When Manchester rapper Aitch confirmed he was heading into the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! jungle this year, fans assumed it was for the thrill, the exposure, or simply the challenge.

But the truth is far more emotional — and far more personal.

The 25-year-old star, whose real name is Harrison James Armstrong, revealed that his decision was driven entirely by one person: his little sister Gracie, the 13-year-old he describes as “the most perfect girl I’ve ever met.”

A Mission Bigger Than Himself

Speaking with raw honesty, Aitch shared that he is stepping into the jungle not for publicity, but to change how the world sees Down Syndrome — and to support families who might feel fear or uncertainty after receiving a diagnosis.

He wants parents to know they haven’t been handed something tragic.

“It’s a blessing,” he said firmly.
“You’re going to have the best time of your life as long as you’re spending it with that person.”

For Aitch, this isn’t a campaign — it’s a duty. He refuses to let Down Syndrome be spoken about as if it were a burden, a mistake, or a shadow on a family’s future.

“They’re the best people in the world,” he added, his voice carrying both pride and protectiveness.

A Brother’s Love That Changed Everything

Aitch’s bond with Gracie has long been known to fans. His hit track My G — whose profits all go to the Down’s Syndrome Association — was written entirely as a tribute to her.
The song begins with a heartfelt message: “You have the biggest heart in the world! Don’t change for no one.”
It even features Ed Sheeran in the music video.

But his jungle appearance marks the first time he’s openly linked his career choices to his sister’s future.

He admitted that he didn’t tell Gracie he was joining the show because she’d “absolutely spill the secret,” laughing that she thinks he’s flying to LA instead. When she finally sees him appear on-screen, he expects a huge grin and a simple:

A Difficult Truth He Couldn’t Ignore

In one of his most emotional revelations yet, Aitch spoke about how deeply disturbed he was after learning about the UK’s abortion laws regarding Down Syndrome.

“It makes me sad,” he admitted.
“You can be a day away from giving birth and still have the option to terminate if you find out your child has Down Syndrome… but if your child doesn’t have it, you’ve only got a short window.”

While raising awareness is his main purpose, Aitch also admitted that the series is impossible to turn down.

“I grew up watching it,” he said. “My mum would’ve gone mad if I said no.”

Tonight’s edition of Strictly saw Karen, 38, and her pro dance partner, Carlos Gu, 32, perform a paso doble to O Fortuna.

After the star’s amazing performance, the judges couldn’t have been more complimentary. Well, almost….

“That was superb!” Tess Daly gushed as the couple joined her by the judges’ table.

“Darling, that’s how you score a goal, that’s for sure,” Craig Revel Horwood told the star. “Insane!”

However, as expected, there was some criticism from the judge. “I would have liked a little bit of…”

But Craig couldn’t continue, as literally everyone in the Blackpool tower, including his fellow judges and other celebs and their pros, booed loudly, drowning him out!

Craig eventually managed to squeeze out his criticism in between the booes, before going on to praise Karen and Carlos’ performance again, branding it “passionate”, before telling Karen that she is “absolutely incredible”.

“I do not have a paddle that, in any way, can express how good that dance was!” Motsi Mabuse gushed.

Carlos received some praise from Shirley Ballas too, who told him his choreography was “of the highest competitive quality”.

“I’ve never seen a paso doble like that,” she then added.

Anton was full of praise too. “When you come to Blackpool, bring your best. This was an absolute tour de force. I thought it was extraordinary.”

When it came to the scoring, Craig gave Karen and Carlos a nine; however, Motsi, Shirley, and Anton gave her 10’s!

Fans were thrilled at the duo’s high score; however, they were furious that Craig hadn’t given the star a 10.

Ireland is reeling in shock after a devastating crash in Co. Louth claimed the lives of five vibrant young adults, tearing apart families and communities just as they were heading out for a Saturday night of fun.

Tragic new details emerging from the scene paint a horrifying picture: Six people were crammed into a single Volkswagen Golf—a chilling indication of the catastrophic risks taken moments before the collision that stole their futures.

The five victims, all in their 20s, have been named as the nation mourns the loss of Chloe McGee, 23, Alan McCluskey, 23, Dylan Commins, 23, Shay Duffy, 21, and Chloe Hipson, 21, who hailed from Lanarkshire, Scotland.

 ‘Devastating’ Scene: The Final Moments

The horrific two-car smash occurred on the L3168 at Gibstown, just outside Dundalk, shortly after 9pm on Saturday night.

The deadly incident involved the severely overloaded Volkswagen Golf and a Toyota Landcruiser.

According to a Garda spokesman, the tragedy that unfolded in the dark, adverse weather conditions was instant and complete. Five of the six occupants in the Golf were tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

“They were a group of mates, thought to be en route to a social gathering when the tragedy struck,” a source close to the investigation revealed. “Six squeezed into a single car—no seat belts, dangerously overloaded… The reality of those final moments is even more heartbreaking.”

 The Faces of The Lost Generation

The lives cut short belonged to tight-knit communities across Co. Monaghan and Co. Meath:

Chloe McGee, 23, and Shay Duffy, 21, both from Carrickmacross.

Alan McCluskey, 23, from Drumconrath.

Dylan Commins, 23, from Ardee, Co Louth.

Chloe Hipson, 21, an international heartbreak, originally from Scotland.

One man in the Golf miraculously survived the wreck but was rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Also injured were the two occupants of the Toyota Landcruiser, who were taken to the same hospital.

 A Scene of Unimaginable Trauma

The investigation is now under way as forensic collision investigators meticulously scour the scene.

Superintendent Charlie Armstrong, from Dundalk Garda Station, spoke to the media, his voice heavy with emotion as he paid tribute to the deceased and praised the ‘exemplary’ work of emergency services.

“This tragedy, with the loss of five young adults, will have a deep impact on families and local communities in Carrickmacross, Dromconrath and in Scotland,” Superintendent Armstrong stated. “This is a shocking, devastating event for these families.”

He noted the extraordinary difficulty faced by first responders. “The scene was very difficult, in adverse weather conditions, and the professionalism shown by all first responders and the care and respect shown to the five deceased was exemplary.”

The road remains closed as a major incident response continues, with post-mortems scheduled for the coming days.

Gardaí are making an urgent appeal for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the L3168 between 8.30pm and 9.15pm on Saturday night to contact them.

“We will be speaking to La Voix in tomorrow night’s show. We love you so, so much,” Claudia said, speaking to La Voix.

Major change to tomorrow night’s show

In light of La Voix’s early exit from the show, Tess and Claudia then shared some big news about tomorrow night’s results show.

The duo announced that tomorrow, no one will be eliminated from the show!

“No one will be leaving Strictly this weekend!” Tess announced, drawing wild cheers from the audience and the celebs.

The stars then all came together for a group hug where they jumped around wildly, celebrating.

Fans were devastated that La Voix has been forced out of the show. They took to Twitter to let their thoughts be known.

“Absolutely gutted for La Voix having to medically withdraw, I know she wouldn’t have gone without a fight. I’m glad the public has gotten to fall in love with Chris/La Voix. This is just the start for them,” one fan said.

In a statement shared on her Instagram, La Voix spoke of her heartbreak about having to quit the show.

“I’m absolutely devastated to be withdrawing Strictly Come Dancing. This isn’t the glittering exit I ever imagined, and it breaks my heart to feel like I’m letting people down. My spirit wanted to to keep dancing but my foot has other ideas! Thank you for every cheer, every vote, and every sparke of support – it’s meant the world to me. This isn’t the ending I imagined, but I’ll cherish this forever.”

In the caption of the post, La Voix added: “Darlings, it breaks my heart to say this, but after all week of hoping, healing, and doing everything I possibly could, my injury simply hasn’t improved the way we prayed it would. With the guidance of the medical team and a heavy, heavy heart I have to officially withdraw from Strictly Come Dancing.

“This show has been one of the most extraordinary experiences of my life. To step onto that iconic dancefloor, to be welcomed so warmly by the judges, the pros, the crew, Tess & Claudia and of course the fabulous audience — it has meant the world to me. My only sadness is that I won’t be able to continue the journey the way I so wished I could.”

‘I feel like I’ve let Aljaz down’

“What upsets me most is feeling like I’ve let my wonderful partner, Aljaž Škorjanec, down. He has supported me, encouraged me, and believed in me from day one, and I so desperately wanted to keep dancing for him as much as for myself.

Anya dies in Bear’s arms as Celia and Ray scramble to cover their tracks in Emmerdale

Anya’s condition deteriorated rapidly in tonight’s episode, despite Bear’s desperate attempts to care for her. Ray failed to bring the essential antibiotics she needed, choosing instead to focus on hiding their modern slavery operation from Kim Tate.

As Kim arrived for an impromptu inspection, Ray hurried upstairs to keep their captives silent, while Celia lied that her turkey feed was toxic to horses – sending Kim away before she could get a proper look around.

But the commotion upstairs raised Kim’s suspicions, and Celia furiously turned on Ray afterwards. When he finally admitted Anya needed medication, she sent him out to get some. Tragically, by the time he returned, Anya had died in Bear’s arms.

Bear is forced to dig Anya’s grave

Next week, the horror only deepens. Outraged to discover Ray has dumped Anya’s body in the feed shed, Bear snaps and insists she deserves a proper burial.

Celia reluctantly agrees but turns the “funeral” into another cruelty. Under cover of darkness, she leads Ray and Bear to a field at Butler’s and orders Bear to dig the grave himself. After they bury Anya, Bear delivers a heartfelt tribute – leaving Ray visibly shaken, but Celia completely unmoved.

Later, Mick and Simo beg Bear to escape with them. They insist Ray has brainwashed him, and Bear begins to question everything. Staring at a photo of Anya’s daughter and thinking of Paddy, he wonders whether it’s finally time to break free.

Police storm the Depot as Ray realises there’s a mole

Meanwhile, trouble brews elsewhere for Celia and Ray when the police receive a tip-off about drugs being moved through the Depot – using Caleb and Jai’s vans without their knowledge.

Billy and Dylan look on in shock as officers arrive, and Jai is left utterly blindsided when questioned. Unable to give any answers, he directs police to Caleb.

When Ray hears what’s happened, he panics. He orders Dylan to halt all drug movements immediately. He also tells April and Dylan that the informant will face serious consequences when caught. But who has turned on him?

Meanwhile, still rattled after Kim’s visit, Celia puts on a performance for Moira at Butler’s, moaning about Kim’s interference and presenting her with another contract.

Emmerdale star Laura Norton has been supported by her co-stars after she shared a health update online.

Emmerdale actress Laura Norton, who has been a fan favourite since her debut as Kerry Wyatt in 2012, has received an outpouring of support from her co-stars following a health update she shared online.

Laura’s character, Kerry, has been at the centre of several major storylines, including her tumultuous relationship with daughter Amy and various surprising romances, ensuring her time in the iconic village has been anything but dull.

Off-screen, Laura is loved-up to fellow actor Mark Jordon, known for his role as Daz Spencer on Emmerdale between 2014 and 2019.

The couple, who met on the ITV set, got engaged in late 2018 and have since welcomed two children: son Jesse in January 2021, and daughter Ronnie.

However, Laura recently took to social media to share a personal health update with her followers, revealing that she has entered perimenopause, which has caused a “blip” in her current fitness journey, reports the Daily Star.

In an Instagram post, Laura wrote: “This is possibly an incredibly boring post for some. But a while ago I started a ’42 and Fit’ thread that a lot of followers invested in and showed an interest in and I keep getting messages asking how it’s going. I haven’t quit! I promise. And I want to show accountability with something that I started. As I feel some were getting comfort and a bit of motivation from.

“I’m tail end post partum. I went through postpartum hormone drop 2 years in a row. I’m older. I’m now perimenopausal and have 2 toddlers and a dog, l have a job and work for Cure Usher charity so I have found it tricky to work out where to factor in the time to exercise.”

Laura continued: “After 4 years without exercise I was managing HIlT 3 times a week in the morning. And was definitely feeling an improvement in my strengths and fitness….

“I have had a ‘blip’ over the last few weeks due to heavy work schedule. Getting up at 5am and back around 7.30 pm I genuinely did not have the spare time to do any sort of exercise. My current lifestyle doesn’t suit a 4am wake to fit it in.

“As a result I definitely feel more lethargic and sluggish. I have more time this week so l’m picking up where I left off with the exercise but I’m going to make some lifestyle changes as well. Earlier nights so I can wake earlier and have some time for myself to keep on top of it. I’m also going to change my diet. The times I eat and what I eat.”

She concluded her post by writing: “I’m going to keep documenting it on here as a little journey. It helps keep me motivated and I love hearing from others. We’re not alone.

Strictly Come Dancing star arrested on suspicion of rape

A Strictly Come Dancing star has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of rape.

A man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was taken into custody over an alleged incident said to have occurred after a BBC event in 2024.

The alleged victim was not a contestant or professional dancer, The Sun reported.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police, who confirmed the arrest, said: “A man was released on police bail under investigation having been arrested in London on Monday 13 October on suspicion of rape.

“The allegations relate to an incident which happened in Hertfordshire during 2024.

“Meanwhile, inquiries by officers from Hertfordshire Constabulary’s Public Protection team will continue.

“Given the nature of the allegations, it would be inappropriate to make any further comment at this time.”

A BBC spokesperson said: “It would not be appropriate to comment on an ongoing police investigation.”

The report arrives after another anonymous male who once worked on the BBC competition was arrested on suspicion of rape.

The unnamed male, who is in his thirties, was questioned by police “over allegations of non-consensual intimate image abuse”.

A Met spokesperson told The Independent: “On Friday, 22 August officers arrested a man in his thirties in East London on suspicion of rape and non-consensual intimate image abuse.

The series has been hit with repeated scandals and controversies in the past few years.

Professional dancer Giovanni Pernice was investigated for his behaviour towards one of the show’s celebrity contestants, Sherlock star Amanda Abbington, after she said she accused him of “inappropriate, mean, nasty bullying” in September 2023.

A BBC review found no evidence of physical aggression, but upheld accusations of swearing and giving negative feedback.

Christmas, the Kent native who rose to fame after winning BGT in 2024, shared the stage alongside these established stars, blending classic Christmas favorites with her signature musical theatre flair.

Since her victory on Britain’s Got Talent last year, Christmas has continued to impress audiences both in the UK and internationally. The 29-year-old received £250,000 and an invitation to perform at the Royal Variety Performance after a Golden Buzzer audition led by Amanda Holden. Her rendition of Over the Rainbow from The Wizard of Oz won over both the judges and the voting public, cementing her status as one of the UK’s rising musical stars.

Christmas has also balanced her career with education, recently returning to complete her Level 3 PT qualification, and she has been methodical with her BGT winnings, saving for her future home. Her musical journey has expanded across the Atlantic, with a sold-out debut show at Sony Hall in New York and the release of her debut album My Way in October, which included a cover of Vera Lynn’s wartime anthem We’ll Meet Again for VE Day’s 80th anniversary.
