Prince Harry facing major update in US visa row as judge’s crunch deadline looms

Today is the deadline for the US government to state which legal documents can be disclosed relating to Prince Harry’s visa application, which has come under scrutiny

The long-running battle over whether Prince Harry’s US visa application should be made public reaches a crunch date today.

Earlier this month, a judge suggested he could allow the release of some sealed documents from Harry’s visa application in a lengthy legal case sparked when conservative Washington DC think tank The Heritage Foundation questioned why the Duke of Sussex was allowed into the US in 2020.

The group are questioning the granting of his visa after he admitted in his book Spare taking cocaine, marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms. The think tank has argued that Harry either received special treatment from the Biden administration or had lied on his immigration forms.

Several weeks ago, Judge Carl Nichols told a hearing in Washington DC that he wanted “maximum disclosure as long as it doesn’t violate privacy.” He set a date of today (February 20) for the US government to state which legal documents related to the case can be disclosed. It could pave the way for documents to be released after the judge previously said that after the US government meet the deadline, “the Court will determine what portions of those materials can be produced to Heritage”.

US visa applications specifically ask the individual about current and past drug use, which can have a detrimental impact on the progress of the application. Prolific drug use can lead to applications being rejected. However, immigration officers use their discretion against a range of factors.

Earlier this month, US President Donald Trump publicly spoke out about the case saying he would not deport Harry. But in a brutal dig at Meghan, he added: “I’ll leave him alone. He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”

In a previous hearing for the case in September, a judge ruled the public did not have a strong interest in disclosure of the Duke’s immigration records, but the Heritage Foundation is asking for the judgment to be changed. The organisation originally brought the lawsuit against the Department for Homeland Security (DHS) after a Freedom of Information Act request was rejected, with the think tank claiming it was of “immense public interest

In his controversial memoir, the duke said cocaine “didn’t do anything for me”, adding: “Marijuana is different, that actually really did help me.” The Heritage Foundation’s lawsuit argued that US law “generally renders such a person inadmissible for entry” to the country.

The think tank also said answers on the duke’s prior drug use in his visa application should have been disclosed as they could raise questions over the US government’s integrity. In the DHS’s response to the legal claim, it said: “Much like health, financial, or employment information, a person’s immigration information is private personal information.”

The submissions previously made by lawyer John Bardo on behalf of DHS also said no “publicly available information shows that Prince Harry was ever convicted for a drug-related offence”. Mr Bardo added that any suggestion from the Heritage Foundation of wrongdoing on behalf of the US government was “purely speculative”.

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage spoke to a packed room at CPAC, one of America’s biggest right-wing events, and caused quite the reaction when he brought up Prince Harry

Nigel Farage whipped a crowd up into booing Prince Harry at a US Donald Trump fan conference.

The Reform UK leader spoke to a packed room at CPAC, one of America’s biggest right-wing events – and complained about being silenced by the establishment.

“In my country,” he fumed, “you can’t say anything because you might get thrown in prison […] We’re getting poorer, everyone’s miserable, we’re governed by an awful left-wing government.”

And he gushed over his pal Donald Trump. “Suddenly, post-November 5th America is optimistic. It’s upbeat. It’s the beginning of a golden age in America,” he said. “And it is all because of one totally extraordinary individual.”

He said the “establishment” had “made my life hell” when he pushed for Brexit. “But that was nothing compared to what they put Donald J Trump through.”

Closing his speech, he spoke of the cultural exchange between the UK and the US – and whipped the crowd into a loud reaction at the mention of Prince Harry. “We very often follow you. American trends we tend to follow. You occasionally follow some of our trends. I mean, you gave us woke. We gave you Prince Harry.”

As the crowd started to boo, Mr Farage encouraged them. “No, you keep him. You keep him,” he laughed.

Mr Farage went on to repeat the conspiracy theory that Britain has “two tier” policing. The idea gained traction following the riots that followed the Southport stabbings – when right-wing thugs caused chaos in the streets and tried to burn down a hotel housing asylum seekers.

“We’ve had enough of free speech being cracked down on,” Farage said. “Two-tier justice. Different groups of people being treated differently by the law.

“We’ve had enough of being told ‘you can’t say that.’ To hell with it. Within the limits of free speech we should be allowed to say whatever the hell we want. And we will. And we will.”

Meghan Markle tipped to make Oscars appearance as brand disaster rumbles on

The Duchess of Sussex has been tipped to attend the major film event in Hollywood – and a PR expert has revealed why it would be a smart move for Prince Harry’s wife

An expert has predicted that Meghan Markle might make a glitzy appearance in Hollywood next week.

As the Duchess of Sussex gears up for the release of her highly anticipated Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, the Oscars could offer the perfect opportunity to promote her new series, which drops on 4 March.

Speaking to Sportsbook Review about the potential appearance, PR expert, Lynn Carratt said: “It would show that not only is she focused on building her own brand away from the Royals, especially if she attends solo, but make a statement that she has every intention of reinserting herself back into the world of entertainment in a nod to her past life.”

Lynn further noted that it had been rumoured the Academy Awards reached out to Harry and Meghan to attend last year, but the pair were a “no show”, having “no reason” to attend at the time. “With only one project left as part of her and Harry’s five-year deal with Netflix, attending the Oscars would be a clever PR move by Meghan to boost viewing figures and ensure these final projects are a success,” the pro noted.

With Love, Meghan, was initially due to premiere in January but the release date was pushed back to March 4 due to the devastation caused by the LA wildfires.

“I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California,” the Duchess said in a statement confirming the news.

In the eight-episode lifestyle series, Meghan is set to share personal tips and tricks about cooking, gardening and hosting with guests including Roy Choi, Mindy Kaling, Alice Waters.

Mindy recently spoke to Time about her part in the upcoming Netflix show saying the series will reveal more about the Duchess. “I think a misconception about Meghan is that she’s in any way fussy or has expectations of fanciness,” the Office actress said. “She really is a down-to-earth person who knows a lot of fun tricks to make entertaining and cooking easier.”

Mindy went on to hint a little about the episode she takes part in, picking up some tips for throwing a children’s party. “I love cooking, but I’m really not good at entertaining,” she confessed. “I don’t know anything about how you’re not supposed to use overhead lighting when people come over. You’re supposed to use little lamps. But Meghan just knows how to do that stuf

Prince William launches £50million home building project as he makes homelessness plea

Prince William visited Millenium House in Poole today, which offers services to those at risk of homelessness, as he launched a £50million new scheme backed by Lloyds Banking Group

Prince William has said he wants the issue of homelessness to move from being ‘niche’ to ‘mainstream’ as he launched a £50million new scheme to help build more homes.

As part of his Homewards initiative, the Prince of Wales visited Millenium House in Poole, an 11-bed supported housing scheme, which offers ‘wrap-around’ services to those who have mental health needs and are at risk of homelessness. The future king has teamed up with Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) to help unlock funding for more housing across all six Homewards locations -Aberdeen, Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole, Lambeth, Newport, Northern Ireland and Sheffield.

He met with Charlie Nunn, the chief executive of LBG and Pim Gregory, the director of Homewards, to hear how the new partnership will work by providing lending at preferential interest rates to small and medium-sized housing providers and charities who have previously faced barriers in accessing funding for new housing.

The aim of the project At Millenium House, which is run by Bournemouth Churches Housing Association (BCHA), an organisation that already receives funding from LBG, is to give residents their own support plan to help them towards living independently. Sitting around a table with Nunn, Gregory and Kelly Deane, the director of housing at Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole council, William said: “We really want to move Homewards from being a niche thing and make it more mainstream, because everyone cares about people not being on the street.

“We really want to make it a national thing over the next five years. What we also want to do is simplify things and de-mystify things. I don’t like maths – no offence, Charlie, but there are so many stats out there around homelessness, what we want to do with Homewards is show more of the human stories. What I hope we see is how all the jigsaw pieces come together – it isn’t just a case of build a house and put homeless people in those houses. It doesn’t work like that.”

He asked Nunn: “I’m always on a fishing exercise – how do we go out to other institutions and as them to get involved?” Nunn told him: “We really appreciate the convening power you bring to the issue, we’ve been really keen to support you and hope that others will follow.”

Turning to Deane, he asked: “How important is the private sector for you?” She told him: “It’s huge. That’s why the convening power of Homewards is so helpful. But we also couldn’t achieve anything in our housing strategy without organisations like BCHA.”

William then met privately with Sean, one of the residents at Millenium House, to hear about his experiences. On the way to his room, William joked “He’s been busy tidying his room all morning, I know he has.” After speaking with Sean, he met with Douglas, 53, originally from Zimbabwe who has been in and out of hospital over many years with mental health challenges, and who has been supported by BCHA.

Sean handed him a letter detailing his life experiences. “Where are you at with your journey, Douglas?” he asked. “I’m pretty stable at the moment, I have emotional issues, and issues with my family, but I’m sure in time they will be sorted out.” He added: “I suppose I can be a difficult person at times.” William joked: “Can’t we all, Douglas? We all have our moments.”

William also heard from Chloe, a resident at Millenium House since August last year, who has also been in and out of hospital with mental health issues. She told William: “I’ve been around a lot of people who work in mental health, and I’ve got to say, the staff here have been particularly good.”

William said: “That’s half the problem, isn’t it? How many people have seen you? As in looking for help and support, you had to tell your story to hundreds of people, and that in itself is exhausting and tiring and you just want to get past that and beyond that.” She told him: “It has not been easy but the support I’ve had here has been amazing. Hopefully I can make something of my life.” William said: “I can see you will already, with the decisions you’re making. Well done you, you’re already heading in the right direction.”

William then heard how staff and residents at Millenium House run’feel-good Fridays’ with music classes, karaoke and gardening sessions. In the garden, he met volunteers including Amber, a former resident who now works as a volunteer supporting current residents.

While William planted broccoli and potato seeds in a box, she told him: “I used to spend hours out here gardening, I found it really therapeutic.” “Being outside in the fresh air helps everyone, “he said, adding: “If these actually grow, you have to let me know.”

Earlier, Nunn had explained why LBG, the UK’s largest supporter of social housing, has decided to come on board with Homewards. “There is a housing crisis, we’re grateful to see the leadership and focus of the Prince and we’re happy to be aligned with that. We’re hoping it is a pattern for other financial organisations. This is about trying to fix a problem the UK shouldn’t have in 2025.”

Prince William had students screaming his name out of the windows as he visited Bournemouth and Poole College today as part of a trip for his Homewards campaign

Prince William got an excitable welcome as he visited a college in Dorset today, with students screaming his name out of the window.

There were cries of ‘we love Prince William ‘, ‘we love George, we Catherine, we love her’ and even several ‘we hate Meghan’, which the royal didn’t appear to hear. The heir to the throne was at Bournemouth and Poole College to see how his homeless initiative Homewards has helped to bring local organisations together to create successful employment programmes.college

The college boasts several courses including the Sunseeker Boat Building programme, barista training and carpentry. A large and vocal group of students greeted the prince as his car drove in before he went inside to meet adult students, some of whom had previously been homeless.

Bournemouth and Poole College, Sunseeker, and Faithworks have worked collaboratively to create a range of new employment pathways which are open to people at risk of or experiencing homelessness locally by Homewards BCP (Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole) since September 2023.

Inside William was reunited with Daniel Matthews, whom he first met in 2023. He was previously homeless but was referred by Faithworks to the 12-week paid Sunseeker Boat Building Programme and is now a permanent employee at the firm.

The prince spoke of his admiration for what Daniel had achieved and how his experiences would “support and encourage others”. He asked him: “What has happened since I last saw you a year and a bit ago?”Daniel said doing the course had guaranteed him an interview with Sunseeker which had transitioned into his new job. “Do you see the long term being a bit clearer for you now?” the prince asked.

“Yes I am in full time employment now, the thing I’ve been looking for,” Daniel replied. He also spoke with college staff about the courses they offered and how the academics were only a small part of their ‘job ready’ programmes, which also work on building up confidence and interpersonal skills. “The skills are just a part of it. There are all the human things they need to know too,” William agreed.

Daniel then showed him several stands where students were displaying some of the boat-building skills they were learning and offered to try his hand at fitting some pipes for a freshwater engine.

Joking that It seemed a bit ‘like Lego’, William gamely had a go, however at one point he remarked: “I hope they someone checks this before they put it in a boat. I don’t want to be responsible for it sinking.” At the end he asked: “Have I passed, Daniel? Phew, thank goodness!”

PA)Outside, the group of waiting students had grown even bigger, with some screaming how much they loved both himself and his family, but seemed less enamoured of his estranged sister-in-law. The prince had been due to go straight to his car but made a beeline for the excited students who started screaming “oh my God, oh my God, William!” He spent several minutes chatting and shaking hands. “Are you on lunch break?” he asked. “Hello, nice to see you.”

He chatted to Natasha Gorry, 24, a student from Wimborne studying cookery, maths and English at the college. When she asked him for a hug he reached out and gave her a squeeze and a double high five.

“Go on, give me a hug. So nice to see you but you’ve got some lessons to go to now. I’m going to get you in trouble for keeping you out of your lessons now. You’ve got a free period now? When’s lunch break? You’ve brought the sun out today, it’s lovely,” he said.

She said afterwards: “I am so happy. He gave me a hug. I love it. I’m excited. It’s my first time. I told him what course I was doing. He’s an amazing guy.”

After the visit Sunseeker Boat Building Programme student Errol Mustafa, 45, explained that while he hadn’t been homeless, the course had given him a “new lease of life”. He had given up work as a delivery driver and was retraining to drive HGV’s when he was asked whether he wanted to apply.

“I initially said I didn’t have any qualifications or skills but they said it didn’t matter. We are doing an apprentice scheme. I also told them ‘you do know I am 45’ as I thought apprenticeships were usually for teenagers. But again they said I should apply,” he said. He added: “It was surreal meeting Prince William and I told him how Sunseeker had also got me a level one in English and Maths. It’s really motivated me. I wouldn’t never have looked into further educational things without this.

“They have given me a second chance, just like he is trying to give to the homeless. I think what Prince William is trying to do is brilliant.”

‘Sarah Ferguson pushed me to have mammogram which found aggressive cancer,’ says TV star

Daphne Barak has revealed that Sarah, the Duchess of York, was the driving force behind her attending a mammogram appointment – which she says saved her life

Sarah, the Duchess of York, has been praised for “saving a TV presenters life.”

Broadcaster Daphne Barak has revealed that Sarah, 65, who has spoken openly about her own diagnosis of breast cancer, encouraged her to attend a mammogram after discovering her mum had died from breast cancer. Two years ago, the Duchess, was given her own diagnosis after attending a mammogram, she also tried to brush off.

At the time of the diagnosis, a spokesperson for the royal said her experience “underlines the importance of regular screening.” Sarah, who is the ex-wife of Prince Andrew underwent an operation following her diagnosis and later had a single mastectomy. Her sister, Jane, had encouraged Sarah to attend her appointment, despite the royal saying she didn’t feel like travelling from her home in Windsor to London due to it being a hot day.

Daphne says that despite having a family history of cancer, she was in complete denial that it would ever affect her. Over the course of her career, she has raised money for causes such as the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, as well as a fundraiser for the CLIC Sargent, childhood cancer specialists. “Sarah kept on at me until I finally got checked – and her fears were confirmed: I had an early-stage tumour around the size of a thumb nail in my breast,” she said.

Sarah encouraged Daphne to attend a mammogram which revealed she had breast cancer
Sarah encouraged Daphne to attend a mammogram which revealed she had breast cancer

She went on to write for the Daily Mail: “The fact it was still so small was, of course, down to Sarah’s persistence.” After her diagnosis, Daphne had a “small operation” which had a short recovery period. However, her ordeal was far from over. Daphne underwent a short intense course of radiation treatment to beat her cancer.

When she arrived home and was flooded with gifts and well wishes, it was then that her diagnosis properly hit her. Despite initially believing her battle against the cruel disease was over after her treatment, she received a call while on holiday in Italy, which knocked her for six. Her oncologist, Professor Becky Shatzky informed her that due to how aggressive her cancer was, there was a 47 percent chance it would return unless she had chemotherapy.

During her treatment, the broadcaster was staying at a hospital next to her hotel as her cold cap needed to be changed every 25 minutes. The cold cap is used to reduce hair loss during chemotherapy treatment. Throughout the duration of her chemotherapy, Daphne explained she suffered from vomiting on a regular basis, aching all over her body, feeling nauseous and unable to eat.

“It was a tearful, traumatic process,” she added. Cancer Research UK states that symptoms of breast cancer include a new lump or thickening in the breast or armpit, a change in the size, shape or feel of the breast, skin changes including puckering, dimpling, a rash or redness, fluid leaking from the nipple and a change in the position of the nipple

The organisation adds that there are several ways to reduce the risk of breast cancer including a health weight, healthy diet, consuming low amounts of alcohol, breast feeding, being active, having children or medicines including aspirin or anti-inflammatory drugs.

  • Meghan Markle will ‘struggle’ with new Netflix venture for one overlooked reason

Meghan Markle will ‘struggle’ with new Netflix venture for one overlooked reason

Paul Burrell – who worked for years as Princess Diana’s butler – has shared his thoughts on Meghan’s lifestyle ambitions, and why he thinks she will struggle to make her mark

Five years since she stepped down from royal life, Meghan Markle is working hard to establish herself as a lifestyle influencer.

Along with her recently-renamed As Ever brand – which will include products ranging from pet food to home decor and cookbooks – she is preparing for the launch of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan which will see the Duchess invite “friends and famous guests to a beautiful California estate, where she shares cooking, gardening and hosting tips”.

But Harry’s wife will struggle to compete in the highly-competitive lifestyle arena, according to former royal butler Paul Burrell, who has shared his thoughts on Meghan’s new ventures.

Paul – who worked for Princess Diana from 1987 until her death in 1997 – told Prime Casino: “It’s the Meghan Show. And this is a tough area to compete in, in America, because America is filled with the best hosts you can possibly have. Whether she’s good enough or not, the public will judge her. We’re waiting to see what she’s got and whether she can pull it out of the bag.

“People may warm to her,” he continued. “However, the royals are on a safe ship in calm waters, whereas Harry and Meghan have been in choppy seas for quite some time and you can’t actually continue that. You can’t. Something has to give. I’m eager to watch it and to see what she’s going to produce. I’m not so sure I want to buy her jam, but I think it’s going to be interesting to watch. Meghan will have to reveal her hand in this game of poker because Harry’s already revealed his. We haven’t yet seen Meghan’s.”

Paul added: “This Netflix show, which will be aired now in March, I think will go ahead. I think she’ll be judged by that, but let’s not forget, she’s an actress. She can act this role, but she can fall back on those acting skills. I doubt very much whether she’ll become a new Martha Stewart because she doesn’t have the lifestyle skills unless there’s somebody behind her, feeding her the lines as an actress would expect.”

It comes just days after Meghan announced she was renaming her lifestyle brand, changing from ‘American Riviera Orchard’ to ‘As Ever’. But within hours of the huge unveiling, the Duchess of Sussex started to face a backlash.

The mayor of a town on the Spanish island of Mallorca claimed Meghan had ‘copied’ its coat of arms when revealing her name logo that shows a palm tree flanked by two hummingbirds. It is understood that the duchess’ logo is inspired by her home in California, and is a nod to her husband Harry.

It emerged the brand shares its name with a New York-based clothing brand, and that Meghan has reportedly been banned from marketing clothing under the ‘As Ever’ label due to its resemblance to a budget-friendly Chinese fashion retailer.

Fans also accused Meghan of having a sly dig at the Royal Family in her Instagram announcement video, in which she claimed she hadn’t been able to share the cooking, gardening and crafting tips that she loves for several years.

But former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told the Mirror that the negativity against Meghan had been unfair – and her video actually portrayed simple statements of fact. She said: “Lots of new ventures hit teething problems and Meghan’s was no exception. She obviously should have been advised to research the copyright of her chosen brand name, but we all make mistakes. She has now tried to put the best spin on these early setbacks.

“I don’t think she was making a dig at the Royals by saying she hadn’t been able to share her cooking and gardening tips for the past few years. It is simply a statement of fact. She didn’t sound bitter or resentful about it. She sounded delighted that she is now free to resume what she has already proved to herself to be extremely good at: selling lifestyle ideas and suggestions.”

‘I was romantically linked to Princess Diana – here’s my side of the story’

Princess Diana was never out of the media spotlight, and it was no surprise when former England rugby captain Will Carling was rumoured to be seeing her that it hit the front pages

Will Carling was known as the bad boy of English rugby for many years before he was sensationally rumoured to be having an affair with Princess Diana.

Carling was known for many things throughout his time with the Red Roses between 1988 and 1996. The Harlequins ace was a lion on the field for club and country, but an equally unpredictable individual away from the sport.

Whether it was pinning members of the RFU “up against the wall” or inspiring England to reach the 1991 World Cup final, he was never far away from the back pages. However, he became a regular occupant of the feared front pages of the British press when he was rumoured to be in a relationship with Princess Diana while she was still married to then-Prince Charles.

Life became difficult for Carling, who was the son of a Lieutenant Colonel in the Royal Regiment of Wales, when the stories first started appearing in black and white. Looking back on the articles, Carling has been happy to tell his version of events in years gone by.

Back in 2004, when asked if the rumours about a romantic connection with the late ‘Queen of People’s Hearts’ was true by the Sunday Mirror, he firmly replied: “No, no, no – how many times do I have to say it? We were friends…”

Responding to the media fallout as a result of the rumours in another interview with The Telegraph, he added: “Front page is very different from back page. Yeah, it was not nice.

“Hey, a lot of that is my own fault, you can’t complain. You have to learn. Relationships that I got wrong… so, that’s what they got fascinated by. You look back on it and you think it was all blown out of all proportion, but it made a good story.”

His alleged intimacy with the Princess may have entrenched himself into the headlines at first, but his other relationships kept him in the media limelight too. Carling was slammed for leaving his partner Ali Cockayne to move in with Lisa Cooke, who was the wife of his team-mate and Harlequins’ longest serving captain David Cooke.

Explaining what happened in 2004, he said: “I have to admit that I didn’t handle things very well, not very well at all. But there are two sides to every story, and no one has heard mine. That’s my choice, and I live with it.”

While he went on to have two children with Cooke, he also left his then one-year-old son Henry when he split from Cockayne. At the time, he said: “It was just one of those things… but there are plenty of reasons that go into the breakdown of a relationship, none of which I am going to discuss in public.

The day will come when he will have to know what happened between me and his mum, and when the time is right I will sit down and explain things to him, father to son. That’s my responsibility. I wouldn’t want him hearing it second-hand from someone else.”

While there were a lot of controversies, there were many high points during his time as the leader of the Red Roses. When he was handed the captaincy in 1988 age 22, he was the youngest ever player to be granted the honour. Over the course of 72 caps, he was captain on 59 occasions.

During his rein, England won the Five Nations Grand Slam on three occasions (1991, 1992 and 1995) and also reached the 1991 World Cup final, which saw Australia overcome England 12-6.

Meghan’s former boss from her tenure on the hit legal drama Suits has encouraged the Duchess of Sussex to return to acting and said she has an ‘open invitation’ to appear on the show

One of Meghan Markle’s former employers is seriously keen to see her back on our screens – and he’s made it clear he would be happy to facilitate her getting back into acting.

Long before Meghan became a working royal, she had a successful acting career, becoming a household name on the hit legal drama Suits. The show – which Meghan left in the seventh season – has been given a major revamp, with a new LA spinoff that was released on 23 February in the US.

While a UK air date for the series hasn’t been confirmed, the show’s creator Aaron Kosch has said Meghan has an “open invitation” to make a cameo on Suits LA, if she ever fancied returning to her acting roots.

“So, look, to me, we have thought about whether it be Meghan or any of the other cast members coming on and playing themselves as an actor,” Korsh, 58, told People magazine. “I think for me that’s a little … My brain blows up at the thought of that.

“So I think it blows up the world too much…Obviously, if Meghan wants to come back under any circumstances, Meghan can come back.”

When asked if it was an open invitation, he confirmed she “of course” did, “Always. But I think realistically, it would be too much of an explosion of the fourth wall to do that,” he added.

Meghan has recently returned to another professional stomping ground with the launch of her lifestyle brand As Ever, and her new show for Netflix: With Love, Meghan.

For many years, before marrying Prince Harry, Meghan ran a popular lifestyle blog called The Tig, which covered everything from health and wellness, to travel and food. She shut the website down when things with Harry got more serious, and she was poised to become a full-time working member of the Royal Family, but her new ventures see her return to the lifestyle space – leaving her long-term fans thrilled.

With Love, Meghan will be an eight-part series that will drop on Netflix on 4 March, and see Meghan provide her audience with all her best tips and tricks for hosting and entertaining – along with the help of some of her celebrity pals.

Netflix has embarked on a new venture with Meghan, and will sell her As Ever products in their new brick-and-mortar stores: Netflix House. The stores will include merchandise from many of their hit shows, and will see Meghan’s products – like her jam spreads – hit the shelves for the first time.

Linda Robson scolded as she swears live on Lorraine and admits ‘I didn’t realise that was a bad word’

Christine Lampard had to step in and issue an apology to Loose Women viewers as Linda Robson swore during her interview

Linda Robson joined stand-in Lorraine host Christine Lampard on Friday to discuss a number of topics including her dream soap role, family life and supporting NHS workers.

But the host had to issue an apology when Linda revealed which soap she most wanted to work on.

Christine remarked: “There’s one thing on the list and it’s EastEnders isn’t it?”

“Oh yeah, I did do one wartime one Sibby Street years ago, I played Lou Bill’s sister Flo Bill but I have hinted a few times that even a little cameo role or whatever but I’d love to play a real b***h,” Linda replied.

Christine began laughing as Linda continued: “Or someone really nasty because I always get light parts.”

The host cut in: “You know it’s a funny thing because I thought, she knows it’s early morning, she’s not allowed to swear for me and you just let a little one slip so I’m sorry if no one likes that word.”

“What the B word?” asked Linda, as Christine scolded: “Don’t say any other words!”

The Loose Women host replied: “I didn’t realise it was a bad word,” as Christine explained they often had to tell her not to swear on Loose Women.

Linda’s appearance comes after she opened up on Loose Women co-star Ruth Langsford’s split from Eamonn Holmes. Speaking at the National Reality TV Awards, she told OK!: “We’re staying out of it because it’s not our business but we’re supporting her in any way we can and just keeping her happy. It’s sad for the both of them but just keeping her spirits high.”

Ruth returned to hosting duties on Loose Women last month but failed to address the split live on air.
