“‘British People Come First — No Exceptions’: Zia Yusuf Ignites P0litical Firestorm as Reform UK Confronts Britain’s New Reality”

In a United Kingdom still unsettled after a turbulent electoral cycle, Reform UK has positioned itself as the uncompromising voice of discontent, and few figures embody that message more forcefully than Zia Yusuf. As the political landscape fractures between a Labour government under mounting pressure and a Conservative Party struggling to redefine itself, Reform has seized the opening, pressing a narrative that the established parties have abandoned the nation’s core interests. At the center of this push is Yusuf’s unwavering commitment to the principle that “British people come first,” a slogan that has rapidly become both a rallying cry and a provocation within modern British politics.

Zia Yusuf announces return to Reform UK 48 hours after quitting

The current political climate has amplified the resonance of Yusuf’s message. Labour faces criticism for failing to curb migration numbers and for what opponents describe as a soft, bureaucratic approach to national priorities. The Conservatives, still reeling from their electoral collapse, appear directionless in the eyes of voters who once relied on them for a firm stance on sovereignty and borders. Amid this vacuum, Reform has risen from a protest movement to a disruptive electoral force, drawing support from communities frustrated by stagnant wages, strained public services, and the perception that political elites place international obligations above domestic welfare.

Reform UK's Zia Yusuf Accused of Politicising Council Staff With Propaganda Picture – Byline Times

Zia Yusuf has tapped into these anxieties with striking clarity. His pledge that every decision Reform advocates must begin with the interests of British citizens is intentionally direct and confrontational. Yusuf frames this commitment not as rhetoric but as a corrective to what he describes as years of neglect—an era in which governments, both Conservative and Labour, diverted resources to global responsibilities while ordinary British taxpayers absorbed the cost. His interventions on immigration, government spending, and welfare have become defining features of Reform’s platform, and his insistence that the nation must re-prioritize its own people has elevated him into one of the party’s most influential and controversial voices.

Yusuf’s stance comes at a moment when immigration dominates the national conversation. While Labour promises a more “managed” system and the Conservatives continue to argue over the legacy of their abandoned Rwanda plan, Yusuf cuts through the debate with an unyielding demand for strict enforcement, reduced inflows, and the removal of those residing illegally in the country. His argument is blunt: Britain cannot restore fairness, stability, or economic balance unless the state demonstrates control over its borders and directs public resources toward its own citizens first. Supporters see this as overdue honesty; critics call it inflammatory. But in a political system fatigued by ambiguity, Yusuf’s clarity has made him impossible to ignore.

Reform U.K.'s Chairman, Zia Yusuf, Quits Amid Infighting - The New York Times

Beyond migration, his critique of government inefficiency has sharpened the national debate over public spending. Yusuf portrays the British taxpayer as the silent casualty of bureaucratic excess, insisting that reform must begin with a ruthless audit of waste and mismanagement. In this narrative, “British people come first” becomes not only an immigration principle but an economic one: a demand that the state account for every pound it takes and justify its priorities to those who fund it. His language is often severe, but it resonates with voters who believe the system has drifted too far from accountability.

Politically, Yusuf’s commitment functions as both a strategy and a signal. It distinguishes Reform from the major parties, establishes a moral clarity that appeals to voters alienated by decades of compromise politics, and reinforces the party’s identity as an insurgent movement willing to say what others will not. At the same time, it forces the national conversation to confront uncomfortable questions about loyalty, duty, and the future of British governance. In a country still searching for direction, Yusuf’s voice stands out precisely because it refuses to dilute its message.

As the UK grapples with economic pressures, rising migration, and a crisis of public trust, Zia Yusuf’s promise that “British people come first” has become one of the most potent—and divisive—statements in British politics. Whether it ultimately reshapes the national agenda or deepens the political rifts already visible across the country, his commitment has undeniably altered the tone of the debate. At a moment when many voters feel unheard, Yusuf has made one thing clear: Reform UK intends to place the British people at the center of every fight it chooses, regardless of the controversy that follows.

Soldiers from the SAS have threatened legal action over Labour’s Troubles Bill.

A letter by the Special Air Service Regimental Association, representing serving and former special forces troops, was sent to Northern Ireland Secretary Hilary Benn to warn the legislation does not provide adequate safeguards for veterans.

Labour withdrew plans to introduce the Legacy Act by the previous Conservative Government, which would grant immunity to Northern Ireland veterans.

New plans include a commission set up to investigate Troubles-related killings.

Critics have warned that it would expose veterans to “vexatious” legal claims and potentially see elderly former soldiers brought through the courts.

A former paratrooper in his 70s and known as Soldier F was cleared last month of murdering civilians on Bloody Sunday after a judge found the evidence against him fell “well short”.

The letter by the association, which was drafted by London legal firm Sidley Austin, said its “clients” were gearing up to “challenge” the Government over the bill, the Telegraph reported.

It further warned its clients’ “current position is that if the bill is enacted in anything like its current state, it will be subject to challenge”.

Northern Ireland Secretary Hilary Benn has been sent the lette

Under its new plan, the Government has insisted that veterans have six key protections, including anonymity and ensuring no veteran is forced to travel to Northern Ireland to give evidence.

New rules have also been added which allows inquests to occur into the deaths of hundreds of British soldiers killed during the conflict.

Critics say the shift could pave the way for former IRA members to “rewrite history” by changing historic versions of events to align with their “narrative”.

The association said the bill was “manifestly deficient in the protections it offers to former service personnel, police officers, and members of the security services”.

Veterans who served in the British Army during the Northern Ireland troubles took part in a protes

“Repeated reassurances have been given by the Government that veterans be supplied with specific protections in law to mitigate the effect of the repeal of the conditional immunities provided by the Legacy Act… [but] in fact, the bill contains almost no protection beyond those which already exist in law,” the letter stated.

Shadow Armed Forces Minister Mark Francois said: “Call me old-fashioned but the SAS traditionally protect the Government, rather than trying to sue them”.

“After the recent letter from the ‘nine senior generals’ – calling Labour’s legacy plans ‘a direct threat to national security’ this further action, by the SAS Regimental Association, shows just how angry veterans and particularly former special forces soldiers are, about Hilary Benn’s extremely dangerous proposals,” he sad.

“Perhaps this will be a case of Who Sues Wins?”

Nine of Britain’s top retired military chiefs launched an attack against the Prime Minister last week.

They said special forces troops were quitting out of fear they could be taken into court decades down the line for missions they carried out on behalf of the Government.

Tory MP Sir David Davis, a former SAS reservist, commented on the claims during Prime Minister’s Questions on Wednesday, saying: “The most acute damage is being felt by the Special Air Service; it is already affecting their recruitment, retention, morale, and operational effectiveness”.

He added that as a result, lawyers acting for the association “have sent a letter before action” to the Northern Ireland secretary.

Labour’s bill passed to the next stage.

A vote on Tuesday saw 320 MPs in favour and 105 against.

Mr Benn told MPs: “I don’t agree with that assessment” after being asked about the claims the bill was a national security threat.

He said there was “nothing in this bill that can be described as a direct threat to national security”.

The Truth Behind Their Final, Doomed Journey Is More Heartbreaking Than Anyone Imagined as Victims Pictured: ‘They Were Just Heading To A Party’

Ireland is reeling in shock after a devastating crash in Co. Louth claimed the lives of five vibrant young adults, tearing apart families and communities just as they were heading out for a Saturday night of fun.

Tragic new details emerging from the scene paint a horrifying picture: Six people were crammed into a single Volkswagen Golf—a chilling indication of the catastrophic risks taken moments before the collision that stole their futures.

The five victims, all in their 20s, have been named as the nation mourns the loss of Chloe McGee, 23, Alan McCluskey, 23, Dylan Commins, 23, Shay Duffy, 21, and Chloe Hipson, 21, who hailed from Lanarkshire, Scotland.

     ‘Devastating’ Scene: The Final Moments

The horrific two-car smash occurred on the L3168 at Gibstown, just outside Dundalk, shortly after 9pm on Saturday night.

The deadly incident involved the severely overloaded Volkswagen Golf and a Toyota Landcruiser.

According to a Garda spokesman, the tragedy that unfolded in the dark, adverse weather conditions was instant and complete. Five of the six occupants in the Golf were tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

“They were a group of mates, thought to be en route to a social gathering when the tragedy struck,” a source close to the investigation revealed. “Six squeezed into a single car—no seat belts, dangerously overloaded… The reality of those final moments is even more heartbreaking.”

The Faces of The Lost Generation

The lives cut short belonged to tight-knit communities across Co. Monaghan and Co. Meath:

Chloe McGee, 23, and Shay Duffy, 21, both from Carrickmacross.

    Alan McCluskey, 23, from Drumconrath.

Dylan Commins, 23, from Ardee, Co Louth.

Chloe Hipson, 21, an international heartbreak, originally from Scotland.

One man in the Golf miraculously survived the wreck but was rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Also injured were the two occupants of the Toyota Landcruiser, who were taken to the same hospital.

     A Scene of Unimaginable Trauma

The investigation is now under way as forensic collision investigators meticulously scour the scene.

Superintendent Charlie Armstrong, from Dundalk Garda Station, spoke to the media, his voice heavy with emotion as he paid tribute to the deceased and praised the ‘exemplary’ work of emergency services.

“This tragedy, with the loss of five young adults, will have a deep impact on families and local communities in Carrickmacross, Dromconrath and in Scotland,” Superintendent Armstrong stated. “This is a shocking, devastating event for these families.”

He noted the extraordinary difficulty faced by first responders. “The scene was very difficult, in adverse weather conditions, and the professionalism shown by all first responders and the care and respect shown to the five deceased was exemplary.”

The road remains closed as a major incident response continues, with post-mortems scheduled for the coming days.

Gardaí are making an urgent appeal for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the L3168 between 8.30pm and 9.15pm on Saturday night to contact them.

The nation grieves with the heartbroken families of the five young lives lost in this appalling and preventable disaster.

At 55, Julia Bradbury has revealed the devastating news that doctors found a cyst in her brain — a cruel blow after her courageous battle with breast cancer

MY BODY IS FAILING — BUT I REFUSE TO GIVE UP.” 💔 At 55, Julia Bradbury has revealed the devastating news that doctors found a cyst in her brain — a cruel blow after her courageous battle with breast cancer. Fighting tears, she admitted: “I don’t know how much time I have… but every moment with my family is precious.”Friends say she’s shaken but unbreakable — eyes filled with fear and fierce determination.
“I will not let this defeat me,” she vowed. “Even when my body betrays me, I will keep moving forward.”

Britain is watching with heartbreak and admiration as Julia faces the unthinkable with extraordinary courage.

Countryfile presenter Julia Bradbury has delivered a startling new health revelation, sharing that doctors uncovered “a cyst in her brain” during a recent series of medical examinations. The 55-year-old broadcaster disclosed the news during her appearance on Wednesday’s edition of The One Show, speaking openly about the latest chapter in her long health journey following her 2021 breast cancer diagnosis.

Bradbury, who previously underwent a mastectomy to remove a 6cm tumour, said her cancer battle was the moment everything shifted.
“It completely changed how I looked at my health,” she explained. “I wanted to understand how to get through the diagnosis and treatment — and then figure out how to recover, rebuild, and create a longer, happier life afterwards.”

“You’re never the same after hearing those words”

The Countryfile host reflected on the emotional shock of her original diagnosis, admitting nothing prepares you for the moment a doctor tells you, “You’ve got cancer.”
“You don’t walk away from that the same person,” she shared.

Instead of collapsing under fear, Julia said the experience sparked a deep interest in wellness. She began seeking advice from experts on sleep, nutrition, nature therapy and lifestyle habits — even exploring how factors like sugar, alcohol and years of poor sleep may have affected her body.

A full body scan brings unexpected findings

Her new health update came after she underwent an extensive health check — including blood analysis, stool samples and a full-body MRI scan.
During the scan, doctors found a small cyst in her brain.
“It’s nothing to be worried about, but it’s there,” she said calmly. Doctors also identified a potential issue on one of her ovaries, but follow-up tests confirmed it was harmless.

Julia says learning these hidden details about her body makes her feel more in control, not frightened.
“I know some people prefer not to know, but I’m naturally curious. I feel empowered by understanding what’s happening inside me.”

    From heartbreak to advocacy

The  TV presenter has continued to speak openly about life after her mastectomy. In a recent social-media video, she admitted the surgery was devastating, yet she knew it was the only way to save her life. She urged women to take early screenings seriously, calling preventive care “absolutely vital.”

Following her diagnosis, Julia became a vocal advocate for PRS (polygenic risk score) and SNP testing on the NHS as tools for understanding individual cancer risk. She described how her own PRS test revealed she carried a slightly higher genetic likelihood of recurrence.
“That knowledge helped my medical team and me make better decisions about treatment, monitoring and lifestyle changes,” she explained. “It gave me a plan — and peace of mind.”

“We need preventive care, not just reactive care”

Julia believes wider access to these tests could save countless lives.
“If I had known I was at higher risk, I would have looked at my lump differently when I first found it,” she said. “We have to move towards prevention, not just reaction.”

She ended her interview with a heartfelt plea:

‘Heartbroken and helpless’ Pete Wicks breaks down in tears as dog ‘with so much soul and personality’ is given devastating diagnosis

Pete Wicks is left in tears in the latest instalment of his UKTV series For Dogs’ Sake as he meets a terminally ill canine that has been left homeless.

The former The Only Way Is Essex star is seen crying outside of the Dogs Trust where the series is filmed after meeting Italian Mastiff Theo.

Pete, 36, is followed by cameras in the series as he meets dogs that are in desperate need of a home, and learns more about their stories and the process of finding them a place to live.

In the upcoming episode of the series, the TV presenter breaks down as it’s revealed that Theo, has been diagnosed with serious heart condition DCM (dilated cardiomyopathy).

The dog went on to develop a second condition, arrhythmia, after suffering from malnutrition in his previous home, and was severely underweight when he was brought in to the Dogs Trust.

It means that despite being a young and happy dog, Theo has just 12 months to live.

It’s revealed that Italian Mastiff Theo has been diagnosed with serious heart condition DCM (dilated cardiomyopathy)

Cuddling and playing with Theo as he receives a diagnosis from the vet, Pete is filmed breaking down in tears before taking time to reflect on his time with the hound.

He tells the cameras: ‘I’m just heartbroken, such a beautiful dog, he’s got so much soul and so much personality, he should be in a home.’

The vet adds: ‘It’s going to take a special someone to come forward and take on the burden knowing it’s not going to be for a particularly long period of time.’

To which Pete continues: ‘I just wish there was something I could do, you know when you just feel helpless – I’ve completely and utterly fallen in love with that dog.

‘It’s broken my heart, it’s just sad.’

Speaking of the episode, Pete adds: ‘I absolutely love big, goofy dogs and I immediately fell in love with Theo.

‘He had a very sad backstory, it absolutely broke my heart – rehoming bigger dogs like Theo is difficult, there’s a cost of living crisis and people can’t necessarily afford to keep a dog like that.

‘He potentially might not live out the life everyone expects and has some medical restrictions, which comes with a cost.

Cuddling and playing with Theo as he receives a diagnosis from the vet, Pete is filmed breaking down in tears in the upcoming episode

The vet explains to Pete that Theo might not have ‘a long time’ due to his diagnosis

‘If ever there was a dog who deserved to be in a home for whatever time he’s got left, it’s Theo. No dog should be in kennels.

‘We didn’t know if we could find Theo a home, so we went to town on that!’

The episode, which airs on U tonight (Monday 13) will reveal whether Pete and the team were able to find a home for Theo.

It comes after Pete struggled to hold back his emotions as a rescue dog was diagnosed with cancer in emotional scenes earlier this year.

He broke down as the diagnosis brought back ‘painful memories’ of his family facing testicular cancer, and from when he ‘ignored a lump for three months’ due to being ‘petrified of the diagnosis’.

A vet broke the sad news to the podcast star that a beloved pug named Murphy has had tests and been diagnosed with cancer.

Taking a moment outside, Pete held back his tears and said: ‘Of all things, cancer is a bit close to home for me wherever it be humans or dogs its a horrendous thing.

‘That has upset me quite a lot if I’m being honest.

‘His diagnosis has brought up some painful memories of testicular cancer in my family and also the scare I had when I ignored a lump for three months because I was so petrified of the diagnosis.’

Pete also previously revealed how the series had been long in the making, after it took him ‘six years’ to get it commissioned before it was picked up by UKTV.

He told The One Show: ‘Dogs have always been a massive part of my life and I prefer dogs to people because they make me feel safe and happy. Dogs don’t want anything from you other than love and trust which is a beautiful thing.

‘I’ve been trying to get this show off the ground for six years now, so to finally be able to do that was just incredible.

‘The most important part about re-homing a dog, it’s like match making its making sure they get a forever home. There is a lot that goes behind it, the medical stuff, some of the dogs have been badly neglected and vulnerable and the behaviour side of things there is an awful lot of work that goes into it.’

Discussing the highs and lows of filming, Pete added: ‘You obviously have to see a lot of neglect cases and dogs being abused, it is that rescue world and giving animals that second chance of life.

‘The important thing for me with doing the show is highlighting the dogs journey and giving them a bit of love can make them be a different dog and they can go on to enjoy their lives.’

For Dogs’ Sake airs Mondays at 9pm on U&W.

British vigilantes who spearheaded efforts to fly England flags across the country have launched a new anti-migrant protest – attempting to block illegal Channel crossings.

Using the term “Operation Stop The Boats”, members of the group have been filming themselves slashing small boats before they are used by migrants to cross the English Channel from France.

Claiming to be recording from the northern French coast, one said: “Just like in the 1940s, we must take a stand, and it starts with the men of England and Britain.”

Making an appeal to “firms” – a phrase that refers to football hooligan groups – the other man added: “Our country is doing nothing. Weak government, weaker borders.

“They are doing nothing, so we need to make a stand, boys. Get the lads together, get your firms together, get the lads in the pub, get the lads down the bars, if you’re talking about it and you agree with what we are doing, give us a hand.”

The Government is under pressure to tackle the issue of migration amid a record number of asylum applications, surging small boat crossings and protests at hotels housing asylum seekers.

On Monday, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood set out a package of reforms to asylum policies aimed at tackling illegal migration, telling MPs the current situation is “out of control and unfair”.

The latest videos shared by those linked to the Raise the Colours group have separately been referred to as “Operation Overlord”.

Earlier clips showed two men saying they were taking matters of illegal migration into their own hands and filming themselves stamping on and smashing a small boat’s engine.

In the clips, they refer to themselves as “patriots” and make a number of claims without evidence, such as that they are stopping “rapists and murderers” from “coming to a town near you”.

The flag-raising group, who have a combined 100,000 followers on X and Instagram, also posted a plea on X for donations last week, writing that they are: “STOPPING The Boats, whether the migrants or government like it or not!”

Two videos from the group have recently been shared to the 1.7 million X followers of Tommy Robinson. The far-right figure and former leader of the English Defence League, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has previously been accused of mobilising football hooligan firms in an attempt to launch anti-Muslim rallies across the country.

Separately, French media reports that the Dunkirk Public Prosecutor’s office has opened a preliminary investigation into “aggravated violence” against migrants by suspected British far-right figures.

One of the details being examined by the French prosecutor is the claim that in September, four men waving British and UK flags verbally and physically attacked migrants on the French coast. It is alleged that they told the migrants they were not welcome in England and proceeded to steal some of their belongings.

The men are not the first anti-migrant figures to travel to France in a bid to take matters into their own hands.

In September, Ukip, Nigel Farage’s former political party, posted a video to their X account showing what appeared to be sleeping migrants in France being woken by people flashing strobe lights in their faces and shouting at them.

Nick Tenconi, Ukip’s current leader, also posted a video captioned: “In Calais hunting for illegal invaders trying to cross into Britain.”

“WE WON’T TAKE IT BACK!” – Joanna Lumley and Rylan Clark Stand Firm After Controversial Live TV Remarks Ignite National Debate

Before the backlash even began, Joanna Lumley and Rylan Clark stood their ground — unapologetic, unshaken, and unafraid.

“I don’t regret a single word,” Joanna declared with her trademark poise. “I’m proud to have spoken the truth.”

Their fearless words, delivered during separate live  TV appearances last week, have since set the nation ablaze — dividing opinion, sparking heated debate, and turning social media into a battleground of clashing views.

🔥 “They Said What Others Wouldn’t Dare”

In an era where many celebrities tread carefully around sensitive topics, both Lumley and Clark chose not to hold back. Their frank honesty, rare in today’s entertainment landscape, struck a chord with some — and a nerve with others.

Supporters flooded social media with praise:

“Finally, someone with the guts to speak their mind!” wrote one fan on X.
Another added: “Rylan and Joanna just said what millions are thinking — bravo!”

But others weren’t so impressed, calling their comments “reckless,” “tone-deaf,” and “out of touch.”

    Still, both stars remain unmoved.

“I’ve worked in television long enough to know when something needs to be said,” Rylan responded during a radio interview. “You can’t live your life afraid of upsetting people — sometimes the truth stings.”

💬 “Honest, Bold, and Refreshingly Real”

The controversy has evolved into one of the year’s most talked-about showbiz moments. Commentators argue that the reaction says more about the public mood than the presenters themselves.

Media analyst Clare Owens told The Sun:

“People are tired of filtered, scripted talk-show moments. Lumley and Clark gave audiences something raw and real — and that’s why it’s exploded the way it has.”

Fans of Loose Women and This Morning have also joined the conversation, describing their statements as “refreshing honesty” in an industry that often plays it safe.

    ⚡ A Firestorm That Won’t Fade

As the dust continues to swirl online, neither Lumley nor Clark show any signs of backing down. Their message — intentional or not — has reignited discussions about free speech,  celebrity responsibility, and authenticity in media.

Rylan summed it up best in one fiery closing remark:

“If speaking the truth causes a storm, so be it. I’d rather be real than silent.”

And Joanna Lumley, ever the national treasure, added with calm conviction:

“Sometimes honesty is uncomfortable. But that doesn’t make it wrong.”

But on a crisp autumn morning in the rolling hills of Essex, Wicks pulled off a feat that transcended tabloid fodder: he dropped a staggering £5 million to transform a derelict plot into a sprawling sanctuary for 13 forsaken dogs, yanked from the brink of a grim fate at an infamous slaughterhouse. The story alone is heartwarming—a millionaire trading Lambos for leads and red carpets for rawhide. Yet, it’s one off-the-cuff remark, uttered amid the cheers and camera flashes, that left onlookers, volunteers, and even his closest mates utterly speechless. His on-off fling with Megan McKenna became appointment viewing—fiery rows, makeup makeouts, and enough tears to fill the Thames. Off-camera, Pete’s been on a quieter journey: therapy sessions unpacking his dad’s suicide, a pivot to podcasting with Staying Relevant (co-hosted with Sam Thompson, where they dissect everything from mental health to man-flu myths), and a string of wellness ventures, including a clothing line that donates proceeds to suicide prevention. But beneath the bravado, there’s always been a soft spot for the voiceless—stray cats in his flat, fundraisers for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, and whispers of late-night drives to pull pups from shelters.

The spark for this £5M odyssey? A tip-off from a shadowy contact in the animal welfare underground. Last spring, Pete caught wind of a derelict slaughterhouse on the outskirts of Chelmsford, a forgotten relic from the ’80s where regulations had lapsed, and desperate owners dumped their “problems” at the door. Thirteen dogs— a motley crew of lurchers, staffies, and mongrels, ages ranging from wide-eyed puppies to grizzled seniors—were slated for the bolt gun in 48 hours. “I saw the photos,” Pete later recounted, his voice cracking in a raw Instagram Live. “Eyes like they’d given up. It hit me like a brick— these weren’t strays; they were someone’s discarded family.” No time for red tape: Pete wired funds, rallied a team of vets and builders, and stormed the facility with a fleet of vans. By dawn, the dogs were en route to a makeshift holding pen, their barks a symphony of second chances.

The £5 million investment? No small change, even for a bloke who’s parlayed reality TV into a £2M net worth. He snapped up 50 acres of prime Essex farmland—a crumbling estate with barns begging for beams and fields ripe for romps— and turned it into “Wicks’ Wayward Tails,” a state-of-the-art haven. Picture this: solar-powered kennels with underfloor heating, a hydrotherapy pool for rehabbing the rescued, organic veggie patches for homemade kibble, and even a “zen zone” agility course designed by dog whisperer experts. Pete didn’t skimp: custom murals of famous mutts (think Hachiko meets Lassie) adorn the walls, and a dedicated vet clinic ensures no tail wags in vain. “This isn’t a hobby,” he told a cluster of wide-eyed reporters at the grand opening. “It’s a promise. These dogs get the life they were robbed of— forever homes, or the best damn retirement village on four legs.”

The 13 originals? They’ve got names now that scream personality: Bolt (the speedy lurcher with trust issues), Sable (the staffie who hoards socks like treasures), and little Luna, the runt who arrived shivering but now leads the pack in zoomies. Volunteers buzz around like bees in a hive, funded by Pete’s merch drops and corporate tie-ins (hello, branded chew toys at Pets at Home). It’s not just rescue; it’s revolution—Pete’s partnering with local councils to crack down on puppy farms and pushing for tougher slaughterhouse laws in Parliament. Essex, once synonymous with fake tans and feuds, is now ground zero for goodwill.

The Grand Unveiling: Cheers, Tears, and a Curveball Comment

Fast-forward to the sanctuary’s ribbon-cutting bash, a sun-drenched affair under azure skies. A-listers dotted the guest list: Megan McKenna showed up with her own pooch in tow, sharing an awkward-but-amicable hug with Pete; Sam Thompson brought the laughs, MC-ing with dad jokes about “fetching” donations; even Chloe Sims popped by, her eyes misty as she cuddled a rescue pup. The press pack was thick—Hello!OK!, and The Sun jockeying for quotes—while influencers live-streamed the works, racking up millions of views. Pete, dapper in a linen shirt rolled to his elbows (tats on full display), hoisted a golden leash like an Olympic torch, declaring, “Today, we don’t just save dogs—we save souls.”

The crowd ate it up: applause thundered as the gates swung open, the 13 pioneers bounding into their new digs with tails whipping like helicopter blades. A volunteer brigade—fur-real enthusiasts from Battersea to the RSPCA—cheered as each dog got their “welcome wag,” a ceremonial treat toss. Donations poured in via QR codes on hay bales; a silent auction of Pete’s signed TOWIE scripts fetched thousands. It was peak feel-good: kids finger-painting paw prints, a live band crooning “Who Let the Dogs Out,” and Pete posing for selfies with every mutt in sight. “This is bigger than me,” he beamed, sweat beading on his brow from the midday heat. “It’s for every kid who grew up with a dog as their best mate, like I did before… well, before everything.”

Then, the mic drop—or rather, the jaw-drop. As the festivities hit fever pitch, a reporter from Essex Live lobbed a softball: “Pete, what’s the one thing you want these dogs to teach the world?” The crowd hushed, phones poised for the soundbite. Pete paused, his easy grin fading into something steelier, eyes scanning the sea of smiling faces. He leaned into the mic, voice low and laced with gravel: “That loyalty isn’t blind. These dogs trusted humans once, and we broke them. If we can’t fix that betrayal in ourselves first, no amount of farms or fame will save the next one.” Silence. Dead, echoing silence. The band faltered mid-chord; a toddler’s balloon popped unnoticed; even the dogs seemed to tilt their heads, sensing the shift.

The Stunning Silence: Unpacking Pete’s Piercing Truth

That sentence? It landed like a thunderclap in a tea party. For a man who’d just funneled a fortune into fur-ever homes, it wasn’t gratitude or gush—it was a gut-punch indictment. The room, buzzing with champagne toasts and treat bags, froze in collective introspection. Reporters exchanged glances; influencers fumbled their filters; Megan’s hand flew to her mouth. Was this the cheeky Pete, calling out the very society that idolizes him? Or a deeper confession, echoing his own scars—the absent father, the public breakups, the nights when loyalty felt like a luxury?

In the aftermath, the quote went viral, dissected on every podcast from Staying Relevant to The Joe Rogan Experience. Sam Thompson, in a teary episode, admitted, “Mate, you stopped me cold. Made me think about the mates I’ve ghosted.” Mental health advocates hailed it as a manifesto: “Wicks just therapy-slammed the nation,” tweeted one influencer. Critics? Some sniped it as “preachy Pete,” but even they couldn’t deny the resonance—especially with the sanctuary’s first adoption wave, where families signed “loyalty pledges” inspired by his words. Pete, unfazed by the frenzy, doubled down in a follow-up IG post: a black-and-white shot of him with Bolt, captioned, “We owe them better. Start with you.”

The ripple? Monumental. Donation spikes hit 300%; copycat sanctuaries sprouted in Surrey and Somerset; Pete’s even scripting a docu-series, Tails of Betrayal, blending rescue footage with raw chats on trust. For the dogs, it’s paradise: Sable’s already matched with a therapy program, Luna’s starring in puppy Pilates vids. And Pete? He’s trading TOWIE cameos for dawn patrols, his man-bun windswept, soul a tad lighter.

A Legacy in Leashes: Pete’s Pound of Gold

Pete Wicks’ £5M gamble isn’t about headlines—though it snagged plenty. It’s a testament to turning pain into paws, fame into fields. That stunning sentence? It wasn’t a slip; it was the soul of the story, reminding us that true rescue starts inward. As Essex’s prodigal son patrols his pack under starlit skies, one can’t help but wonder: In a world quick to betray, can we all learn

  • Hot: It’s Rylan Clark! The BBC just made a shocking announcement, revealing that Ryan will take on the hosting role on Strictly Come Dancing after Tess and Claudia’s sudden departure. And the person joining him is someone no one expected!

Hot: It’s Rylan Clark! The BBC just made a shocking announcement, revealing that Ryan will take on the hosting role on Strictly Come Dancing after Tess and Claudia’s sudden departure. And the person joining him is someone no one expected!

Hot: It’s Rylan Clark! The BBC just made a shocking announcement, revealing that Ryan will take on the hosting role on Strictly Come Dancing after Tess and Claudia’s sudden departure. And the person joining him is someone no one expected!

In a move that has sent shockwaves through the glittering world of ballroom dancing, the BBC has officially announced Rylan Clark as the new host of *Strictly Come Dancing*, stepping into the formidable shoes left vacant by long-time presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. The revelation, dropped like a bombshell during a prime-time special on November 26, 2025, confirms what insiders have been whispering for weeks: the charismatic former *X Factor* star and beloved radio personality will lead the show’s 2026 series. But the real jaw-dropper? His co-host is none other than Emma Willis, the no-nonsense presenter known for her work on *Big Brother* and *The Voice UK*—a choice that has left fans reeling, divided, and utterly surprised.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of Tess and Claudia’s emotional exit, revealed just last month in a joint Instagram video that caught even the show’s insiders off guard. The duo, who have helmed *Strictly* since 2004 and 2014 respectively, cited a desire for more family time and new projects as their reasons for bowing out after the current series wraps. “It’s been an incredible ride, but it’s time to hang up our sequins,” Tess said in the video, her voice cracking with emotion. Claudia, ever the witty counterpart, added, “We’ve laughed, cried, and glitter-bombed our way through two decades. What a sparkle!” Their departure marks the end of an era for the BBC’s flagship entertainment program, which has dazzled audiences with its mix of celebrity glamour, professional prowess, and occasional controversy.

Rylan Clark, 37, is no stranger to the *Strictly* family. Rising to fame on *The X Factor* in 2012, where his larger-than-life personality and infectious energy won over Simon Cowell and the nation, Rylan transitioned seamlessly into presenting. He hosted *Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two* from 2019 to 2023, earning rave reviews for his empathetic interviews and cheeky banter with contestants. Fans remember his heartfelt moments, like consoling tearful dancers after tough critiques or hyping up underdogs before live shows. His departure from *It Takes Two* in 2023 to focus on other ventures, including his BBC Radio 2 show and various TV gigs, left a void—but now, he’s back in a bigger role than ever.

“Rylan’s the perfect fit,” a BBC insider told us exclusively. “He’s got that sparkle, that warmth, and he knows the show inside out. Plus, he’s adored by the viewers.” Betting odds had pegged him as a frontrunner alongside names like Bill Bailey and Alan Carr, but the official nod still feels like a triumph for the Essex boy done good. Rylan himself reacted with trademark humility and excitement on social media shortly after the announcement: “Pinch me! Hosting *Strictly*? Dream come true. Can’t wait to bring the glitz with my fabulous co-host. Let’s dance!”

But it’s the choice of Emma Willis as his co-host that’s truly raised eyebrows. At 49, Emma brings a wealth of experience from reality TV heavyweights, where her poised demeanor and sharp interviewing skills have made her a household name. Yet, her pairing with Rylan is unexpected—fans had speculated duos like Rylan with Fleur East (who replaced him on *It Takes Two*) or even a solo host shake-up. “Emma? Really?” one fan tweeted in disbelief. “Love her on *Big Brother*, but *Strictly* is all about fun and flair. This feels like a curveball.” Others praised the move: “Fresh energy! Emma’s class and Rylan’s charm—genius combo.”

Sources close to the production reveal that Emma was a last-minute contender, edging out other favorites after impressing in screen tests. “The chemistry was electric,” our insider dished. “Rylan’s bubbly, Emma’s grounded—they balance each other like Tess and Claudia did.” Emma, married to Busted’s Matt Willis and a mother of three, has spoken openly about her love for dance shows. In a past interview, she confessed, “I’d kill to be part of *Strictly*—the glamour, the stories, it’s TV magic.” Her addition signals the BBC’s intent to evolve the format, perhaps injecting more in-depth contestant chats amid the tango and tango.

The shake-up couldn’t come at a more pivotal time for *Strictly*. The 2025 series has been marred by scandals, from judge walkout rumors to contestant injuries, prompting calls for a refresh. Tess and Claudia’s exit, while voluntary, was influenced by the show’s grueling schedule—weekends dominated by live broadcasts, leaving little room for personal life. BBC chief content officer Kate Phillips addressed the changes in a statement: “Tess and Claudia have been the heart of *Strictly*, but we’re thrilled to welcome Rylan and Emma. They’ll honor the legacy while bringing new vibrancy.”

Reactions from the *Strictly* alumni have poured in. Former winner Bill Bailey, who was tipped for the role, tweeted his support: “Rylan? Brilliant choice! And Emma—unexpected but spot on. Can’t wait to watch.” Judge Craig Revel Horwood, known for his acerbic wit, dropped a hint on air last week: “Darlings, big changes ahead—fabulous!” Fans speculate this could mean more judge involvement, perhaps even guest spots.

Rylan’s journey to this pinnacle is a testament to his resilience. After *X Factor*, he navigated personal highs and lows, including his 2021 divorce from Dan Neal and mental health battles, which he shared candidly in his memoir *Ten: The Decade That Changed My Future*. His advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights and mental health has endeared him to millions, making him more than just a presenter—he’s a role model. “I’ve grown so much,” Rylan reflected in a recent Radio 2 broadcast. “Hosting *Strictly*? It’s full circle.”

Emma, too, brings depth. Her no-frills style contrasts Rylan’s flamboyance, promising dynamic on-screen moments. Imagine her grilling judges on scores while Rylan rallies the crowd—pure entertainment gold. But not everyone’s convinced. A Reddit thread exploded with debates: “Why not keep it in the family? Rylan yes, but Emma feels like a mismatch.” Others worry about gender balance, with two hosts again but a fresh dynamic.

As *Strictly* gears up for 2026, producers promise innovations: more diverse celebrities, interactive viewer votes, and perhaps themed weeks honoring the show’s history. Rylan and Emma’s debut will be scrutinized, but if their past successes are any indication, they’ll waltz through the pressure.

Tess and Claudia’s final bow from Blackpool Tower Ballroom last weekend was tearful, with tributes from stars like Rose Ayling-Ellis and Hamza Yassin. “You’ve been our guiding lights,” Rose signed in a video message. Now, the torch passes to Rylan and Emma—a hot new era for *Strictly*, full of surprises, sequins, and steps into the unknown.

In the end, this announcement isn’t just about hosts; it’s about reinvention. *Strictly Come Dancing* has survived scandals, pandemics, and shifting tastes. With Rylan at the helm and Emma by his side, the show is poised to shine brighter than ever. As Rylan might say: “Keep dancing!”

MPs have voted down Nigel  Farage’s attempt to introduce a Ten-Minute Rule Bill to have the UK leave the European Convention on Human Rights.

The vote was not on the legislation itself, but on the principle of bringing forward a Bill.

Following a debate, MPs voted against the motion by 154 to 96

The Reform UK leader described the bill as “the unfinished business” of Brexit and argued that it would restore Parliament’s power over UK law.

Citing a series of cases in which British rule has been overridden by the Strasbourg court, Mr Farage was making his point while MPs sought to shout him down.

Liberal Democrat MPs were particularly loud, and Mr Farage quipped he had “never seen so many of them”, a remark which only served to draw a louder response.

The Reform UK head honcho repeatedly slapped down MPs, telling them not to “shake their heads” and asking “what is wrong” with them as he made his point.

Liberal Democrats leader Ed Davey was able to deliver a response upon the conclusion of Mr Farage’s statement, in which he accused the Reform UK man of being deeply “un-British”.

“This is about sovereignty”, said Mr Farage.

“It’s about our voters being able to choose the future course and direction of our country. This is why this matters.”

Rachel Reeves admits to breaking housing laws after renting out family home

Rachel Reeves has admitted to breaking housing laws after renting out her family home without a licence after entering Downing Street.

The Chancellor has referred herself to the independent ethics adviser.

She has also informed Sir Keir Starmer of her mistake.

Ms Reeves failed to obtain a rental licence when she placed her family home in Dulwich on the rental market last year, as she moved into Number 11 Downing Street with her family in July, according to the Mail.

Chris Philp denies Tories they have thrown out plans to toughen up indefinite leave to remain

The Conservatives have denied they are scrapping plans to toughen the rules that allow migrants to settle permanently in the UK.

A spokesman for Tory leader Kemi Badenoch signalled to journalists on Wednesday that proposals that could result in migrants settled in the UK having their indefinite leave to remain (ILR) revoked retrospectively were no longer Tory policy.

But shadow home secretary Chris Philp later insisted this did not mean all of the party’s ILR plans had been thrown out, after Reform UK seized upon it.

“Contrary to reports, there has been no change to our ILR policy set out in February,” Mr Philp wrote on social media on Wednesday night.

“We further updated our policy at conference to make clear foreign citizens (including those with ILR) should not be able to claim benefits, to address the issue of people with ILR being a burden on other taxpayers.”

Reform’s rise has been dizzying, but the polls hide a landmine – and the party may have already stood on it

The rise of Reform since last year’s general election has been remarkable.

Its current standing in the polls is, on average, now double the 15 per cent share the party won in 2024. It has been in the lead for more than six months. Some polling suggests the party could be on course for an overall majority if an election were held now

Never has a party other than Conservative or Labour been ahead in the polls for so long – not even the Liberal/SDP Alliance at the height of its popularity in 1981/2. Reform is posing the biggest ever challenge to Britain’s traditional two-party system.

Yet, there is still a key question facing the party.

Former Reform UK councillor accuses party of ack of ‘human decency’

A former Reform UK councillor, Bill Barrett, has claimed the party shows a lack of “human decency” and is worried about how they treat power.

Bill Barrett was one of 57 Reform UK councillors elected to Kent County Council (KCC) at the local elections in May, overturning a 30-year Tory majority.

Last week, he was expelled from Reform UK for “undermining” the party’s interests in an email from its headquarters.

He was one of four councillors suspended from the party following a video meeting of KCC leader Linden Kemkaren, during which she swore and shouted at her members.

Mr Barrett said: “They just basically suspended everyone and then expelled everyone on individual points that had nothing to do with the Guardian leak.”

He later added: “They still have absolutely no idea who released the information to The Guardian and the truth of it is that none of us do.”

The newly independent councillor was extremely critical of the Reform UK hierarchy in Kent and at a national level, and cast doubt on their ability to govern effectively.

Mr Barrett said: “If they’re prepared to treat each other in this manner, how are they going to treat power and how are they going to treat the public?

“What’s going to happen is they’re basically going to get into power and they’re going to say, ‘this is the way it’s going to be’, that’s exactly what Kemkaran does at KCC.”

Lib Dems blasts ‘outrageous’ payment to s3x offender: ‘Public trust was completely trashed’

The Liberal Democrats have described a £500 payment to migrant sex attacker, Hadush Kebatu, as “outrageous”.

The party’s home affairs spokesperson, Max Wilkinson, said: “People will rightly be angry. Public trust was completely trashed after Kebatu’s wrongful release and now this.

“This is outrageous. We need to fix our fundamentally broken immigration system.”

It follows Home Office confirmation that a migrant sex attacker, Hadush Kebatu, was paid £500 to leave the UK.

Kebatu, who was convicted of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl and a woman in Epping, was mistakenly set free on Friday.

After a two-day police manhunt, he was arrested in the capital on Sunday morning.

Reform UK has leapfrogged Scottish Labour into second place as voters flock from Keir Starmer to Nigel Farage, poll shows

Reform UK has leapfrogged Scottish Labour into second place ahead of next year’s election as one third of Scots feel negatively about the country’s future, a new poll suggests.

A study conducted by Survation for the IPPR Scotland think tank ahead of its conference on Wednesday spoke to 2,043 people between September 22 and October 14, finding the SNP maintains its lead in Scotland.

According to the poll, John Swinney’s party retains 34 per cent support in the constituency vote and 29 per cent on the list.

Nigel Farage-led Reform has moved to 22 per cent and 20 per cent respectively, ahead of Labour on 18 per cent and 17 per cent.

The Scottish Conservatives are fourth in the poll, with 10 per cent and 12 per cent support, slightly ahead of the Liberal Democrats on 8 per cent and 10 per cent.

Support for the Scottish Greens is put at 7 per cent and 10 per cent.

The bulk of Reform support, according to the poll, has come from Labour, with 34 per cent saying they will vote for the party, having backed Sir Keir Starmer last year.

Nigel Farage’s speech on ECHR ‘totally misrepresents’ convention – Ed Davey

Ed Davey said Nigel Farage’s speech on the ECHR ‘totally misrepresents’ the convention

Responding to Nigel Farage’s proposals to leave the ECHR, Sir Ed Davey said: “The speech we have just heard totally misrepresents the European Convention and the proposer’s failure to mention the huge benefits and rights the European Convention has brought to millions of British people says it all.

“For those attracted by the argument we have just heard, let me give them one strong reason to think again.

“Russia, under Vladamir Putin, is the only country to have withdrawn from the European Convention on Human Rights. Maybe that is what attracts the honourable gentleman for Clacton to it – after all he said that Putin is the world leader he most admires.”

Nigel Farage: ‘ECHR is completely outdated’

Presenting his 10 minute Bill in the House of Commons, Nigel Farage said: “We do not believe, I do not believe that it is right that when it comes to controlling our borders, when it comes to who should be able legally to live, work and settle in this country or indeed who should not be allowed to stay in this country, for this to be under the remit firstly of judges in Strasbourg who by the way are jurists…and secondly under the political control of judges in this country who now can make their own interpretation of what we have understood for many, many years to be British common law.”

He added: “We go on of course to horrendous stories, particularly under Article 8 – the right to a family life. Well – whose family? The families of British people?

“Or the families of those who have come into Britain in some cases illegally and then been waved through. Some of it is disgusting beyond belief.”

He went on to say the ECHR was “completely outdated”.

Nigel Farage was interrupted while presenting a 10 minute rule bill in the House of Commons.

As he was speaking about the European Convention on Human Rights, the words “Putin’s Pal” were shouted in the chamber.

Mr Farage responded: “Marvellous to see the intellectual levels of debate in this place it really is.”

Reform’s benefit plans are ‘poor copy-and-paste’ of the Conservatives’, party says

The Tories have accused Reform UK of creating a “poor copy-and-paste” of their benefit proposals.

Responding to Reform’s announcement earlier today, Kemi Badenoch’s spokesman said: “We’ve come out with a full plan, what they’ve come out with looks like a poor copy-and-paste of our plan.”

Keir Starmer blasts ‘toxic division’ from opposition

The Prime Minister said: “I though that the King and the Pope praying together was an incredible message to the world and very powerful – if we all work together we can actually bring people together not withstanding the very many difficulties and challenges that poses around the world and in our own country.

“It is why as far as we can we should be uniting on national patriotic renewal in this country rather than the toxic division we see on some of the benches opposite.”

Reform would be ‘absolute disaster’ for Britain’s defence – Keir Starmer

Sir Keir Starmer has taken another swipe at Reform UK during PMQ’s, saying the party would be an “absolute disaster” for Britain’s defence

He said: “For Nato allies, the conflict in Ukraine and dealing with Russian aggression is the number one issue.

“And that is why I have to say the Reform party would be an absolute disaster for our defence.

“We are a trusted member of Nato. We would not be a trusted member if we were Nato-friendly.

“We are leading the Coalition of the Willing, giving security and comfort to 30 other countries.

“That would collapse under Reform because they are Putin-friendly and it would be a real threat to our defence and our security.”

Kemi Badenoch accuses Keir Starmer of being ‘too weak to control spending’

Kemi Badenoch has accused Keir Starmer of being ‘too weak’ to control spending

Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has accused Keir Starmer of being “too weak to control spending” during a fiery exchange at PMQ’s.

She said: “The fact he has to stand there and make stuff up shows what kind of Prime Minister he is.

“We had an itemised list of £47billion – £23billion was on welfare spending which I asked him to work with us to cut.

“He refuses to do so. All he knows how to do is tax, tax, tax.”

“He is raising taxes because he is too weak to control spending. He is blaming us, he is blaming the OBR, last week they were blaming Brexit. Is it the truth that with this Prime Minister it is always someone else’s fault?”

PM: ‘Conservatives won’t be trusted on the economy for generations’

Sir Keir Starmer said Labour would take “no lecture or advice” from the Conservatives on the economy.

Speaking at PMQ’s, the Prime Minister said: ” We will take no lecture or advice from [the Conservatives] on the economy – they won’t be trust on the economy for generations to come.

“That is why at our Budget I can be clear there will be no return to austerity – that is what broke the country. No return to the instability of their mad borrowing spree.”

Keir Starmer refuses to give answer on if Government plans to increase ‘working people’ taxes

When asked by Kemi Badenoch if the Government would stand by its prior pledges not to increase income tax, national insurance or VAT, Sir Keir Starmer replied: “Retail sales are higher than inspection, inflation is lower than expected, growth has been upgraded this year and the UK stock market is at an all-time high.

“The Budget is on November 26 and we will lay out our plans but I can tell the House now that we will build a stronger economy, we will cut NHS waiting lists and deliver a better future for our country.”

Sir Keir Starmer takes swipe at ‘Putin-friendly Reform party’ during PMQs

Sir Keir Starmer has taken a swipe at Reform during PMQ’s .

Sir Keir Starmer has taken a swipe at Reform during PMQ’s this afternoon, describing the party as “Putin-friendly”.

The Prime Minister said : “This Government has secured the biggest deal to manufacture typhoon fighter jets in this country for almost 20 years.

“We secured that deal because the UK is back as a leading and trusting member of Nato. A timely reminder for the Green Party whose policy is to take us out of Nato, the Putin-friendly Reform party who would have no standing with Nato and for the leading of the opposition – you don’t win Nato deals by not turning up to Nato meetings.”

Labour cracks down on four-day weeks as local councils slammed for wasting taxpayers’ money

The Government is set to crack down on four-day weeks as councils have been accused of “wasting taxpayer money”.

Housing Secretary Steve Reed has written to South Cambridgeshire District Council, which became the first local authority to introduce the policy, saying its services have “worsened” since it was put in place.

The four-day week model sees workers at the council receive 100 per cent of their pay for around 85 per cent of their contracted hours.

In a letter seen by the The Telegraph, Mr Reed expressed “deep disappointment” with the authority’s conduct.

He said: “I am therefore seeking assurance about the arrangements your council has in place to consider the impacts of your policy, and that value for money for residents is being delivered.

“In particular, I would like to understand how the council is seeking to mitigate the impact to those services which have worsened over the course of the four-day working week trial.”

He requested council chiefs meet with his officials in the coming weeks.

A Government source told The Telegraph “wasting taxpayer money in this fashion is completely unacceptable”.

Zia Yusuf: ‘Britain has become food bank for the world’

Zia Yusuf said Britain has “sadly become a food bank for the world” as he announced Reform’s planned crackdown on Benefits.

He said: “Britain has sadly become a food bank for the world.

“A lot of the data around the cost of foreign nationals on welfare is hidden – the Government doesn’t disclose it. We do have some information for example around Universal Credit and that is already staggering.”

‘We need to get more people back to work’ – Zia Yusuf

Speaking at the press conference, Reform’s Head of Policy Zia Yusuf said: “There are no doubt many people in this country who do have disabilities and do need assistance rom the taxpayer.

“Our proposals continue to protect those people and ensure that they continue to receive those payments. But we have to again look at the extraordinary growth in Pip claims which are now up to 1,300 per day that is up from 500 per day in 2019.

“We know we need to get more people back to work so what our proposals are here at Reform are to simultaneously fix the incentives to not work and fix the incentives to get people to work.”

Reform would scrap Pip payments for those with ‘anxiety disorders’, says Lee Anderson

Lee Anderson has revealed Reform’s plans to scrap Pip payments for people with anxiety disorders which he claims would save £3.2billion per year.

Speaking at the press conference, Mr Anderson said: “A Reform UK Government would fully remove those with anxiety disorders but not serious psychiatric disorders from Pip eligibility.
