David Beckham has ‘curveball thrown into his day’ as he prepares to meet King Charles

David Beckham met King Charles at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London where they discussed the former footballer’s recent 50th birthday celebrations – which Brooklyn Beckham snubbed

Brooklyn and David Beckham are said to have been within just five minutes of each other

David Beckham had a “curveball thrown into his day” hours before he met King Charles at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, it is reported.

The former England international, 50, is said to have been “shocked and upset” to learn his son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz were just five minutes from the garden show at the time – and hadn’t informed the family. It was the second time Brooklyn, 26, and his 30-year-old wife had snubbed David after dodging his birthday celebrations in the capital earlier this month amid a very public family fallout.

“It is deeply upsetting for the Beckham family. All the time Brooklyn is in America, it’s a case of out of sight if not out of mind. Then he turns up in London and is just up the road working. It must have been difficult for David in particular. He was all geared up to meet the King and then he got that curveball thrown into his day,” an insider said.

Although David rubbed shoulders with King Charles and Queen Consort, Camilla, he missed the opportunity to catch up with his son, who had flown the 5,000 miles from his and Nicola’s home in the US for Nicola to do a modelling shoot in South Kensington, London. The location was half a mile – just five minutes – from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

The source told Mail Online : “Brooklyn didn’t even bother to let his parents know that he was going to be in London, it’s as shocking as it is upsetting for them… It came out of the blue when word got around that Nicola had put an Instagram post up. Then it started to get back through various friends that they were doing a shoot.”

It is understood Brooklyn and Nicola, who tied the knot in 2022, stayed the night in a hotel on Park Lane but still didn’t meet David on Tuesday before their flight back to California.

It is the latest blow to David in the bitter family dispute, which reportedly left wife Victoria, 51, having sleepless nights this month. The fashion designer has experienced her “worst nightmare” due to the feud, an insider had said. They added: “This is Victoria’s worst nightmare. The thought of any of her children falling out gives her sleepless nights.”

But defiant David, who played more than 200 times for manchester-united-fc>Manchester United, beamed with smiles as he talked to the monarch at the garden show on Monday. The Queen also appeared to get on incredibly well with Becks. The King and Queen are understood to have sent the sports icon a birthday gift, with Charles asking him “You got it, didn’t you?” And David replied: “It was incredible, thank you, it was very kind.” Later Camilla said: “Nice to see you again, glad you got the roses.”

Meghan Markle is reportedly keen to build on her friendship with Nicola Peltz. The Duchess of Sussex and her husband Prince Harry are said to be keen to develop a ‘US Fab Four’ with Nicola and her husband Brooklyn Beckham.

Brooklyn and Nicola have hit the headlines recently amid a feud with his parents David and Victoria Beckham. Sources claimed to The Mirror that Nicola and Brooklyn were “devastated” not to see his parents on a recent trip to London.

“Nicola encourages Brooklyn to see his family and is usually the reason Brooklyn does see his family. They are both devastated,” a source said, “They cannot believe that Victoria & David refused to see them privately after they travelled all the way to London specifically to try to repair the relationship. As parents, it’s shocking that Victoria & David are behaving this way… instead of privately discussing the issue. Victoria and David (appear to) have no interest in finding a solution that works for everyone.”

However, now, Meghan and Nicola are reportedly keen to create a new “power alliance”.

A source told Closer magazine of the pair’s new bond: “The Sussexes are looking to really build on this friendship, and all of them see huge potential for it to evolve into a ‘US Fab Four’.

“Creating this new power alliance is a big slap in the face for David, Victoria and the royals – but the four have zero qualms or regrets about that because they all feel like they’ve been so badly wronged.”

The source added of the pair’s plans: “As far as they’re all concerned, teaming up and finding solidarity in adversity is a no-brainer. And if they can get a sense of revenge in the process, then that’s all the better.”

Things are said to not be great between David and Prince Harry, with the Duke of Sussex said to have asked David to be an ambassador for the Invictus Games. However, it was claimed that Harry didn’t see David at the event in Sydney in 2018 and it had been claimed that Harry was keeping his friend at arms’ length because Meghan feared Victoria was leaking stories about her.

It was later reported that Brooklyn and his wife Nicola attended a dinner party at Meghan and Harry’s Montecito mansion just days after Brooklyn missed his dad David’s 50th birthday celebrations in London.

Sources claimed the invite was an “unexpected” but they gratefully received it after feeling “battle-wounded” by the family feud between the Beckhams, whilst Victoria and David are said to have “shuddered in horror” over the “new friendship”.

Meghan and Harry’s reps declined to comment when approached by the Mirror.

Strictly Come Dancing star reveals baby dilemma after adoption bombshell

Ellie Simmonds is considering motherhood – but there’s still room for doubt. Before making an official decision, she follows parents and experts for guidance in her new show.

Ellie Simmonds shares her thoughts on motherhood in a new documentary

Paralympian Ellie Simmonds dives deep into her most personal topic yet in a new hard-hitting documentary: parenthood.

Following the success of her BAFTA-winning documentary Finding My Secret Family, which saw Ellie Simmonds discover her birth mum had given her up for adoption after she was diagnosed with dwarfism, Ellie is exploring whether she should have children who could potentially share her disability.

Ellie was adopted into a loving family when she was just a few months old and had a happy childhood, telling cameras her adopted parents’ love “means so much”. However, part of her yearns for a biological family of her own.

“I always said to myself when I was growing up I wanted lots of children and I wanted to adopt,” says Ellie on the new ITV show, Ellie Simmonds: Should I Have Children?

“Whereas now I would want children of my own because I know what I’ve gone through. I think it would be nice to see someone like yourself and have yourself passed on in the world.”

Ellie doesn’t just look at her own situation in this informative and emotional film, she also explores the emotional terrain of antenatal testing, disability and the decisions expectant parents may encounter during pregnancy.

“We have incredible access to a foetal unit and medical professionals and professors,” she says, “The film shows what women, caregivers and couples go through when there may be some complications with a pregnancy and the choices they face.”

Venturing to one of the UK’s top Foetal Medicine Units, Ellie meets families processing a prenatal diagnosis of disability. One couple, Rosie and Lloyd, discover during their 28-week scan that their son has dwarfism.

Ellie supports their story with insights from doctors, geneticists and counsellors. But it’s the emotional side of parenthood that hits the hardest.

“With all the couples I met, as I talked to them about when they were pregnant, the fear was the future and the unknown,” Ellie says, “As soon as the baby was here all that went out of the window.

Science is incredible, but when you get told something that is maybe a bit different, or your child has a disability, then you play out all these worse case scenarios.

When they find out their child has a disability, their brain is on overload. That’s what I found out from my birth mum, she was vulnerable, your hormones and emotions are everywhere.”

One father, David, shared a different fear on the show. “He was scared of his child being bullied,” Ellie says. “That part is the bit that upset me the most. It makes me feel like I want to see what else I can do to help people, what more I can do to help Disabled people.”

She's now fronting a new special as she reflects on whether she should build her own family

Social media can amplify the pressure for new parents. “There are couples who go through this joyful experience, pictures on social media and baby reveals but also there are a lot of women and couples that go through the struggles, even if there aren’t any complications,” says Ellie. “Support is definitely a big factor when you are going through this emotive time, having people around you is crucial.”

For Ellie, the new documentary isn’t just professional – it’s a personal reckoning. Born with achondroplasia, a genetic condition that causes dwarfism, she was abandoned at birth and adopted at three months old.

Now, at 30, she’s surrounded by friends starting families – but she’s not there yet. “Being my age, 30, a lot of my friends are now starting to have children,” says Ellie. “I’m not ready just yet.”

Ellie’s decision to wait before starting a family isn’t just about timing. It’s about what pregnancy could mean for her. Her condition is hereditary, and if her partner also had dwarfism, there’s a risk of a fatal outcome for the baby because of the double-dominant form of the condition, also known as homozygous achondroplasia.

The documentary is due to be aired on ITV and explores antenatal testing
The documentary is due to be aired on ITV and explores antenatal testing(Image: ITV)

Ellie also wanted to see how disability is approached today by medical professionals. In her first documentary she was shocked by a fact sheet her birth mother received after her own diagnosis that described people with restricted growth as “evil” and “stupid.”

Seeing what my birth mum went through and the language that was used back then to tell parents, I wanted to see if that has improved,” explains Ellie.

“Society, as a whole, has got better with different disabilities but I still think we have a long way to go.” Ellie believes society has moved forward – but not far enough. “Society as a whole has got better with different disabilities, but we have a long way to go,” Ellie says.

Now firmly established on our screens, Strictly star Ellie is determined to rewrite the narrative around people living with a disability. “I want people to realise they are stronger than they think,” she says.

As she reflects on her own journey, Ellie asks important questions too. “It’s really important to educate yourself and also to open up that conversation about the struggles that women and couples go through to have a child,” says Ellie.

“After speaking to lots of people through this documentary, so many have difficulties. It’s hard, and you feel like you are on your own and I don’t want people to feel like they are on their own.”

Katie Price has had another swipe at ex-partner and dad to son Harvey, Dwight Yorke, after saying he left her to ‘fend for myself, for me and Harv’ after ‘cheating’ on her

Katie Price has again hit out at her ex, Dwight Yorke, branding the former footballer a “cheat”. The duo spent a brief time together between 2000 and 2001, welcoming son Harvey Price together.

However, the pair split while Katie, now 46, was pregnant, and she says he hasn’t been there for their son – and even initially denied being his father. Now, Katie has once again hit out at the former Manchester United star, 53, while also saying the door is always open for him to be in Harvey’s life.

Harvey, who is now 22, has medical conditions including Prader-Willi Syndrome, autism and septo-optic dysplasia. Katie previously said Dwight ignored her attempts to involve him in his son’s life.

Harvey Price and mum, Katie Price
Harvey Price and mum, Katie Price

Speaking about always being the “breadwinner” in her life, Katie told Maya Rai on Outlet Ten Discussions: “I’ve always been the breadwinner. I’m always the one who’s earned the money. I’ve never been with someone, ever… well, I was with Dwight Yorke.”

She continued: “But he cheated on me and that ended anyway and he wasn’t around for Harv. So, that’s a different thing. I fended for myself, for me and Harv.

“Even though Dwight is very welcome, any time, to come into Harvey’s life, because I’m not that kind of person.”

It’s far from the first time Katie has hit out at her former partner. Katie alleged their relationship broke down after she discovered Dwight had cheated. The model once told how she was on a lingerie photoshoot when she heard that the sportsman had been partying with other women.

During a 2009 interview, Dwight addressed the allegations made against him and admitted he wasn’t the ‘perfect partner’. He said at the time: “I think anyone who’s in a relationship would like their partner to be faithful and I’m saying I wasn’t the perfect partner, she knows that.”

And speaking of his failed relationship with Harvey, Dwight added at the time: “It is a combination of different things, one my time schedule and being based up in Manchester and a footballer on an everyday basis.

“Not sitting here and say I’m a total perfect father, I’ve made mistakes along the way and I would love to turn the clock back.”

However, in his own book published the same year, Born To Score, he painted a very different picture of his feelings towards his son. He wrote: “From the moment I set eyes on the little fella, I have loved my son like I could never ever have imagined possible.

“I am not going to hear anymore that I did not care for Harvey, or have any understanding of his needs or that I was not interested in his welfare. Over the years I have heard Katie saying how [Peter] Andre is Harvey’s dad and what a terrible, uncaring father I have been, all of which sticks in my throat.

“Maybe if she had not made life so difficult for me, might have been able to take a far more proactive role.”

Jesy Nelson makes brave decision on newborn twins in emotional update

Former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson has allowed cameras to film her pregnancy and they’ll follow first steps with twins too as the singer prepares to bare all in a new documentary

New mum Jesy Nelson’s brave twins will be shown for the first time on screen – as part of a new six part documentary about her pregnancy and what she describes as a “new chapter in her life”.

Fans will get the inside track on the ups and downs of Jesy’s tricky pregnancy and get to meet the twins – named Ocean Jade and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster in a Prime series.

The streaming giants have officially confirmed the project with Jesy as she shared a photo on social media. The twins birth came as a relief to Jesy and her partner Zion Foster.

Jesy said: “I feel so excited and proud that we can finally reveal we have been filming our own series for Amazon! We met with the creative director Demi doyle and Producer Gavin Evans at Navybee and letting the cameras in wasn’t an easy decision for us as it’s such a deeply personal time but I knew I wanted to tell my story in my own words.

“We opened the doors fully and I’m really looking forward to letting you all in as I navigate my way to becoming a first time mum to our beautiful baby girls Ocean and Story. I’ll be honest, it’s not been easy as it’s been such a high risk pregnancy, so you’ll see all the highs and lows and rollercoaster of emotions we have been going through. I hope you will all join me on this journey as I really open up and say goodbye to the past and enter this new chapter in my life. I hope you love it as much as we do.”

Prime have said she will “share her truth like never before” and the footage will include “weekly hospital visits and candid conversations” as well as the unwavering support of her loved ones.

But the doc isn’t just about motherhood, she will confront her past and on this series she will open up about the life-altering decision to leave Little Mix in 2020, breaking her silence on the relentless pressures of fame, the battle with mental health and the controversies that followed. It will then continue with her new chapter with Zion and the twins.

    jesy and zion in hospital

    Image:
INSTAGRAM)Jesy and Zion have been living in a London hospital for the last two months and doctors planned to induce the births after 32 weeks. In the end the babies were born after 31 weeks and five days as Jesy explained in her announcement on instagram.

She added: “It all happened so quickly, but we are so blessed that they are here with us, healthy and fighting strong. We’ve never felt more in love.”

Former Little Mix star Jesy had emergency surgery in April after the babies developed twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome – a rare condition which could have been fatal for one or both twins. The operation was a success but it meant Jesy and Zion lived in hospital afterwards until the babies were born.

Shortly before their birth Zion told the Mirror : “We’re so grateful because Jesy and the twins have come through so much. There were so many times in this pregnancy we didn’t think we’d get to where we are now.”

The Prime documentary team were filming with Jesy in the hospital during her pregnancy and there will be emotional scenes and she and Zion speak on camera about how close they came to losing their babies.

It will then capture the joy of them becoming parents, will filming expected to start again in the coming days and weeks to show their first steps as parents with the twins.

Demi Doyle, Creative Director and Executive Producer, for makers Navybee said: “From the moment we met Jesy she has welcomed us into her world with so much honesty and heart. Letting the cameras in during such a vulnerable and life-changing time wasn’t an easy decision but she chose to open up in the most brave and beautiful way.

“With her incredible partner Zion by her side, we’ve followed every raw emotion, every high and low, and the deeply personal moments that have shaped this new chapter of her life. This is more than just a journey to motherhood, it’s a powerful, emotional step forward, and a chance for Jesy to finally tell her story. Letting us share this journey is something truly special, and we feel so privileged to be part of.”

Hannah Blyth, Prime Video UK said: “We are delighted to be working with the talented Demi Doyle and the fantastic team at Navybee to bring Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix to Prime Video. The series will offer an intimate look at Jesy’s journey — a powerful account that’s never been told before – and we are extremely grateful to Jesy for opening up her life to the cameras during such a pivotal and impactful year for her, as she embraces new motherhood and reflects on her experiences beyond the headlines.

“We’re confident that our Prime Video audience will be deeply moved by her honesty and strength as she finds new clarity and speaks her truth in this next chapter of her life.”

In an interview last month before they were born, Zion said living in hospital and preparing to become parents had made him and Jesy closer.

He explained: “We’ve literally grown to understand each other on a deeper level. And I think we really understand how much we actually care about each other.

“I think it’s at these times when you really, really know what love you have and what your relationship means. And I think for me and Jess, this has just taken it to a whole other level of us knowing we are literally made for each other.”

Jesy from Romford, East London, shot to fame on ITV ’s The X Factor in 2011 and stayed in Little Mix until 2020. She has been dating Zion, from South London, since November 2022. The couple received thousands of messages of support from the public since they spoke about the twins’ struggles.

Zion previously said Jesy regularly read them whilst pregnant and they were a source of comfort. He explained: “It’s really been incredible, the level of support. It’s been absolutely incredible. And I think just massive, massive, massive credit to Jesy, because obviously when these kinds of things happen, it’s very difficult to actually share that.

But Jess had the courage to say: ‘You know what? I want to put this story out there. I want to let people in. I want people to know it’s not just about sharing the good moments. I want people to know the reality.’ And just to see the response, people’s support, the amount of messages that just flooded in daily.

“Even after the operation, Jess was recovering and we didn’t say anything for a while, people were asking: ‘Oh, is everything OK?’ I think it’s just been just so touching, and I don’t know if the word is ‘motivational’, but it just really keeps us going.

Trisha Goddard has provided her followers with a health update as she continues to deal with her incurable cancer diagnosis. The former chat show host, 67, has stage four breast cancer and recently opened up about her condition on national television during her time in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Now, the former daytime TV icon has shared an update on her condition on Instagram. She has explained she is also experiencing Raynaud’s syndrome. According to the NHS, Raynaud’s phenomenon is “where your blood stops flowing properly to your fingers and toes”.

It’s thought Trisha’s condition could be a side effect to her cancer treatments, including chemotherapy. Taking to her social media platform, she shared an image of her bright white fingers and told her followers how the condition had got worse since she began chemo treatment.

Trisha captioned the upload: “Anybody else dealing with pesky Raynaud’s? If you do, here’s what happens when you forget to wear gloves when buying frozen food, and then go about putting it in your freezer, duh!”

She revealed she had dealt with it “mildly for years” before confessing that over a year of infusions and chemotherapy every 3 weeks, the condition had worsened. Trisha continued: “Compared to other, um… tings dat be going downit vex me small time, still…Ouch!!

“Here’s herself waiting for the painful fingers to go bright red, then blue, then icily grey/white before they eventually go back to normal!”

Trisha revealed she had found ways to deal with the condition over the years. She explained how she now wears gloves while driving to ensure the vehicle’s air conditioning doesn’t trigger Raynaud’s in her fingers.

“When I have a cold drink, I use a napkin to hold the glass and so on,” she went on. “BUT every so often I forget; the burning sensation starts and my fingers go painfully numb while they turn the colours of the Union Jack!”

Trisha then added information on how chemotherapy can effect the condition. The description also informed her followers of how the condition “manifests” before admitted it’s “important to manage and be aware of this side effect”.

Among those sending her well wishes in the comments section were Good Morning Britain doctor, Dr Amir Khan. He wrote: “Sorry babes, hope you feel better, it’s such a painful condition.” Trisha responded with a simple emoji face blowing a kiss.

After leaving the CBB house last month, Trisha opened up on how she dealt with her cancer treatment while locked away from the public. She explained the process she underwent before stepping into the iconic household, saying she had been given a round of chemotherapy just 24 hours before joining the show and flew in from her home in Connecticut, America.

Trisha said: “I went to the infusion centre on April 1. I call it my spa room. I had a soupcon of chemo and targeted hormone therapy, one little bag after the other. I have a port catheter [in her chest] and I get plugged in.”

Speaking to the MailOnline, she continued: “My oncologist is brilliant, a rock star, and so sweet. He said, ‘I’m going to help you do this because your message [of hope] is so great’.” ITV bosses made sure that her stay in CBB was a relaxed and comfortable one and was treated to a number of luxuries including her own bedroom suite.

What really brought Gary Lineker’s BBC career crashing down after jibe at replacement

Gary Lineker is expected to announce today that he has quit the BBC and will not be there to host the World Cup, leaving earlier than planned after quitting from Match of the Day

Gary Lineker could have ended his own BBC career after a comment about his boss. The sports presenter had announced he was quitting Match of the Day but it has now been reported that he will leave the BBC earlier.

During a recent interview after he confirmed his Match of the Day exit, Gary had said Alex Kay-Jelski had “no television experience” and suggested any plans to revamp the show without him would fail.

“I think he wants more journalists – he has come from that background. He has got no television experience.”

    Gary Lineker
Gary Lineker is expected to announce he is leaving the BBC today

Now BBC sources have claimed that Gary’s comments about Alex could have been the “final straw” for the BBC who had “indulged” Gary by “bending its rules to breaking point”.

Gary’s final Match of the Day episode will air on Sunday and now he is expected to announce his exit, and will no longer lead the BBC’s coverage of the 2026 World Cup as was originally planned.

A source told The Sun of Gary’s decision to step down: “Gary acknowledged his position at the BBC, anchoring the most prestigious tournament in world football, was untenable, and he will not be hosting the World Cup.

“He offered to step down at the end of the season, and did not want the BBC — an organisation he still holds in the highest of esteem — dragged into any further controversy. He remains absolutely devastated by the recent turn of events and is deeply regretful about how his post was interpreted. His last Match of the Day will air on Sunday now and he won’t be back.”

The footballer and TV presenter came under fire after sharing a pro-Palestine video on his Instagram account earlier this week which featured an ‘anti-Semitic’ rat emoji from the campaign group, Palestine Lobby. Gary later issued an apology after quickly deleting the video from his Instagram story, with his decision to leave expected to be announced today.

“On Instagram I reposted material which I have since learned contained offensive references. I very much regret these references. I would never knowingly share anything antisemitic. It goes against everything I believe in,” he said in a statement.

“The post was removed as soon as I became aware of the issue. Whilst I strongly believe in the importance of speaking out on humanitarian issues, including the tragedy unfolding in Gaza, I also know that how we do so matters. I take full responsibility for this mistake. That image does not reflect my views. It was an error on my part for which I apologise unreservedly.”

Spice Girls fans will be over the moon to hear that the band’s Netflix biopic is back on track, according to reports. Not only that, the streamer has reportedly signed a huge comedian to write the plot.

Last year, it was reported that The Spice Girls were set to be the subject of a tell-all TV drama whether they are involved or not. It was revealed that a biopic was going to be made to mark 30 years since the release of their hit Wannabe. It’s expected to air sometime next year.

At the time, a source told the Sun: “Executives are keen to have all the group on board providing as much input as possible – after all they are pop royalty. But Netflix are the organisation who defied the wishes of real royalty and went ahead and made The Crown, so they aren’t afraid to go it alone when they have to.”

However, it was reported that things could be put on hold due to alleged rifts in the band. Now, it looks like the streamer has been granted the green light once again, with Channel 4 comedian Jack Rooke on script writing duties.

“Bagging Jack is a real coup for the project and might be the crucial element that drives the drama forward after its rocky start,” a source told the Sun.

The source then went on to say that Jack already has a great relationship with Mel C, as she’s a huge fan of his show Big Boys.

“Of course, Netflix has yet to confirm it has commissioned the show and there’s still a lot to play for. But there now seems to be a genuine will to make things happen,” the source continued.

The Mirror has contacted Netflix for comment.

The girl group exploded onto the music scene in 1996 and went on to be one of the most successful British bands in the world. Geri Halliwell, 51, Victoria Beckham, 50, Mel B, 49, Mel C, 50, and Emma Bunton, 48, had worldwide success and went on to release two albums before Ginger Spice sensationally quit.

It isn’t the band’s first tie to the streaming service. In 2022, Emma and Mel B took part in The Circle USA where they were seen catfishing the other contestants pretending to be a man named Jared.

The duo admitted they are “massive fans” of the reality show, with Mel adding: “So when they asked us [to appear], no brainer.”

Simon Cowell ‘eyes up new Britain’s Got Talent judge’ as fans call for Bruno Tonioli axe

Britain’s Got Talent will see the return of KSI this week and there’s speculation that Simon Cowell is considering him being a judge next year amid calls to replace Bruno Tonioli

Simon Cowell is now considering replacing Bruno Tonioli on Britain’s Got Talent, it has been reported. The talent show creator is also said to have already eyed up a new addition to the judging panel for the ITV show’s future.

Former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno, 69, joined BGT in 2023 as the replacement for David Walliams. He’s back beside Simon, 65, Alesha Dixon, 46, and Amanda Holden, 54, for his third series this year, but KSI, 31, stepped in to cover for him at auditions that he was unable to attend.

Fans previously called for content creator KSI – also known as JJ Olatunji – to replace Bruno on the panel after his guest stint earlier in the series. There’s continued to be calls for KSI to be a permanent judge amid criticism of Bruno.

KSI is set to return to the panel for this weekend’s live semi-final and one fan wrote on X: “At last KSI is back.. keep him.” The latest reaction from viewers of the long-running show comes following criticism of Bruno earlier in the series.

Someone said: “Anyone want Bruno replaced with KSI permanently or just me? Bloke does my absolute heading.” One fan wrote: “Was really hoping Simon would have fired Bruno and brought in KSI for the remaining live shows.”

Amid the reaction from viewers, Closer reports that Simon is considering further changes to the judging panel in the future. And a source told the outlet that he is “growing a bit fed up” of co-star Bruno’s “antics” on the show.

The source said: “With the X Factor no longer on air, BGT has become Simon’s baby, and he is obsessed with the show. Bruno’s currently in his third year as a judge, but there are already rumours that Simon is growing a bit fed up with his antics and recently summoned him to his house in the Cotswolds for a meeting.”

They went on to claim that Simon is “keen” to get KSI – who is a member of the YouTube group the Sidemen – involved with the next series of BGT. The source said: “Simon’s said to be keen to get KSI signed on for next year’s series.”

KSI had temporarily replaced Bruno – who is thought to have been away filming Dancing with the Stars in the US – at auditions held for the latest series of BGT in Blackpool just months ago. He’s also covered for Simon on the show.

His return to the judging panel was announced last week. BGT host Dec Donnelly, 49, shared the news with viewers at the end of the latest live semi-final on Sunday night.

The presenter also confirmed that this weekend’s episode will aired on Saturday, as usual for the new series. As previously reported, Dec said on the ITV show just days ago: “We’ll be back on Saturday with KSI joining the judging panel.”
