The Loose Women star, 65, shared her simple but ‘delicious’ air fryer recipe on social media

Ruth Langsford has shared her feta omelette recipe with fans—and it’s partly made in the air fryer. The Loose Women star, 65, said her dish is not only ‘delicious’ but also especially quick to make.

“QUICK BRUNCH!” she said to her 1.1 million followers in a recent post. “Feta omelette with air-fried peppers & tomatoes and a side of avocado. Delicious!”

To begin her recipe, Ruth took a substantial bag of Tesco-branded sliced mixed peppers and placed them in an air fryer tray. She then added a generous spoonful of chopped garlic.

Next, she included a handful of chopped cherry tomatoes before giving everything a good shake.

After spraying what seemed to be a light coating of oil on top, she set the tray in her Ninja air fryer, cooking it for about 10 minutes at 180°C. While waiting, she whisked three egg yolks in a bowl and fried the mixture in a hot pan with butter.

This formed the base of her omelette, which she topped with several cubes of feta and a blend of herbs. Once it was cooked, she folded the omelette in half and plated it next to the air-fried vegetables.

Chopped avocado, often regarded as a ‘superfood,’ was served on the side. “It’s lovely….[Feta] melts inside the omelette, nice salty flavour,” Ruth also wrote.

The TV star’s video quickly racked up numerous comments, with many fans keen to explore the recipe for themselves. “Looks lovely Ruth, quick and simple too.

“However, I’m not too keen on peppers, so I would have to replace them with an alternative,” one person wrote. Meanwhile, another added: “You’re a great cook. Your meals always look lovely.”

Someone else also joked: “Ooh. Looks great. But three eggs? You must be having company,” Ruth replied: “No….all for me!!”

Meghan Markle has given fans a rare glimpse into her family life as she shared a sweet moment with her daughter Lilibet.

The Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram last night to share a new video with her three-year-old, where they both can be seen wearing matching beekeeping suits.

In the clip, the mother daughter duo hold hands as they walk towards a beehive, which also featured in her Netflix show With Love, Meghan. Lilibet turns to looked to her mum – giving royal fans a rare look at her face – and she even wore a pair of rainbow wellies to complete her look. Meghan, 43, then bent down and rubbed her daughter’s back as they approached the hive on their Californian estate.

Beekeeping is a firm royal favourite, with Princess Kate also enjoying the hobby. Meghan has followed suit, diving into the past time alongside her daughter. The Princess of Wales has previously shared photos of herself with bees, while Queen Camilla is the president of Bees for Development, a charity that trains beekeepers and protects habitats in over 50 countries. Camilla is also known to be an avid beekeeper when at her country estate, Ray Mill House, in Wiltshire.

Meanwhile, Meghan shared her passion for beekeeping in the first episode of her cooking and lifestyle Netlix show, which released in March. Speaking to a beekeeper at her hives in the series, the Duchess became emotional and said “it’s beautiful to be this connected”.

It’s not the first time the couple have shared snaps inside their home, previously sharing moments from their Mediterranean-style £2m pad that sits on a 7.4-acres of land. Prince Harry and Meghan have proudly shared their vegetable and fruit garden, rose garden, chicken coop, and fruit orchards as part of their broader mission of leading a mindful, sustainable lifestyle.

But sharing snaps of Archie and Lilibet is a new move for Meghan, as she’s been sharing more photos – usually without their faces shown. The Duchess’ personal family posts have become a hot topic with royal experts, especially after she posted her wedding anniversary celebration montage on Instagram last week. Rumours have swirled about the state of Meghan and Harry’s marriage since they appeared to be separate themselves professionally last year. But the couple have swiftly shut down any speculation.

According to one royal expert, the gushing posts are all strategic and Meghan has a plan. Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told new she believes the duchess, 43, is no doubt aware of the ongoing rumours that her husband is unhappy and is keen to silence them. “I think Meghan is a fighter,” said Jennie.

“She will be aware that some people, particularly in the UK, believe rumours that Harry is unhappy, and she’s determined to show that they have a strong marriage and a happy family life.

“I hope that’s true, and there’s no reason to disbelieve her. I think she’s also determined to show that she is a strong character and, from relatively humble beginnings, she has become a successful actress, and now an influencer and entrepreneur.

“I think she’s anxious to be seen as a successful businesswoman in her own right – and not just because she has lived briefly inside the palace walls and has a royal title.”

Jools Oliver, the wife of TV chef Jamie Oliver, has previously opened up about enduring several agonising miscarriages.

Jamie and Jools Oliver share five children together – Poppy, Daisy, Petal, Buddy, and River Rocket. There are 14 years between their eldest Poppy, 23, and youngest River Rocket, who was born in August 2016.

However, despite having such a large family, the couple have sadly suffered baby loss – including a miscarriage that nearly proved fatal for Jools, who turned 50 last year.

Speaking in August 2021, Jools addressed nearly dying due to a miscarriage that left her with PTSD.

She said during an interview on baby loss charity Saying Goodbye’s podcast Life & Soul that she felt miscarriage remained a taboo subject. That’s despite miscarriage affecting one in four pregnancies in the UK.

However, Jools – married to Jamie since 2000 – admitted she felt as if she couldn’t speak openly about her own experiences.

“I felt guilty as I had four children and thought I can’t tell people about my miscarriages,” Jools said at the time.

“I stopped telling my friends. I didn’t even tell my mum as I was sure she was thinking, you’re 40 something, you’ve got a wonderful family, you’ve got everything you’ve ever wanted, why are you pushing it?”

Jools also said she “didn’t even really tell Jamie” when she was pregnant as she was concerned he’d wonder why they were putting themselves through pain.

Jools added: “I thought I was putting people through hell for my own selfish gain, and that’s terrible.”

‘I didn’t know what to do’

Jools revealed her first miscarriage occurred when she was 41, before she had her youngest child, River Rocket. A second miscarriage endangered her life – and she believes she may not have survived if she hadn’t got to hospital when she did.

“Miscarriages can be so damn dangerous, they can take your life,” she reflected.

Opening up, Jools shared: “It was a miscarriage, a bit of bleeding, I thought it would just be like number one. I went to the doctor, they said the horrific thing is there is no heartbeat. I took the pill they give you to help bring on the contractions, all weekend nothing happened, I went on long walks, I went to my daughter’s concert, nothing.”

Jools’ doctor then booked her in for a procedure, however, she explains that she “stupidly left it too late”. “I went to get my breast checked… as I was getting my boobs checked I just felt a gush. It kept coming, and coming, and the doctor said: ‘Are you okay, you’ve gone very white.’ And I said: ‘I’m having a miscarriage actually.’

“I went to the loo, it was all coming out. Normally I know what to do, but I didn’t know what to do. I stuffed nappies, anything – I must have had three nappies, a loo roll and I thought it’s going to stop.”

Jools told how she then got in the car to drive to the hospital while bleeding heavily, but ended up calling for an ambulance as she knew her life was at risk. When Jamie arrived at the hospital, she said it looked like a “murder scene” as she continued to ask the staff if she was going to die.

“I don’t remember the rest,” she continued: “I must have almost passed out, and the doctor said: ‘Look, we’re just going to do the operation.’”

She added that she has since suffered from PTSD  and will often have flashbacks from the day of the second miscarriage.

“These are flashbacks I will have to deal with for the rest of my life,” she said

In recent months, Prince Harry has appeared to take a back seat while wife Meghan Markle has taken the limelight by launching her As Ever brand and Netflix show With Love, Meghan – but now Harry is reportedly planning to launch a commercial venture of his own

From launching her Netflix show to selling out the products from her As Ever, Meghan Markle has not been far from the spotlight of late. And the Duchess of Sussex has continued to build her business empire with her podcast on female business founders and by posting snippets of her life on Instagram.

But while Meghan has basked in the limelight, the same can’t be said for Prince Harry, who appears to have taken a back seat after the couple appear to have decided to pursue different career paths. It has led some to label Harry as Meghan’s ‘spare’ in a jibe about his status as a spare to his heir to the throne older brother Prince William.

However, according to the Mail on Sunday, that could be set to change as he attempts to find a ‘new purpose’. The publication reports that Harry will be launching his own commercial venture in the next few months and the same time as concentrating on his Invictus Games Foundation – and it will be one of the first tasks for the Sussex’s newly formed team of advisors.

A source said: “Harry is unkindly described as the ‘spare’ to Meghan’s endeavours. In reality, he has been giving her the space to flourish. Now it is his time to throw himself into exciting new work. Invictus will always come first, but he has also been working on commercial ideas of his own.” The Mirror has contacted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s representatives for comment.

News of Harry’s commercial venture comes after it was revealed he left a charity “completely gobsmacked” with an unexpected move that follows in the footsteps of his wife, Meghan.

It emerged that the Duke of Sussex has thanked a community project based in Nottingham by making a ‘significant’ donation to help fund its services. The charity, Himmah, says the undisclosed sum will fund more than 650 much-needed food parcels for vulnerable families in the city.

Harry’s donation comes four years after the Duchess of Sussex donated £10,000 with funds from The Royal Foundation for the charity to purchase equipment and fund the Salaam Shalom Kitchen, a joint Muslim and Jewish community project offering hot meals and groceries.

Himmah, which tackles poverty, racism and social exclusion and is based in Gamble Street in the Radford area of the city, said it was “hugely humbled” at Harry’s donation. Sajid Mohammed, director at Himmah, said: “I could not believe it when we got the email. To have been chosen by such a high-profile royal once is amazing, but to have been supported by Prince Harry, too, left us completely gobsmacked.”

In a letter to Himmah released by the charity, Harry said: “Nottingham holds a special place in my heart, having had the privilege of visiting and supporting the community there for over a decade.

“The incredible work Himmah does to address food insecurity, poverty, and social exclusion should be recognised and applauded. I’m happy to be able to play a small part in your mission to bring communities together by creating opportunities and support for those facing hardship.”

Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz have made a direct plea. The couple are currently embroiled in a feud with his famous family, including his mum, Victoria and dad, David.

Sources claim that the Beckham family fear that their son, 26, is being held hostage by his wife, who is claimed to be controlling his every move, leaving them concerned. But now the pair have taken to social media to issue a direct plea after Brooklyn’s brothers, Cruz and Romeo, shared their views on the ongoing drama.

Taking to their Instagram Stories, Brooklyn and Nicola pleaded with fans to help a Los Angeles dog shelter. Sharing a snap of an adorable four-legged friend, Nicola said: “This baby is everything you would want in a pup. He wants his forever family.”

A second snap saw another dog, with Nicola writing: “OMG what a perfect face,” alongside a crying emoji. Wannabe photographer turned chef, Brooklyn, reshared both posts to his 16.3 million followers. The couple were resharing posts from Yogi’s House, a sanctuary in Los Angeles which saves dogs from shelters and the euthanisation list.

Although the Beckham-Peltz feud has been brewing since Brooklyn and Nicola tied the knot in 2022, it reached boiling point earlier this year. Former Manchester United legend David turned 50 and celebrated with multiple parties and family events.

Despite both Brooklyn and Nicola being invited, they failed to attend any. For one occasion, they jetted in to London from Los Angeles and although they were staying in a nearby hotel, chose to head out with a friend rather than attend a swanky dinner for David’s birthday.

Sources now claim that Spice Girls icon Victoria and her husband have effectively washed their hands and are “done” with Nicola. Meanwhile, sources close to Nicola and Brooklyn have claimed that they have made it “virtually impossible” for David and Victoria to give them “love and support.”

But those close to the Beckham family don’t believe this is the case. Speaking to the Mail Online, a source said: “Brooklyn is now being referred to as ‘the hostage.’ He is in a situation where those who love Brooklyn fear that he is being controlled by Nicola, and it is heartbreaking.”

“Videos like this are just not what he does. He will be dying inside,” they said of a recent video he shared of himself and Nicola. They added: “He’s soppy and he’s a romantic, but that video just isn’t him. He hates all of that stuff, so you have to wonder if Nicola was behind it.”

Brooklyn shared a clip of himself and Nicola riding a motorbike and made a very blistering comment, which appeared to be aimed at his family. Captioning his post, Brooklyn penned: “My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person I know xx me and you forever baby.”

One fan fumed: “Don’t forget your beautiful parents who will always love you unconditionally.” A second went on to add: “Real love doesn’t make you choose. Why can’t you love your wife AND your family? I hope whatever is going on can be resolved.” Another penned: “Devastated for Victoria. Cruel to so publicly denounce your parents, a good wife would be trying to reconcile you, not divide you.”

It’s 20 years this month since Katie Price and Peter Andre got secretly engaged after a lot of heavy petting in the Australian outback.

The former It couple met on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here in 2004 and went on to tie the knot in September 2005 before welcoming son Junior, 19, and daughter Princess, 17.

Sadly, their split in 2009 became the stuff of noughties nastiness, with both briefing against the other. But Katie’s war with Peter isn’t the only battle she fought valiantly.

The headlines of the decade were also full of talk of her infamous feud with Victoria Beckham, who was then a Spice Girl. Their beef first started cooking in 2000 when Katie got jealous about Victoria’s collaboration with her then-boyfriend, Dane Bowers.

But despite Victoria’s short-loved attempt to become a solo star aside, by the time Katie met Peter Andre on I’m A Celebrity, there was no denying that Brand Beckham was packing more of a punch.

But everything changed when Katie and Peter got married and sold the rights for £1.75million – almost twice the cash Victoria and David got for their own wedding in 1999.

And her headwear was equally as impressive thanks to her foot-high tiara. Doves were apparently released from the skirt of her enormous gown before she and Peter took their place of thrones covered in pink and lilac flowers.

Meanwhile, the Beckhams spent £500,000 on their OTT bash at Ireland’s Luttrellstown Castle, with the bride walking down the aisle in a £77,000 custom-made Vera Wang gown topped off with a £25,000 with a gold and diamond tiara.

They later changed into matching purple ensembles planned to twin with the carpets, and cut a cake topped with naked figurines of themselves with a sword.

After saying ‘I do’, a single white dove was released and a flag was raised above the castle with the initials V. B. D for Victoria, their then baby son Brooklyn and David. Needless to say, neither scored an invite to the others’ big day.

But Katie blamed hanging out with the Beckhams for her subsequent split from Dane, claiming it “changed” him. “He used to say ‘Why can’t we be like Victoria and David?’ Like the way they were in love – which I thought we were,” she said.

“He just kept comparing everything. I think it went to his head that he worked for Victoria. He was always going away with her.” What followed was years of barbs, with Katie accused VB of having “horrible teeth.”

Posh was even accused of changing a flight after learning she’d be on the same plane as Katie – which elicited a rather cutting response from her rep.

The spokesman told the Daily Star: “Victoria doesn’t get drawn into public tittle-tattle with anyone – let alone her. It’s not her style. Sadly for her, Victoria’s far too busy being what she is desperate to be – a success in America – to worry about this.

“Victoria is launching her new primetime show on America’s huge NBC network next week. While Victoria has her own show on US television, she is desperate to be recognised and make a name for herself – fighting to get a few cable viewers.”

Katie Price has shared a gorgeous photo of herself and her son Harvey cuddling in bed before his 23rd birthday celebrations. The former glamour model, 47, took to her Instagram stories on Bank Holiday Monday to share her excitement about Harvey turning another year older.

The sweet snap saw Katie and her first-born son, who she welcomed with ex-partner Dwight Yorke, laying face-to-face in bed as they enjoyed a relaxing Bank Holiday Monday chilling at home. Katie shared her excitement for Harvey’s big day as she wrote: “Bank holiday cuddles before lots of celebrations tomorrow.”

It comes after Katie opened up about the growing health crisis facing her eldest son, revealing that his weight has reached a dangerous tipping point. At 30 stone, the soon-to-be 22-year-old is now at serious risk of a heart attack – a terrifying possibility that has left Katie feeling overwhelmed and deeply concerned for his future.

Speaking candidly on The Katie Price Show, her podcast co-hosted with sister Sophie, the mum-of-five didn’t hold back about the reality of their situation. “He’s just under 30st and that’s huge,” she said. “He’s on the verge of a heart attack. He won’t have a long life if he carries on putting more and more weight on.”

Katie shared that they’re now working closely with medical professionals in a bid to turn things around. “That’s obviously a massive worry for me, but we’re doing something about it with the doctors,” she explained, noting that they’re waiting to begin treatment with Mounjaro, a medication being used to assist with weight loss.

However, Harvey’s complex medical needs and existing prescriptions have made it difficult to move forward swiftly. “Because of his complex needs and medications he’s on, things aren’t as easy,” she admitted.

Despite the fear and challenges, Katie’s love and admiration for Harvey remain unwavering. “I love my Harvey Price,” she said warmly. “As much as I say Harvey is hard work, it’s a hard work I wouldn’t want to be without. It’s very rewarding.”

Looking to the future with hope, she added: “I can’t imagine Harvey in two years when he’s started Mounjaro and has lost a lot of weight.” Over the weekend, Katie her heartbreak over the fact her eldest child, Harvey, has seen his weight increase to dangerous levels.

Katie conceived him when she was in a relationship with footballer Dwight, 53 – who brutally rejected Katie and his son following their romance in the early noughties. Katie went on to welcome son Junior, 19, and daughter Princess, 17, with first husband Peter Andre, 52.

She is also mum to son Jett, 11, and daughter Bunny, 10, who she shares with former husband Kieran Hayler, 38 – who was the third Mr Price from 2013 until 2021. Throughout his life, Harvey has battled health issues – including a condition called Prader-Willi syndrome, which provokes a constant feeling of hunger.

Katie has been trying to help Harvey lose weight as she fears he has reached a danger level of overweight – but has been left saddened by the results of a recent weigh-in. Taking to social media over the weekend, Katie shared that Harvey is now almost 30 stone.

Speaking on Snapchat, the OnlyFans content creator said: “I’m so heartbroken and gutted that his weight is just going up. I just googled it in stones, 188kg is just a few kg of being 30 stone. It’s so life-threatening now, I’m still waiting for the doctors to get back to me starting on the mounjaro and his journey to a healthy life.”

She continued: “It’s so sad his quality of life at the moment where he’s so big, he just can’t really do much. It’s just another thing I have to deal with because he’s at high risk of having a heart attack, he struggles to put his trainers or struggles to walk anywhere but I love him and I’m going to help him through this.”

And she added: “So sad, obesity and his condition is sad, it’s sad to see someone go through it and he doesn’t understand.” Earlier this year, Katie revealed that she had turned to weight loss jabs in an effort to help Harvey control his weight. She has reference the drug Mounjaro – which contains an ingredient called tirzepatide which has been known to help suppress appetite.

Katie previously told The Sun of Harvey’s weight and health issues: “The good thing about starting him on the drug is, if it has any effect, you can stop it because you do it weekly.

“We’ve tried food, he’s had ­dietitians, it’s just the way he is. And he’s on a lot of medication which the drug won’t affect. They want to try him on it for at least one or two years, which is a long time, but they’ll control what level he needs then up it as they assess it.”

Harry Potter star Miriam Margolyes has given a heart-rending update on her health, revealing her fear that she might not have much time left. The 84-year-old actress, known for her role as Professor Sprout in the magical franchise, opened up about her health concerns during an interview with The Times.

She confessed: “When you know that you haven’t got long to live – and I’m probably going to die within the next five or six years, if not before, I’m loath to leave behind performing. It’s such a joy. I yearn to play roles that don’t confine me to wheelchairs, but I’m just not strong enough.”

Despite her vibrant career, the Oxford-born actress has faced several health challenges over the years, including spinal stenosis, arthritis, and rheumatism. In 2023, she underwent a procedure to replace an aortic valve, avoiding more invasive open-heart surgery.

Jokingly, she said on Jessie and Lennie Ware’s Table Manners podcast: “I’ve got a cow’s heart now,” further explaining, “Well, not the whole heart. I’ve had an aortic valve replaced by a cow’s aortic valve. I don’t know how common it is. I’d never heard of that operation. But it saves you from having open heart surgery, which would be infinitely more invasive.”

Although the surgery was a success, Miriam admitted she still endures pain and physical limitations. She has previously stated she is registered as disabled and relies on sticks, a walker, and a mobility scooter to aid her movement.

Miriam candidly discussed her health challenges and her status as registered disabled, confessing to Closer magazine that she struggles with mobility: “I can’t walk very well, and I’m registered disabled. I use all kinds of assistance. I’ve got two sticks and a walker and they’re such a bore, but I’ve just got a mobility scooter, which is a lot of fun.”

The esteemed actress has never shied away from speaking openly about her health issues, even hinting that her performances at the Edinburgh Fringe may be behind her due to pain and mobility constraints.

Offering an intimate glimpse into her struggle during a chat with Metro, she divulged: “I’m often in pain… bodily conditions make life difficult, so it’s unlikely I will do it again. But I love connecting with an audience, and I love sharing my knowledge and love of Dickens.”

Margolyes hasn’t kept her concerns over future care needs secret either, voicing apprehensions to Radio Times about affording adequate carers.

She further expanded on her thoughts while visiting Loose Women, where she admitted: “One day I will need carers. I want to be comfortable and I want them to be properly paid for. It is really because I want to make money though and they pay me to do it.”

ITV’s daytime schedule will see some changes next year

ITV announces major changes to daytime shows, including Loose Women

Earlier this week, ITV announced some major changes to its daytime shows that will take effect from January 2026.

It was revealed that from January, Lorraine Kelly’s self-titled show will be cut down from an hour to 30 minutes. Not only this, but it will only air on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks of the year.

Good Morning Britain will be 30 minutes longer, airing from 6am until 9.30am.

Meanwhile, Loose Women will also be airing on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks per year. This means that 100 fewer episodes of the show will air each year.

“Daytime is a really important part of what we do. And these scheduling and production changes will enable us to continue to deliver a schedule providing viewers with the news, debate and discussion they love from the presenters they know and trust. As well generating savings which will allow us to reinvest across the programme budget in other genres,” Kevin Lygo, Managing Director of ITV’s Media and Entertainment Division said.

Loose Women’s anger at This Morning

This Morning seemingly wasn’t majorly impacted by the changes, something that the staff at Loose Women are reportedly unhappy about.

According to The Sun, the cast were “kept in the dark” about the upcoming changes. Some of the more experienced cast members are also now said to be concerned that they will be “scrambling” for shifts, whilst younger, “PR friendly” cast members such as Frankie Bridge, GK Barry and Olivia Attwood get booked.

“The tension is unbearable. There’s a lot of rage towards This Morning, which everyone feels is constantly favoured despite it being the lame duck of the daytime flock. The infighting is a feverish time-bomb which executives are desperate to defuse. ITV Daytime could combust from the inside out at this rate,” a source at ITV alleged to the publication.

Loose Women cast concerned for their jobs after ITV cuts

The source then continued: “Execs have also proudly proclaimed how the youngsters have brought with them a much-needed new audience — and now all of a sudden the older panellists feel like they are going to have to fight for their places against these shiny teachers’ pets. It’s now five months or so for them to prove their worth and sing for their supper,” they claimed.

A source on Lorraine reportedly told The Sun that “everyone” is “furious” that This Morning has avoided any cuts. This is despite numerous negative headlines about the show over the last couple of years. Additionally, viewing figures have reportedly been falling.

A source close to Lorraine has reportedly claimed that the show’s star has “welcomed” the cuts to her show, as it means she can spend more time with her family.

“Lorraine’s only concern is if the standard of the show drops through losing key members of the team — which I suppose is a concern across the board. But with the Loose Women now all forced to spend every shift effectively auditioning for their own role, it’ll surely affect how bold, feisty and loose they’re prepared to be,” the source added.
