Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood is often dubbed the Simon Cowell of the ITV dance floor. But despite his on-screen cold demeanour, Craig is a fan favourite, and much like Marmite, viewers either love or hate him.

Away from the show, Craig, 59, is far from idle, juggling various work commitments and a busy personal life with his fiancé, horticulturalist Jonathan Myring, 37, reports OK! The Aussie-Brit telly star opened up to The Sun about his romance with Jonathan in March 2018, saying: “He’s good looking, 5ft 10in, dark hair and beard. We met on the Strictly Tour a month ago. He came to the show with a friend, and we met backstage.” As their love story flourishes, Craig hasn’t been shy about sharing details. Opening up on Loose Women, he gushed: “He is fabulous and I love him, he is absolutely gorgeous and adorable, and yes he is 20 years younger.”

Craig and Jonathan got engaged during a trip to Tasmania. Recalling the event on The Steph Show in 2021, Jonathan shared: “It was a slight disaster really. “I had a beautiful engagement planned in Tasmania, and Craig refused to go and sit on the banks of the river to look for platypus. So I had to call him to frantically call him to go…” Interrupting the story, Craig joked: “That’s because the last time we waited for platypus, it was four hours and we didn’t see one. So I wasn’t going to sit through that again, was I? All I wanted to do was go back to the hotel and have a bubble bath.

“Well I jumped in the bubble bath and then Jonathan jumped in with me and proposed in the bubble bath with a glass of Champagne.” Revealing the news in an exclusive chat with OK! in April 2020, Craig was clearly smitten as he gushed about his fiancé and their unique proposal. “There’s such comfort in knowing you have somebody that loves you and wants to spend the rest of their life with you,” he said. “I feel like I have someone who has my back and I’ve got theirs.”

Previously, Craig was linked romantically to Britain’s Got Talent puppeteer Damon Scott, but the pair called it quits in 2016. Not all fans might be aware, but the TV star has walked down the aisle before. Way back in 1990, he tied the knot with Jane Horwood, although they sadly split after just two years. Speaking to WalesOnline, Craig opened up about his first marriage, saying: “Despite the perfect wedding, the marriage, as it turned out, was not quite so flawless. It didn’t last, mainly because our sex life diminished somewhat and I suppose that led to the inevitable scenario – Jane slept with someone else.

“I discovered the affair just before our two-year anniversary. ” Despite the rocky end to their marriage, both parties maintain they’ve remained friends, with Jane even managing Craig’s website. He continued: “We are friends now, Jane and I, but it wasn’t very amicable at the time. Now we can go out for lunch and talk about life honestly. I love her deeply as a friend, now and forever, and wish her all the happiness in the world.”

Dame Kelly has been candid about going through the menopause

Dame Kelly Holmes, the double gold medalist for Great Britain at the 2004 Summer Olympics in the Women’s 1500m and 800m races, has always been in sync with her body. Since retiring from athletics, she has made a name for herself as a health and fitness advocate, sports commentator and recently, a panellist on Loose Women. However, despite her confident TV persona, Kelly, now 54, has been privately battling with the menopause – confessing to us that she’d been “in denial” about it. “About three years ago, I was getting bad body pains to the point where I couldn’t even do one push-up,” she reveals.

“If anyone knows me, they know I keep myself fit. So to not be able to do one push-up was alarming. The worst pains were in my wrists, then I ached through to my bones. It was just constant pain, I could feel it in my body the whole time.” Alongside this, Kelly was also dealing with insomnia, but was unaware at the time of the connection between hormonal changes and sleep disturbance. As her symptoms persisted, the Olympian was advised to undergo tests to determine if she was menopausal.

“I did the blood tests, reluctantly, because again, I was in denial of my age and now I realise that’s almost a naive thing to think, as you could experience the menopause from late thirties upwards,” she admits, reports OK!.

In seeking treatment, the sportswoman sought out a private doctor’s opinion. She recounts, “I was not in a great place mentally,” adding that she now recognises menopause likely played a role in her condition.

Her medical tests showed severely depleted oestrogen and testosterone levels, leading her physician to advise starting hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Kelly admits, “But I didn’t want to have HRT, as I didn’t want to put anything I don’t understand into my body,” yet she understood the need to give it a chance.

Her experience with HRT wasn’t favourable, prompting her to stop and turn to collagen supplements instead. “I wanted natural ways to feel better. When I started taking collagen, I felt like my body pains were alleviating.”

These days, feeling more positive, Kelly is dedicated to enlightening other women about the benefits of exercise, particularly weight lifting to combat muscle loss due to declining oestrogen. She states, “It’s brilliant doing fitness when you’ve been feeling low and it’s important when you’re getting weaker. So weight training has become something important to me.”

Offering her advice to others experiencing menopause symptoms, Kelly stresses the importance of dialogue and proactive health care: “Conversation is key. And those of you who are suffering, just book that appointment with a doctor. It can really make a huge difference.”

Teasing what was to come on Monday’s episode (October 21), Ruth Langsford spoke to Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard on This Morning about what viewers could expect – including a star appearance from actress Emily Atack.

The Inbetweeners star is currently starring in Rivals on Disney +. Emily appears on the fan favourite wearing absolutely nothing. In Support of Emily, Coleen boldly went naked in the preview clip, leaving Ben in the ITV studio blushing.

Ruth kicked off announcing: “You might wonder as I said, why we are standing behind this hedge, well we are loving telly’s newest bonk-buster Rivals.”

She added: “Emily Atack is here to give us all the behind the scenes gossip and someone here is very excited.”

Coleen bares all on Loose Women

Coleen popped up with a cheeky grin, barring her naked shoulders as she asked: “Anyone for tennis Ben?” As she shot a tennis ball across the studio.

Hitting back, the Tipping Point host smacked the ball with his own tennis racket in the This Morning HQ declaring: “Never trust Coleen with balls. They can go everywhere”

Everyone burst into laughter as the Nolan’s hitmaker aired: “Don’t you know it.” Making sure Coleen didn’t suffer a red faced moment, Ben prompted: “Ladies your hedge has dropped,” as they quickly lifted it up again.

Confirming she was naked, Coleen quipped in response: “You don’t need to see these.” It isn’t Coleen’s first naked stint on-air after she’d previously taken part in Ashley Banjo’s The Real Full Monty, taking off her kit in the spirit of charity and raising awareness for Breast Cancer in support of her two sisters.

Sadly, Bernie lost her battle with the disease in 2013, but Coleen’s other sister Linda battles another day after being told earlier this year her cancer had now spread to her brain.

Back in September last year, Coleen also appeared on social media in the buff to promote her upcoming tour. She had been teasing that she had something to share with her fans and then finally revealed all – quite literally.

On Instagram, Coleen revealed that her first solo tour was about to commence in 2024. She also shared a poster for the show that detailed several different dates across the country and showed her completely starkers as she sat back in a giant teacup emblazoned with the word ‘naked.’

She announced: “Hi everybody, so I’ve got some really exciting news to share with you all! For the first time in my life I’m going on tour with my very own show! 16 dates across the UK in 2024!”

Coleen followed up with: “Please come and join us for an evening of music, life and laughter! Tickets go on sale at 9.00am.”

The ITV star divided fans with the post but one person she could rely on to have her back was son Shane Nolan. He quickly reshared his mum’s post chiming: “Here we go then, can’t wait to support @NolanColeen on tour.”

Eamonn Holmes showed his commitment to girlfriend Katie Alexander as they spent the weekend celebrating a friend’s wedding.

GB News star Eamonn, 64, was invited to TV presenter Hayley Sparkes’ marriage in Essex on Saturday, and brought Katie, 42, along as his plus one. The pair posed for pictures together with Katie appearing blissfully happy as she beamed in the smiley snaps.

A mutual friend of the couple shared the pictures of Katie and Eamonn, as well as snaps of A Place In The Sun star Laura Hamilton as guests enjoyed the nuptials and reception. Eamonn wore a simple blue suit for the event, as Katie dressed up in a strapless black gown with a white corsage applied to the front.

The outing is the latest in a string of luxury dates for Eamonn and Katie as things grow ever more serious between the pair. Eamonn appears to be making the most of his life after his divorce from Ruth Langsford, after recently setting sail on a luxury cruise with Katie – who is said to be calling him her “soulmate.”

A source previously told Heat Magazine: “Katie is telling everyone that she’s totally smitten and in love. They’ve known each other for nine years, so this isn’t a fly-by-night relationship – she’s in it for the long haul.”

The pair are said to already be in the process of finding somewhere to live together, with the source adding: “They’re now looking at places to move in together, as they want a lot more space.”

The romance comes after Eamonn has been plagued by health issues in recent years. He had a double hip replacement in 2016, but has become wheelchair bound after a back surgery. Then in January he went for a tumble and broke his shoulder, but ten months and a major divorce later, the former ITV daytime host looks set on pastures new with Katie, who is a mother to three.

The Heat Magazine source said: “Eamonn is her man, and she’s there to look after him.” Meanwhile, Loose Women star Ruth is said to be “ready to date” after the split, though the divorce proceedings are said to have “turned sour” after the shock revelation of Eamonn’s new girlfriend.

Despite this, someone with knowledge of the situation has said: “While Ruth’s making the most of being single, she’s also ready to dip her toe back into the dating pool – and after some friendly flirting, she’s given pals the go-ahead to set her up on dates.”

Emily Atack has opened up about her role in the new Disney+ version of Jilly Cooper’s steamy novel Rivals. The 34-year-old made an eye-opening debut in the series as she appears fully naked while playing tennis.

The series starts with two characters joining the mile-high club while on a flight before Emily’s show-stealing scene, all within the first 25 minutes of the star-studded series.

On Monday (October 21), Emily appeared on Loose Women to discuss her role and snapped back at critics over the nudity used in the series.

The former Inbetweeners actress said: “I read the script and they said ‘there is going to be lot of nudity are you up for this?’, I said ‘Disney, there is no way on earth that you are going to get me playing tennis!’. But honestly, It was the best job I have ever done in my life; the cast was amazing.”

Loose Women star Coleen Nolan then asked Emily: “Were you nervous when it came to the sex scenes and being naked?”

“I’m actually fine with it,” Emily replied. “It’s so funny isn’t it, because people kind of go ‘well you need to pick a lane, you can’t be somebody who does these kinds of roles and campaigns for sexual violence against women’, but people think you can’t do both.

“I am really trying to hammer this message home, saying that yes, you can. I am exactly where I need to be, at work in a professional environment.”

Emily added, “Obviously, in the past, it wasn’t always that way. We have intimacy coordinators now, and it’s heavily choreographed. We’re all having a nice time, and we’re all being professional.

“I’m doing my job; I’m not going to change what I’m doing; it’s the behaviour of other people that needs to change.”

Brenda Edwards expressed her admiration of Rivals, admitting she watched all eight episodes in one sitting. “It’s brilliant, and you are amazing,” the panellist told Emily before asking how she was dealing with the show’s backlash.

Emily responded: “It’s funny, isn’t it? As women, we are so used to having to think about our behaviour, like what we wear. We can’t go for a job after dark; we have to take a different route home.

“All we are saying is, men all of a sudden now have to look inward at their own behaviour. They have been allowed to get away with for years, some men and not all men, they can’t stand the fact they need to look inward and change their behaviour. We have had to do it forever, so it’s educating.”

Host Ruth Langford then commented: “I hope there is going to be another series”, as Emily agreed before proudly calling Rivals a piece of ‘escapism’.

In light of the harrowing news surrounding athlete Chris Hoy, Coleen Nolan has opened up about her sister, Linda

Coleen Nolan explained that her sister Linda Nolan simply “doesn’t want to know how long she has left” as she continues to battle breast cancer after the news it had spread to her brain, bones, and liver.

The former Nolans star, 59, decided to open up about her family situation after Sir Chris Hoy announced his cancer was terminal. Having lost one family member to Cancer – Bernie Nolan – who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2013, Coleen knows the pain that the Hoy family is suffering right now.

Speaking about Chris’ shock diagnosis on Tuesday’s (October 22) episode of Loose Women, the former songstress told the rest of the panel that she “understood” how the cyclist and his family may be feeling at this time.

It was at this point that she addressed her sister Linda, who is currently battling with the disease every day. Updating on her situation, she told the panel, audience, and viewers: “I know my sister Linda at the moment, who’s been amazing and is still amazing, I’m in awe of her every day.

Coleen was in “shock” over Chris Hoy’s diagnosis

“But I know, for her, one of the things she doesn’t want to know is how long she’s got left. Because she feels that once she’s given that prognosis that it would probably make her just give up trying to live.”

Wearing her heart on her sleeve, Coleen updated: “At the moment, she’s still having treatment and that’s what’s keeping her going you know, ‘as long as they’re still going to treat me then I’m going to keep on going’.”

Coleen updated on her sister Linda’s cancer battle

Despite Linda’s positivity and ongoing treatment, Coleen had noted a few instances of recent where she’d felt her sister may have considered “not being here” anymore.

She went on to say: “But she does say more often than not now, she’ll say things like ‘well no, let’s do that this week because I might not be here next week. Or she’ll say she’s now doing more because she’s ‘living each day like it might be my last day’ and ‘I might not have tomorrow’ so that mindset has changed.”

Coleen and her famous family have been plagued with cancer scares and individual battles – even the ITV television personality herself was using cream for skin cancer a few years back and her other sister Annie is also now cancer-free.

Despite the turmoil the disease has caused to her and her family, she is still “shocked” to learn of others suffering from cancer. She told the panel: “I was still shocked to learn about Chris, you know he was such a fit and athletic man that you just don’t think this can happen.”

Loose Women star Ruth Langsford made a cheeky dig at her soon to be ex husband Eamonn Holmes, during a discussion about hoarding.

The presenter, 64, announced her marriage to the GB News host was over in May, ending 14 years of marriage. And Eamonn has since moved on and is now dating Katie Alexander, who is 22 years younger than him. During a discussion about antiques, Ruth took the opportunity to jokingly poke fun at her split.

She told the studio audience: “I’m throwing out a lot of stuff out at the minute!” and on the back of her comment, the audience erupted into laughter. The mum of one’s comment comes after Eamonn was seen looking cosy with Katie as they attended a pal and fellow presenter, Hayley Sparke’s wedding.

Posing for pictures, the couple appeared full of beans as they smiled for the camera. Also in attendance was A Place In The Sun star Laura Hamilton. Katie and Eamonn’s relationship appears to be going from strength to strength as they were pictured enjoying a cruise around the Mediterranean, last month.

And she reportedly told those close that she is in it for “the long haul.” In one picture, Eamonn was spotted placing a hand lovingly on Katie’s bottom as the pair docked in the Spanish party island of Ibiza. Their lavish holiday came just four months after Eamonn and Ruth announced their split.

During their marriage, Eamonn and Ruth became fan favourites across the UK while presenting This Morning due to their openness and bickering on screen. However, while their on-screen’s spats would usually be seen as cracks in a relationship, they had always maintained it was a form of endearment.

In May, a joint statement announcing their shock split was released that read: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.” At the time, a source told The Sun: “They are determined to stay friends and keep things amicable.”

Ruth’s attempt to not become a hoarder was put into practice recently when she swiftly got rid of Eamonn’s stair lift from their home in Surrey – but she failed to inform the presenter who needed to visit his former marital home. In September, Ruth reportedly managed to exact revenge on her estranged husband Eamonn Holmes after he asked if he could pop by their former marital home to collect holiday clothes.

After agreeing, Ruth reportedly omitted that she had removed the £2,000 stairlift, making it difficult for the wheelchair user Eamonn to climb the curved staircase at his former £3.5million home in Weybridge, Surrey. At the time, Ruth was not at the property but a source told the Daily Mail: “Ruth has remained quiet and classy. Even when ­people bring up what Eamonn has been up to, she stays silent and just smiles. She thinks that is the best way. She has had a lot of support from her friends. But one thing she would see every day was the stairlift which Eamonn installed. “

They added: “Ruth doesn’t need it. She’s super-fit and healthy but she knew Eamonn probably would struggle when he had to go the house to get some bits he needed for the holiday. The bedrooms are upstairs and he needed to get to them. It might seem petty but Ruth’s friends think it is absolutely hilarious as they think he has really taken her for a ride.”

One Loose Women star found herself in trouble today when she missed the start of the show after an advert break and was given a ticking off

Loose Women star Kelle Bryan was ticked off by a fellow panellist after being late for the show.

Charlene White was hosting Thursday’s edition of the ITV lunchtime show alongside panellists, Kelle, Judi Love and Brenda Edwards. However, as the show returned from the advert break, one of them was noticeably missing.

As the show returned to screens, Charlene told Kelle off for taking too much time chatting to the audience. As the camera panned out, Kelle could be seen conversing with some of the audience members.

Charlene shouted to her: “Kelle, Kelle, you’ve got to come back!” Before adding: “I’ll tell you why Kelle’s doing it. Every time she’s on the show she says ‘hello’ to every single audience member that’s come in, which is nice.”

Charlene used the opportunity to give those watching at home details about joining them in the studio and being a part of the live audience, telling fans they could too get a chance to chat with Kelle.

Elsewhere in the show, the panellists interviewed Vanessa Feltz, who spoke about her love life and her struggles with her weight over the years. She also opened up about her brand new book.

However, she was bombarded with horrific and nasty racist abuse as a result of her appearance on the show. The show earned them a RTS Award for Daytime Programme and was branded “inspiring and refreshing” by many viewers.

“There were lots of positive comments [afterwards] but, unbelievably, there was lots of racism, lots of racist comments. Like, ‘I switched off, who do they think they are?’ ‘As soon as I saw them…’ There was still lots of that kind of stuff,” she said.

“We have a really good team at Loose who protect us from that and also the digital team are amazing at scanning and ensuring that we’re as protected as possible. But it’s still there, but that’s what we’re challenging. We’re challenging old-fashioned, out-dated mindsets that need to be challenged,” she added to The Mirror.

“So if they come out of the woodworks, we can have a conversation and go, ‘Really?! Why would you say that?’ It wasn’t even us that needed to jump on them – everybody else on Twitter was bashing them. So I was like, ‘Oh, good luck with that!’”

Former Coronation Street actor Colson Smith has cheekily “called out” a former co-star for their antics. The 26-year-old, who recently departed from the iconic ITV soap after being informed his character would face a grim end, portrayed the much-loved PC Craig Tinker for over a decade.

When he’s not on screen, Colson hosts the On the Sofa podcast alongside fellow Corrie veterans Jack P Shepherd and Ben Price. Jack has been gracing the cobbles for more than 25 years as David Platt, while Ben stepped into Nick Tilsley’s shoes back in 2009.

In a recent instalment of their podcast, Colson humorously decided it was time to “call-out” Ben for his dubious handling of their shared Wagamama’s loyalty card. With a hint of jest, Colson said: “I want to kick us off, to call out some bad friendship because one of us has been shady.”

He added with a laugh: “Now I feel like it’s two-against-one here and I’m going to say the words soul club. It’s s****y”

Colson explained the trio regularly head to the restaurant chain and “collect the stamps” to get a free starter or main course “every now and then”. Ben says the stamps “build up quite quick” when the three of them go out together.

And the last time they went out together, they discovered he had enough stamps for a free main course. Colson said: “On the last time we went for a meal, me and Jack also redeemed saving you probably £18, but we thought, ‘That’s fine because next time we go, Ben’s got a free main, that saves us, I don’t know, £4 each’.”

Ben however went to Wagamama without his co-stars, taking his daughter to the Media City branch in Salford before a live podcast show. He says the family stopped in Salford instead of Bath, where they live, ahead of the show.

Colson called the move “full s**t-house” joking Ben was “eating their money”. Jack added: “You’ve only got those stamps because it’s a joint effort.”

Ben recounted how he was offered a 10 per cent ITV worker discount at the restaurant but opted for a more economical choice, jokingly stating: “I said, ‘I think I’ve got a free main which will work out better for me.”

He continued with a laugh: “It was a thousands pounds [for] a meal for two, I redeemed the thing and it came down to £15. I think you’re right to call me out Colson.”

Jack, Ben, and Colson became friends on the set of Coronation Street and initially started their podcast as the Sofa Cinema Club, rebranding it in 2023.
