Bombshell Reports Spark Fears of UNTOLD Struggles Behind Palace Walls as Meghan Markle’s Bizarre ‘Swing’ Photo and $28 Jam Flops Ignite Another Sussex Scandal – Is the Royal Family Hiding a Deeper Crisis?!”

London, UK – The meticulously choreographed world of the Royal Family has been plunged into utter chaos and panic after the Princess of Wales, our beloved Kate, sensationally pulled out of Royal Ascot at the eleventh hour! Whispers of a terrifying health scare, reminiscent of last year’s dark days, have gripped palace insiders, leaving staff “bewildered and worried.” Is this merely exhaustion from a demanding schedule, or a chilling sign that Kate’s courageous cancer battle is far from over?

ROYALS IN SHOCK! KING CHARLES BREAKS SILENCE AFTER KATE MIDDLETON'S "PANIC" ROCKS THE PALACE!

The drama unfolded with breathtaking speed. Just an hour before she was due to ride in the iconic carriage procession with the King and Queen, the Palace issued no official explanation for Kate’s sudden absence. But The Daily Beast, citing well-placed royal insiders, paints a picture of frantic disarray behind the gilded walls of Kensington Palace. “There was a real sense of panic at the palace,” a royal source told Tom Sykes, European editor at large at The Daily Beast. The bombshell announcement, coming after an official carriage list already featured Kate’s name, sent shockwaves through the royal household.

“Everyone was wandering around going, ‘What is going on? One minute she was going and the next she wasn’t,’” a former courtier, still with close palace links, revealed. This isn’t just a minor blip; missing Ascot, one of the biggest days in the royal calendar, “you don’t just miss Ascot on a whim!” The “chaotic nature of the announcement was eerily reminiscent of the dark days of last year,” when the public was kept in the dark about Kate’s initial health struggles.

And then came the terrifying rumours: “that the future queen had been taken unwell and either needed to see a doctor or had been rushed to the hospital.” While Kate’s office remained tight-lipped, a friend of the Princess attempted to quell the fears, claiming Kate was “basically exhausted after Trooping the Colour on Saturday and Garter Day on Monday and couldn’t face it.” They added, chillingly, “There are good days and bad days as she has herself very candidly said.”

But this seemingly innocuous explanation only fuels the fire of speculation. The Daily Telegraph, usually a bastion of royal loyalty, dropped a veiled hint of deeper trouble, reporting that Kate’s “appearance recently so healthy has belied how difficult things were last year and how hard the fight to return to normality has been.”

Breaking News: Kensington Palace's URGENT Statement On Catherine's Health During Royal Ascot - YouTube

For royal expert Dan Wootton, who has meticulously reported on Kate’s health journey, this latest development is deeply concerning. “For a long time, Catherine was wondering whether she was even going to be able to return to full-time duties at all,” Wootton revealed. “Her health significantly suffered. And many of the stomach issues… which were the real reason why the cancer was first detected, they’re ongoing and they cause her a lot of difficulty and a lot of pain.”

This isn’t about invasive prying; it’s about transparency. As Wootton powerfully stated, remembering the vile lies spread about Kate and William last year by the “Sussex Squad” and “American mainstream media,” it’s crucial to acknowledge the underlying reality. “Things aren’t bad, but they’re still difficult.”

Richard Eden in the Daily Mail echoed the widespread intrigue, questioning “What Palace Insiders tell me about Kate’s sudden absence from Ascot as intrigue deepens over friends’ detail everyone’s missed.” Even among the Ascot elite, sipping champagne in the exclusive Royal Enclosure, the only topic of conversation was Kate’s ghost-like absence.

The Princess and Prince William had even invited their closest friends to join them, including Thomas Van Straubenzee, Princess Charlotte’s godfather, and James Meade, William’s lifelong friend from Eton. Their presence underscored the significance of the occasion for the couple, making Kate’s no-show all the more baffling.

One friend offered a glimpse into Kate’s ongoing struggles: “Catherine knows she should not overdo things. She is grateful that her recovery has gone well, but things have not been plain sailing.” This echoes the Princess’s own brave words about her “long” recovery journey.

Angela Levin, royal mastermind, weighed in on the palace’s slow response time: “The Royal Family’s aids are very bad at being able to answer things quickly. They like to discuss it, they like to take a long time. So that means to me that it was a sudden problem. It wasn’t something that yesterday or the day before… this was something that they hadn’t expected and that’s why they were panicking.”

TEARS FLOW! Princess Catherine's Health Latest News Update After Her Radiant Return In June

Levin also highlighted the scorching heat in the UK, a factor that can “really tear you apart” when battling health issues. While Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton, looked “relaxed” at Ascot, a reassuring sign, Wootton noted William looked “pensive” earlier in the day, only relaxing once he was with his “mates” and had “a beer in him.” These tiny glimpses behind the carefully constructed façade hint at the immense stress the couple is enduring.

This last-minute withdrawal has chilling echoes of past royal health crises. Wootton pointed to Prince William’s sudden pull-out from King Constantine of Greece’s memorial service last year. At the time, it was speculated to be related to the tragic death of Thomas Kingston. But, as Wootton revealed, William had, in fact, just received the devastating news of Kate’s cancer diagnosis. This serves as a stark reminder that the Royal Family, despite their right to privacy, often isn’t “honest when it comes to health matters.”

Meanwhile, across the pond, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, is once again making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Just as Kate bravely navigates her health and attempts a return to royal duties, Meghan is embroiled in a fresh wave of public ridicule. While People magazine astonishingly declared “Kate’s Summer of Strength,” signalling a “major shift” away from Meghan, the Duchess of Montecito seemingly launched a bizarre new publicity blitz that left royal watchers utterly bewildered.

Her latest gambit? A baffling photograph of Meghan swinging on a swing, an image that immediately drew comparisons to Princess Charlotte’s innocent childhood antics. “Identity crisis! Thy name is Meghan Markle!” scoffed The Royal News Network. “It’s hard to sell whimsy when Megan is not a whimsical person nor has she ever displayed any of those attributes.” Angela Levin didn’t hold back: “Complete rubbish… she’s trying to imitate Kate and she’s trying to imitate Princess Charlotte… she’s saying, ‘Everything they can do, I can do better,’ but she’s completely and utterly wrong.”

The public, it seems, has had enough. “I was in the fish shop today,” Levin recounted, “and he’s seen me, he’s seen me and you lots of times, and he said, ‘Ah, that woman, that woman, oh, why doesn’t he get rid of her?’” The anger, the frustration, it’s palpable even in the aisles of a fish shop!

And what, pray tell, is Meghan’s latest “brand” offering from her much-hyped Archewell venture? For a cool $14, you can now get Meghan’s apricot spread! And if that doesn’t entice you, there’s a “limited edition orange blossom honey” for a staggering $28! As Levin succinctly put it: “Is this going to save Archewell? No.”

The previous claims of a “sold out” raspberry jam are now being branded as “lies” by Levin. “I was told originally that only 10 pots of jam had been sold,” she shockingly revealed. This all points to a desperate, manufactured hype that is failing to convince anyone.

The irony is not lost on anyone that Meghan, who previously declared she wouldn’t work until 2026, is now flogging condiments and, unbelievably, a “debut Napa Valley Rosé” wine! While Wootton quipped that wine might be the one product that “makes the most sense for Megan because I’ve always thought she does love her drink,” the overall impression is one of a flailing brand desperately grasping at straws.

Levin also slammed Meghan’s continued “obsess[ion]” with Instagram, calling it “almost like an illness.” She believes Meghan is using it to “upset the Royal Family” and be “more and more difficult to them.” From the “twerking” to other potential “gymnastic things,” Levin fears Meghan is “determined to make life hell for them.”

As Kate battles her ongoing health challenges with quiet dignity and unwavering public support, Meghan’s increasingly desperate attempts to remain in the spotlight are met with growing disdain. The stark contrast couldn’t be clearer. While one Princess faces a genuine fight for her health, the other is seemingly fighting a losing battle for public affection, one bizarre social media post and overpriced condiment at a time. The royal soap opera continues, but for Kate, the stakes are undeniably higher.

Whispers of ‘Crass’ Sex Jibes and Humiliating Theft Accusations Against Junior Staff Rock Broadcasting House as Experts Demand Answers: Are BBC’s Double Standards a NATIONAL Scandal, Leaving Male Presenters to Crumble While ‘Protected Species’ Reign Supreme?”

“BBC’S BULGING ‘BULLY’ BOMBSHELL: Naga Munchetty EXPLODES in Shocking Sun Exposé – Is the Corporation Protecting Their ‘Untouchable’ Star Due to Race and Gender? Whispers of ‘Crass’ Sex Jibes and Humiliating Theft Accusations Against Junior Staff Rock Broadcasting House as Experts Demand Answers: Are BBC’s Double Standards a NATIONAL Scandal, Leaving Male Presenters to Crumble While ‘Protected Species’ Reign Supreme?”

London, UK – Broadcasting House is in an absolute frenzy today as a truly explosive front-page exposé in The Sun newspaper drops a bombshell that threatens to unravel the carefully curated image of one of the BBC’s biggest stars: Naga Munchetty! Accused of being the “bully of BBC Breakfast,” the allegations are so damning, so utterly jaw-dropping, they’ve ignited a furious national debate: is the BBC protecting its prized asset because she’s a woman of colour, while male stars are jettisoned at the merest whiff of controversy?

The whispers have been circulating for months, but now The Sun has sensationally laid bare a litany of truly shocking claims against the usually unflappable Munchetty. This isn’t just about a bad mood on set; we’re talking about an alleged pattern of behaviour that includes a “crass” off-air sex jibe and a humiliating, false accusation of theft against a vulnerable junior staffer!

According to The Sun’s bombshell report, Munchetty has been “hauled in by bosses” over allegations she bullied a young, impressionable staff member. But the most chilling detail? She’s said to have falsely accused this junior of stealing from her! This led to a “closed-door showdown” that a source described as “humiliating.” The staffer, reportedly, left “not long after, completely demoralised.” And if that wasn’t enough to send shivers down your spine, another insider chillingly added: “That wasn’t an isolated incident, it really is the tip of the iceberg.”

Just imagine the scene: a young, eager staffer, likely on a paltry £18,000-£20,000 a year, diligently fetching coffee and printing scripts, trying to make their way in the cutthroat world of media. And then, allegedly, facing the wrath of a multi-millionaire presenter who falsely accuses them of theft, with “no evidence, no apology.” It’s a gut-wrenching tale of power imbalance and alleged cruelty that demands immediate answers from the Beeb!

But the scandal doesn’t stop there. The Sun also reports that Munchetty was “hauled in” over an “off-air sex jibe” made during a Radio 5 Live ad break in 2022. She allegedly used a “crude slang term for a sex act” before asking a colleague if they had “done it.” The remarks reportedly “stunned the Radio 5 Live studio” and led to a reprimand from a senior producer, though, crucially, “no formal action was taken.” Sources at Five Live described the incident as “crass, inappropriate, and wildly unprofessional,” leaving the person targeted feeling “embarrassed.”

Now, this isn’t the first time the BBC has been rocked by scandal. Just last week, BBC Breakfast editor Richard Frediani took leave amidst his own separate bullying claims. And let’s not forget the recent exodus of Strictly Come Dancing stars Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima over bullying allegations, or the unceremonious departure of Welsh rugby legend Gareth Thomas from a live tour over a sexual reference to a “spit roast.” The BBC has been quick to act when men are involved, hasn’t it?

And that’s where the real fury is erupting. An anonymous “Breakfast insider” pulled no punches: “If a male presenter made a sexual comment like that or falsely accused someone of theft, he’d be out the door. But with Naga, it gets brushed off.”

The panel on Dan Wootton’s Outspoken, June Slater and Lani Ding, didn’t mince words. “Without a doubt it’s serious double standards and that’s to be expected from the BBC,” declared Lani. “She’s a minority, she’s not obviously she’s not white, and she’s female, so you know it’s how can they get rid of her?”

This sentiment strikes at the very heart of the BBC’s alleged hypocrisy. Is the corporation so desperate to tick diversity boxes that it’s willing to turn a blind eye to alleged misconduct when it comes from a “protected species”? The accusation is explosive: that the BBC operates a two-tiered system of justice, where some are untouchable, while others face career annihilation for perceived lesser transgressions.

June Slater weighed in, drawing parallels to other high-profile cases. “Lawrence Fox was… sacked for laughing at a joke for God’s sake, and it was the BBC that were leading the charge against us… but when it’s one of their own, when it’s a mixed-race female, they do not give a damn!”

The sheer audacity of these claims is staggering. The BBC, a public broadcaster funded by your licence fee, is now facing accusations of a culture so toxic, so riddled with favouritism, that it fosters an environment of fear and inequality. As June Slater eloquently put it, it must be a “dismal place to work… you must be walking on eggshells.”

The discussion then turned to Munchetty’s on-screen persona, with Wootton suggesting her personality might lend itself to being “that slightly difficult character.” The panel dissected uncomfortable moments, including a cringe-inducing “anti-ice cream rant” that left a business reporter “completely speechless,” and an equally awkward exchange with Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, where Munchetty appeared to make her “feel really uncomfortable” by suggesting Halliwell had done “research” on them.

“That is something bullies do,” Wootton asserted, his voice heavy with conviction. “That is something bullies do.”

The panel questioned the very essence of these high-paid presenters. “Who are you really?” June Slater scoffed. “You’re reading a script that probably you might have written or someone else has written, you’re delivering a narrative, you’re not even sourcing proper news, you’re dealing with mostly vanilla topics and you’re not that special.” This scathing indictment paints a picture of inflated egos and a disconnect from the realities of journalism.

While Naga Munchetty’s husband, a “very lovely man” and “big-time technical guy” who used to work at GB News, was briefly mentioned as a personal connection, the focus remained squarely on the alleged double standards at the Beeb.

The BBC’s official response? A typical non-committal statement: “While we do not comment on individual cases, we take all complaints about conduct at work extremely seriously.” A boilerplate deflection that does little to quell the raging storm of public anger and suspicion.

The question remains: will the BBC finally take decisive action against Naga Munchetty, or will these damning allegations be swept under the carpet, further solidifying the perception that some stars are simply too “protected” to face the consequences of their alleged actions?

The eyes of the nation are now firmly fixed on Broadcasting House. The public demands transparency, accountability, and an end to what many perceive as a culture of “double standards” that undermines the very principles of fairness and integrity. This isn’t just about one presenter; it’s about the soul of a national institution. And if these allegations are proven true, the BBC will have a monumental task on its hands to restore public trust. The clock is ticking, and the pressure is mounting. The truth, as they say, always comes out.

Friendship or Betrayal? The Agonising Dilemma Rocking Our Closest Circles – When Your Best Mate’s Marriage is Crashing, Do YOU Deliver the Heartbreak or Watch the Train Wreck Unfold? Unpacking the Loose Women’s Explosive Debate on Loyalty, Lies, and the Perilous Price of Being the Messenger in a Partner’s Secret Plan to Abandon Their Spouse – Is Silence Golden or Simply Spineless When Love is on the Line and Lives Are About to Shatter?

London, UK – It’s the bombshell question that’s torn friendships apart, ignited fiery debates across dinner tables, and now, thanks to the latest Netflix smash hit, “Four Seasons,” it’s set to become the hottest, most heart-wrenching moral conundrum of the year: If you know your friend’s partner is secretly planning to leave them, do you tell? The Loose Women panel, never one to shy away from life’s stickiest wickets, plunged headfirst into this emotional minefield, and their raw, unflinching honesty has sent shockwaves through the nation.

Imagine the scene. A tight-knit group of friends, forged in the fires of university days, their lives intertwined, their histories shared. They’re more than just friends; they’re family. Three couples, navigating the complexities of adulthood, their bonds seemingly unbreakable. Then, a whispered confession. One husband, a long-time friend to them all, is secretly plotting his escape from his wife. The revelation hangs heavy in the air, a ticking time bomb threatening to obliterate not just a marriage, but the very fabric of their friendship circle.

This isn’t just a plot point in a TV show; it’s a living, breathing nightmare many of us have faced, or might one day confront. And the Loose Women, with their trademark blend of empathy and no-nonsense pragmatism, laid bare the terrifying implications of such a choice.

The immediate, gut reaction for many might be to rush to the aid of the unsuspecting friend. To warn them, to protect them from the impending devastation. But as the panellists so eloquently articulated, the path to hell is often paved with good intentions, especially when it comes to the volatile landscape of other people’s relationships.

Divorce Dilemma: Do You Tell a Friend Their Partner Wants Out? | Loose Women

One Loose Woman recounted a truly harrowing experience from years gone by. She, with the best of intentions, informed a female friend that her partner was cheating. The result? A catastrophic backfire. “It was a huge mistake,” she confessed, her voice laced with the lingering sting of regret. “Because they shot the messenger.” The couple, against all odds, reconciled, leaving our well-meaning friend ostracised, branded as the villain who tried to “ruin” their relationship. Ouch. The sheer agony of being branded the antagonist when all you wanted to do was help is a cautionary tale for the ages. It highlights the brutal reality that sometimes, in our attempts to prevent pain, we end up inflicting it upon ourselves, becoming collateral damage in someone else’s emotional war.

The panellist’s raw honesty resonated deeply. Who hasn’t, at some point, tried to intervene in a friend’s relationship drama, only to find themselves caught in the crossfire? The temptation to play hero, to swoop in and deliver the “truth,” can be overwhelming. But what if that truth, no matter how well-intentioned, ultimately serves to shatter not only the couple, but also the delicate ecosystem of your shared friendships?

Another Loose Woman offered a different perspective, one born from personal experience of being the one to leave. “When I’ve been going to leave someone,” she revealed, “I didn’t tell anyone at all.” Her decision to keep her marital struggles private, even from her closest confidantes, speaks volumes about the intensely personal and often private nature of relationship breakdowns. When she eventually did separate, after confessing to an affair herself, her friends, who had genuinely liked her partner, were “appalled at my behaviour.” Yet, remarkably, the friendships endured. “We all carried on being friends,” she shared, “and there was about a three-month period of rockiness, and then we kind of worked it out.” This extraordinary outcome, where the friendships outlasted the marital upheaval, underscores the idea that sometimes, the less external interference, the better. Perhaps allowing people the space to navigate their own storms, however messy, can ultimately preserve the wider network of relationships.

Divorce Dilemma: Do You Tell a Friend Their Partner Wants Out? | Loose Women - YouTube

The core of the dilemma, as pointed out, lies in the potential for a lose-lose scenario. If you tell, you risk being “shot the messenger,” alienating your friend, and potentially losing their trust. If you don’t tell, and your friend later discovers you knew, you risk being branded a spineless enabler, a silent co-conspirator in their heartbreak. It’s a tightrope walk across a chasm of emotional devastation, with no clear path to safety.

One panellist, reflecting on her younger, more “judgmental” self, admitted that in her twenties, she “probably would have run straight to my female friend, ‘This is what he’s planning to do!’” But with the wisdom of age and experience, she now understands the intricate dance of human relationships. “You learn as life goes on that relationships are very tricky, very involved,” she sagely observed. “Once you say that to your friends, they’re left with, ‘Do we tell her? Don’t we tell her?’” The burden shifts, transforming a private marital issue into a shared ethical crisis for the entire friendship group.

This brings us to the thorny issue of “confessions.” Is it fair for one partner to confide their plans to friends, effectively “sick[ing] it up” on them and leaving them to deal with the messy fallout? The panel agreed that placing such a monumental secret onto friends, forcing them into an impossible position, is an unfair burden. It’s a selfish act that prioritises the confider’s need for an outlet over the emotional well-being of their friends.

The consensus seemed to lean towards a cautious, hands-off approach, at least initially. “I honestly think I would leave it to let them work it out for themselves,” one Loose Woman firmly stated, citing her past negative experience. The fear of being the “shoot the messenger” is a powerful deterrent, a scar that teaches a painful lesson about the limits of intervention.

However, a glimmer of a middle ground emerged, a potentially ingenious solution offered by one panellist who declared, with the confidence of an agony aunt: “I would say, ‘I’ll give you this much time to tell her, or I will!’” This bold ultimatum introduces an element of personal responsibility, placing the onus back on the individual planning the departure. It offers a window of opportunity for them to confront their partner directly, while simultaneously setting a clear boundary for the friend. It’s a high-stakes gamble, but one that attempts to balance loyalty to both parties while prioritising honesty.

The discussion highlights the fundamental truth that there’s no universal “right” answer. The specifics of the friendship, the depth of the betrayal, and the personalities involved all play a crucial role. Is it a casual acquaintance, or a lifelong bond forged through shared experiences? Is the partner simply unhappy, or are they engaging in truly destructive behaviour?

Ultimately, the “Four Seasons” dilemma, so powerfully debated by the Loose Women, forces us to confront the uncomfortable truths about loyalty, discretion, and the often-painful reality that sometimes, the greatest act of friendship might be to step back and allow others to navigate their own destiny, however rocky the path may be. But it also raises a crucial question: where do we draw the line between protecting our friends and allowing them to experience the painful, but ultimately growth-inducing, realities of life? And in an era where relationships are increasingly complex, are we, as friends, becoming unwitting participants in dramas that are not our own? The debate rages on, and the answers remain as elusive as ever.

Debbie revealed dementia diagnosis to family in Coronation Street

This evening in Coronation Street, the episode opened up with Debbie freezing at Roy’s Rolls and forgetting to pay Bernie. Bernie then helped her sort out what she owed as Debbie told her to keep the change.

Later on, Debbie was busy arranging an event when she spaced out and collapsed. With Kevin, Abi and Ronnie all advising Debbie to go to the hospital, she then told them that she didn’t need to as she already knew what was wrong with her.

Kevin was hurt that Carl knew about Debbie’s dementia diagnosis and didn’t tell him about it, with Debbie telling him that he already had a lot going on and she didn’t want to worry him.

Abi then finally took a reluctant Debbie to the hospital where she was told that she’d suffered another TIA. She was now at risk of having a full stroke.

The doctor then told Debbie to wait in the waiting room while she referred her to a specialist clinic, telling her that she mustn’t drive for four weeks.

But, she then caused her family to panic when they realised that she’d disappeared and taken off with the car.

Coronation Street icon Amy Robbins, best known for her role as Christina Boyd, is making a comeback to the cobbles despite her sudden exit from the long-running programme. According to reports, the 54-year-old star, who made her first appearance on Corrie in early 2023, has already started filming.

Amy made her exit from the show as nightmare mum of Daisy Midgeley earlier this year as part of Daisy’s exit storyline. Amy played the role of Christina on and off since 2023. It was confirmed earlier this year that Charlotte Jordan, who played her on screen daughter, would leave the soap after four years, in a bid to “explore other opportunities.”

Daisy might have left, but there’s still a big storyline waiting for Christina, with fans able to expect her back on screen in August.

A source recently claimed to The Sun that Amy is filming new scenes, explaining: “Christina will be back to her usual tricks causing chaos on the cobbles. There’s going to be some incredible scenes with her and Jenny clashing.

“And this time she’s back for a long stint. She returned to filming recently and she’ll be back on screen later this summer. It’s definitely going to be explosive.”

When Charlotte left the show, she said: “My time at Coronation Street is something I’ll always cherish. After a brilliant four years for Daisy, it’s time for me to start a new chapter and explore other opportunities.”

Amy returned as “hot mess” Christina earlier this year to make sure her on-screen daughter had an exit to remember.

Despite having a turbulent relationship, Daisy reached out to her mother, insisting she needed help. For the first time, the mother and daughter worked together as a duo, and unfortunately, Daisy’s step mum Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) got the brunt of it.

Speaking of her previous return, Amy said to the Mirror at the time: “For the first time you see the two women work together. When push comes to shove, she’s relying on her flesh and blood to help her out of it.

“Christina runs to her rescue to finally get revenge on Jenny, which is what she’s always wanted to do.”

At the time, she also claimed it was her last stint on the cobbles and insisted a return for Christina was “highly unlikely” after Daisy’s departure.

The former England captain and Manchester United legend seemed completely at ease, sharing relaxed conversation and laughs with Coleen as the pair enjoyed a rare moment of downtime away from the spotlight.

In a candid moment, Wayne was seen holding a can of Snus tobacco nicotine pouches—an understated nod to one of his off-the-pitch habits. But the small detail didn’t distract from the couple’s clear connection and easygoing vibe. As music played in the background and waves lapped gently against the shore, the two looked utterly content in each other’s company.

This Ibiza holiday follows a busy year for both, with Wayne recently stepping away from his managerial role at Birmingham City, and Coleen focusing on family life and her successful brand ventures. The sunny retreat offers a welcome break for the pair, who appear to be embracing the slower pace of island life with open arms.

The sweet getaway comes as Coleen is making sure her son Kai is “protected” from fame, with the 16-year-old already having a glittering football career ahead of him. But to make sure he doesn’t make the same mistakes as his dad, Wayne, she’s reportedly making sure he keeps up with his school work.

The mum-of-four shares her sons with husband Wayne as well as Kai, they have Klay, 11, Kit, nine, and Cass, seven. But Coleen is wary of her sons being thrust into the limelight at a young age, after witnessing how fame affected Wayne, who shot to fame at the age of 16.

The couple married in 2008, when Coleen was 22, and like any relationship, have had their fair share of rocky patches. Their marriage was on the brink in 2017 when reporters discovered the ex-footballer had been pulled over behind the wheel of another woman’s car while he was three times over the drink-drive limit.

Wayne met Laura Simpson at a bar before joining her for a drive in her VW Beetle. During her Disney+ documentary, Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story, Coleen said: “I’ve had that feeling in my stomach a few times and I would never wish anyone to feel that.

“You do think, do I actually know this person, when things like that happen. Y’know, you’re not the person I married and the person I want you to be.”

But having put their troubles behind them, Coleen and Wayne are back on track – and she wants to make sure her son Kai stays on the straight and narrow. The Sun reports a source said: “Kai is already being touted as one to watch and played a big part in Man United winning the Under 15s league.

“He’s being tipped to become a first-team player within the next couple of years. But Coleen is making sure that he doesn’t rely on it and has told him he has to do his GCSEs next year and still work hard at school, as nobody knows what’s going to happen.

“She’s playing a big part in his career, though, and is making sure he’s well protected and isn’t thrust into the limelight like Wayne was at such a young age.” Both Coleen and Wayne have been supporting Kai in his football, with the pair regularly celebrating his wins on social media.

TV presenter Claudia Winkleman has revealed she has undergone eye surgery – and she can’t don her trademark heavy eyeliner for weeks as she recovers. The Strictly Come Dancing co-host was flooded with support as she shared a candid update with her fans on Friday night.

Posing next to a medical professional, Claudia, 53, looked unrecognisable without her usual heavy fake tan and smokey eye make-up as she donned a hospital gown for the picture.

Captioning the image, The Traitors host told her Instagram followers: “This amazing human makes me see. He’s operated on my eyes before and he did it again today. No eyeliner for weeks and I sleep in goggles (no words) but I’m eternally grateful.

“Do NOT zoom in on my left eye – it’s wonky. Thank you Julian. I paid for the treatment, this isn’t an ad. I just love him. It’s very possible I’m still a bit sedated. Night, night.”

Gogglebox star Izzi Warner was one of the first comment on Claudia’s post, writing: “We still have the costume and Bobby is willing to wear the eye liner for you if you need a stand in Claudia! Happy healing.”

“You look beautiful Claudia,” Drag Race UK star Baga Chipz told the TV star, with a fan adding: “He did my eye surgery about 8 years ago! Played rock music as he did it. He told me it would be life changing and he was right. Amazing man!”

Claudia’s health update comes just days on from the popular star being made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the King’s Birthday Honours.

The mum-of-three presenter was honoured on last week alongside her Strictly Come Dancing co-host, Tess Daly, for services to broadcasting. Claudia said: “I am incredibly grateful to receive this honour. It’s a real privilege to work with extraordinarily talented people and I have only got this because of them.

“So this is for the BBC, the traitors and the faithful, for pianos and for the cha cha. I will buy a hat and am taking my mum. I am ridiculously lucky and will celebrate with Tess by doing a paso doble.”

Born and raised in London, she studied history of art at Cambridge University and after graduating began her career as a TV and radio presenter, fronting a range of BBC TV shows including Comic Relief and The Great British Sewing Bee.

She also presented on BBC Radio 2 until 2024, hosting different programmes on the station including the comedy quiz series Hot Gossip, the Claudia Winkleman Arts Show and Claudia On Sunday.

In 2004, she joined BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing, presenting its weekday companion show It Takes Two until she passed it to broadcaster Zoe Ball, with her taking on the Sunday night results show alongside Tess Daly.

The presenter joined Tess for the main show every Saturday from 2014, after Sir Bruce Forsyth stepped down. The Bafta-winning presenter is also behind the hit BBC game show The Traitors and won best entertainment performance at the 2023 awards.

She will be fronting its charity spin-off series, The Celebrity Traitors, in which 19 famous faces will enter the castle in the Highlands, including comedian Alan Carr, actor and broadcaster Sir Stephen Fry and retired diver Tom Daley.

Former This Morning star Holly Willoughby has been showered with compliments after unveiling a brand-new and edgy look

Holly Willoughby has shown off an edgy new look and her fans can’t get enough of it. The former This Morning star, 44, took to Instagram on Thursday to unveil her subtle transformation as she rocked a wavy hairstyle and a pair of very out-there glasses.

The mum-of-three snapped a selfie while sitting in the car as she joked about being her children’s ‘personal party driver’. Holly captioned the snap: “Any other mums/dads of 16 year old, post GCSE children suddenly find themselves with a new role of personal party driver? Mums ‘Mini’ Cabs … and yes… I’m now a Glasses wearer… game changer.”

Holly and her husband Dan Baldwin are proud parents to son Harry, 16, daughter Belle, 12, and nine-year-old son Chester. Their eldest son Harry has just completed his GCSE’s and it seems like Holly has been roped in as his personal chauffeur after completing his exams.

After unveiling her new look, fans of Holly’s flocked to the comment section to gush over her naturally wavy hair as one commented: “Gorgeous. You look so pretty and the glasses really suit you.” Another echoed: “Wow!!! Holly you have never looked better.”

It comes after Holly’s career plans for the future have reportedly been unveiled as she’s been left without an upcoming TV show. The star has been a staple on our screens for years but it seems that she hasn’t got any upcoming projects for us to look forward to.

The TV star is now at a point in her career where she hasn’t got a programme lined-up for the first time in 21 years. This comes as her usual presenting gig on Dancing On Ice has come to an end as the show has been axed.

Holly’s other job hosting Bear Hunt with Bear Grylls also won’t be happening again as that’s been axed as well. She has also chosen to leave You Bet! which means Stephen Mulhern will be hosting the show alone.

It has been reported that Holly’s husband Dan Baldwin is working on a reboot of Record Breakers which means Holly could be in with a chance of a presenting job. The Sun reported that a source said it would make “perfect sense” for Holly to be up for the role.

They said: “Record Breakers is likely to be a prime time hit and it would make perfect sense for Holly to take the reins. She has worked alongside Dan before and the pair know what it takes to make great telly.”

Holly has also been in amongst a few names that could be hosting the reboot of Cilla Black’s Blind Date. Other celebs that could be up include Claudia Winkleman and Davina McCall. Another show Holly is being looked at for is a new Channel 4 programme where new undiscovered singers are found. Holly first returned back to TV last year after taking an 18 month break.

It has also been reported that ITV are keen to keep Holly as she recently met with Katie Rawcliffe, director of entertainment and daytime about future opportunities.

An insider revealed: “Holly always intended to lock in new presenting roles for ITV, which has been her home for so long. She didn’t have anything confirmed earlier this year just due to the way the cards had fallen, but there are a string of exciting projects on the table and 2025 is looking good for Holly.

“Holly is looking to the future and this week’s meeting was a big part of that. It won’t be a return to daytime programming but new entertainment formats.” The meeting coincided with a documentary about Holly’s kidnapping airing.

Holly declined to participate in Channel 5’s documentary, The Plot To Kill Holly Willoughby, which told the story of the plot by obsessed security guard Gavin Plumb to kidnap, rape and murder her.

The traumatic experience is what led her to step down from her role on ITV1’s This Morning and take a break from television altogether.

  • Daniel Brocklebank’s blunt admission as he reflects on ITV Coronation Street exit

Daniel Brocklebank’s blunt admission as he reflects on ITV Coronation Street exit

EXCLUSIVE: Daniel Brocklebank has opened up about his upcoming exit from Coronation Street after 11 years, as well as hinting at ‘cloak and dagger’ ITV soap crossover with Emmerdale

Daniel will have appeared as vicar Billy Mayhew for 11 years when his exit airs next year
Daniel will have appeared as vicar Billy Mayhew for 11 years when his exit airs next year

Daniel Brocklebank has opened up about his upcoming exit from Coronation Street. The legendary actor, who is set to continue in his role for the foreseeable future, will depart from the ITV soap after 11 years next year.

But while the actor who plays vicar Billy Mayhew admits that he was “sad” to be leaving the soap opera, he teased a “major new storyline” which is yet to be revealed. Daniel, 45, joined the soap in 2014 and has since taken on a series of big storylines, most famously, his partner, Paul, battling Motor Neurones Disease, a cause which has a personal link to Daniel.

Speaking about his exit from the soap, Daniel exclusively told the Mirror: “11 years is a long time, but I’ve been acting professionally for 31/32 years now. As a freelancer, as a jobbing actor – jobs end, that’s what happens, contracts finish. The difference is that with a job like Corrie is that, potentially, you’re there for longer than the term of your contract.

“I would have been there 11 years by the time I go. It’s never not in the back of your mind that the contract you’re on could be your last.” One thing that Daniel is excited for is the Emmerdale and Coronation Street crossover, which will see the soaps join forces for a special hour-long episode in January next year.

Although details remain unknown, sources have hinted that the cast is currently in the process of discovering who is involved in the upcoming episode. “We’re all very excited for it,” Daniel gushed. He went on to add: “It’s never been done before, none of us know anything about it at the moment.

“It’s all being kept very cloak and dagger, but it is very exciting that these two universes are colliding.” One storyline that remains close to Daniel’s heart is Paul’s MND journey, and Daniel’s own connection with the condition affected him years before he took on the storyline.

“My connection to the MND Association goes back 23 years,” Daniel revealed. He went on to add: “My grandfather had motor neurone disease, so that is how I’m connected to the MND society. The fact that we ended up doing an MND storyline on Coronation Street was a complete coincidence.

Daniel admits that Paul's storyline involving MND was a complete coincidence, as the Corrie team had no idea about his link to the condition
Daniel admits that Paul’s storyline involving MND was a complete coincidence, as the Corrie team had no idea about his link to the condition

“The producers had no idea of my connection to the illness or the charity,” Daniel states that he personally didn’t learn anything about the condition through the show, as he and his family had already been on the same journey that Billy and Paul went through. He added that he used the opportunity to commemorate his grandfather and the people whom he knew who had been living with the condition.

“With everything that our storyline did and simultaneously, the wonderful Rob Burrow and his wife Lindsay did, I’ve seen more awareness raised for MND in the last sort of two or three years than I’ve seen in the last two decades. That’s been the most beautiful thing to come out of it all.”

Daniel says that the MND community is not like anything he’s ever known before. “It’s like a club that nobody wants to be in,” he said, but added that other people dealing with the condition or their loved ones are “supportive and upbeat.” He said: “The strength and the positivity is continually astounding, and it is a really tight-knit, beautiful community.”

Daniel struggled to contain his excitement over next year's Emmerdale and Coronation Street crossover episode

Daniel, who is an ambassador for the MND Association, is fronting the Omaze Million Pound house draw, with the funds going directly to the MND Association. “This is amazing,” he said of the partnership, adding further: “It’s fantastic. Hopefully, it should raise millions for the research, nurse network, which is going to be helping towards pioneering treatments and I genuinely, I’m ever hopeful that in my lifetime, I will see a cure for this disease because it is one of the cruellest diseases I think I’ve ever witnessed anybody go through.”

He praised Dame Pamela Shaw, the UK’s leading neurologist for MND, saying: “She’s incredibly positive about the future. They are making steps in terms of treatment, which could potentially slow it down. We now have Tofersen, a drug, there are different types of MND, but if you have the SOD1 gene, which is the familial type of MND, Tofersen is a type of drug that will slow it down. I know several people on Tofersens, and the quality of life is so much better, and the disease has rapidly slowed down in its progression. So it’s very encouraging.”

But while Dan has appeared in shows such as Emmerdale, Waterloo Road, Casualty, The Bill and obviously Coronation Street, he admits it’s his love of acting which draws him to a role. “I’ve also done a huge number of movies, a huge amount of theatre, and spent years with the Royal Shakespeare Company,” he said.

He went on to add: “It’s whatever excites you. I love acting, I love my job, and I’ve been doing this since 1994. So when I pick up a script and I get that little flutter of excitement. It’s always fun to embody somebody else. For me, it’s getting that little buzz of excitement imagining yourself becoming that person. It’s the detail for me, I enjoy playing characters and trying to find the truth in whatever story they’re telling.”

Although Daniel has proudly spoken about his sexuality and often shares an insight into his relationship with his boyfriend Jordan, he was once advised by a former manager not to come out as gay. Daniel was told that being open about being gay would affect his work, which he later discovered was correct.

Nowadays, though, he believes that attitudes have massively changed. “It’s cool now,” he said of being open about sexuality. “I think I’d have done it back then, it would not have been very cool,” he said of coming out. He commented: “Now, it’s sort of celebrated. So yes, attitudes, definitely have changed dramatically in the 30-odd years that I’ve been doing this for a living.

“That’s across the board, legally things have changed, and the attitude of the general public has changed. Yes, absolutely, it’s a very different world from the one I knew when I was young and freshly coming out.”

One Coronation Street star has promised “big” scenes ahead on the ITV soap in the coming months.

Summer Spellman actress Harriet Bibby spoke exclusively to The Mirror about the upcoming storylines for her character. She also teased the 65th anniversary plans for later this year, and the big Emmerdale crossover airing in 2026.

After months of not being onscreen much, Harriet explained to us that she was having a quieter year following the huge and emotional 2024 storyline, that saw Summer’s father figure Paul Foreman die after battling motor neurone disease. Summer featured heavily in this storyline, with lots of difficult scenes for actress Harriet.

Often in soaps when a character features in a massive storyline, they tend to then go quiet which is what has happened with Summer. But that’s all about to change as next week, she takes centre stage once more.

This time, Summer and other characters are caught up in a drugs storyline, as three characters take LSD at a house party. What follows is a dramatic and devastating sequence of events.

Teasing more from Summer ahead, Harriet told us: “I’ve had a quieter year this year after the big storyline with Paul last year. It was brilliant, we loved doing it even though every day we were in tears.

Summer Spellman actress Harriet Bibby spoke exclusively to The Mirror about the upcoming storylines for her character

“We will be seeing more of Summer in the coming months.” Harriet also teased the big stuff on the way, saying: “I’m really excited about the crossover. It’s never been done before. It will be fun and a little different.

“I am hoping to be a part of it but we have no idea. I’d love to meet the Dingles.” When asked about the 65th, she said: “I’m the worst person to ask, everything you’re asking me I’m asking the bosses! It will be something big though.”

As for the huge drugs storyline that is coming up, Harriet teased what the fallout will be with it clear something has happened, and that Summer and pal Nina Lucas have been witnesses to something while high. Revealing “the night takes a turn”, she teased: “Even with no drugs in their system they’d be feeling really shocked, upset and concerned about what’s just happened.

“So times that by 10 with the LSD they’ve got in their system and they’re distraught. They’re really worried and really scared about what’s just happened.” Harriet went on: “They figure out that they’ve witnessed something.

One Coronation Street star has promised "big" scenes ahead on the ITV soap

“They have different opinions on what to do with this and it causes a little bit of friction between them. Nina thinks they should tell someone and report it whereas Summer is more convinced that they don’t know what they’ve seen because they were affected by the LSD so there’s no point in reporting anything as they don’t know for sure that something happened.

“They’re very confused by what they think they saw because they’re unsure about what was reality and what was not.” On the future impact of the huge plot, she shared: “I think when you find yourselves in quite dangerous situations, and it’s not just Summer and Nina who are affected, you look back and think that was a really stupid idea. It affects a lot of different people in different ways and it could have been avoided if these drugs were not at the party.”
