MEGHAN MARKLE has been crowned the most academically intelligent member of the Royal Family, according to a recent study.

The Duchess of Sussex would earn the highest salary “in the real world” based solely on the degree she obtained from university.

 

Research, carried out by Erudera, estimated the incomes of each family member based on the degrees they received during their education.

A study last year by international education provider Oxford Royale also found that Meghan is the “most intelligent royal” and uses “her platform to raise awareness over serious world issues reflects her intelligence”.

Long before Meghan’s acting career, she studied at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where she graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in theatre and international relations.

Initially, it is believed the Duchess wanted to study English at Northwestern University but ended up double majoring in theatre and international relations at the prestigious Chicago institute.

During her studies, was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.

Meghan also completed an internship at the American embassy in Buenos Aires and studied for one term in Spain.

According to Erudera’s research, Meghan would likely take home an annual salary of £39,357.

The company found Prince Charles, who studied Archaeology and Anthropology at Cambridge University, would be the second richest – earning a salary of around £37,359.

Meanwhile, Prince William is said to be just behind his father with a salary of around £34,539.

He earned a degree in Geography from St Andrews University, where he met Kate.

The heir to the throne also took a gap year.

He graduated in 2005 with a 2:1 in geography.

Kate, who also attended St Andrews, left with a master’s degree in history of art.

The study suggests she would be the sixth highest paid royal, with an annual salary of around £33,282.

At the bottom of the list would be Peter Phillips, the eldest child and only son of Princess Anne, whose estimated average income would be £30,418.

He studied Sports Science at the University of Exeter.

Prince Harry, who did not attend university, was not included in the study, which is made up of a top 10.

Unlike his older brother, Harry chose to skip university and instead went to Sandhurst, which is a royal military academy in England.

Meghan Markle always had plans to become a “superstar” and would not have been happy living the “quiet” life of a Royal Family member, a royal commentator has claimed.

Before she and Prince Harry left the Firm, there was talk of them becoming “half-in half-out” royals – supporting the late Queen but also working and earning independent salaries.

This drew comparisons between Meghan and Princess Beatrice and Eugenie, who both have normal jobs as well as attending royal events.

However, royal commentator Jane Barr claimed that Meghan would not have been satisfied with this strategy, as she always “wanted to be a superstar” and had her sights set on bigger things.

She wrote in the From Berkshire to Buckingham newsletter: “She [Meghan] would not have been happy with the ultimately quiet or truly independent/non-royal lives that William and Harry’s cousins actually live.

Looking back to Megxit, Harry was not just the grandson of the Queen, the same relationship all his cousins had to the sovereign, he was the son of the future King.”

Barr also claimed that Prince Harry had become a “spare” in the Royal Family, creating a feeling of bitterness and adding to his list of reasons to leave the family with Meghan.

After years of being treated as a senior member of the Firm, the Duke became “bitter”, according to Barr, before leaving the UK permanently and settling in the US.

 

She continued: “William and Harry were — from birth — preeminent royals, while their cousins, although celebrated, surely, began as secondary royals and only continued to fade as the years went by.

“Harry seems so bitter about being the spare, but he has always been quite senior to his cousins, and treated accordingly.”

 

Prince Harry and Meghan were untimately not allowed to adopt the “half-in half-out” strategy by Queen Elizabeth, which their fans slammed as unfair, maintaining that it could’ve worked.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son, Archie, has largely remained out of the public eye since his birth in 2019. Despite his parents’ frequent appearances in the media, both Archie and his sister Lilibet have been kept away from the limelight.

Upon Archie’s birth, Royal enthusiasts were quick to examine his publicly available birth certificate, where they noticed an unusual detail.

The official document lists Harry as ‘His Royal Highness Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex’, a title that notably omits ‘Prince’. This omission puzzled many, especially considering that both William and Charles were referred to as ‘Prince’ on their children’s birth certificates.

On the birth certificates of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, William is identified as ‘His Royal Highness Prince William Arthur Philip Louis Duke of Cambridge’. Similarly, Charles was styled as ‘His Royal Highness Prince Charles Philip Arthur George Prince of Wales’ on the birth certificates of William and Harry.

Archie’s birth certificate also disclosed previously unknown information about his birth. It confirmed that Meghan delivered at London’s private Portland Hospital, contradicting reports that she had chosen a home birth.

On the document, Meghan is named as ‘Rachel Meghan Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex,’ and her occupation is listed as ‘Princess of the United Kingdom’.

The Royal couple welcomed their baby boy at 5:26am on Monday, 6 May. Buckingham Palace issued an official statement confirming that Prince Harry was present for the birth and added: “The Duchess’ mother, Doria Ragland, who is overjoyed by the arrival of her first grandchild, is with Their Royal Highnesses at Frogmore Cottage.”

On 4 June 2021, Harry and Meghan celebrated the arrival of their second child, a daughter named Lilibet Diana, in Santa Barbara. Interestingly, Harry used his HRH title on the birth certificate; his surname is listed as ‘HRH’ and his first name as ‘The Duke of Sussex’.

Meghan Markle’s name appears as her birth name ‘Rachel Markle’, with Meghan being her middle name.

This caused quite a stir as the couple had previously been informed they could no longer use their HRH titles after their decision to step back from Royal duties in early 2020.

During a recent visit to Nigeria, Meghan shared some insights about her two children. On the first day, the couple visited a school that has benefited from donations from their Archewell Foundation, the Lightway Academy in Abuja.

They met with a group of kindergarten-age children who performed songs and dances for them.

Harry engaged with the class, asking: “Is singing and dancing your favourite class? ” to which Meghan chimed in: “That’s Lili’s favourite class, maybe it’s all the jumping around.”

The Royal pair then visited a STEM class, where the children proudly showcased the robot cars they had built.

 

During their visit to a school, Prince Harry engaged with students about their interest in electronics, while Meghan Markle shared that their son Archie also has an interest in construction. The Royal couple also touched on the topic of mental health during their visit.

This led Meghan to share a heartfelt anecdote about their daughter, Lilibet.

She addressed the class, saying: “We all have our story. And there’s no shame in any single one of your stories. Even on the hardest days or darkest days, everything is a pillar of your strength by each of you being there. Your teachers see that in you. And we see that in you.”

She continued: “And interestingly, so our daughter, Lili, she’s much, much tinier than you guys. She’s about to turn three. And a few weeks ago she looked at me and she would just see the reflection in my eyes.

And she said ‘Mama, I see me in you’. Oh, now she was talking really, literally. But I hung onto those words in a very different way. And I thought, yes, I do see me and you, and you see me and you, but as I look around this room, I see myself in all of you as well.”

Prince William has been admirably stoic in his duty to his country as both his father and wife have bravely battled cancer, but with his younger brother’s recent successful foreign trip he could feel he is being “overshadowed”, a royal expert has claimed.

The 41-year-old heir to the throne has faced strain in recent months, but his younger brother the Duke of Sussex has just returned from a blockbuster overseas royal-like trip to Nigeria, while his wife Meghan has launched a lifestyle brand.

The Sussexes were also reportedly recently seen going for dinner near their home in California with Hollywood executives to celebrate their wedding anniversary.

The Africa trip for Prince Harry received a lot of attention and royal author Tom Quinn suggested William now “sees his role diminished”.

Mr Quinn told the Mirror: “It’s almost and if Harry is using his freedom, his outcast status, as a means to become a more prominent royal than he ever could have when he was just the spare.

Prince Harry was also invited to inspect Nigerian troops, despite no longer holding any military titles himself.

Mr Quinn continued: “They know they will be welcomed and feted as Royals, even if they are not officially royals at all.

“They have realised that the leaders of many countries don’t care who is an official royal and who isn’t, they are just happy to see a young, glamorous couple who have royal titles and fit the bill.

“And after what they see as their wildly successful tour of Nigeria, they are convinced they are on a roll.

“Back in Britain and powerless to compete or to prevent his brother taking centre stage, William sees his role diminished. And he hates it.”

“He may even have started to feel a bit like a spare himself or at least that for the first time in his life he is being overshadowed by his brother and sister-in-law.”

Harry has previously referred to himself as the “spare” and revealed in his debut memoir he was first given the jocular nickname by his father, King Charles.

Charles is said to have first used the term when the late Princess Diana gave birth to Harry. He’s said to have responded: “Wonderful! Now you’ve given me an heir and a spare – my work is done.”

Prince Harry shouldn’t be expected to attend any gatherings of the Royal Family, a leading royal commentator has claimed. Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond asked whether the Duke of Sussex realised that by walking away from royal life he would be alienating himself from “pretty much everyone and everything” he knew in Britain.

She was commenting ahead of the Duke of Westminster’s wedding ceremony at Chester Cathedral on June 7, with guests including Prince William, who will also reportedly act as an usher.

However, it is understood Prince Harry is not expected to attend Hugh Grosvenor and Olivia Henson’s big day, with some reports saying the Duke and Meghan Markle had turned down their invitation. Others claim the Sussexes weren’t invited to avoid tension between the pair and Harry’s estranged brother, the Prince of Wales.

Ms Bond told OK! magazine: “This will be another pinch point for Harry, another illustration he has now excluded himself from the Royal Family and from most of his UK friends. It must be a grim reality for him.

“You do have to wonder whether he realised that by walking away from his royal life, he was alienating himself from pretty much everyone and everything he had known in the UK.”

She added: “You can’t ask your friends to choose between yourself and your brother – especially when your brother is a future King. It’s very sad.

“It’s very awkward for people, like the Duke of Westminster, who have been very good and close friends with both William and Harry for many years. But, as with divorces, choices have to be made and they are always difficult.”

The royal expert said the wedding will be another “graphic illustration” that Harry‘s life is now elsewhere and Britons shouldn’t expect to see him at any gatherings of the Royal family or their friends. She added: “That time has passed.”

The Duke of Westminster is a godson of King Charles and godfather to the Prince and Princess of Wales’s oldest son, Prince George. He is also said to be godfather to Harry’s five-year-old son Prince Archie.

Grosvenor recently topped The Sunday Times 40 Under 40 Rich List, boasting a fortune of £10.1 billion. He became an instant billionaire when he inherited his title and control of the historic Grosvenor Estate at the age of 25 after the death of his father, Gerald, from a heart attack in 2016.

His property company, Grosvenor Group, owns about 300 acres of land in Mayfair and Belgravia, as well as major city centre developments such as Liverpool’s ONE shopping centre.

The Duke’s engagement was announced by his spokesperson in April. Not a lot is known about Miss Henson, though it is reported she has worked as an account manager at upmarket food brand, Belazu.

It is understood she went to Marlborough College, the same school as Princess Kate, and studied Italian and Hispanic studies at Trinity College, Dublin.

Miss Henson and the Duke of Westminster chose Chester Cathedral for their wedding ceremony due to the county of Cheshire being the Grosvenor family’s ancestral home.

They were engaged at Eaton Hall on the Grosvenors’ country estate in April. A private reception is set to follow the wedding ceremony followed by a more intimate gathering for closer family and friends, according to reports.

King Charles was less than impressed when planning his Royal Wedding to Diana as there was one edible detail he wanted to change immediately.

Millions of people watched the then Prince of Wales and Lady Diana tie the knot in a lavish ceremony at St Paul’s Cathedral on July 29, 1981 – but there was one edible detail that had to be swiftly altered because Charles “wasn’t happy”.

Dave Avery, the man who designed and made Prince Charles and Diana’s wedding cake for their big day, has revealed it was the prince who called him to make changes to the design – after Diana had approved it.

The head baker of the Royal Naval Cookery School, Dave, had designed the couple’s five-tier fruit cake which stood high at a tremendous 165cm.

Although Diana had first approved the designs with no changes, the baker then received word from the palace that Charles “wasn’t happy”. Speaking about the late Diana, Dave told Yahoo News: “She was beautiful. She was very pleasant, very polite, we had a few little chats.”

Thankfully, it wasn’t a criticism but a minor detail Charles wanted adding to the cake. As reported in the Mirror, in a documentary titled ‘Wedding of the Century’, the baker explained Charles wanted to add a military role to the cake – the Red Dragon symbol of Wales, which was Prince Charles’ call sign when he was flying helicopters with the Navy.

Dave’s final design was made up of five tiers and the bottom piece was so large that it took a whopping 12 hours to make. According to Wyza news, the cake creator was sworn to secrecy during the 14-weeks of making the cake, and was under pressure to make everything perfect.

Diana became the Princess of Wales when she married Charles at the age of 20 on July 29, 1981, at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. Their wedding saw the largest TV audience for a wedding, with 750 million people in 74 different countries tuning in.

The pair separated in 1992 – before officially divorcing in 1996, one year before Diana died in a car crash in Paris.

Millions also marvelled at Diana’s wedding dress which featured an incredible 25-foot train and was a closely guarded secret prior to her wedding day.

The dress was made with silk taffeta fabric and antique lace, billed as the perfect dress for a ‘fairytale’ wedding. The 19-year-old bride-to-be had personally selected designers David and Elizabeth Emanuel to create the gown featuring 10,000 pearls and a 25- foot train.

It is thought the late Diana first tried on the dress in secret in an underground vault in the lower levels of an old Coutts bank once used to protect Queen Elizabeth’s coffers. Today the underground spot is beneath the original Hard Rock Cafe’s Rock Shop in London.

Prince William‘s alleged mistress definitely wasn’t laughing when the late-night comedian brought up their rumored cheating scandal on The Late Show last week amid speculation about Princess Catherine!

According to In Touch, Rose’s lawyers sent the show a legal notice shortly after the segment went live, in which the host joked about the alleged infidelity while claiming it was the reason Kate Middleton‘s been MIA lately. While the cheating rumors have been around for years, it was seemingly the first time a major media outlet had brought them up amid #KateGate.

In a statement to the outlet, the attorneys revealed:

“The rumor appears to have entered into the mainstream media recently as a result of another joke made about it on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. We have written on our client’s behalf to CBS and various other reputable media organizations to confirm that the allegation is false.”

Oh, wow! Are they trying to get Stephen to walk back on the joke publicly?? That’s wild!

It’s also kinda crazy considering the celeb isn’t even the one who came up with the rumors – he was citing other publications the whole time! And they were reports from 2019, so it’s not like he was breaking any news! In the episode, the TV personality quipped in part:

“Internet sleuths are guessing that Kate’s absence may be related to her husband, and the future King of England, William, having an affair. I think we all know who the alleged other woman is, say it with me, The Marchioness of Cholmondeley. … Now there have been rumors of an affair between William and [Rose] since 2019. According to tabloids, back then, when Kate supposedly confronted him about it, he ‘laughed it off, saying there was nothing to it.’ Aha, always a good response when your wife accuses you of cheating.”

Honestly, wasn’t that bad, all things considered! But we guess the former British model, who has already denied the affair, doesn’t want her name getting dragged through the mud anymore, so she’s doing everything she can to stop it!

For now, the now-controversial opening monologue is still available to watch, so doesn’t look like the legal threat has done much!

Well, the truth is out there now! Princess Catherine revealed in an emotional video she was undergoing chemo treatment. It turns out after her successful abdominal surgery, cancer was found in her tissue. That’s what she’s been dealing with the past few weeks.

Kate even explained all the secrecy! She and Prince William “have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family” — because it took a long time “to explain everything to George, Charlotte, and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them.” Sounds pretty reasonable as a matter of fact.

King Charles is speaking up — and applauding Princess Catherine for her bravery.

In his first public statement following the shocking announcement of her cancer diagnosis, the 75-year-old monarch praised the Princess of Wales’ strength in opening up to the public about her citation. Buckingham Palace quoted His Majesty, saying:

“His Majesty is ‘so proud of Catherine for her courage in speaking as she did.’ Following their time in hospital together, HM has ‘remained in the closest contact with his beloved daughter-in-law throughout the past weeks.’ Both Their Majesties ‘will continue to offer their love and support to the whole family through this difficult time.’”

As you know, the royal family has been experiencing a rough time lately. Last month, King Charles was diagnosed with a form of cancer. He also is undergoing treatment at the moment. It’s wonderful to see him show his support.

It’s also nice they can speak about this publicly. As Kate stayed out of the public eye for weeks amid her recovery, people grew increasingly concerned — and eventually began to spread wild conspiracy theories about her whereabouts and well-being. The whole thing spiraled out of control as the palace released that photoshopped pic — pouring gasoline on the fire. Suddenly they were acting suspicious — apparently for no reason!

After weeks of constant public speculation, the mom of three finally went public with what’s been going on in an emotional video on Friday. Although her doctors initially believed her condition was non-cancerous when Catherine had her surgery, she shared they later discovered cancer in the removed tissue. Now, Kate is undergoing chemotherapy — and having to process that with her three very young children.
