Coleen Nolan has revealed her pop star son once threatened to report her to the police when she hit him.

The 59-year-old reality star is the mother of two sons – including singer Jake Roche, 32 – and one daughter. But raising three kids could be stressful at times, and the former singer revealed she once hit her son when he started to swear at her.

Knowing his rights, Jake then threatened his mother with legal action, saying he would call the cops on her. Revealing all of the drama on Wednesday’s riveting instalment of ITV’s Loose Women, Coleen told her fellow stars that she turned the situation around on her son.

She told the rest of the ITV show’s panel: “I remember once saying to Jake – it’s always Jake, bless him – when he was about 12 or 13, he went to swear at me, and as he ran past, I clipped him, not hard. I was just ‘no’, you know? It was so shocking.”

She continued: “He went, ‘I could get you done for that’. And in my head, I thought, ‘yeah, he actually could, yeah’.” But Coleen went on to reveal she outsmarted her son, explaining: “He went, ‘I’m gonna phone them’, and I went, ‘please do, because they’ll come and take you away! They won’t take me Jake they’ll take you and I’m for that right now!’”

Coleen’s anecdote came after the Loose Women ladies waded into a debate sparked by former Hollyoaks star Gemma Atkinson. She sparked alarm when she admitted pinched her young son on social media, igniting a backlash against her. She mused to fans in an Instagram Stories post: “Really noticing the differences in how Mia was to Thiago. It’s fun to watch. Toys are just banged or slid across the floor and the tantrums are new as Mia didn’t have them. He pretend cries and throws himself on the floor. I stand and watch until he realises it’s getting him nowhere and they are slowly getting shorter. He pinches when he gets frustrated. I did it back to him on Wednesday as he did it hard to Mia. He’s not done it since.”

Following the backlash, Gemma doubled down on her approach to parenting, recounting to fans via Instagram Stories the moment her agent contacted her over the furore. She recalled: “I said, ‘Well, I just said how the differences between boys and girls and Tiago’s going through that phase at the minute where he’s nipping and biting’.

“And I said, ‘He really nipped me the other day, so I went like that.’ [She mimics lightly touching her shoulder] ‘And I said, oi! We don’t nip.’ I didn’t [mimics viciously grabbing her shoulder]. I mean, as if I would.” She then joked that she was about to go to bed, adding sarcastically: “I actually better go and get Tiago out the car. I left him in the car for about three hours. The window’s down though, so he’ll be alright, won’t he? He’s fine on the drive, I’m sure.”

Stacey Solomon has quit another one of her huge TV projects, according to reports.

The Sort Your Life Out star, 34, recently stepped down from her role as a designer for In The Style to spend more time with her family and now it’s been reported she’s left her role on Rennovation Rescue.

Stacey fronted the Channel 4 show for one season, which saw the plucky mum-of-five come to the rescue of homeowners who’d been left stranded by their builders and needed help to salvage their half-built homes.

Explaining her departure from the show, a source said: “Stacey had a great time making Renovation Rescue but the fact she isn’t doing a second series allows her to focus on her projects with the Beeb.”

With her down to earth charm and no-nonsense attitude, Stacey has a string of presenting roles under her belt. Her work on BBC’s Sort Your Life Out earned her a National Television award for Factual Entertainment, with a source telling The Sun of the episodes: “They’ve been a huge success and the NTA win is evidence that the viewing public love what she does.”

The Dagenham-born star has a legion of loyal fans, who follow her career closely. Recently they were concerned when Stacey was missing from the 25th anniversary portrait for Loose Women, which included several panellists and presenters, all wearing silver sparkly dresses.

Among those present in the studio snap are Christine Lampard, Judi Love, Katie Piper, Kelle Bryan, Frankie Bridge, Dame Kelly Holmes, Charlene White, Sunetra Sarker, and Olivia Attwood-Dack.

Stacey joined the show in 2016 and has become a favourite with fans since her first appearance. She has not commented about her absence from the photo, however she did post on X, formerly Twitter: “Happy birthday to you, Loose Women. I can’t believe you’re 25 years old and I can’t believe I get to call myself a Loose Woman, I’m such a proud Loose Woman! 25 incredible years and so many more to come. Love you loads and loads.”

Earlier this year, Stacey revealed she had stepped down from a huge role after three years to spend more time with her family. The X Factor star welcomed her fifth child, Belle, with her husband, Joe Swash, 42, last year. The couple also shares Rex, four, and Rose, two, while Stacey has 16-year-old Zachary with her ex Dean Cox and Leighton, 11, with former fiancé Aaron Barnham.

Posting a statement on her Instagram story, Stacey told fans: “Today has been a wonderful but emotional day as I shot my LAST EVER collection for In The Style. I have loved every single second of being able to design & create clothing with the most incredible team & literally bring my dreams to life.’

She continued to say that this year, she has “thought a lot about work/family balance’ and what she needs to prioritise and as a result needed to ‘give more of myself back to my family”.

In May, Stacey said her dream was to quit TV work all together to become a stay-at-home mum, stating she wants to only take on work she can do mostly from home apart from the occasional “passion project”.

Melanie Brown MBE has married her husband, Rory McPhee, again. The Spice Girls icon and hair stylist, Rory, had their legal ceremony in the UK just a number of weeks ago, tying the knot at the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral.

But last night, the musician, 50, and Rory, 37, married for the second time in Morocco, during a ceremony which oozed glamour and paid tribute to her fiery roots. The couple were joined by their closest friends and family, including Melanie’s three children from previous relationships, as well as her sister Danielle Brown, and Rory’s family.

Also on the guest list was Melanie’s Spice Girls bandmate, Melanie C, who had been unable to attend the St Paul’s ceremony due to work commitments as part of her huge tour. Speaking of the weekend, Melanie C said: “What a weekend!” The singer previously said her second ceremony would be “sexy”. Mel’s stunning wedding dress glistened under the Marrakesh sunshine with red crystals, in collaboration with Evelie and Justin Alexander. The pair tied the knot again at their favourite place, the Selman Hotel. In contrast to her regal white gown in London, Melanie opted for something a little spicier, reflecting on her personal style.

Previously, Melanie was guided by wedding dress legend Caroline Black from Evelie Bridal, who proudly helped the chart-mauling musician choose the perfect Josephine Scott dress for their UK ceremony. Meanwhile, she chose American designer, Justin Alexander, to reflect her current life, as she is splitting her time between Leeds and the US, where she is working on America’s Got Talent.

Evelie Bridal owner Caroline said: “For Mel’s Morocco wedding dress, we focused on trying Justin Alexander gowns with a little extra sparkle. Mel loved the idea of a red dress—something bold, with lots and lots of shimmer—but it also had to feel light and easy to move in.

“We drew inspiration from a variety of dresses she tried on at Evelie South Kensington, then went back and forth brainstorming with Justin Alexander and his design team. After several conversations and sketches, the first design took shape. Mel gave us clear feedback on what she liked and what she didn’t, and the final result was beautiful. Mel had such a strong sense of what she wanted—it was a joy working with her and Justin Alexander to bring her vision to life.”

Melanie and Caroline worked with Creative Director Justin Warshaw and Chief of Design Terri Hilferty to create the jaw-dropping, sheer gown, which oozed glamour, as well as flares. The silhouette was created entirely with hand-fitted red crystals and bulge beads, offering a mesmerizing floating effect throughout the bodice and skirt. The team was created by six artisans and took a staggering 850 hours to complete.

The sweetheart neckline of her dress was filled with red crystal detailing, eventually dispersing across the corset. Elsewhere, the asymmetrical detailing at the waistline added another touch of dimension. In true Mel B fashion, a daring side split revealed a glimpse of her toned legs, with crystal beading scattered down the length of her skirt.

Meanwhile, the back featured a lace-up corset and red ribbons, which highlighted her gym-honed physique, before eventually flowing off into a magical cathedral-length train. The musician completed her look with a Moroccan-inspired veil, custom-draped in mocha tulle and accented with red crystals to mirror the dress’s embellishments. The warm-toned veil blends seamlessly with the dress, offering a radiant, skin-toned glow. Crystals accent the veil’s crown and cascade delicately down the back drape, with additional sparkle scattered throughout the train to finish the look.

Melanie’s husband, Rory, who previously wore tartan and a kilt at the St Paul’s ceremony, opted for UK based designer, Alexander McQueen, and a traditional black tie look.

Speaking about the design, Justin Warshaw, CEO and Creative Director of Justin Alexander, said: “We had such an enjoyable time working with Mel. Every meeting felt like a creative burst of energy and laughter, and that spirit is absolutely woven into the dresses we created together.

“There was so much joy and trust in the process, and creating these dresses together felt like a true celebration of her love story and personal style.”

Katie Price took to social media to reveal her latest pet tragedy. It comes just days after the former glamour model, 47, told her Instagram followers that her pet sphynx cat was pregnant.

Now, however, she’s had to reveal that while Doris gave birth to “so many” kittens, one sadly died. The news comes after Katie was blasted by animal charities for welcoming three of the bald cats to her home in October last year.

In her recent Snapchat, the mum-of-five explained she missed a family trip to the Isle of Wight to look after the new arrivals. She admitted she was keeping regular feeding patterns and using electric blankets.

However, in the update, Katie told of the “sad news” she faced and added four emotional emojis. She explained: “An update on the kittens, one unfortunately died. That’s the one wrapped in tissue, two hours after we fed it.

“Luckily, I’m trying to help the kittens latch on to the mum; two are just about doing it, but I’m having to put them on it, because they are so premature.”

She went on: “As you can see how knackered I am, every two and a half hours through the day and through the night I’m feeding them for the mum.

“She’s a good mum, and then she keeps bringing one to the bed with her; she did that earlier. I think that was a sign to come and look in the box, as one had died.”

And Katie revealed she thinks Doris trusts the family’s actions. “So I’ve got two latching on to her now, so thats the update.”

After panning the camera around to Doris, Katie is heard cooing: “Hey Doris good girl.”

Just days earlier, Katie had told her sister Sophie on their podcast that she was “scared” of what might happen during her pet’s pregnancy. She had said: “Doris is pregnant, and I don’t know how many weeks she is but her belly has gotten bigger and bigger. I’ve noticed she’s been nesting and she keeps wanting to get on me.

“I’ve gone and bought a separate cat litter, another bed, and all of that. I’m going to set it up in my room and leave her in my room because I’ve got the other cats, and I’m scared that if she goes into labour they might eat the kittens.”

She later said: “I don’t know how many she’s going to have but I know the kids want me to keep one. And then I know what I’m like, I can’t.”

Christine, 37, announced that she had quit the E4 dating program, just a few weeks after she joined the agency as she told her followers that she had “great intentions” but feels the experience is “too soon” for her. Christine and comedian Paddy McGuinness, 51, announced their split in 2022 after they had been together for 15 years.

Celebs Go Dating hosts and love gurus Anna Williamson, Paul C. Brunson and Dr Tara spoke out on Christine’s exit and said it just ‘wasn’t the right time’ for Christine and that she was ‘brave’ to recognise that.

Revealing a glimpse of what to expect, Anna did admit that while Christine wasn’t on the show for long, she did go on dates, and viewers will see a different side to the glamorous mum-of-three.

Christine opened up after she left the show and wrote on Instagram at the time: “I joined Celebs Go Dating with great intentions but have realised that dating on a public platform and the attention that brings is just too soon for me.

“They’ve said the door is always open for me which I’m so grateful but for now, I’m returning home to my family.”

A source told the issue that Matty was consoling his mother about a family issue.

Matty sat beside his mum after they went out to dinner together along with Matty’s fiancée Gabbriette Bechtel. The mother-son duo looked to be having a deep conversation while Matty smoked a cigarette. The pair then stood up and had a long hug before going back inside.

It is unknown exactly why Denise was upset, but a source reportedly told TMZ: “There was a family matter that Matty was consoling his mother about.”

Denise appeared on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live last month where she was asked about Taylor’s latest album The Tortured Poets Department. Denise told host Andy Cohen: “Obviously, on pain of death can I talk about that episode, but being her mother-in-law is a role that I am glad I lost.”

Audience members were surprised by the statement, but Denise then went on to clarify what she meant. She said: “Not that I have anything against [Taylor] at all! It was just – it was tricky. Listen, you’re not allowed to say anything.”

Taylor and Matty, 36, first sparked a romantic relationship after she split from her long-term boyfriend, actor Joe Alwyn, back in April 2023. However, the relationship wasn’t to last and now Taylor is with NFL star Travis Kelce, while Matty himself is now engaged to model Gabbriette Bechtel.

Despite not dating until 2023, Taylor and Matty actually first met years before. The two reportedly met when Taylor attended a 1975 show in Los Angeles in 2014.

Then in 2022 rumors began circulating that Matty would be featured on Taylor’s album Midnights. There was some truth to this as Matty said he has collaborated with Taylor on some music in the studio but it was never published in the end.

However, their friendship stayed strong as Taylor went on to make a surprise appearance on stage at a 1975 concert. It’s unknown whether the duo remain on friendly terms after their split.

With his acoustic guitar around his shoulders, Noel stood before a sprawling crowd but only had eyes for a few particular people who had upset him.

Wearing a black t-shirt and a pair of denim jeans, Noel asked the crowd: “Any Mancunians we got in the house?” And in response, a roar of cheers erupted from the audience – apart from a few people towards the front of the stage.

And while the brothers, Noel and Liam Gallagher have seemingly been getting along, during last week’s performance it showed that the brothers have put their troubled past firmly behind them.

Sixteen years ago, following a huge argument while in Paris, the band announced their split and both Liam and Noel went their separate ways and pursued solo careers.

During last Wednesday’s Wembley gig amid their Oasis 25 tour, Liam dedicated a song to his older brother, leaving many fans overwhelmed with emotion.

Just moments before he started to sing he addressed the crowd saying: “Now I’ve gotta dedicate this next tune to our kid – Stand By Me.”

Brave TV presenter Davina McCall has revealed she is not afraid of dying following the removal of a benign brain tumour that completely changed her life

Former Big Brother presenter Davina McCall has said she is “not afraid of dying” after she underwent an operation to remove a benign brain tumour.

In April, the 57-year-old confirmed her “final MRI” had showed a colloid cyst, which she had removed in November 2024, is “not coming back”, after it was found when she was offered a health check-up as part of her menopause advocacy work.

McCall told Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place podcast: “I am not afraid of dying anymore and it was the biggest journey of my life. From August 23 to November 24 was an amazing time where something changed.” It comes after Davina revealed that she ‘rarely’ spends time with her partner in a candid confession.

“Begin Again, the podcast I started to help other people on their journey of living a life that they love enough to feel on their deathbed, whenever that may be, that I have no regrets.

“I have lived the life I wanted, and I’m not lying there going, ‘I wish I’d done that thing, wish I’d done that job, I wish I’d not stayed in this relationship’, all of those I haven’t lived the life I want (things), and Begin Again is about just begin again and live the life you want.”

McCall, who is a judge on ITV singing show The Masked Singer, said her only concern about death is how her family would cope.

Speaking about the time her tumour was found, she added: “I thought I need to get my brain in the right place and that was to a place where I could be calm, and what did I need to do to do that? Were my kids going to be okay if I didn’t make it? That’s all I really cared about.

“I knew Michael (Douglas, her partner), Michael’s a whole person, Michael’s Michael, but I was really worried about my kids.

“I went forensic on thinking about my children and where they were at in their life, what stage they were at. You’re only as happy as your unhappiest child, right?

“I came to a realisation after about six months of cross-examining them about their life and telling them the whole time how much I’ve loved my life. My eldest daughter kept caught on. She was like, ‘you are not dying’, I was like, ‘no, no, no’, I realised that they would be great.

“They’d miss me and I want to be with them but they would be okay. I felt like I could go to sleep on the operating table and know that they were all here to help me, but I can let go of the outcome and it was the best gift. I am not afraid of dying.”

After her surgery, McCall spent time in intensive care before recovering at home with the help of Douglas.

She spoke about the removal of the tumour while co-presenting this year’s Red Nose Day for Comic Relief and said it was “the hardest thing I’ve ever been through”.

According to the NHS, non-cancerous brain tumours are more common in people over the age of 50, and symptoms include headaches, vision problems and drowsiness, and some can be “difficult to remove without damaging surrounding tissue”.

McCall, the host of reality dating show My Mum, Your Dad, has long advocated for women’s health issues, and has presented a documentary called Sex, Myths And The Menopause and another on contraception called Davina McCall’s Pill Revolution.

She became an MBE in the King’s birthday honours for services to broadcasting in 2023 and was given a special recognition gong at the National Television Awards in 2024 for her broadcasting career.

Kerry Katona has revealed her health took a turn following her split from her fiancé Ryan Mahoney as she was left struggling with a devastating condition. The former Atomic Kitten star, 44, split from personal trainer Ryan, 36, in November after six years together.

At the time, Kerry cited a “breach of trust” in their decision to go their separate ways. She admitted she became “exhausted” with her heartache as it started to take a toll on her health.

Kerry decided to keep busy with her gruelling on stage performances in a Cinderella pantomime, all while struggling with alopecia. It comes after her best pal Katie Price worries fans with appearance in family photo after explaining weight loss.

The mum-of-five was doing up to three performances a day in her Christmas panto when she noticed her hair loss. According to the NHS, alopecia is a general term for hair loss which can be widely spread or limited to one area.

Alopecia can be temporary or permanent. “It was heartbreak, it was exhausting. I also got alopecia. It was really stressful,” Kerry told Daily Mail.

She revealed her hair is yet to regrow as she has said she’s “still bald”. Kerry said her hair loss has been confined to her scalp and is remaining positive about the situation.

“It’s only hair,” she said. “It will grow back. I wear tape extensions because it all started falling out.” In 2021, Kerry shared how her hair started to fall out due to the amount of hair extensions she was wearing.

She said at the time she “hated” how “fine and wispy” her blonde locks were as she blamed “years and years of putting extensions after extensions in my hair”. However, this time Kerry has said stress has caused her hair loss.

In an effort to move on from Ryan, Kerry has stepped back out into the dating pool as has grown close to personal trainer Paolo Margaglione. She signed up to Celebs Go Dating in an effort to find her perfect match.

However, it seemed the pair may have faced some bumps in the road already after snaps of the pair in Ibiza seemed to show them in a tense exchange. A source claimed that, while they’re totally “smitten” with each other, Kerry is nervous about putting yet another relationship in the public eye.

“Kerry is being very cautious with this romance,” they told the Mirror. “She has been very wary about going public with Paolo and it impacting their relationship.

“She’s been down the route of high-profile, public relationships before and she doesn’t want anything to ruin things this time.” Kerry and father-of-two Paolo, 33, are thought to have met during the new series of Celebs Go Dating.

However, Kerry has remained resolutely tight-lipped on her new relationship. The source added: “Kerry’s worries have caused some tense moments as she doesn’t want any exterior drama getting in the way.

“But Paolo isn’t overthinking it – he’s just really happy to be with her. He doesn’t see the problem and is telling her not to worry, they’re great together and should just enjoy what they’ve got.”

Therapist Floyd on Coronation Street may have some explaining to do after a “suspicious” phone call.

Now, some fans think they have figured out who he was on the phone to in a cryptic chat after a therapy session with Lisa Swain. It could be a mystery new character if fans are correct, with viewers now suspecting Floyd could be corrupt.

It comes as Carla Connor was snooping into the death of partner Lisa’s ex-wife Becky Swain, who died in the line of duty years earlier. Lisa is also digging into the police officer’s death, and she tearfully confessed to Floyd on Friday that she believed her wife may have been in trouble, amid continuing mystery surrounding what led to her death.

As she confessed her fears, explaining that the Radcliffe brothers had implied there was more to what happened to her, she admitted her daughter Betsy Swain had visited one of them, Logan, for answers. But Floyd suggested to her the pair may just be trying to get to her.

He asked her if she truly thought her wife was corrupt, or maybe Logan and Matty Radcliffe were lying because they had a grudge against her after their recent arrests. Lisa appeared to come around to the latter idea, while she admitted “you never truly know anyone”.

As the session ended, Floyd checked in with her and she said: “Maybe you’re right,” questioning if she’d “been kidding herself” as Floyd seemed keen for her not to believe Becky was corrupt. It’s then as Lisa left the room that Floyd got his phone out and called a mystery person.

He told the mystery caller: “I think I made a breakthrough with Swain.” So was he calling someone to let them know Lisa may drop the Becky case?

Was it Costello, who was seen on his phone after? Was it the person who later told a prisoner to attack Logan after his comments to Carla? Viewers even wondered if it was the mystery Tia Wardley, the name Logan gave to Carla.

One fan said: “I think we were meant to believe Floyd was ringing Costello after Lisa’s therapy session but what if it was this Tia Wardley??” Another fan said: “Costello.”

A third fan posted: “Floyd the therapist is compromised, he’s part of the it! Costello sent him to shut Lisa down and stop her digging into Becky.” Another viewer said: “Who was Floyd on the phone to – was it Costello?”
