From ‘Handsome Prince’ to Punchline Puppet: How Spitting Image’s Savage Parody of Prince Harry Snorting Catastrophic Cocaine with Paddington Bear Has Sparked Fury, Laughter, and Legal Panic in Montecito — Inside the Viral Skewering That May Be the Most Brutal Royal Takedown of the Decade

There was a time when Prince Harry was the dashing, rebellious darling of the British monarchy. But that era is dead—and buried beneath a mound of catastrophic cocaine, courtesy of Spitting Image.

Prince Harry finally confesses why he can't forgive his father, Charles III

In its most savage resurrection yet, the infamous British puppet satire show has returned with an explosive new target: Prince Harry himself. And this time, it’s personal. The once-glamorous Duke of Sussex is now a goggle-eyed, balding caricature, mercilessly lampooned as a confused, vain, emotionally fragile man-child hosting a fictional left-wing podcast called The Rest Is [Bleep] — and the internet can’t get enough.

The brutal parody features Harry interviewing none other than Paddington Bear about his secret to eternal confidence and glow. The answer? “Catastrophic cocaine.”

“Yes, I’ve tried it and the results were incredible,” Paddington proclaims, his little bear paws gesturing wildly. “I became interesting, confident. I had so many ideas I couldn’t keep track of them. And I couldn’t tell you how attractive I was. It was like I wasn’t ginger anymore.”

For longtime royal watchers, the clip isn’t just hilarious—it’s radioactive. Sources close to Montecito insiders say the Duke “lost it” when he saw the video trending online. “There were tantrums. Shouting. And yes, lawyers were called,” according to reports from royal commentator Taz and confirmed by royal biographer Angela Levin, who joined Outspoken for a scathing breakdown.

But that’s just the opening act.

Prince Harry struggles to find meaningful role in America: experts | Fox News

The puppet Harry continues to unravel, admitting that he doesn’t even start his day—his butler Perkins does. “He wakes up at 5 a.m. and does a 10K for me,” says puppet-Harry. “Then he Googles to check if I’m still fifth in line to the throne.”

Even Meghan doesn’t escape unscathed. The puppet Harry shudders at her “rank smoothies” while Perkins prepares him a bacon sandwich as backup. Their kids? “A lot for Perkins to do,” Harry sighs. Even their Netflix deal is a punchline—he claims it “has about $9 million in it.”

But the most vicious satire may come from the surprise guest in Harry’s podcast universe: Elon Musk.

Joining via “Starlink,” the puppet Musk boasts about his newest child, “Excel System Era 9,” one of 28 cloned organ donors. When Paddington Bear praises Musk for cutting governments down to size, Musk smirks, “I’m trying to do the same with my family.” Harry replies: “Same here.”

It’s no coincidence. This is Spitting Image at its most calculated and cruel. The show is reinventing itself for Gen Z and TikTok virality, with fast-paced sketches, grotesque puppets, and a take-no-prisoners attitude. And this time, Prince Harry isn’t the charming outcast—he’s the national joke.

Angela Levin, Harry’s longtime critic and biographer, made it clear: “He’s not going to like this. He doesn’t laugh at himself anymore. He doesn’t cope well with being mocked.” And yet, she adds, “He deserves it. This is where he’s ended up.”

That descent—according to Levin and host Dan Wootton—isn’t just figurative. The real Harry, they argue, has become directionless, emotionally unstable, and entirely dependent on Meghan. “He doesn’t know how to function anymore. He’s lost touch with the world,” Levin says. “And this satire is only holding up a mirror.”

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle has been attempting to counter the narrative with a PR push on Instagram, posting about their “cupcake tradition” from their second date and sharing videos of her arranging suspiciously decorative fruit platters. But critics didn’t buy it—literally or figuratively.

Royal commentator Angela Levin wasn’t fooled: “It’s all pretense. All for show. Even those little white flowers around the fruit? Poisonous, I’ve been told. Maybe that’s the point.” She laughed darkly. “And the way she was fondling the ice with her bare hands? Utterly unhygienic.”

The satire show’s resurgence has reopened older wounds too—especially when a clip of Harry’s interview with 60 Minutes’ Anderson Cooper went viral again this week. In it, Harry accuses Queen Camilla of being “dangerous,” claiming she needed to rehabilitate her image and was “trading information with the press.”

Angela Levin is livid. “It’s disgusting. Camilla never did that. She helped Catherine. She tried to help Meghan. And Meghan sneered in her face. Charles was devastated by what Harry said. He’s never forgiven him.”

What’s perhaps most ironic, Wootton notes, is that while Harry is being mocked for a fake podcast, his real one never got off the ground. Despite Spotify’s multimillion-dollar investment, he and Meghan failed to deliver consistent content. “They gave him idea after idea,” Wootton said. “He couldn’t commit to a single one.”

Meghan Markle shares adorable story behind July 4 family tradition with Prince Harry - Hindustan Times

Instead, Harry now finds himself mocked by puppets, stripped of his royal glamour, his masculinity questioned, his marriage ridiculed, and his relevance slipping. Even Elon Musk’s puppet jokes about him being “too much genius for one planet,” while sharing cocaine advice with Paddington Bear.

Angela Levin sums it up: “Harry is lost. His world is confusion, bitterness, and insecurity. And what Spitting Image has done is pull the curtain back—not with venom, but with satire. That’s what makes it so devastating.”

The final dagger? A reminder that Spitting Image isn’t some fringe operation. During its heyday from 1984 to 1996, it racked up over 15 million viewers. And now, with its edgy, unapologetic reboot targeting royals and tech billionaires alike, it’s poised to go viral all over again.

Prince Harry may have left the Firm. But he hasn’t escaped the laughter.

Because in 2025, satire still reigns in Britain. And not even a $100 million Netflix deal can protect you from a puppet.

  • “Back Off, Macron!”: French President Slammed for ‘Creepy’ Flirting with Princess Catherine During State Dinner as Outrage Grows Over Winks, Hand-Kissing, and ‘Sleazy Behavior’—William Steps in, Meghan Melts Down, and Harry Faces Crushing Cash Crisis While Catherine Shines in Showstopping Royal Return That Has the World Talking

“Back Off, Macron!”: French President Slammed for ‘Creepy’ Flirting with Princess Catherine During State Dinner as Outrage Grows Over Winks, Hand-Kissing, and ‘Sleazy Behavior’—William Steps in, Meghan Melts Down, and Harry Faces Crushing Cash Crisis While Catherine Shines in Showstopping Royal Return That Has the World Talking

In a moment that has ignited a media firestorm across the UK and beyond, French President Emmanuel Macron is facing mounting backlash for what many are calling “inappropriate,” “sleazy,” and “downright creepy” behavior toward Catherine, Princess of Wales, during her dazzling return to the world stage at a state dinner last week.

"Creepy & sleazy!" Prince William's fury as winking President Macron FLIRTS with Princess Catherine

The glamorous event, held at Windsor Castle, marked Princess Catherine’s first formal appearance in a tiara since her cancer diagnosis—a moment meant to spotlight her strength, elegance, and unwavering royal commitment. But instead, it was hijacked by the behavior of one very short man with very questionable manners.

A Royal Return Overshadowed by Flirtation

As Catherine stepped into the spotlight—clad in a showstopping Dior gown and looking every inch the future Queen—all eyes should have been on her triumph. Instead, footage emerged of Macron grinning, winking, and even kissing her hand in full view of cameras and his wife, Brigitte Macron, who stood nearby with a smile that did little to ease the growing discomfort.

    The internet lit up.

“He’s a creep,” one viewer posted. “Flirting with a married woman—ON CAMERA—at a state dinner? Have some respect.”

Royal expert Angela Levin put it plainly: “Macron winking at Princess Catherine is extremely rude.” Another commentator went further: “He’s vile. Deport.”

Even host Dan Wootton couldn’t hide his disgust on his Outspoken broadcast. “You little 5’7 horn dog,” he blasted. “Stay away from our Princess of Wales and don’t mess with William, who’s 6’3 and very aware of what’s going on.”

    Prince William Subtly Strikes Back

Creepy & sleazy!" Prince William's fury as winking President Macron FLIRTS with Princess Catherine - YouTube

As it turns out, William was not amused. According to lip readers hired by The Sun, during a brief chat between King Charles and Macron, the French President remarked, “He [William] is incredibly tall.” Charles agreed before William calmly asserted, “Actually, I’m 6’3.” Macron, awkwardly, replied, “Unlike us, we’re short.”

It wasn’t just a joke—it was a clear territorial line. William, known for his diplomacy, had just sent a message: back off.

Catherine’s Subtle Shade at Meghan Markle

But Catherine wasn’t just fending off foreign flirtation—she may have also been sending signals closer to home. Her daytime Dior ensemble bore a striking resemblance to a look once worn by Meghan Markle, famously parodied by South Park in their brutal takedown of the Sussexes.

Royal fans immediately picked up on it.

“She wore it better,” one posted. “This is Catherine reasserting quiet dominance.”

Dan Wootton agreed. “It’s a nod,” he said. “A classy, subtle, ‘I’m still the real royal’ moment.”

Harry and Meghan’s Meltdown from Afar

While Catherine basked in global praise, Harry and Meghan were notably absent—and visibly unraveling.

According to sources cited on Outspoken, the Sussexes are in the midst of a full-blown cash crisis. Netflix deals have stalled, Spotify is gone, staff are being let go, and the couple’s inner circle is shrinking fast.

Even Drew Barrymore, once friendly with Meghan, has reportedly distanced herself—frustrated by Meghan’s insistence on being called “Meghan, Duchess of Sussex” and disturbed by whispers about how the former actress treats her staff.

“People are seeing her true colors,” a Hollywood insider shared. “And they’re not impressed.”

    A Financial Cliff Edge

What’s more, Harry has lost his UK security case, meaning he’ll now foot his own multimillion-pound protection bill. Legal fees are stacking up. Private jets are no longer on loan due to climate hypocrisy backlash. And yes—he may even owe the British courts nearly £1 million.

“He’s depressed,” said a source close to the situation. “He’s realizing he gave up everything and got… nothing in return. No real purpose. No royal role. No A-list respect. And now, no money.”

Meghan’s July 4 Video Adds Fuel to the Fire

To make matters worse, Meghan’s July 4th “celebration” video included no footage of Harry or their children—just her, berries, slow-motion posing, and what critics called “a pathetic attempt to appear fine.”

Royal watchers were quick to call out the fakery.

“If things are so perfect, why are you using old Netflix photos of Harry to prove it?” one wrote. “Where’s your real family? Where’s Harry? Where are the kids?”

Wootton summed it up succinctly: “She’s not with Harry. She’s not with the kids. She’s trying to sell a fantasy that no one’s buying anymore.”

    “They’ve Lost Everything”

As the royals hosted a glittering event attended by world leaders, Meghan and Harry were reportedly hunkered down in Montecito, watching from the sidelines—no invitations, no roles, no respect.

“They’ve lost it all,” said guest commentator P Diner. “No brand, no royal access, and not even the celebrity support they once banked on.”

“And when money dries up,” she added, “so do marriages. Financial stress is the leading cause of divorce in America—and theirs was shaky to begin with.”

    Final Thought: Good vs. Grift

In a world saturated with spin, the contrast couldn’t be starker. On one side: William and Catherine—recovered, resplendent, and resurgent. On the other: Harry and Meghan—unmoored, unfunded, and increasingly irrelevant.

“Good is winning over grift,” one royal fan posted. “The real royals have risen. The pretenders have fallen.”

    And as for Macron?

Message received: Keep your eyes—and your winks—off the Princess of Wales.

Peter Andre’s wife, Emily MacDonagh, has broken her silence after Katie Price’s raging rant

Peter Andre’s wife, Emily MacDonagh, has broken her silence after Katie Price’s raging rant about Princess’ birthday. Last week, the Pricey, 47, lashed out at her ex, Pete, and his management for allegedly not allowing her to go to her daughter’s 18th party.

Speaking to her sister, Sophie, on their podcast on Princess’ big day, she said of her daughter’s new reality TV show: “Everyone knows she’s doing this documentary – and I’m not in it. Certain people don’t think it’s good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me.”

Princess’ stepmum, Emily, who shares three kids with Pete, never speaks out about Katie and rarely mentions her stepchildren publicly. However, she’s now broken her silence after the glamour icon’s rant in a candid chat with Giovanna Fletcher.

Speaking on the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, Emily says she knows she’s not Princess and Junior’s mum, so instead tries to be “more like a big sister”.

She said “I always feel like, you know, I’m not their mum, and that’s something I always have to make sure I tread carefully with. I always see it, I think I would see it a bit more like being a big sister.”

Emily continued: “I don’t know if that’s the right way to look at it, but I think, you know, I always try and give them guidance, but I wouldn’t overstep that. I obviously try and support them like I would do with my own kids.

    Katie Price and Princess

“I always try and be the same. I’m quite strict though, on my kids. That’s what I would say to the older kids -it’s lucky there’s an age gap, you know? Because then you guys don’t need to worry about, like, silly rules I have – screen time and stuff like that. I’m like, you guys can be exempt because you’re older. The age gap is enough that my kids don’t ask the question, ‘Well, why are they allowed to have the screens?”’

Katie was not happy last week when she complained she’d been unfairly treated over her daughter, Princess. Kicking off her podcast with a birthday wish for her eldest daughter, the OnlyFans star stated: “Princess is now officially an adult so mummy and Princess can now go out together. If certain people would let her be seen with me.

“Everyone knows she’s doing this documentary – and I’m not in it. Certain people don’t think it’s good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me.”

“You aren’t on brand Katie. You are too risky Katie that’s why,” her sister retorted. “It’s pathetic. I’m her mother,” Katie snapped back.

“It’s so sad,” she lamented. “When certain people who used to look after me are now looking after…” Katie was then cut off by sister Sophie who encouraged her to “save it for another day.”

Katie Price has paid eldest son Harvey a visit with his college life up in the air. The former glamour model made the trip to see the 23-year-old at his accommodation after it was claimed the local authority had cut his funding.

Harvey has ADHD, autism, genetic condition Prader-Willi Syndrome, and septo-optic dysplasia, which causes blindness. And Katie recently revealed her son would be going from college into “independent living”.

She recently told how Harvey is going “into the real world “. Speaking on the Katie Price Show podcast, the mum-of-five said: “Harvey is doing the countdown for his new place. He’s got his leavers ceremony where they give out certificates and then it’s the ‘real world’ Mr Harvey Price.”

But it appears as though before he does, she paid her son a visit once more to his frog-themed room. Posting on Instagram, Katie wrote: “Visiting my Harvey at college.” She followed it up with three green love heart emojis.

The snap showed the mum-and-son pair sharing a peck as they lay on a bed. The green walls had a cartoon frog painted on, showing off Harvey’s love for the animal. There was also a pillow with his smiling face on.

Katie’s followers loved the update and gushed in the comments section. One user wrote: “Beautiful Harvey watched him grow from his first photo shoot with ok.” Another added: “A bond no one will ever break,” alongside a love heart and frog emoji.

In May, Harvey celebrated turning 23 with a frog-themed party. Katie shared the occasion on her Instagram, with photo upload of her son wearing a frog head band. She said he was “so happy” to celebrate the milestone.

Previously, Katie – who shares Harvey with former Manchester United footballer Dwight Yorke- had explained that her son “got bored” at the residential college and often wanted to come home.

But he is now set for a change of scenery as his temporary accommodation in Southampton is ready for September before something nearer to his mum is sorted from October.

“I’ve found him a place in Southampton which is temporary,” Katie said. “It’s got five other adults in it. Then he moves to his place in October, which is Littlehampton, which will be nearer to be. He’s going from college to independent living.”

Katie, who lives in Horsham, West Sussex, had previously said: “Harvey is supposed to be moving in four-and-a-half weeks, they’ve (the college) changed management and said they won’t be able to cater for Harv, because he’s too difficult. So now I’ve got to find another placement for him… so yeah, more drama to deal with.”

Later in the show, she added: “We worked months and months for that and he was told four-and-a-half weeks before that he couldn’t go there, and Harvey has been doing the countdown.

“Well it’s stressful because you want the right thing for your child and it is a lot of time and effort to go back and do more meetings, more forms, it is very time-consuming because you want the best for your child.”

French President Emmanuel Macron was caught winking at Kate Middleton as the two sat side by side at a star-studded stage banquet.

They were joined by the likes of Sir Mick Jagger and Sir Elton John at the party hosted by King Charles at Windsor Castle.

During the dinner Macron and the Princess of Wales were pictured clinking glasses as he gave her a cheeky wink as they sat amongst music royalty.

Rolling Stones’ front Mick was accompanied by his fiancée Melanie Hamrick, while the Crocodile Rock crooner Sir Elton was joined by his husband David Furnish for the lavish Royal festivity.

Sir Elton, renowned for hosting his own annual white-tie and tiara charity ball, was among the 160 guests who congregated at the King’s Royal white-tie event in honour of French president Macron and his wife Brigitte. Both musicians have residences in France and Sir Elton also owns a home in nearby Old Windsor.

Sir Elton is famously known for performing Candle In The Wind, reworded as Goodbye England’s Rose, at the funeral of the King’s first wife Diana, Princess of Wales, and he shares a close bond with the Duke of Sussex – Charles’s youngest son with whom the King has a strained relationship.

Other distinguished attendees who graced the sparkling banquet with Charles, the Queen and the Prince and Princess of Wales included actress Dame Kristin Scott Thomas, former England goalkeeper Mary Earps, who currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain, authors Joanne Harris and Sebastian Faulks, sculptor Sir Antony Gormley and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and his wife Lady Victoria Starmer.

At the regal banquet, King Charles found himself between President Macron and French culture minister Rachida Dati, while Princess Kate graced her first state dinner in almost two years beside the French leader and art historian Christophe Leribault of the Musee D’Orsay.

Queen Consort Camilla was spotted across the table, flanked by Mrs Macron and French armed forces minister Sebastien Lecornu. Adjacent to First Lady Brigitte Macron was the Prince of Wales, William.

Rock legend Sir Mick Jagger, identified at his setting by the formal white place card “Sir Michael Jagger”, enjoyed the company of Dame Kristin Scott Thomas and Alice Rufo, a top official from the French ministry for the armed forces.

Vision-impaired Sir Elton John broke tradition, sitting next to his husband instead of being separated as is customary at such events, with the Duchess of Gloucester on his other side. The iconic singer has been suffering with severe vision issues after contracting an eye infection. Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer found himself alongside football star Mary Earps.

Adding a touch of television charm, ‘First Dates’ maître d’ Fred Sirieix attended, and French pop sensation Mika was seated by the Duchess of Edinburgh.

Before the event, William and Kate gave a sneak peek of their outfits by posting a photo of themselves on social media with the caption: “Ready for what promises to be a wonderful State Banquet this evening in Windsor.”

Kate also wore her Royal Family order from King Charles for the first time and brought a lily of the valley embroided evening clutch. She was seated next to President Macron and the pair chatted ahead of the start of the King’s toast, while on her other side was art historian Christophe Leribault, chairman of the Musee D’Orsay. Kate studied history of art at university.

Other royals joining the dinner tonight were Edward and Sophie, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh as well as Princess Anne and her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence.

Queen Camilla wore an ivory silk and crepe evening gown by Fiona Clare and a diamond and sapphire tiara that belonged to the late Queen. She also wore the Legion d’Honeur French sash, Garter Star and the King’s family order.

The menu, which was created by French chef Raymond Blanc, began with a selection of tender summer vegetables from the Gardens of Le Manoir with Sage, Raw Tomato and Extra Virgin Olive Oil Dressing.

The next course was Supreme of Rhug Estate Chicken with Norfolk Asparagus and Tarragon Cream, followed by Iced Blackcurrant Parfait on a Blackcurrant-soaked Sponge with Elderflower Jelly for dessert. Buckingham Palace described the collaboration as being “in the spirit of the Entente Cordial”.

In a tradition started by the King, a cocktail was also created specially for the occasion, this time called L’entente. It combines British gin with lemon curd and French pastis, garnished with dried French cornflowers and English roses.

Nicola shared her older sibling’s announcement with her followers too, saying it was the “best news ever”. She also commented on the couple’s post: “KENYA JONES PELTZ!!!!!!! MY FOREVER SISTER!!!! IM SO HAPPY I LOVE YOU BOTH!!!!!”

It comes after Brooklyn and Nicola were seen celebrating with some of her family on holiday in France in a video shared by her yesterday. The couple, who are understood to have been onboard a yacht whilst on the summer vacation, have been spotted out in Saint-Tropez this month.

It’s thought that Nicola’s parents Nelson Peltz, 83, and Claudia Peltz, 70, are among the other guests on the trip abroad. Nicola confirmed that Will and their brother Zach Peltz, 22, were with her in posts uploaded earlier this week.

Brooklyn is said to have grown “so close” to his in-laws and it’s been suggested that he “doesn’t really feel like he fits into” his own family at the moment. It comes amid speculation of a rift between Brooklyn and his parents, David Beckham, 50, and Victoria Beckham, 51, over recent months.

Katie Price has been blasted by Peta after footage emerged of one of her bald cats with sunburn in the recent heatwave

Reality star Katie Price has been blasted for letting one of her £2,000-a-pop bald cats get sunburnt during the last heatwave.

The star – branded a “serial killer” by charity Peta over the deaths of at least eight of her animals – has five sphynxes. In a video, she showed one with a red head and back.

Stroking the cat, she said: “Oh Kevin you have been in the sun today, you have got sun burnt despite us putting sun cream on you… look at his little face.” The caption accompanying the video said: “Trying to keep the cats out of the sun is hard work.”

But Peta’s Elisa Allen claimed the former model had repeatedly ignored advice on pet care. She said: “Anyone who warns Katie not to hurt the animals she takes in might as well be screaming into the wind, for all she seems to care. And here we go again: her cat is sunburnt – something she was likely warned about when acquiring a gimmick cat, bred to look odd and be hairless.”

Peta says cats with “light or no fur can burn easily, which is just one reason to keep them indoors.” It adds: “If they do go into a secure garden, apply vet-approved sunscreen and ensure they have plenty of shade. Cat guardians must stay alert, if you spot redness, swelling, or signs of infection, seek veterinary care immediately.”

The charity has previously called for an injunction to stop Katie from having animals. It also offered her £5,000 to never acquire more animals, following multiple tragic deaths.

Four dogs – Blade, Queenie, Sharon and Sparkle – were killed by cars near her home. And one of Katie’s horses was hit by a car and killed in 2017 after escaping from a field. In 2020, dog Rolo suffocated in her home after getting stuck in an electric armchair. Katie admitted giving him cannabis oil, but said she was unaware it was illegal to do so without a vet prescription.

The mum-of-five has also announced the death of a chameleon and told how she had to put down another designer cat, Frog. “He had a neurological disease’” she wrote in her memoir. “Within days it had spread through his body. So I cuddled him in my arms and he had to be put to sleep.”

In February, she hit back at critics of her record with animals, saying: ‘It’s circumstances that were out of my hands. It’s no lack of me not looking after them. I love animals, I love nurturing.”

Katie’s representatives were contacted for comment.

Strictly bosses have vetoed Paul Burrell appearing on Strictly Come Dancing – as they’re worried about upsetting Queen Camilla. Sources claim the former Royal butler has been mooted as a possible contestant over the last few years.

But execs fear it would land badly with the Palace and have dismissed the idea. A source told us: “They know how much Queen Camilla loves the show and would love for her to appear in the audience…..but they fear that Paul’s involvement would scupper that relationship.”

Burrell has previously faced accusations that he has cashed in on his relationship with the late Princess of Wales, which he has denied. But the BBC show does have strong links with the Palace.

Queen Camilla, who attends Silver Swans – classes for elderly ballet dancers run by the Royal Academy of Dance – has described herself as one of the show’s “greatest fans”.

She once told Strictly professional dancer Johannes Radebe ‘we all watch it’. Host Tess Daly’s husband Vernon Kay has previously talked of the ‘real friendship’ that has formed between his wife and Her Majesty, with the Queen even keen to know what goes on behind-the-scenes.

Kay, 51, said: “Camilla and Tess have a real friendship through it now. They don’t text, but we have mutual friends and messages come through. When they see each other, the Queen is always asking: ‘Who is your favourite?’ She wants to know the backstage gossip.

“It’s crazy to think of the King and Queen sat on the sofa with a brew watching your wife present Strictly.”

Camilla also hosted a palace tea party for Strictly where she danced with former professional Brendan Cole and also filmed a video message for the 2020 final, which was won by Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse.

Many pointed to the fact that Strictly hosts Claudia Winkleman and Daly were this month recognised in the King’s Birthday Honours. Winkleman, 53, and 56-year-old Daly have co-hosted the series since 2014.

Gregg Wallace fired over BBC MasterChef inappropriate comments as he breaks silence

Gregg Wallace has been axed after he was accused of making inappropriate sexual comments and jokes over a 13-year period on the BBC show

Gregg Wallace has been axed by the BBC after a nearly year-long investigation into misconduct claims. The MasterChef star hit the headlines in December when he was accused of making inappropriate sexual comments and jokes over a 13-year period.

It comes after 50 people made fresh misconduct claims against the TV presenter, according to BBC News. The 60-year-old has denied all allegations.

The former greengrocer has put out a statement on Instagram today, saying he has been exonerated of the most serious allegations levelled against him, after reportedly being informed of his dismissal from the BBC by production company, Banijay.

In a statement on Instagram today, Gregg wrote: “I have taken the decision to speak out ahead of the publication of the Silkins report – a decision I do not take lightly. But after 21 years of loyal service to the BBC, I cannot sit in silence while my reputation is further damaged to protect others. I have now been cleared by the Silkins report of the most serious and sensational accusations made against me.

“The most damaging claims (including allegations from public figures, which have not been upheld) were found to be baseless after a full and forensic six-month investigation.” Was the BBC right to sack Gregg Wallace? Vote in our poll HERE to have your say.

The lengthy statement then accuses the BBC of “peddling sensationalised gossip masquerading as properly corroborated stories, as Gregg continues: “To be clear, the Silkin’s Report exonerates me of all the serious allegations which made headlines last year and finds me primarily guilty of inappropriate language between 2005 and 2018. I recognise that some of my humour and language, at times, was inappropriate. For that, I apologise without reservation. But I was never the caricature now being sold for clicks.”

The Silkins report is officially due out on Thursday, but the dad-of-three’s legal team have been given an early steer, according to insiders.

He slammed the BBC in his furious post
A source told The Sun: “Gregg is both furious and devastated about how things have played out.

“His team have seen the report and believe he is cleared of the most serious wrongdoing allegations, so he has taken great consolation from that.

“Whilst he is not excusing his inappropriate comments and innuendos – some of which he has been found against – on his recent autism diagnosis, this has been a mitigating factor.

He said he ‘could no longer sit in silence’“He has also been cleared of some of the higher profile allegations, including those brought on by Penny Lancaster and Kirsty Wark, but the BBC has made it clear there is no way back for him. He is devastated.”

A series of complaints were made about the MasterChef last year, including ‘inappropriate behaviour’ and allegations of touching an assistant’s bottom on the BBC show.

Gregg stepped down from the show after denying the allegations, with his lawyers strongly denying Gregg engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature. Gregg insisted via his legal team: “It is entirely false that he engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature.”

A BBC spokesperson told The Mirror: “Banijay UK instructed the law firm Lewis Silkin to run an investigation into allegations against Gregg Wallace. We are not going to comment until the investigation is complete and the findings are published.”

Gregg Wallace sacked by BBC’s MasterChef as 50 more people make claims about host

Ex MasterChef host Gregg Wallace is reportedly facing fresh claims of misconduct from 50 people, which he strongly denies, as he’s axed from the BBC cooking show

Former MasterChef host Gregg Wallace is facing fresh misconduct claims from 50 more people, with the presenter denying all allegations. The presenter was sacked from his role in MasterChef following a probe into alleged misconduct.

Now, 50 people have approached the BBC with fresh claims about Wallace, BBC News has reported. Wallace has strongly denied all claims. The new claims are said to have come from people who encountered Wallace on a range of shows and settings. Eleven women have accused him of inappropriate sexual behaviour, while the majority claimed he made inappropriate sexual comments.

One woman, whose name has been changed to Alice, claimed Wallace took his trousers down in front of her. She claimed it was “disgusting and predatory” behaviour. Another woman, who has been named Sophie, said she felt “absolutely horrified” and “quite sick” when Wallace allegedly groped her. Other people who have come forward are said to include a participant on BBC’s Sunday Kitchen, who said Wallace touched her groin under a table ahead of filming.

A university student claimed she met Wallace in a nightclub with friends in 2013 and after she asked for a photo with him, he allegedly reached up her skirt and pinched her bottom.

One woman alleged Wallace put his hand up her dress and groped her at an industry ball in 2014 while a junior worker claimed he dropped his trousers and wasn’t wearing underwear.

A number of men have reportedly claimed they witnessed Wallace making inappropriate sexual comments. Recent claims made to the BBC are said to include a 19-year-old MasterChef worker who tried to complain about Wallace’s comments about her body in 2022.

A former policeman also reportedly tried to raise concerns about Wallace’s sexually inappropriate language to the BBC in 2023. Many of those who have made the complaints are young female freelancers who say they did not feel they could complain about Wallace without negative career repercussions.

Alice claimed she did raise concerns but they were dismissed when she worked on MasterChef between 2011 and 2013. She immediately reported Wallace allegedly dropping his trousers without wearing any underwear.

The woman claims she was told by a senior member of Shine’s production team: “You’re over 16, you’re not being ‘Jimmy Saviled’.” Another woman, who has been named Anna, claimed Wallace pulled his trousers down in front of her during a photo shoot in 2012.

She claimed she could see he was not wearing underwear but felt she could not make a complaint as she was relatively junior. Anna has decided to speak up after she was left furious by Wallace’s social media post last year.

He claimed the allegations against him had come from “a handful of middle-class women of a certain age”. A publicist named Esther told the BBC about an alleged incident where Wallace pushed his way into her hotel room.

She claims he took off his clothes and asked: “Exactly what is it that you do?” Esther said she told Wallace she was not interested and claimed Wallace climbed into her bed and fell asleep.

The woman said she didn’t know what to do and decided to sleep at the edge of her bed with her clothes on. Wallace allegedly put his hand on her bottom when he woke and told her she had a “nice arse”.

In a lengthy statement on Instagram today, Wallace wrote: “I have taken the decision to speak out ahead of the publication of the Silkins report – a decision I do not take lightly. But after 21 years of loyal service to the BBC, I cannot sit in silence while my reputation is further damaged to protect others. I have now been cleared by the Silkins report of the most serious and sensational accusations made against me.
