Is Meghan Markle Sending Shady Hidden Message To Royal Family By Wearing THIS Dress?? Fans Think So!

Meghan Markle Sends Hidden Message To Royals By Wearing THIS Shady Dress To Nigeria Trip!

Fans think Meghan Markle is being SUPER shady by wearing this dress on her first international tour since leaving the royal family!

After Prince Harry‘s brief UK visit, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Nigeria on Friday. There they’ll spend the next three days visiting local charities and meeting with wounded soldiers. Their first engagement was speaking about mental health at a local school, where the Meghan stepped out in a backless peach maxi dress that has EVERYONE talking! Why??

It’s not the look of the dress — which is totally fine, as you can see below:

It ain’t the neckline! No, it’s because of its name. See, the dress is called the “Windsor”!

    OMG!

Because it’s Meghan many took the act of donning a garment with that name as a slight against her in-laws. Fans took to X (Twitter) to call out the supposed shade, writing:

“Im convinced she is doing this on purpose at this point. Infamy is her goal — not approval. She is taking a page out of Wallis’s handbook”

    “Done as a snub. DEFINITELY”

“They have been trying to erase the Windsors from their lives completely, but here comes Mrs. Sussex wearing a dress called ‘Windsor’, haha!! Even Mr. & Mrs. Sussex realises they are nothing without the real Windsors  #FauxRoyals”

    Oof!

To be fair, the ‘fit was designed by Heidi Merrick and comes from a 2018 collection. So in all likelihood the Suits alum bought the piece around the time of her wedding. You know, when she was all excited about marrying into the royal fam and becoming a Windsor for real! But now that she’s distanced herself from Harry’s royal relatives amid an ongoing and increasingly messy feud, it’s WILD she still chose to rock this outfit, right?

Meg had to have known fans were gonna find out the name of the dress, right? So, was she trying to be shady on purpose? Is she still proud to be a Windsor? Or was it an honest-to-goodness coincidence? What do y’all think?? Sound OFF (below)!

Harry had been keen to meet his dad but the King’s office said it was not possible

PRINCE Harry’s solo Invictus bash was a clear signal to Charles and William, an expert has said.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, was all smiles at St Paul’s Cathedral on Wednesday during another whistle-stop tour to the UK in which he didn’t visit his dad or brother.

Despite the King being just two miles away from his youngest son, Charles was too busy hosting Buckingham Palace’s first Garden party of the year to meet him.

However, Harry was backed by Princess Diana’s siblings Earl Spencer and Lady Jane Fellowes at the service marking 10 years of his Invictus Games.

Ingrid Seward, editor of Majesty magazine and friend of Princess Diana, said the Spencers’ presence was significant.

She said: “They are very supportive of Harry and always have been.

“It sends a clear signal to the Royal Family and to Harry that Diana’s family are there for him.

“At his address at Diana’s funeral, Charles Spencer said he would look out for William and Harry in her place.

“He said, ‘We your blood family will do all we can to continue the imaginative way in which you were steering theses two exceptional young men so that their souls are not simply immersed by duty and tradition but can sing openly as you had planned’.

“Charles Spencer wanted the Spencer family to be prominent above all others, but the boys were sucked up by the Royal Family.

“Now that Harry has left the Royal Family, the Spencers have laid claim to him again.”

Harry hugged his late mum’s brother and sister Earl Spencer, 59, and Lady Jane Fellowes, 67, outside St Paul’s ahead of the service yesterday.

Three cousins — George McCorquodale, 39, Louis Spencer, 30, and Lara Spencer, 18 — sat in a row behind Harry.

Just down the road, the King, Queen Camilla and other royals mingled among 8,000 guests on the Palace lawns.

Harry had been keen to meet his dad on a three-day UK visit, but on Tuesday his office said it was not possible due to the King’s busy diary.

A decade ago Charles, Camilla and Prince William had joined Harry at the first Invictus Games in London.

Yesterday, Harry arrived at 5pm and greeted his aunt and uncle before taking his seat.

The King, back to public duties despite cancer treatment, led the royals at Buckingham Palace from 4pm.

Also on the lawns were Princess Anne, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Edward and Sophie, plus the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

The only working royals missing were the Prince and Princess of Wales.

William had conducted an investiture in Windsor earlier in the day, and Kate is not carrying out public duties due to her own cancer fight.

Applause erupted from the crowds as the royal party arrived on the Palace terrace.

A timeline of Prince Harry and William’s ‘feud’: Brothers ‘at war’

In 2018, the Sun told how “simmering tension” began when William questioned the speed of Harry and Meghan’s engagement.

The first hints of friction reportedly came after William was introduced to Meghan when she was staying at Kensington Palace.

Once she’d returned home to Canada, William and Harry sat down for a brother-to-brother chat.

He knew Harry was already head-over-heels for her but it has been claimed he advised him to take it slowly.

The younger prince reportedly didn’t take too kindly to the advice, with one royal source saying he “went mental”.

Then in June 2019 Harry and Meghan officially split off from the charity they shared with William and Kate.

The Royal Foundation will be divided between the Sussexes and Cambridges as the couples focus on their own separate charitable endeavours.

Prince William and Prince Harry first established the Royal Foundation in 2009 before Kate joined two years later shortly after their engagement was announced.

The trio would often appear together at events and the Foundation had huge successes with projects like the Invictus Games for injured veterans and the mental health Heads Together campaign.

The Royal Foundation said the decision was made following the conclusion of a review into its structure – but added both couples will continue to work together in the future.

Harry and Meg were living in close proximity to Kate and Wills within the Kensington Palace estate, but they switched to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor before baby Archie was born.

The move further increased rumours of a fallout.

Harry, 39, also hinted in his ITV documentary “Harry and Meghan, An African Journey” that he and his brother had grown apart.

It came after Prince Philip called Meghan the “D.O.W” after the Duchess of Windsor — the American divorcee who led Edward VIII to abdicate.

And he warned the late Queen to be “cautious” of Harry’s then bride-to-be, a royal author claims.

Ingrid Seward revealed in new book My Mother And I that Prince Philip felt it was “uncanny…how much Meghan reminded him of the Duchess of Windsor”.

In 2021, Harry and Meghan give their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey where Harry accused his dad of cutting him off financially.

Harry then jetted back to UK to join William in unveiling a statue to their mother Princess Diana in the grounds of Kensington Palace. But sources claimed William didn’t want to attend the memorial amid their ongoing rift.

In 2022, just before their grandmother the Queen died, sources claimed Kate acts as a “peacemaker” between the brothers.

Last year Harry claimed his brother “knocked him to the floor” during an argument about Meghan.

In his book Spare, Harry said William branded Meghan “rude” and “difficult” during a row.

Harry alleged William “grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and … knocked me to the floor”.

He said he was left with a visible injury to his back following the argument in 2019 at Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace, where he was living at the time.

In January this year, Harry flew in to be with Charles after the monarch’s shock cancer diagnosis.

Harry flew back to the US the following day – without seeing Wills.

The King then began greeting charity heroes with warm handshakes and big smiles. He was heard saying: “I’m not doing badly”. Asked ‘How are you feeling?’, he replied: “Not too bad.”

He chatted with Royal Commonwealth Society members plus Team GB’s synchronised swimming team — promising to watch them at the Paris Olympics.

In all, he spent around an hour with guests despite doctors “calibrating” his engagements.

This morning he will meet the 3 Royal School of Military Engineering (3RSME) at Gibraltar Barracks in Surrey.

He and Harry have not seen each other since February when the US-based Duke flew 5,000 miles following his father’s diagnosis.

The pair then spoke for just 30 minutes. Today is Harry’s last in the UK before he and wife Meghan visit Nigeria for Invictus events.

King Charles would rather impale himself on a rusty sword than meet with Prince Harry who’s wrought such vengeful misery

King Charles has finally made his feelings about his two-faced son crystal clear

    GOOD for King Charles!

That was my first reaction when I heard that he’d given a big regal middle finger to his treacherous youngest son Harry.

King Charles will not be meeting Prince Harry due to a ‘scheduling issue’

Let’s be honest: if Charles had really wanted to see him, he’d have made the time.

That’s the whole point of being a King, you get to do what the hell you like.

But it’s clear from his bombshell and emphatic ‘scheduling issue’ that Charles would rather impale himself on a rusty sword than meet up with someone who has wrought such vengeful misery on the Royal Family for so many years now.

Kate needs protecting – I know how the conspiracies could have been stopped

If you want to know why he refused to see Harry, look no further than the pathetically self-serving statement rushed out from the ‘Office of the Duke of Sussex’ which concluded: ‘The Duke, of course, is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.’

Yep, that’s right Harry – your dad has more important things to do, like hosting a Buckingham Palace garden party tomorrow with thousands of complete strangers.

He would literally rather be exchanging small talk and munching sandwiches with people he’s never met than endure a second in your malevolent company.

    And who can blame him?

At least he’ll be spending time with people who are happy and grateful to see him, not like Harry who’s now become a permanently whining, snarling, fuming spoiled little brat who relishes publicly attacking his father, his father’s wife, his brother, and his brother’s wife.

    Two-faced son

But nobody should underestimate just what a big, significant moment this is.

Ever since Harry and his wife Meghan ditched Britain and royal duty for life in California, and then spent every second of their supposed ‘freedom’ viciously trashing their family on TV, and in books and interviews, Charles has maintained a dignified silence, refusing to take the bait.

But now, knowing the eyes of the world are on him as he edges slowly back into public life after being diagnosed with cancer, he’s finally made his feelings about his two-faced son crystal clear.

Charles is so disgusted, he won’t even give him the time of day

Harry’s officially persona non royal grata, from the Monarch down, and it’s no less than he deserves for his despicable behaviour.

Charles is so disgusted, he won’t even give him the time of day.

And if that was one of my sons, I’d feel exactly the same way.

Experts have claimed the Sussex are undergoing a ‘global rebrand’

MEGHAN Markle has launched her new lifestyle brand by sending 50 jars of jam to friends and influencers.

But a branding expert has said that in order for the Duchess of Sussex to succeed in her new venture, she needs to show the “warm, real side of her”.

American Riviera Orchard will reportedly sell home goods, such as cookbooks, food and kitchenware when it launches for the public.

PR guru Abesi Manyando told the Telegraph that Meghan should take a leaf out of reality star Kim Kardashian’s book with her brand.

They said: “When she was in the UK, Meghan was very good at speaking with people on the ground and showing empathy and emotion. To really harness her power, she needs to make content that’s not so glossy and edited and considered. I’d like to see more of that warm, real side of her.

“That’s how people make a connection to a personal brand and that’s how you can feel relatable even when you have such a high net worth and status.

“Kim Kardashian is a master of this.”

    Sussex rebrand

We recently shared how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have hired a new communication officer, Charlie Gipson, who will represent them in the UK.

It’s the first time since ‘Megxit’ – when the couple stepped down from royal duties in 2020 – that they have hired a permanent member of staff who is based in the UK.

Some people have been hailing the new hiring as being part of Meghan and Harry’s global rebrand, which has been dubbed “Heghan 2.0.”

Abesi claimed that Meghan “realised that she needed a UK publicist to ‘read the room’.”

This was due to “backlash” of her brand launch at a time when King Charles and Kate Middleton are undergoing cancer treatment, and the UK is having a cost of living crisis.

Meghan Markle is having her ‘Momtrepeneur’ thunder stolen by Princess Kate again & again – she’ll be fuming
The PR expert said the American Riviera Orchard launch timing “wasn’t as sensitive as it could have been.”

And it has been suggested the couple need a fresh start following criticism over their Netflix documentary, Harry’s bombshell Spare memoir, and Meghan having a low popularity with the public in a recent poll.

Abesi also shared how Meghan should shake up her Archetypes podcast to make it a success, following Spotify ending their deal last June.

She added: “When it comes to her podcast, I’d advise Meghan to champion real people with interesting stories from under-represented backgrounds, rather than just using her celebrity friends.”

When she was in the UK, Meghan was very good at speaking with people on the ground and showing empathy and emotion. To really harness her power, she needs to make content that’s not so glossy and edited and considered. I’d like to see more of that warm, real side of her

    Meghan’s products

A trademark application for ‘American Riviera Orchard’ showed Meghan could sell cutlery, decanters, legume-based spreads and even napkin rings.

So far the launch of the brand has been teased by Meghan sending branded jams to 50 close friends and some influencers, including Chrissy Teigen, Heather Dorak, Tracy Robbins and Kris Jenner.

Many royal fans have posted their enthusiasm for the launch on social media, with one saying: “So excited for these lovely heavenly jams from American Riviera Orchard, a wellness brand I will subscribe to!”

Another added: “The more things they add to the list of potential products for American Riviera Orchard, the more excited I get. I’ll buy everything there.”

What is Meghan Markle’s new business?

Meghan Markle has launched a new Instagram brand called American Riviera Orchard.

Industry insiders said the site will focus on home, food, garden and lifestyle goods.

A source told the Mail: “It’s a lifestyle and cooking brand called American Riviera Orchard.

“The brand is meant to coincide with the launch of a new cookery show for Netflix.

“Meghan will be making, and selling, products such as jams. And at some point there will be a book and blog etc.”

Currently the Instagram page has 617,000 followers, despite the page only having nine images showing the beautiful logo.

This follows Meghan, 42, closing her former lifestyle page, The Tig, in April 2017, shortly after she started dating Prince Harry.

    Sussex shows

We recently shared how the Duchess of Sussex is set to launch a new series on “cooking, gardening and friendship”.

She and Harry have two untitled non-fiction projects in production.

The shows form part of the “creative partnership” Archewell Productions signed with the streaming giant in 2020.

The first series will focus on Meghan and explore “the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship”, according to Deadline.

The second series will follow the couple’s love of professional polo.

Primarily shot at the US Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida, the project will be produced by Boardwalk Pictures.

Prince Harry, 39, is known as a keen polo player.

The couple launched their documentary Harry and Meghan in 2022, offering an insight into their relationship.

  • Why Prince William Is Trying To Keep His Inner Circle Small Amid Princess Catherine’s Cancer Battle

Why Prince William Is Trying To Keep His Inner Circle Small Amid Princess Catherine’s Cancer Battle

Why Prince William Is Trying To Keep His Inner Circle Small & Tight Amid Princess Catherine's Cancer Battle

Stiff upper lip, and all that.

Prince William is doing the best he can to keep a proverbial lid on things as he endures his wife Princess Catherine‘s scary and unexpected battle with cancer. That his father King Charles is also dealing with a cancer diagnosis has made things doubly difficult for the 41-year-old Prince of Wales and the rest of his family. And in response to these terrifying challenges, he’s closing ranks.

People spoke to royal sources early on Thursday morning, and they revealed that Kate Middleton‘s beloved husband is “not leaning on too many others” as his wife and father both fight cancer. Instead of opening his circle for a wide array of support, William has taken things internally to show private emotional support for Kate — and most especially for their children Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.

A second royal source confirmed that first insider’s claim by noting William is relying heavily only on “the nuclear family unit” of their immediately family of five. He does have key support from two other people outside of their nuclear family, though: Kate’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton.

William has always been close to Carole in particular ever since he and Kate got together. And now, that bond is apparently flourishing behind closed doors despite the development coming under very difficult circumstances. The insider explained:

“I imagine he is leaning on them really hard.”

As for Princess Catherine, she too has (obviously) pulled momma Carole in even closer than ever:

“You can let down your barriers when it’s your mother.”

Ugh. We can understand that. No matter how old you get, you always need your mother when times get tough.

As you may already be thinking, these new insider quotes track pretty closely with our reporting from Wednesday in which William was revealed to be “digging deep” for strength amid his 42-year-old wife’s uncertain health battle. But one thing all this is not affecting is how William goes about his long-term outlook regarding the monarchy. These dual health crises haven’t forced a newfound focus on the Prince of Wales’ fate, an insider explains, because he has long been prepping for that part:

“It won’t have suddenly made him think more about the future role. That’s something he has thought about for years, if not decades.”

    Makes sense.

As for his fractured relationship with Prince Harry, that is one spot in which Wills could use some help — but as of now, he ain’t gonna get it. Royal biographer Ingrid Seward sadly explained to the mag:

“William would have always imagined he would have Harry alongside him. Going forward, that puts responsibility more on William and his family. There is no one else to take the slack.”

Oof. Clearly, it’s a lot. Royal or not, battling a cancer diagnosis in the family — and now two of them, to boot — is a massive and daunting challenge. Sending love and light!

  • Why Royal Family Didn’t Attend Prince Harry’s Invictus Games Event — And Where They Were Instead!

Why Royal Family Didn’t Attend Prince Harry’s Invictus Games Event — And Where They Were Instead!

Why the Royal Family Did Not Attend Prince Harry's Invictus Games Service in London -- And Where They Were Instead!

It’s official. None of the royals supported Prince Harry at the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. Oof.

As Perezcious readers know, the Duke of Sussex traveled to England to be there for a ceremony to mark the milestone occasion for the sports competition he created on Wednesday. While the 39-year-old extended invites to his estranged relatives as an olive branch, King Charles III‘s team was quick to shut down reconciliation speculation by revealing his calendar was too full to meet up with his son. But there was still hope someone — anyone — might show up… but nope!

Unsurprisingly, Prince William and Princess Catherine, along with Charles, were not in attendance at a Service of Thanksgiving held at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Wednesday. They likely stayed away because of the family feud and Kate Middleton‘s cancer battle. As for the other royals? Well, they were all hobnobbing with each other elsewhere!

Harry’s event coincided with the first garden party of the season, held a few miles from Buckingham Palace. That’s where Charles and Queen Camilla were with Princess AnnePrince Edward and his wife Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Prince Richard and Birgitte. Wow! They ALL snubbed Harry! Rough! No word on where Princess Beatrice or Eugenie were.

FWIW, a spokesperson for the Archewell founder previously opened up about His Majesty’s absence, saying:

“In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not The Duke will meet with his father while in the U.K. this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full program. The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”

We guess he’s keeping his head held high and not letting these no-shows get him down! But it’s gotta hurt that nobody bothered to come!

That said, plenty of representatives from the participating nations of the Invictus Games and members of the wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and veteran community showed up. Homeland star Damian Lewis was one of several people who spoke (including Harry), reading a poem called “Invictus.” Hey, having the lead from Band Of Brothers is a pretty nice consolation prize. But still would’ve been nice to have some family in the audience, though!

Prince Harry’s ‘intimate’ revelations in Spare and Oprah interview may be used against him

Prince Harry’s court case against Associated Newspapers could lead to a sticky situation for the former working royal.

Some of Prince Harry’s “most intimate and private” revelations, divulged in his memoir Spare and his and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, could be used against him in court, The Telegraph has reported.

The Duke of Sussex and a number of other celebrities, including Sadie Frost, Sir Elton John, Elizabeth Hurley and Baroness Lawrence of Clarendon, have brought a legal case against Associated Newspapers, the publishers of the Daily Mail.

They have accused the publisher of hiring private investigators to place listening devices inside cars, accessing private records and recording private phonecalls.

The publisher’s written defence was released on Wednesday, with Andrew Caldecott KC and Adrian Beltrami KC claiming that Harry’s case was “without foundation and is an affront to the hard-working professional journalists whose reputations and integrity, as well as that of Associated itself, are wrongly traduced”.

They stated that during the relevant time period the Duke “provided the media with private information about himself”, adding: “The claimant also revealed the most intimate and private matters about himself (as well as his wife and his wider family) in his autobiography, Spare, published in 2023 and, similarly, in interviews given to Tom Bradby and Oprah Winfrey in October 2019, March 2021 and January 2023.

“Associated reserves the right to refer to further such examples following disclosure.”

Associated Newspapers have also argued that Harry has brought this case “opportunistically” following his previous legal claims against Mirror Group Newspapers and News Group Newspapers.

Earlier this year the Duke settled the remaining parts of his case against Mirror Group (MGN), in which he accused them of hacking his phone and “blagging” – gaining information by deception, as well as using private investigators.

Harry’s barrister David Sherborne said MGN will pay Harry “a substantial additional sum by way of damages”, and all of his legal costs.

King Charles wants no part of Prince Harry’s ‘circus’ as expert pinpoints huge problem

King Charles and Prince Harry have not met during the Duke of Sussex’s visit to the UK this week with immediate hopes of a reconciliation dashed.

King Charles snubbed a meeting with Prince Harry because he wanted no part in the “media circus” surrounding his son’s arrival in the UK, a royal expert has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex arrived in London to attend a ceremony to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games on Wednesday.

Harry left the service at St Paul’s Cathedral at around 6.45pm – just a couple of miles from Buckingham Palace, where the King had hosted a garden party.

Earlier this week, a spokesman for the Prince said he would not be meeting his father during his trip to the UK because of His Majesty’s “packed programme”.

But Royal Family expert Robert Jobson believes there is one defining reason for the pair not meeting, warning that father and son are not yet close to any reconciliation.

He told The Sun: “People think if Harry rolls into town there’s going to be some sort of reconciliation.

“But you’re going to realise there’s been a lot of water under the bridge, a lot of betrayal of trust.

“That takes time to rebuild and I don’t think we’re anywhere near the stage of rebuilding trust.

Jobson added: “Harry effectively took it by himself to come see his dad when he said that he had been diagnosed with cancer – that would be seen by as many as a good thing.

“But at the time I think the King didn’t want all the media circus that would accompany Harry’s arrival.”

Harry was last in the UK in February when he rushed back to his home country to visit his father after the monarch’s cancer diagnosis was made public.

Appearing on Good Morning America, the Duke proudly declared “I love my family” before explaining the events leading up to his decision to rush back to the UK the week before.

He said: “I jumped on a plane and went to go see him [the King] as soon as I could. I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”

Harry added that he hoped to see Charles again soon, saying: “I’ve got other trips planned that will take me through the UK, or back to the UK, and so I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can.”

Happy birthday Prince Archie Harrison! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son is celebrating his fifth birthday today.

Despite only being five, Archie’s life has already had incredibly busy moments – including three house moves between the UK and the US and one major royal tour at just a few months old.

Archie was born at London’s Portland Hospital on May 6, 2019 and moved to the US the following year.

Meghan and Harry have made very few public appearances with their children since their move to the US, but delighted fans with some personal pictures and footage of Archie and his younger sister, Princess Lilibet, in their Netflix series in 2022.

Here Express.co.uk looks back at some of Archie’s sweetest moments captured on camera so far.

Meghan and Harry present Archie to the world

Two days after his birth – on May 8, 2019 – Meghan and Harry delighted royal fans by showing off their newborn son to the world in a photocall at St George’s Hall in Windsor Castle. The proud parents, cradling baby Archie, spoke movingly of their “little bundle of joy”. Describing her first few days of motherhood as “magic”, Meghan said: “I mean I have the two best guys in the world so I’m really happy.” Thanking everyone for their “well wishes and kindness”, the now-mother-of-two added: “It just means so much.”

The duo were joined by the now-Princess of Wales and Archie’s cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. During the match, Harry went over to check on his wife and son, and was captured looking down sweetly at his sleeping newborn in Meghan’s arms.

    Prince Archie's first royal tour

In September 2019, Prince Archie marked a major milestone when he joined his parents on a royal visit to South Africa. During their 10-day visit, the then-four-month-old was spotted for the first time as he was introduced to renowned anti-apartheid campaigner Archbishop Desmond Tutu. The appearance of Archie on a royal tour means he is one step ahead of cousin Louis who, at the age of six, has never been on an overseas royal tour.

Meghan then sweetly reminds Archie who the picture is of, adding: “Hey, Grandma…That’s your Grandma.”

Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, is not seeing his father King Charles III while he is in London to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, ABC News has confirmed.

A spokesperson for the duke told ABC News on Tuesday that Charles’ schedule does not allow time for him to see his younger son, who now lives in the United States.

“It unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme,” the spokesperson said of a meeting between Harry and Charles. “The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”

Harry attended a service for the Invictus Games’ anniversary solo on Wednesday at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.

Though no members of Harry’s immediate family joined him at the ceremony, it was attended by relatives of Harry’s mother, the late Princess Diana.

On the same day that Harry attended the service, his older brother Prince William led an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle.

Elsewhere on Wednesday, Charles held his weekly audience with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and then made a surprise appearance at the first Buckingham Palace garden party of the season.

The last time Harry and Charles saw each other was in February, when Harry flew to London to visit Charles after the palace publicly shared that Charles had been diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer.

Harry reportedly met with Charles, who has since begun cancer treatment, for less than an hour on Feb. 6, and stayed overnight in a hotel before departing the next day from London’s Heathrow Airport.

In an interview with ABC News’ Will Reeve just after his visit, Harry said he hoped to see Charles again soon, saying, “I’ve got other trips planned that will take me through the U.K., or back to the U.K., and so I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can.”

While visiting with Charles, Harry did not see William. It is not known whether the brothers, who have a strained relationship, will see each other while Harry is in London this week.

A spokesperson for both Buckingham and Kensington Palaces declined to comment to ABC News.

Prior to February, Harry had not seen his 75-year-old father since the king’s coronation last May at Westminster Abbey.

As he did in both February and May, Harry traveled to London this week solo, visiting his hometown without his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, or their two children Archie and Lilibet.

Harry is scheduled to attend a service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral on May 8 to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, a Paralympic-style competition for wounded service members that he founded in 2014.

Harry launched the first Invictus Games in 2014 in London as an international version of the Warrior Games, an annual event organized by the U.S. Department of Defense, which the prince attended in 2013.

The games have since taken place in Orlando, Toronto, Sydney, Düsseldorf and The Hague.

Following his visit to London, Harry will travel to Nigeria, where he will be joined by Meghan.

The Sussexes are visiting the African country on invitation from the country’s highest-ranking military official, its Chief of Defense Staff.
