“The fact is that Harry and Meghan are cocking a snook at their relatives back in the U.K. and this will further damage relations with William and Kate, and King Charles,” Tom Quinn told an outlet.

OK! previously reported American royal commentator Kinsey Schofield noticed the difference in how Harry and Meghan navigated attending events in the West African nation.

Despite the animosity that has followed since then, the former frontline prince likely misses this one certain aspect of his previous calling.

King Charles and Kate Middleton are currently battling cancer, and royal experts believe the king is being protective of the Princess of Wales as she juggles her health challenges and raising her three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

A royal insider claimed the Princess of Wales “feels terrible” that William and Harry have minimal contact. Still, it was reported — after the friend’s confession — that Harry reached out to his sibling and discussed the possibility of returning to England.

Despite Harry’s potential move to his home country, Tom Bower thinks it would be impossible.

“I don’t think he can come back,” Bower told an outlet. “He’s caused so much damage to the family and the concern now is that if he does return, he could well damage it even further.”

Revelations aside, Tom claimed that Harry and Meghan may be feeling ‘secret glee’ at the situation.

Kate launched The Royal Foundation Business Taskforce for Early Childhood in March last year.

In a speech at Natwest HQ she said it was time to think ‘radically’ in order to create a workforce that is ‘resilient, flexible and able to work through differences with each other’.

“William and I have been doing everything we can to process this privately for the sake of our young family.

“As you can imagine this has taken time.

“It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment.

“But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte, and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them and to reassure them that I am going to be okay.

“As I have said to them; I am well and i’m getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind body and spirit.

“Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too.

“As is the love, support and kindness that has been shown by so many of you.

“It means so much to us both.

“We hope that you will understand that as a family we now need some time space and privacy while I complete my treatment.

“My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now, I must focus on making a full recovery.

“At this time, I am also thinking of all those lives affected by cancer.

“For everyone facing this disease in whatever form please do not lose faith or hope. You are not alone.”

She added: “The healthy development of our children relies on healthy adults.”

The Princess of Wales is said to be keen to see “momentum grow in the coming months and years” as the project she created “is rolling on as she recovers.”

The first hints of friction reportedly came after William was introduced to Meghan when she was staying at Kensington Palace.

Once she’d returned home to Canada, William and Harry sat down for a brother-to-brother chat.

He knew Harry was already head-over-heels for her but it has been claimed he advised him to take it slowly.

The younger prince reportedly didn’t take too kindly to the advice, with one royal source saying he “went mental”.

Then in June 2019 Harry and Meghan officially split off from the charity they shared with William and Kate.

The Royal Foundation will be divided between the Sussexes and Cambridges as the couples focus on their own separate charitable endeavours.

Prince William and Prince Harry first established the Royal Foundation in 2009 before Kate joined two years later shortly after their engagement was announced.

The trio would often appear together at events and the Foundation had huge successes with projects like the Invictus Games for injured veterans and the mental health Heads Together campaign.

The Royal Foundation said the decision was made following the conclusion of a review into its structure – but added both couples will continue to work together in the future.

Harry then jetted back to UK to join William in unveiling a statue to their mother Princess Diana in the grounds of Kensington Palace. But sources claimed William didn’t want to attend the memorial amid their ongoing rift.

In 2022, just before their grandmother the Queen died, sources claimed Kate acts as a “peacemaker” between the brothers.

Harry claimed his brother “knocked him to the floor” during an argument about Meghan, in his memoir.

In Spare, Harry said William branded Meghan “rude” and “difficult” during a row.

Harry alleged William “grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and … knocked me to the floor”.

He said he was left with a visible injury to his back following the argument in 2019 at Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace, where he was living at the time.

In January this year, Harry flew in to be with Charles after the monarch’s shock cancer diagnosis.

Harry flew back to the US the following day – without seeing Wills.

Prince Harry and Prince William have been embroiled in a bitter family feud since before the Duke of Sussex stepped down.

Prince Harry’s feud with Prince William has reached such a bitter stage that the California-based royal now “doesn’t exist” for his brother, according to a royal expert.

The Duke of Sussex first shared insight into their difficult relationship after noting they were on “different paths” during his last official royal tour to South Africa in 2019.

Since then, Harry has further dismantled assumptions about their bond – offering a scathing assessment of their relationship in his memoir Spare.

The Duke and the Prince of Wales have mostly kept their distance from each other over the past four years, with their last joint appearance at the King’s Coronation in 2023, albeit they sat two rows apart.

Royal expert Jenny Bond has dismissed speculation about a possible reunion between the pair as she claimed William “has no room” right now to focus on reuniting with his brother.

Speaking to Times Radio, Bond said: “I don’t think William gives Harry a thought. I think as far as William is concerned, Harry doesn’t really exist.

“I think William has enough pressure on his heart and his head with his wife undergoing cancer treatment and his father, and the big job, and his kids, I don’t think he’s got room in his soul to worry about his estranged brother.

“For all intents and purposes, William has disowned Harry.”

The Prince of Wales has come under considerable pressure since the start of the year as both the King and Kate, the Princess of Wales were diagnosed with cancer within weeks of each other.

He took a temporary leave from duties to be by his wife and children’s side but has since resumed official engagements at a reduced pace.

Asked whether William and Harry could bury the hatchet sometime in the future, Bond claimed that the Prince of Wales can be “stubborn” and could hold a grudge against his brother for a long time still.

She continued: “William is very stubborn, he’s very obstinate. And once he’s set his mind on something, it’s going to be very hard to dissuade him from that course of action.

“I really hope, as years go by, they will mature into thinking blood is thicker than water but I think time can be a great healer but can also entrench your positions.

“So much that we have no expectations now when Harry comes over, we don’t really talk about whether he might meet William.”
