Inside Simon Gregson’s booze and drugs battle – all-night benders; driving bans; beaten up ‘every other weekend’!

Fame isn’t all it’s cracked up to be

TV star Simon Gregson has been part of the Coronation Street family since 1989 – a whopping 36 years, or more than two-thirds of his life. And he hasn’t got plans to up sticks.

He gave viewers an idea of how he feels about his future as Steve McDonald in a recent podcast interview.

“So as long as they’ll have me, and pay me, I’ll stay,” he said. “For me it was never about ambition. It was never about treading the boards and trying new things.”

But his life behind the scenes has taken its toll on his mental health, and ended up with the star – on Deal or No Deal this weekend (August 3) – battling booze, drugs and anxiety…

Simon Gregson used to get beaten up ‘every other weekend’ by jealous men

When he joined the cast of Coronation Street, Simon Gregson was just a teenager. His first episode aired on December 6, 1989. He reportedly makes £150,000 a year for his troubles. Not a bad living, but he has paid for it off-screen, in ways you might not expect.

“There was a lot of violence towards me from other blokes. Girls would spot me and guys would get jealous. I’d be spat at and beaten up every other weekend. It was ridiculous. Just because I was the kid off the telly,” he told the Sunday Mirror in 2014.

“I had to climb through the back garden then another garden where my mate would be waiting for me,” he went on. Getting out of the house was a whole rigmarole. “I’d hide in the back of the car. It was mad walking down the street. Going anywhere was difficult.

“Lots of weird and crazy stuff happened. Bras were sent through the post and press waited outside my house,” he said.

Sadly, that wasn’t the worst of it…

He spent his salary going out or on cars

In his own words, Simon Gregson went “completely wild” after finding fame on the cobbles. He would go out of an evening and end up paying for his whole party to stay in hotel suites.

As time went on his alcohol consumption vastly increased and he admitted getting “dangerously drunk”. He would go to the pub and then wind up drinking a whole bottle of whisky at 4 or 5 o’clock in the morning.

As a result, he would arrive late for work. Sometimes two hours late. Or he would fail even to turn up. By his own admission, he didn’t take it seriously. He even goes as far as to say he didn’t want to be there.

Being famous wasn’t all it was cracked up to be, and he hated it. He isn’t proud of his behaviour, but drinking and getting “wasted” was a way of escaping the trials and tribulations of unwanted fame, he’s said.

“I hated being famous, I’m not proud of my behaviour but getting wasted was a way of forgetting,” he said previously.

Jealous men would spit on him in the street when they saw he was attracting their girlfriends’ attention, he said (Credit: Lorraine/YouTube)

    Drug use and driving bans

Simon’s drinking escalated. He started to pair it with narcotics, such as marijuana and cocaine, seeking, per The Sun, an escape from normal life. It also changed him as a person. Looking back, he sees that now.

“Overconfidence coupled with a lot of Scotch turned me into a complete [bleep]hole,” he said.

His lifestyle led to a series of driving bans. He lost weight and his drug habit became public knowledge in 1995. One day, he woke up in a room full of strangers, and didn’t recognise his gaunt reflection in the mirror.

Things changed after that and he quit cocaine for good.

He now has three sons: Alfie (born 2007), Harry (2009) and Henry (2016). He married his life partner Emma Gleave in 2010. And, 25 years after joining the Corrie cast, he couldn’t have been happier with his life.

Until things “came to a head”…

    Panic attacks and anxiety

“It all came to a head in 2015,” Simon told the Loose Women panel a few months ago. “I kept having anxiety attacks, panic attacks. Which is so bizarre, because I’ve been having them all day today. I was like: ‘There’s no way I can go on,’” he explained.

“It just hits you like a tonne of bricks and makes you completely incapacitated,” he added. “I’ve been having them since 1990 but I just got on with it [then].

“But then when I had children and they were noticing it and they were getting anxious, I thought, I’ve passed it on. It’s like a cold – I’ve given it to them.”

He worried that his ill mental health was contagious. But he had no idea what the episodes were. He told the Loose Women studio audience he had “every kind of test known to man”: brain scans, ECTs, the works. He saw ear, nose and throat specialists and wore heart monitors. But no one could get to the bottom of it. He was “constantly ill”.

As he had done previously, he self-medicated with alcohol. This, he warns against. Despite seeming like a “good short-term cure”, alcohol can also be a “long-term problem”, he insisted.

The best thing? Talk, he said. “Go to your GP and get some help.”

Fleur East reveals how Strictly strengthened her marriage to husband: ‘It made us fall in love with each other again’!

Fleur reached the Strictly finals in 2022

Singer Fleur East has revealed how Strictly helped strengthen her marriage to her husband, Marcel Badiane-Robin.

Since 2010, the Sax hitmaker has been in a relationship with the French celebrity fashion designer. After nearly a decade together, they finally tied the knot in a Moroccan wedding.

In March 2024, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Nova.

Fleur East talks infamous Strictly curse

In 2022, Fleur competed on the 20th series of Strictly alongside Vito Coppola. They finished as runners-up.

Since finding success on the hit BBC show, Fleur replaced Rylan Clark as the co-host of the spin-off show It Takes Two alongside Janette Manrara.

As the 2025 series quickly creeps up, Fleur offered some advice for contestants in a relationship who will be taking part.

“The way to avoid the Strictly curse is to stay attached to whatever your reality is,” she told OK!

“Because with all these shows — Strictly, the jungle and so on — it’s really intense and it’s like a bubble and it’s easy to think, ‘Oh, this is my life.’ But it’s not real. When I was on Strictly my husband and sister came to every single live show for three months, they were the two in the audience, every single night.”

‘Strictly put the spark back into our relationship’

The former X Factor contestant explained how the show helped strengthen their marriage.

“Strictly put the spark back into our relationship because you’re feeling really fit and your partner’s watching you perform at the weekend and because of the amazing wardrobe and make-up team, you’re looking amazing. It makes you fall in love with each other again because there’s an element of when you’re seeing your partner excelling at something they do, you go, ‘Oh yeah, that’s my partner,’ and it makes you proud of them,” she said.

Fleur further explained that she supports her fashion-designing husband by often wearing his clothes on the red carpet. She said it is “really important to involve my family in my journey”.

Inside Jack Osbourne’s love life – two wives; four kids; ‘flings with Kate Moss, Paris Hilton and Rod Stewart’s daughter’!

He’s previously denied some reports about famous ‘dates’

Jack Osbourne has been back in the public eye recently following the sad death of his heavy metal icon dad Ozzy Osbourne. He is also back on TV this weekend as part of the Cooking With The Stars line-up. But how much do you know about Jack’s love life, his marriages, wives and kids?

Jack has walked up the aisle twice, including to his current wife. He is also father to four kids within those marriages.

But Jack has also been linked to other celebrities – read on to find out more about who reports have claimed he has dated in previous years.

    Jack Osbourne’s marriages and kids

Jack and his then-girlfriend Lisa Stelly became parents for the first time, to daughter Pearl Clementine, in April 2012.

Pearl’s grandmother Sharon Osbourne wrote on Twitter when she was born: “Today I witnessed my first grandchild being born, life changing experience. She is an angel.”

According to reports, Jack and Lisa had begun dating the year before in 2011, and were engaged four months later. They married in Hawaii in 2012, six months after Pearl was born.

Jack and Lisa’s second daughter Andy Rose was born in 2015. Dad Jack has previously described his daughters as “the most girly girls imaginable”.

Lisa and Jack’s third child, Minnie Theodora, arrived into the world in February 2018. He announced her birth with the social media caption: “She’s the newest member of my girl squad.”

Two months later, however, Jack and Lisa announced their separation. Their divorce was finalised in 2019. They explained on Instagram: “First and foremost, we absolutely still love each other,” Jack and Lisa wrote. “Our family is the most important thing in our lives, and we tried everything we could for many years to make this work. What’s best for our family right now is that we separate lovingly, and remain best friends who are committed to raising our children together.”

Despite their break-up, Lisa recently paid a loving tribute to Jack’s late dad Ozzy – her children’s grandfather – on Instagram. She wrote: “One of one. Larger than life. It hurts to say goodbye, but what a gift it was to have him. We will never stop missing you.”

Jack Osbourne’s second marriage and fourth child

Jack became engaged to interior designer Aree Gearhart in December 2021.

Maple Artemis, their first child together – a fourth daughter for Jack – was born in July 2022.

Jack and Aree married in a private ceremony at the San Ysidro Ranch in California in September 2023.

I married the most amazing woman I’ve ever met.

He told fans on Instagram at the time: “Something really cool happened. I married the most amazing woman I’ve ever met. All in.”

Meanwhile, Aree commented: “Snuck away and married my best friend last week. I am honoured to be your wife. all in forever.”

    Dating other celebs

Before he became a married man, Jack was linked with several celebrities over the years. But which of his most famous rumoured ‘dates’ did he actually see?

Despite being linked in reports, Jack denied dating Kate Moss in February 2006. Instead, he indicated she was a pal. He was quoted as saying: “I’ve known Kate for a few years and I went out with her for her birthday.”

Several months later he maintained they were just “good friends” – but claimed they had smooched.

Jack was also pictured with Paris Hilton in the noughties, including at the 2003 Kerrang Music Awards at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. Additionally, further claims made by Ozzy and Sharon about the pair appear to have been almost entirely wiped from the internet.

Meanwhile, back in December 2011, reports claimed Jack “turned to his friend and former flame Kimberly Stewart” – daughter of Sir Rod Stewart – for tips about parenthood. MailOnline claimed at the time: “Jack and Kimberley dated in 2003 until 2004, but the couple continued to remain close friends.”

Emma Willis left with ‘forever’ side effect following shock heart surgery!

    She’s a trooper!

After undergoing keyhole heart surgery in March, TV presenter Emma Willis has revealed that she will likely be left with a “forever” side effect.

Born in Sutton Coldfield, the 49-year-old broadcaster shares three children with Busted musician Matt Willis.

She first shared the news of her operation on April 23, on Instagram. She later said she was “really anxious and nervous” during the lead up to going under.

But it didn’t take her long to return to showbiz duties. Emma attended the BAFTA TV Craft Award nominees’ party at The V&A on April 24.

This weekend, she’s back with Cooking With The Stars (August 3)…

Emma Willis on undergoing keyhole heart surgery

The TV presenter discussed her heart surgery with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden two months after the op, revealing that it had been “pretty scary”.

“I found out in January and by March I was in on the table and having a little device fitted into my heart to fill a hole that I never knew existed,” she said. “I’ve had it my whole life and just had no idea.”

My heart has got to kind of learn how to refunction hole-free.

She went on to tell Amanda and Jamie that she had always experienced heart palpitations. But she had always written them off as stress-induced. Then, over the past couple of years, they got worse.

“I’ve been having them more and more, and they got to a point where it was quite a lot,” she said. The surgery plugged the hole in her heart. Since then, the frequency of her palpitations has reduced. But it hasn’t stopped them altogether, she revealed.

“I might have them forever,” Emma said. “My heart has got to kind of learn how to refunction hole-free.”

Emma ‘blissfully unaware’ of hole in her heart

In her Instagram post announcing her medical news in April, Emma wrote that she had been “pottering around for 48 years blissfully unaware I had a hole in my heart”.

She called the medical staff that operated on her “real superstars”, and marvelled at the wonders of modern medicine – and the human body.

“Isn’t it bonkers what’s happening in our bodies that we have no idea about?” she wrote.

Around the same time, Matt revealed that their relationship had been “transformed” – in a positive way – thanks to couples’ therapy.

“I don’t think [therapy] is for everyone but I think you’d be surprised with how much you can benefit from it,” he told MailOnline.

“Emma was definitely not up for it when I mentioned it,” he added. “But she’s really pleased we did. It’s been transformative. I think people instantly jump to the fact that you need therapy because you’re in trouble, that’s the pre-conceived notion. But we weren’t in trouble, we just had certain things that we couldn’t get past.”

  • Rebecca Loos on her ‘affair’ with David Beckham – from ‘very generous lover’ claims to how she’s ‘never lied’!

Rebecca Loos on her ‘affair’ with David Beckham – from ‘very generous lover’ claims to how she’s ‘never lied’!

The scandal made her life ‘hell’

Dutch former glamour model Rebecca Loos was personal assistant to footballing legend David Beckham for a few months in 2003, during which time, she later claimed, they conducted a brief affair.

The story scandalised early noughties Britain. The tabloids had a feeding frenzy, said former Mirror editor Roy Greenslade at the time. He tied the papers’ obsession with the Beckhams to the passing of Princess Diana.

“With the death of Diana they [the tabloids] have elevated the Beckhams into her slot,” he told the BBC. “In the way that they can ramp up their sales. They have elevated them, and the Beckhams have elevated themselves, to a dizzying height of fame.”

David was married to wife Victoria at the time, and moved to Real Madrid with 26-year-old Rebecca as a personal assistant. He and Victoria Beckham (née Adams) tied the knot in 1999 at a ceremony that reportedly cost an eye-watering amount.

Rebecca Loos’ upcoming appearance on Channel 4’s gruelling reality TV series Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins has led to ample opportunities for grilling. So here’s what she has said about the whole (alleged) debacle…

David and Victoria have been married for 26 years now (Credit: CoverImages.com)

What claims did Rebecca make back in 2004 about her ‘affair’ with David Beckham?

First, a bit of history. Or, alleged history.

David Beckham transferred to Real Madrid in July 2003. It was a career-defining transfer, and gave him a shot at footballing fame and glory in Spain. He had been at Manchester United.

With the move came a new entourage. This included 26-year-old personal assistant Rebecca Loos.

Her job was to help the Beckhams – plural, since David had married Victoria four years earlier, and they had two children together by this point – settle into Spanish life.

Two months later, photographs emerged of them, as in David and Rebecca, leaving a Madrid nightclub together. Whispers circulated, but nothing came of it. Until…

In April 2004, Rebecca sold her story in an exclusive interview with News of the World.

Rebecca said she first went public with her claims because she wanted to tell her side of the story in her own way (Credit: YouTube)

She cut a deal with the paper worth a staggering amount

Rebecca Loos sold her story to the paper for £300,000, according to the BBC.

She later told Sky TV’s Kay Burley in a televised interview that she and David Beckham “just really hit it off”.

“We just connected. People noticed it,” she said, per the Mail. “The chemistry between David and I was so strong and people were not happy because I was being very unprofessional and he’s a married man.

“He is very generous lover. He gives a lot. He pleases. He knows what you want. It’s all about you and not so much about him. It’s nice,” she claimed.

Rebecca Loos’ life became ‘hell’ after ‘affair’ while Beckham’s ‘blossomed’

The former PA and glamour model’s time on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins has led to quite a lot of chatter about her claims of an affair.

Rebecca will be seen facing a grilling in the show’s Mirror Room, during which Jason Fox and Chris Oliver asked her why she had chosen to come on the show, and how she felt about the scandal now, two decades later.

“It felt unjust that my life was pretty hell and his life kept going and kept blossoming. I’ve been accused of being a liar. I’ve had a lifetime of opinions around me, I’ve definitely developed thick skin,” she said, per the Mirror.

“I think the public opinion now has softened, at least from what I’m gathering since the documentary came out with the Beckhams a couple of years ago. I think it is now because thanks to social media, there is a whole different following out there, which it’s a double-edged sword.”

One of her sons told her ‘at least it wasn’t Messi’

Rebecca Loos said in a 2023 interview that she is very open about how the chaos of 2003-2004 changed her life. She’s spoke to her Norwegian doctor Sven Christjar Skaiaa about it. And their sons – Magnus, 14, and Liam, 11.

“They know [about the alleged affair], one paper quotes her as saying. “And so I said: ‘I want to say something. And I’m going to do an interview, so there might be some media and how do you feel about that?’

“And so my youngest son said: ‘Oh, good.’ He’s a bit like me. He’s like: ‘Good for you, Mummy.’ And my eldest son, he said: ‘Well, I don’t really know anything about Beckham. It’s not like it’s Messi, Mummy. I mean, had it been Messi…’”

    Trust issues

The mum-of-two told Closer that she wasn’t worried about putting herself back in the spotlight during her stint on Celebrity SAS.

“There are people who like you, people who don’t like you. I’m not bothered by the people who don’t like me. It used to get to me when I was younger, but now I know you can’t please everyone. I’m a little bit burnt by what I’ve been through, so I have a big issue trusting. Celeb SAS was a great show for me to come back on because it’s quite serious.

“And the production company have been absolutely fantastic – what they’ve said the show is going to be and what they said they’re going to do, they’ve done. There’s been no backstabbing, no clever things to try to make headlines, no game playing. It’s been very honest and very open,” she said.

Victoria Beckham reportedly wants a ‘face-to-face’ with Rebecca Loos

Heat World ran a story earlier this year claiming that Victoria Beckham is at her “wits’ end” about what to do.

The story has not gone away in the way she hoped it would, apparently.

In an interview with 60 Minutes back in the spring, Rebecca maintained that she has “stuck to the truth”.

“I’ve never exaggerated,” she insisted. “I never lied about a single thing. Why? Because I’m going up against the strongest, most powerful couple in the media, who have all the money in the world for the best PR, the best lawyers. And all I had on my side was the truth.”

The Beckhams have a combined net worth of around £500 million.

Every time Rebecca speaks, it’s a “dagger through Victoria’s heart”, a source reportedly told the magazine.

The unnamed source claims that Victoria wants to have a “face-to-face showdown” with Rebecca. David, meanwhile, is not so keen on the idea.

Rebecca Loos has embraced life in Norway as a yoga teacher

Two decades after scandalising Britain with headlines about an alleged affair with one of the most famous footballers of all time, Rebecca Loos now lives in Norway.

In 2008, she met her future husband Sven Christjar Skaiaa on the set of 71 Graden Noord, a Dutch reality TV series. She moved to Norway to live with him in 2009.

Rebecca became a certified medical assistant in 2011, and completed her first yoga teacher training in 2017. Around the same time, she opened a studio in the mountain village of Hemsedal.

Her media appearances have been relatively scant over the last few years, although this year has marked a change of pace.

Her husband Sven worked as a medic with the Royal Norwegian Air Force, and spent some time with the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service. He is now a search and rescue specialist.

    David and Victoria’s response

David Beckham has consistently denied any allegations of an affair with Rebecca Loos, calling them “ludicrous”. He shared a statement at the time, saying: “During the past few months I have become accustomed to reading more and more ludicrous stories about my private life. What appeared this morning is just one further example. The simple truth is that I am very happily married and have a wonderful wife and two very special kids. There is nothing any third party can do to change this.”

In their Netflix documentary, Victoria, meanwhile, described it as the “most unhappy” period of her life. She said: “It was the hardest period for us. Because it felt like the world was against us.”

David added: “Victoria is everything to me, to see her hurt was incredibly difficult, but we’re fighters and at that time we needed to fight for each other, we needed to fight for our family.”

While the Beckhams have never taken legal action against Loos, they did settle a defamation claim against News of the World.

Tragedy strikes Sir David Attenborough – urgent heart surgery, memory lapses, and a chilling “end of life” message – Is the legendary voice of nature fading for good?

He’s been a staple on screens for years

Sir David Attenborough is a national treasure and, aged 99, he’s had his fair share of health challenges.

For more than 70 years, Sir David has entertained and educated the nation, thanks to his award-winning nature documentaries – including Planet Earth III and Parenthood which is on this weekend (August 3).

Recently though, he sparked concern following a heartbreaking “end of life” statement. So, here, ED! is taking a look inside Sir David’s health woes.

Sir David Attenborough’s health struggles – memory loss

In 2016, David Attenborough admitted he was “coming to terms” with the memory loss that comes with old age. The TV icon explained it was taking him longer to write scripts because the “proper names” of things were getting harder to remember.

Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph, David confessed he slowed down production on Blue Planet II because of his forgetfulness.

The BBC star noticed his memory lapse while he was trying to recall the name of a flower. This was during a trip to Jura Mountains in Switzerland.

“There were these searing yellow fields, and I can’t think of the damn name,” he said.

David, who at the time of the interview was 90, added: “I wanted to say something about it, but I couldn’t, and it wasn’t until we got quite close to Geneva that I thought, of course, oil seed rape.”

The presenter had to have knee surgery 10 years ago (Credit: BBC)

Sir David Attenborough’s ‘nasty’ knee surgery

David ended up having to have knee surgery in 2015 after only being able to hobble around for a few yards.

The surgery – which he described as “nasty” – later enabled David to “walk for an hour” and continue making his nature programmes.

“I had one done. They [the doctors] weren’t keen on doing both at the same time, which I would have liked because I was in my eighties,” the presenter told MailOnline.

He added: “They don’t want to keep you on anaesthetic for that long. It was a nasty business.”

Sir David had urgent heart surgery

Sir David was admitted to hospital for urgent heart surgery in 2013. He was fitted with a pacemaker, which is used to correct an abnormal heartbeat. Due to the ordeal, David had to pull out of a sold-out speaking tour of Australia.

As MailOnline reports, his spokesman said his cardiologist had told Sir David he needed a pacemaker fitted urgently. They added: “Obviously after that you can’t take a long-haul flight.”

The BBC also released a brief statement. Director of television Danny Cohen said: “We all wish Sir David a full and strong recovery.”

The TV legend made a recent heartbreaking statement (Credit: BBC)

Sir David’s ‘end of life’ statement

In David’s new Disney+ documentary Ocean – released on May 8 to coincide with his 99th birthday – he made a sobering admission about mortality as he looked at how important aquatic life is to sustaining our planet.

That’s because, Sir David mentions he is “nearing the end of his life”.

At one point, Sir David tells viewers: “When I first saw the sea as a young boy, it was thought of as a vast wilderness to be tamed and mastered for the benefit of humanity. Now, as I approach the end of my life, we know the opposite is true.

“After living for nearly 100 years on this planet, I now understand that the most important place on Earth is not on land, but at sea.”

But despite reflecting on how humans are “almost out of time”, Sir David maintains that creating protected marine reserves where fishing is banned could allow the ocean to recover.

Dame Kelly Holmes ‘engaged’ to partner Louise

As reported by The Sun, an insider told the newspaper that it’s a “lovely happy ending after she spent years thinking she was going to be arrested for having gay relationships while she was in the Army”.

They continued: “It was at a time when homosexuality was still illegal for serving troops.”

The news arrives three years after Kelly came out as gay.

Kelly and Louise have been in a relationship since 2021. They met on an online fitness community set up during the coronavirus pandemic.

ED! has contacted Kelly’s reps for comment.

What the Royal Family Doesn’t Want You to Know: Queen Camilla’s Power Could Vanish Overnight When Prince William Becomes King – Experts Reveal Chilling Possibility

The Prince of Wales is first in line to the throne…

Camilla was crowned Queen Consort alongside her husband King Charles on his coronation day, but what happens to the royal when Prince William becomes king – and what will she be called?

Camilla met Charles back in the 1970s, and although they dated briefly, they split and married separate partners. Two decades later, their affair became public and they had broken up with their spouses. Fast-forward to 2005, they tied the knot and Camilla began making more public and royal appearances alongside her husband.

What happens to Queen Camilla when Prince William becomes king?

Charles‘ mother Queen Elizabeth II became Britain’s longest-reigning monarch after 70 years on the throne. She ascended to the Head of State after her father King George VI passed away at Sandringham after battling an illness, at just 25 years old.

Whereas, Charles didn’t become the monarch until he was 71 years old, meaning it’s unlikely he’ll have a reign as long as his mother’s. It was Elizabeth who issued a public statement months before her death, wishing for Camilla to become a queen consort when the time comes. Spouses of the monarch are typically Prince or Princess Consort, but the royal wanted Camilla to become queen consort in honour of her ‘loyal service’.

Elizabeth’s husband, Prince Philip, was not referred to as a Prince Consort, but instead when by the title of Duke of Edinburgh.

One day, Prince William will succeed his father, in the event of King Charles’ death, so what happens to Camilla, and will she still be called Queen?

What will Camilla be called when William is king?

Camilla’s title will change in the event of King Charles’ death and if William ascends to the throne – she will be called something else entirely.

She’ll not retain the Queen Camilla title if she is alive to see William succeed Charles, instead being Queen Dowager, as the widow of the departed king.

Her full title as of present, is Queen Consort Camilla, but many drop the consort out of ease and respect. But she does not hold the same power as her husband, and Charles is the reigning monarch despite of this.

The last queen dowager was back in the 1800s, and the royal only held the title for 12 years.

The most recent widow of a king was Queen Elizabeth II’s own mother, also called Elizabeth, who was married to George VI. However, she did not take on the queen dowager title, and was known as the Queen Mother for 50 years. It also helped to avoid confusion as both royals had the first name Elizabeth.

However, in Camilla’s case, William is her stepson so what will happen is that she’ll likely take another title over being called Queen Mother.

But, as royal history has shown us, William may choose to take another route and craft a new title for Camilla when he is king.

    Royal’s life after Charles’ death

Her royal workload and public outings will likely change, and this will mostly be down to her age in the event of Charles’ death.

Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton will ascend to the throne, and become the head of the country.

Their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will likely take on senior royals within The Firm if they’re of age to do so.

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz renew wedding vows

Over the past few months, Brooklyn Beckham, 26, and Nicola, 30, have remained in the headlines following numerous reports of a feud between Brooklyn and his famous family.

While no one has yet confirmed the reason for the reported feud, the cause of the rift is the supposed tension between Brooklyn’s wife and the Beckham family.

In the latest update surrounding the couple, it has been revealed that they have chosen to renew their wedding vows.

The ceremony reportedly took place on Saturday (August 2).

News broke after a source close to the couple told People: “The event is about honouring the love and commitment they’ve built together over the years, and creating a memory that will stay with them forever.”

A source then told Metro: “This is a moment to celebrate their love and commitment, and to create a meaningful memory together.”

Brooklyn says meeting Nicola felt like ‘love at first sight’

During an interview with Glamour in June, Brooklyn recalled meeting Nicola for the first time.

“The first time I saw Nicola at Coachella [in 2017], I was instantly drawn to her. She was gorgeous, obviously, but it was her warmth and energy that stuck with me. Even though it was a blink-and-you-miss-it moment, I never forgot it,” he said.

Nicola also detailed her first encounter with Brooklyn.

“It was brief, but I felt something. I had a boyfriend, he had a girlfriend—but there was this instant charm. He took a few photos of me, and somehow that moment stayed with me for years,” she explained.

Things didn’t officially kick off until “years later”, when the pair “ran into each other at a Halloween party”, which was hosted by Leonardo DiCaprio in 2019.

Verstappen’s Fury Unleashed, Red Bull in Freefall: Was the Hungarian GP Failure Just Bad Luck, or Something Darker? You Won’t Believe What Happened Next.

Max Verstappen thinks Red Bull was handed a ‘rude awakening’ after he was outqualified by Gabriel Bortoleto in the Sauber for the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Verstappen starts the race in eighth place, his worst start of the 2025 season, having lost out to Bortoleto by 0.003s in what became a difficult qualifying session for the Dutchman.

Both Red Bull drivers complained about rear instability with their cars, with Yuki Tsunoda suffering an early exit in Q1.

Verstappen was mystified over where the pace went for Red Bull, and told media that it was a “rude awakening” for the team, according to journalist Ronald Vording.

Max Verstappen warns Red Bull after worst qualifying of 2025 season in Hungary

Red Bull have been off the pace all weekend, after failing to break into the top five during practice. While they usually find something overnight between Friday and Saturday, that has not been the case in Budapest.

Helmut Marko felt their performance improved as qualifying progressed, with the track temperatures dropping 15 degrees Centigrade between the start of the session and the end of Q2.

“According to Marko, things went better as qualifying progressed, but he also said that we don’t know why that was. Red Bull is very much looking for answers,” said Vording.

“Verstappen said: ‘Yes we have ideas but I don’t have to say them out loud. But that won’t save us this weekend anyway because today was a rude awakening.’”

Yuki Tsunoda suffers fourth Q1 exit of 2025 season at Red Bull

Things didn’t improve on the other side of the garage for Red Bull, with Tsunoda suffering a fourth straight exit in Q1 this season.

He will line up on the grid in 16th place, having suffered from the same problems as Verstappen, although his quickest lap was still within a tenth of the Dutchman’s.

New Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies handed Tsunoda one of Verstappen’s spare floors in Belgium, a move that never happened under Christian Horner.

Tsunoda’s form instantly improved as a result, although the Japanese driver is still trying to save his career at the team given that he is out of contract for 2026.
