However, the royal mum-of-two could face some “challenges” with its success, claims a brand strategist.

Brand strategist Lucie Green believes Meghan will have to decide whether to make her products expensive or accessible, and she’ll have to be careful about any royal references.

Speaking to Fabulous, Lucie shared: “Positioning will be a tightrope, whether to go very high-end and exclusive or make the brand more accessible.”

Now, Editor-in-Chief of Majesty Magazine, Ingrid Seward, claims including Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three, with the brand could help its success.

The royal expert told Fabulous: “I feel that they are going to need the addition of their children to kind of burnish their own image.

“I think if Meghan’s got her head screwed on right and we all think she has and she’s very smart, I think she would definitely want to go slightly down the kiddie line.

“Because most mums do, when they have young children, you want to get involved with them in every way you can.

 

“So I think I think very, very likely that Meghan will start to include some sort of kiddie things in her range of jams or whatever she does, maybe specialised children’s food.”

Before becoming one of the most famous royals in the world, Grace Kelly had a highly successful career as an actress. She acted in her first film, “Fourteen Hours,” when she was just 22 years old. She got her big break in 1952 with the release of “High Noon,” which launched her career to new heights.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, Grace Kelly was invited to join the United States Delegation Committee at the Cannes Film Festival in 1955. While in France for the festival, she met Prince Rainier III of Monaco on the set of a photo shoot. A year later, they were married.

As Insider previously reported, according to The List, J. Randy Taraborrelli wrote in his book, “Once Upon a Time: Behind the Fairy Tale of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier,” that Kelly planned to continue her acting career after her wedding. However, the prince later said he and his wife had decided she would give it up.

“It was widely believed that it was Prince Rainier who made his wife stop acting, as Kelly had no plans of retiring at the time of their engagement,” The List said.

On November 29, 2017, immediately following the engagement announcement, it was officially confirmed that Markle would be exiting “Suits” after seven seasons.

“From all of us at USA Network and Universal Cable Productions, we want to send our most heartfelt congratulations to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on their engagement,” USA Network said in a statement.

“Meghan has been a member of our family for seven years and it has been a joy to work with her. We want to thank her for her undeniable passion and dedication to ‘Suits,’ and we wish her the very best.”

Her storyline was wrapped up with her character, Rachel Zane, marrying Patrick J. Adams, who plays her love interest, Mike Ross, throughout the show’s seven seasons.

However, her decision to leave Hollywood was apparently not one made by the royal family — Prince Harry told Oprah Winfrey his family suggested Markle should continue acting to earn money.

However, Princess Grace had to relinquish a majority of her Hollywood fortune to pay her royal dowry, something not required of Meghan Markle.

According to a new poll conducted by Newsweek, the Duchess of Sussex was liked by 36 percent of the adults polled. Meghan was disliked by 24 percent, which gave her an approval rating of plus 12 – equal to King Charles III. Despite this, Meghan’s rating shows a stark decline from the poll conducted just three months ago, in February.

The poll from at the start of the year shows Meghan was favoured by 31 percent of the adults polled and unfavourable to 30 percent. Much like Meghan, the latest poll shows King Charles is favoured by 31 percent of adults polled. Although he also has a net approval of plus 12, the 75-year-old was only unfavourable to 19 percent.

Despite being a US citizen, Meghan has fallen long behind the Prince and Princess of Wales and Prince Harry in US-based popularity polls – and continues to do so. However, the latest boost in the new poll will likely be welcomed by the Duchess of Sussex, who soft-launched her new brand back in March. American Riveria Orchard was revealed back in March, with the launch of a new Instagram account and website.

As was noticed in earlier polls, the Princess of Wales remains the favourite royal – a little over a month after her cancer diagnosis reveal. Documented in the poll, Kate is viewed positively by 45 percent of those polled and unfavourably by 13 percent. Her net approval stands at plus 32 – a three percent drop from plus 35 back in February.

Prince Harry experienced a drop by two percent from his previous result in the February poll. The Duke of Sussex, who is currently in the UK, was favoured by 42 percent and unfavoured by 18 percent.

In the same poll, Prince William – who will not meet his brother in the UK this week – was liked by 40 percent of those polled. Only 12 percent of those polled stated they disliked him.

In a recent development that has captured significant attention in Hollywood, Whoopi Goldberg has publicly expressed skepticism about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s claims of a “near catastrophic” car chase by paparazzi in New York City. The incident, which reportedly took place on May 16, involved the couple and Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland. According to a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the pursuit lasted over two hours and involved several near-collisions with other drivers, pedestrians, and even two NYPD officers.

 

However, Whoopi Goldberg, speaking on “The View,” questioned the plausibility of such a high-speed chase occurring in New York City. Goldberg remarked that the city’s traffic conditions make sustained car chases highly unlikely. She humorously noted that if car chases were feasible in New York, “we’d all make it to the theater on time”.

That’s the message Kate was sending when she revealed her cancer diagnosis in a low-key Breton-striped sweater. It’s a personal favourite of the Princess of Wales who has reached for its jaunty nautical stripes on several earlier – and happier – occasions.”

However, royal fashion expert and celebrity stylist Miranda Holder said that “tastemakers” have said they are out of fashion. Meanwhile, she states that Kate is undoubtedly the one who can carry them.

“Tastemakers have been telling us for the last few seasons that skinny jeans are very firmly out of fashion, with looser, more unstructured shapes taking precedence, and although this more voluminous trouser shape is definitely more contemporary, it’s definitely not for everyone, and Kate is a case in point,” she told Newsweek.

Insider sources reveal that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have opted to keep childcare within the family, with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, stepping into the role of babysitter.

Their decision comes after numerous unsuccessful experiences with professional caregivers over recent years, as reported by the Express.

An inside source revealed: “Harry and Meghan have employed various nannies in the past, but now that Doria has moved in with them, she’s stepped up to help with the kids.”

When living in the UK, Harry and Meghan preferred not to have their home filled with staff, opting instead for a nanny who did not live at Frogmore Cottage.

They valued their home being “cosy and private,” enjoying nights with just the family and, according to the source, this is the approach that the couple now takes with both Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, two.

An insider confessed: “Doria spends nearly all of her time with Harry and Meghan. It’s basically a family of five,” before going on to say how Doria has a solid bond with the children, adding “She [Doria] is amazingly close to the children and helps Meghan daily. She also steps in as a nanny whenever they travel abroad without the children.”

This parenting style is a stark contrast to that of Prince William and Kate’s. The Prince and Princess of Wales, aged 41 and 42 respectively, have always relied on Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, a nanny from the prestigious Norland Agency, since Prince George was just eight months old.

“She’s absolutely, very low. She’s very thin-skinned. Anybody who criticises her, she goes mad,” Levin added. “She can’t stand it. She can’t cope with it.”

Levin said that Meghan is still eyeing up a potential career in politics, adding that her so-called “thin skin” does not bode well with that. “I don’t think she’ll ever make it as a politician,” Levin said.

“I heard she was crying the other day because of criticism of American Riviera Orchard. If you want to be a politician, you need to have very thick skin,” she added.

 

‘Meghan was in tears’

Royal author Tom Quinn, too, previously told The Mirror that Meghan was “in tears” over the criticism of her new brand. “The one fly in the ointment is Meghan’s new internet brand, America Riviera Orchard. Meghan was in tears when the brand launched and her new jam was widely mocked for being expensive and nothing special,” Quinn said.

“She has reached the point now where she thinks that anything and everything she does will be unfairly criticized. Like her husband, she feels that people are unfairly picking on her – she cannot understand why people don’t admire her work,” Quinn added

Meghan gifted 50 jars of strawberry jam to influencers across the United States to soft launch her brand. While she had previously deactivated her Instagram account, she returned to the social media platform during the initial announcement.

Meghan’s brand pays a tribute to her home in Santa Barbara, California. The name is a reference to how the sunny coastal region is called the American Riviera.
