HOT UPDATE: “Still Here, Still Smiling And I’m Not Going Anywhere.” BBC Breakfast icon Carol Kirkwood has finally broken her silence after enduring years of what viewers call “DREADFUL ABUSE,” and her response is pure fire. “Call me what you like, but I show up every day and I own that screen,” she snapped. In a bold takedown of her harshest critics, Carol hit back with unshakable grit, reacting in an unexpected way, revealing her current life, and this time everyone was left speechless.

The British television landscape woke up to a powerful moment of resilience in mid-2025 when **Carol Kirkwood**, the beloved weather presenter on *BBC Breakfast*, finally addressed years of relentless online trolling and viewer criticism head-on. In a candid interview that quickly went viral across media outlets, the 63-year-old icon delivered a message that blended defiance, humor, and unwavering self-assurance: “Still here, still smiling—and I’m not going anywhere.”

Kirkwood, who has graced BBC screens since the late 1990s, first joined as a weather forecaster in 1998 after training with the Met Office. Her warm, professional demeanor and trademark enthusiasm for even the gloomiest forecasts have made her a staple of morning television for millions. Viewers tune in daily for her updates on BBC One’s flagship breakfast show, where she delivers forecasts alongside hosts like Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt. Yet behind the sunny on-screen persona lies a reality many public figures face: a barrage of negativity from a vocal minority.

In the interview, published in outlets like *Radio Times* and quickly amplified by the *Daily Mail*, *Express*, and others in July 2025, Kirkwood opened up about the “dreadful abuse” she endures regularly. She described receiving harsh comments on X (formerly Twitter) and even direct emails containing “dreadful things.” The criticism often targets her appearance, age, or role—echoing broader issues of sexism in broadcasting, including debates around hashtags like #NotAWeatherGirl that challenge patronizing labels.

But Kirkwood refused to let it define her. “I am what I am, and I don’t really care what anybody thinks of me,” she declared. She snapped back at critics with grit: “Call me what you like, but I show up every day and I own that screen.” Dismissing the vitriol as “water off a duck’s back,” she quipped, “Or maybe that should be heavy rain off a duck’s back?”—a playful nod to her weather expertise that left readers chuckling and admirers cheering.

The response struck a chord because it wasn’t just defensive; it was empowering. Kirkwood highlighted how life experiences have built her resilience. She referenced losing three close friends to breast cancer, noting, “It makes you think, ‘Why am I worried about a few lines?’” She also critiqued society’s obsession with youth, adding, “It’s terribly sad there’s such a youth culture these days. People expect you to look young. Why? There’s beauty in every age.”

This wasn’t her first brush with discussing online negativity—she hinted at personal attacks as far back as 2014 in an interview with *The Herald*. But this time felt different: more assertive, more final. The statement “Still here, still smiling—and I’m not going anywhere” became a rallying cry, symbolizing her commitment to her craft amid adversity.

Kirkwood’s career trajectory adds depth to her words. Born Carol MacKellaig in Morar, Scotland, in 1962, she grew up as one of eight children in a hotelier family. After early roles in local TV and BBC radio, she built a solid path at the BBC. Beyond weather, she’s a bestselling author with four novels published and a fifth on the way, often weaving romance and intrigue inspired by her love of storytelling. Her personal life has seen challenges too—a divorce from ex-husband Jimmy Kirkwood in 2008—but brighter chapters followed. In 2022, she announced her engagement to partner Steve Randall live on air from the Chelsea Flower Show. They married in an intimate ceremony at Cliveden House in Buckinghamshire on December 27, 2023, describing it as “blissful” and unforgettable.

Fans have long appreciated her authenticity. Despite occasional absences or stand-ins (like Sarah Keith-Lucas or Matt Taylor), her returns spark joy. She’s participated in events like *Strictly Come Dancing* in 2015 (finishing 10th) and remains passionate about meteorology, often emphasizing the fascination of the UK’s ever-changing weather.

Her bold takedown resonated widely. Supporters flooded social media with praise, celebrating her as a role model for handling hate with class. Critics were left speechless by the poise—she didn’t lash out personally but reaffirmed her value through dedication. “I’m just doing my job to the best of my ability and hopefully improving myself on a daily basis, whether people think I’m capable or not,” she said in one reflection.

The episode underscores larger conversations about online abuse toward women in media. Kirkwood’s experience mirrors that of many broadcasters facing gendered scrutiny or ageism. Yet her approach—focusing on passion, perspective, and humor—offers a blueprint for resilience. As she put it, the trolling is now “nothing but heavy rain off a duck’s back.”

As of early 2026, Kirkwood continues her role on *BBC Breakfast*, delivering forecasts with the same enthusiasm. She’s thriving personally and professionally, with no signs of slowing down. Her message serves as inspiration: in the face of cruelty, show up, own your space, and keep smiling. Carol Kirkwood isn’t just weathering the storm—she’s owning it.

“My mother is the most wonderful person!” Princess Andre happily shouted as she threw her arms around her mother’s neck. Katie Price and her 18-year-old daughter, Princess Andre, splashed out thousands of pounds on a luxury shopping trip at Selfridges. Despite the many rifts that followed after Katie was banned from appearing on her daughter’s television show, she has still proven herself to be a model mother, being extremely generous with her daughter. However, when she pulled out her card to make the payment, an unexpected incident occurred, leaving both mother and daughter blushing…

Katie Price and her daughter Princess Andre splashed out thousands on a lavish Selfridges shopping spree this week – after her staggering earnings from OnlyFans were revealed.

The former glamour model, 47, and Princess – who she shares with ex Peter Andre – spent the day in London this week where they treated themselves on Oxford Street.

Katie – who recently split from partner JJ Slater – is thought to be raking in around £50,000 a month from her OnlyFans work after being faced with financial hell in 2024 after she received a £750,000 unpaid tax bill.

Keen to make the most of her new money she spent the day in the capital, with Princess documenting the quality time with her mum on TikTok.

The pair hopped in a taxi to Selfridges as Princess panned the camera to Katie and said: ‘She’s so in her element guys’ before the frame switched to them in a shopping mall.

First the pair splashed out on some jewellery before heading to some more shops and checking out different looks.

Princess stopped to admire a pale blue puffer jacket at one point as she said: ‘This is way too big but it’s so cute. They don’t have my size though.’

It then got to lunch time and Katie whipped out a ham and cheese sandwich in Cartier of all places as she quipped: ‘You’ve got to eat. And it’s got to be the heart of the sandwich [a bite from the middle]. That’s the best bit.’

They then headed to try on some shoes at YSL before going home with a huge amount of Selfridges bags covering the taxi floor.

Princess wrapped up the TikTok video saying: ‘Guys, this is ridiculous. Tough day.’

Last year pals of Katie revealed how she is now raking in £50,000 a month with OnlyFans, after being cleared of her staggering tax bill.

The star has now been discharged from both tax bills, saying at the time: ‘I’m so happy. I can finally move on and put these bankruptcies behind me and now only focus on the positive.’

And last March one of Katie’s pals told The Sun that she is back to earning £50,000 a month after shooting a campaign with Diesel, landing a major film role and signing a lucrative deal with OnlyFans.

‘She has 2.7 million followers on Instagram and can charge thousands for a post or story – she also has plans for an underwear range and perfume one.

‘Katie is a real workhorse and is determined to claw back her fortune and get onto that Rich List, rubbing shoulders with oligarchs, CEOs and footballers.’

Katie – who recently split from partner JJ Slater (seen together in March 2024) – was enjoying some quality time with her daughter

Earlier this week Katie’s fans begged her to get help after she was pictured looking ‘worryingly thin’ while reuniting with daughter Princess after their reality show feud.

She has sparked concern in recent months with her dramatic weight loss and has undergone some tests.

Three months ago she revealed she had been hospitalised over her ‘dramatic’ and ‘unexplained’ weight loss.

And her fans are now urging the mother-of-five to seek help, saying she is ‘worryingly thin’ and is ‘looking really poorly’.

Her followers have voiced their fears for her health, writing: ‘Katie.. you don’t know me, but I really want you to get some help. You’re looking really poorly.’

‘Someone really needs to intervene here with some mental help feel really sorry for her.’

‘Am I the only one who sees that she lost too much weight.’

    ‘She is worryingly thin.’

Her reunion with Princess comes after she was ‘banned’ from appearing in the first season of her ITV show, The Princess Diaries.

The series featured Princess’ dad Peter, step mum Emily MacDonagh and brother Junior, but Katie was missing from the line-up after previously revealing she had been prevented from taking part at the request of Princess’ management team.

Junior’s relationship with his sister Princess was a key part of her reality series, which also highlighted her closeness with Pete and Emily.

However, viewers will no longer see the Mysterious Girl singer on The Princess Diaries. In November, the Daily Mail revealed that Pete and Emily will not appear in series two and three, currently being filmed, following the fallout the show caused with Katie.

After Katie publicly criticised her ex-husband and his long-time manager for excluding her from the project and any of Princess’s work, Pete posted a statement on Instagram confirming that the children he shares with Katie have been in his sole custody since 2018.

A source has now explained that Katie’s involvement in the second series would not be full-time but she would still be visible to viewers.

The Daily Mail contacted ITV, Princess Andre, Peter Andre and Katie Price’s representatives for comment at the time.

Elsewhere, Katie recently called herself a ‘stick woman’ and said doctors were concerned about her low blood pressure in a recent health update on her podcast The Katie Price Show.

Katie added she was feeling the pressure from her mother Amy to go to the doctors as she told her sister Sophie: ‘All I’ve had, since everywhere has been closed, is, “Have you phoned the doctors yet? Have you phoned?”

‘I’m like, “Yes, mum. I went to the doctors today”. I screenshotted the appointment.’

Sophie asked: ‘Did you actually though? Because mum has been speaking to me about this.’

Katie replied: ‘Yes. I’m going in there to talk about blood tests, MRI, everything she wants me to have to get to the bottom of why the price is – forget stick man – stick woman.’

Last year pals of Katie revealed how she is now raking in £50,000 a month with OnlyFans, after being cleared of her staggering tax bill

The mother-of-five added she had to have her blood pressure done three times because doctors thought it was so low that there must have been an error.

In October, Katie confessed she had been hospitalised for her weight loss – which she initially conceded was her aim – however later insisted was baffling doctors and left needing tests to assess the situation.

Katie told fans on her Snapchat Story she ‘doesn’t know why’ her frame is shrinking so much as she undergoes tests.

She began: ‘I’ve been up early at the doctors so she could do some bloods and because my veins are so s*** they had three attempts.

‘They could only fill two tubes up, so I’ve got to go back in two weeks. And I’ve got to have my stitches out then because they looked at my little stab wound that I did…’

Katie added: ‘The reason I’m going to the doctors is because I keep losing weight and I don’t know why. So that’s that.’

It’s great to have them back!

The Good Ship Murd3r drops anchor in Cape Verde this month and it’s bringing along two very familiar faces – Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph are on board as guest stars!

The Birds of a Feather favourites appear together in an upcoming episode of the Channel 5 cosy crime drama. It marks their first acting collaboration since 2020. That year saw the much-loved sitcom return for a special episode, bringing the gang back together one last time.

Neither actress pops up in TV dramas all that often these days so this is a rare treat for their fans. Linda is best known to many as a regular Loose Women panellist. Meanwhile, Lesley has joined as a guest panellist!

So what can viewers expect? Here’s a first look at Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph’s characters in The Good Ship Murd3r – and everything we know so far about the episode.

The Good Ship Murd3r welcomes Lesley Joseph and Linda Robson to the guest cast

Lesley Joseph and Linda Robson join the guest cast of The Good Ship Murd3r series 3 in episode 5. Their appearance follows recent guest turns from Emmerdale’s Lesley Dunlop and River City’s Sally Howitt.

The veteran actresses play “two merry widows Tilly and Elsa”, who embark on a grief cruise to celebrate the lives of their late partners. When the ship docks in Cape Verde, they join a small group heading ashore to visit a local shrine and pay their respects.

But the trip takes a dark turn when Tilly (Lesley Joseph) is found Murd3red. As Jack begins to piece together what happened, a number of suspects emerge. These include creepy fellow grief cruiser Noel, who appears to have been stalking Tilly. There’s also shifty restaurant critic Angel, who is hiding something, and Emiliano, a market trader with questionable contacts and a police record.

Kriss Dosanjh also guest stars as Noel. Viewers may recognise him from roles including Ashok Masum in Casualty. He’s also known for playing The Brigadier in The Larkins, and Hassan Habeeb on Coronation Street.

What are Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph famous for?

For many viewers, Lesley Joseph and Linda Robson will forever be Dorien Green and Tracey Stubbs from Birds of a Feather. They played the roles from 1989 right through to 2020, alongside co-star and close friend Pauline Quirke, who portrayed Sharon Theodopolopodous.

In 2021, Pauline was diagnosed with dementia. Linda and Pauline are childhood best friends in real life. Earlier this year, Linda revealed that her friend no longer recognised her or her children.

Speaking on Loose Women, she said: “It’s very sad. We’ve been best friends since we were 10. I’ve known [about the diagnosis] for three years and we’ve managed to keep it quiet. She doesn’t know who anybody is. She doesn’t know who I am or who are kids are.”

Was Birds of a Feather axed?

Birds of a Feather was a huge hit in its original BBC One run from 1989 to 1998. ITV revived the sitcom in 2014, where it continued for six more years, with the final episode airing on Christmas Eve 2020.

Pauline’s character Sharon Theodopolopodous was notably absent from that final Christmas special, which aired a year before her diagnosis.

The series centred on chalk-and-cheese sisters Sharon and Tracey, whose husbands were jailed for armed robbery. Sharon moved from her Edmonton council flat into Tracey’s comfortable Chigwell home in Essex, where they soon had to deal with their nosy – and eventually beloved – neighbour Dorien.

Of course, Dorien became notorious as the middle-aged married Jewish woman with a weakness for younger men.

A quiet new-year miracle for Peter Andre… and fans can’t stop sending love. Without any big fanfare, Peter Andre has begun the year with the happiest family news, opening his heart about life with wife Emily and their baby girl — the daughter he says has “completed us.” From sharing her sweet nickname to revealing how their blended family is growing closer than ever, his words are melting hearts everywhere. Read Peter’s emotional family update below

In the quiet glow of the new year, British entertainer **Peter Andre** has shared some of the most heartfelt family moments yet, marking 2026 with a profound sense of joy and completion. Without grand announcements or flashy events, the 52-year-old singer and TV personality opened up about life with his wife, NHS doctor **Emily MacDonagh**, and their youngest child—the baby girl who has truly “completed” their blended family.

Peter and Emily welcomed their third child together, a daughter named **Arabella Rose Andréa** (affectionately known as **Belle** or **Little Belle**), back in April 2024. Now approaching her second birthday in the spring of 2026, Arabella has become the heart of their home, bringing a fresh wave of love and unity to a family that already includes Peter’s children from his previous marriage to Katie Price—**Junior Andre** (now 20) and **Princess Andre** (18)—as well as the couple’s older children, **Amelia** (Millie, 11-12) and **Theo** (9).

In recent social media posts and interviews around the New Year period (January 2026), Peter described Arabella as the missing piece that has deepened their bonds. “She has completed us,” he shared in one emotional reflection, emphasizing how her arrival has strengthened the entire family dynamic. The couple, married since 2015, have long been open about the joys and challenges of blending two worlds—Peter’s high-profile past and Emily’s grounded medical career—into a loving, cohesive unit.

Fans have been particularly touched by Peter’s tender updates on Arabella’s sweet nickname, “Little Belle.” Emily first revealed it in a charming 2024 video of the baby watching her siblings play, and it has stuck ever since. Peter has called it “perfect,” often posting glimpses of family life where Belle’s presence lights up every scene. In one recent share, he highlighted how all five children dote on her—Junior and Princess showering her with big-sibling affection, while Millie and Theo include her in their daily adventures. “The siblings are all in love with their little sister,” Peter has repeatedly noted, underscoring the seamless integration that has made their household feel whole.

This New Year miracle feels especially poignant against the backdrop of Peter’s family reflections. As 2026 began, Emily posted rare, loved-up photos from their 2025 adventures—including a romantic Eiffel Tower kiss—while setting personal goals for the year ahead. Peter, in turn, has spoken about cherishing these quieter moments amid his busy schedule of music, TV appearances, and family duties. He has confirmed that Arabella is their “last” child, a decision made thoughtfully at his age. “I’ve never had a limit before… but at 51, the lack of sleep feels a little different,” he told *Bella* magazine in early 2025, adding that the experience with Belle has been “amazing” but signals the end of expanding their brood.

The blended family aspect remains a source of pride. Peter often corrects assumptions about having “five” children, playfully noting it’s “technically six” when including the supportive role he played in Katie Price’s eldest son Harvey’s life during their relationship. Yet with Emily, the focus is on harmony: shared parenting rules (like strict screen time limits for the younger ones), family holidays, and everyday joys like farm visits or simple home videos.

Fans have flooded Peter’s and Emily’s Instagram posts with love, calling the updates “heart-melting” and “the purest joy.” Comments like “Your family is beautiful—Belle completes the picture!” and “Wishing you all the happiest new year” pour in, reflecting widespread admiration for how Peter and Emily have navigated fame, co-parenting, and building a nurturing environment. One supporter wrote, “Seeing how loved Little Belle is by everyone melts my heart. True family goals.”

Peter’s words carry extra warmth this January. Amid occasional family challenges—such as ongoing public dynamics with ex Katie Price or concerns for his mother’s health (Thea, who battles Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s)—these glimpses of domestic bliss serve as a reminder of gratitude. He has described Emily as an “incredible mum” and the birth of Arabella as a “beautiful gift,” sentiments that resonate deeply as the family enters 2026 stronger than ever.

From the initial overwhelm of her arrival (“We feel so overwhelmed right now… Mum and daughter are doing amazing,” Peter posted in April 2024) to now watching her grow into a confident, adored toddler, Arabella’s journey has mirrored the family’s growth. Peter credits her for bringing everyone closer—bridging generations, fostering sibling bonds, and reminding them of life’s simple miracles.

As Peter continues his career—teasing potential music projects and TV work—it’s these private, unassuming moments that fans cherish most. No big fanfare was needed; just honest reflections from a man who says his heart has never felt fuller. In a world of constant noise, Peter Andre’s quiet celebration of family love stands out as the perfect way to start the year.

With Arabella “completing” them, the Andres embody resilience, love, and the beauty of blended beginnings. Fans can’t stop sending love—and it’s easy to see why.

Emmerdale’s Katie Hill cosies up with Dales co-star in ‘peas in a pod’ snap

Emmerdale star Katie Hill was seen cosied up to Bradley Riches as the duo spent time with their fellow Emmerdale co-stars over the festive season.

Actress Katie Hill joined the ITV soap in 2017 as the next star to be cast as Sarah Sugden in order for the character to tackle some more mature storylines.

One of these storylines was being diagnosed with Fanconi Anaemia which has shortened her lifespan and puts her at an increased risk of being diagnosed with cancer.

Sarah decided that she wanted to become a young mum, but due to her condition, it was unlikely that she’d be able to fall pregnant, even with IVF. Instead, Charity Dingle offered to become her surrogate.

Since then, Sarah and Jacob became engaged, then married, as they celebrated the news of Charity’s pregnancy. Unfortunately, viewers know the truth isn’t so simple as Charity had a one-night stand with Ross Barton, which led to her falling pregnant.

Sarah is currently unaware, as well as Mackenzie Boyd who has no idea that Charity had a brief affair with her ex during a drunken night in the Dales.

Outside of the ITV soap, Katie often shares some behind the scenes snaps of her hanging out with her Emmerdale co-stars. Rosie Bentham who plays Gabby Thomas took to Instagram and recapped her December.

In one of the pictures, Katie was seen fast asleep next to Bradley Riches who plays Lewis Barton in the soap. Reacting to the post, she shared it to her story and wrote: “Like two sleeping peas in a pod”.

Bradley joined the soap earlier this year and plays the first neurodivergent character in the Dales. While part of the Barton family, viewers got to learn more about his family tree after it was revealed that Robert Sugden’s prison husband, Kev Townsend, is his biological dad.

Although Kev’s return to the soap appeared to be for revenge and to win Robert back, viewers are still holding out hope that father and soon will grow closer.

Reflecting on Sarah’s rollercoaster of a year as Emmerdale heads into 2026, the actress told the Mirror: “I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next.

“It’s been such a great storyline to play so far and it’s definitely a unique storyline that I think I can say has never been done before! All of us involved talk about how much we can’t wait to see where this all goes.

“I hope she gets a happy ending after everything she’s been through. As for it to all fall apart would be so sad for her, however it’s a very complicated situation and we don’t know how Sarah would feel about the baby if she finds out the truth.”

‘THIS COULD BE THE END’ RESIGNATION FEARS SWEEP WESTMINSTER AFTER BOMBSHELL REVELATION CHAOS AT THE TOP DD

‘THIS COULD BE THE END’ RESIGNATION FEARS SWEEP WESTMINSTER AFTER BOMBSHELL REVELATION CHAOS AT THE TOP: What began as quiet unease has exploded into full-scale crisis. Sources claim senior figures are scrambling as pressure mounts to unbearable levels. The Prime Minister’s authority is said to be “evaporating by the hour,” and one leaked exchange hints a decision has already been taken just not announced yet

Resignation rumors are swirling around Prime Minister Keir Starmer, with insiders suggesting he may not last until 2026. Bookmakers are placing odds on his departure, and polls reveal a staggering 79% of the public disapproves of his performance. The political landscape is shifting, and the pressure is mounting.

Starmer’s candid acknowledgment of the rampant speculation regarding his leadership marks a significant turning point. This admission reveals that the Prime Minister is acutely aware of the growing discontent among both the public and his own party, which has reached unprecedented levels.

Recent polling data paints a grim picture for Starmer. A staggering 66% net approval rating deficit places him as the most unpopular Prime Minister in history. With only 18% of Britons viewing him favorably, the urgency for a change in leadership is palpable and growing.

The pivotal date of May 7, 2026, looms large on the political horizon. Local elections across the UK, including the crucial Welsh Senate, could serve as the tipping point for Starmer’s leadership. Should Labor underperform, the pressure for a leadership challenge will become irresistible.

Reports indicate that discussions among Labour MPs about replacing Starmer have already begun. The Guardian revealed that plans are actively being prepared, signaling that the party is readying itself for a potential shift in leadership. This is not mere speculation; it’s a calculated response to a dire situation.

Andy Burnham’s recent denials about plotting against Starmer have only fueled the fire. His refusal to dismiss the rumors suggests that the ambition for leadership is palpable among Labour’s ranks. Meanwhile, Shabana Mahmood’s reluctance to quash similar suggestions hints at a brewing power struggle.

As Starmer’s approval ratings continue to plummet, the internal dynamics within the Labour Party are shifting. MPs are reportedly viewing the upcoming local elections as a potential catalyst for a leadership challenge, with many believing that losing Wales would be catastrophic for Starmer’s leadership.

The January reset planned by Downing Street aims to refocus priorities, but doubts linger over its effectiveness. If the reset fails to yield positive results, the party may face an existential crisis as the May elections approach.

With the vultures circling, potential successors are already being discussed. West Streeting emerges as a front-runner, despite his denials of ambition. The political landscape is rapidly evolving, and the question of Starmer’s survival is becoming increasingly urgent.

Karaoke Invites & Jungle Sparks — The Sweet Off-Screen Story Fans Can’t Stop Talking About

Just when viewers thought the magic of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! ended at the jungle gates, Aitch and Shona McGarty have given fans a fresh reason to believe their story is far from over.

Only days after the rapper, 25, finished fourth on the ITV reality hit, he was spotted back home in Manchester getting into the festive spirit. Dressed down in a grey tracksuit and Nike trainers, Aitch — real name Harrison James Armstrong — popped into a local shop to stock up on three bottles of Southern Comfort whiskey before loading them into the boot of his £70,000 Porsche. He also picked up a festive wreath, hinting that celebrations were already underway.

The casual shopping trip may have looked harmless, but it came just as Shona, 34, finally addressed the rumours that have followed them since their emotional jungle journey together.

Speaking on the Hits Radio Breakfast Show, the EastEnders actress laughed about waking up to headlines claiming she was suddenly “in a relationship” with Aitch.

“He’s great — still my little brother,” she joked at first.

But then she added the line that sent fans into meltdown.

“I invited him over for karaoke after we left the jungle and everything just happened naturally,” Shona admitted — instantly reigniting speculation that their connection may be continuing quietly away from the cameras.

She went on to explain how effortlessly they clicked.

“He’s so fun to be around. He’s just hyper — and he matched my level of hyper. He hasn’t been round for karaoke yet, but it’s on the cards.”

From Jungle Tears To Real-World Moments

Viewers first became convinced there was something special between the pair when Aitch was eliminated earlier this month. Shona, who eventually placed third, was visibly emotional as she said goodbye, later telling the Bush Telegraph:

“I had to say goodbye to Aitch today… just one more day until I see him again.”

She also revealed during her exit interview with Ant and Dec that beneath the rapper’s confident exterior, she sensed vulnerability.

“When he came in, this rapper was all bravado — but underneath I could tell he was scared of the whole experience,” she said.
“He’s very normal, down to earth. I felt like an older sister to him. I just wanted to protect him.”

     Fans Haven’t Missed A Thing

Those tender moments didn’t go unnoticed, with social media quickly lighting up:

“Shona was devastated when he left!”

“The way they hugged — so sweet!”

“Aitch and Shona together would actually be adorable.”

Now, with Aitch back in Manchester and Shona revealing karaoke plans behind the scenes, fans are convinced the jungle bond may be quietly turning into something more.

From whispered invitations to cosy catch-ups away from the cameras, it seems their story didn’t end when the jungle gates closed.
