Britain Reaches a Boiling Point as Public Outrage Surges and Westminster’s Silence Fuels Even Greater Frustration Across the Country

Britons have been filming themselves travelling to beaches in France and ‘destroying’ small boats – gaining thousands of views in the process

British vigilantes who spearheaded efforts to fly England flags across the country have launched a new anti-migrant protest – attempting to block illegal Channel crossings.

Using the term “Operation Stop The Boats”, members of the group have been filming themselves 𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 small boats before they are used by migrants to cross the English Channel from France.

Posts on social media show members calling for other British men to join them in France, including making a direct appeal to football hooligans, saying “we need to make a stand”.

In one video message shared this week by a member of the Raise the Colours group – the grassroots movement that has seen flags fixed to lampposts, motorway bridges and roundabouts across England – two men are seen evoking military language and the spirit of the British fight against the Nazis in the Second World War.

Claiming to be recording from the northern French coast, one said: “Just like in the 1940s, we must take a stand, and it starts with the men of England and Britain.”

Making an appeal to “firms” – a phrase that refers to football hooligan groups – the other man added: “Our country is doing nothing. Weak government, weaker borders.

“They are doing nothing, so we need to make a stand, boys. Get the lads together, get your firms together, get the lads in the pub, get the lads down the bars, if you’re talking about it and you agree with what we are doing, give us a hand.”

The Government is under pressure to tackle the issue of migration amid a record number of asylum applications, surging small   boat crossings and protests at hotels housing asylum seekers.

On Monday, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood set out a package of reforms to asylum policies aimed at tackling illegal migration, telling MPs the current situation is “out of control and unfair”.

The latest videos shared by those linked to the Raise the Colours group have separately been referred to as “Operation Overlord”.

Earlier clips showed two men saying they were taking matters of illegal migration into their own hands and filming themselves stamping on and smashing a small boat’s engine.

In the clips, they refer to themselves as “patriots” and make a number of claims without evidence, such as that they are stopping “rapists and murderers” from “coming to a town near you”.

One video shared by the group
The flag-raising group, who have a combined 100,000 followers on X and Instagram, also posted a plea on X for donations last week, writing that they are: “STOPPING The  Boats, whether the migrants or government like it or not!”

Two videos from the group have recently been shared to the 1.7 million X followers of Tommy Robinson. The far-right figure and former leader of the English Defence League, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has previously been accused of mobilising football hooligan firms in an attempt to launch anti-Muslim rallies across the country.

Separately, French media reports that the Dunkirk Public Prosecutor’s office has opened a preliminary investigation into “aggravated violence” against migrants by suspected British far-right figures.

One of the details being examined by the French prosecutor is the claim that in September, four men waving British and UK flags verbally and physically attacked migrants on the French coast. It is alleged that they told the migrants they were not welcome in England and proceeded to steal some of their belongings.

The men are not the first anti-migrant figures to travel to France in a bid to take matters into their own hands.

In September, Ukip, Nigel Farage’s former political party, posted a video to their X account showing what appeared to be sleeping migrants in France being woken by people flashing strobe lights in their faces and shouting at them.

Nick Tenconi, Ukip’s current leader, also posted a video captioned: “In Calais hunting for illegal invaders trying to cross into Britain.”

Pete Wicks pours £5M into a dream sanctuary to rescue 13 abandoned puppies from the brink of slaughter — but when he utters one chilling, heartfelt word, the entire room freezes, tears rise, and a nationwide movement for compassion erupts with unstoppable force.

In the glittering world of reality TV, where scandals and spotlights often steal the show, Pete Wicks has always been the wildcard—the tattooed heartthrob from The Only Way Is Essex who traded party nights for paw prints. But beneath the Essex swagger lies a fierce advocate for the voiceless, a man whose love for dogs runs deeper than any scripted drama. In a move that left animal lovers worldwide in awe, Wicks, now a self-made millionaire from his TV empire and bestselling books, stunned everyone by splashing out £5 million on a sprawling dream farm in the English countryside. His mission? To rescue 13 terrified puppies, mere hours from the slaughterhouse, and give them—and countless others—a fighting chance at life.

The story unfolded like a scene from one of Wicks’ own emotional documentaries. It was a crisp autumn morning in rural Essex when Wicks received the desperate call from Dogs Trust, the UK charity he’s long championed. Thirteen mixed-breed pups—barely weaned, shivering in a dingy crate—had been dumped at a notorious puppy mill on the outskirts of London. Bred for profit in squalid conditions, these innocents were slated for the bolt gun at a local abattoir, their tiny lives reduced to a grim ledger entry. “They were skin and bones, eyes wide with fear that no puppy should know,” Wicks later recounted, his voice cracking in a recent interview. With his fortune built from TOWIE residuals, endorsement deals, and his heartfelt book For the Love of Frenchies, he didn’t hesitate. Within hours, the farm was his—a 100-acre haven complete with heated kennels, organic meadows for romps, and a state-of-the-art vet clinic.

But this wasn’t just a  celebrity flex; it was a calculated strike against the underbelly of the pet trade. Wicks, drawing from his 2017 odyssey to South Korea where he helped Humane Society International liberate 170 dogs from a dog meat farm, knew the stakes all too well. There, amid the stench of despair, he’d witnessed horrors that haunted him: cages stacked like prison cells, dogs bred solely for brutality. “I held one in my arms, a Jindo mix like these pups, and promised we’d end this nightmare,” he said. Back in the UK, the puppy farming crisis rages on—thousands of dogs suffer annually in hidden hellholes, pumped full of hormones and separated from mothers too soon. Wicks’ farm, dubbed “Paw Haven,” aims to dismantle that cycle, partnering with rescues to rehabilitate and rehome while funding raids on illegal breeders.

The turning point came during the farm’s grand opening, a star-studded affair buzzing with influencers, vets, and tearful volunteers. As champagne flowed and the 13 pups—now renamed Hope, Valor, and their playful siblings—tumbled across the grass, Wicks stepped to the mic. The room hushed as he shared a raw, unspoken truth from his Korean mission, a single, bone-chilling phrase that echoed like thunder: “Every meal on those tables was someone’s Eric.” Eric, his loyal French Bulldog rescue, the furry anchor who pulled Wicks from personal darkness after a string of heartbreaks and losses. The words hung heavy, a visceral reminder that behind every statistic is a soul like Eric’s—loyal, loving, irreplaceable. Gasps rippled through the crowd; donors pledged double, celebrities vowed campaigns, and the room transformed from celebration to crusade.

Wicks’ act ripples far beyond those 13 lives. Paw Haven will house up to 500 dogs yearly, offering therapy programs for trauma and spay/neuter clinics for strays. It’s a beacon in a world where animal welfare battles corporate greed, inspired by global shifts: South Korea’s 2024 dog meat ban, now under enforcement, and the UK’s push for stricter breeding laws. Yet challenges loom—rising costs, black-market breeders evading crackdowns. “This farm isn’t my trophy,” Wicks insists. “It’s their fortress. And if one whisper can silence doubt, imagine what a roar we can make together.”

Pete Wicks’ journey—from Essex lad to dog-saving dynamo—proves that true power lies not in fame, but in fierce compassion. As the pups chase sunbeams on their new turf, one thing’s clear: in the war for the innocent, Wicks isn’t just fighting; he’s rewriting the ending.

In a dramatic turn of events, Prince Harry’s security status is under review which could open the door for King Charles to finally reunite with his grandchildren Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, who have been living in the US with their parents Meghan Markle and the Duke of Sussex.

The duke went to the High Court earlier this year to try to get his taxpayer-funded police protection reinstated but ultimately lost the case. Since then, Harry has insisted it’s simply too risky for his family to set foot on British soil without proper security measures in place.

Piers Morgan has reacted to the bombshell news as the Uncensored presenter, 60, suggested he “use that ill-gotten cash” to fund his police protection when the duke visits the UK in a five-word put down.

Taking to social media the former Good Morning Britain host reacted to the “breaking news announcement”.

Sharing a headline which read: “Prince Harry ‘wins Government review into demand for 24-hour armed police protection.’”

Piers remarked: “Why should UK taxpayers finance this entitled brat’s security when he does zero public duty for this country?”

The presenter then claimed: “He’s made millions from trashing the Royals/Monarchy – he can use that ill-gotten cash for personal protection.”

Prince Harry has been vocal in recent years about his time as a working royal after he and his wife stepped down from their duties in 2020.

In March 2021, around one year after they left the UK, Meghan and Harry sat down with veteran broadcaster Oprah Winfrey where the couple claimed a member of the Royal Family was “concerned” about how dark their child’s skin would be.

The following year the Sussexes released their self-titled Netflix documentary where they detailed the difficulties they faced as working royals.

Harry’s controversial memoir Spare was released in January 2023, which provided insights to life behind closed doors in the Royal Family and disclosed Harry’s struggles with mental health and grief after the loss of his mother.

UNBELIEVABLE: Inside the friendship between George Clarke and the star of I’m A Celebrity, Angry Ginger, fans delve into their past, revealing shocking truths below.

It could be a huge year for social media content creators

George Clarke is a fan-favourite on Strictly Come Dancing this year, and after his close friend Angry Ginge won I’m A Celebrity, viewers are convinced George will be next.

Angry Ginge and George Clarke both became famous in very similar ways. While George focussed on the TikTok creation of videos, Ginge went down the streaming avenue. But both got their fanbases around the same time. And because of that, they have actually spent quite a bit of time together.

When both were announced to be on the reality TV shows this year, there was a lot of people suggesting they weren’t famous enough. But Angry Ginge’s win proves that reality TV may be entering a new era – one for the social media stars.

Strictly fans predict a win for George Clarke

Strictly Come Dancing fans are convinced George could take home the glitter-ball trophy. And they think Angry Ginge winning I’m A Celebrity is proof.

Ginge is the first social media influencer to win the show. And while some people tried to argue he isn’t a “real” celebrity, many have argued that he is – as celebrity status has changed over the years.

After Ginge’s win, fans are taking it as proof that this year is the social media influencers chance to shine. And that means George’s huge following could actually get him to win the dance show.

Taking to X, fans realised that this is a huge step for the world of social media personalities. And it could actually create a shift for future casting of reality shows – especially as Ant and Dec revealed this was the highest voted-for season in several years.

One fan wrote: “I need everyone who was putting in the energy online telling people to vote for Ginge to also do the same for George on Strictly. We could have a huge year for creators on our hands.”

Another penned: “Just want George to win Strictly now like Ginge won I’m A Celeb. It would be a real smack in the face to the people who say they aren’t famous enough to do these shows.”

“The concept of George Clarke winning Strictly and Angry Ginge winning I’m A Celeb. YouTubers and streamers are taking over,” a third praised.

Another penned: “The fact two streamers could win Strictly and I’m A Celebrity for the first time ever in the same year. Wow.”
George Clarke and Angry Ginge on TikTok live together

How do Angry Ginge and George know each other?

Over the last six years, George has continued to keep up his following, and has even managed to grow it. Nowadays, alongside his social media videos, George also co-hosts the Useless Hotline Podcast, with his fellow influencer pal Max Balegde.

On numerous occasions George Clarke and Angry Ginge have collaborated on videos, and even have been on trips together. And that’s because they have the same friendship circle.

While both George and Ginge were live on TikTok individually, they decided to call each other and have a catch-up. The clip was then posted on fan accounts with many gushing over their friendship.

Then, in another video, George was reacting to what viewers rate his friends – including Ginge, who was rated a 3/10. In the clip, George read comments out loud and said: “Ginge. That’s mean. That is so mean. I get no enjoyment out of that. That’s horrible. Stop clowning on my friends. That is mean.”

Then, a year ago, George and a few of his other social media friends headed on a trip to the North, where some took part in a charity football match. And Ginge took part in it too. In George’s own vlog of the day, and and Ginge met up at lunch, where they were messing around and teasing each other.

While Angry Ginge was in the I’m A Celebrity jungle, George Clarke had been sharing his support for his pal online. And when he won, George shared it on X, and commented: “Morgan [bleep]ing Burtwistle.”

So, it really could be the year for the social media stars. And it’s entirely possible that George could bring home the glitter-ball trophy.

A new era for reality TV indeed!

Labour was dealt a humiliating blow as Good Morning Britain was halted for an urgent news update. Presenter Sean Fletcher shared that the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, has publicly claimed the government is making homelessness worse and has said it needs to be more “radical” to end the issue. Burnham’s remarks came ahead of the launch of Labour’s new strategy to tackle homelessness. Fletcher continued: “3.5 billion pounds will be spent trying to get people off the street and into permanent accomodation.”

He was joined by correspondent Richard Gaisford, who acknowledged how difficult this will be due to the growing number of people who don’t have a permanent home. Gaisford explained that London is the worst place for homelessness in the UK as he continued: “The charity Shelter says that more than 380,000 in England now don’t have a permanent home this Christmas.”

That figure is up eight per cent by last year, with Gaisford revealing that more than 175,000 of those are children.

The ITV star added: “We’re told that 4,667 people are sleeping rough every night. That’s up 20 per cent on last year.”

Detailing the government’s plans to end homelessness, Gaisford went on: “It says 3.5 billion will be used to try and half the number of rough sleepers by the end of this Parliament.”

But in a blistering blow to Labour’s efforts, it is Burnham who’s said the government’s changes to the welfare system is making the system worse.

    Remembrance Sunday Service In Manchester

Andy Burnham has hit out at the Labour government in a new interview with ITV News (Image: Getty)

Speaking to ITV news, he claimed: “The task that we have faced has not been made any easier by the actions of the Home Office in recent times. He singled out Rachel Reeves’ decision to freeze housing benefit levels, adding: “What I’ve seen in my role when those decisions are taken, it just builds the number of families who present as homelessness.”

He went on: “Evicting people with very, very short notice. People who’ve been given settled status are just literally evicted the next day and unsurprisingly, they haven’t got anywhere to go.

“That has been really frustrating. It began under the last government, and this government has made some moves to stop that, but it’s still a difficult, difficult situation.”

BREAKING NEWS: Chris Kamara Breaks Hearts As He Reveals The Cruel Messages That Pushed Him To Finally Speak Out About His Speech Apraxia Diagnosis

Chris went public with his diagnosis in 2022

Chris Kamara has opened up about the cruel trolling he received that led to him having to reveal his speech apraxia diagnosis.

The former footballer, 67, opened up during an appearance on Loose Women earlier today (Wednesday, December 10).

Chris Kamara on speech apraxia diagnosis

Appearing on Loose Women today, Chris opened up about his health diagnosis.

The star, who played for the likes of Brentford, Leeds United, and Sheffield United, went public with his speech apraxia diagnosis in 2022. According to the NHS, speech apraxia is a disorder where “coordinated, voluntary speech movements are difficult to achieve, even when speech muscles are functioning normally”. It can lead to inconsistent or difficult-to-understand speech.

Speaking to Christine Lampard, Coleen Nolan, Myleene Klass, and Jane Moore, Chris spoke about his upcoming tour with Ben Shephard.

The tour will see them discuss their careers and share stories. Chris explained that the idea of a tour was sparked after the duo did a show at the Edinburgh Fringe last year. However, it’s taken him until now to feel “confident” enough to do it, due to his diagnosis.

“The improvement I’ve had throughout the months has been great, so yeah,” he said.

Chris then went on to say how Ben had been such a “massive” support following his diagnosis.

“You realise who your friends are when you’re ill,” he said.

Myleene then asked Chris about his diagnosis, noting that he was a pundit and talked “for a living”.

“My voice, I thought, was me,” Chris said. “An identity. I realise now that it isn’t what I’m about. Because of the support I’d had.

“But that time, when it came around, you feel sorry for yourself. You’re thinking about yourself, solely. Not anybody else. Not the family. Not your friends. You just get immersed in your own pity,” he continued.

“Which is terrible, you know? And now I realise what mental health is all about. I didn’t know then, but now I do.”

He went on to say that his perspective on mental health has changed from his day as a player, when he’d think to those suffering to “get on with it”.

    Chris on cruel trolling

Chris then went on to explain that he began to “go through it” during lockdown, but kept it from his family.

He then said that he went to a hypnotherapist, who urged him to tell his loved ones about his speech problem. However, for four months he refused.

“And then I had a game, Rotherham and Shrewsbury, for Sky, and I was looking at the camera like that [a confused stare], and I couldn’t remember any of the players’ names, and I couldn’t talk about the cross that has just come in and headed into the back of the net. So I looked at my phone, and everybody’s saying, ‘Has he had a stroke?’, ‘What’s up with him?’, ‘Is he drunk?’, you know, something like that,” he said.

“So I thought…I rang my therapist on the way home, and he said ‘Now. Do it now’. Send out a tweet and do it now’. And I was so worried. I left Rotherham and got home 45 minutes later, looked at my phone, and the outpouring of love was incredible,” he then continued.

“It still upsets me now, you know?”

Chris then added that it’s important to ‘accept the person you are now and not crave the person you were before. And then you can get on.”

The synopsis reads: ‘Pete Wicks loves dogs and has spent years working with charities to improve their welfare. There’s one thing that he doesn’t like though… Christmas! Filled with emotional stories, including the urgent challenge faced when a van full of neglected Collies arrives.

Speaking about the upcoming Christmas special, Pete said: “There are a couple of reunions of dogs from earlier episodes. I catch up with the potato pups from series one, I haven’t seen them for a year, and they all went off to different families. “OF COURSE WE ARE STILL TOGETHER”: Joan Vassos OFFICIALLY CONFIRMS she and Chock Chapple are spending an entire month together in New York, DECLARING the purpose of the trip is to TEST THE WATERS to see if they should permanently move in together

After facing persistent rumors that their long-distance relationship had quietly dissolved, The Golden Bachelorette star Joan Vassos has set the record straight with a resounding “OF COURSE WE ARE STILL TOGETHER!” She made the announcement while preparing for a major relationship milestone, officially confirming she and her fiancé, Chock Chapple, are spending an entire month together in New York City.

Joan DECLARED that the purpose of this extended trip—which involves moving her belongings from Maryland—is explicitly to TEST THE WATERS and see if they should permanently move in together and finally secure a shared apartment in the Big Apple.

The New York Milestone: Testing the Waters

The couple, who got engaged in the show’s finale, have maintained separate homes in Maryland (for Joan) and Kansas (for Chock) while frequently traveling to New York City to search for a shared “love nest.” Following fan speculation that the distance and lack of a shared home were tearing them apart, Joan confirmed their new, decisive step.

“We decided that we just wanted to be there to start the whole month of December because it’s just so magical in New York City,” Joan stated in a recent interview.

Crucially, she revealed that she is moving from Maryland with “all [her] stuff” to New York and confirmed their intention to stay there until early January. This extended, temporary residency is the ultimate stress-test: DECLARING the purpose of the trip is to TEST THE WATERS for a permanent move-in.

The Permanent Move: Setting The Stage

Joan admitted the delay in moving was due to underestimating the challenges of renting in New York and their busy post-show schedules. However, she believes the December stay will resolve their ongoing housing search and solidify their future.

“We’re going to be total New Yorkers. We’re just going to walk a lot, we’re gonna go to Central Park… That’s kind of our point of going there, because we want to see if we wanna live there,” Joan explained. “Maybe we’ll find a place.”

This month-long commitment directly addresses the key friction point of their long-distance relationship, signaling a serious and mature move toward combining their lives, but only after ensuring they are compatible in the same city full-time.

Squashing the Rumors: “Of Course We Are Still Together!”

Joan also used the announcement to emphatically squash the recent breakup rumors that ignited after she failed to mention Chock specifically in a Thanksgiving social media post.

“It’s ridiculous. Of course we’re together! We’re going to be together the whole month of December,” she stressed, confirming that she considers Chock “family” and their enduring engagement is stronger than ever.

The couple is intentionally taking their relationship slowly, having already dealt with the devastating split of the first Golden Bachelor couple, Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist, and are prioritizing authenticity over rushing down the aisle.

Joan and Chock are using the magic of the holiday season to find out if their golden romance can survive the ultimate test of full-time, big-city living.

“MEL DOESN’T LOVE PEG BACK”: Cindy Cullers PULLS NO PUNCHES, CONFIRMING Mel Is INDIFFERENT To Peg’s Intense Feeling, EXPOSING The ‘Power Imbalance’ And WARNING Mel Will Eventually CRUSH Peg’s Heart

The dramatic self-elimination of Cindy Cullers from The Golden Bachelor finale—after Mel Owens refused to commit—has given her a unique position as a vocal critic of the remaining couple. Sources allege that Cindy is now PULLING NO PUNCHES, publicly CONFIRMING Mel is INDIFFERENT to Peg’s intense feelings, a stark ‘power imbalance’ that will ultimately doom the relationship.

In explosive post-show interviews, Cindy is allegedly EXPOSING the core truth of their coupling and WARNING that Mel’s lack of reciprocal emotional depth means he will eventually CRUSH Peg’s heart!

The Indifferent Commitment: A Calculated Choice

During her exit from the show, Cindy made it clear that Mel’s unwillingness to commit—even to the idea of a future engagement—was the dealbreaker. Mel told her he needed two years to decide where he was. Cindy is now reportedly using this insight to evaluate his connection with Peg, arguing that his “commitment ring” was a calculated, indifferent choice, not one driven by deep love.

“Cindy is alleging that Mel is INDIFFERENT to the depth of Peg’s intense feelings because he wasn’t able to offer her the emotional security she needed,” an insider close to Cindy revealed. “Mel chose the person who wouldn’t demand a commitment he wasn’t ready to give. He chose Peg by default, and that’s the painful ‘power imbalance’ that Cindy is now EXPOSING.”

During the show, Mel admitted his feelings were “stronger for Peg, much stronger” after the breakup with Cindy, but critics noted he still hadn’t said “I love you” to Peg.

The Heartbreak Warning: Crush Peg’s Heart

Cindy’s warnings stem from her own experience. She felt Mel wasn’t “opening up” or truly “committed,” believing a man who is genuinely smitten should feel “struck by lightning” and “can’t live without” his partner. Mel’s cautious, non-committal language—even to Peg—is viewed by Cindy as a massive red flag.

“Cindy is publicly WARNING Mel will eventually CRUSH Peg’s heart,” the source asserted. “Mel’s integrity is in not leading anyone on, but Cindy believes that his emotional distance will eventually hurt Peg, who seems deeply, intensely in love with him. She feels Peg is accepting a lower level of commitment because she’s afraid of being alone, and Mel is taking advantage of that imbalance.”

Cindy’s analysis highlights the fear that Mel’s history—being burned by a messy first divorce—has left him emotionally unavailable, making his choice of Peg a safe one rather than a passionate one.

    Cindy’s Redemption: The Right Choice

Cindy’s self-elimination is now being framed by her as a demonstration of her own integrity and refusal to compromise on her values. By walking away from a relationship that lacked the emotional depth and commitment she needed, she is positioning herself as the wise one who recognized the coming heartbreak.

Her critique serves as a stark contrast to the happy, unconventional commitment of Mel and Peg, suggesting their measured pace is not maturity, but a sign that “MEL DOESN’T LOVE PEG BACK” with the same fervor.

Cindy Cullers is not holding back, and her persistent warnings about Mel and Peg’s long-term compatibility are keeping Bachelor Nation on high alert for the next chapter of their “golden” romance.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. Reveals Plans for Second Vasectomy After Reversing It for Baby No. 4

    Keeping it real.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham Luyendyk got engaged on Season 22 of The Bachelor. Since then, they’ve tied the knot at Maui’s Haiku Mill in a stunning ceremony and welcomed four children: Alessi, twins Senna and Lux, and their latest addition, Livvy.

If you’ve been following the Luyendyk family, you’ll remember that Arie previously had a vasectomy, and the couple shared that they were done expanding their family after three kids.

However, earlier this year, he revealed that he had the procedure reversed, and in March, the two announced they were expecting baby number four.

Now, Arie has shared on social media that he’s planning to undergo another vasectomy.

In an Instagram clip, the former Bachelor is seen calling a doctor’s office with the caption “Making THAT call for the third time … Need a punch card” written above him.

During the call, Arie explained that he needed to schedule yet another vasectomy. With a grin, he repeated, “Snip snap, snip snap,” while Adele’s “Hello” played in the background.

Once the appointment was confirmed, he said, “sounds good,” and captioned the post, “She’s probably heard it a thousand times lol.”

Fellow Bachelor Nation stars, including Ashley Iaconetti and Raven Gates, shared their love and laughter in the comments.

We love how open and honest Arie is and we adore getting to watch their sweet family grow.

Congratulations again on baby Livvy, and best of luck with vasectomy number two!
