Piers Morgan’s son has shared the reason why is dad threatened to “cut him out of his will”. Piers is well-known for his successful journalism career which includes hosting Piers Morgan’s Life Stories and Piers Morgan Live, as well as Piers Morgan Uncensored.

His career means that he has managed to earn a huge net worth of around £20million. However, his son Spencer has now said that there’s one thing that would stop him inheriting his dad’s fortune.

Despite following in his dad’s footsteps and becoming a sports journalist himself, Spencer has said that several reality shows have approached him to take part.

Speaking to The Sun, Spencer said: “I’ve been asked to do SAS, Celebs Go Dating – stuff like that.” However, there is one big thing that’s holding him back.

He explained: “I’ve been asked for the last few years, but Dad said if I do any reality TV he will cut me out of the will. It’s always the deal. I have to make the right choice on that one. I’m A Celebrity is the only one I’ve never been asked to do.”

Spencer revealed that he has rejected multiple offers to be on Love Island, despite now being in a relationship. 30-year-old Spencer is the eldest of Piers’ sons, who he had with first wife Marion Shalloe.

The couple were married from 1991 until 2008 and they also had sons Stanley, 26 and Albert, 23. Piers then married his second wife journalist Celia Walden and they share daughter Elise, 13.

Despite Piers telling his son not to go on any reality shows, he has actually been on one himself. He won the US celebrity version of The Apprentice in 2008 which was fronted by Donald Trump.

Piers recently said that he thinks his own parents would “disown” him if he ever signed up for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! himself.

Speaking on Gyles Brandreth’s Rosebud podcast, he said: “One thing they always said to me was “’Don’t ever do the jungle, I’m A Celebrity’. I always remember this and last week I got a call from ITV ‘Could we tempt you to do the jungle?’

“And I went ‘There’s actually not enough money at ITV to get me to go in that jungle because my parents would disown me’. That for them was the red line.”

He confirmed that he would never be taking on the jungle by saying: “So, you won’t ever see me munching kangaroo testicles, I’m afraid.”

Springwatch host Michaela Strachan blames BBC licence fee on show’s axe

Michaela Strachan spoke out on the reasons behind axing popular BBC series Autumnwatch on Friday’s Loose Women

Michaela Strachan joined Loose Women on Friday to talk about the new series of Springwatch, which begins on Monday, but during the chat, the presenter addressed the BBC’s decision to axe the sister show Autumnwatch.

BBC viewers were outraged earlier this year when the BBC announced its plans to scrap Autumnwatch while invest more money into its sister shows Springwatch and Winterwatch.

During her appearance on Loose Women, panellist Jane Moore asked: “I’m baffled – why did they axe Autumnwatch? What was the thinking behind that?”

Michaela explained: “It’s all to do with budget and if you think what the BBC has put on this year, there’s been a lot of expense.”

“People love that show,” Jane interjected. “People love both [Springwatch and Autunwatch].”

Michaela continued: “We have to be realistic, less people are buying the licence, there is more choice of what to watch, budgets have got smaller and we the production was given a choice of either, cutting the budget on everything or getting rid of one of them.”

BBC sparked outrage earlier this year when it announced it was axing Autumnwatch after 17 years.

The official statement reads: “These are challenging times financially and we need to make difficult decisions and focus our resources on content that has the highest impact. Sadly, this means that Autumnwatch will not be continuing. Instead, we are investing more money into Springwatch and Winterwatch, as they are most popular with audiences.

“We are incredibly proud of the Watches and would like to thank the presenters and production team who will continue on Springwatch when it returns in May for three weeks, and Winterwatch when it returns next year for one week, reduced from two weeks.”

Emmerdale star Danny Miller hits back at trolls after wife breastfed baby on live TV

Emmerdale’s Danny Miller has hit back at trolls after they slammed his wife Steph for breastfeeding their baby during the family’s appearance on Loose Women

Emmerdale star Danny Miller has hit back at trolls after his wife Steph breastfed their baby on live TV.

The actor, who is best known for his role as Aaron Dingle in the ITV soap, responded to the backlash his wife faced after their appearance on Friday’s Loose Women. The couple were on the daytime show to discuss the difficulties they faced falling pregnant, as Steph, who is a midwife, suffers from polycystic ovaries (PCOS), which can lead to fertility problems. However, some viewers found issue with the fact Steph decided to feed unsettled baby Edith on the Loose Women panel.

Danny has since made his thoughts very clear as he responded on social media. He wrote: “We had such a beautiful day today down @loosewomen talking all about life as a family of four and having two under two! I wanted to take this moment to say how incredibly proud I am of my wife @stephjones1710 – the most incredible Mother – for flying the breastfeeding flag and showing how when it’s needed, nothing comes before it.

“I bloody love this woman. In absolute awe of her. Breastfeeding is completely normal and natural. It’s food. It’s responding to the babies needs. It really is that simple. And whenever they need it, they should have it. Regardless of the situation. Including live television. I hope that Edith needing exactly that helps towards normalising breastfeeding wherever and whenever.”

In response, one fan said: “I was watching this afternoon and I literally thought ‘yes girl’ then thought ‘I bet some Karen has something to say about that’ but why should that thought even have crossed my mind?? I hope that there aren’t any negative comments or responses!! Lots of love a fellow midwife.” Danny replied: “Wasting their time if they do mate they just get deleted. You midwives are cut from a different cloth! Thank you for everything you do. All the love to you and yours and have a great weekend!”

Other fans shared their support for Steph as someone wrote: “Was a breath of fresh air seeing a mother feeding her child! It’s the most natural thing in the world ! Well done Steph ! Wish there was more women with this much strength to do this in general never mind on national Tv!” Another added: “After recently being sniggered at in a small cafe for feeding my 2 month old baby I have to say it totaly made me uncomfortable to feed in public again. Watching this gave me the motivation to feel confident to feed out of the house again.”

On the show, Steph, who had an intense water birth at home, introduced her daughter to the panellists and audience, and realising her daughter needed feeding, she discreetly began breastfeeding the newborn while Danny had their two-year-old son Albert on his knee. Emmerdale star Danny explained how they had navigated the emotional turmoil they faced when trying to get pregnant, and he realised his job was just to support Steph as she was given the fertility drug Clomid to help her get pregnant.

“That’s my role to be there for my partner Steph and that’s all I ever wanted to do was just support her the best I could and I think supporting each other through it worked, you know once you’ve got a shoulder to cry on,” he sweetly shared. Steph also spoke about her home birth with Edith, and said it was “amazing” as she recalled the intense 36-minute labour. “We had a home birth at my mum’s house as we were in the process of moving again and my mum was decorating her bedroom so it was empty. We put the pool up in mum’s room and it was amazing,” she said.

  • Coleen Nolan’s ‘new boyfriend’ is her Tinder ex – and she’s ‘never been happier’

Coleen Nolan’s ‘new boyfriend’ is her Tinder ex – and she’s ‘never been happier’

Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan split with her beau Michael Jones in April 2022, but after meeting on Tinder three months earlier, the pair are now giving things another go – and Coleen has never been happier

Coleen Nolan recently admitted she has ‘never been happier’ as she confirmed she is in a new relationship – and as it turns out, it’s with someone she had already known for quite some time.

The Loose Women star, 58, has new love in her life after splitting from supermarket worker Michael Jones back in April of 2022 after the pair spent a year together.

Getting back on the dating scene wasn’t easy for Coleen, as she opened up about the insecurities which held her back in her finding love, but the TV star has now confessed that she’s back with Michael, admitting that it feels like a whole new relationship after they decided to give things another go following their split last year.

Coleen, 58, and Michael went public with their relationship in January 2022, before calling time on things three months later.

However, a source said that the couple ‘stayed close’ following their split and are now taking things slow the second time around.

“They are just taking things slowly, not labelling it, and just seeing what happens. Coleen and Michael have been on and off since they broke up last year. In fact, you could say they didn’t completely call it off at all,” a source close to the couple revealed.

“They spoke to each other almost every other day but hadn’t put a label on it. They weren’t officially together as a couple but they were still in each other’s lives.

“Now Coleen has spoken out about her relationship on Loose Women, it suggests she is ready to admit to herself, and others, that they are official again. Coleen has often struggled with her confidence in relationships, but as she said herself, now she has truly opened herself up, she has never been happier. It is lovely to see her feeling this way,” the insider added to OK! Magazine.

As she appeared on Loose Women last week, Coleen discussed what it is like getting into a new relationship.

The TV star recalled her past romances, where she said if you haven’t got an instant connection then the relationship isn’t right.

Yet, she candidly admitted that stance held her back following her split with Michael.

“Gradually over time with the person I’m with now, it has taken a longer time and it’s my fault because I keep thinking I’m not used to this,” she told the panel.

“I’m not used to somebody loving me the way you do because I’ve never believed I have. Because I’ve never been with anyone that has made me feel that 100%.”

The TV presenter and singer has been through a lot in each of her relationships over the years.

Coleen has been married twice – the first time to EastEnders star Shane Richie and the second to Leeds musician Ray Fensome.

Coleen and Shane were together for many years and even welcomed their first child together, Shane Jr, in 1988.

In 1990, the couple decided to tie the knot by eloping to Florida and two years later, they welcomed their second son, Jake.

However, their relationship was soon plagued with infidelity claims when Shane moved to Manchester on his own to take on the role of Danny Zuko in Grease in 1996.

The couple eventually split in 1999.

Coleen and Ray welcomed daughter Ciara, in June 2001 and became engaged to him four years later.

The duo tied the knot in November 2007 but after two years of marital difficulties, Coleen announced in 2018 that the two were divorcing.

Coleen then dipped her toes into the world of online dating after her split from Ray in 2018 as she began dating a supermarket worker Michael Jones – who she met on Tinder.

  • Louis Tomlinson says Dan Walker ‘lacked all empathy’ after awkward BBC Breakfast row

Louis Tomlinson says Dan Walker ‘lacked all empathy’ after awkward BBC Breakfast row

Former One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has opened up on Steven Bartlett’s podcast about coping with his sister and mum’s death

Louis Tomlinson has spoken out about the Dan Walker BBC Breakfast row on Steven Bartlett’s podcast, five years after it took place. Back in 2020, Louis appeared on the programme where Dan and Louise Minchin interviewed him following the death of his mum and sister.

However, thigs didn’t go to plan as the BBC were reportedly sent a list of topics not to ask the former One Direction star about and his mum and sister’s death was on the list.

This didn’t stop the hosts from asking away though, which left Louis upset. Louis’ mum died in 2016 after a battle of cancer and his sister Félicité succumbed to an accidental drug overdose in 2019.

After the interview, the singer took to social media to write: “Defo won’t be going on there again.” Dan then replied to the post as he asked why Louis was upset with the interview.

Louis responded: “I was upset that you continued to ask me about my grief. It goes without saying how hard it is to lose both people so close to me. The least I ask is that you respect my decision of not wanting to be asked in interviews about something so painful.

“I’m lucky enough to have a creative outlet for me to talk about grief. This doesn’t, however, give you the right to talk about it for gossip purposes.”

Dan then replied to Louis with: “Hi Louis. We were asking you about the song on your new album about your mum.

“We know it’s painful which is why we didn’t dwell on it. No intention to upset you or be ‘gossipy’ about it at all. That’s not our style on #BBCBreakfast.”

Louis has now spoken about what happened once again on Steven Bartlett’s podcast. He explained that the interview was an early morning slot and he was going on to talk about his single Two of Us.

Louis said: “We distinctly said ‘these are the things that are okay to mention’ and ‘do not mention these things’. But I actually, the journalist at the time who asked me directly about those things, and I’d known that we’d said don’t.”

After showing a clip of Dan asking about his family losses, Louis continued: “Sometime we might have on that list ‘don’t ask about One Direction’ or something like that, this is not what I’ve got a problem with.

But when someone’s had their own grief and you still then going to ask those kind of questions, I find that really really troubling and then I think what was interesting was I left the interview and I took to Twitter and was like ‘I’m never f***ing working with the BBC again’ and he came back at me this journalist.”

Louis said that Dan replied by insinuating that if he wrote a song about grief, he should expect those questions. This meant that Louis said he then assumed that Dan had not experienced grief before.

He explained that he came to this conclusion as he said that someone who had been through grief wouldn’t make “such a horrible, horrible” comment which “lacked all empathy”.

A Place In The Sun’s Laura Hamilton has opened up on how she manages to juggle her successful career and co-parenting her two children. The star is best known for hosting the show for the last 13 years where she helps people look for new homes abroad.

Despite meaning she has to travel abroad a lot, Laura has managed to build up her career as well as being a mum. Laura has son Rocco, 11, and ten-year-old daughter Tahlia with her ex-husband, insurance broker Alex Goward.

The 43-year-old has revealed that the former couple tend to look after their children a week at a time, which means Laura can film abroad while her kids stay in the UK with their dad.

Speaking to The Sun, Laura said: “I co-parent Rocco and Tahlia with their dad. I try to manage it so that they spend a week with their dad, then a week with me.

“The weeks that they are with their dad is when I tend to focus more on my filming and so I am less stressed about getting back home in time for dinner or bedtimes.

“I’m incredibly lucky that over the years, I have had a supportive employer who has allowed me to travel with my children. That has allowed me to be a mum and have my career. Is it a juggle? One hundred per cent.”

Laura explained that she has “every respect” for those who are full-time mums but she’s managed to find a way to make it work with her career, despite being “chaotic” sometimes.

She said it’s important for her to know that her daughter Tahlia is “inspired” by her hard work and knows she is also able to have a successful career and be a parent at the same time.

Laura has found that she has been trolled while she posts photos abroad to her social media followers. She said that many assume that she is not with her children despite not always posting in real time.

This comes as the presenter publicly addressed an online remark claiming she was “too old” to wear a bikini. She shared a photo showing herself sitting poolside in a blue and white bikini, along with a video of her relaxing on a day-bed with her daughter before sending her followers a message.

In the caption, she asked: “Who decides when we’re ‘’too old’ for anything? I recently read a comment saying I was too old to wear a bikini… and it honestly made me stop and think for a second. But then I reminded myself, life’s way too short to worry about what other people think.

“Today I’m wearing a swimsuit, not because of the comment I read but because I wanted to and I feel comfortable in it. We all have days when we feel self‑conscious, but we deserve to enjoy the sunshine, the beach, the pool – whatever makes us happy – no matter our age and whether we choose to wear a swimsuit or a bikini!!”

She finished off her message to her fans by writing: “Live your life and feel good in your own skin.”

Coronation Street star Philip Middlemiss has been declared bankrupt, a report has claimed. It would make the second time the 62-year-old actor has faced bankruptcy.

Middlemiss has suffered financial woes since leaving Weatherfield – losing his life savings when he attempted to make a movie in the early 2010s. And now it has been reported he has gone bankrupt a second time after failing to keep up with tax payments.

According to The Sun, the star was taken to court by HMRC and declared bankrupt after being found to owe “a hefty five figure sum” in unpaid tax bills. The Mirror has contacted a representative of Middlemiss for comment.

His bad luck comes 13 years after he declared himself bankrupt in 2012 after plans to make a movie ended in disaster. He had been self-financing the project, but his funds ran dry before rolling was completed.

He told the Manchester Evening News previously: “It was partly-funded by myself but I didn’t have the money to fund the rest of the film.

“Filming came to a grinding halt. It was nearly three-quarters of the way along the line. It has been a difficult time. Three-and-a-half years is a long time to fund myself without any income. I have had to get money from family and friends.”

Away from Corrie, Middlemiss’s TV roles have included playing David Buckley in the ITV drama Where the Heart Is, from 2000 to 2006. He had a 10 year hiatus from on-screen acting which was broken last year when he played DI Travis Lennox on Doctors.

He is the proud father of two sons – including actor and boxer Alfie. The 22-year-old has been competing in matches in the UK – with his proud dad at the ringside cheering him on.

After watching his son win a match in December last year, the soap star wrote in an Instagram post: “So so proud, great team and phenomenal support! The journey begins.”

Earlier this year, the actor’s 48-year-old wife Leanne Davis shared a glowing birthday wish to the TV star. Sharing a string of loved up snaps of them together on Instagram – including one where Middlemiss was dressed in drag – she posted a gushing tribute.

Leanne wrote: “Happy birthday to my favourite person on the whole planet Have the best day darling. Thank you for making this journey of life so much fun – a little nerve wracking at times but always a laugh to be had and no one else I would rather do it all with.”

Stacey Solomon was “so excited” on Monday after receiving an unexpected gift from David Beckham, accompanied by a lovely handwritten note.

The Loose Women star, 35, had earlier sent Beckham a “cringe” Instagram voice note asking for beekeeping advice, after deciding to start her own hive at home. However, she had feared he would ignore it but was delighted to discover he had responded.

“I’ve been sent a parcel from… the Beckhams. How sweet that he actually replied to an Instagram!” Stacey shared on her Instagram story. And inside the package was a card from David that read: “To Stacey and Joe, I hope you enjoy the honey and snacks. Lots of love, David Beckham.”

Overjoyed, Stacey told her followers: “I’ve got David Beckham’s autograph! What a time to be alive! They’re obviously funny. This is the best thing ever! Thanks David we love you.”

Cringing as she sent it, she admitted: “I’m already regretting sending you this message because I know you’ll never see it, or hear it, and if you do you’ll probably think I’m a weirdo.”

Later, she told Gemma: “I’m going to be blacklisted from all cool things now because I’ve just sent David Beckham the most loser-ish message.”

Her husband Joe joked about the situation as he said: “Damn right he didn’t reply, he better not either. Hands off mate.

“I don’t need David Beckham as competition! It’s the last thing I need. I’ve got dogs, ducks, the last thing I need is David Beckham,” he added.

Hollywood icon Diane Keaton has died at the age of 79, leaving behind a legacy of unforgettable performances and an estimated $100million fortune.

A family spokesperson confirmed the heartbreaking news that the Oscar-winning actress died in California to People on Saturday. Her health is said to have taken a sudden decline in recent months, and even close friends were reportedly unaware of how ill she had become.

Diane’s remarkable career as one of Hollywood’s biggest stars spanned over five decades. She became a household name in the 1970s after her breakout role as Kay Adams in The Godfather trilogy, and later earned an Academy Award for her performance in Woody Allen’s Annie Hall.

She went on to star in a string of acclaimed films, including Reds, Father of the Bride, The First Wives Club, and Something’s Gotta Give. Her achievements earned her an Oscar, a BAFTA, two Golden Globes, and multiple nominations for Emmy and Tony Awards.

Diane also collaborated frequently with filmmaker Nancy Meyers, starring in Baby Boom, Father of the Bride and Something’s Gotta Give.

While her acting career was the foundation of her immense wealth, Diane also became a savvy real estate investor with a passion for interior design and house flipping. In 2004, she bought a property in Laguna Beach for $7.5 million and sold it just two years later for $12.75 million.

She continued this streak in 2012 by purchasing a home in Pacific Palisades for $5.6 million and later selling it for $6.9 million. In 2018, she flipped a Tucson home for $2.6 million after buying it for $1.5 million.

Her most personal project was her own “dream home” in Los Angeles. The actress spent nearly a decade designing and renovating the five-bedroom mansion, and chronicled her process in a book she called The House That Pinterest Built.

Bizarrely enough, she said the inspiration for the property came from the children’s story Three Little Pigs. Diane previously shared: “I knew I was going to live in a brick house when I grew up.”

Sadly, as her health declined earlier this year, she quietly listed the $29 million property for sale. A friend told People: “She declined very suddenly, which was heartbreaking for everyone who loved her. Even longtime friends weren’t fully aware of what was happening.”

Although she never got married, Diane adopted two children in her 50s. She has described raising her daughter, Dexter, and her son, Duke, as “the most completely humbling experience” of her life.

Details of her will have not yet been released, so it is yet to be determined who will inherit the fortune she saved up during her lifetime.

Tributes for the actress have poured in from Hollywood and beyond. Bette Midler, who starred alongside her in The First Wives Club, shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, writing: “The brilliant, beautiful, extraordinary Diane Keaton has died.

“I cannot tell you how unbearably sad this makes me. She was hilarious, and completely without guile, or any of the competitiveness one would have expected from such a star. What you saw was who she was… oh, la, lala!”

Broadcaster Piers Morgan also paid his respects on X, calling her “one of Hollywood’s greatest actresses, and a delightful lady”.
