their unforgettable trip to Nigeria with a cultural reception in Lagos and a polo match fundraiser for Nigeria: Unconquered.

‘The couple was greeted with a beautiful pre-game parade – a vibrant display of young enthusiasts in polo gear, proudly waving the green and white flags of Nigeria – followed by a procession of older children on horseback, setting the tone for a day filled with sport and spirit.

‘The friendly rivalry between the teams, aptly named Duke vs Duchess, added a layer of excitement to the event, with the Duchess’s team claiming victory with a score of 5-3. The day was capped off with the couple presenting medals, a gesture of appreciation for the players’ prolific talent and dedication.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visit the Lagos State Governor's Office in Nigeria on May 12

‘The Duke and Duchess would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all the event organisers, military officials and the whole Nigerian community for their tremendous hospitality and the first of many memorable trips.’

It follows Harry and Meghan’s visit to the country to promote mental health for soldiers and empower young people.

The couple attended events related to Harry’s Invictus Games, which Nigeria is seeking to host in future.

The Sussexes were also welcomed at the Lagos State Government House and met military officials at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.

Following their trip, sources close to Harry and Meghan claimed today that the Archewell Foundation was branded ‘delinquent’ because state officials did not process a $200 (£160) cheque.

The organisation was also billed as ‘not in good standing’ by the Registry of Charities and Fundraisers – part of the Department of Justice in California, the state where the Duke and Duchess live in a £12million mansion and operate the charity.

The registry said Archewell failed to properly submit its annual report or renewal fees and has banned it from either fundraising or distributing charitable funds for now.

Meghan smiles as she receives flowers during a sitting volleyball match in Abuja on May 11

But Sussex sources claimed today that the ‘delinquency notice’ was actually issued because Attorney General Rob Bonta’s office did not process the $200 cheque.

This was a different explanation to the one offered by the same Sussex sources last night, who claimed that the paperwork was filed on time but the discrepancy was down to a cheque which accompanied the documents going missing in the post.

Sussex sources told MailOnline this morning that the Archewell Foundation’s tax filings for 2022 were submitted in full in accordance with all regulations in the US, which was widely reported in the media last December – including by this website.

They said the California state filing, renewal and required payment were sent and delivered to the Attorney General’s office via tracked mail, and received on time.

However, the delinquency notice was then issued on May 3 because the cheque had not been processed by the Attorney General’s Office, according to the sources.

Meghan listens to speakers at a Women in Leadership event in Abuja, Nigeria, on May 11

Until Archewell Foundation officials could confirm the tracked mail and receive acknowledgment of receipt, they assumed that the cheque had been lost in the mail – hence the initial explanation, which has now turned out to be false.

MailOnline also understands that the Department of Justice will issue a statement later today with further clarification on the matter.

The $200 cheque was for an annual registration renewal fee, which is determined by a sliding scale based on an organisation’s total revenue.

In Archewell’s case, its most recent revenue was about $2million – putting it within the ‘between $1,000,001 and $5 million’ section of the sliding scale.

The $200 figure has been confirmed to MailOnline by a source close to the Sussexes.

It comes as Harry and Meghan were yesterday flying back from their high profile three-day visit to Abuja and Lagos in Nigeria that was dubbed a royal tour in all but name.

During the trip the Sussexes announced a partnership between the Archewell Foundation and the Geanco Foundation, a charity in Nigeria which leads surgical missions, promotes maternal health and provides scholarships to young female victims of terrorism.

The Archewell Foundation is a non-profit organisation created by Harry and Meghan when they moved to the US after stepping down as senior royals in 2020.

On its website, it says its mission is to ‘show up, do good’, adding: ‘We meet the moment by showing up, taking action and using our unparalleled spotlight to uplift and unite communities – local and global – through acts of service and compassion.’

The foundation is separate from the couple’s Archewell media and business divisions which have been involved in the Netflix and Spotify productions.

It follows Harry and Meghan’s visit to Nigeria from Friday until Sunday to promote mental health for soldiers and empower young people.

A delinquency notice letter was sent to the Archewell Foundation on May 3 saying the charity is "listed as delinquent" for "failing to submit required annual report(s) and/or renewal fees"

The couple were invited to the West African nation by its military, and attended events related to Harry’s Invictus Games, which Nigeria is seeking to host in future.

The couple were also welcomed at the Lagos State Government House and met military officials at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.

According to tax filings disclosed by Archewell last December, the organisation had suffered an $11million (£9million) decline in donations in 2022 compared to the previous year.

The records showed that the charity received just over $2million (£1.6million) in charitable donations in 2022 compared to $13million (£10million) in 2021.

And while in 2021 Archewell had reported a revenue of more than $9million (£7million), the December 2023 filings showed that by 2022 it had recorded a loss of more than $674,000 (£537,000) due to costs of $2.67million (£2.13million).

Royal Wow! King Charles Unveils Groundbreaking Post-Coronation Portrait

All about Queen Camilla’s reported reaction to the artsy take

A dramatic new portrait of King Charles has been unveiled.

On May 14, the King, 75, revealed his first official portrait since his coronation in May 2023. The intense, fiery painting by Jonathan Yeo, was unveiled at Buckingham Palace and was commissioned in 2020 to commemorate the monarch marking 50 years as a member of The Draper’s Company in 2022.

The portrait features the King in the uniform of the Welsh Guards, connecting to the regiment he was made Regimental Colonel of in 1975 as the Prince of Wales. The position has since passed to his eldest son, Prince William.

Queen Camilla had a thoughtful reaction when she first saw the portrait.

“Yes, you’ve got him,” the Queen, 76, told Yeo, according to the BBC. The piece measures about 8 ½ by 6 ½ feet, framed, to fit in with the architecture of Drapers’ Hall, the hub of the historic guild.

The painting came to be after four sittings, which began in June 2021 at Highgrove House (when Charles was the Prince of Wales), and concluded with a session at Clarence House in November 2023. Yeo, one of the world’s leading portrait artists, has also depicted Prince Philip, Queen Camilla, Malala Yousafzai, Tony Blair, David Cameron, Sir David Attenborough and more.

“It was a privilege and pleasure to have been commissioned by The Drapers’ Company to paint this portrait of His Majesty The King, the first to be unveiled since his Coronation. When I started this project, His Majesty The King was still His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, and much like the butterfly I’ve painted hovering over his shoulder, this portrait has evolved as the subject’s role in our public life has transformed,” Yeo said in a statement.

“I do my best to capture the life experiences etched into any individual sitter’s face. In this case, my aim was also to make reference to the traditions of Royal portraiture but in a way that reflects a 21st Century Monarchy and, above all else, to communicate the subject’s deep humanity,” he continued. “I’m unimaginably grateful for the opportunity to capture such an extraordinary and unique person, especially at the historic moment of becoming King.”

Simon Dorante-Day claims he is Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles’ child

A British-born Electronics and Telecommunications engineer who settled in Australia after being adopted believes he is the love child of Prince Charles and Camilla and is heading to the country’s High Court to try to force the heir to the throne and his wife to take a DNA test.

Simon Dorante-Day, 53, has admitted court clerks laughed when he first filed his papers and despite his breathtaking legal claim being thrown out three times already he is refusing to give up ‘his 40 year search’ for the truth about his birth parents.

He believes that his parentage will have been discussed by the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry at this month’s Sandringham summit where the terms of Harry and Meghan’s ‘Megxit’ deal were thrashed out. And last year he caused upset having claimed Princess Diana’s death in Paris in August 1997 came after ‘she was going to go public with it’.

Simon claims his adoptive grandparents Winifred and Ernest worked for the Queen and Prince Philip as a cook and a gardener respectively and told him ‘many times’ that he was ‘Charles and Camilla’s child’.

He said previously: ‘I know it sounds unbelievable, but anything I say is checkable… I’m simply a man looking for my biological parents, and every road has led me back to Camilla and Charles’.

Simon Dorante-Day, 53, b  (pictured as a teenager), who now lives in Queensland, has spoken a number of times about his belief that he was put up for adoption by then 18-year-old Camilla Shand

Simon Dorante-Day, 53, believes he is the love child of Prince Charles (right in 1961) and Camilla, claiming he was conceived in 1965 when the heir to the throne was 17 and Camilla was 18

Simon Dorante-Day, 53, was born in Gosport, near Portsmouth, in April 1966, and was adopted at 18 months old by British couple Karen and David Day

Charles and Camilla (pictured together in 1975) went their separate ways with the Prince of Wales marrying Diana and Camilla  marrying Andrew Parker Bowles. The couple finally married in 2005

Mr Dorante-Day has shared this royal line-up on Facebook surrounded by people he claims are his relatives. Clarence House has not commented on his allegations

Mr Dorante was born in Gosport, Hampshire in April 1966 and was adopted when he was 18-months-old by Winifred and Ernest’s  Karen and David Day.

If his bizarre allegations are true, he would have had to have been conceived in 1965, when Charles was 17 and Camilla, 18, and he claims his Windsor-like cheek-bones and teeth, and ‘Camilla-style hair’, is compelling evidence his claims are true.

He even calls himself ‘Prince Simon’ on social media and his Facebook page is packed with posts where he matches his face from birth to today with Charles, Camilla and their children, with particular focus on Prince William and Tom Parker-Bowles.

The British national denies claims his story is ‘bonkers’ and ‘bogus’, including critics who point out that his eyes are brown but Charles and Camilla both have blue eyes.

One commentator who took him to task said: ‘Two people who have blue eyes cannot produce a brown eyed person. How is that explained in your case Simon?’

The 53-year-old responded: ‘That’s been explained publicly Sue it’s already out there – that’s why they had to tamper with my eyes – exactly the point’.

He also says he has compelling evidence proving his claim but said online: ‘As things are all part of the court case at the moment I can’t discuss much further.’

Simon Mr Dorante-Day, who now lives in Queensland, has spoken a number of times about his belief that he was put up for adoption by then 18-year-old Camilla Shand, which appears to have been secured via his adoptive grandparents who had worked for the royal family.

‘My grandmother, who worked for the Queen, told me outright that I was Camilla and Charles’ son many times,’ he told New Idea.

His wife Elvianna told the magazine: ‘We believe that Camilla fell pregnant to Charles and that Camilla, with the help of her family and the royals, kept Simon until he was 18 months old.’

Simon has used his facebook page to match up his own photos with his alleged relatives, including Tom Parker-Bowles

Mr Dorante-Day has said that he has cheek bones that are similar to Prince Charles and his mother the Queen

Mr Dorante-Day claims his adoptive grandparents Winifred and Ernest worked for the Queen and Prince Philip as a cook and a gardener respectively and told him 'many times' that he was 'Charles and Camilla's child'

The 53-year-old filed papers to the High Court just before Christmas, claiming his story is the ‘most explosive’ thing to happen to the palace.

‘It’s definitely the most significant step I’ve taken so far – I’ve had to force a deadline, hold them to a date, because we need answers,’ he said.

But they were eventually sent down to a High Court judge in Sydney to review and assess the case, he said.

Mr Dorante-Day said the palace would have learnt of his High Court submissions and the revelation would have caused ‘panic’ before Christmas.

In the wake of ‘Megxit’, Mr Dorante-Day is adamant his case would have come up during crisis talks at Sandringham Estate.

‘While the whole world was thinking they were talking about Harry, we believe this legal battle would’ve also been on the agenda and discussed,’ he said.

Mr Dorante-Day’s new case is requesting a mediation session and a ‘Statement of Paternity’.

He claims Prince Charles, Camilla and the Queen have spent ‘years’ hiding from the truth.

The Queensland-based engineer has three other cases before the courts, which relate to his employment and belief he was unfairly dismissed.

Mr Dorante-Day, who is married to an Indigenous Australian woman named Elvianna, often posts updates on his bid to be recognised by the royal family to Facebook.

He penned an open letter to Prince Harry and Meghan where he drew similarities between his cross-cultural union with theirs.

He also shares side-by-side comparison photos of himself with members of the Royal Family, which he claims reveal a striking similarity.

The man who claims to be a royal love child: Who is Simon Dorante-Day?

Mr Dorante-Day is a 53-year-old British national who believes he’s the love child of Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.

He claims his parents adopted him when he was 18 months old.

In an interview with Today Tonight, Mr Dorante-Day said his family had no other connection to the British Royal family. But says his grandmother met his grandfather while they worked as a cook and a gardener for the Royal family.

    Why was he in court?

Mr Dorante-Day wants the court to help him return to work after he was suspended from his job with pay in June 2018 for allegedly threatening his boss while discussing leave balances.

In a written complaint, Mr Dorante-Day’s supervisor alleges the radio-electrical engineer made him feel threatened when he said: ‘that if I wanted to get into a driverless car heading for a cliff, then I would go over the cliff’.

Mr Dorante-Day is alleged to have also told his supervisor he was being watched by authorities investigating ‘the royal issue’.

He unsuccessfully appealed the Public Service Commission’s decision to suspend him from work at the Public Safety Business Agency.

He represented himself at the trial.

He argued, unsuccessfully, that the public service had acted unconstitutionally and he had not received natural justice because there was a lack of evidence and due process wasn’t followed.

What does any of this have to do on his claim of Royalty?

Mr Dorante-Day told the court his ‘royal issue’ had caused problems with colleagues.

He said it was a contributing factor to him being suspended.

Interviews he had given to New Idea magazine about his royal beliefs were an issue, he said.

Will this decision by the Queensland Supreme Court on Tuesday end his legal battles?

No. Mr Dorante-Day previously told AAP he planned to file a case with the Federal Court over his claims of being a love child when he was back at work.

He said he faces another concurrent suspension from his job which he plans to fight at the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission.

After it was announced that King Charles III has cancer, Prince Harry’s recent trip to see him led to rumors of a possible family reunion. But the problems that have been going on for a long time in the royal family may need more time to be fully fixed.

Prince Harry quickly went back to the UK to be with King Charles III during this difficult time after the king was given an unexpected cancer diagnosis. On February 5, 2024, the Royal Family told everyone that the King was sick.

There has always been a lot of trouble in Harry’s relationship with his father, and some of it has been made public. The Duke of Sussex writes in his autobiography, “Spare,” that his father supposedly said, “”Wonderful! Now you’ve given me an heir and a spare—my work is done,” he said to Diana.

Harry always thought that the fact that his father was older made their connection worse, even when he was young. While he had fun with his mother, he never had the same connection with King Charles III.

To try to make things better with his son, the King wanted to show how much he loved and appreciated him by helping him pick out an orchestra for his 2018 wedding. But things got worse between the father and son after Harry and Markle said they would step down from their official royal tasks in 2020 and try to live a more independent life.

He left California, where he lives with his wife Meghan Markle and their two kids, Archie and Lilibet, and drove for 11 hours to get to Clarence House in central London to be with his dad.

As Harry drove through the gates of Clarence House, he was seen in the back of a Range Rover, which was part of a big group. The 75-year-old King Charles III is currently recovering from treatment for an unknown type of cancer.

A lot of people see Prince Harry’s surprise visit as a hopeful sign that the royal family will get along again, especially after King Charles’ shocking cancer news. However, it was still unclear how long Prince Harry would stay in the UK. There were rumors that he might be in central London, or he might choose to stay at Windsor, at Frogmore Cottage, where he and Meghan used to live.

Richard Fitzwilliams, a royal historian, stressed how important it was to stick together during these times. Fitzwilliams is sure that Harry will be willing to forget about old problems in order to keep the family together. “Everyone pulling in the same direction is so important,” Fitzwilliams said.

Kristina Kyriacou, who used to be the King’s press secretary, agreed with this assessment of the close relationship between King Charles III and Harry. She said that the King loved his son very much and never wanted this gap between them to grow.

But Kyriacou is hopeful that this terrible event will lead to a happy reunion, not just between the father and son but also among the royal family as a whole. “If out of bad news, some good news comes and Harry and the King and the Queen and his brother are reunited – how wonderful,” she reiterated.

Reports say that Harry’s meeting with King Charles and Camilla was very short, only 45 minutes long. During this time, he didn’t get to see his brother William or his sister-in-law Kate, who is also said to be healing from surgery on her abdomen.

Additionally, a source said that Harry had directly asked Camilla not to be in the room when he talked to his father about the King’s cancer diagnosis. People saw this request as a missed chance to reach out and make peace.

Based on the short time he spent with his father and stepmother without seeing his brother, royal experts think it will be a long time before he can get along with the Royal Family again. Harry was only in England for 24 hours before he caught his next trip back to California.

In his honest autobiography, Harry wrote about how things were rough between him and Camilla. He said that meeting Camilla was like getting a shot, “Close your eyes, over before you know it.” He wrote it. Even though the memory wasn’t clear, he was sure that neither of them cared what the other thought of them. “She wasn’t my mother and I wasn’t her biggest hurdle,” added Harry.

It was said that the Duke of Sussex and Prince William never wanted their father to marry the Queen Consort. Harry said that since they were already together, taking the next step didn’t seem appropriate.

William and Harry made it clear that they would back Camilla up completely. “We support you, we said. We endorse Camilla. Just please don’t marry her. Just be with her, Pa,” Harry recalled. But the King wanted her to be a real member of the Royal Family.

There was trouble when Camilla joined the royal family, mostly because of her past. It was hard for her to fix her image since she was the “other woman.” “She was the villain. She was the third person in the marriage,” the Duke of Sussex said. Harry thought it was dangerous for her to try to fit in and become queen.

Harry said Camilla was “dangerous” because she was close to the media and trying to fix her reputation in the royal family. This was because private family issues could be leaked, which could hurt their image in the Royal Family.

So, Harry thought that he was one of the family members who might be in danger. In his autobiography, he wrote about times when his stepmother reportedly told other people about private meetings they had.

He also said that Camilla and King Charles III were not happy with all the attention William and Kate were getting because they thought it took away from their own projects that they were working on together. It came out that Camilla had turned Harry’s old bedroom into her dressing room, which made their relationship even more complicated.

This was after Harry’s autobiography and interviews in which he talked about his relationship with Camilla. People who know her well said that she was “hurt” by how she was presented in Harry’s book. She is, however, getting used to her new job as Queen Consort and finding her voice.

The split in the Royal Family was seen by everyone. Prince Harry’s visit to King Charles III gave people hope that things might be getting better, but it might take a lot longer than most people thought.
