Aitch has broken his silence about a potential jungle romance with Shona McGarty. Speaking after leaving the jungle, he said they bonded over music – but were just friends.

He insisted: “Obviously, I’ve not watched the show, so I don’t know what’s been put out there in any way or anything. But it was nothing like that.”

The 25 year old music artist said that Shona and him were “cut from the same cloth” and have the “same sense of humour.”

He added: “Knowing that she’s trying to come out of the jungle and pursue this music career – and me having a music career – it was just more like, there’s only really me and Martin she can speak to about certain things.

“And I think just because of my age, no one’s going to say that she had a romance with Martin. So unfortunately, I’m the next option. So romantic? No, not at all. Not at all.” Aitch said he was willing to introduce her to some of his contacts in the music industry.

He added: “Yes I definitely will. And that was what most of the conversations were about. I said to her: ‘You sing like a madwoman like, in a good way…..you need to go pursue it. Stop being so scared to pursue it.’

“Because at the start she was singing, and when she finished the song, she just put her hands over her face as if she got embarrassed. And I’m like, ‘You don’t need to get embarrassed. Everyone’s in awe of you when you’re singing.’

“So like, I think, 95percent of mine and Shona’s conversation is literally just about how sick of a singer she is.”

The guessing game began after Aitch confessed his feelings about Shona to Angry Ginge admitting: “I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Shona, me.”

It led to Ant and Dec saying they were desperate for a jungle romance this year on the show.

Shona broke up with her musician fiancé, David Bracken, earlier this year. Insiders say the split is amicable, and he recently wished her all the best for the jungle on social media.

Aitch is also single after splitting with Lois Cottam before going into the Jungle.

Dec previously said he was shell-shocked by Aitch’s comments when watching the scenes shortly before they aired. He said: “This came completely out of the blue this morning.” Ant added: “It’s been a while since we’ve had a proper romance on this show. We’d love to see it….we would celebrate it.”

 

 

Ruby Wax has previously said that Aitch was not Shona’s type. She said: “He’s not her type at all. She said she likes hunky, bigger men so that she feels female, so she wasn’t on the list at all.”

Jamie Oliver has candidly spoken about the health challenges his wife Jools continues to face, describing how her neurodiversity shapes their family life in both beautiful and difficult ways.

Appearing on Davina McCall’s Begin Again podcast, the 50-year-old  celebrity chef revealed that Jools has chosen to stay out of the spotlight but remains the family’s “rock.” He said: “She’s got incredible instinct, she’s incredibly kind, very funny. I love her to bits. I can’t really talk for her, but she has neurodiversities that make her life really interesting and really challenging.”

The couple, who married in 2000 and share five children, have been together since their teenage years. Jamie recalled first meeting Jools at 18, describing her as “beautiful, pure, natural, quirky and clumsy” with a unique sense of style. He laughed about how builders would call out “fashion, fashion!” when they saw her, baffled by her bold outfits.

Despite the struggles, Jamie stressed his gratitude. “Of course there’s positives, but there’s loads of things that, you know – she makes us the way that we are. And I’m very grateful for Jools… and an amazing mum.”

Earlier this year, Jamie also shared that some of their children are neurodiverse, explaining how he and Jools reflect each night on their kids’ behaviour. “We’ve learnt to understand that their behaviour is because they’re seeing things differently,” he said, adding that this awareness has made them “better parents.”

The Olivers, parents to Poppy (23), Daisy (22), Petal (16), Buddy (14), and River (8), continue to navigate their family life with honesty and humour, balancing challenges with deep appreciation for each other.

Using the term “Operation Stop The Boats”, members of the group have been filming themselves 𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 small boats before they are used by migrants to cross the English Channel from France.

Posts on social media show members calling for other British men to join them in France, including making a direct appeal to football hooligans, saying “we need to make a stand”.

In one video message shared this week by a member of the Raise the Colours group – the grassroots movement that has seen flags fixed to lampposts, motorway bridges and roundabouts across England – two men are seen evoking military language and the spirit of the British fight against the Nazis in the Second World War.

Claiming to be recording from the northern French coast, one said: “Just like in the 1940s, we must take a stand, and it starts with the men of England and Britain.”

Making an appeal to “firms” – a phrase that refers to football hooligan groups – the other man added: “Our country is doing nothing. Weak government, weaker borders.

“They are doing nothing, so we need to make a stand, boys. Get the lads together, get your firms together, get the lads in the pub, get the lads down the bars, if you’re talking about it and you agree with what we are doing, give us a hand.”

The Government is under pressure to tackle the issue of migration amid a record number of asylum applications, surging small   boat crossings and protests at hotels housing asylum seekers.

On Monday, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood set out a package of reforms to asylum policies aimed at tackling illegal migration, telling MPs the current situation is “out of control and unfair”.

The latest videos shared by those linked to the Raise the Colours group have separately been referred to as “Operation Overlord”.

Earlier clips showed two men saying they were taking matters of illegal migration into their own hands and filming themselves stamping on and smashing a small  boat’s engine.

In the clips, they refer to themselves as “patriots” and make a number of claims without evidence, such as that they are stopping “rapists and murderers” from “coming to a town near you”.

The flag-raising group, who have a combined 100,000 followers on X and Instagram, also posted a plea on X for donations last week, writing that they are: “STOPPING The  Boats, whether the migrants or government like it or not!”

Two videos from the group have recently been shared to the 1.7 million X followers of Tommy Robinson. The far-right figure and former leader of the English Defence League, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has previously been accused of mobilising football hooligan firms in an attempt to launch anti-Muslim rallies across the country.

Separately, French media reports that the Dunkirk Public Prosecutor’s office has opened a preliminary investigation into “aggravated violence” against migrants by suspected British far-right figures.

One of the details being examined by the French prosecutor is the claim that in September, four men waving British and UK flags verbally and physically attacked migrants on the French coast. It is alleged that they told the migrants they were not welcome in England and proceeded to steal some of their belongings.

The men are not the first anti-migrant figures to travel to France in a bid to take matters into their own hands.

In September, Ukip, Nigel Farage’s former political party, posted a video to their X account showing what appeared to be sleeping migrants in France being woken by people flashing strobe lights in their faces and shouting at them.

Nick Tenconi, Ukip’s current leader, also posted a video captioned: “In Calais hunting for illegal invaders trying to cross into Britain.”

Strictly Come Dancing star Arlene Phillips has emotionally admitted that she “wouldn’t want to go through it” if she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. The 82-year-old BBC star watched her dad, Abraham, suffer with the disease and said that she would make a decision about her own mortality if she ever faced the same diagnosis.

Her father, a former barber, started displaying symptoms of the illness a decade before when Arlene was in her late forties – trying to make tea in the kettle, leaving empty pans on a lit stove, looking confused at his daughter’s home near his flat. She was juggling demanding work on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s revamped Starlight Express in the West End, whilst simultaneously raising two daughters, Alana, now 45, and newborn Abi, now 34. Now, Arlene has voiced her concerns about the disease, disclosing she would consider Dignitas if diagnosed. “My friends and I talk about this a lot. I think if I had Alzheimer’s I’d like to go to Dignitas,” she said. “So many people are against that, but it would be my decision. I don’t ever want my daughters to go through what I went through.”

Arlene looked after her father during his final years and has now revealed the anguish of witnessing her father Abraham deteriorate from Alzheimer’s, passing away at 89 in 2000. She said: “I’ve watched someone go slowly, slowly, slowly from smart, snappy, bright to their every thought vanishing and becoming a non-functioning human being.

“It’s like watching a train going into a tunnel and by the time it emerges on the other side, it’s completely transformed. It’s heart-wrenching to have them gaze at you with no hint of recognition. You wonder, ‘What about all the times you embraced me? When you conversed with me? When you enjoyed me reading to you?’ All vanished, yet someone has to feed you to keep you alive.”

In a conversation with The Times, she shared: “Dad always used to tell me, ‘When I get old, I want to be like an animal, to wander into the forest, lie down and drift off. ‘ But he wasn’t granted that. Before work, during my lunch break and immediately afterwards, I’d dash to Dad’s with his breakfast, lunch and dinner. I attempted to arrange Meals on Wheels but he wouldn’t allow anyone else in.

I’m still in total shock after finding out who has been eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing, just weeks before the all-important final – it’s heartbreaking.

There will likely be a huge backlash to the result when the show airs because everyone I’ve spoken to has told me this person is the celebrity they love watching on this year’s series. Don’t get me wrong, the other person in the bottom two is an excellent dancer and was incredible on Saturday night, but the voted-off star is the one everyone’s been talking about since day one.

While they have been incredible all the way through, they did look tired on Saturday night and appeared as though they didn’t have the energy they’d usually have after working their butt off for months.

Despite the crushing blow for the eliminated celebrity and their professional partner, I am convinced it will actually do wonders for their career in the long run. In show business, you want to be remembered, and BBC viewers will certainly remember this result as it will go down in Strictly history.

It’s a lot to digest, I think, for the fans, but they will continue watching the show despite the result because it’s a Saturday night light entertainment show. The programme has truly loyal fans, as it’s like nothing else on television.

The performances on Saturday night were incredible to watch for different reasons, as the competition is really heating up. Everybody’s loved George Clarke from the beginning. He started well, then went through a real low patch. But he’s really gone up a notch over the past couple of weeks. His Tango last night was fabulous – it was the right music, and everything fell into place.

I’m a big fan of Karen Carney, and her routine was great too, and the backing dancers were integrated in a brilliant way, which enabled her to stand out – and for me, that’s really important.

One thing about Lewis Cope’s dance was that his costume blended in with the backing dancers, so he was a bit hidden. However, he was totally outstanding, despite head judge Shirley Ballas admitting it was not his best dance of the series.

Amber Davies’ routine was perfection – her standard of dancing is just fantastic. She rightly scored the full 40 points with her partner Nikita Kuzmin for Musicals Week.

Meanwhile, Balvinder Sopal has had a mountain to climb since week one, as many people who watch EastEnders associate her with the villain she plays on the soap. The public has never got to know the real Balvinder – they’ve only got to know her BBC character, Suki Panesar. But she’s improved so much over the weeks – her Viennese Waltz last night was beautiful.

The judges are purely looking at technique – and I certainly didn’t know what they were scoring on until I did the programme and came runner-up. But now, having learned about technique, I can see the things celebrities are not getting quite right.

While I can’t reveal who goes ahead of the show airing tonight, all I can say is I am heartbroken because I won’t be able to see them dance for the next two weeks.

However, having been in show business for almost 50 years, this could be a good thing because everyone will remember this elimination and how wonderful this person was.

And who knows, in another few years, they could be a massive star and Strictly will be a faint memory to them.

Kelly admits she is finding it hard not talking to her brother today

Sharon Osbourne has made a rare on-camera appearance to thank I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! viewers for keeping her son Jack in the competition as the family mark late Ozzy’s birthday.

The 73-year-old was filmed on social media last night alongside daughter Kelly, 41. Kelly is currently staying with her mum, and the pair have been tuning in religiously to watch 40-year-old Jack navigating life in the jungle.

Both looked proud as ever – and Sharon made sure fans knew just how grateful the family are for every vote keeping Jack in camp.

Following the latest episode, Kelly and Sharon appeared on Instagram together to thanks fans for voting for him.

Wearing a pale pink jumper, Sharon held her hands across her chest as she stood next to Kelly. Her daughter said: “We just want to say thank you so much for everyone who voted for Jack.”

Sharon then said: “Thank you, thank you, thank you, very much.”

Kelly added: “He’s still in the jungle! Jack is going to be King of the Jungle!”

Correcting her daughter and paying reference to Jack’s new name following a water-themed Bushtucker Trial, Sharon joked: “Jacquaman!”

I’m A Celebrity star Jack Osbourne misses late dad Ozzy’s birthday

Kelly, her partner Sid Wilson and their three-year-old son Sidney have flown to the UK from the US to visit Sharon. Today, they are marking what would have been Ozzy Osbourne’s 77th birthday.

Ozzy d!ed in July this year and Kelly and Sharon are spending the sombre occasion together. Jack, unfortunately, has been forced to miss it – and Kelly is finding it tough.

Alongside a sweet photo of herself and Jack as children, Kelly wrote on Instagram: “I can’t lie, today is really hard without my brother. I would give anything to just be able to talk to him!

“However, he needs to keep kicking butt in the jungle.”

It is not known if Jack Osbourne will reference Ozzy’s birthday on camera in I’m A Celebrity. Earlier in the series, he broke down in tears while talking to Lisa Riley about his rockstar father.

Jack insisted Ozzy would be supporting him all the way if he was alive today. He also admitted in the Bush Telegraph: “I’m still navigating it all. It’s been three nearly four months and so it’s still pretty fresh.”

Jack’s latest Bushtucker Trial

If Jack does choose to mention his dad’s birthday in camp today, viewers will see it play out in tomorrow night’s episode. But tonight, all eyes are on Jack as he faces yet another Bushtucker Trial – this time the ominously titled Dangerous Discoveries.

A first-look clip shows him attempting to keep his nerve while navigating an archaeological dig, all as showers of creepy crawlies rain down on his head. Yuck indeed. And from the teaser alone, it looks like Jack’s having a much tougher time than he did in his previous water-based trial. As Declan Donnelly quips: “He was very good in the water trial. He may have just found his nemesis – sand.”

Eight celebrities remain in the jungle after Kelly Brook’s exit last night. Jack continues to battle on alongside Shona McGarty, Ruby Wax, Angry Ginge, Aitch, Martin Kemp, Lisa Riley and Tom Read Wilson.

Jack’s full trial will air during tonight’s episode, kicking off at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

La Voix has sparked rumours after hinting at a mysterious comeback to Strictly Come Dancing.

The RuPaul’s Drag Race UK favourite participated in the current series of the BBC dance competition but was forced to withdraw prior to Blackpool last month following a foot injury. She said she was “devastated” about her early departure from the competition at the time.

Nevertheless, it appears she has made some form of comeback to Strictly, as she posted an Instagram photograph showing herself behind the scenes with the show’s presenters Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly. The image captured the trio beaming, with Tess and Claudia clasping hands, reports Wales Online.

The photograph revealed that La Voix continues to wear her medical boot, which remains necessary following her metatarsal fracture.

The star provided a health update during a recent appearance on ITV’s Loose Women, explaining to audiences: “I’ve basically got a… I haven’t really told anyone what I’ve done. It’s all been very secretive… I have got a fractured metatarsal.”

 

 

La Voix, who was partnered with professional dancer Aljaz Skorjanec on the dancefloor, continued: “I did two weeks on the show, not knowing I’d broken my foot. I didn’t want to tell anyone. I was in so much pain, but I knew that it might be the end of the line. So I thought, maybe it’s muscular, maybe I’d get over it.”

Despite the disappointment from fans, the TV personality, who was also grieving the recent loss of his legendary father, Ozzy Osbourne, revealed he was ready to be reunited with his family. Just moments before his departure, viewers got a glimpse of how much his loved ones meant as his wife Aree and young daughter Maple made a surprise visit to the camp.

However, it has now been revealed that the reunion had a much deeper meaning for the 40-year-old as he and Aree are expecting their second child together. Jack confirmed the sweet news alongside his wife as they posed for photos with her growing bump in full view. The former reality star gushed: “It’s awesome, I think it’s been partly a healthy distraction, partly healing, probably in that kind of ‘full cycle’ category, in a weird way.”

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, he added: “It’s very much taken energy out of the grieving side of things and parked in a bit more hopefulness. It’s been easy for me, I think it’s been a lot harder for my wife.”

The soon-to-be dad of five revealed that the whole family is excited for the new arrival and confirmed that they had “sort of planned it” the new baby, but the news had come sooner than the pair expected.

“But it’s definitely something that we were wanting to pursue, and somehow it happened, miraculously,” Jack and Aree welcomed daughter Maple in 2022.

In his blended family, the star also shares three children with his ex-wife Lisa Stelly, whom he separated from in May 2018.

During their relationship, they had Pearl, 13, Andy Rose, 10, and Minnie, nine. The former couple sadly lost a baby boy named Theo when Lisa suffered a miscarriage during her second trimester in 2013.

After their divorce was finalised in March 2019, and Jack became engaged to fashion designer Aree in December 2021.

The 40-year-old previously opened up about navigating fatherhood in an interview, in which he spoke on co-parenting with his ex-wife and said that he and Lisa were “doing really well” with it. “It’s all you can really ask for at this stage. It’s great.”

As for his parenting style, Jack added: “I’m a little more structured with my kids than my parents were with me. I won’t take them out of school just to go travel. We do a little bit, but I think structure is healthy.”

He also told People that his daughters are “the most girly girls imaginable,” and that he’s constantly surrounded by all things unicorn and rainbow.
