Marion is finally heading home after seven months in hospital

Piers Morgan’s ex-wife, Marion Shalloe, was left fighting for her life after suffering a horror accident, her son, Spencer, has revealed.

Marion and Piers were together between 1991 and 2004 before divorcing in 2008. They share three sons. Piers is now married to Celia Walden.

In the first photo, Marion can be seen in a green dress smiling between sons Spencer and Bertie.

Spencer penned a lengthy caption to accompany the heartwarming post.

We were told on more than one occasion that there was little hope.

“Seven months ago our mum was involved in a freak accident which left her fighting for her life…,” he wrote.

“We were told on more than one occasion that there was little hope if any but against all odds she hung on in there and thanks to the two heroic surgeons in the third pic and countless others at @chelwestft she left hospital today after 218 days on the ward,” he then continued.

“The staff labelled her a minor miracle but they are the miracle workers. My family are eternally grateful for their incredible work. Never give up,” he then added.

“It’s been quite sad to see her prepare to say goodbye to the school she’s attended since she was little. I try to look at it like they’re growing up and it’s great, but Emily has found it tough. Millie is her firstborn, so I totally understand why she feels so emotional about it,” he then added.

Peter and Emily rule out having any more children

Peter’s sad admission comes not long after his wife, Emily, revealed that they won’t be having any more children together.

Emily and Peter have three children together, Millie, Theo, and Arabella, whom they welcomed in April 2024. Emily is also stepmother to Peter’s children with ex Katie Price, Junior and Princess.

Speaking on Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, Emily spoke about having baby Arabella.

“It’s absolutely cemented now, but we always said it would be the last anyway. We don’t have any more bedrooms for starters, so that’s a good enough reason,” she said.

“The car is full. We don’t even have a seven-seater anymore because Junior and Princess can drive,” she then said.

She also added that the age gap between the kids means they’re not in competition with each other.

“Like the younger ones understand that there’s a different set of rules for the older ones because they’re grown-ups,” she said.

“I’m not their mum, and that’s something I always have to make sure I tread carefully with. I always see it, I think I would see it a bit more like being a big sister,” she said.

“I don’t know if that’s the right way to look at it, but I think, you know, I always try and give them guidance, but I wouldn’t overstep that,” she then continued.

Brenda strongly believed it was, stating that Andy “brought it on himself”. Janet quickly butted in and expressed her disagreement: “I’m sorry! He’s the boss of an AI company. Why should having an affair mean you can’t run a very complicated AI company?”

As they continued to talk over each other, Brenda explained that she met her ex-husband at work, stating she wasn’t “disputing” that relationships can form through work. However, she firmly believed Andy shouldn’t have been at the concert with the other woman, and that he “knew” it was wrong.

Charlene interjected: “Allegedly!” Brenda then raised her voice, shouting: “Unless they’re coming back saying that’s AI!”

On Sunday (July 20), Nicola took to Instagram to announce that she and Brooklyn have started an Instagram account for their fluffy friends.

“Very important announcement,” she wrote on her Story, adding an emoji of a poodle dog. “We made an account for our doggies.”

Brooklyn and Nicola share four poodles – Lamb, Label, Birdie and Angel. For the announcement, Nicola attached an adorable photo of Birdie leaning against a wall while sitting on a bed.

As of this writing, their feed features a photo of each of their dogs. The account currently has 178 followers.

Despite the harmless nature of the account, and it only launching less than a day ago, Nicola and Brooklyn’s latest venture has already attracted negative comments.

One user on X, formerly Twitter, noticed the lack of interest in the account from their followers.

Paul Gascoigne sparked concern after it was reported he had been rushed to hospital on Friday night (July 18).

Footballing legend Gazza, 58, was taken into intensive care before being moved to an acute medical unit, where his condition is now stable.

On Friday, Paul was found semi-conscious in the bedroom of his home in Poole, Dorset, by a pal. The star, who was capped for England 57 times, was taken to hospital, where he was then admitted into the intensive care unit.

The former Spurs, Newcastle and Everton star is now said to be out of danger. It’s unclear why he was admitted to hospital. But he is said to be recovering. He thanked fans via his pal, Steve Foster, who was the one to find him on Friday.

Steve said Gazza would “like to thank everyone for the support he’s received so far from so many old friends who wish him well and want to see him back to his best”.

It’s been reported that Paul’s daughter, Bianca, 38, his two sisters, and footy pals, including Vinnie Jones and Paul Merson, are being kept up to date with his condition.

This afternoon, the Mirror reported that Paul had shared a health update via pals. The paper claims he told a pal: “I’m fine.”

“He has told friends that he is fine and was going to give an update later today,” said a source close to the star.

However, they then shared: “He has been doing well recently so this was an unexpected setback. He had a full three months without alcohol over the summer while he was doing various speaking engagements and looked really well.”

The star’s battles with alcohol addiction and his mental health have been well documented over the years. And he has admitting to falling off the wagon in the past.

Speaking to The Mirror, he said back in May: “I feel better now than I have in years. I hope I am at a point that I can look back over everything I’ve gone through with a different, more positive perspective.”

It comes after it was reported that Michelle is “terrified” at the thought her baby girl Palma will follow in her parents’ footsteps and forge a career in showbiz.

Speaking to Heat, a source claimed: “Palma is so beautiful and, with Michelle and Mark’s jobs being in front of the camera, friends and family have been saying they should sign her up to an agency.

On Sunday (July 20), Harper – who recently celebrated her birthday with a message from brother Brooklyn – appeared in a make-up tutorial video on Victoria’s beauty brand Instagram account.

In the clip, Harper showed viewers how to apply one of her mum’s latest products, a liquid blush. The teen looked quite the expert as she applied the product to her face.

Beckham family ‘feud’

In other Beckham news, the famous family are reportedly embroiled in a feud at the moment – spurred on by Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz.

It’s believed that 26-year-old Brooklyn and Nicola have fallen out with David, Victoria and the family.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Brooklyn and Nicola had unfollowed his brothers, Romeo and Cruz on Instagram.

However, it was later reported that it wasn’t the case. It was being claimed that Romeo and Cruz have, in fact, blocked the couple. The move has reportedly “blindsided” Brooklyn and Nicola.

‘They’re so so busy’

Married couple Emma and Matt Willis have reportedly quit the Love Is Blind UK spin-off podcast.

Since 2024, Emma and Matt have hosted the UK edition of the reality show on Netflix, and are set to return for another round.

However, as far as the podcast is concerned, they have allegedly already been replaced.

Katie’s attack

Katie was the victim of horrific acid attack in March 2008 when ex-boyfriend Daniel Lynch ordered a man – named Stefan Sylvestre – to throw acid over the star.

Sylvestre was given a life sentence in 2009. He was released on licence in 2018. Lynch, meanwhile, was jailed for life with a minimum term of 16 years in May 2009.

The following year, the model bravely gave up her right to anonymity. This was in a bid to increase awareness about burns victims.

Katie has since brought the public along on her ongoing medical journey. This has involved more than 250 operations, countless skin grafts and the removal of her eye.
