Max had a pacemaker fitted in December and more surgery in February

The Wanted singer Max George is back in the hospital shortly after having heart surgery for the second time.

In December, the Glad You Came hitmaker revealed he had a pacemaker fitted after announcing he had a ‘block’ in his heart. Max, 36, later had a second surgery after having “physical symptoms” in his chest in February.

    Max George shares health update

In his latest health update, Max revealed he was back in the hospital today.

In an Instagram Story shared this morning (July 2), the star posted a pic of an empty corridor. Directly in front of him appeared a door that had a sign that read “Cardiology & Chest Clinic”.

Over the top of the photo played Eminem’s song Without Me.

As of this writing, Max, who is dating former EastEnders star Maisie Smith, has yet to issue a further update, so it’s unclear what he’s in hospital for.

‘It’s gonna be a difficult few weeks’

In December, Max revealed that after having some tests done, they found he had “issues” with his heart.

“I have a lot more tests to determine the extent of the problems and what surgery I will need to get me back on my feet,” he said.

“It’s gonna be a difficult few weeks / months… and Christmas in a hospital bed wasn’t exactly what I had planned! But, as always, I’m surrounded with love and support from my wonderful partner Maisie, her family, my family and friends.. and I’m 100% in the best place.”

This isn’t the first time Max has kept fans up to date regarding his health. After having his pacemaker fitted that same month, he discussed having check-ups.

“I’m in the hospital tomorrow for another check-up because I’ve been getting this like flicking feeling in the left hand side of my chest,” he said.

Long Lost Family host Davina McCall accused of ‘weird’ behaviour towards foundling

Chris got the answers he’d been waiting more than years for

Long Lost Family host Davina McCall came under fire last night (Wednesday, July 2) for her behaviour during the show.

Fans of the series took to Twitter to slam the star, with some branding her behaviour “weird”.

What happened on Long Lost Family last night?

Last night’s edition of Long Lost Family: Born Without Trace saw Davina and her co-host, Nicky Campbell, meet Chris, who, at three months old, had been left in the care of a childminder in King’s Cross, London.

More than 60 years on, Chris contacted the Long Lost Family team in the hope of learning more about his birth family.

Chris explained that he was dropped off at the child minder’s by a man called John Jones. ‘Jones’ told the childminder Chris’ mother would be picking him up at teatime. She never did. No one ever came forward following public appeals either.

“Why wait three months?” he mused as he discussed his abandonment.

He also speculated that he could have come from “anywhere” considering King’s Cross Station was so close by.

Chris was adopted by a couple and grew up in Camden, London, along with their children.

“Couldn’t have gone into a better family,” he said.

    Davina’s conversation with Chris

In 2021, Chris took a DNA test. His results came back as 100% Irish.

Later in the show, it was revealed that Chris’ birth parents had been found. His birth mother had sadly died, but his birth father was still alive.

He learned that his birth mother and father hadn’t been married when they had Chris. However, after Chris’s abandonment, they had gone on to marry and have more children, meaning Chris has four siblings.

Davina then travelled to Chris’ home to give him some information about his family.

During the conversation, Davina revealed that Chris’ birth mother was in her early eighties when she died. When he asked whether she would have been in her early twenties having him, Davina simply nodded.

When asked if his birth mother had lived in London, Davina said that she’d come from Ireland the year before Chris’ birth.

She also shared the news that his father was still alive, that he didn’t know about Chris, and that Chris has siblings. She also shared some photos of Chris’ birth family with him.

Viewers baffled by Davina’s ‘weird’ behaviour

Much of the conversation was largely one-sided and driven by Chris, who understandably had lots of questions. But it was what some viewers saw as “vague” answers from Davina that sparked the backlash.

“That was an odd conversation between Davina and Chris, poor man had so many questions and was getting vague responses. Lovely, understanding man, hope he gets the answers he needs, and yes, I know it’s a huge shock to his birth family,” one viewer said.

“That whole one-sided conversation then with Davina was weird,” another tweeted.

“Repeating hmm is not pulling your balance in the conversation, Davina. You aren’t Frank Spencer. Is she getting paid for this [bleep]?” a third fumed.

“If Chris hadn’t asked all the questions, would he have actually been told anything?” another asked. “Omg just tell him the answers. Poor man has a lot of questions,” a fifth fumed.

    ‘Made me tearful’

There was plenty of praise for Chris, with viewers feeling emotional over his “understanding” reaction to news about his birth family.

An emotional one on #longlostfamily tonight! Made me tearful!” one viewer tweeted after Davina told Chris what she’d learnt about his birth family.

“What a lovely, empathetic and forgiving man,” another said

A former Strictly Come Dancing contestant has revealed that she doesn’t know “anything” about Oasis despite the iconic brothers returning to the stage for the first time in 16 years

Former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Ann Widdecombe wasn’t too impressed when she heard Oasis for the first time on today’s Jeremy Vine programme, admitting that she wouldn’t see them in concert.

The band of brothers are reuniting on stage for the first time in 16 years tonight at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium to kick off their highly-anticipated tour.

However, former politician and reality star Ann revealed that she wasn’t a fan – and hadn’t even heard their music before – while appearing on Jeremy Vine’s Channel 5 show.

When Jeremy said that he knew she wasn’t impressed by the iconic musicians, Ann said: “I don’t know anything about Oasis. My acquaintance with pop music stopped with Cliff Richard and the Shadows.”

Ann Widdecombe listened to Oasis for the first time on Jeremy Vine's Channel 5 show

Ann then listened to the band for the very first time live on-air, with Jeremy placing a pair of headphones and a bucket hat on her head. Listening to Oasis hit Morning Glory, she shook her head before telling Jeremy: “The only thing I could make out there was an exhortation to wake up.”

She added: “First of all, the headphones were on over my hat which probably didn’t altogether help. Secondly, the only lyric I could make out was ‘wake up, wake up’. Morning Glory is the plant that you find in Kenya.”

When Jeremy told her that the phrase has other meanings, she said: “Oh has it? I don’t want to know anymore.”

Jeremy then began to speak to a listener who is heading to the gig tonight and began to ask whether he would take Ann if he had a spare ticket – however, Ann soon interrupted.

“No, no, no, no. I’ve been to one pop concert in my entire life and that was under duress because my niece could only go if I went with her,” she said. “It was Boyzone. I like Shane Lynch because we were in Big Brother together but I would not want to go to a pop concert again.

“It’s loud. I had ear muffs, I actually to ear muffs with me and you have to stand up all the time and everybody around you is doing all this nonsense. No.”

Thousands of fans are descending on Cardiff for tonight’s Oasis return and the band have made a last minute change to their line-up just hours before the gig.

Backing vocalist Jess Greenfield is no longer listed in the tour programme despite being announced to perform with the group.

An EastEnders icon is stepping back into the soap world, but this time, she’s swapping Albert Square for the sun-soaked shores of Australia.

Hannah Waterman, who captured viewers’ hearts as Laura Beale in EastEnders from 2000 to 2004, has joined the cast of the long-running Aussie soap Home and Away.

During her four-year stint on EastEnders, Hannah became a familiar face as Ian Beale’s (Adam Woodyatt) third wife. But her time on the soap ended in one of the show’s most shocking storylines when her character met a grim fate.

Laura was killed off in 2004 after she answered the door, tripped over a toy, and fell down a flight of stairs. Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) was accused of Laura’s murder following one of their explosive rows and the discovery of a damning receipt in Laura’s flat. The plot twist became one of the most memorable moments in EastEnders history.

Since saying goodbye to Walford, Hannah has continued to work as an actress, appearing in British telly favourites such as Doctors, The Bill, New Tricks, and Holby City.

Over a decade ago she decided to make a life-changing move and leave the UK behind for Australia. Hannah continued to carve out a successful acting career there.

One of her credits Down Under is for the drama Bali 2002, which chronicles the tragic events of the 2002 Bali bombings. Now Hannah is making a triumphant return to soapland as she joins Home and Away. The series has been a staple of Australian television since it first aired on January 17, 1988.

A source told The Sun: “Hannah moved to Australia years ago for a new life, but she’s still acting.

Hannah is best known for her iconic role as Laura Beale

“She loved dipping her toes back into the world of soap briefly, and who knows it could mean she finds her way back more permanently.”

Home and Away chronicles the dramas, romances, and heartbreaks of the residents of the fictional coastal town Summer Bay. The soap recently celebrated an impressive 35 years on air.

Channel 5 secured the rights to the show in 2000, and UK audiences have been tuning in to watch it ever since. Besides this new career milestone, Hannah has also experienced some highs in her personal life while in Australia.

Three years ago she married actor Huw Higginson, who is best known for his decade-long role as PC George Garfield in The Bill. Huw shared a photo from their wedding in October 2022, where the couple could be seen posing on a boat in Sydney with their 11-year-old son Jack.

He captioned the sweet family snapshot: “Got married to my love yesterday. We had the best of days.” In the photo Hannah is beaming at Huw and wearing a patterned blue dress paired with gold strappy sandals and a navy pashmina.

She is also holding a bouquet of cream flowers. Before settling down in Australia in 2014, Hannah was married to EastEnders co-star Ricky Groves. The couple tied the knot in 2006 but separated in 2010 and got divorced four years later.

Celebrity Gogglebox is adding another famous face to its sofa for tonight’s episode, with This Morning star Alison Hammond joining the 2025 cast. It marks the presenter’s first time on the hit Channel 4 series, which sees stars watch some of week’s biggest TV moments.

Channel 4 announced that Alison will be appearing in tonight’s episode, joining her sister Saundra and her son Aidan, who she hosted BBC Two’s Florida Unpacked. In a statement, Alison said: “I’m so excited to be doing Celebrity Gogglebox with my son Aidan. We’ve always loved watching telly together, and now we get to do it on the sofa for the nation!

“It’s a real family affair too, because my fabulous sister Saundra is getting involved as well. Expect laughs, eye-rolls, and lots of commentary, classic Hammond style!”

Reports of Alison joining the cast of Celebrity Gogglebox hit the headlines back in May, with the This Morning star and her son tipped to join the show.

The current series of Celebrity Gogglebox has seen the likes of Paddy McGuinness, Vernon Kay, Clare Balding, Rylan Clark, Nick Grimshaw and other stars watch the telly highlights of the week.

While the series began last month, some fans weren’t impressed with its big return – complaining that it felt too “forced” for some of the celebs.

“Not the dreaded celebrities again, so many of them are so annoying #Celebritygogglebox,” one wrote, while another said: “Celebrity Gogglebox just isn’t funny like the original, it feels forced! #gogglebox #Celebritygogglebox.”

Vicky Pattison is also on the cast this year alongside her longtime friend Pete Wicks. The former Geordie Shore star opened up about filming the show and the challenges they faced during the ongoing heatwave.

Speaking on her podcast with Angela Scanlon, Vicky said: “We’re done. It’s in the bag. Last one is this week so make sure you tune in. I can’t promise any feminist rants. I was sweating me t**s off.

“It was 40 degrees in my front room trying to do that the other day, and obviously, with the heatwave we’ve been having this week, it’s been f*****g savage. Yeah, literally swamp gusset galore.”

This series of Celebrity Gogglebox also saw Rag’n’Bone Man join the cast, marking his first ever reality TV appearance.

Celebrity Gogglebox continues tonight at 9pm on Channel 4.

One of the experts from the Repair Shop has announced a new project away from the BBC show. Dominic Chinea has shared his excitement over his latest TV role, with him said to be filming for it already amid a move with his family.

Dominic, 39, who has been on the Repair Shop since 2017, previously announced that he would be relocating from Kent to Cornwall. The mechanic is making the move with his wife Maria Chinea and their dog Wendy.

This week, it’s been announced that he will appear in the new factual series Dom Chinea’s Cornish Workshop for the channel U&YESTERDAY and its streaming platform U. Filming is underway on the five-part series, which is scheduled to air in the UK next year.

It’s been teased that the show follows Dom as he “carves out a new life” in Cornwall after having bought a “rundown” farmhouse, with a two-acre field. The property includes a large agricultural barn that will become his Cornish Workshop.

Viewers will see Dom carry out automotive, engineering and build work. He will also assist neighbours in his new community with their own projects, including helping his local church with their bells and a creating a bespoke ice cream vehicle for someone.

It’s been announced that every episode “packs big and little stories” alongside Dominic creating his new workshop from an ancient barn. He’s said to enlist the support of Sam Lovegrove throughout the series, as well as a cast of local trades people.

Dom said in a statement: “I’m so excited by the projects we’ve got going on. But on top of the engineering, I’ve also got to get my Cornish workshop built and weatherproof before the autumn storms hit. There’s a lot of pressure!”

It comes after Dominic previously announced his relocation to Cornwall. He revealed just weeks ago that “a lot has changed” in his life and spoke further about the move in a Q&A video uploaded to his YouTube channel last month.

Dominic Chinea and Will Kirk stood in front of a van with the Repair Shop logo on it.

He was asked about the move and shared his response in the video on his channel recently. Addressing a question about his decision to relocate with his family, he said: “Why not?”

Dominic then spoke about the land that he had at his new home. He said: “Moving to Cornwall has meant I’ve got the house, a lovely field that I can turn into a nice garden, and most importantly a big barn that is now mine, that is my workshop.”

He went on to say in the video that he had rented his previous workshop in Kent. Dominic told viewers that the new space would instead be his own.

Dominic said: “Previously, I rented my old workshop, and every month was giving a lot of money to a landlord to rent the space. Now it’s my space, and whatever I do to it, it’s mine, and that is enough of a reason for me.”

  • Oasis fans who camped out for Cardiff Principality Stadium show given huge treat

Oasis fans who camped out for Cardiff Principality Stadium show given huge treat

Lorraine correspondent Nick Dixon has revealed that Oasis fans have been treated by the band after camping outside Cardiff’s Principality Stadium ahead of their big reunion

Oasis surprised its fans who’ve been camped outside Cardiff’s Principality Stadium ahead of their reunion with a once-in-a-lifetime gift. Those fans who had been out on the streets of Cardiff were given wristbands to access the front pit in the standing crowd, meaning they get the chance to be up close with Noel and Liam Gallagher.

ITV Lorraine correspondent Nick Dixon revealed on the ITV show that some ticket holders had been waiting outside the Principality Stadium since yesterday in the hopes of getting to the front of the stage.

“Some of the more passionate fans with tickets have been queuing up at different sections of the stadium since yesterday because they want to get in there as soon as the doors open at 5pm and rush to the stage,” he told the ITV show.

“It turns out that the band and the band’s management had noticed the fact that they were there because all of a sudden, on the other side of the stadium, security rounded up the fans and moved them.”

Nick added that he originally feared that the fans had been kicked out by security. “We were at first wondering, ‘I hope they’re not being turfed out, they’ve got tickets,’ but actually security told me that the band spotted them and they’ve been moved to a different area – a VIP area.

“They’ve had a massive upgrade on their tickets, which is fantastic for them. They’ve left here deliriously happy.” It comes just days after the band reportedly refused to give out free tour tickets to their team working behind the scenes.

A source told the Mail: “The crew will be travelling around the country with the band, setting up the venues, and will be on hand throughout the concerts in case they are needed. They’ll be away from their family and are usually given tickets to invite them down to join them at one of the shows.

“But the Gallagher brothers have banned any free tickets being given out. The crew are all fuming. Many of them have toured with other big-name artists and have never known anything like it. All Oasis seem to care about is making as much money as they can. Is this about fans, or is the truth that it’s all about the money?”

The famous brothers are reuniting today on stage for the first time in 16 years, kicking off their nationwide tour in Cardiff this evening. Ahead of the big gig, some fans have heard the pair rehearsing their setlist – with one on Reddit revealing that they’ll be playing 24 songs.

They claimed the setlist kicks off with an intro of F****n’ in the Bushes then Hello, Acquiesce, Morning Glory followed by Some Might Say. Cigarettes & Alcohol is next as Fade Away, Supersonic, Roll With It, Bring It On Down follows. It is believed Noel will take on Talk Tonight, Half the World Away, Little By Little.

How to buy Oasis tickets now

Oasis tickets are available right now from a number of online retailers. This includes both official and resale websites.

Fans will likely want to peruse Ticketmaster’s wares first, as they have been touted as the original seller of the band’s tour tickets. However, the online media giant has not had any tickets for some time.

And, at the time of writing, only people with allocated codes can buy tickets. Regardless, here’s the link:

TICKETMASTER – Buy Oasis tickets here.

Otherwise, resale websites are where fans ought to be looking the most. Oasis have signposted Twickets as their official resale websites, however, they have not had tickets for a very long time.

As a result, fans have flocked to the likes of viagogo, Vivid Seats and StubHub instead. And, at the time of writing, some Oasis tickets are being sold for around £200 each on viagogo. Below, we have broken down all the options Oasis-lovers have to buy tickets right now. This ranges from official retailers to VIP sellers and resale websites.

    viagogo and resale tickets

Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.

Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.

    Here’s the links:

VIAGOGO – Buy Oasis tickets here.

VIVID SEATS – Buy Oasis tickets here.

STUBHUB – Buy Oasis tickets here.

TWICKETS – Buy Oasis tickets here.

Finally, there are also official tickets available from VIP and hospitality-based website Seat Unique. This retailer gives fans the absolute best chance of getting involved in Oasis’ tour dates this year.

What’s more, these VIP tickets give fans a chance to see the band with an added touch of flair and glamour. Here’s the link:

Jeremy Clarkson pokes fun at Kaleb Cooper after farmhand posts rare video of lookalike brother

Clarkson’s Farm fans were shocked to see how similar Kaleb Cooper’s brother is to the farmhand after he posted a rare video of him on social media, complete with a cheeky response from Jeremy Clarkson.

Kaleb, who became a household name thanks to his appearances on the hit Amazon Prime series ever since it debuted in 2021, posted a clip on Instagram as he celebrated turning 27. The short video showed his brother pushing him on a tyre swing, which left many of Kaleb’s 2.9 million followers convinced they were seeing double.

Fans flooded the comments section, asking questions like: “Why is there two of you?” and “Hey is that your twin? Happy birthday.”

Fans were astonished by how similar the Cooper brothers look(Image: Instagram)

Others joked: “This is like a glitch in the Matrix. Why is the person pushing you also you?!” and “Kaleb squared.” Several were so confused they demanded answers, with one person asking: “How are you pushing yourself on the swing?”

But it was Jeremy Clarkson who delivered the most savage reaction, quipping: “I’d worry about that rope.” Kaleb captioned his birthday post: “Here’s to 27 years old! Thank you all for the birthday messages!”

Kaleb’s latest update comes after season four of Clarkson’s Farm season four came out on Prime Video at the end of May. In it there were periods where the farmhand was temporarily absent from Diddly Squat Farm as he took on a nationwide speaking tour.

During his time away, a new figure called Harriet Cowan stepped in to lend a hand. Kaleb recently reassured fans that he is still a part of the series on This Morning, explaining: “I’m still involved, there’s lots of rumours going about that I’ve been replaced but I’m still here, Harriet stepped in as I jumped away on tour, I’m very grateful that Harriet came along and saved the day.”

Ben Shephard noted that Harriet even helped Jeremy “tidy his eyebrows”, to which Kaleb teased: “I know his hair’s terrible but I don’t really notice his eyebrows.”

Kaleb went on to joke about Jeremy’s skills on the farm, saying: “He shouldn’t be trusted alone on the farm, he’s getting better but there are loads of things he still can’t do.”

Filming season four of Clarkson’s Farm was not always plain sailing, as Kaleb has revealed that he and Jeremy got into a number of rows during the latest harvest, calling the experience “pretty tough mentally”.

He admitted “Jeremy and I argued quite a bit in harvest because it was so stressful for me trying to do my very best again as a contractor. It was pretty tough mentally.”

He added that Clarkson can be more of a hindrance than a help when it comes to working in the fields, saying: “Jeremy really enjoys doing the harvest, but he’s a pain. Life would be easier if he wasn’t there during harvest, just because he’s a bit incompetent!”

Despite their fiery rows, which included Kaleb calling Jeremy a “t**t” and Jeremy retaliating with choice words of his own, the pair ultimately teamed up to get the job done.

She started off by saying: “When I was younger, you kind of ignored things and you never thought about it. But definitely as I’ve gotten older – I’ve been twice this week – I go twice a year to get my moles checked.

“When we were young, we didn’t know the dangers of sunbathing and my dad’s in the army so we were abroad a lot running around in the sun. I remember sunscreen being around but not smothering it on.”

Pointing at her skin, Ruth then revealed: “I’ve just had a little thing done here this week but it’s nothing to worry about because it’s been checked.”

Co-star Coleen pointed out: “Didn’t you go green earlier” to which Ruth replied: “I did go green but it’s gone now. I don’t know what that was, maybe because it was early morning.”
