“THE COMEBACK ERA BEGINS”: Chris Harrison OFFICIALLY Unveils His New Project, Recruiting Famous Former Bachelor and Bachelorette Leads in a Bold Power Move That Shakes the Franchise

The most dramatic announcement in reality TV history has finally arrived, and it didn’t come from a rose garden. Chris Harrison, the long-time face of The Bachelor who exited the franchise in 2021, has officially unveiled his “Next Chapter.” After years of silence and a quiet move to Austin, Texas, Harrison is returning to the screen with a project that is being described as a direct challenge to the very empire he helped build.

Partnering with Dr. Phil McGraw’s Merit Street Media, Harrison is not just hosting; he is executive producing a massive multi-show deal that aims to “flip the script” on the reality dating genre. The crown jewel of this deal is a new reality dating series that reportedly features a “Power Roster” of former leads who are ready to speak their truth.

Recruiting the ‘Ex-Leads’ for a New Vision

In what many are calling a strategic strike against his former network, Harrison has reportedly been in talks with several iconic former Bachelor and Bachelorette leads to join his new venture. While specific names are being kept under wraps for a big reveal event, the project is rumored to involve these alumni in mentorship and advisory roles, providing a level of unfiltered reality that the original franchise typically edits out.

The goal of the project is to create a transparent dating experience. Harrison has teased that for years he called seasons “the most dramatic ever,” but with this new project, those words will actually ring true. By bringing in seasoned veterans who know the pitfalls of televised love, Harrison is positioning his new show as the grown-up alternative to the influencer-heavy seasons of the current Bachelor era.

The Merit Street Media Power Move

The comeback is anchored by a two-pronged approach at Merit Street Media’s new state-of-the-art studios in Dallas. Harrison will co-host a weekday morning talk show alongside his wife, former ET correspondent Lauren Zima, designed to be a fun, lighthearted look at entertainment and relationships.

Additionally, the untitled dating series is being produced in Harrison’s hometown crowd of Texas. Dr. Phil himself has promised the format is so novel and so different that viewers will become addicted within a week. Harrison is also contributing to Dr. Phil Primetime, where he will lead penetrating field work into romance scams and catfishing, using his two decades of relationship expertise to expose the darker side of modern dating.

A Franchise in the Rearview Mirror

While Bachelor Nation remains loyal to its roots, Harrison made it clear in recent conversations with alumni that he has no intention of looking back. When asked if he would ever return to host the original show, he gave a firm refusal, stating that he would not go back but instead move forward.

The industry reaction has been electric. Critics are noting that Harrison’s move to a new network allows him to operate without the constraints of a traditional network, potentially allowing for the raw, unfiltered drama he has been hinting at since his departure. By taking the “Bachelor King” title to a new castle, Harrison is proving that the man, not just the show, was the draw for millions of fans.

    The Texas Takeover

The decision to film and produce in Dallas and Austin is a deliberate move away from the Hollywood machine. Harrison has described Austin as the “new Hollywood,” citing the influx of tech, music, and entertainment talent as the fuel for his creative fire. He feels that the energy in Texas is palpable, providing the perfect backdrop for a comeback that prioritizes an honest, open heart and mind over scripted tropes.

“The hiatus served its purpose, but the fire is back,” a source close to Harrison’s team shared. “He’s not just returning to TV; he’s building a new house. He knows what the audience missed, and he’s bringing the heavy hitters with him to make sure this is the most watched comeback in reality history.”

The 68-year-old Thorn Birds star took to Instagram last month to thank customers for supporting the initiative throughout 2025. Rachel runs the beef cattle farm in Australia alongside her husband Bryan Brown, 78, whom she married in 1983 just months after they first met while filming the iconic mini-series The Thorn Birds.

The couple famously portrayed husband and wife Luke O’Neill and Meggie Cleary on screen, and went on to welcome three children — Rosie, 42, Matilda, 39, and Joe, 34.

But while promoting her farm work, Rachel was stunned by the cruelty of some responses to her post.

“I read she’s 68. Looks way older! I’m 62 and can’t believe she’s only a few years older than me,” one commenter wrote. Another added: “OMG what the hell happened to u? U were so pretty???”

A third claimed her appearance was the result of “years of neglect”.

However, many fans rushed to her defence, with one writing: “For god’s sake, horrible comments – she was, is beautiful and doing an incredible job.”

Responding directly, Rachel revealed she felt nothing but sympathy for those who attacked her looks.

“Thanks, you dear lady, coming to my defence,” she replied.

“I just feel sorry for those poor souls who fear ageing so much. They will learn that it’s ultimate freedom as a woman to let youth and beauty go.

“It was lovely while it lasted, but there’s so much more to life. You can’t know its pleasures until you get there.”

Rachel has long been candid about both life and love. Speaking in 2019, she reflected on the chemistry between her and Bryan while filming The Thorn Birds.

“He had nice pecs. I mean, you know, it’s pretty chemical, isn’t it? It’s pretty basic,” she admitted. “There’s not much thought goes into it. I fancied him. That was about it.”

When asked who made the first move, she laughed: “He was slow as a wet week. Really took forever. I think I probably did.”

“I Don’t Know How to Go On Without Her…” – George Moran Breaks His Silence After the De-ath of Wife Tatiana Schlossberg, Left Raising Two Young Children

The doctor widower of JFK’s granddaughter Tatiana Schlossberg faces bringing up two young children alone after her tragic death from blood cancer aged just 35.

George Moran was praised by his late wife in a soul-baring New Yorker essay last month revealing her terminal diagnosis and must now juggle his grief, a demanding job and caring for his three-year-old son Edwin and one-year-old daughter Josephine.

‘Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts,’ a tribute from George, his children and other Kennedy family members read in an Instagram post that announced Tatiana’s death on Tuesday.

Just last month, Schlossberg revealed in a candid essay for The New Yorker – published on the 62nd anniversary of her grandfather’s assassination – that she had been given a year to live.

In the piece, Schlossberg praised Moran for his support throughout her treatment, writing: ‘George did everything for me that he possibly could.

‘He talked to all the doctors and insurance people that I didn’t want to talk to; he slept on the floor of the hospital; he didn’t get mad when I was raging on steroids and yelled at him that I did not like Schweppes ginger ale, only Canada Dry.’

She added, ‘He would go home to put our kids to bed and come back to bring me dinner. I know that not everyone can be married to a doctor, but if you can, it’s a very good idea.

‘He is perfect, and I feel so cheated and so sad that I don’t get to keep living the wonderful life I had with this kind, funny, handsome genius I managed to find.’

In an essay announcing her diagnosis, Schlossberg praised her doctor husband, George Moran (left), 36,  for his support throughout her treatment

Schlossberg was the daughter of former US Ambassador Caroline Kennedy, JFK’s only surviving child, and designer Edwin Schlossberg.

She studied at Yale for her undergraduate degree, where she met her future husband, Moran, now an attending urologist at Columbia University.

Schlossberg later earned a master’s degree in United States history from the University of Oxford and pursued a career as a journalist.

The couple married in 2017 at the Kennedy compound on Martha’s Vineyard, with former Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick officiating the ceremony.

They lived in a $7.68 million apartment in New York City’s Upper East Side, but in Schlossberg’s New Yorker essay, she revealed she spent much of the last year of her life in and out of the hospital.

Schlossberg said she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, a type of blood cancer, in May 2024.

Doctors only found the disease through routine blood tests after she gave birth to her second child.

In her piece, Schlossberg said the diagnosis came when a doctor noticed an imbalance in her white blood cell count.

‘A normal white-blood-cell count is around four to eleven thousand cells per microliter. Mine was a hundred and thirty-one thousand cells per microliter,’ she wrote.

‘It could just be something related to pregnancy and delivery, the doctor said, or it could be leukemia,’ she recalled.

Schlossberg was eventually diagnosed with a ‘rare mutation called Inversion 3’ which ‘could not be cured by a standard course.’

Schlossberg said she was bewildered by the news, and said despite being nine months pregnant, she was routinely exercising and ‘didn’t feel sick.’

‘I did not – could not – believe that they were talking about me. I had swum a mile in the pool the day before, nine months pregnant. I wasn’t sick. I didn’t feel sick. I was actually one of the healthiest people I knew,’ she wrote.

Schlossberg said she spent five weeks at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital after giving birth, before she was transferred to Memorial Sloan Kettering for a bone-marrow transplant.

She then underwent grueling chemotherapy at home, and in January, she joined a clinical trial of CAR-T-cell therapy, a type of immunotherapy against certain blood cancers.

In a devastating blow following the news, Schlossberg said she was eventually told by doctors that she had just a year left to live.

Schlossberg wrote in her essay: ‘For my whole life, I have tried to be good, to be a good student and a good sister and a good daughter, and to protect my mother and never make her upset or angry.

‘Now I have added a new tragedy to her life, to our family’s life, and there’s nothing I can do to stop it.’

Schlossberg’s tragic death is the latest hammer blow for her mother Caroline, who has been beset by a series of horrific tragedies over the course of her life.

Her father, President John F. Kennedy, was assassinated in Dallas in November 1963, five days before Caroline’s sixth birthday.

Five years later Caroline’s uncle Robert Kennedy was assassinated in Los Angeles.

In 1994, Caroline’s mother Jacqueline Kennedy-Onassis – the former First Lady of the United States – died of lymphoma at the age of sixty four.

And in 1999 Caroline lost her only sibling, John F. Kennedy Jr.  JFK Jr, also known as John John, crashed his plane into the Atlantic Ocean off Martha’s Vineyard.

The accident also killed his wife Carolyn Besette and Carolyn’s sister Lauren Bessette.

Caroline has been married to Edwin Schlossberg since 1986 and has two other children, 37-year-old Rose and 32-year-old Jack.

‘I Haven’t Told My Emmerdale Mum I’m Pregnant’ — Heartbreak as Sammy Winward’s Estranged Daughter Mia Keeps Life-Changing Secret After OnlyFans Row

Emmerdale star Sammy Winward's estranged daughter Mia is pregnant – but mum doesn't know

Emmerdale icon Sammy Winward is still in the dark as her daughter Mia Winward-Dunn reveals she is expecting her first baby — after two years of painful silence between mother and child.

Mia Winward-Dunn has announced that she is pregnant with her first child — but in a cruel twist, the 20-year-old has not shared the news with her famous mother, Emmerdale star Sammy Winward, or her father, former footballer David Dunn.

The OnlyFans model revealed the bittersweet update today as she showed off her blossoming baby bump, admitting that the moment should have been filled with joy — but is instead clouded by the fact she has been estranged from her parents since summer 2024.

Sammy and Mia haven't spoken since 2024

The heartbreaking rift erupted when Sammy, best known for playing Katie Sugden in the ITV soap, reportedly cut ties with her daughter over Mia’s decision to create adult content online. The family have not spoken in nearly two years.

Mia quyết định ngừng tạo nội dung cho OnlyFans ngay khi biết mình mang thai.

💔 “I Haven’t Reached Out to Them Yet”

Opening up about why her parents remain unaware of her pregnancy, Mia said:

“I haven’t reached out to them yet and they don’t really know how to contact me. I am emotionally vulnerable while I’m pregnant and I really don’t want a big, stressful situation.”

The young mum-to-be admitted she is longing for moments she should be sharing with her mum — like shopping for baby clothes — but fears reopening wounds that are still raw.

Sammy Winward đã nói chuyện với con gái mình từ năm 2024.

    👶 A New Life, A New Direction

Mia has also confirmed she has now officially quit OnlyFans, revealing she stopped creating content the moment she discovered she was expecting.

Once dubbed a ‘party girl’, she now lives a quiet rural life in the Lake District with the father of her unborn child — a partner she has been with for a year but has chosen to keep out of the spotlight.

Despite her fallout with her parents, Mia insists she does not regret her OnlyFans career, saying it gave her “the best year or two of my life” and allowed her to travel the world and work with incredible people.

🗣️ Painful Words That Still Linger

The feud cut deeply, with Mia previously revealing her dad once branded her a “w***e” over her decision to join the adult site — something that still haunts her.

Now carrying her own child, she says the situation has forced her to reflect on the bond between parent and child:

“Now that I have my own baby inside me, I just couldn’t imagine not speaking to my child.”

    🕊️ Hope for Healing?

Although the relationship remains fractured, Mia has hinted she is ready to rebuild bridges — admitting there is still “a lot to forgive” and that the healing process has barely begun.

She has also revealed there is one family member she remains in contact with, though she has chosen not to name them.

What should be one of the happiest chapters of her life is unfolding in silence — without her mum knowing she is about to become a grandmother.

And for fans of Emmerdale, it’s a reminder that behind the glamour of fame lie family stories far more complicated than anything seen on screen.

Owen Cooper’s teary-eyed co-star Stephen Graham and proud dad Andy watched on as the teen made history at the Golden Globes on Sunday.

Owen, 16, scooped the gong for Supporting Actor at this year’s star-studded awards – in the midst of studying for his GCSE exams.

The win also makes him the second-youngest male Globe winner of all time, behind The Champ star Ricky Schroder, who won the new star of the year award in 1980 at nine years old.

As he took to the stage to accept the award, Owen reflected on his ‘incredible journey’ to the packed room of Hollywood A-listers.

He said: ‘Standing here at the Golden Globes. Wow. It does not feel real whatsoever. What an incredible journey me and my family have been put through, we are forever grateful.

‘What started off as something I thought I might be OK at, I might be awful, I took a risk and went to drama classes, I was the only boy there, it was embarrassing. But I got through it and I’m still very much an apprentice, still learning every day from the people in front of me who inspired me, I wouldn’t be here without you guys.

He also showered praise on his wife Anna Walters, who also worked on Adolescence as both an actress and executive producer.

‘I’ve said it before, but you saved my life. You saved my life,’ Graham said touchingly from the stage. ‘And to my two beautiful children, Grace and Alfie, I love you to the moon and back forever.’

He also spared warm words for ‘my dad, my pops, my hero, and I would just like to dedicate this particular award to my mom and all my friends and family, you all know exactly who you are. Without you, none of this is possible.’

Supporting actress Erin Doherty also took home gold, dedicating her victory in part to therapists and earning a round of applause from the audience for doing so.

‘I didn’t wanna assume, but I feel like we all know, go to therapists,’ she said. ‘I just think life can be tough, mental health is everything, so thank you therapists, and it was an honour to play one. Thank you so much.’

Adolescence also triumphed in the highest category for which it was eligible – Best Limited TV Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for TV.

Elsewhere, Timothee Chalamet has soared over Leonardo DiCaprio – who stars in One Battle After Another – as the betting favorite to win the coveted Best Actor Oscar as he earned the top honor at the Golden Globe Awards 2026 for Marty Supreme (directed by Josh Safdie).

Before Award season it was 51-year-old DiCaprio who was the odds favorite to take home the coveted gong, but now Chalamet is expected to win the top acting prize at March’s Academy Awards according to regulated exchange and prediction market Kalshi.

However, DiCaprio’s flick One Battle After Another (directed by Paul Thomas Anderson) did earn the last laugh at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, on Sunday night as the film not only triumphed over Chalamet’s project but also beat out Blue Moon, Bugonia, No Other Choice, and Nouvelle Vague for Best Picture – Comedy Or Musical.

One Battle After Another was the most awarded film of the night with four but will no doubt face stiff competition in the Oscars race from Hamnet (directed by Chloe Zhao) as it earned the last award of the night in the Best Picture – Drama category over Frankenstein, It Was Just An Accident, The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value, and Sinners.

On the television side, it was The Pitt (created by R Scott Gemmill), The Studio (created by Evan Goldberg, Alex Gregory, and Peter Huyck), and Adolescence (created by Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne) which earned wins in the drama, comedy or musical, and limited series categories, respectively.

Meanwhile, 30-year-old Chalamet surely had tongues wagging as he barely acknowledged girlfriend Kylie Jenner during his acceptance speech for Marty Supreme.

Timothee Chalamet has soared over Leonardo DiCaprio - who stars in One Battle After Another - as the betting favorite to win the coveted Best Actor Oscar as he earned the top honor at the Golden Globe Awards 2026 for Marty Supreme (directed by Josh Safdie)

Timothee Chalamet has soared over Leonardo DiCaprio – who stars in One Battle After Another – as the betting favorite to win the coveted Best Actor Oscar as he earned the top honor at the Golden Globe Awards 2026 for Marty Supreme (directed by Josh Safdie)

Before Award season it was 51-year-old DiCaprio who was the odds favorite to take home the coveted gong, but now Chalamet is a massive favorite to win the top acting prize at March's Academy Awards according to regulated exchange and prediction market Kalshi

The French-speaking actor had another major awards show moment as he earned Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy and abruptly ended his speech by saying: ‘To my parents and partner, I love you. Thank you so much.’

It was noticeably a much more muted acknowledgement for Jenner, 28, as he boldly declared her love for her at last week’s Critics Choice Awards 2026.

Chalamet beat out an impressive field led by Leonardo DiCaprio for One Battle After Another as the field also featured: George Clooney – Jay Kelly, Ethan Hawke – Blue Moon, Lee Byung-Hun – No Other Choice, Jesse Plemons – Bugonia.

One Battle After Another led all winners with four including the aforementioned Best Picture – Comedy Or Musical gong along with Best Director and Screenplay for Paul Thomas Anderson and a surprise Best Supporting Actress win for Teyana Taylor.

One Battle After Another has already had a very successful Awards Season 2026 run but will face a formidable opponent in Hamnet – starring Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal – which earned the top prize Best Picture – Drama.

Buckley earned one of the top acting gongs of the night as she earned Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture — Drama.

The 36-year-old Irish actress triumphed over an A-list field including: Jennifer Lawrence – Die, My Love, Renate Reinsve – Sentimental Value, Julia Roberts – After the Hunt, Tessa Thompson – Hedda, and Eva Victor – Sorry, Baby.

Adolescence swept their categories as it finished the night winning Best Limited TV Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for TV over: All Her Fault, The Beast in Me. Black Mirror, Dying for Sex, and The Girlfriend.

Noah Wyle kept up his winning ways after winning at last week’s Critics Choice Awards 2026 as he was earned Best Performance by an Actor in a TV Series – Drama for The Pitt (created by R Scott Gemmill).

Wyle also led the beloved HBO show to the top television honor as The Pitt was honored with Best TV Series – Drama.

Another big winner was The Studio as it earned Best TV Series – Musical or Comedy in addition to a Best Performance by an Actor in a TV Series win for Seth Rogen.

Fame-ily Secrets Exposed — Ryan Thomas Hits Back At ‘Nepo Baby’ Claims About Daughter Scarlett, Opens Up On Hidden Father’s Day Heartache… And Reveals Why He Still Hasn’t Married Lucy

Collage of a family with three young children.

Ryan Thomas has spoken candidly about his “biggest worry” as a dad — and shut down claims that his teenage daughter Scarlett has had an easy ride into showbiz thanks to her famous family.

The Coronation Street legend, 41, is father to three children: 16-year-old Scarlett, whom he shares with ex-partner and fellow Corrie star Tina O’Brien, plus Lilah, three, and Roman, five, with fiancée and former TOWIE favourite Lucy Mecklenburgh.

But don’t call them a blended family.

“We’re just a solid family, and that’s how it will always be,” Ryan insists.

After playing Jason Grimshaw on Corrie for 16 years, winning Celebrity Big Brother in 2018 and dazzling fans on last year’s Dancing On Ice, Ryan says fatherhood is the role he’s proudest of.

“When I sit round the table with all my kids and Luce, I think, ‘I made this.’ That’s when I really appreciate what I’ve got,” he says.

Despite joking he will never have another child, Ryan admits Scarlett is now his biggest concern.

“I don’t wake up with her every morning or know what she’s doing,” he explains, adding that moving the family back to Manchester earlier this year was all about being closer to her.

“When we lived in Essex, she was always coming down at weekends, but that stopped as she got older. You reach that age when friends become more important than parents — and I really missed the day-to-day stuff.”

Scarlett landed her first major TV role at just 14, starring as Izzy Charles in BBC drama Waterloo Road alongside her uncle Adam Thomas — sparking whispers that she’s a so-called “nepo baby”.

Ryan is having none of it.

“Everyone thinks she gets a lift up from family, but she worked damn hard to get that job,” he says firmly.
“She went through the same audition process as everyone else — she didn’t get a free ride.”

With more than 900,000 followers on the family’s viral TikTok account, @Thethomasfam__, Ryan admits there are now “conversations” about a possible family reality show.

“People keep saying we’re the UK Kardashians,” he laughs. “It wasn’t the plan — but now TV production companies are getting in touch.”

But behind the social media smiles lies deep-seated heartache.

Ryan became visibly emotional as he spoke about his father, ’70s soul singer Dougie James, who died suddenly in November 2020.

“I miss him every day,” he admits.
“I’ve got his ashes in my living room — he watches me every night. I can’t bring myself to bury him yet.”

His dad left the family when Ryan was just 12, leaving him to help raise younger brothers Adam and Scott.

“I was waiting for him to come back every day,” Ryan recalls quietly.
“That experience made me the father I am today.”

Despite getting engaged to Lucy in 2019, the couple are still no closer to setting a wedding date.

“We’re always renovating or moving,” he explains. “We are having the conversations — it will happen — but right now, life is just busy.”

The pair make time for regular date nights and even plan child-free holidays, but for Ryan, Father’s Day is about one thing only.

“As long as I’m sitting round the table with my family, that’s all that matters to me.”

And this year, he says proudly, he even gets to show off his two youngest kids on the front of Fabulous magazine.

“How cool is that?” he grins.

“A SURGICAL STRIKE ON HER EX”: Juliana Pasquarosa Jet-Sets Across the Globe With New Flame, Unleashing a Lethal Message to Grant Ellis by Vowing to Never Look Back at Their ‘Rotting’ Romance

Juliana Pasquarosa has moved on with a new beau following her split from Bachelor Grant Ellis.

On Sunday, January 4, Pasquarosa, 29, posted a TikTok video of herself lounging and drinking by the pool before the camera flips to show her new boyfriend from a distance looking out at the ocean.

“I said I needed to escape seasonal depression so he flew me to Florida & took me to the spa at the St. Regis. Never settle ladies,” The Bachelor alum wrote on the text of the video. In the caption, Pasquarosa also added, “MANifesting my dream life bb 🫶🏻.”

Pasquarosa appeared on Ellis’ season 29 of The Bachelor, which aired in January 2025. In the finale, Pasquarosa ended up accepting the proposal from Ellis, 32. Pasquarosa and Ellis announced their split in June 2025.

“This is one of the harder things I’ve had to write, but I want to share it honestly. Juliana and I have decided to end our relationship,” Grant wrote via Instagram Story at the time. “We both gave this our best and poured a lot of love into each other, but after a lot of deep conversations, we’ve come to the understanding that we’re simply not the right fit long term.”

Pasquarosa, for her part, shared a statement on her own social media account, noting that the duo still plan to “cheer each other on” from “different places.”

“It’s a gift to find someone who sees the world in a way that resonates with you, while also encouraging you to grow. I’ve been grateful to share that experience with Grant,” she said. “Marriage is a commitment, and it’s one we both still believe in deeply. After a lot of honest conversations and reflection, we’ve come to the decision that this chapter of our lives is meant to continue on separate paths. We shared something meaningful, navigating a unique journey side by side [and] learning, growing and showing up for each other the best we knew how. While this isn’t the ending we once imagined, it’s one filled with mutual respect, care and hope for what’s ahead.”

Nearly six months after announcing their split, Pasquarosa revealed that leading up to the finale there were “words exchanged” between the pair that made her feel “completely alone and isolated.”

“His mental headspace was my top concern because I cared about him and I wanted to make sure he was OK. He was getting a lot of backlash,” Pasquarosa explained on a December 2025 episode of the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, noting that she was upset about how he “handled” runner-up Litia Garr’s claim on After the Final Rose where she claimed Ellis told her he should “stop the show” early because she was his No. 1.

Days after their fight following the finale, Pasquarosa revealed that Ellis “game-planned” ways for them to announce their breakup.

“I was like, ‘That is how we are going to start this day and have this conversation?’” she recalled. “After everything I felt like I did for us, and putting myself on the backburner, it’s back to optics. It’s back to what people are going to think. And not about us and our relationship. It’s what the outside world thinks and I couldn’t handle that anymore.”

Although Pasquarosa said she and Ellis don’t speak anymore, she did share in December 2025 that she started seeing someone new.

“It’s new, but it’s fun and it’s flirty and I like that,” she gushed during the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast. “I think that coming out of that, it was so hard that I think I’ve been taking things really, really slow again. … So, I think now I was like, ‘Let me just give this guy a shot.’ He’s blown me up for, like, three straight months nonstop, and I’ve been ghosting him, and I was like, ‘You know what? Screw it. You’re cute.’ So, we’re going to hang out.”

“MONEY TROUBLES BEHIND THE ROSES?”: Shocking Signs Suggest Joey Graziadei May Be STRUGGLING Financially After The Bachelor

Joey Graziadei got engaged to Kesley Anderson at the end of The Golden Bachelor season 28, but there are signs he’s having financial problems. Joey, a 28-year-old tennis professional, was introduced to 32 highly eligible single women at the start of the season. This was historic, as it was the highest number of women to participate in the long-running series in a season. After dating all 32 women, visiting several hometowns, and meeting multiple families, Joey ultimately decided to give his final rose to Kelsey, a 25-year-old junior project manager.

Since the show filmed many months before it aired, Joey and Kelsey had to keep their relationship secret for a long time. When The Bachelor season 28 finale aired, Joey and Kelsey were able to go public with their relationship. They’ve been appearing on podcasts, getting photographed for magazines, and posting about travel adventures on social media. The happy couple walked off into the sunset hand-in-hand, and they truly do appear to be deeply in love. As the post-show whirlwind surrounding the newly engaged couple continues to swirl madly around them, there are signs that Joey is having financial problems.

How Does Joey Graziadei Make A Living?

    He’s A Tennis Pro

According to Joey’s LinkedIn profile, he graduated in 2017 from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies. After college, the Bachelor star quickly realized that the corporate world wasn’t for him, so Joey moved to Hawaii to teach tennis. Though being a tennis professional sounds glamorous, it never made anyone rich. According to Salary.com, the average annual salary of a tennis pro in Hawaii is about $57K a year, and $69K at the high end.

Though this is a decent amount of money, Hawaii has one of the highest costs of living in the US. Additionally, Joey hasn’t been working much since The Bachelor 28 finale aired. He and Kelsey have been traveling, doing interviews and hanging out with Bachelor Nation celebrities. In May 2024, Joey and Kelsey went on vacation to Kauai with fellow Bachelor couples, Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko, as well as Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar. It would be hard to find time to teach tennis in Joey’s new life.

Joey Missed A Credit Card Payment

His FICO Score Is Down 80 Points

In June 2024, Joey appeared on the Trading Secrets podcast, where he revealed that he had missed some credit card payments while filming The Bachelor 28. Joey told the podcast audience that he had used the credit card to make an online purchase for the small amount of $100, that he simply forgot to pay off. “I was at 730, and I went on the show and I had a payment from a credit card that I didn’t answer for two and a half months,” Joey said.

    “I dropped, like, 80 points.”

He went on to say that he was shocked to come home after filming The Bachelor 28, to find that his credit score had tanked. “I was like, ‘I can’t even get into an apartment building.’ Jesus.”

For her part, Kelsey told the same podcast that she felt like she had been playing catch-up financially since coming back from the show. Kelsey recently quit her job as a project manager, she revealed, but plans to go back to work eventually. For now, she’s relying on Joey to support her financially. “Joey’s my security blanket,” she said. It may be a case of the blind leading the blind, as Joey went on to say that he had four credit cards now. “I’m just spending as much money as possible and that sh-ts going up,” he said.

Joey & Kelsey Have Multiple Roommates

    “New Girl Situation”

    He’s A Tennis Pro

Perhaps Joey’s credit score has already made it difficult for him to find an apartment. During the aforementioned Trading Secrets podcast, Joey and Kelsey revealed their living situation. The newly engaged couple currently live in Kelsey’s Louisiana apartment. “I feel like I’m full-on in a New Girl situation,” Joey explained, referencing the sitcom, after Kelsey revealed that they’re living with her two roommates. Kelsey invited Joey to move in with her, so she could return to her life after filming ended.

“He was just living with his sister, so I was like, ‘You can move in with me.’”

    Joey & Kelsey’s Whirlwind Romance

    Love At First Sight?

Joey and Kelsey hit it off right away, and Kelsey immediately solidified herself as one of the season’s front-runners. From the moment she stepped out of the limousine and into Joey’s life on night one of The Bachelor season 28, the chemistry between the young couple was undeniable. Joey was attracted to Kelsey’s warmth and beauty, while Kelsey was instantly drawn to Joey’s boyish charm.

Joey and Kelsey even shared a steamy kiss on the first night, during The Bachelor 28’s inaugural cocktail party.

After the overnight dates, Joey had a serious scare when Kelsey sent a note to his hotel room, telling him that they needed to talk. Joey freaked out. Throughout the season, Joey’s biggest fear was that he’d meet the right woman, but she’d leave him before the season ended. The Bachelor braced himself for the worst, but it turned out that Kelsey wasn’t trying to leave him. She sent the note simply because she missed Joey and wanted to see him right away.

Joey was relieved, but the incident had him so shaken that he completely shut down. It was unclear if he’d get over the scare in time to hand out his final two roses. In the end, he gave Kelsey a rose and eliminated Rachel Nance, whittling his options down to Kelsey and Daisy Kent. In the end, Joey gave his final rose to Kelsey. Though the couple seems very happy, they are already in therapy and have yet to set a wedding date.
