George is reflecting on his relationship with his dance partner, Alexis amidst his mum’s cancer diagnosis

George Clarke is feeling the pressure – but he admits he gets a kick out of being half of Strictly’s golden couple. He and Alexis Warr danced the quickstep to Frank Sinatra’s I Get a Kick Out of You on last night’s show, in an attempt to top their score of 39 out of 40 in Blackpool last week.

YouTuber George, 25, said he is “going a bit mental” as rehearsals get tougher every week. And professional partner Alexis believes there is a simple answer: “We need him to eat breakfast and get proper sleep.”

The pair are still riding high after Blackpool and George says his body is finally adapting to Strictly life. “I think I’m getting fitter,” he says hopefully. “There is pressure now. It’s nice to dream, but we try to focus on each week.”

Alexis agrees: “We don’t try to manifest anything because if it doesn’t happen, you feel disappointed. We’re just enjoying the process.”

George’s charming turn on the Saturday night staple has earned him a whole new fanbase – including the Strictly mums. “We keep bumping into Sue outside Elstree Studios, a regular Strictly vlogger,” he says. “First time she couldn’t work her phone and asked us to take the photo. “Then the next person to recognise me was a kid going: ‘Yo, what’s my man doing here?’”

But the person cheering the loudest is closer to home: His nan. “She’s been amazing,” George says. “She doesn’t normally vote, but she’s been using all five votes on me every week.”

Alexis, 25, remembers instantly knowing her partnership with George would be fun. She says: “He’s funny, witty, smart and proper.”

Despite Strictly being a competition, the pair insist there’s no rivalry dominating backstage. “George is the cheerleader of the group,” Alexis says. “It’s so cute.” For George, the worst part of the week is the results show. “Someone has to go, and everyone works so hard,” he said.

But perhaps the most emotional part of George’s Strictly journey is doing it for his mum, who was diagnosed with cancer recently. “She’s class,” he says. “She just asks: ‘Are you eating enough? How’s your dance this week?’ It just shows the sort of person she is.”

George revealed the news in a VT on the show. The TikTok sensation disclosed it wasn’t the first time his mum has faced health issues. Speaking directly to the camera, George said: “Unfortunately, recently she got diagnosed with cancer.” Nobody deserves what she has gone through, but least of all her. It feels like it’s taking up so much of her life now.”

Before revealing the tragic cancer news, he opened up about her previous health battles. He recalled: “When I was 16, I was about to leave for hockey practise with my dad and he said ‘oh I’ll just check on mum one more time because she was feeling a bit ill. “Nobody deserves what she has gone through, but least of all her.”

He went upstairs and she was having a seizure. “She was diagnosed with a brain inflammation called encephalitis.”

Speaking to his professional partner Alexis Warr, he then added: “I had no idea what it was and most people that do know is because it has affected them in a horrible way.”

“She’s the most selfless person I’ve ever met. When she came out of hospital was apologise for what she’d put us through.”

Nicky was in the audience alongside her husband and George’s father, Shaun, to watch the emotional performance. After the performance, the judges thanked George for his openness about his mum’s diagnosis. Judge Motsi Mabuse added: “I wish her all the best and that we can live this life together.”

Strictly Panic As Furious Fans Slam ‘Utterly Mad’ Moment And Warn The BBC The Show Is Crumbling

    Craig and Shirley

Strictly Come Dancing fans were left frustrated after the BBC introduced its new Instant Dance challenge on Saturday’s show that was deliberately chaotic. Some fans called it “utterly mad” and saw it as a sign that the show was tampering with the formula that made it successful in the first place. Lewis Cope and Katya Jones were the initial winners of this intense new format, as they wowed the judges with their impromptu routine.

However, the overall segment left longstanding viewers questioning the decision behind the Week 10 challenge, as the celebrities seemed to struggle through their choreographed routines after last weekend’s hectic Blackpool show, which had no elimination due to La Voix’s injury.

Celebrities were forced to perform dances they had already learned, but with almost no preparation time and no rehearsal. Just a random style drawn live and then a mad dash through the wardrobe to grab whatever costume they could find in seconds.

Show hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman kept the energy up as usual, but the time pressure saw celebrities rushing to find outfits, scrambling to prepare for their routines and desperately trying to look composed as the clock ticked.

After the whirlwind performances, judges ranked the couples from six points to one, in marks that could prove decisive in what has become one of Strictly’s tightest-ever competitions. Head judge Shirley Ballas was quick to defend the segment, insisting: “The dance styles, costumes and music might not be revealed until the night, but what we can be sure of is that it’s going to be a whole lot of fun.”

Social media erupted within minutes of it airing, with one viewer writing: “I can’t tell if this Instant Dance thing is the best idea or complete utter madness.” Another fumed: “Please stop with the judges, Tess and Claudia doing their silly dancing, it’s a cringe fest!”

A third claimed the whole segment “felt too manic, like when Cowell messed around with The X Factor format and sent it into its demise”. Others said Strictly should have stuck with the classic format, calling the frantic clothes-grabbing idea “silly” and “beneath the show.”

However, many others praised the new addition, feeling it had completely “reinvigorated” the programme and also provided some much-needed humour and fun. Claudia, in particular, received an influx of compliments, as she was declared a “national treasure” for continuing to front the show despite not having a clue what was happening around her.

Alex Kingston Sparks Panic On Strictly After Sh0cking Live Meltdown Leaving Viewers Asking What Really Happened

Motsi Mabuse told her: ‘You’re human, but I cross my fingers for you’

It wasn’t Strictly Come Dancing star Alex Kingston’s night as she returned to the BBC ballroom tonight (November 29) with her Cha Cha Cha.

Last weekend in Blackpool, hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced the news that La Voix was withdrawing from the competition due to injury. As a result, all of the remaining stars were given a bye through to this week.

This week, though, no one is safe, and there are concerns that Alex and her pro partner Johannes Radebe won’t make it through to next week’s quarter-final…

Strictly star Alex Kingston ‘all over the place’ in her Cha Cha Cha

Tonight’s show saw all four judges – Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke – back at their desk. And they had some sage advice for one couple…

After Alex Kingston and Johannes Radebe had danced their Cha Cha Cha to Ring My Bell, which was littered with mistakes, Tess Daly asked if the ER actress was okay.

“I went all over the place,” Alex said. “It’s a shame, because I love the dance. Let’s chat to the judges, but I know exactly what they’re going to say.”

Motsi said: “One mistake, I can forgive, two mistakes, I look the other way, three mistakes, I’m not Mother Christmas.”

She then added: “But you are human, and we are with you, so I cross my fingers for you.”

Shirley added: “Mistakes happen and maybe it’s just one of those days. Unfortunately, you seemed to get off at the beginning and it then it carried on throughout the routine. It just wasn’t your night tonight.”

Anton told Alex “we all have nights like that”. Before Craig was booed as he said: “You lost it, and it does happen. I just felt through the dance it just got worse and worse and worse.”

    Alex’s take on her dance

After Craig was booed, Alex defended him, and said if she was watching at home, she’d have thought exactly the same.

She then spoke about her “62-year-old body”, and how it’s suffering. “It’s never really kind of discussed, how our bodies are really suffering. My 62-year-old self is saying, what are you putting me through?

“It is what it is, a moment of fatigue, I’m afraid.”

Alex was scored 4 from Craig, 6 from Motsi, 6 from Shirley and 7 from Anton.

Strictly fans unfortunately branded the dance a “disaster”.

“Really think that first mistake threw Alex completely off, bit of a disaster!” said one.

“Ooof, this was a bit of a mess,” said a second. “Sorry, Alex and Johannes, very underwhelming and a boring routine,” another added. “Concerned for her this week,” said another.

“Alex seemed so nervous during that Cha Cha Cha. Such a shame with the amount of mistakes,” another said. “That was disastrous from Alex,” said another. “Worried she’ll be out this week,” said another.

  • Richard Madeley’s children have disowned their father after discovering the real reason he and Judy no longer live together: “Our mother suffered more than anyone could imagine.”

Richard Madeley’s children have disowned their father after discovering the real reason he and Judy no longer live together: “Our mother suffered more than anyone could imagine.”

Richard Madeley’s Children Disown Their Father After Learning the Truth Behind His Separation from Judy

Richard Madeley, a well-known British television presenter, has recently been at the center of a deeply personal family controversy. His children have reportedly disowned him after uncovering the real reason behind his separation from his wife, Judy Finnigan. This revelation has shed light on the emotional turmoil their mother endured, a struggle that many had not fully understood until now. The story has resonated widely, highlighting the complexities of family relationships and the lasting effects of personal decisions on loved ones.

The Real Reason Behind Richard Madeley and Judy’s Separation

For years, Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan were seen as one of television’s most beloved couples, admired for their professional partnership and seemingly strong personal bond. However, behind the scenes, their relationship was far more complicated. According to sources close to the family, the separation was not just a simple matter of growing apart but stemmed from deeper issues that profoundly affected their children.

The children’s discovery of the truth has been a turning point. They learned that their mother, Judy, suffered more than anyone could have imagined during the years leading up to the separation. This suffering was not widely publicized, but it has now come to light as a critical factor in the family’s current dynamics. The pain Judy experienced has deeply influenced her children’s feelings toward their father, leading to their decision to distance themselves from him.

How Judy’s Struggles Impacted the Family

Judy Finnigan’s struggles were largely kept private, but those close to the family reveal that she faced emotional and psychological challenges that took a toll on her well-being. The children witnessed their mother’s distress and felt the weight of the family’s unraveling. This emotional burden has shaped their perception of Richard Madeley and contributed to their estrangement.

The children’s reaction is understandable given the circumstances. When a parent endures hardship, it inevitably affects the entire family unit. In this case, the children’s loyalty to their mother and their desire to protect her from further pain have led them to make the difficult choice to disown their father. This decision underscores the profound impact that personal struggles can have on family relationships.

The Broader Implications for Celebrity Families

The Madeley family’s situation is a poignant example of how public figures often face intense scrutiny while managing private challenges. Celebrity families frequently deal with pressures that can exacerbate personal issues, making it harder to maintain unity. The public’s fascination with their lives can sometimes overshadow the very real emotional struggles they face behind closed doors.

This story serves as a reminder that fame does not shield individuals from hardship. It also highlights the importance of empathy and understanding when considering the complexities of family relationships, especially those in the public eye. The Madeley family’s experience may encourage others to look beyond the surface and recognize the human stories behind celebrity headlines.

    Moving Forward: Healing and Reconciliation

While the current situation is painful, there is hope for healing and reconciliation in the future. Families often go through difficult periods, and with time, communication and understanding can pave the way for mending broken bonds. For Richard Madeley and his children, acknowledging the past and addressing the underlying issues may be the first steps toward rebuilding their relationship.

Counseling and open dialogue could play a crucial role in this process. By confronting their feelings and sharing their perspectives, family members can work toward forgiveness and renewed connection. Although the road ahead may be challenging, the possibility of reconciliation remains, offering a chance for the family to come together once again.

What This Means for Fans and the Public

For fans of Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, this revelation may come as a shock. However, it also humanizes these well-known figures, reminding us that everyone faces personal struggles regardless of their public persona. Supporting them through this difficult time means respecting their privacy and recognizing the complexity of their family dynamics.

As the story unfolds, it will be important for the public to approach it with compassion rather than judgment. The Madeley family’s experience is a powerful example of the challenges that can arise within any family and the resilience required to overcome them.

    Conclusion

The story of Richard Madeley’s children disowning him after discovering the true reason behind his separation from Judy Finnigan is a poignant reminder of the complexities within family relationships. Their mother’s suffering has deeply affected the family, highlighting the emotional impact of personal struggles on loved ones. As this family navigates their path forward, it serves as a call for empathy and understanding in all our relationships. • “THE UNCERTAIN FUTURE STRESS”: Peg Munson REVEALS the emotional toll of the commitment discussion, confirming the biggest strain is the UNCERTAINTY about their future and the intense EXTERNAL PRESSURE to marry

“THE UNCERTAIN FUTURE STRESS”: Peg Munson REVEALS the emotional toll of the commitment discussion, confirming the biggest strain is the UNCERTAINTY about their future and the intense EXTERNAL PRESSURE to marry

While Peg Munson did not use the exact phrase “emotional toll” or “intense external pressure to marry,” she and Mel Owens have both openly acknowledged the stress of commitment discussion and the UNCERTAINTY of their future, which was intensified by their televised journey.

Peg confirmed that the greatest pressure comes from traditional expectations, but her solution is to relieve that stress by choosing to “write their own love story”—a process that involves taking things slowly and rejecting the intense pressure to rush to marriage.

    The Strain of UNCERTAINTY

The UNCERTAINTY surrounding their future was the central conflict of the season, leading to the self-elimination of finalist Cindy Cullers.

No Engagement: Mel did not propose marriage; he gave Peg a promise ring to signify their commitment to growing their love and “give us time to figure out… what our future holds.” This commitment, while romantic, deliberately embraces uncertainty rather than ending it with a proposal.

The Emotional Toll: Peg admitted she was initially “a little nervous” when Mel told her he couldn’t commit to a proposal, confirming that the lack of a traditional promise created emotional stress. She acknowledged the weight of the moment, telling Mel, “Stop it,” when he revealed Cindy had left.

The Cure: Writing Their Own Love Story

Peg has repeatedly framed their decision to delay marriage as a strength—a way to manage the intense external pressure and the uncertainty on their own terms.

Rejecting External Pressure: Peg views their slower pace as a perk of dating in their “golden years,” telling the host: “Being in your 60s and going through life, you get to write your own love story… That’s a love story we get to do it the way we want to do it, continue to grow our love, continue to spend time with our families.”

Living in the “And”: Peg also explained that their freedom reduces stress: “When you’re in your 60s, and you’ve done the kids and the car and the college and the marriages… you get to live in the ‘and.’ It’s his house and my house… We get to live in the ‘and,’ not the ‘or.’” This removes the immediate pressure of merging finances and homes, easing the transition.

In short, Peg is managing the stress of uncertainty not by demanding a quick marriage, but by creating a relationship structure that deliberately moves at a pace that is comfortable and pressure-free for both of them.

The creator of the fan-favourite 1990s game show Bullseye has sadly passed away at the age of 91, his family confirmed. Andrew Wood and comic Norman Vaughan co-created the legendary darts-themed game show in 1980. It didn’t take long for it to catapult to fame and become an ITV mainstay in the 80s and 90s.

His daughter, Laura Wood, confirmed his passing on the popular social media site, LinkedIn. She revealed that her father d!ed on Sunday (November 16) in a heartfelt statement. It read: “On Sunday morning, my Mum and I said a goodbye that we always knew was coming, but so desperately never wanted to.

“Most people will know him as the man (the legend) who created Bullseye. I simply know him as Dad. I’m struggling to find the words to fully describe this immense loss, but I was so incredibly proud to be his daughter. A pride that now sits alongside grief
    Game show memorabilia

“Dad led a life that, quite frankly, many can only dream of, from working with Don Arden, the Godfather of Rock, to cutting F1 drivers’ hair, owning the first record shop in Kingston-upon-Thames, to creating Bullseye, and so much more in between.

“The man I knew, although a little calmer in lifestyle, was never anything but driven, passionate, and relentless in his vision. He knew with Bullseye that he had a hit on his hands, and my goodness, he was right.

She concluded: “He taught me that you have to believe in yourself, your goals, and your dreams, because if you don’t, no one else will. He leaves behind the most wonderful legacy with Bullseye, and I can only hope I can continue to make him proud by carrying his creation forward.”

Holly Valance poses with Tommy Robinson at the 'Unite the Kingdom' rally on Saturday

Holly Valance has drawn significant public attention after being photographed with activist Tommy Robinson during the large “Unite the Kingdom” gathering in London — an event that attracted a crowd estimated at more than 100,000 people and resulted in multiple arrests throughout the day.

The former Neighbours star was seen placing her arm around Robinson at the event, where she commented on what she described as his “personal turnaround”. Valance, who wore a red cap featuring the slogan “Mega” (“Make England Great Again”), has become a visible supporter of Reform UK and its political platform in recent years.

The 42-year-old actress and singer was among thousands who attended the demonstration, during which police confirmed that 24 individuals were detained for alleged public-order offences. Valance’s involvement comes at a time when her estranged husband, property developer Nick Candy, has taken on a financial role within Reform UK after previously leaving the Conservative Party.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph Australia, Valance described the event as “historic” and suggested it represented a shift in public feeling. She expressed admiration for the crowd’s rendition of the hymn Jerusalem and claimed that millions of people nationwide had shown unity during the weekend gathering. The demonstration, which took place around Parliament Square, included speeches, a heavy police presence and, at times, tense interactions between attendees and counter-protest groups. Between 110,000 and 150,000 people were reported to have been present across central London, while thousands of campaigners advocating for equality and anti-discrimination issues held a separate counter-event nearby.

Tensions escalated when officers attempted to prevent demonstrators from moving toward the counter-protest area. Items were thrown, and several confrontations occurred, prompting more than 100 helmeted officers and mounted police to intervene. A number of officers sustained injuries.Tommy Robinson takes part in the 'Unite The Kingdom' march in Westminster on Saturday

Following the event, Sir Keir Starmer criticised the use of the national flag in ways that, he said, amplified division, and condemned the violence observed during the clashes. He added that the Government would not condone attacks on police officers.

The gathering also saw unexpected appearances from figures who have gained substantial international attention online. Among them was Elon Musk, who addressed the crowd and later joined Robinson on stage for an interview about political issues, public policy and the direction of the country. Several international commentators and political figures were also present.

Valance has been seen at several political events in both the UK and the United States in recent years, including a visit to Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate and a fundraising event in London. She rose to fame portraying Felicity “Flick” Scully in Neighbours, enjoyed chart success with several hit songs and reached the semi-finals of Strictly Come Dancing in 2011.

Her personal life has remained in the public eye following reports earlier this year that she and Nick Candy were separating after 13 years of marriage.

Saturday’s gathering — with its large turnout, strong emotions and high-profile attendees — has reignited debate about political division in the UK. Holly Valance’s presence has placed her at the centre of that discussion, ensuring she remains a topic of national conversation.

The Labour government announced a myriad of measures affecting taxes, household costs and benefits, from income tax thresholds to energy bills. There are also changes to the National Minimum and Living Wage as the legal minimum hourly rate will rise depending on age. The Chancellor also announced that tobacco and alcohol duties will increase in line with inflation.

In summary, Reeves unveiled £26 billion of tax increases after stating she would not return for more after her £40 billion raid last year. After her speech, Reeves also refused to rule out another tax-hiking Budget.

Morgan took to X following the Chancellor’s statement to share a picture of herself holding the infamous red briefcase, accompanied by a savage caption.

He wrote: “Labour’s plan for Britain: Growth DOWN Inflation UP Borrowing UP Taxes UP Debt UP.” He ended with a sarcastic takedown, writing: “Thanks, Rachel.”

Morgan’s followers flocked to comment on the post. One said: “Labour’s plan for Britain: everything up except the things we actually want. Thanks Rachel, my blood pressure is now nationalised too.”

A second added: “Piers nailed it. Growth down, inflation up, borrowing exploding, taxes at a 70-year high, debt still crushing us, and she smiles like she fixed everything. This budget is a disaster for working families. Labour owns this mess now.”

Reeves said earlier today: “I can’t write future budgets, but if you are asking ‘is this a Budget I wanted to deliver today’ well, I would have rather the circumstances were different.

“But as Chancellor, I don’t get to choose my inheritance and I have to live in the world as it is, not the one that I might like it to be.

“And I believe that I made the fair and the necessary choices given the fiscal circumstances.”
