Amy Tapper stunned in a plunging floral dress at a family wedding this weekend, revealing a striking transformation after dropping three dress sizes in just a year.

The 25-year-old Gogglebox star shared a side-by-side comparison on Instagram, wearing the same dress in a different print, captioning it: “What a difference a year can make! Same dress, different print and 3 sizes smaller.”

Back in April, Amy proudly announced she had lost six stone, a milestone she celebrated with heartfelt emotion alongside her personal trainer. In an emotional Instagram clip, she exclaimed: “Wow wow wow 6 stone down!! I cannot believe it – I am so proud of myself.”

She credited her trainer for not just physical support but emotional guidance too: “You are not only my personal trainer but truly a friend and more like a therapist – I couldn’t do any of this without you and your ongoing support, thank you for everything.”

Amy rose to fame on Gogglebox with her family from 2013 until her departure in 2018. Since then, she’s openly documented her fitness journey, frequently posting workout videos involving weights, boxing, and gym sessions to inspire her followers.

Earlier this year, she shared a mirror selfie wearing a jumper from 2022, now clearly loose on her slimmer frame. She wrote: “Officially 5 stone down and I couldn’t be happier. Never thought I’d be able to reach this milestone so I think I can say I’m proud of myself. Thank you for being by my side throughout it all @tashelite.fitness (swipe for our reaction today).”

Amy’s journey started in earnest in early 2022 when she set out to lose 3.5 stone and saw dramatic results, dropping 33cm from her waist in five weeks.

She has been candid about the challenges she faced, revealing how years of online trolling during her time on Gogglebox drove her toward unhealthy fad diets that failed to produce lasting results.

She credits her recent success to making positive lifestyle changes rather than quick fixes. Amy has also reflected on growing up feeling bigger than her peers, even though she wasn’t bullied.

She joined Gogglebox at age 13 alongside her mother Nikki, father Jonathan, and brother Josh, and has since embraced her fitness journey as a source of pride and empowerment.

Royal verdict on Meghan Markle’s intentions with Harry revealed in brutal new claims

A royal author has claimed that a close confidant of the late Queen questioned Meghan Markle’s relationship with Prince Harry and sent a warning about her

The late Queen’s cousin and confidant warned that Meghan Markle “could turn into nothing but trouble” and questioned her relationship with Prince Harry, according to explosive new claims.

It has been seven years since Harry and Meghan tied the knot at Windsor Castle in May 2018, in a fairytale wedding attended by the whole of the Royal Family.

But a royal author has now claimed that that a so-called close friend of the late Queen told her that she was suspicious of former actress Meghan’s motives before the Sussexes tied the knot in the grand ceremony, despite intially being impressed when she first came on the royal scene.

Writing on her Substack, Sally Bedell Smith claims that before her death, Lady Elizabeth Anson, a cousin of Elizabeth II and a high-society party planner, said that just days before the nuptials: “We hope but don’t quite think she is in love. We think she engineered it all.”

She is also said to have warned: “It’s worrying that so many people are questioning whether Meghan is right for Harry. The problem, bless his heart, is that Harry is neither bright nor strong, and she is both.” And added: “Meghan is clearly brighter than Harry, but she has to be careful not to overshadow him.”

According to Bedell Smith, Lady Anson said that Meghan was “full of charm” as well as “intelligent and thoughtful” when she and Harry first became engaged in 2017.

But as the wedding approached several months later, she claims that relations between the Sussexes and the late Queen became rocky.

The Mirror has contacted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for comment. Meanwhile, a source close to the couple to MailOnline said the claims were “just gossip”. It comes as the author also claimed that Harry ‘blew’ his relationship with the late Queen in the lead-up to marrying Meghan Markle after making one major decision.

Bedell Smith said Lady Anson told her that the former monarch was left ‘dismayed’ about some of the arrangements being made for the wedding and had become “very worried” about her ‘weak’ and ‘besotted’ grandson.

She claims that the former monarch had been left shocked that Harry had asked the Archbishop of Canterbury to perform the ceremony without asking the Dean of Windsor first, and that the now Duke of Sussex thought his grandmother could just “do what she wants”.

According to Bedell Smith, Lady Anson said that due to this, Harry had “blown” his relationship with his grandmother. She writes that Lady Anson told her several months before the wedding: “She [the Queen] said she was really upset. I was shocked when the Queen told me this, how she was so saddened. I had no idea about the conversation, that he was rude to her for ten minutes

“They had tea with her the day before yesterday. She was trying to find out about the wedding dress, and Meghan wouldn’t tell her.”

However, the author later claims that several weeks closer to the nuptials, Lady Anson told her that Harry and his grandmother had “patched things up” after he let her into the details of what they had planned for their wedding.

Lady Anson was the daughter of Thomas Anson, Viscount Anson, and his wife, Anne Bowes-Lyon, who would later become Princess Anne of Denmark when she remarried. She was a niece of the late Queen Mother and was a close friend of the Queen and responsible for arranging many of her private parties.

She founded the firm Party Planners in 1960 and went on to arrange events for a number of people in the royal houses as well as the Queen. Notable events Lady Anson planned include Sting’s wedding, Margaret Thatcher’s 70th birthday party and the Queen’s 80th birthday party.

In 2020, the late Queen made her a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, which is awarded to those having performed distinguished personal service to the monarch. Just months later she died at the age of 79.

  • Diddy not guilty of sex-trafficking and racketeering as he reacts to shock verdict

Diddy not guilty of sex-trafficking and racketeering as he reacts to shock verdict

Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs fell to his knees as the courtroom applauded as he was found not guilty of the most serious charges against him following a two month trial. The disgraced music mogul was accused of sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution and racketeering

Hip hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been found not guilty of racketeering and of sex trafficking former girlfriend Cassie Ventura and another woman referred to as ‘Jane.’ The 55-year-old dropped to his knees in court as a jury of eight men and four women acquitted him of the two most serious counts against him.

However, he was found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution, relating to Ventura and Jane. During the two month trial, the court heart how Diddy flew people around the country, including his girlfriends and paid male sex workers, to engage in sexual encounters, a felony violation of the federal Mann Act.

But Combs has been acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges, relating to allegations that he forced his former girlfriends into drug-fuelled sex encounters – known as ‘freak offs.’

Before the verdict was read, Diddy asked the courtroom to pray for his family. As he learned of his fate, the rapper fell to his knees with his head down in a chair, seemingly praying again after avoiding life in prison for the highest charge in his case.

His family – who have supported him throughout – stood in the background clapping and cheering. His defence attorneys hugged each other and Combs then stopped up to embrace his lawyer Brian Steel.

When asked how his father was feeling, Combs’ son Christian said, “Great,” and his daughters added, “Good, happy.” While Combs told his loved ones: “Thank you, love you,” as he was led away for at least a few more hours of custody ahead of his sentencing.

Hours after the verdict, Combs’ ex girlfriend Cassie released a statement through her lawyer sharing her response. Ventura’s attorney Douglas H. Wigdor commended his client for showing strength in her testimony and coming forward with accusations that inevitably led to the federal case.

“This entire criminal process started when our client Cassie Ventura had the courage to file her civil complaint in November 2023,” says Wigdor. “Although the jury did not find Combs guilty of sex trafficking Cassie beyond a reasonable doubt, she paved the way for a jury to find him guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution. By coming forward with her experience, Cassie has left an indelible mark on both the entertainment industry and the fight for justice. We must repeat – with no reservation – that we believe and support our client who showed exemplary courage throughout this trial. She displayed unquestionable strength and brought attention to the realities of powerful men in our orbit and the misconduct that has persisted for decades without repercussion. This case proved that change is long overdue, and we will continue to fight on behalf of survivors.”

Cassie ignited a wave of legal issues for Combs when she first filed a lawsuit alleging he raped her in November 2023. A settlement was arranged the next day, but Cassie went on to become a key witness in Combs’ federal trial and shocked fans with her brave testimony about their time together. Over the course of four days, Cassie gave a harrowing account of their 11 year relationship where she claimed she was routinely assaulted and abused.

Combs’ trial marked a stunning fall from grace for a man who once ruled the music world with Bad Boy Records and built an empire that spanned fashion, television, alcohol, and even political activism.

As well as a money-spinning artist, he founded his successful Sean John clothing line and starred in various reality TV shows.

Most recently, in 2023, he released his fifth record The Love Album: Off The Grid and earned his first solo nomination at the Grammy awards. The same year he was also named a Global Icon at the MTV Awards.

The verdict is expected to have wide-ranging repercussions for the music industry, where Combs has long been a dominant figure.

He discovered The Notorious B.I.G., launched multi-platinum careers, and amassed a personal fortune through brand deals and entertainment ventures. Numerous artists signed to his label – some of whom were present at various points in the courtroom – have remained silent as the trial unfolded.

On Tuesday, the 12-strong jury had come back saying they had agreed on four of the five counts. But jurors were unable to decide on the racketeering charge, which carries a possible life prison term.

Judge Arun Subramanian heard arguments from both the prosecution and the rapper’s defence attorneys on how to proceed, before urging the jurors to keep trying to come to a unanimous decision.

The prosecution urged the judge to use an Allen charge, which is a set of instructions given to a hung jury to press its members to reach a unanimous decision.

Over the course of the seven-week trial, the star had been accused of forcing women into days-long ‘Freak off’ sex parties. It claimed he led a sordid double life and used violence, fear and drugs against women.

Throughout the trial, prosecutors painted a chilling portrait of Combs. “You’ve learned a lot about Sean Combs,” Assistant US Attorney Christy Slavik told jurors during closing arguments.

This included the testimonies of Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, Combs’ longtime partner, and another victim referred to only as “Jane.”

Both women described being coerced into so-called “Freak Offs” – forced sex acts with male escorts arranged by Combs while he watched and recorded them. “The rapper’s abuse of Ms Ventura was “constant and controlling,” Slavik said.

During the trial, Ventura described to jurors how her then-boyfriend “would smash me in my head, drag me, kick me, stomp me in the head if I was down”.

Describing their time together, the 38-year-old said her former boyfriend subjected her to repeated physical violence. “He would smash me in my head, knock me over, drag me, kick me, stomp me in the head if I was down,” she testified. When asked how often the abuse occurred, she replied, “Too frequently.”

Ventura recounted injuries, including welts on her forehead, bruises, and busted lips. She was also asked to explain the context of a still image taken from widely circulated surveillance footage of the InterContinental Hotel in 2016.

Earlier, prosecutor Emily Johnson had told the jury that Combs paid a $100,000 bribe to ensure the video footage of the assault would never surface. Despite the hush money, the clip was eventually obtained and published by CNN in 2023.

Ventura said the incident followed what Combs termed a “Freak Off” – a voyeuristic sexual encounter arranged at his request. “He would watch me have intercourse with another man,” she said, adding that Combs first introduced the idea within the first year of their relationship.

“Eventually it became a job for me,” Ventura told the jury. “Sean set it up in the beginning. He was in charge.”

Diddy's team called no witnesses and rested its case in just 20 minutes

    Image:
AP)She reminded the jury of the viral hotel surveillance footage from 2016, shown multiple times during the trial, in which Combs is seen chasing and assaulting Ventura in a Los Angeles corridor. “This is what happened when Cassie said no,” she told jurors.

Ms Slavik described the video as “the moment the theoretical becomes real,” adding, “The cloud of abuse was hanging over Cassie’s head—always hovering.”

Grim-faced jurors watched the footage once more as the video played in the courtroom. Combs kept his head bowed. His daughters shifted uneasily in their seats.

They further argued that Combs used financial manipulation to exert control. In Jane’s case, he allegedly threatened to stop paying her rent if she refused to participate in sex acts.

“He plied them with drugs. He recorded them. He used money, violence and humiliation,” Slavik said. “Cassie and Jane did not want to have sex with escorts while the defendant watched.”

She read aloud text messages from Jane to Combs, one of which said: “I’m in fear of losing the roof over my head.” Another, sent ahead of a planned freak-off, read simply: “I don’t want to do this.”

Combs’s legal team called no witnesses and rested its case in just 20 minutes.

Their primary strategy was to argue that the relationships were consensual, portraying the encounters as part of a “swingers” lifestyle.

The defence attempted to introduce text messages showing affection between Combs and his alleged victims, arguing that they undermined claims of coercion.

  • Kate Middleton’s gruelling cancer treatment ordeal laid bare in her own words

Kate Middleton’s gruelling cancer treatment ordeal laid bare in her own words

The Princess of Wales has opened up about the ‘life changing’ long term effects of her cancer treatment as she spoke with other cancer patients and staff at the Colchester Hospital in Essex

Princess Kate has spoken candidly about her cancer treatment as she bravely opened up about the “very scary, very daunting experience”.

The Princess of Wales met with fellow patients at a cancer wellbeing centre at Colchester Hospital on Wednesday, openly discussing her own experience.

Kate, who is continuing to return to public appearances while in remission from cancer, said there was an expectation that patients “crack on, get back to normal”. She described her cancer diagnosis as “life changing” and the treatment and recovery a “rollercoaster”, opening up on the importance of a holistic “mind, body and spirit” approach.

She admitted: “You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment. Treatment’s done, then it’s like ’I can crack on, get back to normal’ but actually the phase afterwards is really difficult. You’re not necessarily under the clinical team any longer but you’re not able to function normally at home as you perhaps once used to.

“And actually someone to help talk you through that, show you and guide you through that sort of phase that comes after treatment I think is really valuable.” She added: “You have to find your new normal and that takes time.” The centre provides therapy, community groups and holistic treatments including reflexology.

The Princess is in remission from cancer, gradually returning to work and recently pulled out of an appearance at Royal Ascot.

She repeatedly emphasised the importance of patients and their families being able to find support through their illness, saying it was too often difficult to reach. Speaking to patients and volunteers inside the centre, she said: “There is a whole phase when you finish your treatment, everybody expects you to be better – go! But that’s not the case at all.”

The Princess, speaking to therapist Amanda Green during a walkabout in heavy rain afterwards, disclosed that she had not yet tried reflexology but had acupuncture as part of her own health journey.

The discussions were the princess’s most personal and extensive insight into her own experience to date, seeing her reference her own ill health several times while empathising with patients and families.

“It’s life changing for anyone,” she said today. “Through first diagnosis or post treatment and things like that, it is life-changing experience both for the patient but also for the families as well. And actually it sometimes goes unrecognised, you don’t necessarily, particularly when it’s the first time [of diagnosis], appreciate how much impact it is going to have.

“You have to find your new normal and that takes time…and it’s a rollercoaster, it’s not one smooth plane, which you expect it to be. But the reality is it’s not, you go through hard times.

“And to have a place like this to have the support network, through creativity and singing or gardening whatever it might be is so valuable and it’s great this community has it. It would be great if lots of communities had this kind of support.”

Speaking to patients, including those whose cancer has returned and one who had lost his husband to cancer, the princess asked how the centre had helped them.

“That first time diagnosis is a very scary journey,” she said, referring to the benefits of having an on-site hospital support network where many volunteers have had cancer themselves and survived. Many newly-diagnosed patients at Colchester Hospital now visit the centre immediately for counselling and advice.

“To feel a sense of hope and positivity [from speaking to people who have already been through it] is such a positive thing in what is otherwise a very scary and daunting experience,” the Princess said.

She added that “science has told us that the mind, body and spirit experience is so important,” asking if the clinical team at the hospital had given any feedback about how the wellness centre had affected patients.

In January, Kate met with other patients undergoing treatment and staff, telling one patient about her feelings around having a chemotherapy port for treatment.

The Princess of Wales spoke about her experience while meeting with Katherine Field, a patient. Field, 45, had on a cold cap (which helps prevent hair loss) during her chemotherapy, and Kate then gestured to her own arm and chest.

“I got so attached to it,” the Princess said, and joked that she hesitated when she was told, “You can have it taken out now.”

Kate’s appearance today marks her first public outing since she pulled out of Royal Ascot last month as she seeks the right balance following her treatment for cancer. Since announcing in January she is in remission, the princess has been gradually returning to public duties.

The princess’s visit today also coincides with the donation of 50 ‘Catherine Roses’ to the garden. The rose, named after the princess, is being sold by the RHS with funds from sale of them going to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Kate was treated at the Royal Marsden following her cancer diagnosis last year.

In addition, 500 ‘Catherine’s Rose’ plants will be donated to wellbeing and community gardens across the UK this summer, including Maggie’s gardens for people affected by cancer, East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices and Horatio’s Gardens for those living with spinal injuries.

The princess has long advocated the benefits of spending time in the natural world, previously revealing how nature became her family’s ‘sanctuary’ in the wake of her cancer diagnosis and during her chemotherapy treatment.

She also opened up last month in a personal insight into what nature means to her on a trip to the Lake District with the Scouts earlier this year, admitting: “I find it a very spiritual and very intense emotional reconnection, I suppose, these environments.

“Not everyone has that same relationship perhaps with nature, but it is so, therefore meaningful for me as a place to balance and find a sort of sense of peace and reconnection in what is otherwise a very busy world.”

Bob Vylan AXED from festival after US ban and cop probe over Glastonbury set

RADAR Festival organisers announced the news that the punk band Bob Vylan would no longer be performing this weekend after his Glastonbury set caused controversy`

Bob Vylan will no longer be performing at RADAR Festival, organisers confirmed today.

The festival announced the news today in a social media post, stating: “Bob Vylan will not be appearing at RADAR Festival this weekend.”

Following the decision, the punk rap duo have said “we will be back” after Radar Festival said the group would no longer be headlining on Saturday.

The group shared the festival’s statement on their Instagram story, with a caption that read: “Silence is not an option. We will be fine, the people of Palestine are hurting. Manchester we will be back.”

It comes after the punk duo yesterday released a statement claiming that they are being “targeted for speaking up” after complaints were made about their set at Glastonbury Festival, which saw them chant “Death to the IDF”.

Bob Vylan had also been due to perform in America later this year, however their visas have since been rejected. Following their controversial performance on Saturday, they have also been dropped by their agents and a criminal investigation launched into footage of their set at Glastonbury, alongside that of Kneecap.

On Tuesday, the band said: “Not the first. Not the last. Today, a good many people would have you believe a punk band is the number one threat to world peace. Last week, it was a Palestine pressure group, the week before that it was another band.

“We are not for the death of Jews, Arabs or any other race or group of people. We are for the dismantling of a violent military machine. A machine whose own soldiers were told to use ‘unnecessary lethal forces’ against innocent civilians waiting for aid. A machine that has destroyed much of Gaza.”

They continued: “We, like those in the spotlight before us, are not the story. We are a distraction from the story. And whichever sanctions we receive will be a distraction. The Government doesn’t want us to ask why they remain silent in the face of this atrocity. To ask why they aren’t doing more to stop the killing? To feed the starving?

“The more time they talk about Bob Vylan, the less time they spend answering for their criminal inaction. We are being targeted for speaking up. We are not the first. We will not be the last and if you care for the sanctity of human life and freedom of speech, we urge you to speak up too. Free Palestine.”

Bob Vylan’s visas for America were rejected earlier this week, with United States Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau saying on X: “The @StateDept has revoked the US visas for the members of the Bob Vylan band in light of their hateful tirade at Glastonbury, including leading the crowd in death chants.

“Foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country.”

Bob Vylan performed live on the BBC at the time, but the corporation have since said they have no plans of putting it back on iPlayer.

They have also since issued a statement to say they should have cut the livestream. The set was uploaded to iPlayer and remained on the site for more than five hours before it was removed by the BBC.

Downing Street also issued a statement following the performance as they said it was “right” for the BBC to express regret at airing the set.

A Number 10 spokesman said: “We strongly condemn the threatening comments made by Bob Vylan at Glastonbury. The Prime Minister has been clear that any performers making threats or inciting violence should not be given a platform.”

He later added: “The BBC needs to explain how these scenes came to be broadcast. It’s right that they have now acknowledged the live stream should have been pulled and that they will look at guidance around live events going forward.”

Kyle Walker has treated his wife Annie Kilner to her second luxury holiday in a week. The pair travelled with their four sons to the United States for a family trip together and now they are on their second holiday.

It has been reported that Kyle and Annie are now on holiday in Ibiza on a yacht with his footballer pal Riyad Mahrez and his wife Taylor Ward and a larger group of friends, with Kyle desperate to “relax and rejuvenate”.

“Kyle is so pleased things are back on track with Annie he wanted to treat her. Their family trip to America was brilliant but he wanted to make sure he had some alone time with Annie so booked them a trip to Ibiza,” a source said.

“They have been with Riyad and Taylor, as well as a wider group of friends, there and hired a luxury yacht. Kyle is really focused on getting fit and staying healthy ahead of the football season starting so this is perfect for him.”

Sources also revealed that Kyle is desperate to relax and enjoy some quality time with Annie after getting their romance back on track. The source told The Sun: “He’s having quality time with Annie which is so special to him, especially after the last couple of years.”

The Mirror recently learned that Annie is being lined up for reality TV stints as she’s “TV gold” for bosses.

“In terms of reality TV, Annie is this year’s hottest property – so many TV producers are desperate to snap her up. She has a great character, a dedicated, hands on mum so hugely relatable and – the cherry on the top – has barely said a word despite her life being dragged through the media,” a source had said.

“She can also be fiery and so it would be TV Gold to get her on a reality show where she is on camera 24/7 with huge potential for revelations and stories from her time with Kyle.”

The insider added: “She is yet to decide if she will take any of the TV offers further. If things continue to go well with Kyle she will probably move to Milan with the boys to be with him and wants to focus on the baby and other three kids.

“However, it would be difficult to turn down a big money offer, particularly one later in the year when Rezon is older. Coleen Rooney’s youngest children loved being in Australia and so perhaps one day Annie’s kids could be out there cheering her on in the jungle too.”

Sara Cox had to step in for Vernon Kay as her fellow Bolton-born DJ got stuck on a hot train

Radio 2 chaos as Vernon Kay misses show as he’s trapped on hot train

BBC Radio 2 presenter Vernon Kay missed the start of his morning show on Tuesday after becoming “trapped” on a train. The 51-year-old was expected on air at 9.30am but said his train had broken down.

Sara Cox, who was presenting Scott Mills’ breakfast show on the station, stayed on to cover for Kay. Posting on his Instagram story, Kay said the “train isn’t training!!” and asked Cox to “hang fire”.

Cox, who like Kay is from Bolton in Greater Manchester, told the BBC Radio 2 audience: “Oh no, I’ve just realised I’m not gonna be in time for reformer Pilates.

“If you just joined in and you’re thinking Vernon is sounding a little extra-manly today, don’t worry. It’s me: Sara, from the same area obviously, though famously.

“Vernon, poor Vernon stuck on a hot, sweaty train with no coffee, no air-con, no deodorant. So he’s going to get in at some point, hopefully.”

Cox reassured listeners that veteran broadcaster Gary Davies would be filling in from 10am. When Davies took over, he said: “If you just tuned in and wondering were Vernon is, he was on his train like usual and the train broke down and so he has been in sweltering hot heat and they had to send a rescue train which also broke down.”

Kay took to Instagram himself to share updates on his heated journey with fans. “The train isn’t training,” Kay wrote as he captioned a snap of himself looking hot and bothered on board. “Hang fire @djsaracox @bbcradio2. Send deodorant and coffee.”

Later, Kay got a boost when conditions on the train improved. “Aircon is back on!!!” Kay told his followers as he posed looking slightly happier.

Parts of England face a heatwave with temperatures in London expected to reach 34C on Tuesday, according to the Met Office.

Davis also played two voice notes on air from Kay where listeners could hear him thanking the presenter for covering the show and calling him a “gentleman”.

Kay later added: “We are trapped on the train. We are still not in good spirits but we are trying Gary, we really are trying. All the best.”

Former BBC Radio 2 presenter Ken Bruce appeared to have had a similar issue after his train broke down on Tuesday.

Posting on X, the DJ apologised to his followers, adding that he would be late to his Greatest Hits Radio show due to a broken down train.

Kay replaced Bruce on the BBC Radio 2 mid-morning weekday program in 2023.

Fans shared their condolences on the post; one wrote: “Very sad news to hear about Sandy. He will be sorely missed by those who remember him fondly as a friend, father and colleague. My condolences go to his family.”

Another lamented the loss, stating: “One of the best from a time when the industry was admired, but most of all, believed and trusted. Sad news.” A third reminisced: “He was part of my childhood. RIP Sandy.”

Having become one of Britain’s most recognised broadcasters, Gall made his name initially as a foreign correspondent for ITN and later as the co-presenter of News at Ten.

With a career that spanned over half a century, he started out at Aberdeen Press and Journal. Subsequently, he served a ten-year stint as a foreign correspondent with Reuters news agency, then joined ITN in 1963, quickly rising to become a familiar figure across the nation.

Gall remained with the network until he hung up his hat in 1992. His extensive career as a reporter and broadcaster saw him traverse the globe to report on some of the most monumental historical events of the 20th century.

One of his initial assignments with ITN took place in Dallas, Texas, mere hours after President Kennedy was assassinated.

Throughout his career, he reported on significant global events such as the Vietnam War, the Soviet-Afghan War and America’s civil rights movement, even securing an interview with Martin Luther King in 1965.

He was also among the handful of journalists who stayed behind in Vietnam to cover the fall of Saigon in 1975, following the North Vietnamese victory.

Gall went on to present ITV’s News at Ten in 1970, which was the UK’s most watched news programme at the time. He made his final appearance on the programme in 1991.

However, he returned to the company as a special reporter until his final retirement a year later. Gall went on to become a founder and chairman of Sandy Gall’s Afghanistan Appeal, a charity or disabled Afghans that ran for nearly 40 years.

The charity treated Afghans with war-related injuries, as well as children in refugee camps. As the time passed, the focus widened to people help many other people.

Gall was awarded a CBE in 1987 and a Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George in 2011.

Katie Price recently shared images of the results from her Brazilian bum lift while relaxing on a boat in Dubai. The 47-year-old former glamour model opted for a tiny mismatched bikini, featuring a white floral top paired with nude high-rise bottoms.

The swimwear revealed her collection of stomach tattoos and highlighted her sun-kissed complexion. Katie kept her makeup minimal and wore her dark hair straight. During her time on the boat, she showcased both her recent £10,000 facelift and the results of her cosmetic enhancements to her figure.

After posing facing forward, Katie turned to reveal the changes to her backside, which she enhanced with fillers following the Brazilian bum lift.

Katie has previously spoken candidly about the challenges she faced with the procedure. On the podcast Katherine Ryan: Telling Everybody Everything, she reflected on her experience: “The bum. I tried that BBL abroad where they take your own fat and put it in your bum. It was so painful. And it just did not look right on me.”

She revealed that the surgery was done in Turkey and emphasized her preference for having cosmetic work done overseas rather than in the UK. “I would never have surgery in England again. Ever, ever. I’d always have it abroad.”

Despite the difficulties with the initial procedure, Katie recently returned to the clinic to have additional filler added to her bottom.

Sharing a video on Instagram, she said: “So the bum is done! Here’s a little sneaky, beaky, boopky,” giving fans a glimpse of the fresh results.

The former glamour model is no stranger to going under the knife in a bid to achieve her dream body and look, but the mum-of-five has serious regrets about getting her BBL.

Popular with many celebrities including Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, a BBL is a cosmetic surgery procedure that involves transferring fat from other parts of the body to the buttocks to enhance their size and shape.

It’s a form of buttock augmentation that uses a patient’s own fat, harvested through liposuction, to achieve a lifted, rounded, and more contoured appearance.

Before going under the knife for the dangerous procedure, Katie was warned against it not only by her doctors, but also by her friends and family who admitted they were terrified for the star as she embarked on her riskiest surgery yet.

Alongside two previous BBLs, Katie has had 16 boob jobs and numerous cosmetic surgeries over the years.

Dr Gerard Lambe, one of the UK’s leading plastic surgeons and head of Reflect Clinic UK warned that Katie’s most recent surgery was incredibly dangerous.

“Katie needs to be aware that she is putting her health and body under extreme pressure with the now countless number of procedures she’s had done in the last year alone,” Dr Lambe said ahead of her surgery.

“BBL is one of the most dangerous surgeries anyone can undergo and it has the highest mortality rate – it’s one of Katie’s riskiest surgeries yet. She is dicing with death.”

A fraudster pretending to be Friends star, Jennifer Aniston, reportedly scammed a man out of £200 after claiming she desperately needed the cash for ‘Apple subscriptions’

A heartbroken Friends fan claims he was cruelly scammed out of £200 by a fraudster pretending to be Jennifer Aniston. Paul Davies from Southampton, says he thought he was chatting to the Rachel Green legend on social media before ‘Jennifer’ asked to him to hand over the cash so she could pay for her “Apple subscriptions”.

Paul says he was targeted by a flurry of AI scammers pretending to be Hollywood stars in a worrying new wave of deepfake fraud. The Brit, 43, revealed how he was swamped by swathes of very convincing clips – he thought were from celebrities – including Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. However, when ‘Jen’ sent him her driving licence as proof of her identity, he says he fell for it, not least because she told him she ‘loved him’.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: “I’ve had fake videos from Jennifer Aniston saying she loves me and asking for £200. I believed it – and I paid.”

The savage scam saw him send £200 worth of non-refundable Apple gift cards to the alleged American sweetheart as Paul admitted: “I got bitten. “Once bitten, twice shy.”

During their exchange on social media, ‘Jennifer’ sent a slew of sweet messages to Paul while also warning him not to contact Facebook because “you don’t want problems”.

The cruel con is sadly part of a worrying wave of deepfake, AI generated videos, which often forge someone’s face, voice or entire likeness.

Paul claims he’s been hounded by droves of deepfake videos, often promising he’s won a huge prize, endorsed by a fake celebrity.

One video even showed a fake Zuckerberg declaring: “This is not a scam – believe me” while flashing a phoney ID.

“They make it look so real,” Paul said. “It’s been going on for five months. I thought someone would get in trouble for this, but they seem to be having a laugh – and getting away with it.”

Paul, who admits his mental health has been greatly affected by the scam, says he’s sharing his story to protect others.

It comes after another unsuspecting Facebook user fell foul of a scammer pretending to be Brad Pitt.

They conned a French woman out of nearly £700,000 by pretending to be the Fight Club star, despite actually living in Nigeria and never stepping foot in front of a camera.

Interior designer Anne, 53, was conned into funding a fake cancer treatment for the so-called star after receiving AI-generated selfies and love messages.

The sham romance lasted over a year, costing Anne her fortune, her marriage, and her mental health.

Eventually a crack team discovered the scammer’s identity, his Nigerian home, along with, sadly, 34 other victims.
