This feels like a new chapter that I’m so excited that I’m able to share and I’ve been able to learn from all of you.”

“But perhaps, above all, it can lift our spirits to such a degree and all the more so when it brings us together in celebration. In other words, it brings us joy.” Charles added: “I particularly wanted to share with you songs which have brought me joy.”

Charles grew up playing the piano, cello, and trumpet and was also part of the school choir and orchestra at Gordonstoun, which he attended between the ages of 13 and 18. Former Baywatch star and ex-wife of David Hasselhoff, Pamela Bach, has been found dead at the age of 62

The ex-wife of David Hasselhoff has died aged 62.

Former Baywatch star Pamela Bach was found dead at home after family “hadn’t heard from her in days”. She was discovered to have passed at her Los Angeles home on Wednesday.

It’s reported family members had gone to check on her after not hearing from her. They are said to have called police at around 10pm. TMZ reports Pamela died by suicide but didn’t leave a note. It’s reported a gun was found near her body.

Hasselhoff also told the publication: “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”

Pamela had appeared on hit series Baywatch for 10 years as cafe owner Kaye Morgan. She also featured on shows such as Knight Rider, Cheers, The Fall Guy, TJ Hooker and the Young and the Restless.

It was on the set of Knight Rider that Pamela met David. They ended up getting married in 1989 and stayed together until 2006. They filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The pair share two children together, Hayley and Taylor Ann. Following David and Pamela’s contentious divorce, they both got custody of one daughter.

Following the news of her death, daughter Hayley took to her Instagram Stories to share a throwback post of her mum and dad smiling. The image is thought to show them together at Universal Studios Hollywood at the opening of the Jurassic Park ride in 1996. Alongside the photo – which was part of a post by another account from 2023 that she shared on the platform – model Hayley added a white heart emoji.

Pamela also has one granddaughter named London. The actress had shared her gratitude for her grandchild in her last Instagram post. As the new year chimed in, Pamela wrote: “As we step into 2025, my heart is full of gratitude, especially for my precious grandbaby, London.” She continued: ” Watching her grow and seeing her smile light up my world is truly the greatest blessing. My wish for all of you this year is health, happiness, and an abundance of love. May 2025 be filled with beautiful moments, laughter, and all the blessings your hearts can hold. Here’s to a year of making cherished memories, spreading joy, and embracing every precious moment!”

She shared a sweet video of her grandchild and also an image of herself standing beside a lavish Christmas tree. She also took to her daughter Hayley’s Instagram page seemingly hours before her death. On her daughter’s post in which she is seen getting her makeup done, Pamela simply shared an emoji face with love heart eyes.

Following the news of her passing, fans took to social media with messages of condolence. On Twitter/X, one user wrote: “RIP Pamela Bach Hasselhoff I will miss you,” alongside a broken heart emoji and an image of the star. Another wrote: “I went to school with Pamela. She was very beautiful and sweet at that time. Her mother reminded me of Jane Austen’s Mrs Bennet, Pride & Prejudice, who had the additional challenge of being divorced when it was very rare. Pamela was her hope. Godspeed.”

  • Strictly Come Dancing’s Kristina Rihanoff ‘splits from Ben Cohen’ after 12 years together

Strictly Come Dancing’s Kristina Rihanoff ‘splits from Ben Cohen’ after 12 years together

Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Kristina Rihanoff has reportedly split from her rugby star partner Ben Cohen after meeting on the BBC show in 2013

Kristina Rihanoff has reportedly split from rugby union player Ben Cohen after meeting on Strictly Come Dancing over 12 years ago.

The couple originally found love on the BBC show in 2013, when Ben – who was married to then-wife Abby Cohen – was paired with the professional dancer

While on the show, Russian dancer Kristina, 47, and rugby star Ben, 46, were reportedly hit by the Strictly curse, with the couple becoming an item after Ben split from wife Abby. They later welcomed daughter Mila together in 2016.

Speaking about the couple’s split, friends told The Sun: “It’s like the curse in reverse. This will be like karma for Abby, she was so upset when Ben left her. It’s like he has got his comeuppance.”

The couple have opened up about their financial struggles over the past year and have placed their £1.75million home in Northampton up for sale, while Ben has been removed as a director of their joint yoga business.

The friend added: “The past six months have been hell for them and it has torn the love they had apart. For the sake of their family, they have chosen to go forward as separate individuals.”

“Those close to them who know them as a couple had hoped they would be able to work things out but for now it’s over and it looks like there’s no going back.” The Mirror has approached Kristina and Ben’s representatives for comment.

In September, a court heard how the couple were so in debt that they were “fighting not to lose their relationship and their home” as the former Strictly professional appealed a conviction for driving without insurance

At the time, the court heard how Ben and Kristina’s businesses, which include a yoga studio, suffered as a result of Covid, with Ben saying: “I get up every day and I fight not to lose everything to lose my cars and my house and my relationship. I’m so overdrawn.”

When asked about the impact of his financial struggles on his relationship with Kristina, he added: “We’re still living together. We’re in it financially.

“We’re in business together so the problem is that we opened the business before Covid and we got the worst severities of it and in all honestly this is just another problem for me to deal with.

“I’ve got credit cards that are overdrawn. I’m overdrawn in both accounts. We have got a business debt because of Covid. It’s just another problem.

During his rugby career, Ben played for Northampton, Brive and Sale Sharks as well as England from 2000 until 2006. He retired from the sport in 2011 and in recent years, appeared on The Jump, The Celebrity Chase and The Real Full Monty.

Kristina rose to fame in 2008 when she joined the cast of Strictly, taking part in eight series during her time on the show. She left in 2015 before entering the Celebrity Big Brother house the following year.

Dragons’ Den viewers make same complaint as they’re left baffled over ‘annoying’ episode

Fans of BBC’s hit investment series, Dragons’ Den, were left far from happy with the latest airing, with some voicing their discontent at the ‘annoying’ episode

Fans of Dragons’ Den were in unison with their dismay as the popular BBC show aired on Thursday.

The investment series showcased more business hopefuls on prime time television – but some fans were less than happy with what they were watching. While the new series is underway, viewers were quick to point out there was an issue with the latest episode

On Twitter /X, fans fumed that the BBC had placed a repeat episode in the slot, with many having expected a brand new showing. One user raged: “A repeat of Dragon’s Den sneakily added onto the current series as though I wouldn’t notice #dragonsden”

Another agreed, saying: “#DragonsDen annoying they leap between new and old episodes without telling us!,” while a third said: “Why are they showing a repeat during a new series?! #dragonsden.” A fourth questioned: “Nah, why are the bbc showing a repeat from 2023?? #dragonsden.”

One of the businesses up for grabs was a camper van company called Red Cote Limited. Sara Davies was on hand to offer her expertise – while also getting her dad involved in the project. While she claimed it was the most excited she’d been about a project, the episode initially aired almost two years ago.

Now, it’s claimed ITV have “poached” the dragon from the BBC. She initially joined the organisation in 2019 as the youngest ever female investor. Now, it’s thought she has been turned to become a host of a new daytime quiz show on ITV.

The mum-of-two, 40, has recently finished presenting a 16-episode run of The Big Idea Works on the BBC. However, she is now expected to take on the role of the host of a new game show called This is Money. According to ITV, the new show is described as the “fastest quiz on TV”. Viewers will see competitors battle against the clock as they try to hold onto the jackpot prize they receive at the start of the show.

Sara has said she is “absolutely delighted” to be taking the helm. Speaking to the Sun, she said: “This show is unlike anything you’ve seen before — it’s full-on, it’s exhilarating, and the pressure is real. It’s going to be a rollercoaster of excitement and tension, and I can’t wait to see who’ll keep their cool under pressure. Get ready for a make or break adventure, because time really is money!

Good Morning Britain star clashes with Dan Wootton as Meghan Markle row erupts

Good Morning Britain contributor Narinder Kaur has locked horns with Dan Wootton over his scathing review of Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series – With Love, Meghan.

Tempers flared online as Good Morning Britain’s Narinder Kaur clashed with Dan Wootton after he lambasted Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan.

Controversial journalist Dan used a segment of his Outspoken podcast to slam the show, stating he “had given up over four hours of my life to watch With Love, Meghan” and went on to deride it as “the worst TV series ever made”.

He also accused Netflix of “producing an atrocity” and pledged to unmask the “tissues of lies” he alleged the Duchess weaves.

Taking his critique to Twitter, he asserted: “Meghan Markle’s shock new lie as we review the WORST TV show in history – Netflix’s With Love, Meghan – so you don’t have to watch it yourself.”

However, Narinder was quick to counter his opinion, writing: “Lies, Dan. I’ve just watched four episodes and without any doubt, Meghan comes across as thoughtful, kind, welcoming, smart, caring and bloody hardworking in that kitchen. She radiates with beauty, and actually – I genuinely didn’t expect to like her this much! She’s a star.”

Dan responded with disbelief, pressing Narinder: “ARE YOU SERIOUS! ? Like actually serious? Give me one example of how she comes across that way… x,” reports the Express.

Narinder stood her ground in the debate, countering: “Yes. Really. In fact, I was going to WhatsApp you and say, ‘Come on Dan, she’s so damn likeable.’ With her friends – she shows sooo much care, she thinks of what THEY like, what their kids would like, she’s so wary of making them feel welcome, she for sure loves cooking and cleaning! No airs and graces. Harry is extremely lucky.”

Meanwhile, Netflix viewers have been voicing their thoughts on the eight-part series that showcases Meghan inviting celebrity pals to her stunning California home. Throughout the show, she dishes out cooking and gardening tips and delves into her past and Royal life with Prince Harry.

Opinions are split, some tagging it “boring” while others call it “soothing” and “feel good”. Fans are chiming in, with one enthused viewer posting: “Okay, I’m not even 30 minutes into episode 1 and I can honestly say #WithLoveMeghan is the best. I needed this show. With all the drama happening here in the US, it’s great to watch a fun, relaxing, peaceful, joyful, informative, great show. Thank you Meghan and Netflix.”

Another chimes in revelling in its “light and warm” vibes, praising Meghan’s “genuine care” for those she hosts.

The Duchess-produced series aims to meld “practical how-tos and candid conversation with friends, new and old”, as described in its press blurb. Initially set for a January release, the show faced delays due to the Los Angeles wildfires.

McFly musician Danny Jones has made his first TV appearance since being caught on camera kissing Maura Higgins, with the star appearing in a pre-recorded special for The One Show

McFly star Danny Jones has appeared on TV for the first time since making headlines for being caught on film kissing Maura Higgins at a BRIT Awards afterparty.

The 38-year-old, who is married to Georgia Horsley, was spotted sharing a drunken kiss with his I’m A Celebrity co-star at Universal’s BRIT Awards afterparty earlier this week, sending shockwaves through the entertainment industry

Now, the star has made his first TV appearance since the scandal broke, appearing on a pre-recorded episode of The One Show. Danny appeared alongside bandmate and fellow The Voice judge Tom Fletcher to read a short story at the BBC programme’s 500 Words competition.

Appearing on stage to announce one of the short story winners with Tom, Danny said: “The silver winner in the age five to seven category is…Fun Cats by Michael Morley.

The special, which was filmed on February 26, saw hosts Roman Kemp and Alex Jones announce the winners of its 500 Words competition, where children were encouraged to send in their short stories.

Taking place at Buckingham Palace, a number of celebrities read out the six winning stories – including Olivia Colman, Rose Ayling-Ellis and McFly’s Tom and Danny.

Speaking after the ceremony, Danny told the camera: “Today has been fun. Having a little boy myself, the power of stories, the power of imagination. It’s inspiring me, not just the kids, so it’s been an amazing day.”

Earlier today, Danny broke cover for the first time, having been spotted in photos with Tom as they spoke to Queen Camilla at the event. The Queen Consort was seen giggling as she spoke to the TV bunch, which included JB Gill, Rob Brydon and Gladiator stars Fire and Nitro. Meanwhile, Sir Lenny Henry, Frank Cottrell-Boyce and Marlorie Blackman were among the judges of the event.

Earlier today, The Mirror revealed that Danny’s wife Georgia is “struggling” and feels “humiliated” after her husband’s kiss with Maura and is focused on protecting her son, according to a source.

The former Miss England model recently cancelled upcoming public appearances at the Baby Show with her Mum’s the Word podcast co-host Kelsey Parker – and an insider told The Mirror that she’s keen to shield the pair’s seven-year-old son Cooper from the fallout.

“Georgia is struggling at the moment. She isn’t just having to navigate the circumstances, but doing it publicly,” the source said. “She has been humiliated. People are quick to forget there is a child in the middle of this mess.”

Meanwhile, the couple are reportedly in crunch talks amid the drunken kiss and are “keen to move on” from the scandal. “This saga has been embarrassing and Danny had a lot of explaining to do,” a source claimed.

  • ‘Hidden gem’ TV show hailed ‘better than Breaking Bad’ is now available to binge

‘Hidden gem’ TV show hailed ‘better than Breaking Bad’ is now available to binge

Viewers have described the series as “criminally overlooked” as well as “captivating and powerful”, while critics have lauded it as a “dark, glittering gem” and “wickedly funny”

As darkly funny crime dramas go, Breaking Bad is often cited as the best ever.

But there’s a “hidden gem” some viewers claim is even better than Vince Gilligan’s multi-award winning show. And critics have been just as effusive in their praise, describing the series as “tremendous”, commending the writing, directing and acting.

Australian show Mr Inbetween is a character-driven crime drama that’s action-packed, thrilling, tense, touching and hilarious at various individual points – so it’s easy to see why it’s been compared to Breaking Bad.

Now, fans of the hit American series are being urged to watch the lesser-known Aussie programme, which is three seasons long and available to stream – or binge – in full, on Disney Plus.

First aired in 2018, Mr Inbetween follows Ray Shoesmith, a hitman and ‘fixer’ in Sydney’s criminal underworld. When he’s not busy killing people, collecting debts or trafficking drugs, Ray has to juggle his parental responsibilities with his relationship and caring for his terminally ill brother.

The show somehow manages to be funny, despite its often dark subject matter. Scott Ryan, the show’s creator, developed the series from his 2005 movie The Magician. He plays the lead role, delivering a deadpan, understated performance as Ray, who works to a very clear code of ethics.

It has an impressive 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Debi Enker, from The Age, called the show “a dark, glittering gem” while The Hollywood Reporter’s Tim Goodman said: “The secret sauce of Mr Inbetween that’s essential is that the show is funny. You can’t have a dark heart like this without leavening it with humour.” Ben Travers, from indieWire, described it as “smart, wickedly funny”

Every episode of the show is directed by Nash Edgerton, brother of Hollywood star Joel. The Australian’s Graeme Blundell wrote: “Edgerton, as director, achieves a delicate counterpoint between the ironic and the gruesome, no easy task – it is really very funny.”

Viewers are just as complimentary. On Rotten Tomatoes, Shaun R wrote of the show: “Outstanding in how it seamlessly combines genuinely funny moments with moments of tragedy and violence. A great character who is realistically casual yet deadly.”

Tim K insists it is “easily the best Aussie show ever made and among the best series of all time” while an anonymous reviewer says it’s “the best TV series to ever come out of Australia”, adding that it’s “criminal that more people don’t know about this show”.

On Reddit, one viewer wrote: “One of, if not the it the best television series ever. Perfect with zero fat and zero filler. I consider it better than Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul and I love those.”

Several fans described it as a “hidden gem”, telling how they had binged it in a matter of days. Writing on Reddit, another viewer praised the show’s “brilliant” finale. They added: “In any given episode, it can veer from dark to funny to tragic to adrenaline-inducing.”

And it seems those who are just discovering the show are keen for others to share their experience. On X, Con_William last month said: “If you haven’t yet seen Mr Inbetween, do yourself a favour and check it out. Brilliant show.” On March 1, Andrew Clark wrote: Anyone looking for a TV hidden gem should try Mr Inbetween – it’s absolutely superb. Just finished all 3 seasons.”

LFI/PhotoshotAlso on X, GmanLives said in February: Mr Inbetween is without a doubt one of the best TV series to ever come out of Australia. Easily one of the most bingeable shows ever made as well.”

A month earlier, Eliot Ranch wrote: If you’re looking for an amazing TV show to watch, Mr Inbetween is criminally overlooked. Amazing talent from @nashedgerton and Scott Ryan. It’s some of the best storytelling I’ve seen in years. Be prepared to have your emotions carted round the houses though. Oof.”

Josey Wales, posting last month, simply said: “If you haven’t seen the show Mr Inbetween you’re missing out.”

Mr Inbetween consists of three seasons. Each episode is shorter than 30 minutes. It’s available to stream now on Disney Plus

Loose Women star Christine Lampard has opened up about her husband Frank’s intelligence, revealing some surprise facts about the ex-footballer

Christine Lampard made a surprise admission about her husband Frank during Wednesday’s (5 March) episode of Loose Women. The TV presenter was back on the panel for another instalment of the daytime show, with her footballer husband being brought up in conversation.

The panel discussed Frank’s intelligence, questioning if Christine is as clever as her husband. The topic arose after it was revealed Frank once took an IQ test and scored very high.

“When he was playing at Chelsea, they made all of the players do an IQ test. It was actually just a foundation kind of IQ measurement in case there was a head injury playing the sport, so they could do another test later on,” Christine explained to her co-stars.

She admitted: “He completed smashed it. He did brilliantly in it. Some big high score. Mensa almost picking up the phone!”

Christine’s co-star Denise Welch then brought up Frank’s GCSE results, revealing she’d previously been informed that he achieved an A* in Latin and completed the qualification a year before his peers.

“Yes he’s got an A* in Latin,” Christine said, jokingly rolling her eyes. “I am joking. He is good at working things out. I understand why he does well on these kind of tests.”

Frank, who is now the head coach at Coventry City FC, has an IQ of 150, putting him in the top one to two percent of the country. He has previously opened up about taking the test during his time at Chelsea, revealing the opportunity arose after his team mate John Terry suffered concussion in 2007

He told the Coventry Telegraph: “I just breezed it. I was at Chelsea and it was in the aftermath of JT getting kicked in the head in the Carabao Cup final. Our doctor, who was Brian English at the time, made us do IQ tests to get us a base level of IQ so we could be registered again if you have a concussion or a head injury.”

Asked about his high score, he said: “Other people were more interested in it than me, to be fair. I’m quite proud of it. It just beat my wife, Christine, which was the best thing about it. She was just below me. I don’t know the exact numbers. I think she’s around the same.”

Speaking on the Loose Women podcast, the panellist recalled being “the typical blooming mum” during pregnancy who was not anxious about having a baby, until her mental health took a turn.

Denise said while she “immediately” bonded with Matty, now 35, after a difficult 42-hour labour, she lost control of her emotions five days into being a mother.

The 66-year-old explained: “I was going through the emotions of smiling, and I went to bed that night and I had the first panic attack I’d ever had in my entire life, from nowhere. It wasn’t because I was anxious, it was from nowhere.

“When I got up from maybe a two-hour sleep, I had gone to bed with full breastfeeding boobs, and I woke up with Spaniel’s ears.

“All of my milk had gone, the whole lactation process had stopped and the depression set in.”

Denise describes that feeling at the time as “blackness” which “rose from the bottom” and she was later told she was “between postnatal depression and puerperal psychosis”.

“So I was in and out of lucidity as to, who is this child?”, she continued.

At one point, the Loose Women star said her mother had found her trying to crawl out of the window in the lounge, which was followed by a visit from medics.

Because of her illness, Denise “lost the ability to love” Matty, adding: “I couldn’t love anything, I felt nothing.”

The actress went on to praise her “incredible” mum who encouraged her to prepare the bottles for Matty and feed him when needed, in a bid to get her to bond with him.

“She knew that he needed feeding every four hours, and I had no natural inclination to pick up this child,” she explained.

“I didn’t hate the child, I didn’t want anything to happen to it, it was just like, why is this child here?”

Denise said she began to see “light at the end of the tunnel” once prescribed medication for what she calls the “unwelcome visitor”, and admits to still having good and bad days.

Reflecting on the pair’s current bond now, she added: “I’m so lucky that we are, you know, Matty and I have a great relationship. It’s so nice considering the start of it.

The singer has since written a song about his mum’s depression titled She Lays Down, based on his adult view of her illness.

With his band, Matty will be bringing their greatest hits to the stage as one of the headliners at this year’s Glastonbury.

Announced on Thursday, other artists taking to the stage in June include Neil Young, Olivia Rodrigo and the legend Sir Rod Stewart.
