HEARTBREAKING Jungle: AngryGinge Sobs in His Mother’s Arms Moments After Being Crowned — “I Just Wanted to Make You Proud… I Hope I Did.” As Viewers Break Down in Tears, Calling It “The Most Emotional Finale in Years.”

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star AngryGinge becomes the first social media star to be crowned King Of The Jungle as he beats Tom Read Wilson to win hit show after final pulls in a staggering 13 MILLION votes

The first social media star in the history of I’m A Celebrity has been crowned King of the Jungle.

Morgan Burtwistle, better known as AngryGinge to his five million social media followers, was voted by the public to be the winner of the ITV reality show.

A staggering 13 million votes were cast, the highest on the show in at least a decade.

The 24-year-old, who grew up in a council estate in Salford, Manchester, appeared overwhelmed as he told the show’s hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly: ‘I don’t think I can swear, but I feel amazing. Honestly a dream come true. I didn’t think I could go all this way never mind win. Thank you to everyone who voted.’

Meanwhile, Tom Read Wilson, 39, placed runner-up and Shona McGarty, 34, came in third after three weeks in the Australian jungle.

AngryGinge was crowned King by last year’s winner McFly star Danny Jones.

The social media star said of his experience: ‘I was a massive fan of the show but it was a lot harder than I thought. I reached out to people who had been on it before for tips and clues but no one told me how hard it was going to be.

‘I’m a lot mentally strong than I thought I was. That was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. There were so many days I wanted to throw the towel in. I didn’t do it to become King, I did it for the experience.’

The star was greeted off the I’m A Celebrity bridge by his mother, Michelle, and his older sister, Tasha, who flew out to Australia two weeks ago to support him.

Typically the winner of the show is a household name and AngryGinge is the first social media star to be crowned King of the Jungle.

It’s a sure sign of the times and ITV bosses are said to be ‘thrilled’ with his appearance after he attracted 12 million in consolidated viewers over the first three episodes of the show – a record breaking number for the broadcaster.

Viewers wrote on X: ‘So glad that Ginge won, such an entertainer, but loved Tom and he was such a gracious & deserving runner up’ and ‘Congratulations to AngryGinge #ImACelebrity #king but well done Tom coming 2rd place.’

    ‘Angry Ginge is the king of the jungle for 2025! Who would have thought we’d even see him on #ImACelebrity let alone him winning it!’;

‘Can’t help but admit Angry Ginge is so likeable. Just one of us and living the dream’.

AngryGinge grew to prominence on the live streaming platform, Twitch, on which his five million followers watch him shout expletives at a video or football game for more than 10 hours a day from his bedroom.

He earns £1 million a year on what is known as ‘the Gogglebox of the internet’ but is set to make far more after his jungle stint with ITV bosses, and other major broadcasters, eyeing him up as the future of television.

Tom, meanwhile, said of his journey: ‘I think, historically, I have tendency to be a little bit introspective sometimes and that’s not very good for me.

‘What you had to be in the jungle is with an outward lens because of the people and also because of the nature. Everything you look at and hear is majestic.

‘Your whole focus has to be out and then you sort of forget this corporeal thing and you’re a floating soul. It’s a very nice way to live, but it takes an awfully long time to get used to it.’

The show opened with Shona, 34, pining for Aitch, 25, following his departure.

The former EastEnders star has forged a strong bond with Mancunian rapper Aitch during their three week stay on the long-running show, but his semi-final elimination hinted at something more than friendship.

But Shona described herself as a ‘sister’ to the rapper in her exit interview.

She said of their bond: ‘To be completely honest, when he came in he had this rapper thing going on. But actually underneath it all I could tell he was quite scared of the whole experience, we had a similar upbringing. He was normal and I just felt like an older sister and I wanted to protect him.’

The actress reflected on how the experience has helped ‘heal’ her following the breakdown of her engagement.

Shona split from the Irish musician David Bracken just weeks before entering the jungle.

Speaking about her journey, Shona said: ‘I came in here shaking like a s***ing dog, my anxiety has been up and down for as long as I can remember and it’s been a healing process for me in here. In real life I’m going to handle things a bit more easier for me, I think’.

Shona cried as she was greeted off the bridge by her older sister, Camilla.

Earlier in the show, Shona addressed his shock departure in the Bush Telegraph during Sunday evening’s final, she said: ‘I had to say goodbye to Aitch today… just one more day until I see him again.’

The comment prompted an inevitable wave of speculation from viewers, with many predicting the pair might strike up a romance once Shona leaves the jungle.

Taking to X, one commented: ‘Shona was devastated!’

A second added: ‘The way aitch & Shona hugged… they are SO SWEET!!’

While a third posted: ‘THE AITCH AND SHONA POTENTIAL ROMANCE?! I must know cos they’d be cute af!’ [sic]

It comes after Aitch cleared up what was happening between him and Shona during their three-week stint in the I’m A Celebrity camp.

When asked by the Daily Mail if there was anything romantic between them, he denied it and said: ‘Romantic, no, not at all, she’s a good friend of mine.

‘I just think we had a bond over the music thing, 95 per cent of the conversations we had in the Jungle was literally just about how sick she is at singing.

    Portable speakers

‘I knew that she was trying to come out of the Jungle and pursue a music career.

‘I think this is just because of my age, she had the same conversations with Martin, but no one’s going to say she had a romance with him because Martin is married.

‘So, unfortunately, I’m the next option.’

The rapper revealed that when they return to the UK, he will help introduce Shona to his music contacts.

He said: ‘Most of our conversations were me just telling her she sings so well and that she needs to stop being so scared and pursue singing.’

Fans were convinced there was a spark between the two campmates who were both recently single – Shona having ended a nine-year relationship with her fiance David Bracken and Aitch breaking it off with his girlfriend, Lois Cottam, weeks before the jungle.

During the final, the trio faced their last Bushtucker Trial and secured 12 stars for a farewell banquet.

As they met Ant and Dec at the Bushtucker Trial clearing, they learnt that they would all be taking part in their own challenge to win a starter, main course, dessert and drink for their meal.

Tom took on Bushtucker Bonanza in which he had to eat four dishes to win three main courses for camp and a drink of his choice.

His first dish was a fermented duck egg and scorpion, and in a show first, Tom put the entire fermented duck egg in his mouth.

Ant exclaimed: ‘Oh! We’ve never had that! 25 years and no one’s ever popped it in whole.’

His second dish, which was brand new for 2025, was camel’s brain, this third was a pig’s vagina and his fourth dish was a huntsman spider.

He successfully finished all four dishes, successfully winning four main courses and his drink of choice.

Shona took on Rat Race in order to win all three starters for the group and a drink of her choice.

As she took on her task, she was strapped down inside a tight confined box and had to remove four stars using only her mouth with eight minutes to do so.

Using her tongue to release four stars, she was joined by rats, cockroaches, crickets and mealworms. She won all four stars meaning three starters and a drink of her choice.

Lastly, Ginge took on Helmets of Hell, where he had to put his head into four helmets and his hand in the four boxes below to release each star, with two minutes to win each star.

In the helmets he was joined by mealworms, toads, crickets, cockroaches, lizards, scorpions and snakes.

For his final star he was joined by rats in the handbox and his worst fear, spiders in the head box.

He successfully got four out of four stars winning desserts and a drink of his choice for camp.

That evening, Shona, Ginge and Tom all sat down at the Jungle Banquet where they dined like Kings and Queens.

For their drinks, Shona went for a diet coke, Ginge for a coke and Tom, of course, went for a coupe of champagne.

For their starters, Shona requested prawns pil pil, Ginge went for a double cheeseburger and chips and Tom opted for smoked salmon.

For their main course, Shona opted for boiled bacon and cabbage, Ginge for a huge pepperoni pizza and chicken tenders and Tom for venison with red wine jus, dauphinoise potatoes and broad beans.

Lastly for dessert, Shona went for a chocolate fudge cake with double cream, Ginge went for a huge slice of carrot cake and Tom also opted for chocolate fudge cake.

Throughout the competition it has been between Aitch and his close friend, the Twitch streaming star AngryGinge as to who would come home with the crown.

But it is ITV who is the real winner after a successful series for them with 12million in consolidated viewing figures – a show first – due to their Gen Z star signings.

Network bosses have been ‘over the moon’ that the pair, who share vastly the same fanbase, have helped the network pull off the impossible by luring teenagers back to mainstream television.

Since the launch episode of I’m A Celeb 2025, the programme has seen the number of viewers aged 16-34 reaching a consolidated 2.5million – ITV’s biggest since the 2022 World Cup.

But the success brought about by Aitch and AngryGinge is not just down to their success in the Bushtucker Trials – behind the scenes, it was the battle of the Gen Z influencers who could wield the votes.

Their teams have strived behind the scenes to not only ensure their man wins, but also present the pair, who were friends before the show, as their own people.

“IT’S NOT FUNNY—IT’S VIOLENCE”: Catherine Lowe SPARKS OUTRAGE after publicly SLAPPING Sean Lowe for a commercial, ACCUSED OF ENCOURAGING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE after their kids join the attack on camera

Millions of viewers tuned in to watch Bachelor couple Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici marry in a stunning televised ceremony in 2014. After eleven years of marriage and three children, the couple seems as in love as ever. But in a recent video, she made a violent move against her husband, sparking fan outrage. Keep reading to find out what is going on.

Sean Lowe’s Wife, Catherine, Pops Him In The Face

Sean Lowe took to social media to share an announcement with his followers. He revealed that he and his wife, Catherine Lowe, had launched an offshoot of their furniture company featuring bean bags. The couple launched Home by Sean and Catherine Lowe in 2017. Based in Dallas. Texas, the company offers home furnishings.

The Bachelor star unveiled MoreThanFluff.com, something he said they’d been working on for the last six months. “We’re so stoked to finally launch. We set out to make the world’s most comfortable bean bags,” he wrote in the caption on the Instagram post.

Sean Lowe chose an interesting way to promote the new bean bag line. He made a video address of his “good news,” but his wife, Catherine, smacked him in the eye until he corrected it to “big news.”

One by one, the father of three’s children joined in, hitting their dad right in the face. After each hit, Sean Lowe added a new superlative to the “news.”

Bachelor Fans Blast Her For Violent Act

The Bachelor couple, especially Sean Lowe, regularly posts content that’s supposed to be funny. Usually, their followers laugh along. However, Catherine hitting her husband shocked fans. They called her out in the comments for the violent act.

“I love you guys but This was u comfortable to watch. Joking is fun but hitting in the face is just wierd. Not really funny at all. Try again? Yikes”

“Well, I didn’t watch until the end , promoting physical violence, even for fun is not OK just wanted to let you know since you do have such a big platform”

“Didn’t like this video at all! Why the slapping on the face?! This is not funny!”
“Love you guys, but I thought the hitting was weird”
“Why is this funny? The violence kept me from watching”

The post was clearly meant to be a funny way to promote the new bean bag line. But instead, it triggered many of the couple’s social media followers. Other fans weren’t impressed with the new furniture venture. One fan said the products were way too pricey at $300 or more.

Neither Sean or Catherine has responded to the backlash. Since the post is still up, they don’t seem to regret the violent promotional video. Tell us in the comments if you think the reaction from fans was too sensitive.

  • “I See Paul O’Grady in Him”: Campmates’ Words About Tom Read Wilson Leave Viewers Deeply Moved

“I See Paul O’Grady in Him”: Campmates’ Words About Tom Read Wilson Leave Viewers Deeply Moved

TV star Paul O'Grady passes away 'unexpectedly but peacefully' at the age of 67 - Nottinghamshire Live

There is a moment that happens sometimes on television — rare, quiet, almost unplanned — when the audience suddenly stops watching a contestant… and starts seeing a person. That moment has arrived for Tom Read Wilson.

At first, many viewers thought they understood him. The velvet voice. The theatrical charm. The eccentric elegance. The man who spoke as if poetry lived naturally on his tongue. Some smiled. Some were amused. A few were doubtful. But week by week, as the jungle peeled away comfort, polish and performance, something else began to shine through him — something deeper, softer, and unexpectedly familiar.

And now a question is spreading quietly among viewers:

“When you look at Tom Read Wilson… who do you see?”

For a growing number of people, the answer is the same.

    Paul O’Grady.

Not in career. Not in fame. But in spirit.

One of Tom’s fellow campmates recently described him not as “posh,” not as “eccentric,” but simply as “one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met in my life.” That was the moment many fans say the comparison truly clicked. Because kindness like that cannot be rehearsed. It can’t be edited into a storyline. It reveals itself only under pressure — in hunger, in exhaustion, in fear.

    Tom Read Wilson

And the jungle is ruthless in that way. It strips people bare.

What it has revealed in Tom is not performance, but gentleness.

Campmates have spoken quietly about the way he treats animals during trials, how he lowers his voice instead of raising it, how he notices when someone is struggling before they ever ask for help. One of them joked that Tom apologises to snakes and spiders before touching them. Another said, only half laughing, “He doesn’t just survive the jungle — he blesses it.”

It sounds dramatic. But viewers understand exactly what they mean.

Because what people are responding to is not just his humour. It is the light behind it. That familiar warmth in the eyes. That gentle way of being that never asks to be admired but somehow always is.

Paul O’Grady had that same quiet magic.

    Paul O'Grady - Wikipedia

He could command a room without ever dominating it. He could make people laugh without ever belittling anyone. He could be mischievous and tender at the same time — a rare combination that made people feel safe simply by watching him. And now, many say they feel that same safety when Tom appears on screen.

One viewer wrote, “He doesn’t entertain you. He comforts you.”

Another said, “He reminds me that not everyone on  TV is trying to be loud, cruel or shocking. Some people are just… good.”

In the jungle, where bodies grow weaker and tempers thinner, that kind of goodness becomes even more visible. Tom doesn’t compete for attention. He doesn’t push himself to the front. He fills space without demanding it. He listens without interrupting. And when others falter, he steps in gently, never as a hero — just as a human being.Tom Read Wilson - IMDb

That is where the Paul O’Grady comparison becomes more than sentiment. It becomes a recognition of a rare type of soul.

Both men carry something that feels almost old-fashioned now: a holy gentleness. A kindness that is not loud. A compassion that doesn’t need praise. A brightness in the eyes that suggests life has not hardened them, even when it could have.

A fellow camper was overheard saying, “He reminds me of someone you trust instantly, even when you’ve just met him.” Fans repeated the line online. And soon after, someone added, “That’s exactly what Paul did too.”

The comparison spread not because it was forced, but because it felt true.

Paul O’Grady made people feel less alone in the world. And now, in a strange and quiet way, Tom Read Wilson seems to be doing the same.

In a television landscape full of confrontation, spectacle, and noise, he has become something rarer: a presence that softens rather than sharpens, that warms rather than wounds.

One fan wrote something that captured it all perfectly:

“When I look at Tom, I don’t just see a  TV personality. I see the best parts of a human being — kind eyes, a gentle smile, and a heart that never needs to prove itself. I see Paul O’Grady’s spirit living on in another soul.”

And perhaps that is why, without strategy, without shouting, without scandal, Tom is quietly becoming one of the most loved figures this season.

Not because he tried to be extraordinary.

But because he dared to remain gentle in a world that so rarely rewards it.

The protest was sparked by a sudden government proposal that threatened to reshape lives across communities — a plan seen by many as heavy-handed, out-of-touch, and completely dismissive of local voices. For months, residents had tried to raise concerns quietly; they wrote letters, attended meetings, voiced doubts. But each time they were met with thin reassurances or bureaucratic deflections. That’s when frustration turned to fury — and mobilization.

As rain slashed through London’s grey skies, the protesters gathered at dawn, holding signs that read “Voices Over Veto,” “Communities Matter,” and “No More Decisions Behind Closed Doors.” Some wrapped themselves in raincoats and umbrellas; others wore bright rain gear in defiance — a silent symbol that they weren’t coming to hide. They came to be seen. They came to be counted. And they came to deliver a message: this wasn’t surrender. It was revolution.

    The Moment Everything Changed

Comments - Lessons for protesters from Standing Rock

Footage from the protest shows the crowd surging toward the gates of the government offices. Wet pavement gleamed under streetlights, umbrellas jostled, and voices — thousands strong — rose in unified anger. There were gasps when the first police lines appeared. Some expected fear. Others tension. Instead, the crowd roared louder.

Unexpectedly, the gates opened. Officials emerged, not with batons or tear gas, but with resignation. In that moment, the protest ceased to be just a protest — it became a reckoning.

From Outrage to Action: What Happened Next

Within hours, the original plan — the one that sparked the protest — was suspended. A public consultation was announced. The government, for the first time, seemed to acknowledge: maybe they had misjudged the depth of public anger. In local papers, running editorials howled about the power of “the people’s roar.” On social media, the footage went viral: thousands of shares, tens of thousands of comments, and a sense of unity that cut across class, age, and background.

Residents who once felt invisible now felt heard. Elected officials found themselves scrambling to respond. Journalists flocked. The mood had shifted: from dread, to defiance, to movement. And the energy wasn’t fading. If anything — it felt like the beginning.

Why This Protest Matters — More Than Just a One‑Day Outburst

A clear warning to government: When enough people care — enough people show up — public discontent can’t be ignored. Westminster may be used to polite petitions and anonymous surveys. But it’s never faced thunder dressed in raincoats before.

Community speaking with one unified voice: The protest wasn’t just one demographic or one region. It was grandparents, parents, young people — different stories, same anger, same demand for respect and inclusion.

Proof that modern protest doesn’t need chaos to make a statement: No riots. No broken windows. Just unity, noise, and principles. The message was loud, the intent was clear, and the result was immediate.

The storm passed. The rain subsided. But what remains is far more powerful than any downpour. It’s a reminder that even in a world where systems are designed to suppress dissent, people still hold the ultimate power — their voices.
Because when residents of every walk of life come together, stand their ground, and roar in unison… even “the walls of Westminster” can’t stay silent.

Lindɑ Reynolds is constɑntly being ɑpproɑched by people bɑcking her relentless pursuit of reputɑtion repɑir, even overseɑs, her lɑwyer sɑys.

After the former Liberɑl senɑtor won her epic defɑmɑtion cɑse ɑgɑinst Brittɑny Higgins in August, she pushed ɑheɑd with moves to hɑve her former stɑffer ɑnd husbɑnd Dɑvid Shɑrɑz declɑred bɑnkrupt, in ɑ bid to secure huge dɑmɑges ɑnd court costs.

And on Wednesdɑy, the ex-politiciɑn hɑd her first cɑse mɑnɑgement heɑring in the Federɑl Court ɑgɑinst the Commonweɑlth’s $2.4 million settlement with Ms Higgins.

The pɑyment wɑs over Ms Higgins’ clɑim her former boss mishɑndled her ɑllegɑtion she wɑs rɑped by colleɑgue Bruce Lehrmɑnn ɑt Pɑrliɑment House in Cɑnberrɑ in 2019.

The mishɑndling ɑllegɑtion wɑs ɑt the heɑrt of the defɑmɑtion cɑse, centred on sociɑl mediɑ posts by the couple in 2022 ɑnd 2023.

Ms Reynolds wɑs now feeling “reputɑtionɑlly, very much vindicɑted”, her lɑwyer Mɑrtin Bennett told reporters outside court.

“And thɑt’s reflected in the fɑct thɑt she cɑn’t wɑlk in public without people stopping her ɑnd telling her how much they ɑdmired her tenɑcity,” Mr Bennett sɑid.

“She wɑs overseɑs for some defence mɑtters ɑnd people were uniform in their congrɑtulɑtions to her.

“Now it’s just ɑ mɑtter of seeking finɑnciɑl vindicɑtion.”

The next court heɑring on the bɑnkruptcy bid for Ms Higgins is on November 18 ɑnd December 16 for Mr Shɑrɑz.

No next court dɑte hɑs yet been set for Ms Reynolds’ fight with the Federɑl Government ɑnd the legɑl firm it engɑged to hɑndle the settlement, HWL Ebsworth, while ɑn ɑmended stɑtement of clɑim is lodged.

Ms Reynolds, who wɑs not present in court on Wednesdɑy, hɑs ɑrgued Ms Higgins’ ɑllegɑtions ɑbout her were defensible but she wɑs entirely excluded from the process.

Mr Bennett sɑid the settlement “gɑve rise to ɑ perception thɑt everything thɑt Brittɑny Higgins … (sɑid) ɑbout her wɑs true”.

“So this is the lɑst mɑtter to resolve,” he sɑid.

“They’ll hɑve ɑ period of time until December to work out whether or not they ɑpply to try ɑnd strike it out for summɑry judgment, ɑnd if not, they’ll put on defences … by 6 Februɑry or something ɑlong those lines.

“It’s ɑ simplified clɑim to try ɑnd press it through – essentiɑlly ɑ negligence ɑction.”

On Ms Higgins’ reported clɑims she hɑd no money left, Mr Bennett sɑid he would “deɑl with it ɑt fɑce vɑlue”.

The Federɑl Government is being represented by Ruth Higgins SC ɑnd HWL Ebsworth by solicitor Nɑtɑlie Donnɑn, who both ɑppeɑred viɑ videolink.

Mr Lehrmɑnn continues to mɑintɑin his innocence ɑfter his 2022 rɑpe triɑl wɑs ɑborted due to juror misconduct ɑnd the chɑrge wɑs then dropped.

In ɑ subsequent defɑmɑtion cɑse ɑgɑinst Network Ten ɑnd journɑlist Lisɑ Wilkinson thɑt he lost in 2024, he wɑs found to hɑve rɑped Ms Higgins, bɑsed on the bɑlɑnce of probɑbilities, which is the stɑndɑrd of proof in civil cɑses.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! crowned its 25th winner on Sunday night’s show as Angry Ginge was named the new King of the Jungle. He beat Celebs Go Dating receptionist Tom Read Wilson and ex EastEnders star Shona McGarty to win in the live final. Ginge was handed a flower crown and a wooden sceptre by the reigning King of the Jungle, Danny Jones, after the announcement was made.

But despite taking home the win, Ginge will have to return his floral crown and wooden sceptre before leaving Australia and heading back to the UK. It’ll stay with the production team, ready to be passed over to the next King or Queen of the Jungle in 2026. Ginge will also receive no additional cash prize for winning the show, with celebrities only getting their pre-arranged fee, which Ginge’s reported to be an incredible sum of £100,000.

'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' TV show, Series 26, Show 22, Australia - 07 Dec 2025

The news of needing to return his crown was confirmed by Sam Thompson, who won the show prior to Danny, and revealed on This Morning at the time that he “didn’t get to keep anything”.

He said: “I had to give the sceptre back. I really wanted to bring it through airport security because it’s quite big. But yeah, I don’t have anything to show for it.”

But Ginge said of the experience that he didn’t do it to become King of the Jungle; he said he wanted the experience, as he had consistently watched the show with his family from a young age. His sister, Tasha Burtwistle, previously told the BBC that Ginge being on the show was a bucket-list moment.

She said: “I knew it was on his bucket list, something he never thought he’d actually get to do, so I was just really happy for him.”

Upon winning, Ginge instantly burst into tears and told hosts Ant and Dec: “I feel amazing. Honestly, it is a dream come true.

“I did not think I’d go all this way, never mind win, so thank you to everyone who voted.”

On his last night, Ginge was thrilled to get his choice of meal, which consisted of a Coke, a double cheeseburger and chips, pepperoni pizza, chicken tenders and a carrot cake for dessert.

He told his fellow finalists at the time: “Do you know what makes this even better? The fact that we’ve earned it. We’ve suffered trial after trial, challenge after challenge.”

I’m A Celeb Star Shona McGarty Drops Shock Admission About Aitch In Unseen Moment Fans Weren’t Meant To Hear

Actress Shona McGarty has broken her silence about rumours of a relationship between her and Aitch. The 34-year-old admitted that the 25-year-old rapper was too young for her, and they enjoyed a firm friendship instead.

    Article continues below

Opening up to the Mirror, she said: “Look I’m sure that Aitch would make someone a lovely boyfriend, but he’s a lot younger than me. I only see him as a brother, and I would only protect him as an older sister, and there was nothing romantic between me and Aitch at all.” The guessing game began after Aitch confessed his feelings about Shona to Angry Ginge admitting: “I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Shona, me.”

It led to Ant and Dec saying they were desperate for a jungle romance this year on the show. Shona broke up with her musician fiancé, David Bracken, earlier this year. Insiders say the split is amicable, and he recently wished her all the best for the jungle on social media.

Aitch is also single after splitting with Lois Cottam before going into the Jungle. But Shona says: “Aitch was maybe 10 years younger than me. I mean, he was just like a little brother to me in there. I felt like I wanted to protect him. But also, what I love about Aitch is that he’s into music. So am I, and I think the way that we bonded was through the music. You know, that’s all we spoke about in there.”

She also told how she had “two bad days” in the jungle with her anxiety but that her campmates helped her through it. The former EastEnders actress had been worried that her anxiety might “rear its head” in the jungle. And she admitted: “I had a few bad days in there, I think, like two bad days. But it was very easily sorted, because I spoke to my camp mates, who, you know, were very open with me and understood, and they wanted to understand about anxiety. They just got me through it. Because when you’re in there, you do have a family. Anyone I’ve ever spoken to says that you make such a big family. And I thought that can’t be true, because it’s only a few weeks, but I cannot imagine not speaking to these people again. These are friends for life.”

Her comments about Aitch come as the rapper also said how they bonded over music – but were just friends. He insisted: “Obviously, I’ve not watched the show, so I don’t know what’s been put out there in any way or anything. But it was nothing like that.” He said that Shona and him were “cut from the same cloth” and have the “same sense of humour.”

British vigilantes who spearheaded efforts to fly England flags across the country have launched a new anti-migrant protest – attempting to block illegal Channel crossings.

Using the term “Operation Stop The Boats”, members of the group have been filming themselves slashing small boats before they are used by migrants to cross the English Channel from France.

Posts on social media show members calling for other British men to join them in France, including making a direct appeal to football hooligans, saying “we need to make a stand”.

In one video message shared this week by a member of the Raise the Colours group – the grassroots movement that has seen flags fixed to lampposts, motorway bridges and roundabouts across England – two men are seen evoking military language and the spirit of the British fight against the Nazis in the Second World War.

Claiming to be recording from the northern French coast, one said: “Just like in the 1940s, we must take a stand, and it starts with the men of England and Britain.”

Making an appeal to “firms” – a phrase that refers to football hooligan groups – the other man added: “Our country is doing nothing. Weak government, weaker borders.

“They are doing nothing, so we need to make a stand, boys. Get the lads together, get your firms together, get the lads in the pub, get the lads down the bars, if you’re talking about it and you agree with what we are doing, give us a hand.”

The Government is under pressure to tackle the issue of migration amid a record number of asylum applications, surging small boat crossings and protests at hotels housing asylum seekers.

On Monday, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood set out a package of reforms to asylum policies aimed at tackling illegal migration, telling MPs the current situation is “out of control and unfair”.

The latest videos shared by those linked to the Raise the Colours group have separately been referred to as “Operation Overlord”.

Earlier clips showed two men saying they were taking matters of illegal migration into their own hands and filming themselves stamping on and smashing a small boat’s engine.

In the clips, they refer to themselves as “patriots” and make a number of claims without evidence, such as that they are stopping “rapists and murderers” from “coming to a town near you”.
One video shared by the group (Photo: raisethecolours.org.uk/nstagram)
The flag-raising group, who have a combined 100,000 followers on X and Instagram, also posted a plea on X for donations last week, writing that they are: “STOPPING The Boats, whether the migrants or government like it or not!”

Two videos from the group have recently been shared to the 1.7 million X followers of Tommy Robinson. The far-right figure and former leader of the English Defence League, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has previously been accused of mobilising football hooligan firms in an attempt to launch anti-Muslim rallies across the country.

Separately, French media reports that the Dunkirk Public Prosecutor’s office has opened a preliminary investigation into “aggravated violence” against migrants by suspected British far-right figures.

One of the details being examined by the French prosecutor is the claim that in September, four men waving British and UK flags verbally and physically attacked migrants on the French coast. It is alleged that they told the migrants they were not welcome in England and proceeded to steal some of their belongings.

The men are not the first anti-migrant figures to travel to France in a bid to take matters into their own hands.

In September, Ukip, Nigel Farage’s former political party, posted a video to their X account showing what appeared to be sleeping migrants in France being woken by people flashing strobe lights in their faces and shouting at them.

Nick Tenconi, Ukip’s current leader, also posted a video captioned: “In Calais hunting for illegal invaders trying to cross into Britain.”

“JUNGLE MELTDOWN ERUPTS!” Aitch’s Shock Exit Moments Before the Final — and His Last Whisper to Shona Sends the Whole Nation Into Tears

Aitch Is Brutally Eliminated Right Before the Final as the Top 3 Are Revealed. Aitch pulled Shona into a lingering hug — but it was what he said to her afterward that left fans totally stunned

After three intense weeks in the Australian jungle, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has finally locked in its 2025 finalists — but the road there was far rougher than anyone expected. In a brutal late-stage elimination that left viewers reeling, rapper Aitch was voted out just inches from the grand finale.

The final trio now consists of Shona McGartyAngry Ginge, and Tom Read Wilson, all of whom looked stunned as hosts Ant and Dec announced the result. But no one was more visibly shaken than Shona, who burst into tears the moment Aitch’s name was called. As they hugged goodbye, she told him she couldn’t believe he was leaving, while Aitch tried to lighten the moment, insisting he was proud to have made it this far.

Fans at home weren’t any calmer. Social media erupted within minutes, with one viewer writing that they “fully just gasped out loud” and another demanding to know “how HOW is Aitch not top three?” For many, he’d been the favourite to win — making his elimination the biggest shock of the season.

Earlier in the evening, the campmates had taken on the iconic Celebrity Cyclone, battling tidal waves, flying bouncy balls, and a slippery assault course dubbed by Ant and Dec as “the world’s most expensive slip-and-slide.” Tom Read Wilson — introduced by the hosts as “the sapphire surfer” — slipped spectacularly, sending two stars flying. Shona “the silver songstress” powered through her section with determination, while Angry Ginge sprinted through his with Ant and Dec chanting: “Run, run, as fast as you can, you won’t catch him, he’s the Ginge man!”

Aitch, who retrieved the final star, laughed about the chaos afterwards, declaring, “Cyclone? Completed it, mate.” Shona was still buzzing, calling it “the best day of my life,” even though she would later be devastated by Aitch’s exit.

But in a season full of twists, none landed harder than tonight’s result — the final three are standing, but the shockwaves from Aitch’s departure will echo all the way into the finale.
