Brooklyn Beckham ‘dying inside’ despite telling Nicola Peltz he’ll ‘always choose her’

Despite not commenting on his family’s feued directly, Brooklyn made it very clear whose side he was on with his recent Instagram post.

Telling his wife he would ‘always choose her’, he shared a snap of the couple on a motorbike with the caption: “My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person I know xx me and you forever baby.”

Nicola responded writing: “I’ve always got you baby,” accompanied by a burning love heart emoji. However, an insider believes that Brooklyn’s post was ‘out of character’ and maybe masterminded by Nicola.

“Brooklyn is now being referred to as “the hostage”. He is in a situation where those who love Brooklyn fear that he is being controlled by Nicola and it is heartbreaking,” they told the Mail.

“Videos like this are just not what he does. He will be dying inside.

“He’s soppy and he’s a romantic but that video just isn’t him. He hates all of that stuff so you have to wonder if Nicola was behind it.”

In his tribute, Brooklyn – who has a whopping 70 tattoos of Nicola and her family – posted two photos showing him hugging Naunni writing: “Can’t believe it’s been a year without you naunni x you were always so happy and always made me laugh.”

He added: “It makes me so sad to think of our future kids not being able to know you x you were one of a kind and we miss you everyday.”

However, the wannabe chef was told to think about his own family as well by fuming fans after missing David’s milestone birthday.

‘Never goes to family events anymore’

Fans thought Brooklyn’s no-show at David’s 50th was a first for the self-confessed “nutter in the kitchen”. However, reports suggest Brooklyn regularly misses family events since he married Nicola.

A source told Page Six that Brooklyn and Nicola “never go to [Beckham] family events anymore” and have avoided visiting David and Victoria. However, Nicola’s team say she used to be the one to encourage Brooklyn to see his family.

Victoria used to post snaps of Romeo, Cruz and Harper at family functions telling ‘Buster’ he was missed. David also told his son he missed him when Brooklyn failed to attend a fishing trip for the former footballer with Romeo and Cruz.

Brooklyn also failed to meet up with dad David when the pair in London recently. However, Nicola, who was also part of the photo shoot shared snaps of herself modelling Moncler clothes from a swanky hotel room.

The couple also had dinner with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in California, which reportedly left David and Victoria “blindsided” and “furious”.

One insider claimed Meghan and Nicola had a “heart-to-heart” and bonded over being accused by critics of “tearing apart their husbands’ families.” However, Brooklyn has made it clear he’s Team Nicola as the family feud rumbles on.

Jamie Oliver turns 50 today (May 27), with the celebrity chef’s wife Jools sending him a sweet birthday message on Instagram to mark the occasion.

Alongside a photo montage showing Jamie Oliver in multiple family snaps, she wrote: “Happy birthday my absolute LEGEND we love you SO much xxx and cannot wait to celebrate you today 50 WOW we are so proud of everything you have achieved so far you are wonderful xxxx love you.”

Later this week, Mel B is another star to turn 50. She’ll hit her half-century on Thursday (May 29), joining her former Spice Girls bandmates Victoria Beckham, Mel C and Geri Halliwell in their fifties.

She told US Weekly in a recent interview that she’s not the biggest fan of her birthday because her dad’s birthday was the day before and he sadly died in 2017. “I’m not really a party person,” she explained. “I can celebrate, but I always feel like there’s so much pressure for you to be happy on that day.”

About her fifties, she said: “I’m getting to know myself more and more. I’ve really had to work on that. And, I’m going to be working on that for the rest of my life. I’m ever-evolving. I like myself. So 50, even though it’s a big thing, I’m like, bring it on.”

One of the biggest names in Hollywood, Angelina Jolie will be turning 50 on June 4. Last year, she told IndieWire that at the age of 49 she feels “like an older woman now and I embrace that”. She added: “When I was younger, there were certain pieces of music and certain sounds that matched what I was feeling: I was falling in love, or I was curious about this, or whatever I was going through.”

In 2021, she told British Vogue that she likes ageing and is happy to enter her fifties. “Maybe because my mum didn’t live very long, so there’s something about age that feels like a victory instead of a sadness for me,” she explained. Her mum, Marcheline Bertrand, died aged 56 from cancer in 2007.

Liz Hurley is set to turn 60 on June 10, and told Hello! earlier this month that her boyfriend, Billy Ray Cyrus, will be flying into the UK to celebrate the milestone birthday with her.

“He should be in England for my birthday. He’ll be meeting my family – and my dogs – and hopefully, it’ll be lovely.”

Speaking with the Daily Star in March, the actress and model said that she believes “life gets better with age” as she reflected upon her 30-year friendship with Sir Elton John. “I just feel that as you become more confident, you really know your friendships,” she said.

On July 7, Talk presenter Jeremy turns 60. The broadcaster is best known for ITV’s The Jeremy Kyle Show, which ran from 2005 to 2019, when it was cancelled following the suicide of a guest, Steve Dymond, whose appearance had been filmed the previous week.

A coroner exonerated the show as the cause of or as a contributory factor in Dymond’s suicide last year, finding “no causal link” between them.

Following the news, Jeremy told OK! in December about his milestone birthday: “I’m 60 next year and life feels like it’s starting again. Now we need to look ahead. I don’t want this to be my legacy – I want my legacy to be that I’m a great dad.”

Helen is turning 80 on July 26, and before becoming an octogenarian has been working with Age UK to promote the importance of forming healthy lifestyle habits. She said that she’s been making “little changes” to her lifestyle as she’s aged, with an attitude of embracing ageing as well as regular exercise.

“Whatever you may think about ageing, it’s something we must all try to embrace rather than fear,” she said. “It’s no secret that for many, getting older will come with its complications – specifically there will likely be aches and pains along the way, getting out and about and living as independently as we’re used to in our younger years may not be as easy to do.”

Britain’s most iconic presenting duo both turn 50 this year. It’s Declan Donnelly who hits the milestone first, on September 25, before Anthony McPartlin joins the club on November 18.

They’ve come a long way since their days on the Byker Grove set as teenagers, though they have slightly differing viewpoints about turning 50. “I’m alright with it,” Ant told Metro in January. “I’m pleased I’m still around and we’re still enjoying what we do, and have lovely families and loving kids – I’m very grateful.”

Dec ‘winced’ at the idea of turning 50, and said: “I had a bit of a mini-meltdown turning 30, and then I was better turning 40. I remember waking up on my 30th birthday and going: ‘Oh, I’m exactly the same. Nothing’s changed.’ So I was much more accepting of turning 40 and then 50 I’m, like, whatever.”

Kate will be 50 on October 5, but the actress won’t be throwing any massive celebrations for the milestone birthday. She told Harper’s Bazaar last August that she’s not really a fan of big parties or surprises, and added: “I want to spend the year doing 50 remarkable things, whether that’s a particular hike I’ve never done, or a place I’ve never been, acts of kindness – I’m gathering a little list.”

In 2022, when she was 47, she discussed ageing on the BBC’s Woman’s Hour podcast. “I’m 47, there are bits that don’t do what you want them to do any more,” she said. “There’s something kind of fab about going: ‘Oh well, that’s just the way it is, isn’t it?’”

On October 14, Steve turns 60. The comedian and actor, best known for playing the socially inept broadcaster Alan Partridge, has joked in the past that as he’s got older he’s become more like his character.

He told The Telegraph last month that he feels relaxed about turning 60 later this year, explaining: “It’s weird, when I started out I was 22 and everyone said, ‘God, you’re so young. Then one day they stopped saying it. If I go to east London and eat I know pretty much anywhere I go I’ll be the oldest person in the room.

“But I live in Lewes. One of the most gratifying things was that when they had the Covid vaccine I was one of the last ones to get it, because I was one of the youngest people in Lewes.”

On October 24, former footballer Wayne Rooney turns 40. The Manchester United icon, who has kept himself busy as a football manager and pundit since he retired from playing in 2021, and is set to celebrate the milestone birthday with wife Coleen – who will be 40 next April – and their four sons.

Wayne hasn’t spoken about turning 40 yet, but has said previously about ageing: “I’m not really that bothered by appearance. I know a few players who go off doing stuff in the mirror ages before they go out to play a game. But I’m not really interested in that. As you get older you play in more important games and that is when you start thinking about what will happen if you win or lose.”

This Morning presenters face backlash

Last week, because this week is half term, regular This Morning presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley announced they’d be taking time out. In their place, Alison and Paddy would present the show for three days. The other two, meanwhile, would see Rochelle Humes and Craig Doyle present.

And day one of the shakeup perhaps didn’t go as well as ITV might’ve hoped.

Less than 10 minutes into the show and already complaints were being made – first due to Chris Hughes’ romance with JoJo Siwa hijacking a segment on a 90 year old who runs an animal sanctuary.

Once viewers had recovered from that, Paddy and Alison came in for a verbal bashing.

‘Can’t think of two worse hosts’

“The presenter barrel has been scraped today,” complained one viewer. “Can’t think of two worse hosts. It’s almost insulting. Thick as two short planks. Goodbye,” said another.

“Can’t be listening to these two,” said another as they switched off. “Paddy McGuinness? No thanks,” said another. “Switch off,” another complained.

‘You were born to present daytime’

Not everyone felt the same, though. Some thought Paddy and Alison were great together.

“Loved you two together. Paddy made me laugh so much,” said one. “Hilarious. You two are the best,” said another fan.

“Loved it. Can’t wait for tomorrow,” said another. “You were born to present daytime, Paddy. See you tomorrow!” said another

Katie Piper revealed she was ‘entering a new era’ on Wednesday after travelling to Germany for pioneering cosmetic treatment on her defective eye.

The TV presenter was left with devastating facial injuries in 2008 following a sulphuric acid attack orchestrated by former boyfriend Daniel Lynch and carried out by his accomplice Stefan Sylvestre.

She has since undergone numerous painstaking surgical procedures, including treatment to break down her extensive scar tissue and reduce skin contraction.

Travelling to Hamburg for her latest, Piper, 41, visited the Institute for Artificial Eyes – a new, family owned business devoted to the provision of glass and plastic eye prostheses.

Taking to Instagram, the presenter – who was accompanied by husband Richard Sutton – shared a highlights reels of her trip, including before and after shots of her eye, both with and without its glass prosthesis.

Evidently delighted with the results, Piper praised the clinic and its pioneering work in an Instagram post, with the accompanying caption: ‘Entering a new era. Feeling empowered by the delicate and meticulous work by The Weinder Brothers on my new glass prosthetic eye shell.’

According to its website, the Weinder owned clinic endeavours to ‘restore facial harmony’ and aid the patient’s patient’s ‘physical and psychological rehabilitation’ by crafting and fitting each prosthesis based on the individual’s wants and needs.

Piper’s recent trip to Hamburg comes after she admitted to giving up her dream of having a third child because of an emergency operation.

The presenter claimed said spending time jailed mums in New Orleans Parish Prison while filming TV show Locked Up made her want to try for a third baby, after hearing heartbreaking stories from lags who were missing their children.

She told The Mirror: ‘It started to make me think, ‘This is my last chance to have another baby, I’m going to be 40. And if I don’t do it now, I never will.’

Piper had to go under general anaesthetic for the operation on her left eye – which was damaged in a horrific acid attack in 2008, orchestrated by a man she briefly dated.

‘I had to have a general anaesthetic and you can’t be trying for a baby and also be having unexpected surgeries,’ she explained.

‘So that scuppered that and we had a break. We tried again, but it just didn’t happen.’

However, she still felt something was missing, so, started volunteering at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, where she adopted a puppy.

She began volunteering and dog walking while still trying for a baby, and the decision to get a dog came naturally.

She added that her friend Alison helped her to pick the right dog for her family – a female half cockapoo puppy called Sugar with a calm temperament.

Piper’s life was changed forever when she was attacked with acid aged just 24 back in 2008 her ex-boyfriend Daniel Lynch and accomplice Stefan Sylvestre in 2008.

The presenter, who had been dating Daniel for just two weeks, was brutally raped by the steroid-fuelled martial arts expert in a hotel room when she tried to leave their relationship in March that year.

She is a mother to two daughters – Belle, 11, and Penelope, seven – with husband Richard, who she married in 2015.

Victoria and David Beckham are reportedly hoping that their youngest child, Harper Seven, can help with the ongoing family feud with Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz. Brooklyn, who recently said he would ‘always choose Nicola’, has been hitting headlines in recent months as he distanced himself from his family.

The family have remained silent about the feud, but recent developments have highlighted the strained relationships, including Brooklyn’s absence from his father’s high-profile 50th birthday celebrations last month. A source close to the couple said that Nicola has succeeded in finally helping Brooklyn “see the emotional abuse and toxic behaviour within his family”.

The Beckhams are said to be particularly affected by the impact this divide may have on Harper, who has long shared a close relationship with both Brooklyn and Nicola.

Peltz frequently referred to Harper as “my younger sister” in affectionate posts on Instagram, sharing numerous pictures and praising the teen.

Last week, the rift seemed to have gotten worse when Brooklyn shared a post reaffirming his commitment to Nicola.

“I always choose you baby, you’re the most amazing person in the world, me and you forever baby,” he wrote on Instagram, in what many interpreted as a message of allegiance to his wife.

Shortly afterwards, Brooklyn’s younger brother Cruz, 20, appeared to signal support for their parents.

Italian chef Gino D’Acampo was axed by ITV after accusations of ‘unacceptable’ behaviour, which he has denied – and has returned to public life with a racy radio interview

Former ITV chef Gino D’Acampo has been caught making sexualised comments about women’s bodies during a radio appearance on Vibe FM in Malta. The Italian star told show hosts that a “real man” wants women to have “things to grab”, while explaining that he prefers a curvier figure.

This was one of his first public engagements since he was axed by ITV this February after the broadcaster received complaints about his “unacceptable” treatment of staff he had worked alongside for over 12 years. D’Acampo has denied all the allegations, calling them “deeply upsetting”. During the live radio segment, one of the presenters mentioned she often goes on diets.

D’Acampo has been absent from UK television since February, when he was dropped from ITV programming following allegations of inappropriate behaviour dating back more than a decade. D’Acampo has denied all claims, but the broadcaster confirmed it had no future plans to work with him.

The allegations, which were first revealed by ITV News, reportedly involve over 40 individuals and relate to D’Acampo’s time on shows like This Morning and Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Road Trip. One of the most recent complaints was said to have been made in 2023.

ITV News Reporter Sejal Karia and senior producer Liz Little said that several former staff described his alleged actions as “aggressive and abusive”, but many were hesitant to speak out publicly for fear of losing work.

Despite the serious nature of the claims, D’Acampo has recently started to re-emerge as a public figure. Earlier this month, he posted behind-the-scenes photos from a new acting project in Ireland, sparking speculation that he’s attempting to pivot into drama.

Stacey Solomon was left a bit nervous after a cheeky comment from a grateful mum on this week’s episode of Sort Your Life Out. The presenter, 35, returned to the BBC tonight (May 27) with her popular decluttering show. In it she and her team help families transform their homes by tackling the objects they have allowed to pile up head-on.

This week’s episode took Stacey and her team of experts to Hull, where they met parents Tim and Daniela and their two daughters, Leonora, 11, and Veronica, seven. Tim and Daniela had saved for years to put down a deposit on their house, but after being made redundant in 2017, renovations came to a quick stop.

Thanks to their limited finances and the difficulties that come with raising two growing kids in a small space, clutter had taken over every corner of the home.

Before the clean-up crew even got through the front door, Stacey was left stunned by the sheer amount of stuff the family had accumulated. “Oh my God, I can’t actually open it,” she gasped. “You can’t get through this door — this has never happened!”

After Robert Bent, Iwan Carrington, and Dilly Carter finally managed to enter the property through the back door, they were met with rooms overflowing with piles of possessions and an overwhelmed family. Daniela became emotional as she opened up about the toll the past few years had taken on her family.

She tearfully shared: “The lack of finances has definitely stopped us achieving what we want from this home.” Stacey rushed over to give her a hug, saying: “I’m going to give you a cuddle because I can see that it is upsetting you.”

After a massive clear out, where the team discovered 801 CDs, 135 cuddly toys, and an eye-watering 412 out-of-date food items, the BBC helpers laid out the family’s belongings in a warehouse to help them decide what to keep.

Both the parents and kids were tasked with going through all of their belongings and giving what they felt they could part ways with to charity, or putting it in a pile to be recycled.

While they completed that process, Stacey’s team worked on building storage units for the house and doing some refurbishments that would transform the home so it was actually liveable. This included a stunning bedroom which Daniela and Tim could unwind in – without having to literally jump over piles of rubbish to get to the bed.

It was this new bedroom that sparked the hilarious interaction between Stacey and Daniela at the end of the show. The mum was overcome by joy after seeing the new space, and exclaimed: “Every night when I go to bed I’ll be thinking about you now, Stacey!”

Stacey seemed flattered but also caught off guard by the comment, and laughingly replied: “No one’s ever said that to me before. I don’t know if I’m flattered or a little bit scared!”

Harry Potter’s executive producers Francesca Gardiner and Mark Mylod said in a statement that they are “delighted” to announce the show’s new stars after an “extraordinary search”, which began back in September last year.

“The talent of these three unique actors is wonderful to behold, and we cannot wait for the world to witness their magic together onscreen,” they said.

“We would like to thank all the tens of thousands of children who auditioned. It’s been a real pleasure to discover the plethora of young talent out there.”

For weeks, rumours have been spreading that Aaron’s ex husband, and John’s brother, Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) would be making his return to the soap. The character was last seen in the soap in 2019 after being written out of the show in an “explosive” storyline involving the death of Lee Posner, his sister Victoria’s rapist.

The character was sentenced to 14 years in jail, but as we know, anything can happen in soap land. Could he be released from jail early? Theories have been flying around, and now Danny seemingly confirmed his return while being grilled by the Loose Women.

Denise Welch wasn’t letting Danny go without speaking about the rumours, as she asked the actor: “Is there likely to be a RobRon rerun?”

A nervous Danny chuckled: “It’s so weird, the line’s just gone down as you’ve asked that question,” as the whole studio burst into laughter. Although he wasn’t giving too much away, Danny assured Emmerdale fans they can expect many surprises during the week.

“What I will say is there are some surprises, whether that happens or not, I don’t know. But certainly what I can say is that originally when this idea was pitched and thought about, Robert, whoever that is, wasn’t part of the plan.”

Danny then laughed: “I can’t remember.” However, nothing was getting past Janet Street-Porter, as she responded: “It’s obvious! This storyline is so complicated your getting confused yourself.”
