The REAL reason Princess Diana agreed to a secret hotel meeting with JFK Jr. revealed – and the intimate letter she wrote him after their private get-together

In 1995, Princess Diana and John F. Kennedy Jr. were two of the most closely-watched people on the planet – so organizing a secret meeting between the two of them was no easy feat.

But that is exactly what their respective staffers managed to orchestrate during a brief trip that Diana made to New York City, the details of which have been kept largely under wraps. Until now.

The meeting was initially arranged at the behest of JFK Jr. who had hoped to convince the newly-separated Diana to appear on the cover of his magazine, George. However a new biography detailing the life of the political scion has now revealed that her real reasons for agreeing to the meet-up may have been far less formal.

‘It was never made public so that made it quite fun, actually,’ Diana’s private secretary, Patrick Jephson, recalls in the pages of JFK Jr: An Intimate Oral Biography, written by RoseMarie Terenzio, Kennedy’s former executive assistant, and Liz McNeil.

‘Diana wanted it to be discreet because it had all the makings of a great gossip story, didn’t it? World’s most eligible bachelor… and she had just got unmarried or was in the process of getting unmarried. It would’ve been a rather intriguing thing to dream about.

‘She didn’t want that, but she was curious to meet him. Partly, I think, because Sarah Ferguson had the hots for him and Diana wanted to, I think, do one up on her.’

RoseMarie, Kennedy’s former executive assistant and chief of staff at George, writes that Diana was due to be staying at the Carlyle hotel, and she’d arranged for a meeting with the princess on a weekday afternoon to discuss the potential cover.

‘There was all this worry,’ she recalls. ‘Should he go in the front door? Should he wear a disguise: because won’t there be rumors that he’s having an affair with her? … They were the two most famous people on the planet.’

In the end, he walked right through the front door without being noticed, avoiding the paparazzi who were waiting around the side for Diana.

Jephson met Kennedy outside the hotel’s Bemelmans Bar in a ‘rather dark passageway’ and took him up to the penthouse, where Diana was staying.

‘He was smart. And she was smart,’ he recalls. ‘It was a working meeting. Business attire.’

However, Jephson says Kennedy seemed in awe of the beautiful woman sitting opposite him, explaining that he was ‘not uncomfortable but he certainly seemed to be on his best behavior.

‘He rather sat on the edge of his chair and looked nervously at her,’ he continues.

‘She was very cool – and jolly, you know, and smiley and welcoming.’

He made his pitch for the cover and Diana respectfully declined, with Cindy Crawford ultimately going on to serve as Kennedy’s cover star, but the pair continued talking until their allotted time was over.

‘I can’t remember the words,’ says Jephson, ‘but there was a degree of sympathy. I think she might have spoken about the famous picture of him as a little boy.

‘And she had sympathy for him growing up with the name and being the object of public fascination. These were things that she could relate to.

‘She didn’t see him as the rest of the world saw him. As this big, famous, handsome guy. She saw him, I think, as rather vulnerable because he had grown up in public.

‘She saw in him a fellow victim… of life in the public eye and difficulty knowing who to trust. And I think that that did create a connection between them.’

Terenzio reveals that Diana and JFK Jr stayed in touch, and he asked her again for an interview two years later.

‘On February 3, 1997, she wrote John a note from Kensington Palace. I still have a copy of it,’ she writes

‘She said “regrettably” she must decline his offer and that she would get back in touch when the time was right. At the end, she wrote: “I hope” – and she underlined “hope” – ‘the media are leaving both you and Carolyn alone. I know how difficult it is, but believe it or not, the worst paparazzi are here in Europe.’

Matt Berman, the creative director of George, reflected on the deep irony of that first meeting at the Carlyle: ‘I sent him over with a bunch of covers. I would draw sketches – Magic Marker on tracing paper.

‘I did one of her in a limousine with paparazzi flash bulbs – it was her in the back with the windows half up.

‘How weird is that? They were both not gonna be around in the next few years. Who would’ve called that one?’

INTER MIAMI’S addition to the Club World Cup has left Major League Soccer rivals furious with Fifa.

Gianni Infantino, the Fifa president, announced this week that David Beckham’s MLS franchise will take the America host nation spot for next summer’s controversial tournament.

Infantino pointed to Inter Miami winning the Supporters Shield, awarded to the club who perform the best over the regular season, as the reason for their qualification.

The actual MLS champion is decided through the play-offs.

But with the reason for Miami’s inclusion not given before they lifted the trophy, their rivals have accused Fifa of having no clear qualification criteria.

And they claim they have jumped the gun simply to ensure that Lionel Messi is involved in the revamped 32-team tournament.

Seattle Sounders are the other team from the US involved and they booked their spot having won the Concacaf Champions Cup in 2022.

Fifa had been in discussions with MLS over criteria this season, before deciding on the Supporters Shield winner at their Council meeting on October 3 – the day after Miami sealed the title.

MLS insist all decision-making around the final slot was dealt with by the world governing body.

Not only have Beckham’s boys been given the host nation spot, but they will also play in the curtain raiser in Miami on June 15.

Prince George’s godmother reveals her birthday tradition with the young royal inspired by Princess Diana – but admits it’s hassle for William

Prince George’s godmother has revealed the young royal’s birthday tradition that Princess Diana inspired.

British psychotherapist Julia Samuels, 64, formed a close friendship with Lady Diana after meeting her at a dinner party in 1987, and is godmother to Prince George, who celebrates his 11th birthday today.

Speaking on the How to Fail with Elizabeth Day podcast, she previously revealed that she buys the ‘feisty and cheeky’ young royal ‘impossible’ noisy toys that take the Prince of Wales, 42, ‘days to put together’ in a running joke inspired by Diana.

In conversation about George, Julia said: ‘He is amazing. He’s funny and feisty and cheeky and God she [Diana] would have loved him so much. That is heartbreaking for all of them’.

Julia followed in the footsteps of the Princess, who was godmother to her son, revealing: ‘So I do to George what she did to us, which is give impossible toys which are really noisy, take a lot of making.’

The therapist, who has published two books about grief, also discussed her memories of Princess Diana, saying: ‘At the time and what I feel about that in retrospect are at the opposite ends of the spectrum.

‘At the time, I sort of felt outraged that people were crying and wailing when they never met her. It didn’t make sense.

‘But it didn’t take me long to realise that people felt they knew her, her vulnerability they connected with. And that it was an amazing tribute.’

She revealed: ‘You never think one person can change the world and then you see someone like her.’

‘By being as open and honest and vulnerable and authentic as she was, it changed the world and it certainly changed Great Britain. She had an absolutely lasting effect on us.

‘Now, I feel immensely proud. In those first days, it was a visceral response, it was like, shut up.’

After being asked if she was a ‘good’ godmother to George, she said she was ‘pretty good’.

Julia explained that she had an on-going tradition with the Wales’s, revealing: ‘I come in slightly tipped by the size of the present that William then has to spend days putting together.

‘And then put all the machinery together and it makes awful tooting noises and lights flashing and all of that. That makes me laugh and it makes George laugh.’

Julia is one of seven godparents for Prince George and was a poignant acknowledgement of William’s late mother.

She met and became friends with Diana in 1987 when the two sat next to each other at a dinner party.

William is now royal patron of the charity Child Bereavement UK, of which she is founder patron and trustee.

The charity supports families and professionals when a child dies or when a child suffers a bereavement.

The second in line to the throne has lived through some of the most turbulent times in recent royal history.

He endured the death of his beloved great-grandparents Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth in April 2021 and September 2022 respectively.

George has also seen the breakdown of his father’s relationship with his uncle Prince Harry in recent years.

But this year has been the hardest of all. His grandfather’s cancer diagnosis in February hit the family first, whilst his mother’s was announced the following month.

Kate, 42, announced her shocking health update with an emotional video message telling the public how she is undergoing ‘preventative’ chemotherapy.

The Princess shared how she and William ‘have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family’.

It came after Kate had not been seen for weeks following major abdominal surgery at The London Clinic in January.

In a sign that his mother’s treatment is going well, George enjoyed a public outing with her at Trooping the Colour to mark the King’s official birthday in June.

He rode in a carriage with Kate, Charlotte and 6-year-old Louis during the procession and stood on the balcony at Buckingham Palace with his family.

Despite the family struggles, George has continued to shine at all his public appearances.

His demeanor has demonstrated how the young Prince is being well prepared for his future responsibilities as monarch.

George Alexander Louis was born at 4.24pm on July 22,2013 at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.

It has been the traditional choice for royal mothers since the Duchess of Gloucester gave birth to son Alexander there in 1974.

George made his public debut in his mother’s arms the following day on the steps of the private Lindo wing, where the world’s media had been camped outside for days.

It was the same hospital that his father, Prince William, was born at 31 years earlier.

The bells of Westminster Abbey rang out in celebration and a wood-and-gold easel outside Buckingham Palace formally announced the birth.

While it had taken seven days for Charles and Princess Diana to announce William’s name, George’s was revealed two days after his birth. Weighing 8lb 6oz, he was born third in line to the throne.

His great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, saw her third great-grandchild for the first time at Kensington Palace on July 24.

Shortly afterwards, Kate and William took George to her family home in Bucklebury, Berkshire, where he was introduced to her parents Carole and Michael and her siblings Pippa and James.

George went on his first royal tour at just eight months old, when his parents took him to Australia and New Zealand in April 2014.

The youngest of the trio, Prince Louis, was also born at St Mary’s on April 23, 2018.

As he has gotten older, George has joined his father at sporting events, including watching the cricket, rugby and football.

He has been to Aston Villa matches, the FA Cup final and England’s clash with Spain in the Euro 2024 final earlier this month.

As George approaches secondary school age, there has also been speculation over where he will spend his next stage of education.

Prince William attended the prestigious Eton College while Kate went to Marlborough School in Buckinghamshire.

William and Kate visited both as they looked into options for George.

But it emerged earlier this year that the couple had added Oundle School in Peterborough to their list of options for their eldest son.

The £34,000-a-year co-educational school in north Northamptonshire dates from 1556 but has a modern ethos, boasting on its website: ‘We have a responsibility to ensure that every single member of the school community takes both individual and collective action towards environmental sustainability.’

Handwritten letters and cards from Diana, Princess of Wales, have revealed the sweet relationship between Prince William and Harry when they were growing up.

The letters, addressed to Diana’s parents’ housekeeper Violet Collison (affectionately known as Collie by the princess), are to be sold at auction.

Violet was head housekeeper to John Spencer and Frances Roche at Park House on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk where Diana spent her childhood years, even witnessing her birth.

Sweet handwritten thank-you notes and a decade of correspondence are being auctioned off next week, and share some moving insights into the relationship between a young William and Harry.

In one letter, estimated to be worth £1,200 and written from Kensington Palace on September 25, 1984, Diana thanked Collie for a gift of some bibs for baby Harry.

She noted that ‘William adores his little brother & spends the entire time pouring an endless supply of hugs & kisses over Harry’.

She joked that the display was ‘wonderful to watch, if we’re allowed near!’ demonstrating the inseparable bond between the two young royals.

The depiction of a tactile and loving relationship between William and his baby brother is a far cry from their famously frosty connection these days.

In his book, Spare, Harry went as far to call William his ‘archnemesis’ and said the pair have always ‘competed’ and detailed physical altercations between the pair.

It is believed the trigger that caused the rift to develop between William and Harry was when the then Duke of Cambridge advised his younger sibling to ‘take things slow’ when he first began dating Meghan Markle in 2017.

Relations became so sour that they reportedly didn’t talk for weeks after Harry’s wedding, where William was best man.

Harry and Meghan’s decision to step down as senior royals in 2020 – informally known as Megxit – and the way it was handled, left William and Charles devastated.

In the documentary – Harry & Meghan: An African Journey – the Duke of Sussex admitted he and William are ‘certainly on different paths at the moment’.

A source previously told People that the brothers’ relationship is ‘forever changed’ and they ‘won’t get back to the way they were’. Harry is looking straight ahead at his future with his family,’ they added.

Diana’s correspondence, which is being auctioned by Sworders in Stansted Mountfitchet in Essex, reveals that Collie remained in Diana’s thoughts throughout her life.

Most of the letters to Collie are thank-you notes for birthday and Christmas presents given to Diana and her children, William and Harry.

These notes often include a line or two about Diana’s life at the time.

One double-sided letter in the collection – penned on Buckingham Palace headed notepaper and dated just three weeks before Charles and Diana’s wedding – is expected to fetch £1,200.

‘Everyone frantically busy here doing last minute decorations on the house and things like that,’ it reads.

‘Family all far too excited and, at the moment, the bride to be has remained quite calm!’

Luke Macdonald, head of art and estates at Sworders, said: ‘Violet Collison, Collie, was Diana’s parents’ housekeeper when they lived at Park House. She knew Diana from when she was born and remained a constant in her life.

‘At all points she would try to return to see Collie. When she stayed at Sandringham she would escape to see Collie without her security.’

He expressed that they offer a ‘lovely chapter in the history of Diana’.

He writes: ‘I have been thinking so much of you yesterday and today, knowing how deeply you will be affected by yesterday’s tragic news about dear Liz.

‘My heart bleeds for you as I can imagine so well the utter agony and despair you must have gone through during all these heart-rendering months that you have known about Liz’s illness.

‘All of us who know you-and are so fond you both-have felt the agony in a far lesser way of course, but have longed to wave a magic wand to transform the situation.

‘I often think that that is the worst part of all-being unable to help in any constructive way except to say constant prayers in the background & to try and surround you both with love & affection & concern.

‘I can so well imagine the unbearable emptiness you must feel at this time; the sense of bewilderment & confusion that accompanies the removal of someone still so young from this world.

‘Personally, I believe that there is another dimension beyond this physical one & that we will be amazed to discover it for ourselves when we are eventually-or at a moment-called upon to make that certain journey for ourselves.

‘As it says in the Bible-‘Now we see through a glass darkly, but then face to face.’

‘I can’t tell you how pleased & happy I am to have known Liz. She was such a great life-enhancer.

‘I thought you might just find a very small speck of comfort from this short piece of profoundly wise verse by William Blake and, together with this, I enclose a few ‘Highgrove things’ as a token of immense, affectionate sympathy.’

It is unclear who the Peter is that Charles is addressing, or the identity of ‘dear Liz’.

The three page handwritten letter on Highgrove House letterhead, dated December 8, 1997 and signed ‘Charles’, has emerged for sale for £1,500 ($2,000) at RR Auction, of Boston, US.

It comes with its original envelope which had Charles’s instructions for it to be delivered ‘by hand’.

An RR spokesperson said: ‘This lengthy handwritten letter to ‘Peter’ expresses his sympathy upon the death of a loved one.

‘Charles was likely particularly emotional at the time he wrote the letter, as Princess Diana had tragically passed away just a few months before in August 1997.’

Diana was killed in a car crash in Paris aged 36 on August 31, 1997.

The timed sale ends on August 14.

Princess Diana would have been ‘broken-hearted’ over Prince William and Prince Harry’s feud, RICHARD KAY tells PALACE CONFIDENTIAL

The late Princess Diana would have been ‘broken-hearted’ about Prince William and Prince Harry‘s feud, according to a royal expert.

Richard Kay, editor-at-large for the Daily Mail, told the Mail+’s weekly talk show that if Diana was still alive, the ‘tussle’ between her two sons would not exist.

Tensions have been rising between the Princes ever since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex quit their roles as senior working members of the Royal Family in January 2020, before moving to America in June of that year at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Kay, who was a very good friend of Princess Diana and would speak with her up to six times a day, said Harry and William have been fighting over her ‘legacy’.

He told Palace Confidential: ‘[They’ve] been tussling over Diana’s legacy, they’ve been pulling apart Diana’s legacy, [and picking] which part suits them best. I think it’s a great tragedy.

‘What I knew about Diana was, first and above all, was her love for her sons, that was clear to the whole world, she loved those boys. I think she would’ve been broken-hearted.

‘The big question is, would it have still happened had Diana still been with us? My own view is that it probably wouldn’t have because she would’ve remained the pivotal figure in both their lives and prevented the fallout from happening.’

Harry and William have endured a famously frosty relationship in recent years – with the Prince of Wales not seeing his younger brother during his whirlwind trip to the UK in May.

In his memoir, Spare, Harry went as far to call William his ‘archnemesis’ and said the duo have always ‘competed’ and detailed alleged physical altercations between the pair.

It is believed the trigger that caused the rift to first develop between William and Harry was when the then Duke of Cambridge advised his younger sibling to ‘take things slow’ when he first began dating Meghan Markle in 2017.

Relations soured more after Megxit and a source previously told People that the brothers’ relationship is ‘forever changed’ and they ‘won’t get back to the way they were’. ‘Harry is looking straight ahead at his future with his family,’ they added.

Meanwhile, Kay said he believed Princess Diana – who died in a car crash in Paris in 1997 – would have been ‘proud’ of William and Kate for stepping into their places as Prince and Princess of Wales.

‘I think she would’ve been proud of William and Catherine and what a stylish edition they’ve made and how they’ve seamlessly stepped into hers and Charles’ shoes with a young family,’ he added.

But the royal expert also said that Diana would have been ‘hugely jealous’ of the fact that Prince Harry was able to ‘break away’ from The Firm.

‘You’ve got to remember, Diana was a radical, she was very unhappy, she was trapped within the royal system, she did try and break away, she couldn’t quite before her death,’ Kay said.

‘I think she would’ve been fiercely proud of the fact that Harry has chosen a life outside of the royal circle.’

Kay and host Jo Elvin also spoke about Harry’s controversial acceptance of the Pat Tillman Award last month.

He was an iconic NFL player who gave up his lucrative career to enlist in the army in the wake of 9/11 before his death in Afghanistan in 2004.

Tillman’s own mother Mary revealed to DailyMail.com that she was ‘shocked’ that the ESPYs would ‘select such a controversial and divisive individual to receive the award’, adding that she was not consulted over the decision.

‘There are recipients that are far more fitting. There are individuals working in the veteran community that are doing tremendous things to assist veterans,’ she said.

‘These individuals do not have the money, resources, connections or privilege that Prince Harry has. I feel that those types of individuals should be recognised.’

During his speech, Prince Harry said: ‘[Mary’s] advocacy for Pat’s legacy is deeply personal and one that I respect.  The bond between a mother and son is eternal and transcends even the greatest losses.’

Kay said the Duke of Sussex was speaking about his relationship with his mother and the bond they had.

‘It was clearly a reference to Princess Diana and his losing her at such a young age,’ he said.

‘I think it was also a subtle way of him reaching out to Pat Tillman’s mother who publicly expressed a strong view that Prince Harry was not the right person to be accepting the award.

‘I think he was trying to amend bridges in the way he did it, but a lot of people were not impressed.’

Romeo Beckham looks practically identical to dad David after dyeing his hair platinum blonde — and the former soccer star couldn’t help but troll him about it!

Romeo, 18, has rocked long, flowing golden blonde hair for quite some time. But he just recently buzzed it off and bleached it to an icier shade reminiscent of the platinum hue his dad David, 46, had in the 2000s.

The budding model debuted the bright blonde switch-up on Instagram and thanked colorist Josh Wood for the look. “Here’s to expressing yourself through colour & a transformational cut ,” Wood wrote.

Romeo’s mom Victoria Beckham gave the style her stamp of approval. “Wow!!!! Love!!!!” she wrote on her son’s post.

Romeo shared another photo of his fresh hairstyle and David left a lighthearted comment about his son’s inspiration for the cut and color.

“Nice hair  @romeobeckham,” David said. “I wonder where u got that idea from .”

Nowadays David is sporting a slightly longer style in his natural brown color, but rocked the blonde hue in 2008 (pictured above).

Fans spotted the resemblance right away. “@davidbeckham Beckham, I can tell he has surely copied this hair from you. Beckham you had the best hairstyles ever, and you still have. This hairstyle was when you joined the LA Galaxy in 2007, Beckham, so amazing!!!!! #Beckham ,” one person commented. Someone else wrote, “@davidbeckham Like his dad in the 90’s/00s .”

Romeo has started to make his own mark on the fashion industry as he’s grown up, most notably landing his first magazine cover for L’Uomo Vogue‘s Generation Issue in January. And he’s gotten nothing but support from his famous family.

“incredible!! ,” said Romeo’s soon-to-be sister-in-law Nicola Peltz, who got engaged to the model’s older brother Brooklyn Beckham, 22, in July 2020.

David posted the magazine cover on his own Instagram feed and congratulated his son on the accomplishment. He wrote: “So proud of you @romeobeckham  What an incredible first cover for @luomovogue.”

Victoria and David Beckham’s new feathered family members appear to be settling in nicely!

On Sunday, the couple gave their fans a little update on their new chickens and cockerel, which were a Christmas gift from Victoria to her husband. The former Spice Girl, 49, posted a photo of the young rooster standing in a beam of sunlight at the door of their coop.

“Wow what a handsome Cock!!! ,” she quipped in her caption, crediting the photo to David, 48.

David replied to her cheeky post in the comment section, “You are welcome @victoriabeckham . Good morning.”

The retired soccer star shared a similar photo of the cockerel — an immature rooster — on his Instagram Story with the caption, “Coming out to say good morning.”

In a follow-up photo, the bird was captured with its wings out on the stairs to the coop. “Taking flight,” David wrote over the image, adding an animated rooster for comedic effect.

The former model announced the launch of his new hot brand last month and his family have been in full support.

Cloud 23, named after the No.23 jersey his father wore at Real Madrid and LA Galaxy, comes in two variants – Sweet Jalapeno and Hot Habanero.

‘I did my research and I just felt like there was this hole in the market with luxury condiments, especially for a really good price,’ Brooklyn told Delish magazine.

Explaining his move into condiments, he said, ‘I’ve always been a foodie. I’ve always been lucky enough to travel to different places in the world with my mum and dad. Obviously my dad with football, we lived in Madrid, we lived in LA, Milan.

‘Then Covid happened, I met my wife and started cooking for her and just fell in love with it. And now it’s just something that just takes my mind off of things.’

Brooklyn and his wife were initially linked after they were spotted in each other’s company during a Halloween party in 2019.

The happy couple went Instagram official with their relationship the following January, and got engaged that July.

They went on to tie the knot during a lavish wedding ceremony that took place in Palm Beach in April 2022.

Brooklyn opened up about married life at the Cannes Lions International Festival Of Creativity in June.

He said: ‘It’s so important to find that one person you want to spend the rest of your life with. I married my best mate so it’s the best.’

Brooklyn also confirmed he does all the cooking and cleaning at home, saying: ‘My wife can’t cook at all.’

The former model said he and Nicola are homebodies who generally prefer to ‘dine in’ rather than go out.

Discussing his passion for food, Brooklyn told how he was lucky to be exposed to a wide variety of cuisines while travelling with his father David as a child.

The pair are competitive with each other in the kitchen and have had cook-offs judged by Nicola and Brooklyn’s mother Victoria.

Children born to the rich and famous most likely have it all; power, money, their parents dazzling good looks, and a lifetime pass to the elite nepo baby club.

It seems one criteria for the exclusive clique is dating a fellow star – one thrust from the loins of a celebrity – as seen in the prestigious unions between Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, Eric Murphy and Jasmine Lawrence, and Phoebe Gates and Arthur Donald to name a few.

More than just a gorgeous pairing; Brooklyn and Nicola have inherited power couple status from their super famous parents; David and Victoria Beckham, as well as New York-born billionaire Nelson Peltz and his wife Claudia Heffner.

His parents are among Hollywood elite and she stands to inherit a sum of her father’s whopping $1.3 billion fortune one day; so it’s only right their love reeks of wealth.

Brooklyn Beckham, 25, is the eldest child of Posh and Becks –  also known as David, 49, and Victoria Beckham, 50. Their combined football, celebrity and fashion empires have created a fortune in excess of £450 million.

Though eye-watering, their fortune is less than half of their family-in-law’s astounding $1.3 billion estate. Nicola, 29, is the daughter of Jewish-American entrepreneur Nelson Peltz, 82, and his model wife Claudia Heffner, 69, of whom both share eight children.

Brooklyn and Nicola of course first met at a gathering of fellow celebrities; the 2017 Coachella music festival in California, but they didn’t start dating until 2019.

The now husband and wife first went public with their relationship in 2020 by posting a snap on Instagram; Brooklyn proposed with a $324,700 emerald and diamond ring in July the same year.

Their high profile relationship has been decorated with the sort of lavishness that one could only imagine, including luxury yacht trips, multimillion properties and a designer wardrobe to rival the queen of style herself, Victoria Beckham.

Despite being surrounded by wealth, the couple do have their own things going on, although not at the level of their powerful parents.

While this nepo baby pairing may still be news to some, their romance was clearly hot on the horizon.

Phoebe Gates, 22, is the last born daughter of billionaire Microsoft founder Bill Gates, 69, and his ex-wife – now too a billionaire – Melinda, 60. Her parents are worth north of $160 billion combined.

Arthur Alistair Donald, 25, is the only grandchild to appear on our list, and boasts Beatles legend and billionaire Paul McCartney, 82, as his granddad. His parents are Paul’s daughter Mary McCartney, 55, and her ex husband Alistair Donald, a director and producer, 58.

Through their wealth and connections, the couple were destined to meet; with the friendship between their powerful families going back decades since they were young children.

Meanwhile, Paul’s daughter, acclaimed fashion designer Stella McCarthy, became close to Bill’s ex wife Melinda and has been mentoring Phoebe in her fashion career.

But for Phoebe and Arthur, their love officially blossomed in October 2023 which they confirmed with an Instagram snap of the two hanging out in Paris.

She also openly referred to Arthur as her ‘boyfriend’ while documenting her Stanford graduation in an online blog for Nylon.

‘My boyfriend, Arthur, giving me a lift post-ceremony,’ Phoebe wrote in the post for for her graduation – alongside a loved-up snap of her beau giving her a piggyback.

The offspring of a real estate executive and music royalty are perhaps not the most obvious nepo baby pairing; nevertheless, they both came up in money.

The Stranger Things actress, 20, was born to British real estate agent, Robert and his wife Kelly Brown in Marbella, Spain. Though not much is known about the exact sum of Robert’s wealth, he earned enough to pack up ship and move to America to help Millie with her acting.

Meanwhile Jake, 22, was born to high school sweethearts Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley, both 62, in 2002. His father Jon is a rock legend and New Jersey native who once fronted group Bon Jovi. He is worth an nearly half a billion dollars.

Their paths were destined to cross with Eddie, 63, and Martin, 59, having collaborated on past comedy films such as 1991’s Boomerang and 1992’s Life.

Their children are still together and even made an appearance at the red carpet premiere of movie Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F in July.

Recently Eddie opened up about his son’s relationship and the idea of comedy running in the family: ‘They’re both beautiful, they look amazing together’ he said. ‘And it’s funny, everybody’s like, “What is that baby gonna be funny?” Our gene pool is gonna make this funny baby’.

The Coming To America star doesn’t have to look too far as both his son and Jasmine have followed their parents’ career paths into entertainment.

Eric is a writer, voice actor and producer, and most recently revealed that he worked on Automated Dialogue Replacement on his father’s Beverly Hills Cop movie.

Meanwhile Jasmin, who graduated from Duke University in 2018, appeared in her dad’s hit film Bad Boys for Life.

Although both Frances Bean Cobain and Riley Hawk grew up in money – they have lived very different lives

The descendant of a 90s rock star has found love in the arms of a famous skateboarder’s son.

The world learned Frances Bean Cobain and Riley Hawk were an item in 2022, with rumours first swirling on Reddit, when one user posted a photo of them out at dinner together with Riley’s parents, Tony and Catherine.

Frances Cobain, 32, is the daughter of Hole frontwoman and actress Courtney Love, and Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, who is regarded as one of the most influential alternative rock musicians in the world.

Riley Hawk, 31, was born to skateboarding legend, Tony Hawk, 56, and his ex wife Cindy Dunbar, whom Tony was married to from 1990 until 1993. He is Tony’s oldest son.

Kurt and Courtney’s combined estate is thought to sit in the region of half a billion dollars, while Riley’s father brings in north of $100 million.

And while the two may have generational wealth in common, Frances’ life of tragedy differs profoundly from that of her famous partner’s.

Being born to two of the biggest stars in the world meant Frances was thrust into the spotlight almost immediately – and thanks to her parents’ very-public infatuation with the wild side, she was also the subject of scandal very quickly.

When Frances was just two-years old, her father Kurt Cobain passed away after committing suicide inside his Lake Washington Boulevard home on April 5, 1994.

On the 30th anniversary of the singer’s death earlier this year, Frances reflected on the loss by penning a heartbreaking tribute on Instagram.

‘The biggest lesson learned through grieving for almost as long as I’ve been conscious, is that it serves a purpose’ she wrote.

She added: ‘As It turns out, there is no greater motivation for leaning into loving awareness than knowing everything ends.

‘I wish I could’ve known my dad. I wish I knew the cadence of his voice, how he liked his coffee or the way it felt to be tucked in after a bedtime story’.

When she was 11, she witnessed her mom overdosing on painkillers, after which the youngster made the actress some tea while they waited for the ambulance together.

Like her parents, Frances has struggled with addiction which she blames on having access to so much money at a young age.

She inherited all of her famous father’s $140 million earnings after his death, and reportedly receives an additional $100,000 each month from his royalties.

Frances has spoken negatively about her wealth, explaining that it’s made her feel extremely ‘guilty’ and left her spending ‘excessively’ – but she turned her life around after suffering from a near-death experience on an airplane and has now been sober for years.

Despite her celebrity roots, she’s made it clear that she doesn’t want anything to do with Hollywood – calling it ‘pretentious, sh**ty, and filled to the brim with the worst people she’s ever met’. She has even turned down many movie roles over the years, including Bella Swan in Twilight.

For the aspiring musician and visual artist, it appears the controversy is all behind her as she looks ahead to a new life with her famous partner Riley. The pair tied the knot in a ceremony in Los Angeles in October 2023 and have since welcomed their first child together.

They officially began dating in 2019 and became betrothed the next year, before saying ‘I do’ in 2021 with a ceremony at Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado.

‘It was one of those situations where I knew the second I met him that I wanted to be his wife one day. So, it was just a matter of when, really,’ the actress previously shared on Live with Kelly and Ryan.

Despite growing up around fame, Lily admitted she only first realised the level of her father’s fame when they were on a family trip to Disneyland when she was a child.

Speaking candidly to Radio Times in 2020 she remembered seeing a man sporting a t-shirt with the music icon’s face on his t-shirt.

‘I was thinking, “Why does he want a picture of my dad, and why is my dad on his T-shirt?”. Slowly but surely, I started to understand’ she told the publication.

Lily continues to maker her own waves after starring in smash hit Netflix series, Emily In Paris where she portrays the role of Emily Cooper who moved to Paris to work as a social media strategist.

Meanwhile last month, Charlie’s famous parents, Malcolm McDowell and Mary Steenburgen, who divorced in 1990, and his stepfather Ted Danson, stepped out to support him at The North American premiere of Charlie McDowell’s drama film, The Summer Book.
