I’m a Celeb’s Jane Moore reveals personal bombshell leaving campmates speechless

Jane Moore, known for sharing her views on Loose Women and her lengthy career in journalism, spoke to campmates on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! on ITV on Wednesday

Jane Moore once left a tattoo parlour mid procedure – because it was “too painful” to complete.

The Loose Woman told her I’m a Celebrity co-stars the comical story about when she went for the etching at just 18 – but found it too agonising so left after an outline was done.

Speaking on Wednesday’s show on ITV, she said the outline now resembles a “golden eagle” because her bum has got bigger since. The confession left her campmates, including Corrie actor Alan Halsall, McFly singer Danny Jones, N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos, speechless.

The gang were eventually pictured bursting into laughter at Jane’s cheeky mishap, which she shared after asking Danny about his tattoo on his right leg. The musician, from Bolton, Greater Manchester, admitted he was underage when he got the large inking done but, as a kid, wanted something with Bruce Springsteen lyrics on.

Then Jane, who has been a regular on Loose Women since 2013, said: “When I was about 18, I thought I’m gonna get a bluebird on my bum. They just did the outline and I went ‘too painful, thanks’, and I just left… So I’ve just got this outline. It’s like a golden eagle now because my arse has got bigger.”

It offered Danny, 38, light relief as later in the show, he broke down as he opened up on battling anxiety since he was a teenager. Talking about therapy and his emotions, jungle co-stars Oti Mabuse and Tulisa both praised the musician for opening up.

Asked about therapy, Danny went on: “Yeah, I’ve been in therapy since I was 19 for anxiety.” It’s then that he detailed an on-air panic attack that left him “freaking out” during a televised interview. He revealed: “I was freaking out and I couldn’t answer the question that got asked to me. Heart rate goes crazy.”

Jane had asked whether he’d suffered with it from childhood, with Danny becoming upset with his head in his hands as he told her: “I think I escaped a lot.”

As he broke down, Tulisa said in the Bush Telegraph: “We’re seeing a lot of emotion coming out of Danny which is beautiful.” Back in camp Danny then thanked his campmates.

  • Sad truth behind Zoe Ball’s shock decision to quit Radio 2 despite £950k salary

Sad truth behind Zoe Ball’s shock decision to quit Radio 2 despite £950k salary

Zoe Ball is leaving BBC Radio 2 next month after six years on air following a tough year after losing her beloved mum

On Tuesday, BBC Radio 2 presenter Zoe Ball shocked listeners when she announced that she was leaving her duties on the show after six years – and now the real reason for her departure has been ‘revealed’.

Zoe, 53, shared her heartfelt gratitude, saying she is “really touched” by the wave of well-wishes following her announcement that she will be stepping down as host of BBC Radio 2’s Breakfast Show.

The media star plans to leave next month and cites wanting to “focus on family” as her reason but also expressed that she’s “really chuffed” for Scott Mills, who will step into the early morning role.

Ball succeeded Chris Evans in 2019 and after six years, she’s ready to bid farewell to the dawn chorus, indicating it’s time for her to “step away from the very early mornings and focus on family”, with her final broadcast scheduled for December 20. Meanwhile, Mills, currently hosting Radio 2’s afternoon slot, is set to take over from January.

On Instagram, Ball showed appreciation: “Really touched, thanks for the messages, thrilled for my mates Scott, Trevor, Spoony and Sophie.” TV favourite Rylan Clark hailed Zoe as “being the best wake-up for the past six years” while also lauding Mills in his Instagram stories: “Scott, I’ve never been more happy for someone. If you grazed your knee you would bleed radio. I know how much this means to you and I’m so so proud of you”.

Beaming alongside Mills for a photo op outside New Broadcasting House, Zoe told reporters of her pride for her colleague Mills. “It has all turned out nicely,” she said contently.

“I’m really chuffed for my mate and really excited about it.” Ball warmed the hearts of her fans during her Tuesday radio show when she addressed her audience, saying, “You know I think the world of you all, listeners, and it truly has been such a privilege to share the mornings with you, to go through life’s little ups and downs, we got through the lockdown together, didn’t we?”

“We’ve shared a hell of a lot, the good times, the tough times, there’s been a lot of laughter. And I am going to miss you cats.” Despite the love for her job, Ball couldn’t resist adding a note on her early starts: “But I won’t miss the 4am alarm call, if I’m completely honest.”

Zoe’s shock departure from BBC Radio 2 comes after she had an unexplained six-week absence this summer. Listeners were growing increasingly concerned for the radio presenter, but after six weeks, Zoe returned to the show as she declared ‘I’m back!’ in an upbeat tone.

At the time, Zoe said she was happy to be back as she told Radio 2 listeners that she was a ‘wanderer’ no more. However, insiders have now claimed that the much-loved star was masking the unhappiness that had kept her off air for six weeks.

Sources have claimed that Zoe’s reasoning for leaving her duties on Radio 2 are down to a desire to spend more time with her kids, Woody, 23, and Nellie, 14 – after the death of her beloved mum earlier this year.

    Zoe and her son, Woody

    Image:
Instagram/woody_cook)“She simply wants to live differently, which means having more of a family life,” the insider told Mail Online after Zoe herself said that she has had enough of the 4am wake-up calls after six years on the show.

The catalyst for the change in Zoe’s perspective on her work-life balance is reportedly down to the passing of her beloved mother Julia, who died earlier this year.

Of her decision to finally call it a day after six years at BBC Radio 2, a source said: “In the end, this was completely her decision. She came to them [the BBC] in September after she had had a break to think about her life and said: ‘I’m done.’ The BBC… wanted a bit of time to put everything in place, which they were able to do. They looked at who might do it… I think they only seriously considered Vernon Kay and Scott Mills.”

Gogglebox favourites axed from show after three years share emotional statement

A Gogglebox couple has been axed from the Channel 4 show after almost four years on our screens, with the pair revealing that they were “not asked back” by the broadcaster

Gogglebox couple Roisin Kelly and Joe Kyle have been axed from the Channel 4 show after three years on the sofa, the favourites have said in an emotional post. The couple made Gogglebox history as the first Scottish pair to appear on the show back in February 2022.

Roisin, 26, and Joe, 28, have now revealed that they were “not asked back” by Channel 4 for the next series and have been “dumped” by the show after almost four years. Taking to TikTok with the sad statement, Roisin wrote: “After three and a half years of sitting on the sofa channel 4 have decided it’s time for Joe and I to stretch our legs and have not asked us back for season 26.

“Therefore we are leaving the Gogglebox family. We couldn’t be more grateful to Studio Lambert for the opportunity, the experience has actually been so mad and we will miss watching tv with you all on Friday nights! It’s been an honour to represent Scotland as some of the first Scottish people on the show and prove we don’t actually need subtitles.”

Roisin went onto thank the show’s crew, sharing: “We have made friends for life and after filming every week for years you have become like our family! We could not have asked for better people to work with and we will miss you immensely.”

After thanking their fans, she added: “It for sure has been a once in a lifetime opportunity. Time to watch tv in silence for a bit and put down the popcorn. Miss you already, Roisin and Joe x x x.”

Alongside the statement, Roisin also shared a series of memes they had made – including one of a screengrab from Toy Story where Channel 4 is villain Sid and the couple are Woody being dropped to the floor. “I don’t want to play with you anymore,” Sid is seen saying.

Alex Jones was brought to tears during tonight’s episode of The One Show as her rarely-seen husband Charlie made a surprise appearance as she celebrated 15 years on the show

The One Show presenter Alex Jones became emotional during tonight’s episode as her husband Charlie Thomson surprised her as the series celebrated her 15 year as a host. Alex fought tears as presenters Roman Kemp and Richard Osman welcomed her husband of 10 years onto the programme.

“It’s very weird, it’s weird being this side,” she said as Charlie sat down next to her on the guests’ sofa. “It’s weird being next to you. You’re normally in the garden, building the treehouse now.”

When asked how he felt about Alex, Charlie told the show: “I’m extremely proud, not just from what she’s achieved here but also with the family at home. Balancing those two has been amazing and keeping it tide over at different times. Covid period, always there.” It comes after The One Show was halted as guest Richard Osman replaced Alex Jones on air.

Alex started to well up, adding: “I couldn’t do it without this man at home who keeps everything running while I’m here and sorts out the children and bed time while I’m here.” She added: “And mum and dad and the family and friends at home who keep my feet on the ground.

“Everybody here as well and our viewers who’ve put up with me for 15 years – thank you.”

Alex and insurance broker Charlie married in 2015 and now share three children. The broadcaster previously opened up about the couple’s “rough period” in 2023, when Charlie was battling Lyme Disease and viral meningitis.

Speaking on Gabby Logan’s podcast The MidPoint, Alex said that he is “in a much better place now” but was a “shadow of himself” while he suffered with his mental health over the illness.

“It’s my husband’s own story to tell, so I won’t go into detail, but he suffers with his mental health and we’ve just been through a really bad period where, bless him, he had Lyme Disease and then he had viral meningitis. Lots of things happened recently,” she said.

Ahead of her 15th anniversary special on The One Show, Alex set to record straight around her future on the show. Speaking to Scott Mill’s BBC Radio 2 Breakfast show on Friday, Alex challenged Scott after he said that she’s had a great “innings”.

  • My Mum, Your Dad’s Roger tears up as Janey shares her family’s verdict of their romance

My Mum, Your Dad’s Roger tears up as Janey shares her family’s verdict of their romance

My Mum, Your Dad’s Janey and Roger joined the Loose Women panel to discuss their romance and revealed they were practically living together after finding love on the ITV dating show

Roger and Janey, who first captured the hearts of ITV viewers when they sparked a romance on My Mum, Your dad in 2023, joined the Loose Women panel a year later to discuss their life post-show, revealing that they were practically living together.

However, the conversation took an emotional turn when Janey shared what her father had said to her after seeing her with Roger. She remembered him saying ‘we like Roger, don’t push him away,’ which moved Roger to tears live on the show.

Janey recounted: “They asked, ‘So why are you here? ‘ and I could feel it coming, I wasn’t going to say anything but I thought, ‘I’ve got to be honest here,’ I know I’ve pushed people away in the past. There’s some traits in me and adopted people that you carry and never address.

“I felt for the first time in my life, ‘Well done Janey, you’ve just gone and said it on live TV.’ You don’t even tell people you meet but thank goodness I did.

    Roger

“People messaged me saying, ‘that’s exactly how I felt,’ and when I said I push people away, something very sweet – my Dad doesn’t do reality TV, that’s how he is, but he messaged me after watching it and said, ‘We love Roger, don’t push him away’”, reports OK!.

The entire panel cooed “aww” as a teary-eyed Roger was seen wiping his tears away.

Roger meanwhile opened up about his instant connection with Janey, revealing to the panel: “It didn’t show on the show itself but she came in and I obviously liked what I saw straight away. We just hit it off. She just said randomly, ‘what am I like? ‘ and I said, ‘I know what you’re like.’ Everyone was looking at us and we were off in our own little world.”

Jane Moore chimed in with a question about the couple’s unique experience: “Is it weird a year on to see the moment you first met on TV?”

    Roger and Janey
Roger revealed they have ‘more or less moved in together’(Image: No credit)

Roger shared his emotional reaction to reliving their first encounter on screen: “It’s lovely to see but I was filling up watching it,” while Janey confessed, “When you see it, it’s like ‘oh no, don’t set me off.’ It was a very emotional time. There was anxiety, it was a big thing. It does take you back. It’s an outer body experience really.”

Reflecting on her mindset before meeting Roger, Janey said she had a premonition, telling herself, “I could meet someone very special” just before he walked into her life.

Linda Robson delved deeper into the personal aspects of their relationship, asking: “How important was it for your kids to approve of the relationship?”

Janey spoke candidly about the significance of her son’s acceptance: “Massively,” she said. “William was a bit more hard work I would say but I think it’s because it’s just been myself and him for 19, 20 years. He’s not lived with anyone. He’s protective over me and seen me get hurt.”

The couple also revealed how their lives have intertwined over the past year, with Roger making himself at home by placing three toothbrushes at Janey’s place, prompting her playful remark that he needed more space for his clothes.

Fans of This Morning expressed their concerns over Joel Dommett and his behaviour during today’s (Aug 6) episode.

The comedian hosted the ITV daytime show alongside Emma Willis on Wednesday, while regular hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard enjoy their summer break.

However, despite a history of fronting many TV shows, including The Masked Singer and Survivor, viewers felt the 40-year-old appeared “uncomfortable”.

EXCLUSIVE: Loose Women’s Judi Love furiously defends co-star amid ‘difference of opinions’ on show

Comedian and presenter Judi Love talks Loose Women, comedy and being a single mum

Since bursting onto our screens with her infectious energy and humour, Judi Love has become one of TV’s most beloved personalities. Best known for her role on ITV ’s long-running panel show Loose Women, the comedian, actress and presenter has carved out a unique space for herself in British entertainment.

Judi, 44, is as relatable as she is razor-sharp, and in an exclusive chat with OK!, she opens up about life behind the Loose Women desk, the “sisterhood” that keeps it all together and the truth behind those ‘feud’ rumours. Insisting she “gets on with everyone”, she tells us, “We’ve built genuine friendships.”

The star says the show’s All-Black panel was one of her highlights(Image: PR HANDOUT)

But she does concede that the nature of the show coupled with the strong personalities on the panel means the odd clash isn’t unheard of. “Of course we all have different opinions, that’s the beauty of it. But everything is always done with respect,” she says firmly. “A different opinion doesn’t mean an argument. It’s a conversation.”

In recent weeks, whispers of tension behind the scenes have made headlines. Most notably, newcomer Olivia Attwood Dack – known for her appearance on Love Island and her no-nonsense persona – is reported to have ruffled feathers by bringing her own glam team on set.

But Judi isn’t here for the drama. “Do people ask the same thing when it’s Loose Men?” she quips. “Us girls are good. If you’ve got your own make-up team, it’s not a bad reflection of the team in-house – it’s just someone else is used to your face. That should be looked at as a positive and how inclusive the show and the team are to make sure people are comfortable.”

Judi’s own approach to pre-show prep is more low-key, not that she feels any less glam. “We slay all the time!” she says. “I get my make-up done, I walk out and I’m slaying. Period!”

A single mother-of-two and former social worker, Judi’s journey has been anything but conventional. She made her comedy debut in 2011 with a hilariously honest routine about caring for her late mother.

Since then, she’s graced stages up and down the country with her bold, observational style. Her break-out moment came in 2020 when she joined Loose Women as part of the show’s first ever all-Black panel – a moment Judi recalls with deep pride. “It was so powerful to be part of something that hadn’t been done before,” she says. “Now, five years on, I’m still here – that says it all, doesn’t it?”

Judi says her closest bonds are with co-stars Nadia Sawalha, Charlene White, Kaye Adams, Brenda Edwards and Jane Moore – women she regularly catches up with outside the studio, too.

Reflecting on growing up in Hackney, Judi says there was always laughter and love

Describing her time on Loose Women as nothing short of “fantastic”, she credits its diversity and the meaningful conversations at its core. “It’s always fun, always lively. The topics are wide-ranging. It’s a space where I can be myself – not just as a comedian, but as a woman, a mother and a voice for the community,” she explains.

Throughout her time there, Judi has been involved in a number of campaigns, including Facing It Together, which marked the show’s 25th anniversary and shone a light on domestic abuse. “It’s so important that women like us, who are visible and vocal, speak out on issues that matter,” she says. “No one should feel ashamed or alone.”

Her most memorable moment? “Definitely the all-Black panel. That will always be iconic,” she says. “But raising money for charity and connecting with the audience in real time for 25 hours was unforgettable, too. It’s about support and using our platform for good.”

Away from the glitz of the TV studio, Judi is a doting mum and fiercely proud single parent. “My kids are the ones who keep me grounded,” she says. “I could be off interviewing a Hollywood star but the moment I step through the door it’s, ‘Mum, what’s for dinner?’ It’s beautiful – I love it.”

Balancing her busy career with motherhood isn’t always easy, but Judi approaches it with her signature warmth and wisdom. “I try to do it with love and grace,” she tells us. “There’s a lot of parent guilt, especially as a single mum, but I remind myself I’m setting an example. My children are growing up seeing powerful women all around them. That’s a gift.”

    Judi Love on Loose Women

Judi’s fans love her funny, straight-talking approach to a debate(Image: ITV)

Judi is keenly aware of the challenges young people face in today’s world, particularly with social media. “You have to have the conversations,” she says. “Whether it’s with your own kids, nieces or nephews – we need to be aware of the pressures they’re under and offer support.”

Born and raised in Hackney, Judi credits her upbringing for her values, humour and resilience. “There was always laughter, always love,” she says. “I grew up in the 80s – it was a community. It was simple, and that definitely grounded me.”

That sense of community is something she’s found again on Loose Women, especially with the launch of the show’s brand new podcast. “The podcast has been a great addition,” she says. “It gives us a chance to delve deeper. We get questions from the audience and we talk in a more intimate setting. It’s like inviting the viewers into our group chat.”

With guests like Gloria Hunniford and more exciting topics on the horizon, the Loose Women podcast is already creating a buzz among fans. “We always say the viewers are our fifth panellist, and this is our way of giving them more of us,” Judi explains.

When asked what she wishes more people understood about being a Black woman in entertainment, Judi answers candidly, “That we still have to ask that question, that says it all, doesn’t it? Everyone wants to be seen, represented and treated equally.”

And while she recognises that the industry has made strides, she’s also clear that there’s still a lot of work to be done. “We live in a society where being different can still be an issue – whether it’s your race, your size, your age. But finding allyship, building connections, that’s what makes the real difference.”

Katie Price and her best friend Kerry Katona have been travelling up and down the country spilling all on their lives in the public eye, but some fans have become concerned about the stars. The former glamour model, 47, and Kerry, 45, have faced hiccups on their tour so far, with the Atomic Kitten star even walking off stage.

Katie, who has been declared bankrupt twice, was over two hours late to one show, with Kerry facing the audience solo. An Evening with Katie Price & Kerry Katona has even seen police called over rowdy fans who were ordered to leave and Katie was “booted” out of her hotel during another stop off.

Their latest show saw them stop off in Harpenden, but Katie and Kerry kept fans waiting as they were 15 minutes late. Katie’s two children Princess and Junior were also in attendance with Kerry’s daughter Heidi.

Some fans have become concerned over Katie’s changing looks. “She hid behind a cushion, vaping with stress because her children were there which meant she couldn’t host the show properly,” a source told the Sun.

“Katie looked and acted bored and uninterested the whole way through.” They added that they are “genuinely worried” about her. Smoking and vaping is not permitted in the venue.

They said Kerry “carried the show” with “crass humour and swearing”. Katie and Kerry have faced claims of poor ticket sales, but their representative denied the accusations to the Mirror and said “nobody has demanded a refund”.

Last month, Kerry walked off stage after suffering a “horrendous” panic attack. She left fans confused when she left the stage during the show in Shrewsbury, and later took to social media to explain the situation. She said: “Last night on stage, I had a horrid, horrid, severe panic attack.

“Full-on blown panic attack. I was so embarrassed. I was sat there and the topic was our childhood and, I don’t know where it came from but I was sat there and everything just went dead quiet.

“I was looking at Kate and Matt the host, and everything went really fuzzy, my heart was going so fast, I thought I’m gonna cry, I’m gonna faint.”

Kerry added: “I thought, ‘I’ve gotta get off the stage’. I had to stand up and walk off stage, and I think everyone thought I had got up and walked off because I got a bit too emotional, but that wasn’t the case.”

When the pair headed to Whitley Bay, the start time was forced to be pushed back and with so much time passing by, Kerry decided to step on stage without Katie. They were due on stage at 7:30pm but was pushed back to 8pm due to “technical difficulties”.

But as the show started, Katie was in a car on the way to the venue as she appeared on a big screen. The mum-of-five told the awaiting crowd they could expect her at 9:18pm that evening, but she ended up being 20 minutes later.

The Loose Women star and ITV News presenter revealed that she got into a disagreement with American Airlines staff when recently flying with her two children, Alfie and Florence

Loose Women panellist Charlene White revealed she refused to get on a flight if she was separated from her children, telling airline crew they would be breaking the law by doing so.

Charlene, 44, told the American Airlines staff that it was “illegal” for her to sit away from her children when flying, saying: “Don’t mess with me.” The ITV star, who shares children Alfie, seven, and Florence, five, with partner Andy Woodfield, said she wouldn’t get on the flight until staff sorted it out.

Chatting with comedian Alan Carr on his Life’s A Beach podcast, she told him: “I’ve got no problem with complaining about stuff. I almost refused to get an American Airlines flight two months ago because they split me up from my kids, which is illegal.

“So then I reminded them of aviation law and said to them they sort it out or I’m not getting on the flight and they will have to put me on the next flight with my children. Don’t mess with me. You’re not allowed to be split up from your children because if something happens.”

She explained that she would need to help them with their breathing equipment and life jacket, should the worst happen.

Charlene added: “If there’s an accident and the thing comes down, you can’t necessarily trust a stranger to do that for you so legally you have to sit with your children. And they were trying to tell me that’s not true, and I said ‘I think you’ll find it is’.”

According to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), although it’s not illegal to separate children and parents, as well as any other vulnerable person, it does go against the organisation’s guidelines. This is because it can impede evacuation efforts as parents will be trying to get to their children.

The CAA’s website reads: “Young children and infants who are accompanied by adults should ideally be seated in the same seat row as the adult. Where this is not possible, children should be separated by no more than one seat row from accompanying adults. This is because the speed of an emergency evacuation may be affected by adults trying to reach their children.”

Meanwhile, American Airlines states they will “assign seats a few days after you buy your tickets so children under 15 are next to at least one adult” they’re travelling with.

In contrast to Charlene, presenter Kirstie Allsopp previously told The Sun that she often buys seats away from a children, in a different area of the plane, admitting her and her partner sometimes fly business class, while her kids sit in economy.

She pointed out that she doesn’t want to ‘spoil’ her kids, adding that the money she saves means her family can “take a shed load of holidays”.

Kirstie said: “Club class should be huge treat that you’ve worked for. If kids get used to Club class what do they have to work towards?”
