Loose Women’s Linda Robson reveals kids are worried as she awaits test results after scan

Linda Robson has revealed her children are worried about her as she waits to receive test results after undergoing scans on her pancreas

Linda Robson fears she will have to have her pancreas removed in a heartbreaking health admission.

The Loose Women star opened up on her health scare to Ruth Langsford, Brenda Edwards and Janet Street-Porter on Tuesday. The Birds of a Feather star shared her health woes as the panel discussed how illness can affect your family following Kate Middleton’s brave video announcing she has completed cancer treatment.

Linda shares her son Louis and daughter Roberta with ex-husband Mark Dunford and has an older daughter, Lauren, from a previous relationship. She said: “I have had a bit of health scare – quite a few years ago I had gall stones and they damaged my pancreas and they’ve been keeping an eye on me for a while now.” Linda explained she had undergone scans in recent weeks and is expected to receive the results of her latest scan next week.

She continued: “I had a cyst on my pancreas and it went from one to two cm so the kids have been really worried about me,” before adding that she’s waiting to find out whether the cyst has grown in size. A shocked Ruth remarked: “This is happening right now to you?”

“Yes,” Linda replied. “If it is [bigger] then they’ll have to remove my pancreas which means I’d then be a diabetic but fingers crossed that won’t happen and the cysts won’t have grown. I feel quite positive about it but the kids are obviously worried about it.”

Ruth asked: “How do you deal with that as a family? Are you talking?” To which Linda replied: “I make jokes about it all the time because I try to diffuse them worrying about me. When I did go to the hospital they came with me and taped everything the doctors said because I would have forgotten everything that they said.”

Earlier this year, Linda revealed her children became her carers during her battle with OCD, alcoholism and depression. She explained: “My children were my carers when I was mentally ill. There was a point when I got so low I couldn’t be left alone. I wasn’t allowed to see my grandchildren until I was better. It was four years ago now and they still say, ‘Mum I’m so glad you are better, we never thought we’d get you back.’”

Recalling the difficult time in her life during a Loose Women episode, Linda explained: “I went through a really tough time, I was depressed and I turned to alcohol and had cleaning OCD. I used to always have a glass of wine or spritzers in the evening, come 10 o’clock at night, but never in the daytime. And then I got put on medication that sent me a bit mad.

“I got put on a certain drug which was supposed to help the depression but it didn’t it just heightened it, so I had to go into three different establishments and it was the worst time in my life, I completely ruined my family’s lives.”

Michael McIntyre’s Big Show viewers were left convinced they had worked out the truth behind the first unexpected star of the new series of the BBC programme

Lorna Brown, 41, from West Lothian was introduced, who had journeyed to London for a weekend break with her husband Scott, their three children and her parents. King Charles Finally Erupts In A Fury That Shatters Meghan Markle’s Sussex Ambitions, Slamming The Palace Door On Her Dreams And Leaving Her In Public Tears… What He Said Behind Closed Doors Has Royals Reeling

The escalating tension between the British royal family and Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, has reached a dramatic new chapter. According to recent reports, King Charles has finally reached his breaking point, resigning from any hope of mending his fractured relationship with his son and daughter-in-law.

King Charles left in tears after Meghan Markle’s horrible decision

Since their high-profile departure from the UK in 2020, the Sussexes have launched repeated attacks on the royal family, airing their grievances in a series of interviews, the Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan, and Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare. These public outbursts have left King Charles “deeply hurt,” according to royal historian Robert Hardman in his latest book, Charles III: New King. New Court. The Inside Story

In his book, Hardman offers an intimate look into the King’s perspective on the ongoing rift. While Charles initially tried to engage with Harry and Meghan and find common ground, he has now reached a point of exasperation. “The King is extremely sad about Harry and Meghan, but there is a sense of resignation,” Hardman writes. “He has done what he can, and now as King, he must focus on his royal duties. He says, ‘I don’t want to know what the problem is. I’m just getting on with my life.’”

This shift in attitude marks a significant change in the King’s approach, with reports indicating that he has now abandoned any further efforts to reconcile with the Sussexes. As the royal family continues to face public scrutiny, the rift between the Windsors and the Sussexes deepens, further fueled by Meghan Markle’s strained relationship with King Charles himself.

King Charles Finally Reach Max BOILING POINT & Sends Meghan SOBBING As He Destroys Her Sussex Dreams - News

Royal expert Angela Levin revealed that Meghan was reportedly “very upset” by the King’s decision to sell his own brand of jam, feeling that it intruded on her territory. However, Levin dismissed this as an overreaction, emphasizing that it’s “not in the King’s nature” to deliberately undermine his daughter-in-law.

The drama continues to unfold, with the King’s resignation from seeking reconciliation marking a pivotal moment in the ongoing saga that has captivated the world. The House of Windsor’s complicated and personal conflict is far from over, and the latest developments suggest that the wounds may be too deep to heal.

“I WON’T LET THEM DESTROY HER!” Prince Harry Has Declared All-Out War On The Explosive ‘Yacht Past’ Rumors Circulating About Meghan Markle — Even As They Are Being Brutally Tied To Prince Andrew. Furious And Shaken, Harry Reportedly Slammed His Fists On The Table And Vowed: “Anyone Who Publishes, Prints, Or Fuels These Vile Lies Will Face Me In Court. I’ll Bankrupt Every One Of Them If I Have To.”

Prince Harry Vows to Sue Anyone Spreading Meghan Markle’s ‘Yacht Past’ Rumors

In a decisive move to combat persistent and damaging rumors, Prince Harry has vowed to take legal action against anyone who continues to propagate unfounded allegations about Meghan Markle’s past. The allegations in question revolve around purported links between Meghan Markle and Prince Andrew, with rumors suggesting that Meghan was involved with Andrew before her relationship with Harry. These rumors have stirred significant media attention and public speculation, leading to Prince Harry’s firm response.

The rumors began circulating following the release of a controversial book and subsequent media reports that speculated on Meghan Markle’s past associations. These allegations suggest that Meghan was linked romantically to Prince Andrew during her earlier years, a claim that has been firmly denied by Meghan and her representatives. The rumors gained traction due to their sensational nature and the high-profile status of those involved, fueling public interest and media scrutiny.

In response to these allegations, Prince Harry has declared his intention to sue any individuals or media outlets continuing to spread these rumors. His legal team has been actively preparing to take action against those responsible for perpetuating these claims, arguing that the rumors are not only false but are also damaging to Meghan’s reputation and the couple’s family life.

Prince Harry has emphasized that there is no truth to the claims that Meghan Markle was ever involved with Prince Andrew. He has stated unequivocally that these rumors are baseless and serve only to undermine Meghan’s character. The Duke of Sussex has expressed his frustration with the ongoing media attention and is determined to address the issue legally to protect his family from further harm.

The announcement of Prince Harry’s legal plans has elicited a range of reactions from the public and media. Supporters of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have praised Harry for his proactive stance against what they perceive as a smear campaign. They argue that the relentless circulation of such rumors constitutes harassment and that Harry’s legal action is a necessary step in defending Meghan’s honor.

On the other hand, critics of the couple have raised questions about the legal implications and the effectiveness of such actions. Some argue that suing media outlets and individuals might draw even more attention to the allegations, potentially leading to further public scrutiny. Nonetheless, Prince Harry’s decision to take legal action underscores his commitment to defending Meghan against what he views as harmful and false accusations.

This situation is part of a larger pattern of challenges faced by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry since their departure from royal duties. The couple has been vocal about their struggles with media intrusion and misinformation, often citing the impact these issues have on their mental health and well-being. Their decision to pursue legal action reflects their broader efforts to control their narrative and combat what they see as unfair treatment.

The legal battle over the ‘yacht past’ rumors is likely to be a high-profile case, with significant media interest and public debate. As the situation develops, it will be crucial to monitor the legal proceedings and the ongoing impact on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s public image.

Prince Harry’s vow to sue those spreading Meghan Markle’s ‘yacht past’ rumors represents a decisive legal and personal strategy to address and combat damaging misinformation. By taking a stand against the false claims, Harry aims to protect Meghan’s reputation and address the broader issues of media intrusion and harassment that have plagued their lives. As the legal actions unfold, the resolution of this case may have significant implications for both the couple’s future and the media landscape surrounding them.

  • Bering Sea’s Ultimate Toll: Cancer Battles, Sudden Deaths, and the Shocking Secret That Ended a Deadliest Catch Career

Bering Sea’s Ultimate Toll: Cancer Battles, Sudden Deaths, and the Shocking Secret That Ended a Deadliest Catch Career

The Unrelenting Tide: A Look at the Legends and Losses of Deadliest Catch
For over 20 seasons, Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch has captured the imagination of millions, showcasing a brutal existence where fortunes are won or lost in the world’s most unforgiving fishery. The Alaskan Sea, a relentless entity of cold and storm, demands courage, skill, and an almost reckless disregard for self-preservation. Yet, the show’s true power lies not just in the high-stakes drama on deck, but in the raw, deeply human struggles of the men and women who brave the Bering Sea.

Now, as the series embarks on its latest chapter, the familiar faces of this long-running hit are grappling with an unrelenting tide of challenges—from life-altering health crises and personal demons finally conquered, to tragic demises and a shocking criminal past that tore one star from the screen forever.

The Captains: Fear, Fighting, and the End of an Era?
The current state of the veteran captains reflects a mix of exhaustion and defiant resilience. After decades of battle, the most celebrated figures are reaching their limit.

Sig Hansen: The Fearful King Contemplating Retirement
Captain Sig Hansen of the Northwestern, the show’s longest-serving and most iconic captain, has always been the picture of unshakeable confidence. Yet, heading into Season 21, the years of loss and pressure have finally taken their toll. In a revealing interview, Hansen admitted he is actively considering early retirement, a complete reversal of his 2024 stance.

His reason is simple, yet devastating: fear.

“I think about it all the time,” Hansen confessed, noting that he is “more fearful every time we go out in water.” What he once saw as challenges, he now views through the lens of age and personal loss. The decision is driven by a deep desire to simply reminisce and spend his twilight years with his wife, June. While he’s renowned for his skill, the show is simultaneously celebrating his youngest daughter, Mandy Hansen, whom Sig calls a “chip off the old block,” who has taken over command of the Northwestern alongside her husband, Clark Peterson. It’s a passing of the torch that seems to confirm the Hansen legacy will continue, even if the legend himself steps away.

“Wild” Bill Wichrowski: A Battle on Two Fronts
Captain “Wild” Bill Wichrowski of the Summer Bay has transformed his fight with the Bering Sea into a public battle for life. Diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2020, Wichrowski bravely allowed cameras to document his treatment through Season 20, which included chemotherapy, hormone treatments, and radioactive seeds.

Wichrowski’s defiance, however, is his therapy. He refused to stop fishing, driven by the goal of giving hope to others struggling with illness. He openly shared the intense side effects of his treatment, which saw his testosterone drop to near zero, but his latest update offered a triumphant note: “I seem to be cancer-free now.” His decision to keep fishing until he physically couldn’t anymore stands as a powerful testament to the sheer stubbornness and heart of a true Bering Sea veteran.

Keith Colburn: Back to the Helm After a Mini-Stroke
The Wizard’s captain, Keith Colburn, delivered one of Season 20’s most alarming moments when he collapsed on deck, losing consciousness. The diagnosis was a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA), or a mini-stroke. Despite the severity of the health scare, Colburn has confirmed his return for Season 21. His comeback guarantees intense viewer focus, as this season may prove to be the “toughest” of his career, leaving the question of his eventual retirement hanging like a fog over the Wizard.

Triumph Over Tragedy: The Fighters Who Came Back
The Bering Sea has always been a refuge for those running from their past, and for a few captains, the harsh life at sea has been the crucible for their redemption.

Jake Anderson: Sober and Building a Dream
Captain Jake Anderson, once defined by tragedy and addiction, is now a powerful symbol of resilience. His life was a torrent of loss—losing his sister, Chelsea Dawn, and his father to mysterious, tragic circumstances—which fueled his intense opioid addiction. Even after relapsing several times, chronicled in his book Relapses, Anderson refused to give up.

Now 44, Anderson is sober, happier, and intensely focused on his family: his wife Jenna and their three children, including his son Luca, who has overcome a serious health condition involving seizures. After the financial setbacks that cost him co-ownership of his former vessel, Saga, Anderson now confidently captains the Titan Explorer, finally building the life of his dreams with a steadfast focus on sobriety and family.

Jack Bunnell: From Rebellion to Respect
Captain Jack Bunnell of the Barbara J also publicly struggled with addiction and rebellion early in his career, which contributed to his being fired for insubordination after a serious injury. His true turning point came when his father suffered a stroke, a jolt that forced him to “clean up and commit fully to fishing.” Bunnell’s subsequent ascent to co-captain is a major victory, earning him a respected place on equal footing with the show’s veterans.

The Unforgiving Sea: A Roll Call of Losses
For all the victories, the show’s legacy is heavily marked by tragedy. The Bering Sea and the lifestyle it enables have claimed numerous cast members, often under heartbreaking circumstances.

    Deaths by Accident and Illness
The danger is constant. The show suffered a profound loss when greenhorn Todd Kochutin, a rising star, died at age 30 in February 2021 after being struck by an 800-pound crab pot while working aboard the Patricia Lee.

Other deaths, though occurring on land, were rooted in the toll of the fisherman’s life. Captain Phil Harris of the Cornelia Marie passed away in 2010 from a brain bleed following a stroke, a health crisis foreshadowed by a prior pulmonary embolism. Deckhand Mick Mavar of the Northwestern, who had sued the boat’s owners over medical issues, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at age 59 in June 2024. Former Maverick Captain Blake Painter, who struggled with substance issues, was found dead in his home, with authorities ruling the cause as natural despite evidence of prescription medication.

    The Shadow of Addiction
The brutal reality of addiction has claimed two notable crew members. Deck boss Nick Mlashen of the Summer Bay, who had previously sought treatment in 2017, tragically passed away from a drug overdose before the winter 2021 season, a loss that deeply impacted Captain “Wild” Bill. Similarly, former deckhand Mahlon Reyes passed away in 2021 at age 38 from acute hard substance intoxication, which was ruled accidental.

    The Unseen Dangers
The deadliest incident came off the short-lived spin-off Dungeon Cove in 2016, where three crew members—John Paulace (31), Danny Matlock (31), and Blaine Steinmets (52)—of the F/V Eagle lost their lives when the vessel sank in a storm. Even beyond the fishing fleet, tragedy struck the production team when associate producer Joe McMahon was shot and killed outside his California home in 2015 at the young age of 24 by a high school friend.

The Shocking Career Ender: Josh Harris’s Criminal Past
While the sea and addiction have taken many lives, one star’s career ended abruptly due to a shocking revelation from his past.

Josh Harris, son of the late Phil Harris and co-owner of the Cornelia Marie, was a fixture on the show until his sudden departure in Season 18. In 2022, Discovery Channel announced that Harris would not appear in future episodes following a report that brought to light his 1998 criminal conviction for assaulting a 4-year-old girl when he was 16 years old.

The network promptly released a statement confirming they were “made aware of this issue” and that Harris was out. The termination of his contract, despite his central role in continuing his father’s legacy, highlights the network’s firm zero-tolerance policy when a decades-old crime is brought to light, resulting in a permanent expulsion from the popular series.

The Rising Generation and New Dynasties
Amid the turmoil, new talent is rising, fueled by the same ambition and legacy that defined the show’s veterans. Mandy Hansen’s command of the Northwestern is the most celebrated example. She is joined by Sophia “Bob” Nielsen, the youngest captain on the show at just 24 years old, who is determined to carry on her family’s fishing legacy after the early death of her father. She has quickly amassed a fan following, demonstrating the show’s ability to find new heroes who embody the relentless spirit of the Bering Sea.

The story of Deadliest Catch is one of generational transition, where the wisdom of the old guard like Sig Hansen meets the raw courage of the new generation. The sea remains the same, but the battles faced by its captains—whether against cancer, addiction, or the ghosts of their past—are more intense than ever.

Swamp Queen’s Secret Life Revealed: Pickle Wheat Breaks Silence on Chase Landry Breakup, New EMT Partner, and Unexpected Motherhood

The Unveiling of the Wild Huntress: Pickle Wheat Breaks Silence on Secret Romance, Heartbreak, and the Joy of Motherhood
The Louisiana bayou has a new queen, and her name is Cheyenne Nicole Wheat, though the world knows her affectionately as Pickle. For years, this iconic wild huntress and breakout star of the History Channel’s Swamp People has enthralled viewers with her exceptional alligator hunting skills, a fierce blend of ancestral tradition and modern grit. Yet, while her prowess in the unforgiving Atchafalaya Basin is undeniable, her personal life remained an intriguing mystery, sparking endless speculation among her devoted fanbase.

Now, at 28, the “Swamp Queen” has finally decided to peel back the curtain, confirming long-held rumors and making astonishing revelations about her love life, a dramatic breakup, and the quiet journey into motherhood. The truth, as it turns out, is far more captivating than the rumors.

From Bayou Roots to Reality TV Stardom
Pickle Wheat’s story is one deeply rooted in the Louisiana soil and the cypress-laden waters of the swamp. Born on September 21, 1995, in Pedrris, Louisiana, her life began away from the bright lights of New Orleans, nestled instead in an unassuming hamlet where family tradition dictated the rhythm of life. Her unique nickname, “Pickle,” was lovingly gifted by her father, a nod to a childhood obsession that perfectly captures her singular charm.

She wasn’t just near the swamp; she was of it. Hailing from a multi-generational bloodline of alligator hunters—a legacy that stretches back to her great-grandfather, one of St. Bernard Parish’s first original hunters—the bayou was her first and most practical classroom. By an age when most children were learning to ride a bike, Pickle was mastering the delicate art of baiting lines, tracking movements in the water, and handling the tools of the hunt. This wasn’t a sport for her; it was the pride of survival and the continuance of a cherished legacy, a philosophy she shares with fierce pride.

Her entry into the limelight in 2021 on the 12th season of Swamp People brought a fresh, electrifying perspective to the show. In a field long dominated by men, her quiet accuracy, thorough knowledge of the marshland, and unwavering dedication instantly made her a force to be reckoned with. She quickly established herself as a fan favorite, not just surviving but thriving in an intense, male-dominated trade that demands as much mental tenacity as physical stamina.

The Romance That Set Social Media Ablaze
As Pickle’s career soared, a more intimate story began to unfold beneath the surface of the swamp. Fans were quick to notice the undeniable chemistry between Pickle and her co-star, Chase Landry, son of the show’s star, “King of the Swamp” Troy Landry. Their bond, visible in their seamless teamwork and shared passion for the perilous hunt, sparked a viral frenzy across social media platforms like Reddit and Instagram.

The speculation that they were romantically involved—a coupling that seemed perfect given their similar backgrounds, shared life in the swamp, and mutual dedication to the hunting tradition—grew louder with every episode. Yet, Pickle remained discreet, intensely guarded about her personal life, which only fueled the public’s curiosity. Every subtle glance and post seemed to hint at a secret, leaving fans playing detective to uncover the truth.

Finally, the truth about the romance was unveiled by Pickle herself: she and Chase Landry were indeed in a private, passionate relationship that began in October 2020 and lasted for two years. Their on-screen connection wasn’t a show for the cameras; it was a genuine bond that continued off-screen.

The Heartbreak and The Secret New Beginning
However, the silence that had once protected their love began to take on a different meaning in 2022. As the rumors intensified, so did the confusion. Was their silence about maintaining privacy, or had something gone wrong? The tension was palpable, and the answer, as it turned out, was heartbreak.

Pickle and Chase’s relationship ended. The seemingly “heaven on earth” romance broke apart, leaving fans worried that their favorite on-screen duo would never work together again. Pickle responded to the breakup with the same resilience she shows in the swamp: she swiftly deleted all pictures of Chase from her social media, changed her Facebook status to “single,” and continued to pursue her career with vibrant energy. She proved that life’s challenges do not weaken one’s resolve, and her focus remained on the path she’d carved out for herself.

But the story didn’t end there. After months of moving on, a new, even more intense rumor sparked: that the gator huntress was not only in a new secret relationship but had also welcomed a child—a baby girl—who, fans speculated, was not Landry’s.

Motherhood Unveiled: A New Chapter with a New Love

The time for secrecy is over. Pickle Wheat, the woman who values her privacy above all else, chose her favorite platform, Instagram, to lay all the cards on the table. She confirmed the full story, taking her fans on an emotional journey from her past love to her present joy.

She revealed that after her split from Chase Landry in 2022, she began a new, quiet, and meaningful romantic relationship with Joshua Kippies, an emergency medical technician (EMT). The couple’s love blossomed away from the scrutiny of the camera, proving that the most profound connections can be the most private ones.

Most significantly, the huntress, who had faced down countless gators, embraced her newest and most challenging role: motherhood. Pickle and Joshua recently welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Mie. The arrival of Mie marks

a significant moment in the life of the reality TV star, adding the nurturing role of a mother to her list of accomplishments. Joshua Kippies, her devoted partner, has expressed his belief that Pickle is the perfect match for him, creating an intriguing and solid family dynamic.

But the happy news doesn’t stop there. Pickle recently made another heartfelt post revealing an even bigger family development: she is pregnant with her second child with Joshua Kippies!

The Quiet End of a Legend: Bob Hart’s Heartbreaking Last Stand in the Alaskan Wild and the Show That Dared to Film Reality
The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska is a place of breathtaking, unforgiving beauty. It’s a vast, frozen cathedral that demands everything from those who dare to call it home. For decades, the families featured on the hit reality series The Last Alaskans have captivated millions with their authentic, off-the-grid existence. They were the last few residents clinging to a vanishing way of life, and their struggles, presented with sensitivity and solitude, became a compelling counter-narrative to the manufactured drama of typical reality television.

However, behind the camera’s patient gaze, the struggle was always raw, deeply personal, and, at times, heartbreaking. No story embodies this bittersweet truth more profoundly than the life and final journey of Bob Hart, a man whose spirit was as rugged and untamed as the wilderness he adored, and whose peaceful passing was a shocking, poetically ironic end to a life lived constantly on the edge of catastrophe.

An Unconventional Reality: The Soul of The Last Alaskans
When The Last Alaskans premiered in 2015, it was an immediate sensation, first on Animal Planet and then finding a long-term home on the Discovery Channel. The show’s success was rooted in its radical departure from the prevailing “Alaska programming” genre. While other shows focused on human-versus-nature bravura—the forced drama of truckers, gold miners, and survival competition—The Last Alaskans sought to simply tell the story.

The network and the production company, Halfyard Productions, took a significant risk by rejecting the Hollywood perception that “drama is forced” and “things are made up.” Executive producer John Colin described the process as a gratifying one where they “didn’t have to twist ourselves into a pretzel to make something that wasn’t there.” Instead, they let the authentic lives of the trappers—Hiemo and Edna Korth, Tyler and Ashley Seldon, Charlie Jagow, and, of course, Bob Hart—breathe. They embraced quiet and isolation, refusing to use voice-over narration or manipulative editing, a move that was, ironically, both expensive and considered a huge creative risk in the reality TV landscape.

This commitment to authenticity is what drew viewers in, allowing them to connect deeply with the profound question that lingered over every episode: Why live like this? The answers, as resident Tyler Seldon once suggested, were complex, describing the lifestyle as a kind of “addiction.” It was a life of ceaseless labor, as Bob Hart himself stated: “Everything’s work… It’s easy to die up here. Everything else is work.” The show was unflinchingly honest about the melancholy that accompanied the bliss of solitude, presenting the brutal reality that wilderness living was just “hard for everyone.”

Bob Hart: The Man Who Cheated Death (Until He Couldn’t)
Born in New Jersey in 1951, Bob Hart’s life trajectory seemed destined for the quiet comfort of the East Coast. But at the age of 21, he abandoned his college education, trading the classroom for the vast, empty canvas of Alaska. He moved north to experience firsthand the wild frontier he had read about, and once there, he settled, making the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge his eternal home, his “country.”

Bob’s personal life was defined by the same rugged independence. He was married to Nancy before moving to Alaska, and while she eventually joined him, the lifestyle took its toll, leading to a divorce. Yet, their bond never truly broke; Nancy remained by his side as a loving caregiver through his final struggles, a testament to the enduring, non-traditional love that can be forged in the fire of the Alaskan wilderness. They shared a daughter, Telicia Hart, who was his absolute treasure. His final, poignant desire was to complete the construction of her home after a 2006 accident left her disabled, ensuring her comfort before his own demise.

To his family and friends, Bob Hart was a legend who possessed an almost superhuman resilience. He survived a litany of accidents that would have claimed a lesser man decades earlier: multiple plane crashes, a motorcycle accident, an accidental self-inflicted gunshot, a fall from a cabin wall, and numerous other near-fatal brushes with disaster. They joked he had nine lives; his obituary counted closer to twenty. He was, in a word, indestructible. Against all odds, he would always get back up, dust himself off, and live “at full throttle.”

The Ultimate Sacrifice: A Peaceful, Poetical End
In 2016, Bob was diagnosed with cancer, forcing him away from the refuge for treatment and causing his absence from the second season of the show. He returned to the screen for Season 4, but his appearance was a heartbreaking departure from the robust trapper viewers had come to know.

The Discovery Channel, in its description for the season, was transparent and deeply respectful: “due to the return of his cancer, Bob must move away from the refuge and into town with his daughter and granddaughter. This season, we will follow Bob’s hard-fought battle to the end and get to say goodbye.”

His final filmed moments were profoundly emotional. Not in his rugged cabin, but in a small trailer in Fairbanks, gaunt and suffering, he looked around and confessed: “It’s hard to leave again. This home reminds me of the woods home. It’s quiet, peaceful, a part of the woods in the middle of Fairbanks and precious, especially to me.” He knew his time was short, often making comments about his constant dance with mortality: “Oh, this is just the… close to the 15th time I should be dead. But God loves me and I love him and he knows it.”

The end came not in a flash of typical Alaskan drama, but in a quiet, dignified manner. On July 22, 2017, in Fairbanks, Alaska, Bob Hart passed away peacefully in his sleep.

The day before his death, Bob attended his own “celebration of life.” He sat by the fire, drank a few beers, and told stories with his longtime friends. This was his final night on Earth. For a man who had wrestled danger at every turn, whose life was a series of glorious, reckless battles, his calm and peaceful passage was “poetically ironic.”

The network was determined to honor his legacy. Executive Michael Gar explained that Bob’s demise “was a story we knew had to be part of this season. His connection to that place is so deep and meaningful that we must cover it respectfully.” His death served as a powerful, authentic cornerstone for the show’s final season, including his impact on his friend and fellow trapper, Charlie Jagow, who was set to follow instructions and maps Bob left behind to rebuild his fire-damaged trap lines.

Bob Hart was more than a TV personality; he was the embodiment of the fading frontier spirit. He was rugged, authentic, and always full of life. His story remains a powerful reminder of the deep, often melancholic, beauty of the last true wild places, and the extraordinary people who are its heart and soul.

n April 2022, she opened the Invictus Games in a tailored white Valentino suit, complete with Aquazzura heels and a matching Valentino bag. She also turned heads in a bold red Valentino gown during her and Prince Harry’s royal tour of Morocco in 2019.

The Duchess’s glamorous outing comes amid renewed attention surrounding her estranged relationships with her family members. Just days earlier, reports surfaced that her father, Thomas Markle, had been trapped in his 19th-floor apartment in the Philippines following a powerful 6.9-magnitude earthquake.

His daughter, Samantha Markle, claimed online that their father was “stuck” and unable to walk, sparking widespread concern.

However, Thomas, 81, later reassured the public, saying: “Please don’t worry about me, everything is okay,” while thanking “everyone” for their concern.

Thomas has been living in Cebu, Philippines, with his son, Thomas Jr., since moving there from Mexico earlier this year.

The pair are said to have settled into a rented high-rise apartment near the city’s bustling main road.

When Tyson Fury’s 16-year-old daughter Venezuela announced her engagement to boxing hopeful Noah Price, many were shocked by her nuptial news. But it’s little wonder why Tyson, also known as the Gypsy King, rushed to the defence of Venezuela and her soon to be husband, as he first met Paris when he was only 17 and she was a mere 15 years old.

Four years later, when the boxing champ turned 21, he walked down the aisle and married 19-year-old Paris. And although their throwback pictures show them looking loved up, they’ve revealed that it was a very different story just a few months before their big day.

Paris previous revealed that she actually called time on their engagement as the couple failed to agree on the date of the wedding. Tyson was eager to bring forward the wedding to the summer 2008 but Paris refused.

Speaking about their fall-out in her 2021 memoir Love and Fury, she wrote: “My fiancé clearly didn’t understand the amount of planning and organisation that went into a wedding. I was beginning to realise how incredibly impulsive he was, the sort of person who lived life in the moment and liked to make decisions on the hoof.”

She added: “In Tyson’s world, our big day could be rescheduled on a whim, just like one of his boxing matches. I was having none of it, though, and refused point blank to change the date. As tensions simmered between us, I soon found myself reaching breaking point. It was one conflict after another and after an ugly slanging match with him outside Mam’s house, I decided to call time on the wedding and our relationship.”

The mum of seven went on to say: “He thought I was joking and when I dropped the big bombshell, then he realised I was deadly serious.”

Paris revealed: “I simply couldn’t take any more, I told him. As far as I was concerned, we were done. Our courtship was over.”

The reason behind Tyson’s desire for a summer wedding was due to the fact that he had missed out on the Beijing Olympics, which gave him far more flexibility. However, Tyson soon realised the error of his ways and made his feelings known to Paris over text message while on a lads holiday in Ibiza.

In her autobiography, she admitted: “He sent me an emotionally-charged text. He told me he couldn’t believe I’d abandoned our relationship so easily, and he couldn’t bear the thought of me meeting somebody else.

“He ended the message by warning me that if I ever got married, he’d turn up to the church to halt the ceremony. I was furious. ‘You creep’ I said to myself as I deleted the message. Talk about having your cake and eating it. How dare you.”

Luckily for Tyson, Paris’ fury eased off and the two tied the knot at a Catholic church in Doncaster. However, Paris also revealed in her book that Tyson had not booked a hotel room for their wedding night.

She added that after their wedding, Tyson entered a hotel in the town centre and asked to reserve a room for the night. “I couldn’t believe what I was hearing,” she said.
