Katie Price reveals real reason for Peter Andre split and makes jaw-dropping claim

Katie Price revealed the real reason for the demise of her relationship with Peter Andre. The duo fell head over heels for each other on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004 and viewers watched as the duo flirted, wrestled and fall in love with one another. After leaving the jungle, the two were inseparable and secretly got engaged in May of the same year.

They tied the knot in September 2005 and welcomed Junior and Princess Andre. Their whirlwind romance soon fell apart and they divorced in 2009. In a new chat with Paul Brunson for his podcast, We Need To Talk, Katie revealed the real reason their relationship came to a shock end.

Peter believed she had an affair with her dressage rider

According to the Mucky Mansion star, Peter believed she had an affair with her dressage rider. She shut down the claims and told Celebs Go Dating expert Paul: “I’ve never slept with him.

“I just kept my horse there, and I was happy keeping my horse there, and he was married. But when me and Pete split, because he used to keep saying, that’s it. I’ve had enough. I’ve had enough. It got to a point where I went well f**king divorce me. And I remember the day, because then I flew to the Maldives with the kids.

“That day, I’m at the airport, it’s all on Sky News, it wasn’t mutual at all. And then I redone a statement saying I don’t want to split with Pete, it’s Pete that’s splitting with me. Until this day, me and Pete have never sat down and spoken about it.”

At the time of their split, Peter claimed he was “absolutely gutted” after Katie took their kids back to the Maldives villa where they’d spent their 2005 honeymoon.

“Being apart from my kids is just breaking my heart,” he cried to the Daily Star at the time. “It’s destroying me – I’m absolutely gutted.”

And while speaking to Paul, former glamour model Katie revealed they manage the kids via lawyers. “I’ve never sat down with him, we probably would’ve sorted it out but we were kept apart,” she explained.

Katie said it’s ‘the most difficult thing’ to co-parent as she added: “But I realised you get to know what people are really like, and I’ve had it tough. But yeah, it is sad.”

Before the break-up, both parties confessed to having jealous rows, making no secret of their marital bickering on their reality TV show. However, few fans were convinced it was enough to derail them.

Meanwhile, Katie has previously admitted that the separation hadn’t been her choice. “Pete is the love of my life and my life. We have children together, and I am devastated and disappointed by his decision to separate and divorce me as I married him for life,” Katie told The Mirror at the time.

“This is not what I want, and the decision has been taken out of my hands. I will not comment further or do any interviews regarding the separation, but I will always love my Pete.”

Brooklyn Beckham passionately kisses Nicola Peltz as he makes clear stand despite family feud

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, who are locked in a bitter feud with Brooklyn’s parents and siblings, were loved-up as they attended a glitzy party for Airbnb

Brooklyn Beckham passionately kissed his actress wife, Nicola Peltz, as they put on a united front at a party amid their reported family feud. The duo, who matched in all-black outfits as they attended an AirBnb party this week, looked hopelessly in love as they embraced and kissed while posing for many photos.

“Big thanks to @airbnb for having me at their Summer Release,” Nicola captioned her post for her 3.1million followers. “They’re rolling out some amazing new experiences and you can book mine on May 15th! We’ll be mixing cocktails, plating perfection, and experiencing the heat of my @cloud23 hot sauce.”

She shared a slew of loving snaps, including one of her sitting on Brooklyn’s lap as he wrapped his hands around her waist. There was also a picture of aspiring chef Brooklyn planting a kiss on her forehead as she beamed for the camera.

Brooklyn also took to his Instagram page to share a carousel of similar photos as he used the caption to promote Airbnb.

Nicola Peltz joins The Beckhams for Christmas festivities

The former aspiring photographer, 26, and billionaire heiress Nicola, 30, have kept their distance from the Beckham clan both online and in the real world over recent works, with the pair even snubbing David Beckham’s 50th birthday earlier this month.

The family issues with Brooklyn and Nicola reportedly started from Romeo Beckham, 22, finding love with Kim Turnbull, 24, who is thought to be one of Brooklyn’s exes. Things got so bad in the family that Brooklyn had been ignoring his parents attempts to chat.

It comes after the married couple, who are locked in a bitter feud with Brooklyn’s parents and siblings, recently enjoyed a star-studded night out with Nicola’s brother and pals.

Amid the family rift, David seemingly tried to make things better by reaching out as he shared a united post on American Mother’s Day – which is almost two months after the annual holiday was observed in the UK.

Despite being British, David took advantage of the symbolic day to post a photo of wife Victoria with all four of their offspring.

The iconic footballer posted a throwback snap of his wife Victoria, cradling their daughter Harper Seven as a baby on her chest, sided by their sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz hugging the singer-turned-fashion designer.

With the sweet photo, he penned: “Happy Mother’s Day to the best mommy. To all our friends in the U.S. Happy Mother’s Day.”

Intriguingly, he made it a point to tag his sons, including Brooklyn. Fans are speculating whether this could be the footballer’s way of reaching out to his son through the Mother’s Day tribute.

Former Loose Woman Andrea McLean has opened up about how she was 24 hours from death after battling pneumonia and sepsis. The 55-year-old feels she has a second chance at life and that if she hadn’t made it to hospital, she would not have made it.

And the mum-of-two believes her ordeal last Christmas has made her “re-evaluate my entire life”. She said: “I didn’t realise how severe my illness was at the time. But the doctors had told my husband, Nick, that had I not got to hospital when I did, had we waited another 24 hours to call for help, I may not be here now.”

The drama began on the day after Boxing Day and came after a bad bout of flu that had “just not gone away.” She says: “I got up to go to the bathroom and just fell to the floor. By the time the paramedics arrived they said my blood pressure was so low they had to stabilise me before moving me.

“Our bedroom is in the loft and they couldn’t get the stretcher around the tight bend, but eventually I managed to slide down the stairs, and was rushed to hospital. What happened over the next few weeks changed my life forever.” Andrea said that she had been feeling unwell in the 18 months leading up to last Christmas

    Andrea McLean

She says: “I’ve had Covid three times and suffered long covid which left me perpetually exhausted and with an underlying weakness so I seemed to pick every little bug up. I haven’t felt quite right for a very long time, so when my husband and daughter contracted that nasty flu going around in December, I of course caught it too.

“But it lingered with me. I just couldn’t shift it, and it all came to a head the morning I fell to the floor. My blood pressure was 60/40 – it is still very low now – and I think my body just gave up.” She says she was in and out of hospital throughout January but it was a “blur”.

Andrea adds: “It was only a few weeks after I got home that I realised the magnitude of what had happened – that if I hadn’t gone into hospital that day, I may not be here now.”Earlier this month, she paid A&E another visit after collapsing from getting out of bed ‘too fast’. And Andrea says: “I am still not back to full strength, and my blood pressure is still very low. I recently had another fall – again the result of getting up too quickly. Unfortunately, this time I fell flat on my face and ended up sporting a bruiser of a black eye.”

She says the biggest learning from the experience has been reassessing her outlook on life She adds: “There are rarely second chances in this life, so as I began to regain my strength I knew I had to seize the day and focus on what I really want to do.

:I very nearly died.” Andrea said she needed to listen to her body more .”That scary, horrible moment was a turning point, it has led to now and I am feeling really positive about where I am going.”

Denise Welch has revealed that her colleagues on Loose Women begged her to make a change after she was pictured in “embarrassing” paparazzi photos.

On an episode of Loose Women: The Podcast, the actress, who is about to mark 13 years of sobriety, spoke candidly about a certain habit she used to indulge in during her partying days.

In a frank confession about what she described as a “medical issue”, Denise admitted that she found it “hilarious” at the time. However, she acknowledged that she was “usually the only person in the world ” who was laughing.

As a result, Denise ended up in “embarrassing” paparazzi shots, prompting her Loose Women colleagues to offer her some advice for one “terrible” reason.

Denise explained: “I always had what I considered to be a medical issue, which I named ‘compulsive flashing disorder’, that when I was out on a night out, I, usually the only person in the world, thought it was hilarious to flash my boobs.”

“And there are many pap shots, embarrassing now, of me flashing my bra, and the girls here at Loose Women used to say, ‘Denzy, because of your compulsive flashing disorder, would you please just invest in some good underwear because it was always really terrible.”

The ex-Coronation Street star went on to say that her bras were typically “grey, beige,” and while she sees herself as someone who wears Agent Provocateur lingerie, she’s “sadly” not, in reality.

Denise, who reportedly started drinking after suffering from clinical depression, has been open about her battle with alcohol in the past, revealing last year that she almost broke her sobriety due to a health incident.

    Denise Welch

Speaking to the ADHD Chatter podcast, she explained that she’d taken tablets for ADHD, expecting to feel more focused, but the expectations didn’t match the reality, reports the Mirror.

Describing her experience, she explained: “So, I thought I’m going to take this tablet and by the time I leave our London apartment, I’m going to have vacuumed everywhere and I’m going to have thought, right, for once I really want to settle down to that bulk of affairs that I’ve ignored since I was 18-years-old.”

Denise further admitted the unfortunate aftermath: “An hour later I wanted a drink and a cigarette for the first time in 11 years and it was horrendous how it affected me. Had I not been so many years into (it) and so secure managing my sobriety it would have been a very, very dangerous tipping point for me.”

Separately, the Soldier Soldier star shared her thoughts with Heat magazine regarding Loose Women’s new competitor ‘Vanessa’, the Channel 5 show led by ex-This Morning host Vanessa Feltz.

Denise extended her best wishes to Vanessa, albeit confessing that she hadn’t yet watched the show.

Louis Tomlinson has reportedly flown Zara McDermott 5,000 miles to a holiday hotspot, where the pair are said to be enjoying a romantic holiday amid their busy schedule

Zara McDermott is off on a romantic holiday, thanks to her new boyfriend, One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson. It is claimed that Zara has flown off for a romantic getaway with her new beau. Insiders revealed that One Direction star Louis splashed out thousands of pounds to fly Zara 5,000 miles to join him while he’s working on his upcoming album.

It would mark Louis’ first record since his 2022 album, Faith In The Future, which landed at Number One on the Official Charts Company. They are believed to be staying in a secluded villa on the coast in Santa Teresa.

A source shared: “Louis and Zara are going from strength to strength.” He had his team arrange her first-class travel from London to Costa Rica over the weekend. This meant Zara couldn’t attend the TV BAFTAS, but she is eager to spend as much time with Louis as possible.

A source told The Sun: “He’s been in Costa Rica for a few weeks recording his album and is keen to show her the sights.” In a few weeks, Louis will return to the UK for Soccer Aid, participating in the annual charity match at Old Trafford.

However, insiders said Zara won’t be heading to the stadium to cheer him on. It’s not surprising, considering her ex, Sam Thompson, will also be playing. A friend shared: “It will be awkward enough for Louis and Sam, let alone if Zara went. She has no desire to make things about herself and won’t be attending. She will be cheering Louis on from home.”

It was first revealed that the unlikely pair were an item in March, after a series of low-key dates in the UK. Last month, Zara flew out to join Louis in Malibu before the pair returned to the UK. They proved they were just like any other couple when seen shopping in his local Sainsbury’s.

This comes after Sam recently broke his silence about his Zara dating Louis. The former I’m a Celebrity winner is set to play on the same Soccer Aid team as the singer next month in aid of UNICEF. And Sam, who today launched a 260-mile endurance challenge for the charity, told the Mirror how he’d heard that Louis was a “great bloke.”

    Sam and Zara

He said: “I’ve never met Louis, but the moment I see him, I’ll be like, ‘mate, how amazing is this what we’re doing, and hopefully we can make as much money as possible’. And I imagine – from what I hear, is a really lovely bloke – I imagine the reply will be exactly the same.”

Sam, who split from Zara four months ago and is now dating Samie Elishi, added: “It’s a charity football game and everyone will have a smile on their face….everybody is doing it for a cause that is far beyond relationships and who’s hooking up with who and all that kind of stuff. Football brings everyone together.”

Things are heating up for Sam, too, as the former Made in Chelsea star was photographed enjoying a passionate kiss with Samie Elishi, another Love Island alumnus. It’s believed to be Sam’s first public romance since his shock split from Zara earlier this year – and a source tells us his ex is actually happy with the new development. “Even though Sam and Zara’s relationship ended a long time before they officially split up, Sam did feel a bit like he had egg on his face,” an exclusive source tells OK!.“He knew it had been over for a while, but of course seeing his ex move on with a member of one of the world’s most successful boy bands ever is a little bit different to the norm. She’s hit the jackpot!”, they add. “Zara understandably doesn’t want to be seen as the villain, and it’s not easy when you’re the first to move into a new relationship. If this news stops people thinking of Sam as a victim, especially after she cheated on him when they were together, she’s happy.”

Donate to Sam’s Match Ball Mission for Soccer Aid for UNICEF now, by visiting socceraid.org.uk/challenge This year, thanks to the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, every donation you make to Soccer Aid for UNICEF will be doubled – up to £5 million.

Richard Madeley has been leaving fans in awe over his youthful looks over the years as he continues defying the ageing process. The Good Morning Britain presenter is celebrating his 69th birthday on Tuesday (May 13), and it seems like time isn’t catching up to the star anytime soon.

The TV presenter found fame alongside his wife Judy Finnigan on ITV’s This Morning in 1988, where he hosted until 2001. He and his wife also hosted Richard & Judy between 2001 and 2008. Since 2017, he’s been hosting ITV’s Good Morning Britain. The star has been on our screens for decades and retained his youthful look the entire time.

Last year, Richard spoke candidly about getting older, and shared the reason why he thinks he’s managed to stay looking youthful on-screen.

He spoke about defying ageing on the White Wine Question Time podcast with Kate Thornton. Chatting about his hair, Richard revealed he had light hair as a child before it went darker, but over the past “20 years” he’s gone grey.

“I’ve been accused of actually dying my hair lighter, which I always happily and honestly refute. I don’t. It’s funny, again, I’ve kind of come full circle!” he said.

    Richard Madeley on GMB
He previously credited on-screen makeup and genes for his youthful appearance(Image: ITV)

He said his lighter locks were usually from holidaying in the south of France, where he owns a “little place”. The TV star claimed the “sun lightens” his hair, so when he returns to GMB, viewers always question whether he’s had highlights added to his hair.

Kate noted that the TV star could “pass for a man much younger” than his age, but he believes he seems youthful due to having aged on camera in front of millions.

He told her: “Don’t you think that’s because I’ve not actually ever been off…. So you know, I’m ageing slowly on camera because I haven’t been away for like five years or 10 years.” Richard went on to add he watches his weight as he gets older, adding that it’s “important” to keep an eye on the scales as “you get into middle age”.

When he appeared on Loose Men a few years ago, there was an overwhelming reaction to his appearance on the show, which saw him discuss turning 65. In a chat from 2021, Richard credited his appearance to the make-up he wears for TV as well as his good genes. The star said: “To begin with, when you’re on television as a man, you’re allowed to wear make-up.

“Make-up will cover a multitude of sins, so that’s the first thing to say. There’s a difference between the way most people look on telly, presenters that is, who have spent 10 minutes in make-up, and the way they look when they get up out of bed in the morning.”

He then credited his mother, Mary, for his youthful appearance, claiming people always thought she was younger than she was, even before she died.

He added to Daily Express: “Secondly, I think that, I’ve said that my mother died when she was in her early 80s and she did, but until her last few months on the planet, my mum looked much younger than she was.”

The star has been recovering after having her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed in a “purely preventative” surgery, leaving her followers sending their good wishes.

According to the NHS, the bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (BSO) operation is a common surgery that takes 40-60 minutes. It can help women with ovarian cysts in the perimenopausal age group manage pain or prevent the onset of ovarian cancer. Almost two weeks after her surgery, Lorraine took to Instagram to confirm her return to work.

Earlier this month, Lorraine took to her social media to a personal update with fans. She told followers: “Just wanted to let you know I’m having a wee procedure today. I’ve not been feeling all that well for a little while, so I had some scans and tests, and I have to have my ovaries and my tubes taken out.

“It’s purely preventative. It’s going to be with keyhole surgery, which is incredible. I’m being very well looked after, and I’ll obviously see you really soon, and I’m gonna be totally fine.”

In the caption, she wrote: “Getting keyhole surgery – all preventative – feel very lucky to be treated so well – thank you Dr Raafat and all the staff!”

After a few days, the star told fans she was “recovering well,” as she celebrated a huge milestone for her ITV show.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, the star penned: “Thanx for all your lovely messages I’m recovering well. So proud of my top team – punching above our weight and bucking the trend. Just heard our ratings are up – we had the highest March for four years. Thanks @vixkennedy and the gang! Always know how to cheer me up.”

Editor of Lorraine’s ITV show, Victoria Kennedy responded: “We miss you and can’t wait to have you back with us soon.”

As she embarks on her latest epic travel show, Joanna Lumley insists that everyone should live life to the full and explore the world. The 79-year-old, who is back on ITV next week with a rip-roaring journey down the Danube, says: “I’d love people to realise the world is marvellous. You’ve only got one life, you must live it to the full. Get up before dawn and go somewhere odd. Go on a local bus, don’t just lie by the pool.”

Having cemented her status as an iconic travel presenter, the actress has travelled far and wide but reveals she can’t decide on a favourite place as every new place beats the last. She says: “I feel like rather an unfaithful flirt because I think somewhere is extraordinary, then I go somewhere else and think that’s the best.”

In Joanna Lumley’s Danube, she follows the most international river in the world across the heart of Europe, tracking the river from its origins beneath the pines of Germany’s Black Forest all the way to the Black Sea. On the way, she encounters Bavaria’s beer-brewing nuns, Slovakia’s stunning snow-capped peaks, Hungary’s Great Plain and its distinctive cowboys, the majesty of Vienna and Budapest, the raw beauty of Transylvania and the unique wilderness that is the Danube Delta.

She also meets the Vienna Boys Choir, Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst and visits a Granny Cafe, set up to help combat loneliness for the elderly. As Joanna chats to Marianne, who runs the cafe, she says: “It touches my heart this, I love it. Because I’m an Oma, a granny, and it makes sense. We are the same age, we are old but we are not finished, we’ve got much to do, we’ve got love to give, skills. This is one of the loveliest places I’ve ever visited, because it’s people being looked after by grannies…I think we should have more of these around the world.”

Joanna adds: “The Lederhosen dancers, a group of middle-aged gay men, were quite out of this world, doing this heroic dancing. I met a coven of witches who were also Romani travellers. They summon up and make peace with and banish bad things, put light into the shadows. They did this great ceremony with masses of candles, the camera boys nearly died from the heat.”

“And I can’t forget the brewing nuns, making beer which they sold. When I asked the sister if she thought God would approve of alcohol, she said ‘I think God wants us to be happy and alcohol makes us happy’. That was the sweetest answer I’ve ever heard.”

Joanna says we must 'live life to the full'

Joanna adds: “I was pretty thick about the Danube – I didn’t realise that it’s Europe’s longest and most important river. I did so much thinking and reflecting on how we neglect geography at our peril. Mountains and lakes and rivers like this have defined our history and which country we belong to and where the borders end.”

She adds: “This is the river that has carried goods and people up and down it. It’s had wars fought over it. It’s created boundaries. And to be here, at the beginning of its journey, it’s just completely dazzling.”

“Everything about this particular trip was eye-opening. It was terribly touching, very funny and very extreme. You could think, ‘Oh it’s just Europe,’ but it was extraordinary. Sometimes it’s easy to think you know Europe, because it is near, but we might know, say, The Tower of Pisa, The Eiffel Tower, Berlin, Spain, but we don’t really, really know everywhere: and as for Eastern Europe, it was thrilling. I thought every part of it was just magic. So I was on tenterhooks from the very start and the series really shows a cross-section of incredible things.”

*Joanna Lumley’s Danube airs Friday 23rd May on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm.

Piers Morgan’s wife Celia Walden slams ‘cringeworthy’ Virgin Island over controversial twist

Lorraine contributor Celia Walden, who is married to Piers Morgan, has revealed that she found Virgin Island ‘too cringeworthy to watch’ in her scathing review of the show

Presenter and broadcaster Celia Walden has given her honest review of Channel 4’s controversial new show Virgin Island, revealing that she found it to be the “most uncomfortable” watch.

Speaking to Lorraine’s Christine Lampard, Celia – who is married to journalist Piers Morgan – said about the show: “You can actually feel your shoulders hunching. It’s a real through-parted-fingers job because they have these sex surrogates who are basically the teachers, like a sex coach, who as far as I can tell…it’s the opposite of conventional therapy.

“They’re allowed to go all the way. I don’t know how far the show is going to go but they will teach you to become comfortable with your body and start touching you. I found it just too cringeworthy to watch.”

    Celia
Ceila ‘slammed’ Channel 4 Show Virgin Island on Lorraine
However, entertainment reporter Tyler West was much more positive of the show and the contestants, saying it takes courage to put themselves out there on TV.

Speaking about the Gen-Z contestants, Celia explained how they were the least sexually active generation in history due to technology and other factors. Continuing, Celia questioned: “When does it tip over the edge of being exploitative?”

Joking about the premise of the show, which sees the use of a surrogate partner – a professional who can be physically intimate with their client if they are ready to do so, Tyler said: “I can’t imagine sitting there and your therapist just starts kissing your neck. I just don’t think that’s going to fix the situation!” as the studio burst into laughter.

Last night, viewers were left baffled by the first episode of the Channel 4 show with eye-popping scenes moments into the series – which aired just after watershed.

Their controversial new show follows twelve adult virgins as they take on a bespoke intimacy course that’s designed to help them overcome their fears around sex.

However, viewers were taken aback by the “raunchy” scenes just moments after watershed, as they took to X, formerly known as Twitter to share their shock. “What the hell is this?” Another added: “What. The. Actual. F**k.?!?!” Someone else commented: “Didn’t think tv would get any lower, then pops along.”

“This is so exploitative. I’m panicking myself and I’m watching it at home!! I can’t even imagine being one of them right now. This is awful,” wrote another, seemingly agreeing with Celia’s comments.

Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer have opened up about working together for a quarter of a century and their fears over being replaced by artificial intelligence

They are one of TV’s most brilliant, bickering odd couples but as 25 years of Location, Location, Location attests, Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer are right at home in each other’s company.

In a quarter of a century, the dynamic duo have conducted 469 searches involving 1,810 home viewings and helped buyers secure property worth more than £176million. And as they cast a nostalgic eye over their time together on the much-loved Channel 4 show, Phil quips: “Twenty-five years? You’d get less for murder!”

It is an apt way to start a documentary special to mark the milestone, especially given some of his joking mistreatment at the hands of “particularly fiery” Kirstie. But he adds: “Little did I know we would go on to become long-term colleagues and lifelong friends.”

There have been many funny on-screen moments between the pair over the years, including Kirstie wondering: “Have you ever been bitten by a horse, Phil?” and also, “Do you think anyone thinks we’re spies?”

But now their biggest worry comes from not being needed any more. “There are chatbots helping people decide where to live. Well, we were going to be replaced one day,” Kirstie says. “I thought it would be a younger, thinner me but clearly it’s AI.”

The show, originally given a working title of The Great House Hunt, launched in 2000 alongside Big Brother during a golden period for Channel 4. The name was changed after a slip of the tongue from Kirstie during a recording meant she used an errant “C” that turned the air blue and almost ended her fledgling TV career before it had even begun.

“I was mortified,” she says. “I almost said, ‘This is proof telly is not for me’.” The pair admit that, at the start, they were not too hot on the presenting side of things, but they had plenty of time for making some improvements.

Phil laughs: “We were good at house hunting but we were pretty terrible at pieces to camera.” Back at the beginning, many of the offers they were making to estate agents were rung through from a red phone box. There were no smartphones or property portals, and agents were only just getting into websites.

“You had to search physically to see a property,” Kirstie recalls. By 2004, the programme’s popularity had surged along with the house prices, with the average home costing £140,000, a rise of 80% in just four years. When the financial crisis came in 2007, former head boy Phil, 55, admits he thought they were done for. “I remember worrying people wouldn’t want to watch property programmes any more. But in actual fact, people needed advice.”

Kirstie, 53, says their long-running role on the series has been an “absolute privilege”. She and Phil agree that while they have helped others pursue their homeowner dreams, the many couples and families they have met along the way have had a huge impact on them.

“They’ve changed our lives, too,” Kirstie says. They also agree that, over the years, they have been through a lot together. Not least in 2023 when, tragically, Phil lost both his parents in a freak driving accident at their Kent home.

Each of them has got married – Phil in 2001 to Australian girlfriend of six years Fiona, with whom he has two children, and Kirstie to property tycoon Ben Anderson in January, after spending more than two decades together.

She and Ben have two sons, plus she became stepmother to his two older boys, and all four were ushers at their recent wedding. Phil and Fiona met at the famous London nightclub Ministry of Sound in 1995, with Phil once admitting: “It is not the place where you usually meet your one true love.”

Both the presenters have also moved house several times. While Phil and Kirstie do not socialise, claiming it would be too much when they spend so much time together for work, it is clear they have a deep and genuine affection for each other, with Phil saying last week: “I put Kirstie among the most important people in my life.”

Luckily, she feels the same. “We’ll never be apart. I can’t imagine a time when he and I go more than a month without seeing each other.” As they wander down memory lane, they also ponder what their real legacy is.

Kirstie says: “Are we in a situation where a lot of people think the best way to make an offer on a house is in a pub? Is that what we’ve achieved?” As they toast the “next 25 years together”, Phil declares: “I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
