Gino D’Acampo ‘drew explicit photo of TV producer’ in ‘unsettling encounter’

Gino D’Acampo allegedly drew an explicit photo of a television producer, which she reported to ITV and told bosses she found a ‘toxic culture of sexism and misogyny’ at ITV

Gino D’Acampo ‘drew an explicit photo of a television producer’ during live filming, a woman has claimed.

Bosses are said to be investigating the “inappropriate and unacceptable” allegations, which the woman made to ITV. She alleged the “unsettling encounter” took place during live filming of a television cookery show.

It has been alleged that Gino sketched a naked image of her after asking to draw a picture of her. The sketch allegedly was of a woman who was naked and was sat with her legs spread open.

“In front of the rest of the production team on the studio floor during live filming he picked up a pad and paper and asked to draw a picture of me. I thought it was going to be a harmless caricature. But when he showed me the finished drawing I felt shocked and humiliated,” the producer told a friend, according to The Sun.

The TV producer allegedly made a complaint to ITV on December 3, 2024. The sketching incident happened when Gino worked on the same show as the woman in 2007 and 2008.

A source close to the woman added: “These incidents didn’t take place in private settings – they occurred openly, in front of other production staff. The woman hopes ITV acknowledges that this behaviour is not only a recent issue isolated to her. She felt utterly humiliated by his behaviour. It took a lot for her to gain the confidence to finally complain. She was inspired to complain about Gino, and angered, by the Gregg Wallace case when he said the women complaining about him were ‘middle-class women.’”

A spokesperson for ITV told The Mirror: “The behaviour detailed is inappropriate and unacceptable. We are committed to investigating complaints in an appropriate manner and according to our robust protocols.”

Referring to the complaint, a spokesperson for ITV added: “ITV is completely committed to creating an environment where everyone is treated with respect and feels able to give of their best. The standards of behaviour that ITV expects are very clear.

“Everyone is subject to our code of ethics and conduct. We do not tolerate abusive behaviour of any form in the workplace. We have set up a dedicated complaints handling unit in 2024. We have also reiterated our expectations of our on-screen presenters’ behaviour through our conduct and standards guidelines issued in 2024.”

In a statement given to The Mirror, Gino’s communications advisors said: “Mr D’Acampo was first made aware of these allegations relating to events that are said to have occurred over 17 years ago [today at 15.17hrs / yesterday afternoon] when he was emailed by The Sun on Sunday. No details have been provided, just extremely vague allegations with no specific year or person identified and no context explained.

“None of these allegations have ever been brought to his attention previously, he does not recollect them and does not recognise the allegations or the behaviour which is attributed to him. He denies these allegations. He has been told by the Sun on Sunday that they are from a complaint to ITV from December 2024. If so, he urges ITV to contact him about it and he will fully cooperate. He is deeply worried about the immense and escalating distress that these allegations are having on his family.”

It was also alleged that Gino had made a crude comment about Mary Berry, who is best known to viewers for The Great British Bake Off and other cooking-based television shows.

The Sun reports that a statement was made on Gino’s behalf, which read: “Mr D’Acampo has only respect and admiration for Mary Berry and they have always had a great working relationship together. None of these allegations have ever been brought to his attention previously, he does not recollect them. He denies these allegations.”

Jeremy Clarkson’s pub has ‘strict time limit’ and three things that ‘can’t be ordered’

The Farmer’s Dog, near Burford, has a ‘proper Sunday roast’ but there was a strict time limit and items that couldn’t be ordered

The dining experience at Jeremy Clarkson’s pub, The Farmer’s Dog, has been revealed.

The pub near Burford, Oxfordshire is offering a ‘proper Sunday lunch’ but there is a time limit given to time at the table and it was “a bit rushed” but ultimately the meal “did not disappoint”.

Emma Gray of Birmingham Live visited Clarkson’s establishment and had to book a table a month before and was then advised that they could only have the table from noon til 1pm.

Emma said that during her visit she found it “busy, but not overcrowded,” and the “service was friendly,” and there “were fun touches for the fans (no spoilers here).”

Speaking about what food was on offer, Emma wrote: “The Sunday lunch menu is a carvery, which always makes my heart sink a bit, but this one is done really well. They have perfected a system where you don’t spend ages queuing, and you get served by a member of the team, rather than having to wonder whether someone before you has licked the serving spoon.”

Describing what they chose, Emma revealed: “I had beef, Yorkshires, cauliflower cheese and an amazing range of veg, even red cabbage, which I love. Everything is locally sourced and supporting British farmers, just the way it should be.”

When it came to desserts. Emma admitted she couldn’t resist. She added: “Although we both promised ourselves that we wouldn’t have a pudding, who can resist apple crumble and custard? The portion was huge, and it was delicious, not overly sweet and there was still some substance in the apple.”

Summing up her time at Clarkson’s pub, Emma wrote: “The Farmer’s Dog isn’t just a gimmicky experience, the food is really good, it’s well presented and served with pride. I love that everything is produced nearby.”

There were three things that she couldn’t have during her visit, and they were a random selection. Emma wrote: “You can’t have coffee, ketchup or lemonade – there’s a sign outside the pub explaining they don’t serve coffee or ketchup.

“The people at the table next to us asked for a latte but were politely refused. I also asked for a cider shandy when we arrived but staff explained they don’t sell lemonade.

Exclusive: Katie Price’s health shock as she tries for baby number six

Former model Katie Price has revealed her fears she is going through the menopause and it’s thrown another spanner In the works when it comes to having a sixth child

Katie Price has opened up about her fears that she may be going through the menopause. The 46-year-old detailed her new symptoms as she revealed she’s struggling with sleep and cold sweats. Following warnings from a doctor that the menopause could come in the next couple of years, Katie spoke to her sister Sophie on her podcast The Katie Price Show and revealed her midlife worries.

“I’m not sleeping at night and I’m normally a really good sleeper, so something’s going on,” she shared. “So I’m just going to get my blood test because maybe I’m having an early menopause, I don’t know how it all works, but I’m still having my periods.” She also said her bed was “wet with cold sweat” in the run-up to her periods, so she wondered if she was “going through the change”. Earlier this year, in Katie Price: Making Babies, her IVF docuseries that was filmed in 2023, Katie received some news about her fertility. The show focused on Katie’s visits to the Agora fertility clinic with her then fiancé Carl Woods, to explore using IVF to have a baby of their own.

    Katie Price
She admitted on her podcast she’s been struggling with sleep

She was told by gynaecologist and medical director Dr Carole Gilling-Smith that she only had a “couple of awake eggs”, and her hormone levels showed she would probably start going through menopause within a couple of years. “For Katie, the first sign of ageing is coming from her ovaries and that is a big blow and something some women find hard to accept,” Dr Gilling-Smith said.

“There is a feeling that you’re no longer attractive. That is a sort of unsaid, unspoken feeling that women will have.”

Katie has been open about her desire to have more children – whether by surrogate or IVF – and is happily loved-up with her MAFS UK star boyfriend JJ Slater. We’re told Katie, who is mum to Harvey, 22, Junior, 19, Princess, 17, Jett, 11, and 10-year-old Bunny, would likely find the menopause a challenging milestone that could potentially hit her hard – her fears only exacerbated by the fact she is chasing her baby dream and is known for constantly changing her appearance via cosmetic surgery to look younger.

She even said in an interview earlier this month that despite more than 20 cosmetic surgeries, she doesn’t like looking at herself – and there are no mirrors in her house. “I certainly don’t think I’m beautiful,” she admitted. “I look at old photos of myself and think, ‘Urrrgh!’”

Menopause expert Niki Woods told us that these sorts off anxieties around ageing and fertility when it comes to perimenopause and menopause are not uncommon, especially for women who still want to conceive naturally.

“Katie is 46 and the average age for a woman to go through menopause – counted as a year of no periods – is 51 in the UK, so I would think it very likely she’s in perimenopause,” she said.

“One of the challenges for women is that when we enter perimenopause we still feel young, but those of us born in the 70s and 80s were brought up thinking of menopause as an ‘old lady’ thing – and of course society associates youthfulness with female attractiveness.

“For women like Katie, who appear to put particularly strong emphasis on appearing youthful, and/or on their ability to have children, it can be especially emotionally challenging.”

    Katie Price
She’s spoken about her fertility battle openlyFor Katie, the menopause would be another blow in her fertility journey – after already being told that the chances of her having a baby using her own eggs were less than 1%. In her IVF documentary she shared her fears that Carl would leave her for a younger woman due to her fertility struggles.

“I’m now paranoid that he won’t want to be with me because he’ll want a kid,” she said on the show. “And he’ll think I’m so much grief that he’ll go and get someone younger and set up a family.” She later told Carl, “I feel you’re going to leave me.”

Auzzy performed on the 2022 edition of America’s Got Talent and also performed on the Spanish version of the show in 2023. Fans were horrified the act, which took sword swallowing to a new level as Ant and Dec begged people not to try it at home.

Simon previously revealed they would get complaints over the act. He said: “It’s spooky horror where you don’t want to watch it, but you do want to watch it. That’s obviously why we’re going to show it. We probably will get some complaints. Hopefully.” He further joked: “I love it when they say ‘don’t try this at home’ like we’ve all got screws and things just waiting to do that.”

Despite the shocking nature of the performance, Simon maintained that it is still appropriate for children to view and will be broadcast before the 9pm watershed.

Kelly Brook leaves Loose Women co-stars stunned after Emma Bunton swipe

Kelly Brook revealed that she once walked out of an Emma Bunton concert after just half an hour and revealed the unexpected reason behind her decision

Kelly Brook left her Loose Women co-stars completely gobsmacked after admitting she walked out of Emma Bunton’s Christmas show.

On Monday’s episode of the hit ITV daytime show, Kelly joined Charlene White, Brenda Edwards and Judi Love in the studio, where the conversation quickly turned to a jaw-dropping revelation. Kicking things off by discussing the recent phenomenon of theatre-goers leaving productions midway through to avoid ‘spoilers’ before the film adaptation is released. With Wicked receiving ten Oscar nominations, it seems some fans are ditching the West End show to keep the big-screen experience fresh.

But as the debate raged on, Kelly dropped a bombshell of her own. “I do have a confession…” she admitted, before dropping her Emma Bunton-shaped secret. “I love going to the theatre, I’ve seen so many West End shows, musicals, all sorts… But I do need to apologise to Emma Bunton – she invited me to her Christmas show at the Royal Albert Hall.”

Attempting to justify her actions, Kelly explained: “I had a puppy that was six months old, and about half an hour into the show… I got immense anxiety that this little puppy was going to absolutely wreck my house. Eat everything! I just said to my husband, ‘I’m not enjoying the show.’ It was nothing to do with Emma – Emma is fantastic…”

Judi, clearly in disbelief, asked: “Your mind was somewhere else?” To which Kelly nodded. “My mind was somewhere else. I just could not relax.” Charlene pressed for more details. “So, you lasted like three songs?”

Kelly, appearing embarrassed, admitted she and her husband made a sneaky exit. “I said, ‘Let’s just pretend we’re going to the bar…’ and we slipped out and left the show. We went home. The puppy was fine. It was all in my head! And now, any time I’ve got a dog, I cannot see a show.”

Adding insult to injury, Judi demanded to know where Kelly had been sitting. When she revealed she had front-row seats, the panel absolutely lost it. Charlene, still in shock, urged her to make amends. “Do you want to apologise to Emma again?”

Turning directly to the camera, Kelly made her plea: “Emma, I would love to come back to your show again if you would kindly invite me. I know, I know, it was terrible! But the puppy was six months old!”

Elsewhere on the show, emotions ran high as the panel shared personal heartbreaks in a deeply emotional discussion about grief and how to talk to children about death.

Charlene broke down in tears as she opened up about losing her best friend, while Judi became visibly emotional speaking about her late mum. Kelly also welled up as she reflected on the loss of her father.

Coleen Nolan sobs on Loose Women return days after sister Linda’s funeral

Coleen Nolan broke down in tears during Tuesday’s episode of Loose Women as she opened up about the loss of her sister Linda just days after her funeral took place

Coleen Nolan broke down in tears when discussing her sister Linda’s funeral, as she made her return to the Loose Women panel.

When asked by Christine Lampard how the family were doing after Linda’s funeral, which took place on Saturday, Coleen said they were “doing great.” Although, she said they have absolute meltdown moments, “which come out the blue.”

Thanking the public for their support, and messages Coleen held back the tears as she spoke on how hard the loss of her sister was. She then opened up about the difficult decision to go back to work.

“It’s just hard,” she said, holding back the tears. “Is it too soon? But you just have to, life goes on. Linda’s had this for 20 years,” Coleen explained. “The one thing she would want to say is, that she wouldn’t want anybody that’s still going through this horrendous disease to give up.”

Speaking on Linda’s impact in the family, she continued: “She was just such a massive force in our family, and it feels like such a hole.”

Despite the difficult decision to go back to the Loose panel, Coleen said she was “glad to be back”.

Linda’s funeral service was held at St Paul’s Church on Saturday February 1 It was a place that held a special place in Linda’s heart as it was the same place where she exchanged vows with her “soulmate” husband, the late Brian Hudson. The pair tied the knot in the summer of 1981.

The funeral was a celeb-filled service, with the likes of Shane Ritchie, Paul Chuckle and Jodie Prenger in attendance at the service.

Charlotte Dawson spoke to PA ahead of the funeral service to pay tribute to Linda. She said: “She touched so many hearts and she’s just fabulous. ‘I’m in full glam for you Linda’, because she’d love me in full glam. The sun is shining for her and she’s just such an amazing person. She just lit up every room she walked into.”

The pregnant reality star went on: “We just used to have so many different memories, travelling all around the country, having a laugh and just getting up to mischief. That was our favourite thing to do.”

Throughout the emotional ceremony, a number of Linda’s favourite songs as well as her own tunes were played

Linda, who had planned her funeral years before her death, proved that her wicked sense of humour lives on through her final song at her committal. She chose Please Don’t Talk About Me When I’m Gone by Frank Sinatra – who The Nolans once supported on tour.

The decision left mourners in fits of giggles as they heard the lyrics: “Please don’t talk about me when I’m gone. Oh, honey though our friendship ceases, from now on. And, listen, if you can’t say anything real nice, it’s better not to talk at all, is my advice.”

Loose Women star Linda Robson has issued a heartbreaking update on Pauline Quirke’s dementia diagnosis, revealing that the actress “doesn’t know who anybody is” anymore.

Last month, Pauline’s husband Steve Sheen said that his wife will step away from acting and retire from “all professional and commercial duties” after being diagnosed with dementia in 2021.

Following the announcement, Pauline’s Birds Of A Feather co-star Linda Robson said that she was “heartbroken” for her best friend who she has known since they were 10 years old.

The friends have worked together from almost the beginning of their careers decades ago, but are best known as the combative sisters whose husbands go to jail in the sitcom which began on the BBC in 1989.

Linda has since revealed that she has FaceTimed Pauline a few times this year and is hoping to go and visit her later this month.

Speaking to The Sun at the TV Choice Awards, Linda shared the devastating reality of Pauline’s illness and said she will be “taking everything really slowly for her”.

She said: ““She doesn’t know who anybody is. She doesn’t know who I am or who her kids are. Dementia is terrible – I’d rather get cancer, because at least then you’ve got a chance.”

Linda, whose mum also had dementia, said that she would never do another episode of Birds Of A Feather as it “wouldn’t be the same without Pauline.”

The sitcom wasn’t the only time the best friends worked together. Quirke, 65, and Robson were in the slapstick film Junket 89, and the series You Must Be Joking! during the 1970s, and later in the 1980s Shine On Harvey Moon.

Robson also appeared in Quirke’s chat show Pauline’s Quirkes, which she began presenting as a teenager. Linda, 66, broke down in tears when discussing Pauline’s diagnosis on Loose Women last month before being supported by her co-stars.

Speaking to Heat, Linda opened up about the powerful scenes and said that it was “so important” to talk about the illness.

She said: “I’ve known about it for three years. We’d managed to keep it quiet until her husband Steve decided it was time to let everyone know. We’ve been best friends since we were 10 years old so it’s been really, really hard.

“One in two people get dementia now. My mum was one of them and loads of my friends’ mums are starting to get diagnosed.”

  • ITV Loose Women’s Janet Street-Porter would ‘never’ eat one meal at home

ITV Loose Women’s Janet Street-Porter would ‘never’ eat one meal at home

Janet Street-Porter revealed that she opts for one fruit or a quick snack over dessert at home

Janet Street-Porter has been labelled ‘really annoying’ by Loose Women co-stars after revealing the one thing she never eats. Remarkably, the 78-year-old said she rarely enjoys a dessert when relaxing at home and instead opts for just two squares of chocolate.

“I would never, ever eat a dessert at home,” she said on an episode of the ITV show this week. “Hardly ever.” Taken aback, co-star Linda Robson then asked: “What if you went out? Would you have a dessert then?”

To which, Janet replied: “I wouldn’t be rushing to order one because what I think is… I mean, what I tend to do is I would have a bar of chocolate that is more than 70% and I’d break off two squares.

“And then, I would only eat that after I’ve eaten the tangerines. So, what I do is sit down —” Kaye Adams, also on the panel, interjected: “You are really annoying.” Laughing, Janet quipped: “I know, can you see my halo?”

This isn’t the first time Janet has opened up about her healthy eating habits. While the TV star doesn’t believe in ‘diets’, she likes making food from scratch and eating everything in ‘moderation’.

In 2017, she told the Mirror: “I don’t believe in diets. I am not a fan of banning wheat, dairy or alcohol – I hate the word ‘ban’. I eat everything. But we should be eating food we’ve made from scratch. I love a good fish and chips every now and again, but just don’t have a huge plate.

“Childhood obesity is happening because we don’t have enough cookery lessons in schools. They need to begin as soon as kids start school and kids need to be shown that it’s fun. Cooking teaches you to be calm, how to measure things out and it slows you down.”

Janet is by no means the only Loose Women star to opt for a healthy lifestyle either. Ruth Langsford, 64, posts various superfood recipes on Instagram, including an ‘upside down salad’ that has impressed fans.

“So, basically, I put everything in layers in one of these [glass tubs], which means that when I tip it out the lettuce is on the bottom and everything else that I want is in layers,” she explained in a video last September. “Anyway, you get the gist.

“So, basically I put kitchen roll in the bottom [of the tub] because then any kind of juices from the tomatoes and cucumber soak a bit into that, so the whole salad doesn’t get soggy.”

In the caption, she also added: “I take this to work most days….stops me grabbing unhealthy, processed food. Even when you make a healthy choice and buy a salad, in my experience, they’re mostly leaves!!

“This way you get a good, decent portion salad and you get to put all the things you like in it!”

Loose Women’s Judi Love makes urgent plea to fans as she declares ‘break for me’

Loose Women star Judi Love has announced she will be taking a break from social media amid the recent far-right riots across the UK after the Southport stabbing

Loose Women’s Judi Love has announced that she’s taking a break from social media in light of the recent rise of extreme right-wing riots that swept over 20 UK towns and cities. The unrest followed the Southport incident, where the tragic killings of Bebe King, Alice Dasilva Aguiar, and Elsie Dot Stancomb took place.

Before the announcement of Axel Rudakubana as the suspect, misinformation circulated that falsely linked the stabbing to Islam, resulting in mosques and accommodation for asylum seekers coming under attack. The turmoil saw crowds take to the streets, engaging in shop looting, setting vehicles alight, clashing with police, and dispensing death threats

Among those speaking out against the mayhem was TV personality Judi Love, who urged her followers to unify and “come together” in response to the disturbance.

In a succession of posts, which also found their way onto her Instagram stories, Judi expressed her shock at the regression in community spirit: “Is this really the UK? YES! They’ve gone back in time.” Highlighting the dangerous impact of hostile propaganda, Love stressed the necessity of solidarity: “Unfortunately there’s been years of Propaganda Inciting hatred! Never has there been a time that we NEED 2 come together!”

Commenting on the irony of the situation, she added: “What’s crazy half of these people rioting for the hatred of POC, loves a curry on a Friday night!” Judi made it clear that the main concern should be providing support for those directly affected by the violence: “What’s so sad is the focus of supporting a community and families that’s lost their babies in the most horrific way has been lost in this mess … We need to come together!”

She offered some advice for everyone, particularly those of colour, during such tumultuous times: “People of colour at this time need to protect their mental health. What people need to understand is black and brown people face racism most days, by people, directly, indirectly, passive aggressively, institutionally, systematically. And on social media.”
